"I must say, I personally never thought that man's vision into the future would come into fruition. But you clearly being here shows me that I was wrong."said Grimm, as Batman followed him into his office.

"You don't need to keep that head gear on your head much longer Mr Knight, the future seeker already told me long ago what's your name is, I think you said it's Bruce Wayne."said Milton, as Batman began wondering who this individual foretold of his arrival.

But seeing as he didn't want to be rude and possibly draw necessary attention from the forces that be, Batman reluctantly removed his cowl and held it and his left shoulder as he sat down, while the headmaster sat down in his chair.

"I must say, you're quite young looking. How old are you exactly?"asked Headmaster Grimm.

"I turn twenty nine in a few months."answered Bruce honestly, seeing no reason to lie about his age.

"My goodness you're almost thirty but you don't even look like it, not at all as you appear to be barely in your early twenties."said Headmaster Grimm, surprised to see how young Bruce looked, as the man certainly did take care of himself well.

"So, may I ask why you're here?"asked Headmaster Grimm, as Bruce began weighing his options.

On one hand he could create mass panic by telling the headmaster the truth that he was sucked into this world along with several of the most dangerous criminals of his world, led by the mad scientists Hugo Strange. Or he could lie and say he was just looking for something, whatever excuse could possibly work in this scenario. Batman felt like these fairy tale people never dealt with criminals as dangerous as the ones from Earth, nor did he want to put the students of this school in danger.

"I'm here, looking for someone."said Bruce, deciding to tell the truth but be mysterious about it, that way no one necessary questions would be asked.

"And who exactly are you looking for?"asked Headmaster Grimm, as he pressed for some answers.

"Someone lost in this world who I plan to bring back home."said Bruce, who was technically telling the truth as he needed to take Hugo and his cohorts back to Gotham to face Justice!

"I see, so you're a man on a mission."said Headmaster Grimm, getting a nod from Bruce.

"I must say, I don't know if it's comfortable letting you run around this land without any supervised authority."said the Headmaster, and Bruce didn't appear to be shocked in the least, as he was expecting something like this to happen.

"Well, I don't want to cause any unnecessary trouble for the powers that protect this land."said Bruce honestly, as he has had several headaches dealing with authority figures during his missions who usually just get in the way and make situations worse...

...One example being a fat, lazy detective in Gotham who just eat donuts and drinks coffee all day...

"So, what do you suggest?"asked Bruce, deciding to play on the safe side as this world was filled of magic, meaning his understanding of it was a minimal at best thanks to his time with John Constantine and Zatanna.

He knew the basics of magic and a bit more than that, but that was pretty much it. So he decided to hear what this headmaster had to say as last thing he needed was dealing with the authorities of this world, as they would just get in the way of his investigation into capturing Hugo Strange and his cohorts.

"Well I saw in the MirrorNet how easily you defeated Daring Charming, one of our top students without so much as receiving a scratch."said Headmaster Grimm as he stood up.

"I only incapacitated the young man as he's clearly an amateur by not being able to tell our difference in skill."said Bruce, as he could clearly tell that this Daring Charming was too arrogant for his own good.

"Yes, it seems being the captain of the book ball team, combined with his popularity seems to have gone into Daring's head and it resulted and him facing an opponent who was clearly out of his league. That is where I need your help."said Headmaster Grimm as he slammed his palms onto the desk.

"What exactly do you need my help with?"asked Bruce, already coming up with several scenarios where Grimm gives him a possible answer and ones where he comes up with a possible response.

"You see it has been a long time since I've seen a knight of your caliber. Your strong, fearless, and in complete control of your emotions as it's clear you held back with Mr Charming and managed to incapacitate him in a way that wouldn't do any serious or long-lasting damage. That takes a large amount of skill."said Grimm, as Bruce was getting a good idea where this was going.

"I'm guessing you're going to hire me as a teacher or something?"inquired Bruce, already guessing that was what the headmaster wanted him, to teach his students the ropes of his skills.

"Exactly. Our students are still quite young and do not see the hidden dangers that this fairytale world has. They do not have the skills or mindset necessary to complete their stories as the next generation of fairy tales. We need someone to mentally prepare them for the day they leave the school and continue on their family legacies. And that is where you, Dark Knight come in."said Grimm as he turned around to look out the window.

"Long ago when I founded this school, a mysterious man saved my life from a dragon. After he saved my life, he foretold that a Dark Knight will come on day to Ever After High and that I must welcome him with open arms. He said that this Dark Knight will be on a great mission and that I need to do everything in my power to help him achieve his goal or the land of fairy tales would be greatly affected. He disappeared as quickly as he came but I never forget those words he spoke to me."said Grimm as he turned to face Bruce.

