"The lights are so pretty around this year." Ace said as they walked slowly around the neighborhood. Luckily, it wasn't cold out and they were able to go around looking at the lights, just like they did for every other year. As their house came into view, they noticed two additional vehicles in the yard. "Oh, look love, Marcy and Austin are over" He smiled at Marco.
"They came to visit for Christmas Eve" Marco smiled as he squeezed Ace's hand. "Let's not keep them waiting " while their kids visited them often, it mostly wasn't on the actual day itself, them spending it with their own family, so this was already a lovely surprise
When they got to the door and opened it the smell of a wonderful meal being made, a Christmas movie being played on the TV with three kids sitting down watching it. Two teenagers were talking with two adults one with a baby and two adults in the kitchen. The lights on their Christmas tree were on and everything. Marcy took notice of her parents entering the house and smiled and rushed over to them.
"Daddy, papa!" She hugged the stunned parents close, "merry Christmas! We hope you're hungry, we prepped a lot! And hope you don't mind us barging in either"
Ace smiled with moist eyes, "You know are door is always opened." Marco nodded in agreement they took their hand, gloves, scarf and mitts off and Marcy put them away. The kids stayed where they were until their grandparents entered the room and Eddie their only granddaughter bolted over to them, "Grandpa Ace! Grandpa Marco!" She smiled, "Edward let them sit down first" Marcy scolded and went back to the kitchen with her brother to go on cooking. Pouting Eddie walked over to the couch and took a seat. Ace's eyes widen when he saw his couch was out in the living room too.
Ken chuckled at the look. "Carried it out with Austin for some extra seating" Nodding slowly Ace continued his walk to the couch sitting next to Eddie who smiled and quickly crawled in his lap. Marco who sat next to him also didn't have empty legs for long as Austin's two youngest boys came running over to fight fir the spot
Marco laughed, "boys grandpa has two knees, one for each of you" Marcy and Austin smiled as they worked from the kitchen. Looking at each other, this was going to be the best Christmas ever, beating out their Disney trip they took as kids. "Grandpa! We're staying for Christmas!" Eddie cheered
Ace laughed, "well yea! You're already here!" "Noooo! Sleeping too grandpa! I wanna sleep with you, can I? Plleeaaassseeeeee?"
Ace laughed and kissed her head, "I'm sorry sweetie but grandpa sleeps with me and we don't have any room. I'm pretty sure your mom has already ironed all the details out of where everyone is going to be sleeping."
He loved his granddaughter, but the new bed didn't have room for anyone else
Ace kept in a chuckle as she pouted and started to carers her hairs. Her soft strawberry blond locks. He never thought he would see them again after Marcy lost hers, yet her granddaughter really inherited his mother's genes, even had freckles. He smiled and kissed the hairs as he kept stroking them. Marco in the meanwhile was juggling the two boys on his knees while they were excitedly telling him about who knows what. He was barely able to follow it was about their ... Ehm ... Something of a game.
"Alright dinner is just about go upstairs and wash your hands," Austin called, "Eddie don't you push your cousins!" Marcy called out as the three youngest ran out of the room and upstairs. Marco and Ace laughed, as the kids ran off. Sitting down at the table as a big family was wonderful. "Daddy, Papa we put Santa gifts in your room for the time being then when the kids go to bed, we'll bring them out" Marcy said quietly not wanting the young kids to hear upstairs.
Ace nodded to it and Marco spoke, "You're really staying? Everyone?"
Marcy nodded, along with Austin, "yea. Hope that's alright. We kind... started planning this when you two moved downstairs... we were setting the kids up in your old room, while we take our old rooms and Nick and Ella take the nursery."
"What about Cody?" Ace asked tilting his head to the side, looking to his grandson. "I'm child supervisor. I make sure they don't try and sneak downstairs" He spook proudly
"We don't mind at all" Marco smiled softly, "I'm so happy you all came over a-and now you're all e-even sleeping over" he paused a moment to take a breath, "spending the whole- the whole Christmas here. It's b-been so long since there was this big of a gathering at Christmas" Austin went over and pulled Marco into a hug while Nancy and Ken set the table.
