As Batman made his way to the large building, he considered using the batmobile to save him some time that would surely be wasted if he went on foot, but he decided against it as although it was an all-terrain vehicle the forest was too narrow for the batmobile the successfully passed through and last thing he wanted was to damage any trees in the area, because if this was the magical world that Hugo was talking about then he had no idea what was living in this Forest.
'Better move on the air of caution for now and leave the batmobile where it is right now.' thought Batman as he made its way threw the thick brush of the forest as he noticed several creatures you would see in mythology looking at him.
He saw small individuals with bug like like wings that he knew were fairies. He also saw what look like a bear wearing a shirt and bow tie, who appeared to be checking his mail? The well-dressed bear casually waved at Batman who waved back, while trying his best not to make a confused face.
"This is certainly a magical world, ahh this is why I don't like dealing with magic."said Batman who was a man of logic, and magic wasn't logical in any form or capacity!
'No one appears to be afraid of my look, and my best theory is that I look like a knight because of my armor. If this is a world of magic and fairy tales then knights should be common, and if knights are the ones that uphold the law of this world, then the populace have no reason to be afraid of them, and forth the sentient bear's reaction to me right now as he was checking his mail. If that's the case I better play the role when I arrive at that building as I have a feeling that is what I'll get most of my answers for what's going on in this fairy tale world.' thought Batman as he passed several other magical creatures, but just like the sentient bear they didn't seem to be afraid of him and just waved at him as he passed them by, waving as well so he wouldn't be rude and draw unnecessary suspicion.

About half an hour later Batman arrived at the large building he saw in the distance and sure enough it did appear to be a school building based on all the teenagers that were going in and out of it. But they certainly didn't look what Batman expected.
Unlike the medieval school he was expecting, Batman saw that these teenagers appeared to be modern teenagers whose trendy looking clothing appeared to be fairy tail based. They also appeared to be using what appeared to be smartphones although he suspected they were called by something else here. They also appeared to be doing things one would expect from a teenager to do like gossiping, taking selfies, etc.
'I'm guessing the fairy tale world modernized and this is the result of that.' thought Batman, who would be lying to himself if he didn't expect something a little more... fairy tail based?
'This teens look like they're based on famous fairy tales. But based on their ages and the way they're acting my guess is that they are related to famous fairy tales, and not necessarily the fairy tales in question like Snow White or Little Red Riding Hood.' thought Batman, who suspected that these were the descendants or at most the children of famous fairy tale characters.
He also noticed that they were looking at him with suspicion and awe as some were taking pictures of him, while he could hear others whispering if they should get a teacher to interfere.
"Halt, evildoer!"said a teenage boy with blonde hair, wearing what look look like the school's version of a letterman's jacket, blue jeans, a white sweater vest, and a crown on his head.
Batman didn't know why but this individual reminded him of the over privileged elite of Gotham, who were basically trust fund kids who were extremely arrogant and thought that the world revolved around them.
"I do not know why you came here too Ever After High, and frankly I do not care. You have made the big mistake of coming to the school just to face the wrath of Daring Charming, son of Prince Charming and hero beautiful princesses!"said Daring, as Batman tried his best not to roll his eyes.
"Now because I am a gentleman, I will give you the chance to leave here with whatever honor you still have and not have to humiliate you in front of all these people."was Daring as he appeared to be admiring himself, in his reflection?
"Sorry kid, but I have business here and frankly, I suggest you get out of the way."said Batman, as Daring took this as an insult to his honor.
"Well don't say I didn't warn you, Dark Knight. Sparrow, my sword."said Daring as a young man who appeared to be a rock version of Robin Hood tossed Daring a sword.
Batman in response just let out a sigh of frustration as he took out his katana and set it to not sharp mode, after all he didn't want to hurt this young man too badly...
"I see you're also a swordsman. But I believe I will be the victor of this duel!"said Daring as he pulled his sword out of it's scabbard and charged at Batman!
