Heyo I'm back for this chapter, though judging on how long it's taken me to actually complete this single chapter I can't guarantee that the next chapter is going to come soon or at all, though it's super frustrating cause I keep thinking up scenes which may or may not happen later but in order to get to them I gotta fill in the middle.

Anyhoo to Joe Sprott, thank you for noticing my depiction of Bakugo's mental damage. I always found it interesting in other fics and I'm happy that I've done it at least well enough to be complimented.

To Onegeria and Funny-Little-Cute White Fox, apologies for the wait, but thanks for the continued viewing, I hope Onegeria's keyboard has recovered because I truly fear for its safety at this point.

And to Captain Stag, oh stop you're gonna make me blush.

Also quick update, a few chapters have been added to or slightly changed, but it's nothing huge, pretty much a few words have been changed to add to tone and character, because if I can't finish this chapter, might as well improve what's already been posted, though I recommend you check out the previous chapter because I changed up the right a bit, anyway deepest apologies to those who may feel forced to reread the previous chapters.

The day after the USJ.

"How is he? He hasn't spoken since I brought him home" Mitsuki asked her husband as they say in the kitchen eating their breakfast, their usually loud son absent.

"Give him time, he just lost his friend"

Upstairs, Bakugo resided in his room, staring at the wall while he let smoke seep from his palm.

This was a sort of meditation for him, see how long he could create smoke before the inevitable spark.

The news played in the background, he picked up something about a prison escape but ignored it, nothing he couldn't check out later.

Once again he heard his phone buzz, every couple minutes his phone would vibrate with a new mesage that would remain unread like the rest.

In this weird amalgamation of sound coming from the news and the buzzing of his phone, Bakugo found himself in a temporary state of peace.

But of course, when the mind is quiet, thoughts run wild.

'take a swan d-BOOM!

Goddamnit why was it him who died? It should've been Bakugo, after everything he had done to Dek-

Bakugo stopped himself, he didn't feel that he should be allowed to say his name.

Despite his thoughts, he couldn't help but chuckle a little.

It was funny in a cosmic sense, Bakugo always told people that Deku one was the weak one, so useless, even his quirk didn't do anything.

Yet who was it that saved him? And did so blind and one handed.

Bakugo let out a frustrated sigh, it should've been him.

He couldn't stay in his room, it felt suffocating with the smell of nitroglycerin in the air, so he went downstairs to see his parents immediately go to him, their worried faces….just annoyed him.

"Fuck off! I'm going out!" Bakugo shouted as he put on his shoes, his parents backing off to give him space.

With no idea where to go, Bakugo walked the linear streets with a glum expression, and to make the scene all the more depressing, it began to rain.

Now cold and wet, he came to a familiar set of stairs, a door at the top.

He took a breath, considering what he was about to do. Wait, what was he going to do?

"Fuck it" Bakugo pushed every thought to the side, he'd figure something out by the time he got to the door.

With every step, Bakugo's heart rose like a war drum, until he stood at the door and prepared to knock, or rather tried to.

What was he doing here? Why did he come?

He knocked on the door, fighting the urge to run.

And then it opened, a green haired woman peeked her head out, looking disheveled and tired, clearly she had been crying.

"Katsuki?"

"I-I…" Bakugo suddenly lost his voice, forgetting the words he didn't plan on saying.

"Are you ok?" Inko asked, growing worried when she saw the usually proud and boastful Bakugo almost nervous?

"I-grrr! God fucking damnit!" Bakugo turned to leave, only to feel his clothes holding him in place courtesy of Inko.

"I doubt you came here to cuss at me then run away, so please come in, I've cooked up a hotpot but can add some pepper and hot sauce" Inko relaxed her hand, allowing Bakugo's clothes to settle back to normal.

Bakugo turned around, looking at her with such conviction that she felt her heart stop.

He wanted to tell her about all the horrible things he had done to her son, how much of a dick he had been, but all that came out was…

"I...miss him" Bakugo exhaled, tears running down his cheeks.

'fucking failure' he thought to himself as Inko embraced him.

Two days have passed since the USJ incident and Japan was shaken by the unexpected attack on the hero school where the Number One hero taught.

