"Well I got to get going to lunch so my friends don't get suspicious...After all we are teacher and student."said Briar as she was reapplying her makeup.
"So where do you want to go this Saturday?"asked Mr Wayne as he was adjusting himself.
"How about a date in the enchanted Forest, a nice picnic or something."said Briar with a smile.
"That sounds nice."said Mr Wayne, before Briar gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"I'll see you later, Mr Wayne."said Briar before she left the classroom.
"Ha...what am I doing?"questions Mr Wayne as he sat down on his desk.
At first he agreed to date Briar Beauty because he didn't want to hurt her as he has done in the past with his past relationships. But was he actually starting to fall for her? He knew that they had an age difference of more than ten years, and she was his freaking student!
"Am I forgetting why I'm in this world in the first place? I have to catch Hugo and whoever else is working with him before they cause real damage to the fairy tale world. But now I'm in been relationship with a girl who not even five minutes ago I was making out with...ha... I've never been good at rejecting the advances of females."said Mr Wayne, who knew that was an understatement especially with his former relationship with Selena Kyle, AKA Catwoman.
That is when his instincts kicked in and he quickly put on his Batman mask. Batman and quickly jumped out of the way before a bullet struck him! Batman and looked around and saw that the bullet had ricocheted from several places from his classroom!
"Bullet? Deadshot!"said Batman as he quickly figured out who it was as only one person he knew was capable of firing a shot with that kind of trajectory!
Batman then activated his tracking feature and follow the trajectory of the bullet to see that it had come from outside of Ever After High! So without wasting a moment he quickly got out of his classroom and began making his way to the outside of the school, away from the Castleteria where all the students were located.
Batman knew that that shot would follow him and as long as he was away from the students, that was all that mattered to him!
Batman then began following the trajectory of the bullet and found that it had been fired from the dark Forest! So without wasting a moment he activated his line launcher and launched himself towards the dark Forest as fast as he could as he knew that he had to take action as Deadshot was not afraid of using hostages to get his way as the only person he cares about besides himself is his daughter, and she's not in this world at all!
"Deadshot! I know where you are so you might as well come out!"said Batman as he immediately detected the outline of Deadshot.
"I guess I shouldn't be surprised that you found me!"said Deadshot as he stepped out of his hiding position.
"The fact that you don't match the environment helped!"said Batman as Deadshot fired a handgun at him.
Batman quickly somersaulted through the air to avoid getting shot as despite wearing a Kevlar titanium armor vest he knew that Deadshot had armor piercing rounds in those bullets. Along with the fact that said bullets are covered with a poison resin that would immediately poison him if he is struck you know vital area.
"I'm surprised you decided to take a job away from your daughter!"said Batman is went into a nearby dense part of the forest.
"It's exactly why she's not here that I decided to take this job! Hugo Strange paid me a lot of money to come here, and because my daughter is not here and no one can use her as leverage against me!"said Deadshot as he tried to zero in on Batman's position.
Batman meanwhile through several batarangs at Deadshot at quick succession! But Deadshot quickly shot them out of the air as Batman charged in and tackled Deadshot onto the floor!
"Why do you even care about these fairy tale characters when they're not even real?!"said Deadshot as he and Batman begin wrestling on the ground.
"They're real like you and me!"said Batman is he struck Deadshot across the face with a knuckle sandwich!
"You know, it's funny. My daughter would love to find out that the fairy tale world that I would read her every night is in some way real! I bet she would really love to meet all of those people at that school!"said Deadshot as he tried to activate a hidden gun mechanism that was in his belt, causing Batman to get off him!
"You stay away from the mess this has nothing to do with them!"said Batman as he threw several more batarangs at the hired gun!
"Actually! One of your students has everything to do with why Hugo is in this world! I don't know who he's working for but whoever they are really once something from one of those teenagers at that school!"said Deadshot as he threw several flashbangs.
Batman quickly covered his eyes as the flash bangs went off!
"Got you!"said Deadshot as he used the moment to get behind Batman with a handgun pointing at the Dark Knight's head!
"You expect me to beg!"said Batman defiantly.
"No, I expect you to die!"said Deadshot as he was about to squeeze the trigger.
