A/N

RWBY exaggerates a lot. At least in my opinion. Take Qrow's and Winter's spar. One of them cleaved through a whole street lamp like it wasn't even there. And to add to it They ran up walls.

And yes I am aware Bullheads are made for cargo and or farrying troops.

And the A10 is being used fairly easily, yes. But Shino has used Jets for a large chunk of her life so she's rather proficient at it.

Thanks, for the review man, they are always welcome! Almost a 100 follows Which is insane. Thank you guys. Really. It has me shaking in my boots in excitement. I mean C'mon 98 people that's Insane!

LL14, Now onto chapter 13… The 50k word mark, Cool as shit I might add. This chapter will be my longest one yet. At 6500 rounded up to the nearest hundred.

—-

I slowly blinked in boredom. My eyes trained on the scorched bullhead in front of me but slightly off to the right. My A10 was slowed so drastically that it threatened to stall occasionally. We were hours into the flight and I've grown bored enough to start curing cancer.

So far with my barely functioning brain, I haven't made much progress.

I wonder. Does Remnant have cancer?

I turned the stick slightly to stop myself from drifting off course because of a strong headwind. Hours later of being in my never ending suffering. We barreled head first into a blizzard. One almost as terrible as the night I was-

"Not going there" I shuddered and my hair stood on end. Tyrain and most likely Hazel left a large impact on me.

If I had to give my mental health a rating it would be Fucked. And the ranking is as follows: A B C D. Fucked. FUBAR and K.

Don't ask what "K" stands for. Just know it's bad.

Now this storm on the other hand would have a rating of. 2/10. Wouldn't want to try again.

I've had my targeting systems. Which I didn't have the armament's to. Trained on Ruby's bullhead in order to keep track of the group.

I white knuckled the joy stick as turbulence bounced me to and fro. A cold sweat long since enveloped me.

I could also track them by the faint glow of the engines. Or the slightly discolored white among the rest of the white.

The storm cleared within minutes but my nerves remained.

—-

It was around sunset when Atlas came into view. Even if this is my second time seeing it. Compared to earth. Remnant puts anything on my old world to shame. Even the sky's trumped Earth's.

I watched Ruby's bullhead bank down and low towards Mantel. I choose to do the opposite and direct myself to Atlas academy. Like Beacon the school dwarfed anything in sight. It was large enough to be in most of the skyline.

It was painted a striking bluish white. Battleships like the one that almost swatted me from the sky encircled the School and the floating island itself.

Ironwood's paranoia needs help. That's why I planned to reveal my maiden powers to him. In hopes that his semblance doesn't run him to destruction like in the show.

My radio cackled. "This is General James Ironwood,.Land slowly. Any hostile actions will be responded to accordingly"

So Ozpin might've clued him in on me. Or just the A10. either way he didn't sound disturbed. His voice was neutral.

Even though I knew it was futile I lifted my radio to my mouth and spoke. "Affirmative."

I received no response. But as I neared closer to a cruiser. I watched its canons slowly trace me. Or my heat signature. The targeting systems they use is something I should find out. Based on that one battleship. It's heat-seeking.

The academy gathered closer and I selected… All I had to land on was a short runway.. Which was right in front of the front door. Pads of all varying sizes of circle jutted out from the front.

"Fuuck mee" I ground. I flared the air brakes to their max. And the jet lurched so hard my head almost bounced off the console.

'Aura or not. I should probably use the seat belt' United's hilt clinked on the top of the canopy when I hunched over.

I pulled the stick back and engaged the landing gear. While I was doing that. United decided to unlatch from its sheath and cause problems. My aura sparked when my own sword batted me in the head.

The A10's speed rapidly decreased. I caught my sword when it bounced back in the limited space for round two.

I was in perfect landing posture. I neared the landing area. I saw a figure on the stairs wearing all white with their hands clasped behind their back.

