Chapter 2
Hopes Peak Academy, Class 77
Chiaki looked at the uniform in awe as she gently placed her hand on the uniform. She could feel the life vibrating from the clothes. It felt much more greater than the uniforms that Ragyo created. Sure it wasn't as fancy looking as the ones that Ragyo saw. Most likely because those were fashion and took the concept of school uniforms as inspiration. Yet, there was something else behind the clothes that Satsuki presented to her.
If Chiaki was to explain what both articles of clothing looked like. Chiaki would explain that Ragyo's was meant to stand before royalty, while Satsuki's was to walk among the nobility. One straight line with little distance and yet, it felt like so much effort just to travel between both endpoints.
"You may take your time to marvel at it as long as you wish. However, you will have no connection with it if you do not bond with your uniform." Satsuki said.
Chiaki nodded, "I'll be right back." she said.
"Where is she going?" Kazuichi asked.
"The bathroom obviously, Chiaki isn't going to strip in front of us." Akane said making the pink haired boy blush.
Meanwhile Chisa stumbled around her desk for eyedrops, "I need to start bringing sunglasses for whenever Satsuki-san arrives." she said as that flash around Satsuki started to damage her retinas.
A few minutes later
The uniform felt amazing, yet a bit underwhelming. It wasn't a uniform per se, but rather a more street casual set of clothing. Composed of a green jacket with the Hopes Peak brand, shorts, knee length boots with ankle length socks and finally a big star on the shirt underneath the jacket with another Hopes Peak logo on it.
"I expected a… bit more of a uniform." Chisa muttered.
"It's nice, but really surprising for a uniform." Chiaki said.
"You do not define the clothing Chiaki-san. You wear it and not the other way around. Define this prototype and make it your own!" Satsuki said in her usual intense voice.
"Yes ma'am! Thank you for the wonderful gift!" Chiaki says with the bow of her head.
As well as attempting to hide the fear that Satsuki invoked. It's something the students really wondered about. How does a girl no older than them, develop such a totalitarian style attitude. Yet she respects strength as well as her subordinates from the looks of it. It's not that Satsuki is a tsundere, it appears she has care for others that have her favor.
It appeared that Chiaki herself has earned some respect in the Kiryuin heiress' favor. Perhaps she will be one of those few people Satsuki has some concern for in the future.
"Feel exonerated, while this may be a prototype! You are not one of the many impudent apes in human clothing!" Gamagori said reminding everyone that there's a giant brute in the room.
"Did he just adjust his height?" Akane asked.
Ryota, or at least the student everyone assumed to be Ryota adjusted his eyes, "I think it's a matter of perspective." he said wondering if he could do something similar with his own size.
'It's fine Nagito, this is how humans always act.' Nagito mentally told himself.
"Well I think this is time for another celebration later in the week." Chisa said as her eyes were watery.
"Are you crying Yukizome sensei?" Sonia asked.
"No, the bright light damaged my retinas along with other things." Chisa said as she wasn't sure if Sonia's hair was normally blond or purple. 'I think I need a doctor.' she thought as her colorblindness was in effect.
A while later, at the Reserve Course
As per the usual break between classes. Hajime Hinata absently stared at the main course building. When Natsumi decided to bother him.
"Hey idiot, why are you still staring at that building?" Natsumi asked.
"I already explained why." Hinata simply answered.
"They're not going to let any one of us in. That is, unless someone drops out." Natsumi said with an unnerving grin. "Anything could happen." she said almost as if she was plotting something.
"You shouldn't say things like that." Hinata said knowing who Natsumi is related to by now.
Around the time Nui randomly abducted students for Ragyo Kiryuin's fashion show. Hinata got the chance to interact with some of the other students. At some point, Natsumi flaunted her status as the younger sister of Fuyuhiko, who would one day lead the Kuzuryu clan. A family of organized crime who run the Yakuza. So naturally, an heiress or at least the daughter of the head of the clan would be arrogant.
"Well it doesn't make sense that I'm stuck with all these losers. They have no talent, they're not unique and I hate them. Meanwhile, I am the Ultimate Little Sister!" she complains.
"If you're an ultimate, you wouldn't be here." Hinata responded.
"That's the point! I'm not supposed to be here!" Natsumi said angrily.
"Well you are, otherwise the main course would have accepted you." Hinata said only to infuriate Natsumi.
"It won't matter once one of them drops dead. Maybe a certain photographer." Natsumi said before Sato appeared and slammed her hand onto Hinata's table.