"I don't know why you're really here and I doubt you'll tell me. But I owe that mysterious individual who saw into the future of my life and by my honor I must help you. But while you're here, I wish you to help my students, while protecting them from whatever dangers are out there."said Headmaster Grimm, who despite what appearances say, he actually really cares about his students.

'This man is sharper than I anticipated. He must suspect that there's an ulterior motive on why I'm here but he doesn't consider me dangerous. Being a teacher at the school sounds like it's a real inconvenience, but considering I don't have access to the Batcave and all communication with my allies is lost at the moment I really don't have much of a choice. I need to set up a base in this world well being able to move around without being hindered by the authorities. So as much as I hate to do this I guess I don't have a choice.' thought Bruce as he stood up from his chair.

"You have a deal Grimm. I'll teach your students what I know but promise me that neither them nor you will get in my way or ask where I am should I disappear from time to time to take care of business."said Bruce, as last thing he needed was some unknown factors in his mission.

"Consider it done. Welcome to Ever After High, Mr Wayne. I'm sure you will be a great contribution to the students and help them fulfill their fairy tale destinies."said Grimm as both men shook hands.

"Anything I need to know about the students?"asked Bruce, who already figured out that the students were children of fairy tale characters, but he felt that there was something else.

"Well yes there is actually."said Grimm as he cleared his throat.

"The students are currently divided into two factions, the Royals and the Rebels. The Royals are students who want to continue their family lineage by continuing their fairy tales. Currently the Royals are led by Apple White, daughter of Snow White, the current ruler of these land. The Rebels are students who want to rewrite their fairy tail destiny and choose for themselves what they want to be. The Rebels are led by Raven Queen, daughter of the Evil Queen. This all started on legacy day when Raven refused to sign the story book of destiny and these days it's getting hard to tell who's a Royal and who's a Rebel."said Grimm, as Bruce took a mental note on that.

"I see..."said Bruce, as this information did sound useful.

"Well, whether Royal or Rebel, it us important that they continue their fairy tale destiny so try your best to convince your students to continue their legacies. Your job begins tomorrow Mr Wayne so please try to get comfortable and look around the school so you can memorize it. I will have some of the faculty put sign up papers for your class as soon as possible."said Headmaster Grimm, as Bruce turned to leave.

"Did you happen to remember who told you I was coming here all those years ago?"asked Bruce, hoping that the headmaster had remembered by now.

"Let me see... oh yes I think his name was Jason Blood!"said Grimm, as Bruce tried his best not to look shocked by this information.

'What was Blood doing in this world? I want to ask him right now but he's currently on a case with John Constantine far outside of any known dimension I've ever been in. How did he know I would be coming to this world long before I was even born. I need to remember to ask Blood about this if I ever see him again.' thought Bruce as he left the headmaster's office.

As he began walking through the hallway he noticed that he was still getting eyes from the students, many backed away from him in fear while others or gossiping about him as he passed them by. He overheard some of them talking about how he defeated Daring Charming, while he heard others comment on how handsome he is.

"How long do you plan to follow me?"asked Bruce as he turned into an empty hallway, as Kitty appeared out of thin air.

"Oh, how long did you know I was following you?"asked Kitty, wondering how long he knew that she was following him.

"Ever since I left the headmaster's office. You must be Kitty Cheshire, daughter of the Cheshire Cat."said Batman, as dealing with the Mad Hatter on multiple occasions has familiarized him with the characters from Wonderland.

"Wow, you certainly know a lot Mr Wayne. I heard that you're going to be your new hero course instructor tomorrow. I'm honestly looking forward to it."said Kitty she was walking past Bruce.

"My boots don't have any laces you know."said Bruce, noticing that Kitty was on his shoes before a disappointed look on her face appeared upon seeing he didn't have any laces.

"Oh boo..."said Kitty, really hoping that she could have tied his laces so he would trip.

"You appear to be one of those individuals that likes to get into mischief, certainly like a Cheshire Cat. But something tells me you're a Rebel instead of a Royal."said Bruce, as Kitty didn't appear to be as mischievous as the story book tellings of her mother.

"Well, I like to get in trouble here and there, but I know my limits. I'm honestly looking forward to class tomorrow as I want to see what the new teacher is made of."said Kitty as she was walking around Bruce.

"What's your interested in me?"asked Bruce, feeling like Kitty was eyeing him too much.

"Well Mr Dark Knight, you're like a wild card, as not only did you appear out of nowhere. But you actually damaged Daring Charming's pride. Oh, how I wish to see the look on his face when he realizes how easily he was defeated by you. Your a wild card all right, and a wild card always causes mischief."said Kitty as she disappeared, with her smile being the only thing that was left before it disappeared too.

