Heyo to Funny-Little-Cute White Fox, regarding the length of the villain partz, I figure you mean to shorten their scenes which all I can say is, it's going to be inconsistent, sometimes he may take half the chapter, sometimes he'll be in for a few hundred words, I can't guarantee which one will happen each chapter.
To Gabriel The Fallen Archangel, though Hatsume will help with changing his costume, it would be more material based since a cooling system sounds like it's going to be clunky, though I'm thinking of it like a fan in the costume so I may be wrong and you may have a better idea.
And to Luckenhaft, I'm unsure if by deaddeku you mean the wraith, if you do then I must say that the wraith isn't like Celebrimbor, who has his own weapons that talion can use, though I can imagine that Stain harming Tenya's brother could bring out a more lethal approach from Izuku, but that's unplanned for now.
Katsuki Bakugo looked down at his costume, most of it was to keep him sweating yet keep him comfortable, and although he enjoyed drawing it up, he wished he focused more on the material around his palms, he needed it to be breathable to allow his sweat to come through and to be flame resistant so it wouldn't burn off after a couple explosions, unfortunately this meant he would just sweat slightly more in the palms.
However as he saw Izuku strip off his abdominal leather defences, he figured that he wasn't as inconvenienced by his choice of material.
"Why did we choose leather? There's so many better alternatives god damnit" Izuku complained as he chose to stand in the shade with his under armour.
"Perhaps we should've researched more summer friendly wear" his wraith admitted.
"Oh really? With your limitless intelligence we should've become a scientist" Izuku said sarcastically.
"And you would be my humble assistant, bringing me coffee while I work"
"Oh scre-
"MIDORIYA! PLEASE BE QUIET WHILE I EXPLAIN THE SCENARIO, AND THE SAME TO YOUR WRAITH" All Might scolded as he shuffled through cards.
"Yeah Izuku, stop being so distracting" his wraith chuckled at Izuku's twitching eye of frustration.
"I have such hatred for you" Izuku shook in annoyance as he pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Save it for the training...assistant" his wraith cooed in mock excitement.
"SO HOPEFULLY YOU'VE BEEN LISTENING, NOW LET'S GET ON WITH IT".
"Shit" Izuku muttered, hopefully he could use context clues to help.
All Might began shaking a box, from the sound of the shuffling, there was paper inside, so it seemed they were drawing lots.
Izuku was proven correct when people began taking out the papers.
Izuku followed their example and saw that his paper was labelled 'A'.
"Who has A?" Someone said, when Izuku looked, he realised it was the girl who he called a hedgehog, Momo, and she also seemed none too pleased about who her partner, but still gave a welcoming smile which calmed Izuku.
"Pretty sure she has D"
"Shut up!" Izuku hissed with a blush, scaring the people surrounding him.
"Don't mind me, just being wacky" Izuku sheepishly scratched his head.
"Can't blame you, I'm jealous, I'm stuck with the invisible girl" a short purple guy complained with drool running down his mouth.
"At least my wraith uses innuendos" Izuku muttered as he walked past the short guy and stood next to Momo.
"Innuendos? What do you mean?" Momo asked, but Izuku was not going to do this again.
"Nope, either get telepathic powers or forget it" Izuku sighed, honestly this was better than the alternative, which would most likely end in another insult.
"Well I do have telepathic capabilities" she said, much to Izuku's horror.
"It was my wraith! I don't have any control over what it says!" Izuku screeched as he yet again frightened his class accidentally, however a giggling caught his attention, it was Momo.
"I was joking, I thought you already knew my quirk from the quirk assessment" Yaoyouozu let out a chuckle, "but at least I now know it said something bad" she stopped giggling and changed her tone to stern, her height allowing her to tower over Izuku with judgement in her eyes.
At this point, Izuku had two choices, do the right thing and come clean or-
"Good for you, now let's focus on the class" Izuku turned, looking forward.
"Nailed it" The wraith gave a lame thumbs up as All Might picked out two letters and showed them to the class.
Villains:A Heroes:C
"Looks like we're going against you Midoriya" The short guy gave a thumbs up, whilst looking at Momo, who stood behind Izuku to block his vision.
"Ugh, I'm surrounded by such vulgar individuals" she exhaled, Izuku looked at her deadpan for a moment before she gave a smile.
"I'm talking about your wraith, you are...something"
"I'm not sure if that's an insult"
"Get telepathic abilities or forget about it" she repeated his earlier words, an amused smile on her as Izuku just rolled his eyes.
