It was just another day at Ever After High. Days had passed since the whole incident in the cafeteria between the Royals and the Rebels.
As punishment for the massive food fight everyone involved had to clean up the cafeteria from head to toe! And to say that the job was not easy was an understatement as many students had to scrub every inch of the cafeteria.
Raven tried to help out with her magic... but that almost resulted in an explosion in a cafeteria and luckily Apple convinced her not to in the end...
As for Kitty, the Mastermind behind the whole food fight and the one who started it. She got a few days detention but she didn't really mind as she was ready to face the consequences if she was ever caught. She wasn't expecting to be caught but she was... and she was willing to take detention.
Meanwhile Batman had left the heroes class to coach Gingerbread Man as he was investigating a report that Hugo Strange had been spotted in a cave system not too far from Ever After High. As Batman was investigating the cave he was sure that Hugo Strange was once there...
'He was clearly here based on the mechanical machinery that was left behind... and the noticeable rappers of food that have Hugo's DNA signature on them.' thought Batman as he was setting up a crime scene.
He suspected that Hugo used this cave as a temporary hideout but has since moved on as it was clear that whoever was staying here had left in a hurry.
"Wait a minute!"said Batman upon noticing a familiar looking Clan symbol that consisted of a red left foot.
"The Foot Clan!"said Batman, knowing that moniker anywhere since he dealt with their leader the Shredder with the help of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
"Why would Shredder work with Hugo Strange? Shredder considers most people beneath him and Hugo has a similar personality so there's no way two different personalities would be working with one another. Unless there's a third party that's making them work together."said Batman, as now that he thought about it something was strange about Hugo's lab.
Hugo didn't have access to a lot of wealth at the time he broke the Mad Hatter out of Arkham Asylum. So who put up the money for him to get all of his equipment in order to bring him here to the fairy tale world? He couldn't have stolen at all is that would have gotten the attention of every superhero on Earth.
The only places with technology like that are STAR labs and that would have certainly gotten the attention of the Flash. Lex Labs in Metropolis didn't have anything stolen either as Hugo is afraid of Lex Luthor, and he would have certainly have gotten the attention of Superman if he came knocking on his arch enemy's doorstep to steal equipment.
He couldn't have been working with Lex Luthor either as Superman keeps tabs on his arch nemesis and let's Batman know if anything strange is going on, especially if one of his villains is involved.
'I doubt Hugo could have stolen all of that money without raising any red flags, so who gave him the money for his research?'wondered Batman, as whoever gave the money had to have the respect of both Shredder and Hugo.
And that was not a lot of people!
'This case has got an even more complicated...but who could be involved in all of this?' wondered Batman, as he had a feeling that someone even more dangerous than Hugo Strange with pulling the strings.
"And how long do you intend to follow me?"asked Batman, knowing that Blondie and Fable had been following him for some time now.
"How did you know we were here?"asked Fable, as no one before ever knew when she was following them.
"I knew for some time."said Batman, who knew that they were following him ever since he left Ever After High.
"Hehe, you can't blame a good reporter for trying to get a scoop."said Blondie in her defense, as noticing the heroics teacher leave campus was something that told her reporters intuition that something was about to happen.
"So... what's with all the lug nuts and abandoned equipment?"asked Fable, wondering what exactly all the stuff on the floor that shouldn't be in a cave was all about.
"None of your business."Batman stated coldly as he began collecting evidence.
"Your looking for someone."suspected Blondie, as it was clear that someone was using this cave as a temporary home.
"Like I said, it's none of your business."said Batman, as he finished collecting whatever he thought was useful for helping him track down Strange.
"I know why you're here Ms Locks, but why are you here Ms Thorn?"inquired Batman, knowing that Blondie he was here to get a scoop but didn't know why Fable was following him.
"I saw you being all sneaky teach so I decided to follow you."said Fable, wondering what the latest it teacher at Ever After High was doing in a cave.
"I see, and it's not because you want to do something evil since you want to be like your mother the Dark Fairy."said Batman, knowing well that Fable didn't follow him just because she was curious.
"Busted."said Fable, wondering how her he saw through her facade so easily.
"Look out!"said Batman as he quickly pushed Fable and Blondie out of the way just as a giant hammer was about to slam into them.
"I was hoping to cross Goldilocks and fairy girl in one shot! But Dark Knight got in my way."said a large talking humanoid rhino dressed like a biker.
"By man! You what have totally crushed them!"set a talking humanoid warthog with purple sunglasses and a purple mohawk!
"Bebop and Rocksteady!"said Batman, recognizing the Shredder's two most loyal and dumbest minions, the muscle of the Foot Clan!
"Why did that orc and that talking rhino attack us!"said Blondie as Batman moved Fable and her behind him so that he could protect them from Bebop and Rocksteady!
"Our Master Shredder says you need to go Batman! So on the off chance you ever found this cave we decided to stay here so we can cave your heads in!"said Bebop as he snorted, disgusting the girls.
"Yeah! But like waiting for you all this time was really boring so we decided to beat up those girls as well just because we can!"said Rocksteady, ready to charge!
"Oh, you think the daughter of the Dark Fairy is going to go down without a fight!"said Fable as she conjured her magic around her hands.
