Day turned into night, and many of the students have Ever After High decided to have a study party to get themselves ready for the next day, especially the students that are now in Mr Wayne's class.
"Man, my arm is still sore from when he threw me."complained Hunter, as Ashlynn gave him an ice pack, causing him to smile sweetly at her as he took it and placed it on his arm.
"I know, and the worst part it's clear he's holding back."said Daring, whose back was still sore from how many times Mr Wayne knocked him over, and over, and over, and over some more...
"Yeah, and I'm not sure about the whole cheating thing when you're clearly outmatched..."said Dexter, who doesn't know if he and Daring's father would approve of that kind of method.
"I don't know about that, after Blondie recorded his lesson on the MirrorNet, he's become even more popular and more students are setting up for his class."said Cerise, as apparently Blondie's MirrorCast really put Mr Wayne out there and all throughout the land.
"I agree with Cerise. That's one of the reasons I signed up for Mr Wayne's class in the first place."said Darling Charming, Daring and Dexter's little sister.
"You have to admit that he has a unique style of teaching that a lot of people can get behind."said a young teenage girl with wooden like skin.
She was wearing a purple short sleeve dress with the with a print of suspenders printed on it. She was also wearing a pink skirt with intricate purple light designs, and white socks with sandal high heeled shoes on her feet.
She is Cedar Wood, daughter of Pinocchio.
"I cannot tell a lie, but that guy is really becoming a popular teacher throughout the school."said Cedar, as a lot of people have signed up for his class because of his Mr Wayne's teaching method.
"I am still curious as to where this Dark Knight came from."said a teenage girl with with long red and black hair.
She was wearing a poofy red dress, along with a Golden crown around her head, high heeled red pumps with poker theme laces, a poofy red Victorian collar around her neck, and had a red heart shape print around her left eye.
She is Lizzie Hearts, daughter of the Queen of Hearts, ruler of Wonderland.
"I say if he is someone suspicious, off with his head." said Lizzie as he pulled out some cards and swiped her finger across them, causing them to cut in two to prove her point.
"I think that's getting a big extreme, Lizzie."said Raven, as so far Mr Wayne has shown nothing but compassion and trust in his students, so why shouldn't they do the same.
"I think I have to agree with Lizzie on this one everyone."said Apple, chucking everyone as the spike being both royals Apple hardly ever agreed with Lizzie.
"Don't get me wrong, I think Mr Wayne is doing an ever-tastic job teaching the heroics class. But we still don't know anything about him or where he came from."said Apple, causing many of her peers to start pondering as she did have a point.
"Well didn't that mysterious Knight from like a gazillion years ago save Headmaster Grimm and foretold that a dark night would one day appear at Ever After High!"pointed out Madeline, remembering reading that during history class when they were doing a class subject on the history of Ever After High.
"Yeah, Jason Blood, I think that was the name of that mysterious Knight who saved Headmaster Grimm all those years ago."said Dexter, who was in the same class as Madeline during that project.
"Do it was his destiny to come here."said a young girl that she walked into the room.
She had long black and white hair tied elegantly, that went all the way down to her back. She was wearing what you can describe as an intricate white ballerina dress, dark leggings, and black high heeled shoes.
She is Duchess Swan, daughter of the Swan Princess.
"What do you want, Duchess?"asked Raven, there's no one other than Sparrow who gets along with Duchess because of her selfish attitude.
And because of the fact she tries to get her fellow Royals in trouble in order to move up the ranks.
"I'm just saying we don't know anything about tall, handsome, and mysterious. For all we know he could be working for Raven's mother."said Duchess, knowing that she would offend Raven by saying that.
"Hey! Just because my mom is the Evil Queen doesn't mean she's behind every evil scheme that's out there."said Raven, who hated the fact that every time something went wrong, everyone tended to blame her mom just because her mom was the Evil Queen.
"I mean sure my mom cursed Wonderland, made Snow White eat the poison apple, tried to conquer the fairy tale world... I'm just going to shut up now."said Raven, realizing she wasn't helping her case by pointing out all the bad things her mom did.
"But I agree with Raven. Mr Wayne is a hattastic teacher whose teaching method makes the whole system go topsy-turvy. I loved when he went all whoosh, whoosh, swing, swing, karate chop, kick, hiya!"said, Madeline as her friends looked on with worry.
"Are you literally mad?"asked Duchess, wondering where Madeline was going with all of her nonsense.
"Why yes, thank you for noticing."said Madeline, accepting that she was mad as she was the daughter of the Mad Hatter after all.
"I think Madeline was pointing out how a lot of students like Mr Wayne and his teaching methods. He helps his students out and honestly gives them pointers on what they should do. His hands on approach has really struck a chord with both Royals and Rebels."said Cerise, liking how Mr Wayne's hands on approach is really motivating his students.
"Oh I know about his Hands-On approach. After all I know a certain Kitty who really appreciated that."said Duchess, as Kitty Cheshire appeared out of thin air.
"What is that supposed to mean?"asked Kitty, wondering what Duchess was insinuating.
"Oh please Kitty, it's obvious to anyone paying attention besides Cupid that you're totally smitten with the new teacher."responded Duchess, causing Kitty to blush, as she angrily confronted Duchess.
"I don't have a crush on Mr Wayne!"exclaimed Kitty angrily.
"Hey I totally get it. He's handsome, he's nice, he treats you with respect, he isn't an egomaniac like most of the princes here, and let's face it, his armor shows that he's rich."said Duchess, as she noticed that the intricate work on Mr Wayne's armor must have cost him a small fortune.