After getting familiar with eachother's quirks, Izuku helped Momo in setting up the relevant traps around the room, including a net around the window in case Mineta tried to climb in and some random mess that Izuku threw on the floor as per Momo's instruction in case Hagakure tried to sneak in.
"She's very perceptive, and her quirk to create anything is too useful for heroics, why she chose this path instead of philanthropy is a mystery" the wraith wondered aloud.
"Everyone has their reasons, I only hope hers are good" Izuku retorted as All Might began the match.
"BEGIN"
"One has entered the building, the short one is climbing it" his wraith said a few seconds later, Izuku making sure to inform Momo.
He remembered when the wraith revealed this trick to him over the 10 months of training, but Izuku was unable to use this ability and had to rely on the wraith to guide him.
"The realms we occupy both look different as you know, but they now overlap, and I can see what doesn't belong in my realm, and that includes those who belong in yours" was how the wraith explained it, and Izuku never felt comfortable in the shower again.
"MINETA HAS BEEN CAPTURED"
-Good job Momo- Izuku called over the communicator, receiving radio silence in return.
"The other is here, she's trying to sneak by us" the wraith warned as Izuku stood up.
"Where is she?" Izuku asked as he looked for any distortions, or clothes but was unsuccessful.
"To your right! Quick!" Immediately Izuku grabbed at his right and when he felt he made contact he pushed towards the wall, immediately feeling something off, he aimed for the arm and shoulder but neither should be this squishy.
"Wow Izuku, seriously? Now is not the time" His wraith gave him that last piece to this puzzle.
Immediately Izuku let go and jumped back.
"Ahhh! I'm sorry! I can't see you, I didn't know what I grabbed" Izuku apologized profusely as he removed his cape and threw it over the invisible girl's head, before grabbing the capture tape and wrapping it around the cape at rapid speed.
"HAGAKURE HAS BEEN CAPTURED, VILLAINS WIN!"
Izuku took off the capture tape but let Toru keep the cape, for obvious reasons.
"Please accept my apology, I didn't mean to-
"It's fine!" Toru screamed as she ran down the stairs.
"If it makes you feel any better, you got her elbow, but missed her shoulder" his wraith added.
"Not helping!" Izuku folded his arms, hiding them from the world like they were monsters, blushing heavily.
"Midoriya? What happened?" Momo asked as she dragged a net containing Mineta.
"I don't want to talk about it!" Izuku yelped as he descended the stairs at a rapid pace.
"That sneaky bastard" Mineta grumbled as he figured something went down.
"GOOD WORK VILLAIN TEAM, NICE USE OF TRAPS AND PERCEPTION" All Might congratulated but Izuku ignored him.
"Yeah, thanks, whatever" Izuku went to the corner and hid away in the dark, hoping he would disappear.
"NOW THE MVP IS IZUKU MIDORIYA, CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY?" All Might asked, Izuku didn't feel like an MVP, he just felt dirty, and he was sure his wraith wouldn't let him forget his actions anytime soon.
At this point, Tenya brought his hand up.
"Midoriya played an active role in the test, helping Yaoyouozu set traps in regards to their opponents quirks and made use of his quirk to find where the heroes were coming from and communicated effectively, rather than Mineta who immediately began scaling the wall and left Hagakure alone" Iida looked towards Izuku, however Izuku was not paying attention, rather opting to look at the ground.
"CORRECT, A ROUND OF APPLAUSE" All Might laughed as he began clapping rapidly, the students joining in with similar excitement before he took out another set of papers.
Once again All Might looked towards Izuku, who seemed to be doing everything he could to avoid catching his eye.
He knew there was something up, but chose to continue the class by picking out another set of balls.
Villains:B Heroes:D
"Ok so I'm thinking they're going to have the bomb at the top, so we can rush right in, no problem" Kaminari stretched as Bakugo eyed the building.
"Don't underestimate these people, there were hundreds of participants with destructive quirks yet a frog and a guy with a tail got in, that wasn't luck" Bakugo tested some explosions, happy with the results but also making notes on what to improve.
"Yeah right, with our quirks combined, this'll be a piece of cake" Kaminari laughed.
"BEGIN"
Bakugo blasted into the building, not caring for the noise he created, if anything it would hide Kaminari's presence, he rushed to the top but was unable to find the bomb, he knew his explosions revealed his presence and figured that he would be attacked soon, most likely a stealth attack given his opponents quirks.
-Bombs on the second floor- Kaminari said over the radio.