Yet despite that huge event, questions arose regarding the equally unexpected betrayal thattook place during the incident, villains that were known as heartless murderers turning on their allies to protect the students.

These villains were not the kind that would have such a change of heart in the midst of battle, especially the weapon expert Shoku Yasharo, who was known for his diehard loyalty to his group, yet had no problem decapitating them.

And when questioned on their motives, the answers given by Shoku and the villains were strange to say the least.

The interrogations went along the lines of-

"it was the Bright Lord's will"

"And who is the Bright Lord?" The interrogator asked.

"The one we serve"

"Why do you serve the Bright Lord? How long have you served them?"

"We serve the Bright Lord because that's the Bright Lord's will"

Every question was answered roughly the same way, and after 3 grueling hours of interrogation, the police gave up.

With so little information or validity about the Bright Lord's involvement, the information shared with the public was more open to interpretation, stating that a group of villains had a grudge with each other that simply escalated during the incident.

And those of the the public that heard of the Bright Lord were unsure if it was even real, the main theory was there was perhaps a villain with mind control and a grudge that inadvertently saved the students with their actions.

So to the general public, the Bright Lord was just a fairytale.

But to the heroes, the Bright Lord was now the name of the villain who would one day defeat the Symbol Of Peace.

After that unpredictable conclusion to a funeral, Izuku was driven home by his mother, who had a relieved expression on her face, even enjoying a silent chuckle at the memory of Katsuki's reaction to Izuku's return, the boy always had a unique way of expressing himself.

When they got home, Inko found herself mentally and physically exhausted from the last two days. It tended to happen when a loved one came back to life after it was accepted that they would never return.

Sensing his mother's tiredness, Izuku led her to her bed, saying he'd make himself some dinner and that she should rest.

Inko was too tired to refuse, and practically fell asleep the moment her head hit the pillow.

Back in the kitchen, Izuku took an hour to make himself a small simple rice and chicken dish, each bite being surprisingly delightful, but perhaps that was because he hadn't eaten anything in 2 days.

And since it had been two days since he had a shower, naturally that was next on his list of self care chores.

In the shower, Izuku was pleased to see that he had no scars on his body, even the one on his hand was gone.

"Just like new" Izuku inspected his smooth body, happy that it hadn't reverted to his physique from 10 months ago.

"So about the USJ?" the wraith appeared next to Izuku, still dressed in the tattered version of their hero costume, and with how quiet it had been since the funeral, Izuku reacted as one would expect.

"Ahh!" Izuku flinched, slipping and nearly dying again before the wraith caught him, bringing him back upright by the shoulders.

"What have I told you about privacy!" Izuku hissed as he washed the conditioner out of his hair and turned off the shower, holding out his hand for a towel.

"Need I remind you that we are the same person" The wraith pinched its nose while its other hand went to grab a small hand towel.

"Bigger towel!" Izuku barked, careful not to raise his voice too much, drawing a chuckle from the wraith as it then passed the normal sized towel.

"Now, what about the USJ?" Izuku asked as he wrapped the towel around his waist.

"Well you saw how quickly the tide turned in our favour after branding just a handful, perhaps we can use some of those memories to find more" the wraith suggested, a list of addresses in mind as it entertained the thought of having what happened to the villains at the USJ happen all across Japan.

"No" Izuku said plainly as he exited the bathroom and went into his barren room with only a calendar as decoration.

"What? Why not? With our power, we can truly stop what happened to us from happening to everyone else" the wraith complained as Izuku hid around his wardrobe to dry himself.

"At what cost? Do you think the heroes will just let us enslave villains? You think All Might will just stand by?" Izuku asked rhetorically, a stray thought of what his father would think.

"Do you think the villains will ever stop otherwise?" The wraith rebutted.

"...no they won't" Izuku answered mournfully before his gaze steeled.

"And that's why I'll stop them, not as a villain, not as 'The Bright Lord' but as a Hero who can't be killed, can't be stopped" Izuku declared, and even the wraith felt phantom butterflies in its stomach.

"So be it, I won't hide my opinion on the matter, but I will still support you nonetheless" the wraith said before disappearing to do whatever it did in its realm.

