Chapter 13: Space Pirate Shenanigans

In the depths of space, the Megas duo was facing a battle of strange, alien creatures above a mystery planet which the mood in the cars/cockpits weren't pleasant. Rather it was a mix of fear and anger though the latter emotion was from Perseus.
"Man Coop, you pissed them off!"
"Hey how about you stop complaining about the custom car horns and fight these guys!"
The duo continued to fight against a wave of dragon alien monsters as a group bit all four limbs of the mechs, but they all soon freed themselves though fate all of a sudden decided to be a dick to them courtesy of an oil change alarm.
"Hydraulic systems on both mechs are failing!" Kiva shouted.
"Man! I knew I should've gotten an oil change before we left!" Coop said.
"Same here, but I was busy helping Alex get his mech up and working…" Perseus said while shaking his head.
Then the fight brought the Megas duo back into reality as the mystery space dragons were causing them trouble as they both were fighting against a seemingly endless swarm of alien creatures.
"Don't worry, we got this!" Coop shouted.
Both he and Perseus tried to move their mechs, but to their shock their machines didn't move as the Oil Change alarm still buzzed loudly rendering the pair stuck.
"Aw man! Could it get any worse?!" Jamie shouted.
Just as things were about to turn bad, all of a sudden shots rang out of nowhere striking the monsters as seconds later, a large ship with a skull for the front appeared in front of the Megas duo.
"Yep, a mysterious ship with a skull on it and is invisible is worse…" Jamie said.
Then the fake mouth of the skull opened up and sucked in the Megas duo in while everyone freaked out as moments later, the ship left the scene. Seconds later, the two Megas mechs were in some sort of hanger bay with dozens of armed thugs pointing their guns at the Megas duo and their occupants.
"Where are we?" Coop asked.
"And who the heck are these guys?" Alex said.
Kiva then spoke, "Could be, but I don't know for sure though."
"Well, I hope they got food on this rig as I haven't eaten in like forever…" Coop said.
"Dude, we had lunch an hour ago…" Jamie said.
Then Coop spoke, "Hey, it's like that cheesy pirate ride we went on or the Pirates of the Caribbean both the ride and the film!"
"Except these guys aren't puppets or actors and have real guns…" Jamie and Alex said at once.
Nearby, the space pirate captain who had brown-haired and blue eyes with a black cape looked at the two Megas mechs with a few of his buddies near him pondering what to do with them before he spoke.
"Hmm, this particular pair of mechs should fetch us a very hefty booty."
Then one of the pirates spoke, "What about the crew of these two?"
"They landed on Seti-Beta 5, home of the Florgnot which to me means that they're either very brave or very stupid for trying to take on a whole hive of those creatures…." The Space Pirate Captain said.
Coop then came out of his mech as did Perseus seconds later wondering what was going on and hoping they could find help in getting oil for their mechs.
"Um, hi and uh we come in peace." Coop said.
Coop soon discovered that a chain that was part of his pants was stuck so he went to free it while Perseus on the other hand looked around very carefully hand resting on a pistol he kept in his gray vest as the space captain spoke an order.
"I see that it was the latter, kill the crew, we'll seize both mechs."
Just as the guns of the space pirates were getting ready to fire, Kiva leaned out of Coop's car to wonder what was going on and to get him and Perseus back inside their respective cars just as Coop freed the chain part of his pants.
"Coop, Perseus! Both of you get back inside!" Kiva shouted.
Then all of a sudden upon seeing Kiva, the space pirate captain's eyes widened and quickly gave the order to stand down just as two of his crew fired on Coop and Perseus.
"Wait! Stand down now! I want all crew to holster their weapons now…"
At the same time, both Coop and Perseus barely avoided getting shot as Kiva, Jamie, Alex, and Luke came out the mechs of the Megas duo to see who fired at the their friends who flew the two mechs.
Before the group could plan a counter-attack, a pair of extendable bridges jutted out and the mysterious space pirate captain walked up to both mechs and stopped short of them to introduce himself as he then spoke.
