Yeah I know, took my sweet time with this chapter but there has been SOOO much stuff going on, not gonna bore you with the details so let's get on with a quick explanation then a reply to a review.

Heyo, so my head cannon for shadow of mordor/war is that the the branded handprint (not shamed handprint) is not actually seen by non branded enemies since you could send an ork into a fortress as a spy and they would not find him immediately, so that's the route I'm going with in this, plus Saisho would draw some attention if he had a handprint on his face.

Now to Vail Ryuketsu, although I don't plan on Izuku going the villain route yet, I do plan on some after school activities which will either be in this chapter or the next, and regarding iron will, I do plan on implementing that at some point.

Update from 26th October, gonna try and continue this story, but going to be very slightly editing chapters (mostly changing dialogue) so I can write without having to constantly worry about sticking to the canon I have created, I understand this is definitely annoying and you have my deepest apologies for that.

"Why are you still here? Don't you want to join your friends?" Shigaraki asked Chichi who stood next to him as they watched the teacher take on the villains, though both for different reasons.

"Eh I don't like the idea of ganging up on kids when I have ten on my side, feels like rats fighting over a tic tac ya know, but ganging up on one adult is totally fine with me" Chichi laughed as he stretched before running into the fight.

"Sneak attack!" He yelled as he swiped his claws, missing since the teacher ducked and threw a villain his way, which he managed to dodge as well.

"Ha missed" he laughed before getting kicked across the face, he recovered just in time to collide with another villain who was thrown his way.

"Ohhh, right in the egg basket" Chichi groaned while crawling back to a facepalming Shigaraki.

"Aren't you a killer, shouldn't you be good at this?" Shigaraki asked as he clocked a group approaching them, looking like they just had the fight of their lives.

"I thrive in some scenarios, I lack in others, but for those I make sure I have an ace up my sleeve" Chichi put a foot forward, feeling his ace tucked in his sock before rising onto his feet to greet the guys.

"Done?" Shigaraki turned to the group.

"Yeah, we got rid of the ghostly brat in our bit, but lost a couple to him, is the teleporting guy here?" Shoku asked as his group stood, ignoring the fight happening right next to them.

However, Aizawa was able to catch what was said and he only knew of one ghostly brat.

"Damn you" he growled as his attacks began to hit harder and much more aggressively, all of which Shigaraki analysed while talking to Shoku.

"No, you're going to have to walk, unless you want to try your hand against the teacher" Shigaraki offered, however rather uncharacteristically Shoku refused and went to the collapsed zone, with the other villains splitting up to go to the other zones while the one with blue hair chose to stay by their side, letting his arms hang loosely.

"Yo Neppu, what's up, use your quirk too much?" Chichi asked as he took a seat on the fountain.

"Yeah. That kid had some spit in him, I need a break after that" Neppu said as he sat on the fountain's side.

"Well if you're looking for a chill spot, the shipwreck zone looks pretty good, I saw a float somewhere around here" Chichi pointed to said zone before a great iceberg erupted out of the water as it all froze over.

"Actually. Nevermind" Chichi chose to ignore his previous suggestion and chose another zone with water.

"Perhaps go to the downpour zo-" Chichi was yet again interrupted when the whole dome smashed with electricity coming out of it.

"Chichi please stop talking" Shigaraki groaned as he figured that these students were not going to be easy prey.

However from the downpour zone came some of Shoku's group who went to the other zones instead, confusing both Shigaraki and Chichi by their unanimous uncharacteristic choice.

Todoroki let out a steamy breath as he slid down the ice onto the frozen over lake, Mineta and Koji following.

"Dude, that was insane! Thank God you were here with us, I'm not sure I would've been able to hold back" Mineta attempted to repair his pride, but Todoroki's reply didn't help.

"..."

Instead of replying, Todoroki's opted to focus more on the villains who were incapacitated by the ice.

"Tell me why you're here and what's your plan? Or I'll freeze you solid" he threatened the villains but they just laughed in his face.