"Again? You really need to cut the crap Natsumi!" Sato said angrily.
"I'm not saying anything Sato. I'm just saying anything could happen." Natsumi said trying to play coy.
Although in reality, while the Kuzuryu clan could likely cover up an accident. There's the fact that deep down, Natsumi isn't as intense as her brother. She wouldn't really go through with anything but a few threats unless she knew her life was at stake.
"Well cut it out! I will protect Mahiru from anyone and anything! Even petty little threats!" Sato said threatening Natsumi.
Natsumi scoffed at her, "Whatever, don't make promises you can't keep." she said making Sato fume.
Hinata decided to intervene just as a crowd formed, "You two need to break it up! This isn't something you should fight about." He said, trying to be the voice of reason.
Natsumi scoffed as she continued taunting Sato. Who in return was raising her voice as she wanted to strangle Natsumi. Luckily, Mahiru was passing by and decided to assist in being a reasonable person. Since no one wanted to listen to Hinata as things were escalating.
"Sato, I think we need to clear your head." Mahiru said as she quickly grabbed her friend's hand and ran.
"Yeah run away all you want! You never know what's coming for you!" Natsumi shouted.
"You really need to stop that." Hinata said, before noticing a look of discouragement on Natsumi's face.
"I have to make it to that course. I need to catch up to my brother." Natsumi muttered before leaving.
Later that day
Not much else happened at school for the rest of the day. At least until Hinata ran into the sight of Sato and Natsumi entering another verbal fight.
"I am not warning you again Natsumi! Stay away from Mahiru!" Sato yelled.
"And I'm saying, I'm not doing anything. Just being realistic here." Natsumi said as she didn't care for Sato's threats.
Sato sneered as she raised her hand to strike Natsumi, "That's enough Sato." Hinata said as he stopped her hand.
Natsumi looked at Sato with a death glare, "You made the worst mistake of your life." she said before storming off.
With Hinata following her to make sure nothing goes go wrong. Meanwhile Sato started to feel a bit mentally unstable. Feeling as if Natsumi really was about to go through with her death threats. Strengthening her mentality towards protecting Mahiru.
'She's evil. I need to protect Mahiru!' Sato thought before running towards another direction.
Meanwhile Hinata approached Natsumi who was by herself, "You didn't need to say that. There's a lot more to life than earning a special title." he tried to say.
But Natsumi didn't want to hear it, "I need to be in there! My brother is the future head of the clan and I'll be dead weight to him!" she said, starting to sound emotional.
"I don't think its the matter of being as good Natsumi. If you really care, why not just stand beside him?" Hinata asked, confusing the girl.
"What's that supposed to mean? You either make it to the top or stay at the bottom." Natsumi she said.
Hinata looked at Natsumi's depressed form as he noticed the tears swell up in her eyes. He wanted to say something encouraging but had nothing. Except for a motivation message that Chiaki gave him during one of their gaming sessions.
"You don't need to be elite or have a special talent to be special." Hinata said.
Natsumi didn't agree, "That's wrong, I can't be the Ultimate Little Sister if my brother is always looking down at me. I do have talent and I need to be in there." she said.
Leaving Hinata silent as he wasn't sure what to do anymore.
The next day
As usual, there was nothing different about the class. Except when Hinata noticed that two of his fellow classmates were missing. It was ironic really, as the two students that were missing were fighting yesterday. For some reason, Hinata didn't feel good about it.
"Uh sensei, Sato and Natsumi are missing." one student said.
"I see, it's probably just emergency outside of school." the teacher said waving it off.
This did not help Hinata feel better.
Later that day
As Hinata walked down his own path. He saw Mahiru again, only she was by herself and on the phone. She looked very concerned and a bit fearful. Hinata had a good idea as to why she felt nervous and decided to approach her.
"Sato please pick up!" Mahiru pleaded as her call went straight to voice mail yet again. "Where are you? Please call me back!" she said before hanging up.
"Excuse me, Mahiru-san?" Hinata called out to her.
Mahiru turned to face Hinata, "Oh can I help you?" she asked.
"My name is Hajime Hinata. I'm in the Reserve Course with Natsumi and Sato." Hinata said introducing himself.
"Oh yeah! I remember, you were also dragged into the fashion show." Mahiru said remembering him. "I still have the photo of that other boy crashing into you. Did you want a copy?" she asked.
Hinata sweat dropped, "No thanks, actually I was hoping to ask you about Sato. Since she wasn't in class today." he said.