"I appreciate it…buddy" Izuku whispered with a soft smile as he sat on his bed.

"Hm?" The wraith popped back into existence.

"Hm?" Izuku answered back, the wraith raising it's brow before disappearing again.

Was it fear that stopped Izuku from listening to the wraith, perhaps, but it was also because Izuku simply didn't have that same anger he was used to, they say revenge doesn't solve anything but Izuku would say otherwise, he felt free now, as if he had finally tore himself from his shackles that bound him to this all encompassing hatred inside.

And as he dreamt, he remembered what it was like to finally claim his revenge, the feeling of the blade in his hand as he thrust it into that bastard's stomach over and over again till his heart radiated in joy, oh how he wished he had eyes to see the expression Chichi had on his face as he realised that it was Izuku that got him in the end.

The wraith stood over Izuku, it meant what it said, it would support him regardless of his choices, but it knew.

Although it may act unlike Izuku, it was still Izuku, it had his memories, his thoughts, his deepest darkest feelings that he thought the wraith didn't know of.

And even if it didn't have any of the previously mentioned traits, it could see that Izuku's soft smile had widened into a malicious grin as he dreamt of his vengeance, a smile that didn't belong on his face at all.

"Achoo!" Chichi sneezed, waking himself up from his rocking chair in front of the TV.

From what he last remembered, he and Shigaraki were playing games, drinking every time they died, and they must've died a lot if even Chichi was knocked out.

"Damn, what a wild dream" he yawned before glancing out the window, finding it was the early hours of the day between 3 and 7am at best.

On the bed next to him was Shigaraki, passed out with his arm still grasping a bottle.

"4 bottles? Proud of ya" Chichi chuckled to himself as he stood, but as he did, the controller that rested on his knee fell.

However with reflexes that should be considered inhuman, Chichi caught it without registering he had, tossing it back on the chair as he grabbed another bottle on his way out.

Things had been pretty wild for Chichi after he busted Shigaraki out of prison, he was given a room to stay in since he was now a fully fledged member of the League and even got rewarded with enough booze to eradicate a species.

Though the ring, boy did he love it.

Chichi slowly made his way down the stairs, the alcohol consumption making the stairs spin.

But he couldn't quite focus on that, because turns out he wasn't the only one awake.

"No service till 11am"

Chichi jumped in fright, losing his balance and falling forward where a portal opened, finding himself stopping himself from going into the counter, where Kurogiri was polishing glasses.

"Oh hey Kurogiri" Chichi gave a wave as he took a seat, grabbing a glass and cloth to polish it for Kurogiri, who didn't expect the ring bearer to possess such a skill.

"Hm?" Chichi noticed his expression, "Oh, my first job was in fine dining, polished enough glasses to never forget the technique" Chichi reminisced, drooling at the memories of eating the leftovers instead of throwing them away.

"You and Tomura have been in that room since you got back" Kurogiri stated disapprovingly as he and Chichi polished glasses in unison.

"Yeah, Shiggy is a bit miffed that his plan failed, but nothing a little hedonism can't solve" Chichi took a swig of his bottle, offering some to Kurogiri who refused.

"Are you sure that's the best thing to do?"

"Works for me when I'm down, but then again that's me…ok, maybe I should talk to him" Chichi figured as he went for a swig, but put the bottle down.

"Good, but perhaps wait till morning…or perhaps tomorrow afternoon" Kurogiri hummed, Chichi squinting his eyes at the statement.

"Oh my, Kurogiri? Did you just attempt to make a joke?" Chichi said with surprise written on his face.

"Perhaps" Kurogiri replied, the two villains sharing a chuckle before Chichi got up.

"Welp, I'm pretty sure the night markets are still open, so I'm going to grab something to munch on if you don't mind being my door?" Chichi asked, a small portal opening on the counter, depositing a phone before disappearing.

"Of course, text your address when you want to return, though are you sure it's a smart move to go out? You did kill a UA student after all"

"You, my friend, have clearly never heard of pika-power" Chichi pointed upwards as he donned the infamous hoodie.

"I'll see if I can grab you something" Chichi said as he went through the portal.