"The name's Warlock, Captain Jean-Michel Warlock….and I am the captain of the ship the Saving Grace…"
While he spoke, he did a bow showing his full form that had a black shirt with skull and cross bones, brunette hair, white pants, black boots, dark blue eyes, and a black cap with yellow trim and the inner part being purple.
Seconds later, Coop, Jamie, Perseus, Alex, and Luke all chuckled at the Warlock's accent along with the name of his ship as Kiva looked on confused as hell.
"Look at his cape!"
"I know!"
"Is it me or is he very cheesy?!"
Warlock paid no attention to the guys as he spoke, "In all my years of travel, I have never seen such beauty."
"Um thanks?" Jamie said.
"Dude, he's talking about my robot or Perseus' robot." Coop said.
Warlock quick spoke up, "Actually, I was referring to the red-head beauty behind you."
"Kiva?!" Alex said.
As Warlock walked over to Kiva, two of his fellow space pirates couldn't help, but get annoyed by their captain's behavior and made their thoughts known out loud as they had clearly seen this behavior from their leader beforehand.
"Ugh, not again…"
"Red heads, every...single...time."
Warlock moved past the guys including Coop and Jamie to present a pink rose to Kiva much to her incredible confusion as her teammates looked on as he then kissed Kiva's right hand which creeped out Perseus a bit as at least Jasper was a few seconds unlike the creep he was seeing.
Kiva on the other hand spoke, "Um thanks?"
"Forgive my lack of manners, there are all kinds of vermin in this universe and one must not be too careful." Warlock said.
"Like you had any to begin with Captain Creeper." Alex said to himself quietly.
"I know what you mean! Thanks for the save back there." Coop said seconds later.
Rather than say something like no problem or close to it, Warlock just merely glance at Coop before he looked at Perseus and his two companions before he spoke up.
"No, engaging a flock of Florgnot isn't the wisest thing to do as only a fool would do that. Only one man has been able to defeat a single Florgnot let alone a hundred and that man was me."
Coop then spoke, "Well, it really wasn't my fault."
"Oh yeah? Landing on that planet only to discover it was dangerous and an attempt to leave quietly didn't pan out at all as both of us didn't mean to hit our horns though you had the idea to make them custom." Perseus said with his arms crossed.
Coop's mind flashed back to how it all happened…
Flashback Start…
The Megas duo were in the depths of a planet that had the Florgnot, but at the moment they were all sleeping for now. Coop looked nervous as Kiva then spoke up.
"Okay Coop, just back us out of here and I hope Perseus knows the drill as well."
"Okay." Coop and Perseus said at once.
Then the Megas duo slowly began to back out carefully though Coop accidently crushed a Florgnot egg while Perseus backed into a pillar.
Just as they were about to leave as they had gotten to the exit of the cave, both pilots by mistake hit their horns blasting their custom horns loudly waking up the Florgnot swarm.
"Ah…F***" Perseus said.
Within seconds, the Megas duo were engaged in a fight with the Florgnot…
Flashback End…
"Guess they don't have an appreciation for custom horns." Coop said.
"Not many people do." Jamie said.
"Well as we're cloaked, we won't have to worry about those beasts. Come now, you're all my guests on this ship and what it has to offer." Warlock said calmly around Kiva.
Coop then spoke, "I could use a Philly Cheesesteak or two. Oh and some oil for my mech and my buddy's mech too."
"I'll have my men show you gentlemen the way to the two things you need; food and mech supplies." Warlock said.
"Rock on!" Coop said.
With a quick snap of his fingers, a half-dozen space pirates of Warlock's crew soon appeared around the five guys like magic with Coop showing a good smile as they soon left the scene leaving Kiva with Warlock.
Kiva was about to follow them when Warlock stopped her and spoke to her in his swave and calm voice as the guys soon vanished from her sight as Kiva hoped they would find the oils and some food as well.
"Come now, perhaps you would like a tour of the ship."
Kiva looked at him and spoke, "Thank you for the offer, but I'll stick with Coop and Perseus to help fix their mechs."
"I heard my storage hanger is quite impressive, perhaps I could help you find what you want that would be of use for your repairs." Warlock said.
"You wouldn't happen to have a working Time Drive Control device laying around here?" Kiva asked.