"Ha! Nice technique but heroes don't harm villains"

"True, but I'm a hero in training, and this is a high stress situation, I can't be blamed for leaving you here to catch frostbite" Todoroki spoke remaining stoic and uncaring, this managed to convey more malice than if he gave a wild grin like his father would've done.

After that the villain could not shut up about their plan to kill All Might.

"At least we can assume that these guys don't know our quirks, right Kaminari?" Ojiro smiled as he exited his cover.

"Yeah otherwise they wouldn't have put me in the wettest zone" Kaminari quickly chuckled immaturely before he coughed and went back to serious mode "I didn't even get to use my full power" Kaminari shared his smile as they walked past the temporarily paralyzed villains, Ojiro choosing to knock them out as they left the downpour zone.

"So what's the plan?" Kaminari asked as he looked out the door leading to the central plaza, seeing the villains.

"We shouldn't get in Sensei's way, let's try to get to the entrance first and help those in the other zones" Ojiro figured before he noticed that the dome was smashed.

"Look! If we climb out, we can get to the entrance and try to get help" Ojiro suggested, and right away Kaminari started climbing, surprising Ojiro with his determination.

"Come on! Every second counts!" Kaminari shouted as he began scaling the dome, ignoring any cuts he received.

"Who knew?" Ojiro smiled at Kaminari's care for his class before joining him in the climb.

Back in the landslide zone was the hunched villain, groaning as he was held up by Izuku who violently probed his thoughts.

"So you have a weapon to kill All Might? Nomu?" Izuku dropped the villain he was interrogating unceremoniously onto his back, although it took a few hours to pry the information out of him, he found that barely a minute had passed in the real world.

"So the Bright Lord huh? Interesting choice, is this just for now or..."

"Desperate times call for desperate measures, as they say" Izuku answered, still hesitant to use that particular aspect of his quirk, "but with only six villains I shouldn't run in guns blazing, instead I need to use them strategically, perhaps I can even keep this ability a secret and maybe the heroes would blame it on a betrayal" Izuku optimistically explained his logic as he aimed his bow at the top of the USJ.

"Interesting albeit scary thought process, but why do you want it kept secret" The wraith asked as Izuku disappeared into the arrow, reappearing at the top of the USJ.

When Izuku reached the apex of his ascent and began to fall, he remembered that dream, where he saved his dad, the fear on his face unnerved Izuku, even now he regretted using it on the villains.

"Because...I don't think they'll understand" Izuku said as he aimed his bow at the entrance of the USJ where the the purple cloud lingered, preventing escape.

As he began to fall he felt time slowing down, enough that he could properly aim and then released.

But he wasn't done he shot another arrow in the collapsed zone and a final one at the central plaza where he disappeared into it.

Arrow one

Panic coursed through Iida's veins when he saw the hero Thirteen get so brutally defeated by the cloud, he was told to run to UA and get help but he didn't want to leave his class to fend for themselves.

Yet as he took in what was happening, and really thought about what he should do, he understood that they were clearly unable to handle these villains alone.

However all of a sudden the cloud writhed as electricity shot through it.

"Shocking huh?" Kaminari joked, the cloud rushed away before returning to teleport him, but he was slapped away by Ojiro's tail.

"Go Iida!" They yelled and when the cloud began to approach them. Tenya blasted past it and tried to open the door, but in a twist of bad luck, it was jammed shut.

The cloud quickly changed its target and rushed to Iida to stop him, seeing this he began to try harder, but it was slow moving, he wouldn't be able to get out in time, he wouldn't be able to save them.

And as the cloud began to envelop him, it suddenly got hit with something that stunned it, and without missing a beat, Iida roared as he pushed his arms to their limits, the doors creaking as they were forced open.

With a shout of exertion Iida began running with such force that he disappeared in seconds.

"Seems we now have a time limit" the cloud lamented before it went back to the central plaza, leaving the students there.