Marco hugged his boy back, able to bury his head in his shoulders as Austin had grown to be taller than him. "We'll be here the whole day tomorrow Pa, no getting rid of us" he said softly as he rubbed the elders back. Ace gave Marco his own little alone time as he got up to go to Nancy and Ken, "anything you need help with?"
"Not at you just relax, we got it taken care of." Nancy said as she set a turkey. Once the kids came down and took their seats the adults made plates up for the younger kids and Austin did plates up for their parents before setting them on the table Cody got his own plate along with his cousins before taking a seat.
Ace took a piece of turkey and covered it un gravy before eating it, humming in delight, "it's so good! And here we had planned just calling for take-out or rummaging through our freezer"
Marcy and Austin laughed, "we can do pizza tomorrow!" Cody declared smiling, and everyone laughed and talked and joked, until Ace's body slowly went limp, and his face landed into his plate of food.
"Aaaaah he's dead!!!!" Jay called as he jumped up, Leo following not long later running over to shake Ace, "Grandpaaaaaaaaaaa!" Eddie herself got up silently, reaching into the pocket of her little dress and pulling out a marker, uncapping it as she slowly inched closer to her sleeping grandpa
"Edward! Don't you dare mark on Grandpa's face" Marcy said sternly. Marco chuckled and helped Ace sit up while Austin went to get a cloth, "Jay! Leo! Sit down! Grandpa is just fine!" Nancy scolded her sons.
"But moooom!" All three kids whined in union, all to be met with a look. Jay and Leo both calmy sitting down, watching Austin clean up Ace's face and re-do his plate that it still looked good. Edward was grumbling lightly as she begrudgingly handed the marker over to Marcy and going to het seat
Marcy stood up and went to put the marker away and took her seat once more. Marco kissed Ace's head as he had him resting on his shoulder. Nick and Cody both seemed unbothered by him suddenly falling asleep, so the teens continued their conversation about some games and streamers, even bring up Firefist, their amazing grandpa.
5 minutes later, Ace stirred. Marco helped him sit up, giving him back his utensils to hold and kissed his cheek. "Thanks Mar" Ace smiles lightly as he continued his food as if nothing happened
"Of course, darling" Marco responded lovingly to his husband as they went on eating. "Mama... why do I have strawberry blond hair, Nick got brown hair and you and daddy got black hair?" Eddie asked from her spot at the table.
"I actually had the same color as you when I was born" Marcy said. "Dad probably has a million pics" Marcy ignored the whispered mom from Ace, Marco already squeezing his hand. "You look a lot like your great grandmother, she had your hair color and freckles too." She hummed, "I got my hair color from Grandpa Ace, Ken from Granny, and nick hmm" Ken hummed too, "could be both"
"Could be... Yeap," Marcy smiled, "my mom has brown hair, and Ken's dad too. So that's why nick got brown."
"And then there's genetic mutations and you can get every colour." Marcy rolled her eyes, "thanks Papa"
"Anytime sweetie" Marco smiled as he took a drink of his water. They went on talking, and once everyone was done Cody and Nick stood up Nick handing Ella to Marcy. "You all go sit down and relax, Cody and I will do the cleanup," he looked to his sister and cousins, "I've set up one of my gaming systems up, in Gramps' old room so go play" they didn't have to be told twice and the kids were running out of the room and up the stairs Jay calling dibs on first player.
"Thank you, boys," Nancy said smiling and the adults got up from the table Austin helping Marco up and the older couple walked to Ace's couch while the others sat on the other couch. Leaving the teens to fully be able to clear the table put leftovers away and do the dishes.
They watched Ace sit on Marcos's lap, because of course he would. "It's okay if you two wanna take a small nap" Austin said, "the kids should be quiet for a bit now."
"I think that sounds like a wonderful idea." Marco hummed and put his arms around Ace's waist, and within minutes they were both asleep.
"This is going to a great Christmas for your parents" Nancy said looking to Austin then the Marcy, "they are wonderful people who deserve all the best" and Ken nodded his head in agreement.