Shigaraki awoke with a headache that he had grown accustomed to by this point, taking a swig to alleviate the symptoms.

Though that didn't stop that gnawing in his stomach.

Sure the League Of Villains had made a name for themselves by breaking into a hero school and killing a student, but that wasn't the damn goal, it was killing the boss!

Shigaraki was glad that Chichi had wrapped a bandage around his finger, otherwise he would've disintegrated the bottle in his annoyance.

He took another swig, feeling the good times doing their things as a smile took over his face.

"Kurogiri!" He shouted, the bartender arriving right away.

"Chichi looking for food?" He assumed correctly as Kurogiri nodded.

"Send me to him" Shigaraki instructed, grabbing his black hoodie as he dragged his boozy ass through the portal.

Annnd right into a bloodbath, bodies filled the place, claw marks on them, indicating who this was.

Someone bumped into him, looking down he saw it was a woman, fear on her face that was quickly replaced with concern.

"Follow me, he'll kill you if he sees you" she grabbed his hand and pulled, only to fail to get him to follow her.

"What are yo-? Let me go" she hissed as he held onto her hand with a blank expression, not moving nor letting her go.

"I'm sorry" he said as he bit his glove, removing it.

"But you really should've just let him kill you" Shigaraki grabbed her shoulder, his quirk doing its thing as she screamed before he ripped off her arm, still holding onto her hand with his gloved one as he hit her across the face.

"You see, he likes blood, me? I like turning people into compost" Shigaraki said as he grabbed her stump, the decay spreading across her body as she screamed. The last thing she saw before the shock took her out was complete blankness in his eyes.

"I guess this is like using your most powerful attack on a mob enemy, it's fun, but not satisfying" Shigaraki chuckled, before he heard another scream and the blood around him began flowing towards it.

Following the noise and the blood, Shigaraki found Chichi gazing at his handiwork while he spoke low in a trance.

"Grish tor ul nazg…slaium tor ul nazg…mat tor ul nazg.." he spoke with an unnatural bass in his voice as blood flowed and mixed around him a single strand of it connected to his finger.

"Chichi?" Shigaraki approached, feeling uneasy when Chichi didn't respond.

"Durub ob grish…snaga u the nazg" he turned to Shigaraki, his eyes glazed over before he blinked rapidly.

"Oh hey Shiggy" Chichi seemed to snap out of it as a smile came on his bloodied face.

"What happened here?"

"It seems I tripped and accidentally slaughtered a whole market, clumsy me" Chichi laughed as he picked up a bag, full of different food that was completely untouched by blood.

Shigaraki couldn't help but feel that something was off, but decided to ignore it in favour of cleaning up, the world thought Chichi was dead and that was Shigaraki's ace, and this bloodbath would make the heroes weary.

"Get rid of the blood, I'll handle the bodies" Shigaraki went to do just that before Chichi stopped him.

"Wait, I have an idea" Chichi raised his hand, the blood flowing into a dead body, then like a puppet it rose.

Shigaraki couldn't believe what he was seeing, he knew Chichi could manipulate the blood within someone's body in order to move their limbs against their will, but a dead body?

"Let's try two?" Chichi split the blood and led it to another body, which rose just the same.

Chichi began to laugh as he waved his hands, the bodies dragging themselves in the same direction.

"Ok, let's see if I could get a dance troupe going" Chichi split the rest of the blood in different directions, though as he tried to raise the rest up, only two more got up, the rest remaining on the ground with only their head raised.

"Come on, just a little bit…more" Chichi flexed his fingers, his breath getting laboured as the heads raised just a little bit more.

"Up up, and…away" Chichi held his hands above his head, the standing bodies rising off the ground as their heads bloated from the blood.

Despite this, no more than four rose, and eventually the heads split open, the blood exiting through as the bodies flopped onto the floor.

"Ohohoho! This is awesome, can we keep them please!" Chichi begged, intending on training this aspect of his quirk.

"Ugh, fine"

When Kurogiri got the call, he first opened a portal into the basement before opening another in front for Chichi and Shigaraki who both carried bags as Chichi whistled.

"Whew, I could get used to this" Chichi laughed, clearly enjoying the benefits of instant travel as he dropped a bag on the counter, taking out some street food for Kurogiri.