With that I touched down rather quickly. A metallic screech and ripping sound echoed with the engines and my right wing connected with the shiny white of the landing pad. I cursed.

It didn't stop there. The tyres spitted smoke and my wing sparked across the ground. I hit the grass next. Dirt flew as the other tire bit more. My wing leaving a canyon like scratch in the dirt as well as leaving a marred Metal behind. From both the landing pad. And what I later realized as one off my aft landing gear.

The A10 stopped. The nose was pitched up and I was just feet from the opening steps where Ironwood stood.

The General was wide eyed. I stared into the pools of his gun mental eyes. As a tire flew by at mind numbing speeds and straight through one of the large entrance windows to his left.

I watch him flinch. I immediately blamed Qrow.

Smoke and dust billowed away in the wind to show the General the full extent of his court yards damages.

United was still held between my arm and ribs so I used my other hand to slowly push the canopy open.

I expected it to fully snap off and fall to the ground but it held firm. And I briefly thanked the open air.

I slid down the right side of the A10 and cringed at the damages I've done.

The wing held firm. But from what I could see. The tail had damages and the right gear was completely missing. The A10 had one large gash that was covered up by dirt. I looked further back in the trail of destruction I left.

Instead of wincing or profusely apologizing like any normal human. I laughed hysterically. I grasped my stomach as I leaned on the A10. and continued to giggled mirthlessly.

Dirt squished under my boots as I continued laughing. The heat from the engines was blown into my face because of the Atlas winds.

Ironwood's heavy footfalls approached me. It caused me to snap my head up. "What's up bitch?" I inquired.

"Keep it up, Miss Branwen. I have plenty of charges to press you with if you continue." I snorted.

"You'd arrest the Newest Fall Maiden Jimbo?"

The wind blew my hair around. As it did Ironwood's hair. Tense silence enveloped us. My unhinged smile never left my face inn that time. Of which I wasn't even aware I was making.

Seconds passed as we sized each other up. Ironwood broke the silence first. "Ahem. We have much to talk about.. Did you come alone?"

I adjusted my .45's holster in one swift motion. And stood straight in a parade rest that was ingrained in my soul.

"You should know the answer to that, sir" I wanted to smack myself for falling into military protocol but I couldn't bring myself to care.

I was a creature of habit. Ironwood's stern expression didn't relax but he did quirk a single brow and clinched his jaw.

"I do" I snapped my fingers as I left the parade rest. "Then let's not pussy foot around, no?"

I tapped a foot on the A10. "Not sorry bout` this"

"All is well Branwen." He threw out his mechanical hand. And I slowly brought one of my gloved hands to shake it.

"For what its worth I'm sorry" all formality left his voice.

I paused and asked slowly and cautiously. "For what?" He dropped his eyelids solemnly.

"You will find out soon enough. As this concerns you rather heavily"

Will if that wasn't ominous I wouldn't know what was.

I squeezed his hand hard enough for me to hear it whirr. My Tail coiled behind me in thought before I released his hand.

He opened his eye's and he seemed far older than he actually was. He and Qrow had the same glint in their eyes. But his expression turned formal and the flicker of emotion faded from his eyes.

He turned on one heel and opened his robot arm in a welcoming gesture. "The others will be here shortly"

Against my better judgment I took his offering and I turned my back to him and padded my way up the stairs. His heavy footfalls followed on beat with my own.

Atlas academy was clean. Unbelievably so. A certain character I know would be impressed.

I snorted when I neared the busted window. Ironwood sighed as he stepped to my left and his gloved hands pulled the door open.

"Your aircraft will be taken to the hangers and repaired"

"Repaired?" I asked in pure confusion. How would they know how- "Yes. It will be within the week"

I choose to not question it. So silence blanketed us once again and we trekked along the unbelievably clean hallways that gave me Ice castle vibes.

The layout was rather simple. minimalistic and organized. I appreciated it. But at the same time disliked it.