But before he could he felt a branch hit him in the back of the head, and when he look back to see who had hit him he thought it was none other than Duchess Swan.
"Stay away from him!"said Duchess before Deadshot pointed his gun at her.
"I don't like hurting teens but I'll make an exception for you-!"said Deadshot, who in his anger failed to notice that Batman had used the moment to grab him from behind and put him into a headlock!
Deadshot had tried to wrestle away from Batman but his grip was too strong as Batman continued to put pressure on the merc's neck! As Deadshot was trying to guess for air, he quickly try to reach for something in his belt but Batman grabbed him with his other hand.
"I hate to do this as this hurts me as well!"said Deadshot before he activated a device that was in his helmet.
It was revealed to be some kind of sonic device that caused whoever hurt it pain as both Batman and Duchess covered their ears! Deadshot was apparently affected as well as he tried to aim his gun at Batman but it was having trouble due to the sound his helmet was making. As he tried to turn it off Batman had reached for the gun and had made it useless by emptying the clip and cocking the gun, emptying the remaining round out of the chamber!
Batman then proceeded to kick Deadshot in the stomach. Deadshot tried to go back for his rifle, but found that Duchess had intercepted at first and then gave him a raspberry before she threw on a rock as hard as she could, causing the gun to shatter!
"Ah, you'll pay for that you brat!"said Deadshot before he activated another flashbang.
But this time when the flash went off, Batman had covered his eyes and proceeded to attack Deadshot before he could activate his wrist gun!
As Deadshot was sent back, Batman had quickly grabbed him from behind and delivered the hired gun a German suplex!
"Ahhh!"said Deadshot as he felt his brain hit his skull, knocking him out!
"As much as he put a strain in my wallet I do need him."said someone from behind Batman, causing him to turn around to see Hugo.
"I don't want to fight you Dark Knight as I'm not right ready to face you yet! But rest assured we will meet again!"said Hugo before he teleported himself and Deadshot away.
Batman cursed mentally as he went over to see if Duchess was okay, after all he wondered why she was here and not in the Castleteria with everyone else.
"Ms Swan, are you okay?"asked Batman before Duchess get something on expected by kissing him on the lips.
This lasted for a few seconds before Batman backed away.
"What are you doing, Ms Swan?!"questions Batman before she shows him the screen of her mirror phone to show that she had taken pictures of him kissing Briar in the classroom.
"Are you really sure you want to be questioning me when you were making out with a student not too long ago. I will keep my mouth shut as long as you and I have a similar relationship. After all... Briar doesn't mind sharing you. That's right, I overheard your conversation with her earlier."said Duchess as Batman try to take away her phone.
"No, ah, ah, ah! I already have the video saved somewhere else. So even if you take away my mirror phone, I'll still have leverage."said Duchess with a smile.
"I thought you had learned your lesson not to use these kind of tricks."said Batman, before Duchess started getting close by hugging him.
"Oh, don't get me wrong Bruce. I do like you, and that's why I have to resort to these methods as there's no way you would go out with me otherwise. You and Briar can continue to date for all I care. Heck, you can even go out with Kitty or whoever else. But as long as I have this you will have to do as I say."said Duchess with a sinister smile.
"Ha... what do you want?"said Batman, knowing he couldn't go against Duchess until he figured out how to delete that video.
"Let's just meet up from time to time when you're not with Briar...alone."said Duchess before she walked away.
"Ha... what do I feel like this investigation is going to get more complicated before it's over."said Batman, who was so distracted he didn't notice that Kitty had seen everything from afar.
"Hmm..."said the Cheshire before she disappeared.
Meanwhile Duchess was making her way back to Ever After High with a big smile on her face.
"I finally get to be with Mr Wayne! I may have had to resort to underhanded methods, but I always get what I want in the end!"said Duchess with a blush on her face as she looked at a picture she had taken of Mr Wayne.
What Mr Wayne didn't know is that Duchess in fact that genuine feelings for him... she just didn't know how to express them perfectly as she just wanted to have a relationship with him like Briar. But in her mind she felt like there was no way he would look her way until she resorted to underhanded benefits.
Meanwhile a certain Cheshire cat was wondering if she should resort to such methods in order to be with the man she loved.