"I also got you a little something for your help" he laid the bags on the counter opening them to reveal a whole host of different street food, from sushi to ramen, even a few steam buns.

"I wasn't sure what you liked, so I got you a little bit of everything" Chichi placed his findings on the bar table.

"You…got me this?" Kurogiri asked, looking to Shigaraki who didn't seem to mind. He never received gifts, he usually just ate the bare minimum, never anything with flavour.

"Of course, you deserve something for everything you do, teleporting us everywhere, keeping the place clean, not complaining when I dip into the locked cellar-"

"Wait, you've been doing what?"

"Not important, come on, eat some street food, live a little" Chichi bit into a meat bun, a deep chuckle escaping him, he offered one to Shigaraki who accepted before heading back to bed.

"Dude, you gotta try this! Is that…fried onion?" Chichi then offered Kurogiri a bun, the latter accepting it and putting it into the smoke which shivered with delight.

"Hmm delicious,I haven't had something like this since Hazashi dragged us to Lunch rush's…" Kurogiri stopped, dropping the glass he was polishing, which would've shattered had it not been for Chichi's quick reaction.

"Kurogiri? You good?"

"Hazashi?...Shota?..." Kurogiri suddenly disappeared, Chichi looking around confused until the TV turned on to static.

"Apologies for that, Kurogiri has some memories better left forgotten"

"Memories involving street food? What the fuck occured with that?!" Chichi laughed as he reached over and began polishing the glasses Kurogiri had yet to get to.

"The less known, the better" the voice hummed before asking its own question.

"Now I would like to speak to you about Tomura, I've noticed he has taken on some…undesirable traits since your arrival"

"What do you mean? He seems like he's having a a blast" Chichi stopped polishing the glasses and swung round and leaned on the bar counter.

"Well I suggest you stop influencing this behaviour, or else" the TV said with menacing overtones that Chichi either didn't notice or simply didn't care.

"Look mate, you may be Shigaraki's boss, but that doesn't mean you're mine" Chichi swung back to the bar, his back at the TV, opting to polish the glasses Kurogiri had yet to get to.

"Well then, I'll be taking back that ring"

"No you won't" Chichi stated, not bothering to turn around this time.

"Because if you want MY ring, you're gonna need to crawl out of that life support system and come get it yourself" Chichi turned his head and smirked, knowingly leaving himself open to any attacks that could've come.

However, only a chuckle was heard in response before the TV turned off, leaving Chichi smirking.

"Oh…it's 11am, and no one to tend to the bar…" Chichi smiled, poking his fingertip to get a rope of blood that he used to turn on the "open" sign.

"Might as well add to my resume, I'll talk to Shiggy later"

That morning Izuku woke up a little later than usual, his mother was already at work, and with nothing to do, Izuku jumped on the couch, surfing the news, until the usual occured.

"Izuku, we have to test"

"God…damnit, can I have one day off?" Izuku huffed as he got up.

"You've had two days, stop being lazy" the wraith replied as Izuku changed into some workout clothes and grabbed a hoodie in case it got cold.

He messaged his mother, telling her he'd be at the beach before going out to jog.

At some point he found himself at a stoplight, where those around him could feel a pleasant aura surrounding him.

He smiled when a kid began running around the other pedestrians laughing while their mother tried to both control him and hold onto her purple bike, nervous and charmingly jittery.

However that child quickly lost their footing, falling out towards the street and meeting a quickly approaching car.

Yet as the car rushed past, the kid found himself safe, and back with the surprised pedestrians.

"I recommend you watch yourself" said a green ghost that stood next to the green haired kid who looked down with a smile, which quickly turned to concern.

Despite its mummified appearance, the child had this look of amazement on their face as they reached out to touch the ghost, the hand passing through the apparition.

The mother naturally let go of her bike to drop to her knees as she embraced her child in a tight hug while scolding them, she looked up to her son's saviour and her face went white.

Green eyes, glowing with judgement as they looked right through her, into her very soul, flickering fury was all she felt.

And just like that she knew that the teen saw what hid below the child's baggy shirt.