"If it helps to put a smile on that beautiful face then you're welcome to it." Warlock said.
Perseus on the other hand felt that there was something very off about Captain Warlock, but for now shrugged it off though Alex still didn't trust him along with Luke as the guy looked like he could stab you in the back the second you turned your back.
"You have a working Time Drive?" Kiva asked.
"Let me show you the way personally." Warlock said.
Coop then spoke, "Go on, us guys will be fine."
"Alright, but try to stay out of trouble you guys and get that oil." Kiva said.
"Please, what kind of trouble could we get into around here?" Coop said.
"Where do I start? Oh I don't know like pissing off the pirates." Luke said quietly.
As the group of guys walked away with Coop asking one pirate how he could get a hat like his, Kiva stood where she was and watched the group leave.
Seconds later, she left with Warlock walking next to her while holding the same rose he had offered to her earlier and began to speak to her about a few things though it was in a low voice that Kiva wouldn't hear.
"My dear you'll find that my ship is stocked with anything you could imagine…I always get what I want…"
On the other hand, the five guys of the Megas duo including Coop and Perseus were walking with a group of space pirates that Warlock had assigned to them when Coop spoke a question regarding the oil for the mechs.
"Does the oil you guys have is both synthetic and turbo-rated? I'm a bit picky when it comes to my oils."
The space pirates just grumbled in annoyance as the Coop, Jamie, Perseus, Alex, and Luke all stopped all of a sudden as Coop sniffed something in the air as if he was a very good Bloodhound dog.
"Oh boy, he's got something and its likely food." Jamie said.
"Seems like it." Luke said.
Then the guys walked into the ship's main eating area or cafeteria where all different space pirates of the Saving Grace were eating what food they had before a sound got their attention.
"Glanden Stew…"
They all looked to see a green-skinned space pirate getting some food from a device that made the food the alien requested like magic surprising them. Seconds later, the five guys walked up to it with Coop looking around before he decided to see if the machine could do what it had shown moments ago as he then spoke for a food he wanted.
"Philly Cheesesteak…wrapped in bacon…and deep fry it!"
Seconds later, the food appeared and Coop grabbed it before he walked away to eat it while the other guys of their group watched to see if it was real or just a fake trick by the alien technology that the space pirate had.
"Is it real Coop?" Alex asked.
"It is! Try guys!" Coop said in between bites.
Seeing their answer, the guys with the exception of Jamie decided to try the device out for themselves with Perseus going first as he spoke up quickly with Alex and Luke following suit after him.
"Meat pizza and make it Deep Dish Chicago style with a pint of Cola!"
"Ruben sandwich and a peanut butter cookie with a long island ice tea!"
"Bean and cheese burrito with chips with ginger ale!"
Then after the three guys grabbed their respective foods, Jamie walked up to it thinking it it'll grant him something other than food that Perseus, Alex, and Luke thought was dumb as they ate their food as they saw him speak to the machine.
"Vampire Cheerleader!"
*BUZZ*
"Uh, regular Cheerleader?
*BUZZ*
"Yo! This thing's busted!"
*Kick and a BUZZ*
"What an idiot…" Luke said.
"Indeed…" Perseus said seconds later.
On the other hand Kiva was with Warlock in a section of the ship that contained many items the space pirate had 'acquired' from ships to even a mech standing still as if it was still waiting to be sent into combat once again.
"Your collection is very impressive." Kiva said.
"I have sailed across the cosmos many times, but in my journeys I have stumbled across many treasures, but none like you." Warlock said while sniffing a rose.
Kiva was stunned and spoke, "Well, I uh-"
She didn't finish when Warlock spoke, "This way please as I believe that ship near us has what you're looking for."
Warlock was pointing to a green ship not far from where they both stood. Seconds later, both were walking up a gang plank that allowed anyone into the ship as Warlock spoke again.
"I must ask, what of your travels? I must say that I find myself perplexed that you keep such an odd assortment of crew and fiends with you."
Kiva looked surprised and spoke, "Oh Coop, Jamie? You get used to them kind of and as for the others which are Perseus, Alex, and Luke, they're new to me and they're actually a fun bunch. Speaking of which, I wonder how they're doing on that oil?"