"I'll have to agree with Duchess on that one. I think Mr Wayne is rich too, as his armor looks like it's made of the top of the line material, and it was crafted by a master Craftsman."said Ashlynn, who knew a lot about fashion because it takes a lot of knowledge in order to know what shoes go with which outfit.
"Yeah, and he's pretty young looking for a dude about to turn twenty nine. Since you don't want him how about I try to make a move."said Duchess, as Kitty just growled at her.
"Stay away from him!"yelled Kitty, before she covered her mouth as she noticed what she had just said.
"Um..."said Kitty, as she noticed that all of her friends heard her.
"See... if that's not smitten with the hot teacher, then I don't know what is."said Duchess, as Kitty retreated by disappearing, with a nervous smile being the last thing seen before she dissipated.
"Why do you egg her on like that?"asked Cedar, wondering why Duchess had to be so mean all the time.
"Hey I'm just trying to warn kitty cat that she has a lot of competition. After all it's a known fact that Mr Wayne has almost as many admires as Daring. I mean he's good looking and you have to be blind in order not to see it."said Duchess, as many of the females in the room had the reluctantly agree with her, despite the fact they really didn't want to agree with Duchess.
"While Mr Wayne is indeed handsome, kind man, I don't think it would be appropriate for Kitty to be with him."said Apple, as Duchess smiled that she decided to cause a bit of mischief.
"Oh, Apple, how can you say that. One can help who they fall in love with, right Cupid."said Duchess as the room turned to Cupid, who had been sitting quietly in the back the whole time.
"Well, yes love is blind and you can't help who you fall in love with. And I think Mr Wayne and Kitty would make a cute couple. And it's clear that Kitty really likes him despite her constant denial of the truth, um..."said Cupid, who felt like she was stuck in a rock and a hard place as she believed love was uncontrollable.
And it was clear to her that Kitty really liked Mr Wayne. But can a teacher and student really fall in love with each other...?...she wanted to support them and believe they would make a great couple, but this was honestly very hard for her to resist as she really wanted to see love blossom. But last thing she wanted was for Mr Wayne or Kitty to get in trouble with Headmaster Grimm.
"Anyway, Duchess what is it to you!"said Cupid, causing everyone to turn back to Duchess.
This caused Cupid to let out of sight of relief and she hated being the center of attention.
"Oh nothing, I just have a feeling that a few Royals may be feeling the same feelings Kitty is feeling."said Duchess, as she looked over at Briar.
"I don't know what you're insinuating, but I don't have feelings for Mr Wayne."said Briar, but that just giggled as she walked away.
Unknown to everyone else Briar had actually secretly taken a picture of Mr Wayne in class when no one was looking with a heart-shaped lying around him.
'Oh, why does he have to be so handsome and kind.' thought Briar, as Duchess had insinuated she had a small crush on Mr Wayne.
She sort of developed this crush when she was seeing him help out his students in heroics class today. After all it's not every day a hot young teacher comes to Ever After High, especially one who is easily as handsome as most of the princes here at the school, if not more so.
"Don't listen to her, Briar. Duchess is just being Duchess as usual, so let's get back to studying."said Apple, as everyone went back to studying.
Meanwhile Duchess headed to the outside water fountain, where she met up with a teenage girl with long white hair and blue skin.
She was wearing darkish blue stylish dress, with black lining around the sleeves. She was also wearing matching pants that were tucked into light blue high heeled boots that went up to her knees.
She is Fable Thorn, daughter of the Dark Fairy.
"I see you're causing mischief, Duchess, but I thought that was supposed to be my thing."said Fable, who like causing mischief like her mother.
"What can I say, if I can't have my happily ever after then I don't want anyone else too."said Duchess, as unknown to many she actually hated her story and wished she would get a prince charming like other story characters would.
"What are you two doing out here so late at night?"asked Bruce, who seemingly appeared between Fable and Duchess like a ninja.
"AHHHH!"screamed Duchess and Fable at the same time, as they weren't expecting their teacher to appear between them seemingly out of nowhere.
Both girls were about to fall into the water before Bruce grabbed him by their hands and pulled them up.
"Wow, strong grip."said Duchess as Bruce let go of them.
"Fable Thorn and Duchess Swan. You two signed up for my class tomorrow and both of you are known troublemakers. I won't judge you because of your past actions but please do behave in my class."said Mr Wayne, not wanting trouble from the two infamous troublemakers of Ever After High.
"Oh, don't worry teach we won't even dream of messing with your class."said Fable, as although she messed with her fellow peers on a regular basis it was rare for her to mess with her teachers.
"Yes, we are ready to play our roles as damsels in distress for heroics tomorrow."said Duchess, as Bruce looked at them with a raised eyebrow before he walked away.
"Man he's just as handsome as Daring, only he doesn't have the ego."said Fable, finding Mr Wayne quite handsome man, liking that he didn't have a huge ego like most handsome men did.
"Yes, he would certainly fit the role of a prince charming..."said Duchess as said she continued staring at Mr Wayne, even after he left the courtyard.
Fable noticed this and could tell that like many of her peers, Duchess was starting to fall under the spell of Mr Wayne and decided to have a little fun with her friend / enemy tomorrow when she play damsel in distress for heroics class.
Meanwhile just in the woods outside of Ever After High, a dark figure was moving through the brush as he moved some branches from a bush and looked at the school from down below.
"So this is where you are, Murcielago."said the figure as he disappeared back into the brush.