My eyes trailed to Ironwood's back and I took time to really analyze him. He has an uneven cadence. One foot connected harder with the ground and his body held itself inorganically. The metal shoulder was a few centimeters higher than his flesh and bone one.

The armor plate on that shoulder showed through his white coat in a hidden way. It was so small I barely noticed it.

How all that metal didn't rub or irate him confused me severely. But I passed it on as. 'He just deals with it and it is what it is'

Now his guns were roughly 9-10 inches. Which by normal standards was huge. And I wasn't talking about his biceps. Which with his bionic arm. I reckon he could tear me in half. Considering I was one of the slimmer ones in our little group. Weiss and Ruby were just shorter and I was smaller than Blake.

In body mass.

Ironwood found himself in the Beefcake category. Square in there with Hazel and Ghira. Blake's Father.

I remembered Hazels blows acutely.

—-

We found ourselves in Ironwood's office rather quickly. We stood awkwardly. Or well I did. Because Ironwood sat down at his desk. He started massaging his temples in slow circles. I took this chance to increase his aggravation by sauntering around the room and fiddling with decorative items

My hearing wicked up the slow drumming of digits. And I stopped stacking decor nick nacks.

I looked at the General from the corner of one of my eyes and say his irritated expression. With a well hidden snicker I sat on the table my weight caused the table to jostle just enough to send the tower toppling.

All the stuff hit the ground and the glass items shattered and a few metal bits and bobs clacked off the floor and rolled around.

I blankly turned my eyes back to Ironwood. Who just looked bored. He was really focused on brooding.

I didn't care in the slightest.

Thankfully his brooding and my growing boredom was interrupted by the automatic door sliding open in a hiss.

Qrow walked through witha scowl on his face. The rest of the crew followed. Yang was the first to notice me and she bounded over and scooped me up into a bear hug one that I wholeheartedly returned.

The ace ops noticed me.

Harriet was the first to come after me. "YOU!" her exo suit armor activated and lightning trailed her. Yang turned around just in time to connect a mean right hook to the other girl's cheek. My jaw dropped. Because I've never seen the brawler move that fast.

"BREE! Stand down!" Ironwood barked. The women did as told with a frown. "But sir-" Ironwood's frown deepened.

"No, Clover, you and your team are dismissed. Thank you" Like the good soldier he was, Clover nodded and began to escort his team from the room.

Winter stayed. I just noticed the other Schnee's presence then. 'I need to work on my awareness' I noted.

Penny was with her also. Standing off to the side with that dumbly adorable smile.

Ironwood looked at me. "Branwen. No. Shino. Show me your powers." I hesitated. I wasn't sure the others knew. Other than Qrow

'Fuck it.' With that I drew from the secondary power that nestled itself comfortably next to my aura. Cerulean flames licked at my irises. Then slowly branched out to the edges of my eyes. Then it burst into flames.

They blew around comfortably. I channeled on another smaller power in the maiden one. And lightning crackled around me.

Qrow set his face in a grim line. But the others looked on in Aw. Yang, who was closest to me, reached out and touched the flames around my left eye. And they lapped at her hand but did not burn.

Ironwood held up his hand. "Alright. That proves that" I cut the power and the flames disappeared in a whisp

Qrow threw one of his hands to the side. As Ironwood stood. "Jimmy they-" Qrow gestured to Winter and Penny. "They know. With Oz disappearing I had to tune a few in"

Ironwood used that time to walk up to Qrow. "James Oz-" But he was cut off by the mountain of a man pulling him into a hug.

"I'm glad you're safe," The General muttered. Ironwood pulled away. "Has Ozpin?" Qrow nodded. "Yes he has James" He lazily gestured with his head.

"Meet Oscar Pine" Said boy cringed in embarrassment and lowered his head. "Oz" Ironwood looked to the 14 year old like he was a Messiah bringing him water after he suffered in a desert for months.