Mahiru went back to looking worried, "No I don't. I keep calling her but she isn't answering." she answered. "Why? Is there something wrong?" she asked.
"I don't want to blame anyone or assume anything bad, but yesterday afternoon. Natsumi and Sato were fighting again." Hinata answered, making Mahiru feel even worse. "It felt too coincidental, but like I said. I reallly don't want to assume anything bad is happening." he said.
"I don't think so either. Sato is just a good friend. She can be defensive at times since we were classmates with Natsumi in middle school. So she knows how to press the right buttons to make Sato mad." Mahiru said hoping for the best as well.
"If it helps, I don't think Natsumi is really willing to go through with her threats." Hinata told her.
"You think so?" Mahiru asked, not sure if she should believe him.
"I think she just feels insecure lately. She told me about her brother who's in the Main Course and feels that he's going to look down on her for not making it." Hinata explained. "Although I'm not defending her because of her words. It's just that, the stress and the envy makes some of us say things we don't really mean." he added.
Mahiru nodded, "I see, it kind of makes sense. I always felt like we could get over this. To be fair, it's not really about talent or being elite." she said making Hinata remember Chiaki's words.
"That makes sense." Hinata said before remembering something. "Though do you mind not saying anything about my talk with Natsumi?" he asked.
Mahiru giggled, "Are you threatening me too?" she asked jokingly.
"I'm more afraid of her telling on me." Hinata answered.
At this went on, Hinata and Mahiru didn't notice the several figures that were watching them from a distance. One of them being Chiaki who smiled at Hinata being able to comfort her classmate.
The day after
Hinata felt a bit better thinking helped Mahiru feel hopeful. Although that didn't stop him from getting nervous. Maybe he was just getting a bad case of anxiety or something, but Sato and Natsumi still haven't appeared. There was no real news except from a few rumors about the shouting match those two had a couple days ago. Like news media, the teenagers enjoyed twisting the news and preferred twisting the information they have to satisfy their delusions.
Hinata didn't want to deal with it. It was just a bunch of crap to entertain everyone. One rumor that Natsumi called upon the Kuzuryu clan to kill Sato and hide the body. With Natsumi keeping a low profile as to avoid legal issues. Some rumors said it was the other way around and that Sato went into hiding. People had fun making up rumors and spreading them, but in the end. If something like that happened to them or around them, the teenagers would be in panic and terrified.
Instead of sheep flocking towards a single path, they would have been chickens running without their heads.
'This is only building up more stress. I may be average, but the local events sure aren't.' Hinata thought before hearing ringing. "What is that?" he asked himself before looking around.
Hinata tried to look around wondering if someone dropped their phone as the hallway he was in was empty. He looked around as thoroughly as he could before the ringing stopped. Hinata cursed his luck as the ringing made it easier to pinpoint. Luckily, after a few moments of silence, the ringing continued again. In the place he really didn't want to put his hand through.
"I guess it's better than the toilet." Hinata said as he approached a trash bin. After a couple of seconds of digging, he pulled out a flip phone, "Who could be calling?" he asked before reading the caller id.
Mahiru Koizumi
Seeing that name, Hinata answered quickly, "Hello, Mahiru! This is Hajime!" he exclaimed.
"Oh thank… H-Hajime? W-Why do you have Sato's phone?" Mahiru asked nervously.
"If tension wasn't so high right now. I'd crack a joke about her tossing this one out for a new phone. Because I just found this in the trash bin." Hajime answered.
"The trash? Why would Sato throw away her phone?" Mahiru asked.
"I don't know, but I really don't like this. Maybe there's someone I can report this to." Hinata suggested.
"Well it would make sense. But still, I feel like there's something wrong." Mahiru said.
"I get what you mean. I keep telling myself it's anxiety, but those two haven't had a good relationship. I swear they were fighting right before the Revocs CEO arrived to present her fashion show." Hinata explained.
Mahiru also wanted to chalk it off as anxiety, "I see, but I seriously have my doubts. Sato is a good person, she wouldn't harm Natsumi and if what you said is right. There shouldn't be anything wrong." she said.
Hinata nodded, "I'm also hoping I'm right. Listen, I'll turn this into the office in the main course building right now. Maybe they contact Sato and see if everything is alright." he said.
"Thank you Hinata. Maybe I should stop by her house later today too." Mahiru replied.
"Your welcome and goodbye." Hinata said.
"Goodbye." Mahiru said, bidding fairwell.