"Kaminari? Ojiro? Thank goodness you're safe" Mina cried as she held Thirteen along with Jirou and Sero.

"Yeah the strangest thing happened, the villains seem to have let us pass, barely even looked our way" Ojiro recalled his and Kaminari's uneventful journey to the entrance.

Arrow two

Tsuyu desperately tried to drag herself away from the psychopath as they dragged Kirishima behind them, using him as a club that he bashed into the floor whenever he wasn't using him on Tsuyu.

"Bakugo! Please listen to me and stop this!" She begged but whatever words she said went unheard as the woman next to Bakugo continued to whisper things into his ear.

It all went so wrong so quickly, they all fell into the collapsed zone and were instantly set upon by villains, Bakugo and Kirishima took on the melee based villains while Tsuyu did hit and run tactics on the ranged fighters, until a female villain sneaked up on her.

"You couldn't save them" she whispered.

All of a sudden she was surrounded by the villains, Bakugo and Kirishima were on the floor dead, and in a fit of anger, Tsuyu took on the new villains with froggy contempt.

"Yes, get vengeance, show no mercy"

But in reality she was attacking her friends and although they successfully broke her out of the illusion, Bakugo got taken instead.

"Don't crawl away now, I can't be the number one if I let every villain escape" he grinned as the villain beside him whispered into his ear.

"Yes, the number one never leaves any villain alive" she whispered, activating her quirk as Bakugo cackled.

"After what you did to Deku, I'm going to kill you and I'm going to enjoy every second" Bakugo said as he aimed his gauntlet at Tsuyu, her eyes widening in fear as he pulled the pin, but suddenly his arm jerked to the side, blasting the area next to Tsuyu.

"What the fuck?" He looked at his gauntlet seeing a hole that looked like an arrow mark.

"Deku?" He said as the woman hurriedly tried to change his thought process.

"Ignore that, get revenge for Deku it's what he woul-gah" the woman whispering suddenly screamed out as someone tackled her, covering her mouth and nose.

"Protect the class" he mumbled as he held her down, slowly suffocating her.

As Bakugo regained his senses he realised what he had done and grabbed his hair in panic and instantly went to check on Kirishima ignoring the villain fight that was going on next to him.

"Fuck, what did I do? Wake up!" he shouted, but got no response.

"You! Are you ok?!" Bakugo spoke in between his usual tone and a fear that didn't belong on his face as he looked at Tsuyu and she nodded, more terrified by his reaction.

He put his ear near Kirishima's mouth and sighed in relief when he heard and felt his breath.

Immediately he looked for a stick and ripped off a sleeve from one of the unconscious villains.

"Here, we need to keep your arm straight" Bakugo said with his voice shaking while he carefully extended Tsuyu's arm before applying the splint.

"Bakugo, are you ok?" Tsuyu asked, but judging from the sweat and shaking coming from Bakugo's arms, he was far from alright.

In his head the same memory played over and over.

'take a swan dive off the roof'

And seeing the pain he just inflicted Kirishima and Tsuyu, he began to feel that pit of self hatred grow within himself.

After he set her arm with the splint he looked at the villains fighting, the woman was kicking wildly while her screams were muffled as she slowly ran out of oxygen.

"Protect the class" the other villain repeated to himself.

Bakugo didn't know why this guy helped them but it must've been a personal grudge, and Bakugo didn't feel like helping that whispery bitch.

"Come on, let's get to the entrance" Bakugo spoke weirdly softly as he picked up Kirishima in a piggy back fashion.

In the conflagration zone Tokoyami dragged Sato while a very weak dark shadow struggled to carry Yaoyouozu into a burning building to hide from the villains, the fires were controlled so they only had to worry about the heat.

Sato was delirious as he bled from his head while Yaoyouozu struggled to hide her pain mainly due to the piece of rebar sticking out of her leg.

"Oh come on! We were just getting started and you run away? At least your chicken attitude matches your chicken head!" the villains mocked as they scoured the area looking for their to be victims.