Batman easily blocked Daring's sword strike, and the young Charming was honestly surprised how easily his attack was blocked, as that has never happened before!
"I see you have skills with a sword!"said Daring as he began slashing at Batman, who easily blocked each attack every time.
Batman then proceeded to go on the offensive as he slashed that Daring, who was surprised to see how strong his foe was as this Dark Knight was easily pushing him back!
"Well, I think I've had enough of a warm up and will now get serious."said Daring, but Batman could tell he was just trying to save face
Daring proceeded to swing a large slash at Batman, but the Dark Knight simply stepped out of the way before grabbing Daring by his arm and karate chopping him on the wrist, forcing him to let go of his sword!
Batman then proceeded to twirl around Daring before grabbing his wrist and pulling it back before kicking the young man's feet beneath him, putting Daring Charming on his knees! Daring tried to get up but a shot of pain flowed through his system causing him to stay on his knees as he was now locked in his position, as Batman use his free hand to put away his katana.
"Don't move kid, otherwise you'll be in a world of pain. Now we can settle this civilly and I'll let you go, but if you try moving then I'm not responsible for what happens next."said Batman, who has no patience for anyone who tries to attack him.
Daring meanwhile really wasn't paying attention do anything Batman was saying, as he was looking around and he could see his peers whispering on how easily he was put into a hold in how easily his sword was knocked out of his hand. Was he, Daring Charimg about to lose to this mysterious nobody who just showed up onto the school grounds on invited!
"NOOO...!"yelled Daring as he managed to break free from the hold and tried to get up, only for Batman to karate chop him in the back of the neck as soon as he turned around, knocking out the young Charming out instantly as he fell to the floor unconscious.
The crowd of students who gathered were absolutely speechless on what they just saw. Daring Charming may be arrogant, but he was one of the best and most skilled students of Ever After High! He was the captain of the book ball team for goodness sake and the one in charge of slaying dragons that caused trouble!
But now this mysterious Black Knight came out of nowhere and easily defeated Daring like it was nothing. They're level of skill wasn't even close, as it was clear that this mysterious Dark Knight was the more skilled opponent.
Several people in the crowd had their jaws dropped on what they just saw.
One was a teenage female with light skin and long blonde hair. He was wearing a red fashionable dress, with a mini white vest, fashionable looking red high heels, and a red bow with a little crown in her hair.
The one next to her was a teenage girl about the same age with light skin and dark purplish hair. She was wearing a dark dress covered by several metal accessories, high-heeled purple fashionable boots, and what look to be some kind of fashionable crown in her hair.
Another member of the shock crowd was a young teenage girl with long black hair with white streaks, covered by a red hood. She was wearing a red and dark red plaid dress, a black skirt, with long dark red high heels, and a red cape to go with her red hood
Meanwhile from nearby perch a young lady with light bluish purplish hair in pigtails had observed everything with a huge grin on her face. She was wearing a beret with cat ears and a Cheshire smile, a white non-sleeve dress with purple designs and fur sleeves, black fur covered arm bands, dark purple skirt, light purple leggings, and white high heels.
"I can't believe it l, everyone!"said a young female with long blonde hair, a yellow and blue non sleeve frilly dress with intricate designs, light blue leggings, and black high heels with dark brown fur lining.
She appeared to be accompanied by a young man with short brown hair and thick black rim glasses. He was wearing a blue suit jacket with gold lining, a black vest, a light blue and white striped long neckerchief, light blue jeans, and black sneakers. He was holding a large touchscreen device while the girl was holding a microphone that was oddly bear-shaped...?
"This is Blondie Lockes! Head of Ever After High's most juicy gossip and new MirrorCast. We all saw through the MirrorCast that famous student Daring Charming got easily defeated by this mysterious Dark Knight who came literally out of nowhere. Mr Dark Knight, care to comment on your victory?"asked Blondie as she pressed the microphone near Batman's face.