Bebop smile before he pulled out a laser gun and started firing at her! Fable quickly duck behind her teacher and couldn't believe that someone actually fired a laser at her with zero hesitation!
"Okay, Mr Wayne how are you going to get us out of this?"asked Fable, wondering how they were going to get past those two giant dumb creatures of muscle!
"Oh, if only Rosabella was here she could talk some sense into them!"said Blondie, but Rosabella was back at Ever After High!
"Hahahahahah! You think we're going to listen to the daughter of beauty and the Beast because she's the daughter of beauty and the Beast! We're Beasts that only listen to Shredder!"said Rocksteady with a smug tone.
"What does a kitchen utensil have to do with this?"asked Fable, as Batman let out a side of annoyance that she just said something she shouldn't have.
"We start with the fairy that doesn't know respect!"said Bebop as he put his glasses over his eyes and charged!
Batman meanwhile grab both Fable and Blondie and jumped out of the way as Bebop collided with the rock wall of the cave...?!
"Ow, that hurt..."said Bebop as he fell to the ground.
"Your going to pay for hurting Bebop, Batman!"said Rocksteady as he charged with his horn pointed at Batman!
Batman merely stood his ground as he grabbed Rocksteady by his horn and twisted his head before flipping the giant humanoid rhino over his shoulder and slammed him down to the ground!
Bebop meanwhile had recovered and pulled out his laser gun and began firing at Batman! Fable and Blondie meanwhile took cover as Batman use the many different platforms on the cave to avoid getting hit by the laser fire before he kicked Bebop in the face and managed to knock the laser gun out of his hand!
"Ow! That's the mouth I eat spaghetti and meatballs with!"said Bebop as he grabbed Batman and threw him.
Fable saw this and activated her magic to allow Batman to land safely. Rocksteady meanwhile grabbed her from behind and put her into a bear hug!
"Ow! Let go!"said Fable, feeling like her lungs were about to be crushed by the bear hug!
"Let her go!"said Batman as he charged in and punched Rocksteady in his fat stomach!
This cause Rocksteady to let go of fable and Batman managed to grab her before he kicked Rocksteady in the stomach, causing the humanoid rhino to spit out a bit of his lunch as he held his stomach in pain!
"Fable, are you okay?"asked Batman as he was holding Fable princess style.
"Um... yeah I'm okay... can you let me down now as this is embarrassing..."asked Fable with a deep blush on her face.
But before Batman could let her down Bebop had ran in and slammed his fist near Batman, causing the ground he was standing on to lift up and launch him and Fable into the air! Batman meanwhile grabbed Fable with one hand as he activated his grappling hook to grab onto a nearby stalactite and used it to launch himself into Bebop with full force!
"Ow!"said Bebop as he collided with Rocksteady!
"That hurts..."said Rocksteady as he and Bebop passed out.
Batman meanwhile landed near them and let Fable down as he went to go see if they were truly knocked out or if they were pretending as they may be idiots but when it came to fighting they were actually geniuses!
"Fable, are you okay?"asked Blondie who had recorded the whole fight the whole time from the safety from a nearby large rock.
"Um...yeah, just little surprised by the princess carry."said Fable, still blushing as that's the first time a man has ever held her so tight.
"We need to get back to Ever After High. The man these two work for is even more dangerous than them and I have a feeling he's there now."said Batman, as there was no way Bebop and Rocksteady wouldn't leave the Shredder's side unless he ordered them to!
And that only happens when the Shredder has something planned that he needs to do himself!
"I'll call Apple and warn her!"said Blondie as she pulled out her mirror phone to call Apple.
"I'll restrain these two with my magic until the authorities arrive."said Fable as she surrounded Bebop and Rocksteady with magic.
"Apple, some guy called the Shredder is going to attack Ever After High!"said Blondie as Apple answer the phone.
"Too late... A little while ago ninjas invaded the school and everyone's trying to fight them off."said Apple is she avoided getting hit by a Bo staff.
Batman and Fable looked into the call as they saw Daring trying to fight off a bunch of Foot Clan ninjas. Only to fail miserably as they grabbed him and started giving him a wedgie for some reason? Hunter was doing a little better thanks to his skills with a bow and arrow!
Raven was holding back many Foot Clan ninjas with her magic as they saw the Shredder himself leading the charge!
"Let's get back to school immediately as I'm the only one who knows the Shredder enough to defeat him!"said Batman, as Fable picked them up and flew him up in the air with her wings.
"We get there faster teach if I fly you there."said Fable as she started flying Batman back to Ever After High with Blondie close behind.
Meanwhile back of the school Darling was saving her brother Daring from the Foot Clan ninjas as now they were giving him a noogie for some reason? Dexter was trying to help but he was having a hard time bending off the multiple ninjas he was facing!
"Advance! Advance! We need to acquire something from this school!"said Shredder, as the Foot Clan ninjas advanced.
"Ow! Ow!"said Daring before a bony dog like creature kicked him in the... unmentionables...
"Mommy..."said Daring as he passed out and fell to the floor.
"Hehehehehe, this kid is fun to hit."said Rahzar, another mutant loyal to Shredder.
"Stand you're ground everyone! This is our school and we're not going to let these ninjas take it!"said Raven as she and Apple led the charge against the Foot Clan!
Batman meanwhile hoped he would arrive at school in time to stop the Shredder from whatever he was planning!