"H-Hes Not Here right now" The General lowered his head. "Is that so? Why is he not available?"

Ruby stepped forward and with everyone's help explained Why the Wizard wasn't available.

After the long story was disclosed. And the relic's nature was as well. Ironwood slumped in his seat and sighed.

"The question's where used up?" all of us nodded. Ironwood's frown got even more deeper. Somehow.

Ironwood brought one of his fists up to his mouth. "Well, Thank you for letting me know…" He rubbed his head and slicked his hair back. He looked deep in through with his brows creased in deep thought. "Salems..No..How? Can we defeat her"

No one seemed to pick up on his mumbling. Suddenly he snapped out of it. "Alright, Shino" He looked at me. "No, everyone. I have a program that might finally help us gain the land we've once lost.. And possibly give us a large boon to the Grim.. Salem included"

Qrow raised a brow. And I crossed my arms as he stood and walked around the desk. His leg creaked all the way.

"Come, please" And just like that we all obediently followed the General to an elevator at the end of the hall.

The doors chimed open and he walked in. All of us entered as follows: Ironwood, Qrow, Me, Yang, Ruby, Jaune, Blake, Penny, Nora, Ren, Winter and Weiss.

Now twelve people in an elevator are cramped. But there was no standard elevator. No this one was plus sized.

There was enough room to fit two decent sized SUV's side by side. And still have enough room to all fit in there.

Yang, Ruby and Blake marveled in the sheer size of this elevator. The elevator looked like a new addition to the building.

I suppose none of them have seen something this large. I would add a dick joke onto that but..

That's Qrow's job. I shook my head as Ironwood selected a Floor. He removed his finger from the button and I got a view of the button. Number one is what I expected to see. But no It was: ARND.

"Hey, what's ARND mean?" My tone was bored and slightly curious. "Airforce Research And Development" Ironwood rumbled.

"Oh" I mumbled.

We were left in uncomfortable silence as my mind processed what that information might mean.

Ding. Ding. Ding. The elevator drowned. "Jimmy what exactly is this?" Qrow crossed his arms and leaned on the wall. "I've been busy building a newer air defense for all of Remnant"

A small smile broke out on his face. "With these two kind men's help and many of my engineers we came up with a few prototypes. And with Miss Branwen's help in finishing a few things. We won't have to fear any airborne threat or ground alike."

My brain stalled like a 23 year old vehicle that sat for a while. "With whose help?" I grounded out.

Ironwood's smile crumbled into a straight line. "Gentlemen that helped us greatly in achieving the goal of protecting Remnant, We will be meeting them soon"

My fists clenched. But I otherwise didn't respond. As if on cue the doors slide open. My eyes bulged at the sheer size of the hanger-like room. 30-40 abominations stood out. The worst part was there were two that were slightly different than the others.

Ones with distinguishable builds that were severely different from the other ones. At the fair end of the room I was staring at a pair of Migs. The Russian flag stood out proudly on the tails.

The flag seemed to laugh mockingly at me. My heart started to drum in an uneven manner. I zoned in one a pair of men further away from the two jets. One held his arm up in a boisterous nature as the one sitting on a stool seemed to laugh at his comrade.

We neared closer. And white hot anger started coursing through my veins. The Russian flag was on both their shoulders. Of what I recognized as a flight uniform.

Remnant transformed them two. One had neon orange hair and a beard to match. His eyes were red. The other slightly shorter man had. Silver hair and green eyes.

He also had a pair of goat ears on his head. I felt my teeth start grinding together as I struggled to control myself.

No one noticed my growing temper and the hot tears gathered in my eyes. Yang must've but I refused to look at anything but the pair of murders in front of me.

"Timur! Alonev!" Ironwood greeted. Both men perked up. They both scrambled over to Ironwood. "Yes sir?" They echoed. The Russian accent is thick on their tongues.

Before they reached us. I stepped forward and blasted my fist into the orange ones nose. "RUSSIAN FUCKS!" I screamed.