On the other hand, Coop was busy with an enormous amount of food near him as a bunch of space pirates gathered near him wondering what was he up to as Perseus, Alex, and Luke came back in seconds later having not found the oils they were looking for.
"Man, getting those oils we need for the mechs is harder than it looks as these pirates are they sharing types." Luke said quietly.
"That's the same with street gangs unless they're certain types of gangs as there are others who won't share what they take from others." Alex said.
Then the trio's attention was directed at Coop and the huge amount of food making them wonder what was he up to as they also spotted Jamie still asking for trivial stuff as they heard Coop speak.
"Okay, now back in Jersey we call this an eating contest. The main goal is to eat the most food without passing out cold or puking up all the food they have eaten."
The space pirates looked confused as they have never had something like this happen on their ship as Coop then pulled out a picture of himself as a hot dog eating champion as he continued to explain what he had just step up.
"But I got to warn all of ya! As seen in this picture, I'm the All-Jersey Hot Dog Eating Champion!"
One of the space pirates then spoke, "This planet Jersey must be a hard and wretched place."
Perseus rolled his eyes as some space pirates chose to participate in the eating contest by throwing in various stuff like a hat or some bits of gold and gems of various types as one of them spoke up.
"What do you wager?"
Coop chuckled and spoke, "Well, mom pulled my allowance for wrecking the house…again."
The space pirates looked a bit puzzled, but that soon dissipated as Coop then pulled out an old hand-held video game device before he put it into the pile along with five other games.
"And I'll raise you five games!"
"Done! HA HA HA!"
As the eating contest got under way, Jamie kept vainly asking for trivial stuff that earned him a trio of chuckles from Perseus, Alex, and Luke as they all heard him continue to speak up dumb requests.
"Solid Gold?"
*BUZZ*
"Goth Chicks?"
*BUZZ*
"A doughnut?"
Then a doughnut with yellow frosting appeared and surprising Jamie before he took it and walked away as Perseus then decided to talk to Coop as he then walked up to him and spoke quickly and quietly.
"Hey Coop, how about we swipe those devices when these pirates aren't looking."
"In a minute, I'm about to start an eating contest want to join?"
"No, I'm good, but I'll be around."
On the other hand, Kiva was getting a bad feeling about Warlock being friendly to her and her companions as they kept exploring one of the ships in Warlock's collection.
Kiva then was rummaging through a pile of various junk when one piece landed on the floor that she went to go get it, but Warlock got at the same time and handed it to her that only added a bit of creepiness to the mood as he soon spoke up.
"Kiva, you're wasting your beauty and skills with those fools…"
Kiva in turn spoke, "That's very kind of you, but my place is with Megas and its brother units…and to some extent for better or for worse, I rather be with Coop, Perseus, Jamie, Alex, Luke, and their allies."
"What do they have that I can't offer?" Warlock said.
"Well for starters aside from kind offer for a Time Control Unit, Coop and Perseus will help me save Earth from the alien race known as the Glorft or at least those two will along with any ally I approve of including Alex…"
It was then that Warlock showed his true colors to Kiva at last after not taking Kiva's rejection of him too kindly as he then spoke of something that showed he wasn't a Space Pirate for nothing.
"I'm afraid I've misled you my sweet Kiva, there is no Time Drive or Time Control Unit that I have…"
Seconds later, he summoned a group of his fellow space pirates with the snap of his fingers as they all came in and surrounded Kiva as she spoke to herself quietly with a thought she just had now.
"Coop, Perseus, I hope you two fixed your mechs…"
On the other hand, the guys were busy with the rest of the space pirates as one pinned Jamie to a wall while the rest of the guys had guns trained on them as Coop held his hands up as Coop was clad in a cape and hat that he had 'won' while the rest of the guys each had purple or dark gray trench coats as Perseus had one that was both a cape and a trench coat.
"Hey, I told you guys I was good…" Coop said.
One pirate spoke, "No man can eat that much!"