Some time later, at the gate
Hinata really wondered if security guards are just doing their job and if he was just being impatient. Or that they're naturally rude like an angry customer trying to return an item without the receipt. Because it may sound biased, but it felt like the latter.
"I just want to turn something in! It will be quick!" Hinata pleaded with the security guard.
"No Reserve Course Students allowed!" the guard repeated.
Is he some kind of robot?
"Then could I turn this into you?" Hinata asked, trying a different route.
"I cannot accept that. The academy nor security is liable if personal items end up lost or stolen." the guard said.
"Then is there someone else I can talk to?" Hinata asked when he was grabbed by the shoulder.
Before he could react, he was flipped over by the head security guard. The Former Ultimate Boxer, Juzo Sakakura. Who looked less likely to talk things out. Rather if possible, Juzo was more ready to speak through his fists.
"Beat it kid, you're not wanted. So get it through your head and leave." Juzo said.
Hinata struggled to stand, "I just wanted to return some lost property." he said as he presented the phone.
Juzo scoffed, "I already said to leave and take you trash with you." he said rudely. "Just because you suddenly became friends with one or two ultimates and somehow got in during that fashion show fiasco." he said taking it a bit far.
Hinata glared at the older man, "There could be something wrong and I want to return this property. Yet you're so adamant about not letting me in because I don't have a fancy title." he said sounding angry by the minute.
"If you're referring to those two girls. They could end up in body bags and the world would still turn." Juzo said not caring for Natsumi and Sato's lives.
"Is that what you believe? You bastard!" Hinata yelled and with the loss of common sense, he threw his punch and missed.
Where Juzo counter punched him in the stomach, "You think just because you hang out with a couple of elites, you think you're their equal don't you?" he asked as Hinata fell to his knees. "You're not an elite and frankly, normals like you make me sick. You're nothing special." he said.
"You're wrong! Talent isn't everything!" Hinata argued.
"You're on to something." Juzo said as he put his foot onto Hinata's shoulder. "People like you need to get smart and serve your masters. Because arrogant drones like you are what's wrong with the world." he said coldly before Hinata pushed the foot off of his back.
"So what? Because we're not one of your precious elites. We're not important!" Hinata yelled before throwing his fists again.
"You're not, I already said so." Juzo said as he avoided every attack.
When suddenly Juzo let his guard down and Hinata landed a blow. Not a single scratch or a simple blow to the body. Instead, Hinata's fist landed against Juzo's cheek and almost dislocated it. Despite this, Hinata stumbled around and started panting as if he were running a marathon. Juzo on the other hand started to sneer.
"You little punk, I'm going to send you to the hospital." Juzo said as he now intended to injure Hinata.
Before the blow could land. The hilt of a sword appeared and blocked the attack. Juzo reeled his fist back and cradled it as if he had just punched steel. Before noticing that he was facing Satsuki who suddenly appeared between the two of them.
"I think you're overdoing your job." Satsuki said.
Juzo growled, "This punk attacked me because I wouldn't let him in." he said.
Satsuki gave Hinata a brief glance, "That did happen, I did witness it. However, by grabbing him and throwing him aside. Most institutions do not allow physical contact as it can be considered assault" she said. "It's not what I recommend but I also witnessed you verbally tearing a boy inferior to you in strength. Last time I checked, your duty is to protect. Not to give your opinion like a schoolgirl who was asked out by a cute boy." she said even more coldly.
"It's still my duty to remind him where he belongs." Juzo tried to argue.
"It is, but you clearly lack that. Not only that, but with your mentality, I hate to question the legitimacy of your capability to protect this school." Satsuki said making Juzo narrow his eyes. "I am not an elite according to your definition. Am I trash? Would my death mean nothing to the world? I have obtained the loyalty and respect of an entire class, and yet I am respected by Honnoji Academy itself. Am I worthless!?" She asked.
Juzo wanted to answer the question but felt a great pain against his fist. Not from the initial hit but as if he had been repeatedly beaten. For Juzo Sakakura may have been the Ultimate Boxer, but felt as if he were a caveman fighting a demigod. All he could see was himself being repeatedly locked in a gladiatorial arena where the demigod was constantly killing him with ease.
Juzo almost fell to his knees as he could feel Satsuki's dangerous aura. This was no ordinary girl. Ordinary girls are empty headed, more concerned with vanity and care more about status in popularity than control. But this, this girl that Satsuki Kiriyuin is, she's not some ordinary child. No spoiled heiress, she's a leader in the making.