My accent and announcement of their county clued them in on who I was. The silver haired one moved to pull me off his comrade as I bashed my elbow into his nose. "SUKA! American trash!"

One more Aura induced blow shattered the man's aura. And blood started gushing from his broken nose. I pulled my .45 free as one of my hands clasped around the orange man's throat cutting off his retort.

I level the handgun at the other scumbag. I growled low, in warning as my grip tightened. And the guy below me began to kick furiously. The other man threw his hands up.

"You killed my partners!" I pulled the trigger and the man failed to doge. It glanced off his aura. I felt a large hand wrap around my forearm as I was yanked from the Orange haired man's chest. The gun was squeezed from my fingers by a gloved hand as the other arm put me into a headlock.

"Stop this at once!" Ironwood thundered. He held me still as I kicked. My gun clattered to the floor.

It all happened in the span Of a few seconds. All I know is Ironwood pulled me away and the silver haired man ran to his partner's side and began to treat his nose.

In Ironwood's grip I looked around the room. Qrow's face was set in a furious line. Ruby didn't look like she knew what she just saw. Yang's eyes were bright red and Blake and Weiss were struggling to hold the women back.

Nora was grinning at the bloodshed and Ren's face was neutral. Oscar was somewhere between confused and angry. Jaune was clasping his sword silently and sadly.

"Jimmy you better explain yourself and release her" I growled like a feral beast at the Russian men who were standing together checking out the one guy's nose.

"Not until she controls herself" I tried forcing my arm free. "She, will fucking kill those two FUCKS!" I snarled. My free arm snaked around to one of his holsters and I pulled the large handgun free.

In a split second I uncontrollably mag dumped at the men. As Ironwood turned me away. High powered bullets ranged out in the room. All of them went wide. Striking off the floor and the remnant fighter jets wing of which the two men dove behind.

Ironwood tackled me to the floor to pin me under him. The wind was knocked out of my lungs when he let his knee crush my ribs from the rear.

I snarled under the hulk of a man. His hand cannon was kicked a distance away from my reach by Winter. My free arm was wrestled around to my back as Winter produced a pair of cuffs. With a click I was bound. Seconds later United was removed from my back.

"Calm down, or I'll stick you in a cell like I did Adam Taurus" The elder Schnee sighed. My anger drained slowly but I craned my neck up to look into her stern but understanding eyes "Fuck you!" I bit.

Ironwood lessened the pressure on my back. And he explained his reasoning. Which I'll sum up.

"Yaddda yadda future of remnants defense. Key to Salem's defeat"

He took a while to explain that these two men were valuable in the war against Salem. Which I started to slowly understand.

I felt defeated and worn down. My memories of Airhead and Pickaxe came back full force. So I did what any grieving person would do. I closed my eyes and went slack in Ironwood's grip. As a single tear rolled down my cheek and my tail went limp on my legs.

He slowly removed his weight off me. Soon he returned to his full height. I cracked an eye open to see Winter toss the key to my cuffs at Qrow which he fumbled with and then sent a glare the Women's way.

The two Atleasian's led the two Russians away. Qrow's dress shoes clacked against the shiny floor and soon I felt the cuffs get removed. I let my arms fall limply to the ground before slowly rolling over onto my side and sitting up.

I blankly stared at the Migs and brought my legs up to my chest. I didn't cry. I just stared at then in a sort of trace. Yang slid on her knees to my side seconds after and drew me into a soft hug. Qrow rested his ringed hand on my head.

Ruby crouched on my other side and rested her hand on the small of my back.

JNR walked up and Jaune kneeled in front of me and set his shield in my line of sight. Ren's knife followed suit.

"We Understand" Jaune spoke. Ren nodded and Nora gave me a caring smile. It didn't make me feel better but I gave Yang one more squeeze and Blearily looked at Ruby and gave her a smile so she wouldn't worry.