Seconds later, another one spoke, "We don't tolerate cheaters around here…unless it's ones of us that's doing it and then it is okay…"
"Kind of being a hypocrite much?" Perseus said.
Soon enough, the guys were all captured by the space pirates as Kiva on the other hand had her hands full with Warlock and more of his fellow space pirates as they all drew their swords as Warlock spoke.
"Don't bother my dear, no one has escaped me. You and your robots will soon be mine…. It is in the best interests if you come quietly."
Kiva got into a combat pose and spoke, "That's not one of my strong suits…"
Then, the space pirates made their move as one of them tried to swing a massive chain at Kiva, but she ducked and elbowed the space pirate in the ribs sending him flying as the fight began.
As Kiva was kicking ass left and right using all of her set of skills from her time in the Earth Collation, Warlock just casually sniffed his rose he had on him like this was normal for him.
"She's amazing, flawless…We shall rule the stars together…" Warlock said quietly to himself.
Kiva on the other hand sent a flying kick to a few space pirates knocking them out and stood alone as she stared down Warlock with the knocked out space pirates near her feet as he soon dropped his rose as Kiva spoke up sternly.
"Now, it's just you and me…"
"Now that's…something I couldn't ask more of…" Warlock said as he drew his sword.
Kiva quickly picked up a sword and the two began to fight in a sword duel that was a call back of the days of sword-to-sword duels of the old before the rise of guns as Warlock spoke to Kiva as the swords clashed.
"I'll make you a wager my dear…if you beat me in single combat, I'll let you and your idiot companions go free, but if you lose…then you shall stay…"
"First of all, I would never trust any deal you would make. Secondly, there's no way you'll beat me." Kiva said.
With that said, the two clashed blades as both were giving their all as both were good in combat as moments later, Kiva kicked Warlock into a room, but the room had a theme that disturbed Kiva greatly; it was all devoted to all red-heads regardless of species or even gender for that matter.
Shrugging it off, Kiva resumed her duel with Warlock as the duel eventually reached the room where Coop, Jamie, Perseus, Alex, and Luke were being held captive high in the air on a tall mast that gave the five guys a view of the duel.
"Check it out! It's Kiva!" Coop shouted.
"About time, my arms are killing me…" Jamie said.
Eventually, Kiva managed to land a slash on Warlock's face giving him a cut right below his right eye as Kiva soon spoke to the space pirate captain.
"Ready to give up?"
Warlock just glared and spoke, "Your confidence makes you more desirable."
"What's with this guy?" Coop asked.
"A very horny and dirty thief if you ask me Coop." Perseus said.
Jamie shrugged and spoke, "I don't know…Hey Kiva! We're over here! You can come save us now!"
Kiva then knocked out Warlock's sword from his hands causing it to land away from him as Kiva glared at him very harshly and spoke to him while holding her sword firm.
"Now, let them go…."
Warlock just laughed and spoke, "Your fiery combat sprit is complemented by you childish nativity, did you really honestly think that I would honor my wager? I'm not called Warlock for show you know…"
Coop nervously chuckled and spoke, "Oh ho, ho! You boys are in deep trouble now!"
"Yeah! Kick their asses Kiva!" Jamie shouted.
"You can do it sister!" Alex shouted.
Kiva looked at Warlock and his space pirates first before she then looked at her captive friends deciding on what she should do next for a few moments as then, she made her choice.
Coop, Jamie, Perseus, Alex, and Luke all watched in disbelief as Kiva all of a sudden drop her sword in surrender causing all five guys to shout their respective reactions out loud in disappointment.
"What?"
"Look at that, just gives up? I could've taken this place with one arm tied behind my back."
"What the hell Kiva?"
"Are kidding me? Are you seriously s***ing me?!"
"What…the…flying…F***!?"
Kiva then spoke, "Please, let my friends go safely and I'll stay with no objections."
"Anything for you my queen…" Warlock said.
"Oh? Now he honors his word?" Perseus said to himself quietly.
Moments later, the five guys were released and were thrown into their respective robots; Coop and Jamie in Coop's mech while Perseus, Alex, and Luke were thrown into Perseus' mech a bit very roughly.
"Hey! Watch the car seats!" Coop shouted.