'She's not normal. It's like I'm talking to Kyosuke but a bit more aggressive.' Juzo thought as he almost saw an image of Kyosuke Munakata in Satsuki's place.
"I've chosen my words very poorly." Juzo said as he winced.
"Now then, what was this about a phone?" Satsuki asked, facing Hinata.
A few minutes later
After a brief talk with Hinata. Satsuki promised to see that the phone would be kept in a safe place. Although in reality, she saw to it that the phone would be turned into Sato herself. As she knew the truth of what was going on, but wasn't too worried about the whole stress that the school was going through. As she predicted that the students were being idiots and spreading gossip to entertain themselves.
"Like sheep following the herd. Any day now, they will lose their heads and still run around like poultry." Satsuki said before Gamagori appeared.
"Did something take away your attention Lady Satsuki?" Gamagori asked.
"Just that Hajime boy. He was trying to turn in a lost device." Satsuki answered as she presented Sato's phone.
Gamagori narrowed his eyes, "I see, it's the phone I threw away. Such devices should not be around in schools during educational hours." he said.
Satsuki nodded, "The only concern I have is that it's been over a day. Meaning the trash was taken away. A poor grade in sanitation is what I see." she said. "That aside, what concerned me is that brute that Munakata-san is associated with. I am not one to gossip. However, while I do agree in some ways of one person's worth. I believe Sakakura uses the wrong grading material." she explained.
"How so Lady Satsuki?" Gamagori asked with interest.
"One example is self worth Gamagori. It sounds cliche, but one must have pride and work to become greater. Secondly, a simple title or a unique skill is not always enough." Satsuki explained.
"I see, that's why you wanted to test these students. Especially with Lady Ragyo's sudden interest as well." Gamagori said.
"Why of course, I am glad to see you catch on so quickly." Satsuki answered with a smirk.
Meanwhile Gamagori thought back to the incident prior to when the girls went missing.
Flashback, early Monday Morning
"HEY!" Natsumi yelled as Gamagori lifted her up.
"This is a place for learning! You can fight after hours or in the gym!" Gamagori yelled into Natsumi's face, making her pale.
Meanwhile Sato's phone started to go off, "Crap, I forgot to set it to vibrate." she said.
When Gamagori suddenly confescated it, "No personal devices allowed either!" he yelled before taking the phone and tossing it into the trash.
"Hey! You can't just toss that away!" Sato yelled.
Gamagori lifted her up as well, "I have no time for your complaining! It's time you two learn to settle things out!" he said before taking them against their will.
End of flashback
"We certainly made an impression with the Kuzuryu clan." Gamgori commented.
"We did, although I am sure that the Oyabun would prefer to have his men train harder. As to avoid a high schooler from just strolling in with ease." Satsuki said remembering how easy it was to dispatch the Yakuza guards. "Speaking of which, I noticed that Reserve Course student's fight. While I do not condone needless fighting, there was something off about him." she explained.
"Oh? And what did you observe Lady Satsuki?" Gamagori asked.
"It was strange, despite his size and lack of combat ability. Hinata was able to almost break Sakakura's jaw despite the man being a superior fighter due to his talent and his experience in fighting." Satsuki answered.
"Could it be that he got too cocky?" Gamagori suggested.
"I thought that too, but Hinata immediately became fatigued. As if he had just lifted a box filled with cinderblocks right after the punch." Satsuki answered.
"How strong do you think he really is if you do not mind me asking?" Gamagori asked.
Satsuki closed her eyes for a moment and rewinded the scene in her head, "I would need another observation, but I woulds say that if Sakakura let his guard down all the way. Hinata could have knocked him unconscious with ease." she answered.
"Could it just be natural strength?" Gamagori asked, wanting to see her leader's opinion.
"Yes and no, I may be too quick to judge, but I feel as if Hinata himself is as strong as an underdeveloped Goku Uniform. Possibly just below the league of the prototype that Nanami is wearing." Satsuki answered.
Gamagori accepted the theory for now. He didn't want to correct Satsuki or disagree with her as it sounded like Hajime Hinata was hiding something. Even if the boy himself wasn't aware of it himself.
End of the day
Hinata winced as he had ice being placed against his sides. At the same time, Chiaki looked a bit worried. She couldn't believe what had happened to her friend outside of class. At first, Hajime seemed hesitant against revealing his confrontation with Juzo but Chiaki started to notice his pain. It was only through a seemingly rough but brief argument that Hajime finally agreed to talk about.
