Buzzing sound of cicadas and rays of sunlight enters her window, curtains swaying as if someone was stroking it. Shifting in her bed, Kagome groans at being woken up by the noise. Sitting slowly to avoid getting vertigo, she looked blankly at the space occupying her room. Hearing the sound of footsteps downstairs, she decided to fix her bed before preparing for the day.

Currently, she resides at one of the apartments in the Land of Waves. Locking her door she went down to greet the old couple that found her at the stream years ago; bloodied and almost dying from the wounds she gained from the last fight - she remembered the day she woke up - blurring vision, a pair of azure eyes blink at the ceiling with tears falling down to her ears, soon, hush voices and a warm hand stroke her hair coaching her to fall asleep once more, it was two days since she woke up from that time, and years since that day.

Walking down the street, sunlight hit her form as shadows form on the ground. On her neck was a glinting silver cord hidden beneath her blue kimono. Roaming around, she saw the lack of vendors at the side and beggars staying on the corner, she glanced discreetly towards some who reside in the darkest alley. Controlling her aura, she did not want someone to sense her as anyone who's not a normal human. From the time she was able to move, she gathered information about the new world she was thrown, thus, she found out that there are warriors and ninjas living in this era yet have powers known as chakra to use techniques based on elements - every technology and manners of living is quite similar to where she originally came from yet different - she presume that this world must be a parallel to what she and the others are living.

Stopping her train of thoughts as she reaches her destination, she extends her right hand to knock on the door. Hearing a shuffle behind the door, she waited.

Within the forest, two figures seem to glide as they pass through the land with ease on their stride. Their bodies covered with black cloaks as their hats occlude their faces, only the sound of bells attached on it echoes in their surroundings. Soon, mist began to surround them, obscuring them from the animals and possible bandits roaming in their way, before disappearing in the dark.

Azure eyes met dark eyes, the man in front of her stood tall, her grayish hair remained untamed. Catching a movement behind her, she saw a woman with long dark blue hair in her early twenties, preparing the plates and utensils on the table. The woman senses someone watching her, glances at her side to see Kagome at the door, and she smiles brighter upon her visit.

"Hello, Kagome-chan"

"Hello, Tsunami-san"

Tsunami frowned as someone occluded Kagome.

"Papa, let Kagome-chan in, she's my friend!" she shouted to her father who seemed to stand rigidly in front of the door. Grunting, before opening the door wide to welcome her.

"Tsunami, be careful of who you invite inside our house…" rolling her eyes, Tsunami just agreed to her father.

Kagome scans her surroundings before looking for someone. A chuckle turned her towards Tsunami when she felt like an antelope in front of a headlights.

"You are looking for Inari, he was sleeping a while ago" she stated as Kagome nodded as Tsunami placed food in front of her.

"Oh, thank you, Tsunami-san" , picking up the spoon to scoop her rice. "No Kagome-chan, thank you"

Her dark eyes look at the young woman in front of her. Tsunami remembered that day - the day when she felt that everything felt hopeless and gained hope once more.

The loud screams of her son filled her ears, scooping him in her arms when she saw that Inari was having difficulty breathing. Banging the door outside their house, she ran on the street, hoping to receive some help in curing her child. It had been hours since she spent looking for a doctor when suddenly she saw her, calling her out. She almost gasped when she met her eyes - bluest pair of eyes like the sky - before pleading kneeling in front of her.

The sound of utensils clicking together as Kagome organizes her dirty dishes in her sink. Smiling at the young woman, Tsunami stood up before taking over. Telling Kagome to visit Inari in his room on the second floor. Still her smile seems to retain on her face.

Pale hands stretched out to the bundle in her arms, touching the face of her son. Soon, a white glow envelops the child before his breathing became regular, then, he slept soundly in her arms.

Everything happened so fast, yet she was grateful for Kagome.

'I hope you may be filled with love and joy, Kagome-chan' Tsunami wishes in her mind.