"See, piece of cake" Kaminari chuckled as he entered the room but immediately "Kya!" he was on the floor.
"What the?" He got up, seeing the tail guy, Ojiro.
Ojiro got into a combat stance, and Kaminari copied his example, looking smug as he electrified his hands, one touch and he would win.
"I'll let you go f-" Kaminari began but was interrupted.
"Kya!" A kick across the face, brought him to his knee, immediately getting back up and throwing his electrified palm towards Ojiro, but he flipped over it.
"Hya!" Another kick, this time to the stomach, bringing him back to his knees.
"The hell? Were you raised by ninja's?" He said as Ojiro smiled before flipping backwards.
"Tsuiiiiiiiii!" A final attack to the face, this time with the tail upper cutting him.
In his last moments of consciousness Kaminari spoke through the radio.
-Watch out Bakugo….these guys know Kung Fu!" He said before he got tied up with capture tape.
"KAMINARI HAS BEEN CAPTURED"
Meanwhile Bakugo turned around and began going back towards the second floor, but something in his peripheral caught his attention.
Spinning, he kicked the frog girl in the stomach before she could grab him, using the momentum of his explosions to push her into the wall, effectively knocking her out with a fluid movement, before continuing on.
When he got to the second floor he blasted into the room, surprising Ojiro.
"I figured you had some combat ability, so let's see who's better" he grinned as he engaged Ojiro with an explosive speeding kick, however Ojiro dodged his initial attack with his own spinning tail attack that hit him in the back and slammed Bakugo into the wall before he used his explosions to soften the blow, the tail felt like a baseball bat but Bakugo could take it.
Bakugo got into a combat stance, his grin wild as he unleashed a volley of explosions, though not without taking a couple hits himself, mainly to his legs and face.
At one point Ojiro kicked him back and went on the offensive, using his tail to get closer quicker before landing a harsh kick to Bakugo's leg to bring him to a kneeling position then spinning and aiming a tail attack at his head.
But Bakugo ducked, dodging the tail before he rose and rested his palms at Ojiro's chest before activating an explosion that launched the poor guy into the wall.
However much to his pleasure, Ojiro got back up.
"It's been awhile since I've been knocked down" Ojiro smiled as he changed stance, but Bakugo could see that his stance was tired, it wouldn't take much more to take him down.
"The next time will come soon" Bakugo launched towards Ojiro, clearing the gap before Ojiro launched a punch but Bakugo used one explosion to jump over him, another to maintain his place in the air, then a final one to knock Ojiro back into the ground.
When Ojiro didn't get back up, Bakugo calmly limped towards the bomb and touched it.
"THE BOMB HAS BEEN DISARMED, HEROES WIN!"
"Good fight" he grinned as he spit out some blood.
When Bakugo entered the room, people looked at him with both anger for how rough he was, but respect for his combat ability.
Tokoyami and Iida looked at each other as they stood next to Izuku, who was still hiding away, now understanding what he meant, Bakugo was a natural, he was able to spot Tsuyu before they did when they had a way better view, and his use of his quirk showed he had practiced hard to guarantee that he wouldn't heavily damage his opponents in combat.
However not everyone saw this, instead they saw Bakugo ruthlessly beat a girl without attempting to capture her.
"You jerk!" The girl with the ears pointed an accusing finger at Bakugo, backed up by some of the others.
However as Tsuyu walked in, she walked towards Bakugo and bowed.
"Thank you, for not holding back, ribbit" she rose and walked off, and immediately the rest dropped their pitchforks and silently left Bakugo alone, he showed no noticeable reaction except for a simple "tch".
When all the battles ended, Toru approached Izuku and gave him his cape back, he would make sure to burn it.
"Umm sorry again fo-" Izuku began but she just laughed.
"You're fine, I understand it was an accident so please stop acting like you did it purposely, but I must ask. How did you know where I was?" She asked curiously.
"Oh me and my wraith live in different realms and his realm sees those who don't belong in it" Izuku explained the short version of it.
"So you're wraith could….see...me" she said before realising that Izuku's wraith saw her...and she was wearing nothing.
"Bring your wraith out" she demanded, whether she was smiling wildly or angrily stomping her feet was only known to her and Izuku's wraith.
Izuku took a step back, in his place the wraith stood, giving Toru a little shock at seeing it's appearance and the fact it was looking at her eyes.
"Don't worry, unlike Izuku here, I focus on the eyes" it laughed before it was slapped, or rather Toru tried to slap it but her hand passed through it and slapped Izuku accidently.