"I better keep an eye on that one."said Bruce, feeling like Kitty would get in the way of his missions.

"She's a good girl deep down, you know."said a female voice, as Batman turned around and grabbed his batarangs before seeing it was Raven, who he saw at the courtyard.

"Woah, take it easy teach, I'm not trying to hurt you."said Raven as she held her hands out to show she was not a threat.

"Sorry, force of habit."said Bruce, as Raven started looking him over.

"So you're the famous Dark Knight that was foretold to one day appear here at Ever After High. I must say, you certainly live up to the look as your big, tall, and that armor of yours really does make you look intimidating."said Raven, as she was looking at Bruce's cowl.

"I don't wear this armor to make friends."said Bruce, as it wasn't the first time someone has made a comment on his intimidating armor.

"Yeah, I can see that. You look like you're ready to go to war or something, but I can see that in your soul you have a good heart that can't stand injustice."said Raven, as she could see a kindred spirit and her new teacher as a misunderstood person who only wants to help people.

"And you're nothing like your mother, Raven as you clearly have a good heart."said Bruce, who can tell from Raven's personality and micro expressions that she was a good person, unlike her mother the Evil Queen.

"Yeah... I think it was also due to the fact that I'm the daughter of the Good King. I just want to decide my own destiny but Grimm, my roommate, and a whole bunch of Royals are trying to make me be evil, but I'm not evil!"said Raven, as she felt just because she was the daughter of the Evil Queen didn't automatically make her evil.

"I agree. One should choose the path they go down. No one should choose your destiny, and it's good that you're following your heart as it's clear to me that you just want to help others, so don't let anyone tell you that there's something wrong with that."said Bruce has he placed his hand on Raven's shoulder.

Raven was honestly surprised by this, as this is the first time a teacher actually told her to follow her own destiny. He wasn't like the other teachers who constantly tried to make her act evil so she could follow her story book story like her mother did!

"Um... thanks Mr Wayne."said Raven, who blushed a little, as Bruce let go of her shoulder.

"Well, I'm going to look around the school for a while so please be on your best behavior. I don't want to have any bad blood between my students before my official shift even."said Bruce as he politely excused himself, before walking away.

"So is that the new teacher?"asked a girl with long hair that was light blue with purple streaks. She was wearing a white dress with purple sleeves, a skirt with purple, yellow, blue, and white designs, a blue ribbon around her waist, white leggings, white leggings, and white and yellow high heeled shoes.

She is Madeline Hatter, daughter of the Mad Hatter.

"Yeah, he is, and you're not going to believe this Maddie. He actually said I should follow my own destiny."said Raven, causing Madeline to spit out the tea she was drinking.

"Wow, that's like the first ding dang time an adult has ever told a rebel to follow their destiny, that's just wonderland level of crazy."said Madeline, who seems to like the idea of a teacher who didn't follow the rules of society so to speak.

"Yeah, I wonder how good of a teacher he's going to be tomorrow."said Raven, as she looked in the direction Bruce walked off to.

"Well there's only one way to do that. Let's take his class tomorrow and he how Mister tall, dark, and handsome teaches his class."said Madeline, as Raven looked at her with a confused look as Madeleine pulled out a sign up sheet for hero class.

"Handsome?"

"I heard a lot of girls are signing up for his class as soon as they saw what he looks like without that mask on his face. I mean he gives Daring a run for his money."said Madeline, who overheard that a lot of the female students were going to take Mr Wayne's class after seeing what he looks like without his mask on.

"I guess he is kind of handsome, for an old dude."said Raven, as she chuckled a little.

"I know, that jawline and cheekbones is just screaming handsome. I wonder if he somehow related to the Charmings in any way as he would give them a run for their money."said Madeline, finding Mr Wayne quite handsome as well.

Raven just rolled her eyes as Bruce continued looking through the school, not noticing all the looks he was getting from the students.

Later that evening he went to the quarters that Grimm provided for him. It wasn't anything too fancy, just a bed in the room but Bruce didn't mind one bed as he has slept in worse places before.

"Hah... I still haven't been able to contact anyone back home. Communications are down and now I'm playing teacher for a bunch of students who are children of fairy tale characters. I need to play this role while I find Hugo and his cohorts. They could be anywhere in this world now and I don't know how long this investigation will last. l also don't know how Jason Blood ended up in this world and how he knew that I was coming here when we didn't meet until many, many years later. I don't know why but my gut is telling me that Hugo isn't the only threat that's out there.' said Bruce as his gut was telling him there was more to this case than meets the eye.

And unfortunately for him his gut was usually right!