Both Austin and Marcy nodded as they watched their parents nap together. Even in their sleep they never let go each other. They were happy and so lucky both their parents were such good people. They indeed hoped if they could make this one of the best Christmases for them all.
They sat and chatted and played pass the baby until she needed changing. Nick came over and scooped her up and kissed her head. "Let's get you all fresh!" He smiled and went upstairs with his daughter.
"He's doing an amazing job raising her" Nancy smiled as she watched nephew care for his daughter. "He is. He even asked about moving into the in-law suite we have that way Ella wouldn't be disturbing us" Marcy said smiling at after her son. "He even took the mother to court too. She wants nothing to do with her, so she has waived all her parental rights. And she or her family attempts to make any contact with her she will receive a fine"
Austin and Nancy nodded, "He just graduated school did he not? He wanted to go to college and everything."
"He did but he chose raising Ella over going. He's going to continue to work on dad's channel. It's amazing how many people are still watching his videos. He had a comment come in the other day from when I was a baby saying that the game, he was playing was one of his dad favorite games and he's been playing it" Marcy laughed
"It's really wonder how it indeed still stands through all these years. Ace really gathered a good community" Nick came back in the room. Happy Ella in his arms, "they even asked last week if grandpa Ace and Marco would come back for a stream!" He laughed having heard the last of the conversation.
"I'm sure they would love that darling" Ken said smiling to his wife
"He even copies grandpa Ace and as Ella on him when she won't sleep. You know how often I get a notification in the dead of night of a random stream? Several but I'm pretty sure she likes the heartbeat sound. I heard babies like that."
"Well, it must run in the family then" Marcy laughed, "I slept on Grandpa Ace chest all the time when I was a baby"
"I like it," Nick said softly, caressing Ella's hairs and giving a kiss, "it's comforting when she's close and calm" he smiled as he sat down on the couch next to his grandparents, careful not to wake them. By a miracle it was Ace who woke up first, bringing up his hands to rub in his eyes before opening them. Smiling instantly when he saw clearly because before him was the cutest baby. "Hi baby" he giggled softly, reaching out a hand to ruffle soft hairs, "good baby"
Nick smiled, as Ella drooled. "She likes her great grandpa"
"I like you too little one" Ace cooed before raising his hand to also ruffled Nick's hair, "and I love my handsome grandson too!"
Nick laughed and smiled at his grandfather, "People love seeing her on stream"
Ace rolled his eyes but still smiles, "I guess that will never change. People adore Marcy too, even if all she did was drool and poo"
Nick laughed, "I mean she's adorable to look at, Eddie comes in every so often too"
At the mention of Eddie Ace looked around, "Where is she? And Leo and Jay?"
"Nick sent them upstairs to play video games on his system he brought to keep them busy so they wouldn't wake you up" Ken said looking to his in-laws. "That was really nice of you Nick" Came Marco's sleepily voice.
"Marrrr! Evening~!" Ace smiled, wrapping arms around Marco's torso and nuzzling into his barely awake husband. "No problem grampa" Nick blushed lightly
Marco smiled at his husband. "Oh Papa, Daddy, I got us pjs" Marcy said Ace gasped. "They matching?" Marco asked. Marcy nodded, and Ace looked over the moon. "Everyone has a pair to match" Nancy said smiling. "The two of us went shopping and managed to get our hands on sizes for everyone." Ace looked so excited. He loved matching with his family. This was going to be an amazing Christmas!
Ace was squeezing Marco like no tomorrow, kicking legs on his lap, "Matching outfits, and with everyone!!! Aaaaah I'm so excited! We need to take pictures!! So many pic- my tripod, camera too! It was in the gaming room, did you guys keep it?" Ace looked between his kids, "need it to take pictures"
The other adults laughed at his excitement smiling. "Don't worry daddy we didn't throw it out. Anything special we placed up in our rooms" Marcy said gently and stood up with Nancy. "Grandpa Ace you want you hold Ella for the family photos?" Nick asked looking at Ace. "Or you both can holder her on your laps together"
"I- I" he wanted to hold her so badly! He squealed Marco making him chuckled. "No need for just one picture, right? We can have some where you hold her, and I do right?" He kissed ace's cheeks as he turned to nick
Nick chuckled, "You know mom is going good to take at least 1000 photos"
"Not a 1000" She rolled her eyes, "Maybe hundreds but not a thousand"
"See?" Marco smiled, "So love, wanna hold Ella?" Ace nodded furiously, "Please! Does-is- is Ella gonna match with us too in pj's??"