Suddenly it was just her and those eyes, everyone else was gone and the world was swallowed by a malicious fog.

"Tell me, why does your child have bruises all up his back?" The teen stood over her, the pleasant presence being swallowed up by this new, ominous one that froze her where she knelt.

"H-he tripped, he has my c-clumsiness" she lied and immediately she knew he didn't believe her.

"Help…someone" she looked for anyone around her unsuccessfully as she whimpered, knowing what could happen if her husband found out about this.

"Your husband did this? Why do you not report him?" Izuku asked as the mother lost her breath, was he in her head?

"B-because I love him, it was an accident, he just gets a little stressed sometimes" she answered, and just like that she was back in the real world, looking up at the shocked expression of the teen.

"That's your excuse?" Izuku asked, baffled by the unexpected response.

Before he could do anything, she suddenly began screaming and pleading for help, the pedestrians and those nearby looking to Izuku as they approached him.

"Screaming for help to avoid interrogation, she's smart, Izuku let's get out of here" the wraith instructed as Izuku hesitantly crossed the street, and turned the corner.

It was then he saw a hero in red walking by with a satisfied grin.

"Haa, 5 years and here I am, patrolling the streets, just like my brother's friend's dad's cousin" he sighed, before a tap on the shoulder brought his attention to the kid behind him.

"Hi, I would like to report a crim-

"A CRIME! BY THE SUN, TELL ME WHAT HAS BEEN DONE?!" The hero yelled, causing Izuku to blank for a moment.

"Must be related to Tenya" the wraith said, snapping Izuku out of his daze.

"U- yeah, I saw a kid with bruises on his back because his father, I questioned the mother, but she refused to report him" Izuku explained as the hero's face fell with each word.

"Oh my…what a total waste of time" the hero declared before walking away.

"Wait, what are you talking about?".

"No one would care if I save a kid from an abusive parent, that's more of a newbie job, I need to be available for the big things, robberies, trigger incidents, you know? The important stuff" the hero lost their enthusiasm before regaining it as he entered a store.

"Hey! Wait" Izuku called after him, following him into the store.

"Hey the Main Man: AwesomeMan" the clerk held up his hand, getting a high five from the hero.

"Hey, wazzup my favourite gossip, what's in the news today"

"The usual, King Kardashian got another girl pregnant, she's gonna be loaded for the rest of her life"

"Again? I swear that Kardashian family is going to get their own country at this point" AwesomeMan laughed, patrolling the aisles, ignoring Izuku and grabbing a bottle of water and some ramen that he gave to the clerk to heat up.

"Excuse me! There's a child out there who has bruises on his back and the mother is protecting his abuser!" Izuku raised his voice, feeling that old anger and frustration as the clerk and hero looked at him.

"Oh ok, do you have any evidence besides baseless allegations?" The hero asked, annoyed.

"The mother tol-

"Oh she told you? Well did you catch that on tape? Do you think she'll be willing to report the father? Do you have any tangible evidence that can give me probable cause for investigation?" The hero put on a show for the clerk, and at the same time shut Izuku up.

This hero was many things, but he wasn't wrong, Izuku had nothing to support his claims.

"Exactly, if I just arrest someone and I have no evidence nor witnesses to the crime, I could lose my licence" the hero looked down at Izuku, whose eyes dimmed.

"Now leave me alone kid, play video games instead of playing hero" he said as he grabbed his ramen and left the store.

"So…we have a two for one sale going on for chocolate oranges" The clerk spoke up, trying to cut through the thick tension that filled the store.

Izuku looked at him, sighing as he went to leave, but just as he went to pull the door open, it was pushed roughly, smacking him across the face and knocking him to the ground.

Three men barged in with different coloured masks, the clerk ducked as a spike hit the camera above him.

The spike came from the palm of the man in the grey ski mask who aimed his hand like a gun, a spike with a heavy calcium texture growing out of his palm.

"All the money in the bag now!" Grey shouted while the rest grabbed some of the snacks, meanwhile the clerk hurriedly grabbed the key to the register.

"Hey look, broccoli! Is that a natural hair colour?" The red robber called the other with the blue ski mask over, laughing as he lifted Izuku up by his hair, Izuku kicked him to no effect other than making the others laugh.