"Dammit, they got Kiva…" Perseus shouted nearby.
"At least we're back in our robots…" Jamie said seconds later.
Alex then spoke, "On top of that, we didn't get any oil for our mechs…"
"Well now, that's a bummer and that really sucks…" Luke said.
On the bridge, Kiva was watching the two mechs via a screen as Warlock soon spoke to Kiva as she silently glared at the space pirate captain for what he was doing not only to her, but to her companions.
"You see my dear Kiva, I can be merciful."
"Whatever, you said you would let them go peacefully…" Kiva said.
"Dear sweet Kiva, I said I would let them go, but the rest is up to them…." Warlock said as he walked away.
Warlock soon walked over to the ship's wheel that had a button on one of the handles that upon pressing it, a pair of doors opened up and seconds later, the two mechs were thrown out like garbage.
While the guys were thrown out like garbage, Kiva just stood where she was and looked as Warlock then spoke to Kiva in his usual arrogant tone in an attempt to show some form of superiority to Kiva.
"Come now Kiva, they might survive the crash though they'll be in no shape to fight the Florgnot."
Kiva then spoke, "Oh, you're so predictable…."
Seconds later without warning, Kiva kicked Warlock in the groin or in his nuts before she gave him a right-upper cut punch sending the space pirate leader to the floor as she then spoke again.
"Oh? About our deal, I lied as well…"
After beating up another space pirate, Kiva then fled the bridge of the Saving Grace and away from Warlock who got up, glared very darkly, and spoke in a voice he rarely used except for situations like this one.
"That…is…the last…mistake you…will ever make my sweet…Kiva."
As Warlock gave the order for his space pirates to recapture Kiva, back with the Megas duo on the other hand, the two mechs continued to fall towards the surface where the Florgnot lived.
"Come on! Find us a solution! I'm too young to die like this as I got too many things planned!" Jamie shouted.
Luke glared at Jamie and spoke, "Like what? Unless you got an idea of how to fix our robots, shut the hell up!"
"I'll think of something!" Jaime shouted.
"Man! All we needed was some oil!" Coop shouted.
"Any ideas would be helpful!" Perseus shouted.
Then Coop spoke up, "Wait a minute! I got an idea that may seem odd, but if it works it'll save us! Guys, look into your long-coats!"
Perseus pulled out a deep-fired Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and spoke in disbelief of how could a fired sandwich could help them in this dire time as clearly snack time was not what they needed right now.
"How did you get these into our coats?"
Coop briefly thought back to after when he won the eating contest when he ordered fifteen more deep-fired Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches along with fries for himself and his buddies who might like a snack.
"Doesn't matter and I thought you guys might like a snack after that eating contest was completed by yours truly..." Coop said.
Coop then stuffed his deep fired Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches into the compartment for his car to have oil for his robot as Perseus, Alex, and Luke after looking confused all did the same as well as oil from the foods were helping in some odd way.
"Come on big boys!" Coop and Perseus shouted together.
While the boys were hoping for a miracle, Kiva on the other hand kept running from Warlock and his space pirates as the space pirate captain shouted a threat to her to try to make her give up.
"There's no escaping me Kiva!"
Kiva then saw a pair of space pirates trying to block her way, but she quickly kicked both of them aside like it was nothing for her as it reminded her of her fights in the timeline she came from as she spoke up while running.
"You'll have to do better than that!"
For Kiva, she spoke too soon as when she looked ahead, a pack of space pirates blocked her path from escaping as Warlock soon spoke to Kiva after he walked up to her though his voice spoke a tone that was clearly hostile.
"We could've been amazing together Kiva, the stars our kingdom, but now…I just want to see you die…"
Kiva however wasn't paying attention to the space pirates as her gaze soon shifted to a pair of lights that were from certain pair of mechs coming towards her, which Warlock spoke in disbelief.
"But how?!"
Coop on the other hand shouted one thing over an old retro trucking handheld radio that only she heard and none of the pirates heard as he raced to where Kiva was at with Perseus right beside him.
"KIVA! Duck and cover!"
Warlock then spoke up, "They wouldn't! They must be mad!"