Nick laughed and nodded, "Yup mom got her a cute little onesie." Marcy got up and went upstairs to get the pj's.
Ace wiggled in Marcos lap, vibrating with excitement as he laughed and started to rub his cheek against his hubby. "Our family is the best Marco! Gonne be so cute. We gonna frame them all, fill the walls with pictures! You don't mind right Marr???"
Marco laughed and nodded, "Yes fill all the walls I want pictures of my kids and grandkids and of course this cutie here" He reached over and gently bopped Ella's nose, "and this handsome man" and bopped Ace's nose.
As if they were the same person, both Ella and Ace burst into giggles. Ace burying his head in Marco's neck as he did.
Marco smiled and kissed Ace on the head. Austin had ran off upstairs to grab something while Marcy came back down with two bags and carried them into the living room and started to hand out the pj's.
Eagerly Ace accepted their pairs, "Thank youuuu!" He smiled as he looked at the pj's, folding one open a bit, "oh little reindeer Mar, that's so cute!" He carefully got off Marco's lap, put the pj's down in favor of holding Marco's hands to pull him up. "let's get them on Mar!"
Marco smiled and took his hand and standing up and the two made their way to their bedroom to change. They helped each other get changed. Smiling at one an other as the finished. Both has tears forming in their eyes. "I-I" Ace swallowed "We get to have a full family Christmas... with matching PJs and all" "This is going to be our very best Christmas in a long time" Marco agreed. After several minutes they exited the room to find that everyone was down stairs all wearing the same pj's. The tripod was set up and all.
"Awwww Daddy, Papa, don't cry!!" Marcy awed and together with Austin went over to hug them close.
"We've set everything up" Austin smiled, "empty memory card ready to be filled up."
Hugging their kids they smiled, "It's been a long time since we had a large family Christmas. Since Pops passed away getting everyone together had been hard." Marco said softly. "So having our family all gathered together is a great feeling." Sniffing and gently rubbed his eyes, "and grandpa would be so happy to see you with your family like this" Marcy said gently, as Marco took Ace hand as their kids lead them to the couch where they took their seats.
Nancy directing everyone where to sit, Nick gave Ace Ella and Marcy took seat next to Ace while Austin sat on the arm rest next to Marco. Jay and Leo sat at Marco's legs and in front of their dad while Nick and Cody stood behind the couch, Cody behind his dad and Nick behind his mom, Ken went and stood next to Marcy. Once everyone was in place Nancy angled the camera just right and set the timer before going and standing next to Austin
They took a few pictures together, Ella, Jay and Leo switching between grandparents. They also made some separate pictures of the individual ... Ending with everyone leaving the frame and just leaving Marco and Ace to their confusion. "Some private shots" Austin said gently. To what both smiled, an ew sound however came from behind, "Are Grandpas gonna kiss????"
"All adults always kissing" Leo agreed with his brother
"Nothing wrong with kisses" Nancy said and bent down and gave both of her boys a kiss and went back to working the camera to get the best shots. Austin was lucky he scored a photographer for a wife.
Even after the pictures where done. Ace couldn't stop kissing Marcos cheeks, temples, nose, hairs, everywhere he could reach. He literally kept it up until he couldn't anymore and fell asleep. Austin chuckled and walked next to them, "You good Pa? Or want me to take him for a bit? I promise I won't steal all the kisses"
Marco laughed, "Maybe for a bit. I'd like to get some of those baby cuddles myself"
Austin laughed at that and nodded, gently picking up his dad and going to the other couch. As he sat down with his own old man in his lap, he saw nick already giving Ella to Marco. "Here you go! Your personal baby. She's a trained cuddler," he smiled, "and she just changed, so you should be safe for a bit"
Marco chuckled and gently took his great granddaughter in his arms. Never in a million years did he think he would have such a big family to call his own. He lent down and kissed Ella's head.