Tokoyami was used to insults about his appearance like this, but it always hurt the same, whether it was from his old school or people chucking bread at him in the street, because it was true, he was a coward, even when his weakness was negated, he would still hang back and let Dark Shadow solve his problems, he hated it.

When it came to daytime, his quirk was limited but since he was surrounded by bright fire he was absolutely useless.

"Fumikage…" Yaoyorozu whispered as she created a multiple smoke bombs, landing on her lap.

"Your quirk always reacts negatively to light, these contain black smoke, it should block most of the light from the fire, just don't breathe too much of it" she rasped out as her energy grew weak.

Although Tokoyami's heart was thumping in his head, he took a couple of the smoke bombs, but in that second…

"There you are!" a quad armed villain shouted as they grabbed Tokoyami and threw him onto the street.

"Well looks like the chicken survived the longest, pay up" he called over the rest of his group all of them grumbling as they gave him money.

"You bet on us?" Tokoyami asked incredulously.

"Of course, you gotta have something to keep the easy stuff interesting" the villain laughed as he picked up the dropped smoke bomb.

"Oh you guys already tried sleeping gas, it's useless with Matashi over here, he'll just suck it up again" the quad villain laughed as he cracked open the canister and threw it at Tokoyami, only realising his mistake too late.

"You want to keep things interesting huh? Well then" Tokoyami gave a rare grin at the villains as Matashi began to run in, desperate to suck up the smoke, but a shadow arm crushed him into the ground before he could get close.

"Outside the box huh" Tokoyami let dark shadow expand within the smoke, making it look much larger than it actually was.

"I purpose a new bet, that I can have you all screaming within the next 5 seconds" Dark Shadow grinned, only its eyes were visible in the smoke.

True to his word, in the next 5 seconds, screams and cries could be heard, along with Dark Shadow's laughs mixed in with Tokoyami's mantra as he threw smoke bombs around.

"REVELRY IN THE DARK!"

Ochako and Shoji were cornered by the remaining three villains, all aiming at them like a firing squad.

Ochako knew they were done for, just one projectile went right through Shoji's hand when he tried to block it.

But just then, they were all taken out by a villain who spawned a sword.

"3 in one swipe, that's gotta be a record" he chuckled as their heads fell.

The villain ignored them as he walked past, but not before turning and immediately Shoji got into a combat stance.

"Is there anyone else here? Students I mean, I saw your work and may I say, for heroes in training, you sure know how to crush people to death" The villain complemented, refering to Ochako's desperate plan to throw the big rocks at the villains, which unfortunately left most of them as smears on the mountain zone.

"N-no, just us…why are you helping us?" Ochako replied, shocked by the villain.

"Eh the the Bright Lord told me to protect the class, and if I must kill my comrades to achieve that, so be it" he said as he turned around and walked away, but before he did he turned.

"Oh and avoid the central plaza, the All Might killer is there and I don't think it will hesitate to kill you as well" the villain warned as he exited the mountain zone along with the other villains.

"Bright lord?" Shoji repeated.

"All Might killer?" Ochako repeated.

As villains returned to the central plaza, boasting of their victories, Aizawa's form began to suffer along with his hope, even though he fought his hardest, he failed to protect his students and their deaths were on him.

And now he stood, his elbow skinned and his spirit broken.

But as he got surrounded, he gave a last breath, ready to embrace the cold hand of death.

Yet fate had other plans.

Izuku landed on top of the quad armed villain in front of him, slamming his head into the ground, before kicking a villain across the face while he threw glowing darts at the others, keeping them at bay before the wraith did a double clothesline, making some of the villains take a further step back.

"Sensei! Iida has escaped, help is on the way!" Izuku updated Aizawa, whose will to live was reignited when he heard that.

"Midoriya? I thought you died!" Aizawa gasped, surprised that what he overheard was incorrect.