"Oh? Then you don't know these guys…even if Coop and Perseus get on each other's nerves from time to time, they still are guys I wouldn't mind doing crazy stuff like what they're about to do now..." Kiva said.
Seconds later, the Megas duo smashed into the ship destroying a pair of windows that for some reason, a force field kept everyone from being blown out into deep space as the Coop's car went straight to Kiva and stopped next to her.
"Yo! Kiva! Get it!" Coop shouted.
Seconds after she got in, Coop spoke, "Were you really going to stay with that guy?"
"Chicks will do anything for a guy with fancy threads and a big ship." Jamie said.
"Dude, shut the hell up…" Luke said sternly.
Then the Megas duo left the Saving Grace and headed for home, but Warlock enraged by all this ordered the deployment of all of his available mech forces. The mechs were mostly dark purple on the torso with dark gray and black for secondary colors for the rest of the bodies as they all deployed to intercept the Megas duo.
Seconds later, they caught up with the Megas duo as Warlock spoke to Kiva via by Coop's mech as Perseus, Luke, and Alex heard him speak as he addressed the two Megas mechs and their crews.
"My dear sweet Kiva, I give you one last chance, stay with me and forget these fools…"
Coop then spoke, "Listen you-"
Coop didn't finish when Kiva spoke, "Arrogant, over-blown thief! You tried to break up our teams, you tried to kill my friends, and you made me listen to your endless, lame, boring, cliched, stupid, dated, and above all…cheesy pick-up lines that makes the stuff my buddies from the Earth Coalition would occasionally say look like gold in comparison!"
"Cheesy?" Warlock asked offended.
"Nice…." Coop and Perseus said together.
"Burn!" Alex said with glee.
Kiva then spoke, "Get that creep Coop and Perseus!"
"With pleasure…" Perseus said.
Then the battle began as the duo began to smash and bash a bunch of the mechanized force of the space pirates as Coop used one to bash the heads off a few while Perseus used a shotgun to blast a few away into scrap metal.
"Bam! Rock on with a shotgun! Blast them hard HA AH!" Perseus shouted.
"Excellent talk Perseus!" Alex shouted.
"Thank you Alex! Oh we get to blast them!" Perseus said.
Moments later, the Megas duo deployed their energy swords with Perseus going for two swords for his mech as to their shock, the surviving mechs of the space pirates did the same as they did, but shrugged it off as it wouldn't matter as both would kick the asses of those space pirate mechs.
The duo fought against the space pirates as both were evenly matched, but the duo were soon slicing and dicing the mechs like no tomorrow as one mech tried to sneak up on Perseus only for it to get sliced in half by one of the Metal Maidens that Perseus had installed.
Coop on the other hand managed to rip the arm off of one mech and used it to smash in the head unit of the same unit he had just ripped the arm off of in a move straight out of the Doom video game.
Seconds later, Coop grabbed the mech of Perseus by its ankles and Coop quickly swung him around as Perseus had both Metal Maidens deployed that turned the duo into a flying, deadly spinning top.
"Now that's how you take care of business!" Coop shouted.
"Oh put in a sock in it dude!" Perseus shouted.
Not done, the duo then fired their arm guns with both scoring hit after hit with Perseus deciding to get a bit creative with him using the arm guns that he had on his mech's lower arms fire in a fashion that would make the M134 Mini gun blush in shock that eventually blasted all the enemies to kingdom come.
"Is that all you got?" Coop said.
Warlock smirked and spoke, "Nope, all batteries…open fire!"
The guns of the Saving Grace soon open fired forcing the Megas duo to evade the shots, but then a main shot from the main guns put them both out of action in seconds.
"Coop! Perseus! We can't take another direct hit from those main batteries!" Kiva shouted.
"She's right! Another hit like that and we're done!" Luke shouted seconds later.
"Don't worry! We got something to even the odds!" Coop said quickly.
Coop and Perseus in the respective mechs both each pressed a button that showed a panel that had another button each called "Equalizer" as both hit them simultaneously, but nothing happened.
"What the?" Perseus said.
"Nice job evening the odds you two…" Jamie said.