"Where is AwesomeMan? He literally just left" the clerk said before a spike was pointed at him, indicating he hurry up and give the robber the contents of the register.

The next thing Izuku knew, he was on the floor, the side of his face aching as the red one stood over him still laughing.

"Still got the right hook that made me granpappa proud" the red one put his boot on Izuku's face, mimicking a victory pose.

"What the hell is this? Where's the rest?" The grey robber picked up the measly amount of money.

"That's all we have, why you didn't come at a later time is a mystery, but this is all we have, the kid is like the 9th customer today" the clerk muttered under his breath as he turned the register, showing the robber that there truly wasn't anything else.

With nothing left to take from the register, the grey robber slammed the clerk's head onto the counter, knocking him out before turning to Izuku.

"Alright green bean, your turn, empty your pockets"

However, he didn't see any indication of fear on the kid's face as he replied.

I...don't have anything" Izuku grunted, Red's shoe grinding his face.

Izuku tried to fight back, but he couldn't move under Red's weight and any time he did the boot got heavier.

"Where is that hero?" The wraith checked outside, seeing that the hero was in shouting distance and had completely missed the criminals.

"Hey! There's a robbery happening here" The wraith shouted, the hero turning back before pointing at his watch.

"Sorry there's a house fire down the road! No worries I called for backup, they should be here in a bit, good luck" he replied before running off.

"Are you kidding me?" The wraith growled, its anger making it glow brighter as it turned to the store, looking through the walls and to Izuku.

Izuku struggled as the Blue masked searched his pockets, taking out his phone and whistling when he turned it on, seeing a picture of Izuku and his parents, all smiling goofily.

"Hey guys check out this kid's mom, she's smoking" they all crowded, Red's foot digging into Izuku as he leaned in.

"Damn, I would love to wrap my hands around her neck while I pull her hair, she looks like she's into that shit, shame she has this bitch for a husband"

And SNAP!

Izuku violently jerked his head back, his skin ripping against the heavy boot, unbalancing Red enough that Izuku was able to activate burst speed and get up, grabbing his ankles and yanking them back, causing Red to fall forward.

The wraith manifested in front of Grey grabbing the boiled kettle and smacking him across the face before throwing the hot water at Blue and dashing just in time to grab the falling red masked man by the head, driving him into the ground, the enhanced momentum cracking the floor, plus Red's nose.

As Blue screamed, Izuku jumped onto Red's head, using it like a spring to launch himself at Blue, elbowing him in the nose before he jumped again, this time driving a wraith infused knee into his stomach twice, causing him to fall to his knees with vomit pouring out of his mouth.

Izuku made a fist with his middle finger slightly raised and pointed and drove it into Blue's eye, revelling in the scream of pain.

Grey recovered from the kettle attack, seeing that the not so defenceless kid was able to take out his allies in the short time he was out.

"My dad was a better man than all of you combined" Izuku turned his head to Grey, seeing the sheer terror and confusion on their face as they hurriedly aimed their shaking arm at him.

What he didn't know was the reason for the terror, which was the fact that half his body was burning brighter than a fire, a wispy and tattered cloak flowing behind him as his glowing green eyes left nowhere to hide.

Before Grey could even think of firing, Izuku shot forward, throwing darts as he closed the distance while dodging the few panicked shots that Grey managed.

The darts may have not done much physical damage, but Izuku quickly solved that by grabbing Grey's head, and driving it into the glass counter, cracking it before he dragged it across the sharp edges of the splintered glass, before pulling his hair back, forcing him to gaze into the green flames of fury before a heavy fist slammed into his face, knocking him out.

Now Izuku stood, breathing heavily as he reigned in his rage, though nothing seemed to calm him down, in fact, his breathing wasn't due to his rage.

He was having a panic attack.

Memories of his father came flooding back, the store being attacked, the look in his father's eyes as his throat was ripped open.

He remembers the reason they went to that store, because Izuku wanted to give Kacchan a limited edition All Might figurine for his birthday.

Izuku couldn't breath, falling to his knees as his heart thumped painfully against his chest.