With big eyes Ella followed the movement around her, watching as she was settled somewhere else. The gray hair coloured person making her smile. She started reaching for the shiny object, trying to grab it as she waved around.
Marco laughed and moved his head back, "Great Grampa needs those to see you cutie!" the other kids had taken off once again to play games. Nancy had taken the camera and sat floor and took several photos of Marco holding Ella.
The little girl tried for s bit longer before in the end giving up and snuggling with a small teddy Nick had reached out as a peace offering for the lost battle.
Marco adjusted his arms and snuggled with the baby. He'd enjoy all these baby cuddles for as long as he could.
While the kids were running around, the other adults had started talking again as they got out a few drinks. Austin was lightly rubbing Ace's back. Maybe it was weird for some to have your dad on your lap. But he would do anything for him if it made him happy. Having him in his lap was the very least he could do in return for the home they had given him.
Marcy had poured a few glasses of wine Nancy kindly rejecting hers and handing one to her husband and set one aside for her brother for after.
Austin lightly stroked Ace's hair as he felt him moving, melting into the touch. He couldn't hold in a small laugh as Ace looked up and stopped, tilting his head in confusion as he blinked. "Morning dad" he smiled, "or maybe evening haha"
"Evening?" Ace questioned rubbing his eyes blinking. "Yes, and nearly bedtime for the kids. They won't be able to sleep right."
"Papa," Marcy looked to Marco, "Well you read a Christmas story for us and the kids?"
Before Marco even had time to think gasps where hears before Marco was surrounded.
"Story!"
"Grandpa pleassssseeeee!"
"Your stories are so cool!"
The kids jumped around him, touching his legs, probably only not jumping on him because he held the baby, and they knew to be careful. Ace smiled softly at the sight and instead of trying to find his way back to Marco's lap, he would let the kids get their turn and instead got comfortable on Austin's lap as he rested against him.
Austin made sure his dad was comfortable, while the kids including Cody and Nick sat at Marco's feet to listen, Nick pulling his sister into his lap and Cody pulled his younger brothers on to his.
Marco smiled as he told a story from pure memory. Everyone, including kids and adults listened silently, the kids asking questions every now and then as Marco went on. Internally smiling so bright. This really is the best Christmas in so long!
Soon the story was over, and the younger kids were sent to bed and Nick took Ella for her last feeding before bed. Cody went up to put on a Santa tracker and told the kids they had to be asleep, or Santa won't come.
After the kids were gone, Marco took a moment to go to the bathroom before sitting down and opening his arms with a gentle smile. He had been feeling Ace's eyes on him the moment he had walked back into the room.
Chuckling Austin unwrapped his arms and Ace stood up and made his way over to Marco and took his place in his lap once more. Nick and Cody soon came down to join the adults, "I placed a bell on the outside of the door in case they try and come down stairs." As Nick had started to set up a board game.
Ace happily snuggled back into Marco before watching Nick set up. "Oh, I got snacks!" Ace suddenly exclaimed, "for in the oven." He brought his fingers together "they're all like tiny treats. Like sausage roll, pizza, ... But fancy! They're in the freezer, only need 10 minutes in the oven" he hummed, "should have enough for everyone. Do you guys want them? I'll make them"
"Oooo snack sound great!" Cody said excitedly, "I'll get them grandpa!" And stood up and rushed to get the stuff ready.
"Oh... Thanks..." Ace plopped back down watching Cody run off, "We're being pampered... Don't even need to move"
"Papa, daddy would you like a drink?" Marcy asked as she gave her brother a glass of wine.
Marco nodded while Ace fidgeted, "Do you have-" he gasped and smiled with a happy nod seeing Marcy already holding up a different bottle. Strawberry non-alcoholic wine like his mom used to like.
"Thank you" he smiled when he got the glass, Marco thanking you as he got his.