"Ow" Izuku quietly reacted as he rubbed his stinging cheek.
"Oh I'm sorry, I guess at least we can get back to normal now and you can stop being so quiet" she turned and walked back to her group.
"I hate you" Izuku muttered to his wraith.
"Yet you need me as much as I need you, we work very well together" it said before disappearing back to its realm.
"So look who's a fellow pervert" Mineta sneered mischievously along with Kaminari who was looking more friendly.
"You are truly an artist with your 'accidents'" Kaminari used quotation marks as he said accidents.
"What? No it was an accident" Izuku tried to deny their claims but Mineta only clapped in amusement.
"Saying it was an accident, you truly are a professional" Mineta grinned, "teach us your secrets" he got closer.
"Nope, not dealing with this" Izuku walked away as Mineta shouted after him.
When Izuku exited the school he found that he wasn't walking alone, Ochako, Iida and Tokoyami followed him in the journey to the train station, they mostly talked about the day and the battle trials, though when Izuku was teased about his trial he brought his hands up, which caught Ochako's attention.
"Izuku? Sorry to ask but how'd you get that nasty scar on your hand" Ochako asked, drawing the attention to his hand where the wraith stabbed him.
"Oh...it was an accident...leaned on something unstable and a nail went through" Izuku lied, something he seemed to be doing constantly these days.
"You should be more careful Midoriya, you'd better have had a tetanus shot afterwards" Tenya added as he separated from the group to get in the car that awaited him.
"Wow that must have hurt" Ochako absentmindedly traced the scar on his hand, she was surprised she didn't notice it before, though she wasn't one to look at people's hands.
However the contact did cause some heat to make its way to Izuku's face as he wasn't sure how to react.
"Looks like you were right" Dark shadow whispered to Izuku's wraith.
"I tend to be, roughly 50% of the time"
"50%?"
"Yeah, either I'm right or I'm wrong"
Shigaraki was currently planning his move for the next day, with the knowledge that All Might was teaching, he was waiting to release the news to the public, once he did the paparazzi wouldn't be able to help themselves.
But whether it was Chichi's influence or not, Shigaraki just didn't feel like he was doing enough for a declaration of war, sure destroying the great UA barrier was good but it felt like he could do...more.
"Yo! Shiggy" Chichi walked into the bar like he owned the place, carrying a hotpot set.
"What's this?" Shigaraki wondered as Chichi emptied a bag, a bunch of ingredients fell out, meat, noodles and veg.
"It's a hotpot, you add stuff to it and make a ramen, I've always wanted to do this but never had anyone to share it with" Chichi spoke excitedly as he began to set up.
It was moments like these that had Shigaraki confused about Chichi, he was a complete psycho who showed no noticeable emotion when he murdered people, yet he seemed to actively seek friendship from Shigaraki and would always do things like this with him, sometimes he'd join Shigaraki in playing games usually while drinking very irresponsibly.
And weirdly Shigaraki also enjoyed his company, all his life he was treated like a prince of darkness, destined to overthrow the world, but Chichi just treated him like he was another person, and encouraged him to embrace the slaughter.
It was different, but it was nice.
"So whatcha doing?" Chichi asked as he took a whiff of the food, obviously enjoying it as he stirred.
"Planning, tomorrow I want to show UA that there's a threat, but I'm not sure how to go about it" Shigaraki grabbed the sides of his head, hoping that he would think better.
"So you want to send a message? Like a death threat or do you want it to be ambiguous?" Chichi asked as he added more ingredients.
"I don't know, I was thinking of just destroying the barrier but I feel like I can do something more" Shigaraki sighed, but once he looked at Chichi's mischievous smile, he figured that the redhead had an idea.
Heyo, this chapter was mostly to introduce the wraith view, although I think I'll nerf it so the wraith can see where people are but Izuku can't, but don't worry Izuku will have plenty of moments.
Another goal was to give Ojiro some love because the anime/manga did him dirty, dude literally got into UA with a tail and martial arts then he gets frozen in his battle test, and forfeits in the sports festival before he could fight anyone, and I don't remember him having any moments of kicking ass so this was for him.
Another thing I want to mention is although I do have accidental groping and comments in this chapter, I'm not going to do that too often because these people are 14 and 15 and I've read too many fanfictions that cross the line and immediately put me off so I don't want this fic to devolve into that kind of thing, hopefully you understand, if you don't then I can only say "please, take a seat".
Ok final thing, I forgot about the hand so that's why the bit with the scar is in this.