Both Coop and Perseus each tried to get their buttons to work to even the odds for them, but nothing was working as Warlock on the other hand was aiming for the helpless duo who at the moment, couldn't fight back.
"Come on! Come on!" Coop shouted.
With nothing working for them, Coop and Perseus both frustrated by their lack of luck slammed both of their heads against their respective car horns while Perseus dropped the F-bomb before grumbling a series of curses under his breath which had the comical effect of blasting out their custom car horns.
"Coop! Perseus! Turn them off!" Jamie and Alex shouted.
"We can't!" Perseus shouted.
On the other hand, Warlock just merely kept aiming the guns on his ship ready to take out the Megas duo with a calm fashion while still holding a rose for some reason.
"Such a waste…oh well…." Warlock said calmly.
Then all of a sudden just as he sniffed his rose, a flock of the Florgnot that gave the duo trouble were coming towards them from the planet's surface making Jamie and Alex curse at their bad luck though Warlock just merely decided rather than finish the Megas duo off, he decided to let the creatures do the work for him.
"Engage the cloaking shield! We'll let those beasts do the work for us…" Warlock said while manning the ship's wheel.
Back with the Megas duo, Coop and Perseus knew they had to work out a plan or they would be dead as Coop as Jamie grumbled in his head at the thought of the space pirate watching them get destroyed before he spoke his thoughts out loud.
"Ah crap, we get eaten and that space dork Captain Lame-O gets to watch…" Jamie said.
"Want to bet?" Coop said.
Then, both Coop and Perseus each pressed a button called "Random Thing…"as seconds later, both Megas mechs both ripped out their horns and threw them both into the Saving Grace as the ship was cloaking with the space dragons following after the horns.
"This is going to be rich…" Luke said while holding a camcorder.
Seconds later, the pirate ship reappeared badly damaged and smoking as the space dragons flew out of the ship after doing a serious amount of damage as the Warlock appeared on the main screens of the Megas duo.
"I will be back and Kiva will be my queen!" Warlock shouted.
"Hey, you should have no problem with those things….as there has been only one man to destroy a Florgnot let alone a hundred and that man…was me…" Kiva said.
"Who, nice…." Jamie said.
Perseus then spoke, "Oh by the way, if you think Kiva will be yours…think again as we have some good buddies to ensure you're going away for a long time…"
Then with a quick motion, Perseus pressed a button and fired a beacon that seconds later, the S-Force and the Ultra Cadets appeared that kept Warlock and ship from leaving the area to ensure he answered for his crimes.
"What the?" Coop asked.
"A little thing called insurance to keep us from worry about him again." Perseus said.
A bit while later, the two Megas mechs were back on Earth after Warlock and his buddies were thrown into prison for piracy for life with Coop and Perseus working on installing new horns for their mechs after they got rid of their custom horn versions during the last battle.
"Kiva, were you really going to stay with that guy?" Coop said as he worked.
"I was merely bluffing as I knew that guy would let you guys back to your mechs and let you both kick his ass." Kiva said.
"Even though our mechs were broken? Kind of dangerous, but then again being in the Marines was more intense…" Perseus said.
Then Goat appeared with the outfit Coop had discarded and attempted to try out the same trick done by Warlock, but a glare from Luke stopped him as Perseus then walked over to an open area for some reason.
Moments later, a container appeared dropped off by Nova of the Ultra Cadets before she left as Perseus then went to it, opened it, and carried out a familiar device.
"Is that the device that makes any food you want?" Alex said.
"Yeah, I asked those guys and gals if we could keep some of that pretty boy's stuff which they agreed to though it is only non-weaponry stuff. If this works out, this can help solve world hunger greatly though it should be used with caution. Don't worry Coop, I have one for you and Alex and Akira." Perseus said.
"Rock on!" Coop shouted.
Perseus smiled as he then walked away and looked at a data pad showing the Saving Grace being repaired for the Megas team and their allies end as so they could be anywhere they were needed provided they don't screw up badly.
He then decided to kick back and relax before he got greeted with a vision of a mysterious female that lasted a few seconds, but shrugged it off as it was nothing…