"I'm only here to speak with whoever's in charge."said Batman as he turned around, before he began walking away, with Blondie and her camera man in hot pursuit.
"Wow, something tells me Daring will never live this down."said Raven Queen, daughter of the evil queen, as she and her roommate approached an unconscious Daring.
"Raven, trying to have a little more sympathy as Daring could be seriously hurt."said Apple White, daughter of Snow White and Raven's roommate.
"Considering he's a condescending jerk, I'll pass."said Raven, as she really has never gotten along with Darling Charming.
"Oh, don't listen to her Darling. You did your best trying to face that mysterious knight, and even though you were defeated... rather easily it was still brave of you to face him..."said Apple as she motioned for some students to help Daring get to the nurse's office.
"I don't know who that is, but whoever he is, he's good. Daring may be an entitled jerk but he has skill, and the fact he was defeated so easily shows just how strong his opponent was."said Cerise Hood, daughter of Little Red Riding Hood.
"Oh, I thought it was purrfectly funny."said Kitty Cheshire, daughter of the Cheshire Cat as she appeared before the group.
"Why am I not surprised you support the mysterious Dark Knight who is literally infiltrating our school."said Apple, but Kitty appeared to ignore her.
"Oh, but whatever can we do. Daring was one of the strongest students at Ever After High and he was defeated so easily, it was honestly so embarrassing. I honestly couldn't stop smiling as he was knocked out, after all an unknown element will surely bring a lot of mischief to this school."said Kitty, who loved mischief, and she was sure this Dark Knight would bring plenty of it.
Apple and the others just rolled their eyes as it was clear that Kitty believe she just found her latest toy to mess around with.
Meanwhile Batman was continuously being pursued by Blondie and her cameraman, Dexter Charming, Daring's younger brother.
"Man, I can't believe Daring was defeated by this guy so easily."said Dexter, knowing his brother would probably never live it down as soon as he regain consciousness.
"Your surprisingly calm about this, Dexter."said Blondie, inspecting Dexter to be angry that his brother was humiliated.
"Naw, Daring needed to be kicked on his high horse and this will hopefully humble him."said Dexter, feeling that his brother needed to be knocked off his high horse.
"What is the meaning of this!"asked a middle-aged, slightly overweight man as he was stomping down the hallway.
He was wearing a blue suit jacket, white button-up dress shirt, a blue tie, light grey vest, black slack pants, and dark brown dress shoes. He also appear to be carrying a set of golden keys around his waist. This man was Milton Grimm, the headmaster of Ever After High.
"I'm assuming you're the man in charge."said Batman as he approached the headmaster.
"My word... the prophecy is true."said Milton as he was stopped in his tracks.
"Prophecy?"asked Batman as Milton got on one knee and bowed before him.
Blondie and Dexter were surprised by this before Blondie motioned for Dexter to get this on the MirrorCast.
"Long ago it was foretold by an individual who could peer into the future that a Dark Knight one day come to Ever After High, and when that day came I should welcome that individual with open arms."said Milton as he stood up and adjusted his clothing.
"Who told you this?"asked Batman, wondering who exactly foretold that he would be coming to this world.
"Ah... I'm sorry, but I'm getting up there in age so some memories are a bit fuzzy for me... now what was his name..."said Milton as he appear to be struggling to remember.
"That's okay, I believe we have more pressing matters to attend to."said Batman, who didn't want the man in front of him hurting himself trying to remember something that was clearly a memory from a really long time ago...
"Yes, we must. Now Dark Knight, how about you come to my office so we can speak in private."said Milton as emotioned Batman to follow him.
Batman just let out a sigh as he followed the headmaster back to his office, with Blondie and Dexter trying to follow before the headmaster gave him a dirty look, forcing both students to back off!
'What exactly have I gotten myself into?'wondered Batman, feeling like there was more to the story than even he knew.