"I-We need their help" It was like I was telling myself. I still wanted to kill them. I probably will kill them.

Qrow removed his hand and I took that chance to stand. My knee started shaking after taking my weight after the amount of adrenaline was flowing through my system.

Yang's hands found my waist and shoulder to help stabilize me. I gave her a smile that conveyed just how happy I was with her support.

She gave a dazzling one in response. "Lets kick ass" She stopped grasping me "Lets" I nodded.

I buried my anger and my grief. I began to inspect the prototypes around me.

They looked like X-Wings… At least the Air to ground attack craft did. They had massive engines on each side of the fuselage. The wings curved like a sigils. And they had external fuel tanks attached under them. Or perhaps those were large ass bombs.

I felt my holster in thought.

Where were my weapons..? "Qrow? Guys? Where are my weapons?"

I looked back to see Ruby Inspecting my gun. And Qrow was holding United with a smug grin on his face.

"Need sumth' Blueberry?" I cracked a grin at the nickname. "I need my sword old man" He put his hand in his pocket. "I'm not old"

He tossed me a United. "Keep telling yourself that"

Ruby walked up and handed me the .45. I took it with a grin and put it in its holster.

"These are. Wow!" she zipped around the jet. "This has 90 pound Lightning dust bombs! Is that a 70 millimeter cannon?!"

My eyes bugged at the ammo size. "That- That ammo size is absurd" I commented. I walked to the nose of the jet and eyed the large rotary gun.

If this thing so much as nicks any jet in a dog fight. It's all over. You wouldn't be able to limp away. I walked to the rear of the jet and the engines were segmented like they were capable of VTOL. which Knowing Remnant that wouldn't surprise me. I trailed my eyes from the large jet to the far smaller one next to it.

This one had nothing but missiles and looked like a flying dorito. The engines were inside the body of the plane. Like a F18. But cursed.

The cockpit was a bubble cockpit and telling on how thin the glass was. This one wasn't going to offer any protection for the pilot.

The next one was about the size of an A10 but looked more like a Tomcat. It had external engines and what looked like a 20 millimeter cannon.

I eyed this one up some more and it had these oddly shaped missile pods on the top of the fuselage. They were nestled in between the dual rear fins. Did I mention the engines were on it in such a configuration that it looked like the plane was built for nothing but straight line speed?

Its entire ass end was nothing but those dual engines. It was like putting a 1200 hp engine in a smart car. I already deduced this one would be a death trap.

"Who in the nine hells came up with this design?" I asked an employee that was rushing by. "General Ironwood wanted a fast striking bullhead. This was what our engineers came up with Miss"

"That thing. Will get many good men killed. Scrap it." The man didn't respond, he just turned on his heels and continued speed walking in a miscellaneous direction.

"Twat" I muttered.

Ruby caught up with me and started gushing about this 'Absolutely dashing idea' I rolled my eyes. Qrow looked over the jet and gave it the most disapproving look I've seen on his face.

Yang was just grinning at the massive turbines it had. Blake eyed it warily and Weiss was picking her nails.

I drug my gaze away from the abomination. And looked around the whole hanger from my spot. Everything looked like a mix of american planes, Russian planes and Remnants type of aircraft.

I spotted my A10 in a bay marked with Yellow warning paint on the floor in a large rectangle. So I hurried my way over to it and the technician working on it.

"Hey" I announce my presence. The women turn to me. "How did you manage to find the intact version of this?!"

I paused as my eye twitched. "Please do tell.. What do you mean by that?" She adjusted her glasses. "Well we ah. Only have found the remains of two craft that were completely destroyed. We only know what this particular model looks like because of those Kind pilots"

She turned to her tablet and flipped it around to show me. The images made me sick. Sure enough there was an image of the burnt twisted remains of an A10 Thunderbolt.

One partially made my vision swim. As it had massive burn holes in its tail and one engine was completely missing.