By the time Nick was done explaining the rules of the game, Cody was coming around with a tray, "treats all done!"
Cody and Nick had pop while the adult enjoyed their wine and Nancy had water. They sat and played and ate till it was nearly 11. "I'm going to get the gifts." Marcy said standing up and Ken stood up with her to help along with Nancy. "Are you two alright if we wanted to extend our stay until the 26th? The kids love spending time with you" Austin asked looking at his parents, as the others left, and Nick and Cody went up stairs to get other gifts.
Marco gave Ace a brief kiss as the raven's eyes just got moist as a reaction, rubbing his back. "Of course that's okay" Marco smiled, "more then okay even. We're already so happy you alll came today and already staying over. Staying an extra day is years' worth of gifts in one go"
Austin smiled and went to help bring all the Santa gifts out. Ace couldn't believe his eyes as he watched as they just kept coming. Once at had a few gifts under the tree grew to piles and piles. And Nick and Cody each came down with two gaint bags. "So many gifts" Ace whispered, and looked at his husband, "where did we put the ones for the kids again?" He whispered to Marco
"Laundry room" Marco kissed his cheek, "I'll get them before we go to bed love" Marcy and Austin both smiled, "Yeap! And there's some for you two too in here!"
The elders stared at there kids lovingly. They were so incredibly kind. The gifts were all scattered around the tree and Nick had Cody had gone up to get two more bags of gifts and brought them down, while Nick helped his mom mix the gifts up.
When the gifts were all put, Austin even grabbing theirs from the laundry room, Ace snapped a few pics of their filled tree with his phone. They talked for a bit more untill eventually Marco spoke up, "I think we're going to head to bed if none of you mind" he fears Ace won't make it to the bed if he waist any longer. The weight leaning on him having been slowly increasing the past few minutes.
"Here Pa let me put dad to bed" Austin said standing up, Marcy stood up and went to their bedroom and turned down the sheets, and put the heat on Marco's side, before rejoing the group.
"Thank you, son," Marco let go of his sleepy husband as Austin picked him up. Ace slowly blinked at being moved, murmuring a thanks as he noticed it was Austin moving him. Marco stayed awake for maybe another half hour before heading to bed himself, wishing a goodnight and telling them their free to raid their fridge or whatever before closing the door and stepping into his oh so warm bed, falling asleep thanks to the comfort in seconds.
Nick and Cody went to bed at the same time as Marco leaving Austin, Ken, Marcy, and Nancy to finish up with the socks and went to make sure they had everything for breakfast for the morning. Soon going to bed themselves and wish each other a good night.
Marco woke up to not only a lovely smell of food, but also too a obvious wet spot on his side. "... How can you still drool this much" he shook his head as he patted raven locks, "I thought spit production decreased with age."
Ace gave a snore. A light knock came on the door and Marcy poked her head in, "It's 6:30, Austin and Ken are making breakfast. Eddie, Leo, and Jay are upstairs with Nick and Cody they've been up since 5. Ella is down here with us, she's admiring the tree."
"Alright, I'll be there in a minute" Marco whispered. He carefully extracted himself from Ace, lightly padding the wetspot... It will dry. He got on a bathrobe he got last year from hid kids, covered in pineapples before walking into the living room, greeting everyone with good mornings. He walked to the tree, turning on the fairy lights in it and watching the baby get stunned before laughing. With a smile he went to sit at the table where a cup of coffee sat ready, "Ace will probably wake up by 7 if we let him sleep."
Marcy nodded and gave him a hug and kissed his cheek, "Merry Christmas Papa"
Marco blinked before laughing and hugging her back, "Merry Christmas my sweetie! Already almost forgot it was today"
Marcy laughed and hugged him once more, "Merry Christmas Marco" Nancy said from the table smiling and gave a wave. "Merry Christmas Pa" Austin gave a wave as he flipped some pancakes. "The kids really wanted to come down earlier but we told them that you two needed your sleep." Ken chuckled as he was placing toast in a pan and placed it in the oven.