"As if, there seems to be a betrayal or something in progress" Izuku lied as he made eye contact with Neppu, sending a demand.

And like a good puppet Neppu raised his arm at Shigaraki, his eyes changing their colour to green while a hand print appeared on his face.

"Uhh Neppu?" Chichi asked before a great blast hit Shigaraki, powerful enough to flip him over.

"Neppu, what the fuck?!" Chichi shouted as Neppu aimed at him next, but Chichi was already moving, grabbing his wrist to redirect the blast and going in for a slash to get in contact with his blood.

But as he did, Neppu headbutted him, breaking his blood mask and revealing his face.

"Oh dang it, there goes my disguise!" Chichi complained as Shigaraki rose.

"Nomu, kill the traitor"

Right away Nomu slapped Neppu, pretty much exploding him like a piñata full of ketchup.

And as the blood splattered on Izuku, he didn't dare move, his wraith froze, the world stood still as memories rushed past him like a wave.

And when Chichi's eyes met his, he knew.

"A new limited edition All Might figurine? Yeah sure let's go…."

"...Stay calm Izuku, the heroes are here, everything will be fine"

"Iz…u…ku"

Suddenly a chuckle sounded before turning into a full bout of hearty laughter, students and villains alike both stopped and looked at the source of the laughter, coming from the Central Plaza. From Izuku.

"Midoriya?" The students atop the stairs asked as they saw Izuku's back shaking as his laughter grew in intensity.

But if one were to look at him, they would see that this wasn't the laughter of a happy person, judging from the tears, it was the mad laughter of someone so full of sadness and rage that they couldn't control themselves.

Shigaraki and Chichi looked at eachother confused as a chorus of laughter echoed around the USJ.

As the laughter died down into silent wheezing to a low growl, Izuku glared at Chichi with bright glowing green eyes that promised death.

And as Chichi looked into those eyes, he couldn't help but feel like he had seen them before.

He remembered a time when he was roughly 16, the face of a child who had that same rage filled glare as their eyes glowed.

"A quirk, born in tragedy" he echoed something that he was once told, his fingers beginning to twitch nervously.

"Oh shit!" Chichi exclaimed in amused realisation as the surrounding villains went to attack Izuku.

Izuku stood still, his eyes never leaving Chichi as the closest villain threw a punch, only for a snap to echo through the air, their arm was broken, all the while Izuku remained, only leaning back to avoid the attack he received from the second villain before kicking them in the shin, knocking them down to their knee where they saw the blinding light that was the wraith before it punched them so hard in the face that their blood splattered on the floor.

The wraith then turned to Chichi, joining the staredown as it stepped next to Izuku.

"Midoriya?" Aizawa tried to get Izuku's attention, but was unsuccessful as Izuku kept his eyes on Chichi, like a predator waiting for its pray to run so it could give chase.

"I remember those eyes, but I can't remember from where, must've been drunk" Chichi spoke like he just met an old friend, but with Izuku's lack of response he yawned.

"So I'm guessing I killed someone close to you, and you're here for some payback?" Chichi hummed, Izuku grew angry as he took off.

"No! Midoriya!" Aizawa yelled as he reached out, just missing the torn cloak.

Izuku roared as he sprinted like a bull to Chichi, the wraith joining him as they sped up, clearing the gap instantly.

"First they rush in, because they think they're the main character or something" Chichi recalled numerous encounters with those who wanted vengeance, they always did the same thing.

And when Izuku got close, Chichi brought his claws up, using his quirk to push his arm faster than Izuku could dodge at his speed, easily getting the eyes.

"Then I swipe, and they realise they should've done some research, but it's always too late" Chichi spoke nonchalantly as Izuku screamed and grabbed his face.

"And scene" Chichi bowed, flexing his fingers.

But as he tried to explode the kid's blood, he realised he couldn't.

Was it out of pity? Did he feel bad for causing so much pain?

Nope! It was the teacher erasing his quirk.