A close up of one of the cockpits revealed blood smeared all over the instruments and the glass that was left on the canopy.

There was a .45 just like mine on the seat as well. It was dented. The slide had bite marks on it.

I already guessed what happened to my friends if they showed up on Remnant. I just hoped it would've been a quick death. Even if their aura was unlocked right away like mine.

The next image was of what I assumed was Pickaxes A10. this one was charred beyond recognition.

The next image slid by and I threw up. It was a freshly toasted Pickaxe. Or who I assume is Pickaxe. Or what I thought was my flight lead for he was so burnt I couldn't make out anything but his teeth amidst the black roasted flesh.

He was laying back in the seat. Multiple ribs poked from his chest. Blood pooled in the cockpit.

I coughed on my own saliva and puked my guts out. The bile burned my throat and spilled onto the white tiled floor causing the Tech to "eep" and back away. Hot tears pricked my eyes again but I held them.

I dropped to my knees and struggled not to fall into my own bile. "Yang..Yang" I whimpered like a pitiful child.

My breathing became warbled and my vision swam. A hand rested on my shoulder and pulled me up and away from the vomit puddle.

"Yang" I gasped. "I'm here, I'm here" The voice echoed in my ears. I buried my nose into the crook of something warm. I was jostled before being put in a bridal carry.

My grasp of time slipped away from me. All I knew was the steady breathing and the motions of being carried at high speed calmed my frayed nerves.

An hour could have passed. Twenty minutes could've. I didn't know. There was a loud crack that sounded like a door being kicked open and slammed.

I was set on something soft and I opened my eyes and tried to focus. I watched a blur of yellow move around and come closer. Yang put a washcloth on my mouth and started cleaning the bile and spittle away. Her other hand, the human one, cradled my left cheek. Her thumb rubbed little circles on my cheek bone.

My vision slowly focused on her eyes. I numbly lifted my hand to her hair and began running my finger through it.

"There you go Chino.."

I gave her a weak smile.

Yang tossed the rag away and it landed in a hamper by an open bathroom door.

"Nice shot" I croaked.

She shook her head. "Even after this, you're worried about complimenting my awesomeness" Her grin showed her narcissism was in jest. "Yeah, like your ego needs growing" I almost sounded normal.

I lifted my other hand and rubbed my eye. "I-I got to see the graphic remains of my squad leader. And I couldn't handle it"

Yang sighed. "You shouldn't have tried to see them," I frowned. "Probably not."

I caught a whiff of my own breath and noticed how greasy my hair was. I cringed so hard that Yang noticed it.

"Hey, what's wrong? Are you alright?" She started fawning over me immediately. I felt my cheeks grow hot. "I stink, Yang. I need a shower"

Her mother hen mode shut off like a light. She sniffed the air obnoxiously. "Yeah you stink" I sat up as she moved about the room.

"Wow, thanks" was my dead panned response.

"You love me" She sauntered into the bathroom and turned on the tub. "Maybe…" I whispered so that running water would cover it up.

"Do I?!" I shouted.

I heard a bang like a soap bottle kissed the floor. "Shit, You Do!" Yang chimed back. "Who said?" I peaked in the door to see Yang topless with a sports bra on. She turned with a grin as my face turned an embarrassing shade of red as I stared at her abs and toned body.

"That expression right there says" My cyan eyes snapped to her eyes, her cheshire grin was on full display.

"I'm not complaining" the blush deepened as Yang floundered for a response. But instead she stepped up and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"Clean yourself hotstuff and you might get more than just that~" Her face was dusted an adorable pink. With that she brushed by me her hand briefly touched mine.

The door clicked shut gently leaving me to myself.

"I hate this world" I mumbled fondly.

With that I started stripping off my clothing. It took me all of five seconds to remove it all. As I felt fucking desgusting. The water was hot as my fingers got burnt when I stuck them in the tub. But that bothered me very little. I hopped right in that bitch like it was my last bath for the rest of my life, and well if I fail to save Atlas It might as well be.