Marco chuckled, "It's really okay if they came down. Our room is still soundproof even with the new door. Don't even wake up on trash day anymore from the trucks!"
Marcy laughed, "Oh you would have woken up when they started to jump on the bed"
"Ah... Okay you got me" he laughed, "thank you for protecting our sleep"
Marcy giggled and helped get the drinks on the table and made Marco take a seat at the table after he came out of the bathroom. Setting down his coffee and took a seat next to him.
They talked for a while, Marco sipping his coffee and a few small cookies they had for him. It was by 7:15 that he scooted his chair back, "I'll see if Ace is starting to wake up or not" He wasn't 2 steps from his seat when the bedroom door flew open. "Marco!" Marco sped walk, pressive for a 75-year-old, to Ace and pulled him in. Ace clinging to him. He kissed his head and held him tightly, "I'm here love" Ace nodded "you weren't in bed, and the bed was cold already. The door wasn't open like you leave it to go to the bathroom"

"But mostly dad" Austin chuckled, and as he was swatted in the arm as he went back to the food.
They kept up storys untill a while later Nick stuck his head out and called down "Just a warning. Won't keep them contained much longer"
"It's all good son foods all done so they can come on down" Cheering could be heard up staries, as the kids tried to make their way down the steps Nick had picked up and tossed Eddie over his shoulder and carried her down like a sack of potatoes, and Jay was being carried under Cody's arm while Leo was trying to get passed the older boys. "Food first then we can open all the gifts." Nancy said as they made it down stairs before her middle child took off running. He pouted but went to the table and sat down at the table. Nick placed Eddie in the chair next to Ace. Marcy took a seat next to her daughter after placing the kids drinks on the table. Once everyone was seated, Ken and Austin came around placing plates of food on the table for everyone.
Ace took his time ruffling the blond hairs untill the food was up. "You all went all out even for breakfast!" Ace laughed as he watched the assortment of items.
"Well if course! We have some with some pretty big appetites" Austin laughed
Marco as well as Ace laughed at it. Because now it wasn't Ace who had the biggest appetite. But these kids... These kids, even Austin's somehow inherited Ace's black hole stomach from when he was younger. "Thank you everyone" Marco said gently, taking one of the waffles, "this is all so nice"
Each kid had one big pancake, 2 slice of toast, 3 strips of bacon, scramble eggs, 1 sausage, half a waffle and home fries. Nick and Cody each had two big pancakes, 4 slices of toast, scrambled eggs, 4 slices of bacon, 4 sausages, a waffle and home fries. While the other adults had a bit more it seemed that both Ken and Marco had the least amount on their plate.
"I honestly don't know where they put it all" Ken wondered to Marco as he watched his family and in-laws inhale the food before. Even his adorable wife was happily enjoying the large plate he had made for her.
"Don't question it" Marco murmured back, "or they'll somehow get even hungrier"

Nick had gotten up to get Ella her bottle.

Eddie cheered and kissed his cheek again. Everyone one else soon finished and Marcy and Nancy started to clear the table with Cody's help. Austin telling his youngest to stay until the table was clear.

Ace smiled and looked at his son and gave a smile, "their too cute to say no too" he looked to kids, "go and sit on the floor but don't touch any gifts or no one will open any gifts till later" He warned lightly, and the boys nodded and got up and rushed off to sit by the tree. Ace smiled and went to get up with Eddie, "Stop right there dad"
Ace looked to Austin who had his arms crossed, and Ace pouted, and sat Eddie down floor, "go sit with your cousin's sweetie" and Eddie kissed his cheek before taking off to sit with Leo and Jay. Marco finished the rest if his coffee, "let's go open gifts and we can worry about the clean up after" he said standing up from his chair and placed his hand on the table to help him stand up. This table had seen so much. So many family dinners, nights of doing homework, and studying, paperwork, and conversation. It had defiantly stood the test of time.
Everyone soon took a seat to a sock that had their names on it, and the adults let the kids open that first.
Seems like the adults chose to tell for there were all exited for their gifts and showing it to each other. When the kids were done. Marcy handed them a gift "from all of us."