Izuku recoiled in pain, his eyes scratched out, bits of them on the floor and Chichi's nails.

Yet instead of backing down, he just roared again and went back to attacking despite his blindness.

"Well this is a first" Chichi laughed as he went to sneak around the kid, but he still got hit by the blind kid, who seemed to sense him.

Although he didn't have eyes, Izuku knew where Chichi stood, his wraith told him everything he had to know, such as when to grab.

"Oh I have waited for this moment for so long, and I'm going to take great pleasure in this!" the wraith said when Izuku got a strong hold of Chichi, sending a wraith punch to Chichi's stomach before Izuku headbutted him.

Chichi stabbed and slashed the kid's stomach with his claws in return, but nothing seemed to phase Izuku as he continued his mad assault, too drunk on rage to feel anything other than his hatred.

"You...everything, it was because of you" Izuku couldn't get his words straight, he remembers the years of isolation, remembering that day over and over again.

He lifted Chichi up into the air before the wraith returned to help Izuku slam him into the floor.

Chichi felt his quirk return to him but before he could capitalise on it he was grabbed by his neck, getting dragged along the floor, the friction scraping the side of his face off before it was slammed against the fountain.

"Damn kid, did daddy not teach you to hold back?" Chichi taunted before his head slammed into the curb.

Yet again he tried to use his quirk, but again Aizawa was there.

"Midoriya! Stop this!" He shouted as he fought Shigaraki but Izuku didn't hear him.

In Izuku's rage he forgot about keeping his new ability a secret and grabbed Chichi's head.

However something unexpected happened.

The soul

It started as usual, images going by, a battlefield covered in blood, many bars filled with bodies, and many, many attempts on Chichi's life.

A quirk to move blood, nothing special, nothing strong.

But a little too much trigger and it was a quirk to be reckoned with.

"You're no villain! Just a psycho junkie" a distorted voice shouted.

"I know, I'm not strong enough to be like them, I don't have the 'it' factor that they did" Chichi's voice echoed as Izuku appeared in front of him.

However as he make contact, Chichi moved and grabbed his hand.

"But I may be just a psycho, but I'm HIS psycho!" he grinned before kicking Izuku off him and out the soul.

Back to the USJ

Izuku stumbled back, confused by what had just happened, too stunned to react when he heard the hand villain speak.

"Nomu"

A scream of agony caught Izuku's attention, turning around the wraith saw that Aizawa was on the floor, one arm broken and blood pooling around him, a figure flickered in front of Izuku and before the wraith could warn him, Izuku suddenly slammed into the ground.

He tried to get up, before he realised that his left arm was gone, dry blood dropping in clumps out his stump.

"Shit!" Izuku tried to crawl away but was grabbed by something big.

"Let…him go" Izuku heard his teacher's voice before he was kicked across the face by one of the villains.

And as he screamed Izuku was back in that store on that dreadful day.

He couldn't do anything then, and he wasn't doing anything now, he was pathetic.

"Please" Izuku whimpered, catching the attention of Shigaraki.

"Stop this, not him as well" Izuku cried, but in response, the other villains just laughed.

"After all that laughing and shouting, you're fucking crying! What a bitch" they laughed as they kicked Aizawa.

However when all seemed lost.

"FOR THE BRIGHT LORD!" Suddenly the branded appeared, taking out the villains before they could understand what was going on.

And as if it couldn't get better, the doors blew open.

"NO NEED TO FEAR"

"Finally" Shigaraki grinned as Izuku was dropped onto the floor.

"FOR I AM HERE!"

Yeah this chapter has run way too long to finish the USJ arc so enjoy another million year wait.

Anyhoo, I think I definitely shot myself in the foot by having actual psycho villains in the USJ but I think I did alright with the students just being lucky with their placements as well as Izuku's branded coming in for the save. Though yeah definitely could've done better I'd admit.

So I should mention that I always intended on Chichi being the killer, so this wasn't a split second decision.