I eyed the soaps Yang set up for me. There was watermelon scented kids stuff. This cinnamon body wash and a blueberry hair wash.

I stared blankly at the last one. Before slowly moving to the last bright pink bottle.

She gave me bubblegum. Bubble maker. There was a pun. Right in front of me and I hated it. Mainly because as a kid I loved bubble baths and making potions with my Mom and Dad's stuff.

Blueberry shampoo and bubblegum bubble bath…. I ground my teeth together before breathing out and letting it go.

With a heavy heart I poured the shampoo into my palm and shamefully started rubbing it into my blue locks. My tail swishes water around causing miniature waves.

—-

Twenty minutes later I had a towel wrapped around my waist and a toothbrush in my mouth. I was doing the very manly practice of flexing in the mirror and admiring my scars. Even with how I got them. I considered them badass.

I scrubbed my teeth with the minty toothpaste and this weird toothbrush. I padded my hair with my other hand while I did so.

The tooth brush looked like it turned into a bowie knife. It had a hand guard and everything!

I finished with the mundane task of brushing my pearly whites. I spit it out then leaned over the sink and took tap water into my mouth from the faucet. I swished it around and promptly spit it out. I carelessly threw my shirt on not bothering with a bra. It's not like I cared anyway it was Yang in the other room.

It's time I told her about Summer.

I dropped the towel and pulled on my under garment and my tac pants. The rest of my stuff wasn't thrown on.

I stepped towards the door and opened it.

I was greeted by the sight of a jacketless Yang. She was in some of the Atlas provided sleep clothes. And was playing a game on her scroll.

"Yang?" She looked up from her scroll. "Yeeaas~?" she sang.

I paused and looked anywhere in the room but her. "Someone was-with me When I was captured.. And they escaped with me"

She went stiff. "Who?"

I winced that her tone was flat but slightly curious. I held my wrist and looked down at the carpeted floor.

"I Uh-escapped with Summer.. Ruby and Your mom" I looked up and I met her eyes. "S-Shes safe and back home with Tai"

I shuffled my feet and looked away. "Sorry for not telling you. There was a lot of stuff going on" The silence in the room was unbearable. But it was broken Yangs legs coming into sight and then her shorts she was getting really clos-

A hang grasped my chin and lifted my head. My already moist cyan met Yang's leaking liliac. Next thing I knew they fluttered shut and a hand snaked its way around my waist. And a pair of lips met mine. I closed my eyes just as fast. And held the kiss with Her.

I was pulled flush against her body and I immediately wrapped my arms around Yang. Her kiss was needy and wanting. And I'm sure mine was the same.

She deepened it when I let my jaw slack and her tongue decided to explore. My reaction was pretty muted but I pressed against her muscled frame.

But all things come to an end. In this case it was a certain red reaper smashing through the door like she owned the place.

"YANG! Shino!"

Hands slapping over a mouth echoed in the room as we pulled apart. Yang was flushed pink and I felt like I was blushing madly also.

Yang had a dopey smile on her face. "Rube's she brought our Mom back"

Ruby froze like a deer caught in headlights. She looked at me to see my sincere expression and the dam broke. The girl launched herself at me in an explosion of rose petals. I activated my aura just in time to catch the girl.

She was bawling into my chest. I looked at Yang who. Walked over to us and pulled me and Ruby into a hug. Ruby being the unlucky one was crushed between us.

Yang kissed her sobbing sister on the crown of her head before pulling me into a quick kiss which I recuperated.

We broke apart as Qrow rounded the door. "Uncle Qrow! Shino brought Mom home"

Qrow gave me a smile "I know, firecracker" He pulled out his scroll.

"Now before you break into any more rooms, you guys have a dormitory to use." He gave a follow me gesture with the scroll in his hand and he sauntered out the door with a wry grin on his face.