Suddenly he was pulled back by a very angry red, who pulled out one of Grey's spikes from the wall and tried to stab Izuku with it.

Tears formed in his eyes as he felt hatred rising from his stomach, those damn heroes should've done something, he should've done something.

Panic became hatred, hatred became anger, anger grew into rage and rage consumed all.

Izuku shouted as he took the spike through the palm, the wraith kicking Red like a football before Izuku dragged himself onto him and began punching with psychotic rage.

"Die"

Izuku lost all mercy as he laid into Red's face, knocking out teeth and cracking bones, red tried to grab him but Izuku grasped his hand, bending it till his palm touched his forearm, He shoved off his wraith's attempts to stop him and forgot all about his heroism, only wanting to unleash his anger.

"Die"

Izuku then raised his hand, ripping out the spike in it with clear intent to give it a new home in red's face.

"DIE!"

Suddenly Izuku caught himself in a reflection, his rage filled face was splattered with blood, eyes bloodshot and narrowed into pinpricks.

He didn't like what he saw and when he looked down, he saw a mess that was unrecognisable.

With blood dripping from his fist, Izuku got up and left the store, putting on his hoodie then to hide his face.

"What the hell was that?" The wraith appeared, shock clearly on its face.

"Shut up! Just shut the fuck up for once!" Izuku shouted, the few people on the same path crossing the road to avoid the hooded kid shouting at no one.

He eventually found himself at the beach, he didn't understand why he lost control, it had been so long since he had an attack like that, he thought he had moved past this.

Whatever that was, he would have to avoid letting that happen ever again, because that face scared him, it reminded him of the villains that attacked the USJ, bloodlust was easy to spot when you knew what to look for.

"Wraith, forget everything that happened, let's test" Izuku turned to his right, the wraith appearing.

"As you wish, but if you lose control like that again, you may go somewhere that you cannot come back from" the wraith warned before the two started training for what must have been the whole day.

"We also need to do something about your hand, and I don't think you're going to like it" the wraith indicated to Izuku's bloodied hand, the injury in the same place as his scar used to be.

"Oh don't tell me" Izuku checked his hand, seeing the spike got him in the exact same place as the scar that just healed.

"Oh you gotta be joking…" Izuku growled as he traced the wound on his outstretched hand.

"So rooftop again?" The wraith suggested.

"Nah, here's good, just give me a moment to search up the quickest way"

He looked at his hand, the new scar would draw questions, but fortunately or unfortunately there was a way to get rid of it.

"Are you sure I'm going to come back?" Izuku asked the wraith as he found a shard of glass nearby.

"Most likely, if you can come back from your previous deaths, this should be fine, should be the usual half hour" the wraith explained as Izuku pointed the shard at his heart.

"This is going to suck" Izuku took a breath and then…

And then…

"I can't do it" Izuku dropped the shard onto the sand, immortal or not, death is no picnic.

"Well I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me" the wraith gave a surprise push and Izuku stabbed himself in the neck

"You…bas-" and Izuku had died for the 4th time.

Shoto Todoroki wasn't known to be an expressive person, that much was clear, he didn't go to Izuku's funeral not because he didn't respect the dead, but rather he didn't know him enough to justify making an appearance.

So when he saw that the classmate who died was at school, he reacted…rather expectedly.

"..." He raised his eyebrow in interest, then walked to his desk and took out his books, truly out of character.

Shoto wasn't as affected by his experience at the USJ, but he was affected by something.

Bakugo. Forcing him to use his fire, that was what affected Todoroki, he felt anger at Bakugo for his uncaring actions, he would show him as well, that he could be a hero without his fire.

Ahh it's done, I had to force myself to finish this chapter so I can only imagine how the next chapter is going to go.

Anyway something I want to ask is, obviously eventually Izuku is going to get a sword, but with the Japanese setting, should I give him a katana type weapon?

It's a similar story when I think of the mask, in sow, you get those nazgul masks, I was thinking of incorporating some Japanese design.

Anyway let me know your thoughts and I'll try to get the next chapter out, though this chapter may have parts rewritten, but I just want to get it out so I can focus on the next one cause it's seriously getting annoying having work unfinished.