Luckily, Mikan Tsumiki was just walking out of the building while they were talking. Both unaware that this was because she got into a small accident that caused her to take a couple more minutes to exit the school. So Chiaki asked her classmate for some help for Hinata seeing as his gut was still hurting a lot. It likely helped for Mikan to understand as he was punched by the Ultimate Boxer.
"I recommend you run next time Hinata-san. It's best if you completely avoid confrontation." Mikan said before thinking over the words she used. "I'm sorry! I don't mean to call you a coward! Please forgive me!" she pleaded.
"It's fine Tsumiki-san, I'm just glad I have someone nice willing to help. Well, someone Chiaki knew." Hinata replied.
Mikan was getting teary eyed at what she thought was a compliment. Chiaki could assume that's what was going on in the Ultimate Nurse's head. Hinata on the other hand, thought he said something to offend her and she was feeling sensitive.
"I'm sorry! Was it something I said!?" Hinata asked frantically.
"N-No, y-you're so kind is all." Mikan answered before finishing up. "Also, if you're comfortable with it. I wouldn't mind if I could check for bruises just in case." she said.
Hinata sighed, "Sure." he said as he was already in his muscle shirt.
However when he was forced to raise up his shirt. Both Mikan and Chiaki blushed at the sight underneath. At least it was a good way for Hinata to know that Juzo hasn't disfigured him or injured him.
"Well it might be just some minor pains that could heal with some ice and a pain killer if it lasts for more than a day." Mikan said.
"His bones aren't broken are they?" Chiaki asked.
"I can't tell but I have doubts they are." Mikan said as even her level of nursing has limits.
"Can't you just touch it?" Hinata asked making Mikan squeal and Chiaki turn bright red.
"Please don't make me!" Mikan pleaded as she flailed her arms around before slipping.
Hinata quickly caught her in his arms, "Are you alright?" he asked.
Mikan whined a bit before nodding, "Thank you." she said, not feeling comfortable around Hinata.
For some reason, Chiaki pouted, 'Stupid quick time event.' she thought, referencing another game trope.
Hinata gritted his teeth as he felt pain in his sides, "I think I need those pain killers now." he said.
"Did someone need medicine?" Hinata turned to see Seiko Kimura standing a few feet away. She also blushed at his muscularity, "Actually never mind, I need to go… this way!" she said before running away.
"Am I ugly or something?" Hinata asked, unaware of why every girl around him is turning red.
Chiaki quickly picked up Hinata's clothes, "Just please get dressed." she pleaded.
Mikan nodded rapidly, "She's right! We're lucky Gamagori-san and Satsuki-san aren't here!" she said knowing both would get mad and punish Hinata for "stripping" in public.
Both unaware that they were being watched, but not by Satsuki herself. Instead, Nui was sitting on the roof with her umbrella covering her back.
"Wow, Ragyo-sama does see good things in him. I bet those muscles aren't from protein and exercise." Nui said as she jumped down and landed without injury. "Life fiber babies are so unique." she said before strolling away.
Two days later, in class
Things at the school have calmed down quite quickly. All the rumors were finally put to rest as Sato and Natsumi returned safely. It was actually a weird story that Fuyuhiko learned about after the day those two supposedly disappeared. At least now he calmed Mahiru down with the story he had to tell.
Flashback
It was another normal day for Fuyuhiko upon returning home. As usual, Peko was escorting him as it was her duty as a bodyguard. Luckily, it was another day without incident. Until they arrived that is. Fuyuhiko was shocked to find the entrance to his home was ransacked with the unconscious bodies of the Yakuza bodyguards who were in charge of guarding his home. Along with any other Yakuza who were around on business.
This did not look good and it only looked more suspicious as no one was dead. There few gunshots, no signs of blood or forced entry. It was as if the intruder just walked in and decided to beat everyone up. Although, the bodies all looked greatly injured as if they dealt with a trained fighter rather than an assassin.
"Pekoyama! I want backup here now and this punk(s) caught!" Fuyuhiko ordered before opening the next doors to the living room.
Where he found his father sitting down and enjoying tea with Satsuki and Gamagori. In the corner, Natsumi and Sato were both tied up and on the ground. This looked intimidating and he wasn't sure what to make of this scene.
"What's going on here father?" Fuyuhiko asked.
The Kuzuryu head and leader of this branch of Yakuza calmly took a sip of tea with a single hand and put it down right after. He cleared his throat and kept a straight face as if nothing was happening. Clearly it was out fear (which it wasn't) or there was just a simple misunderstanding that really needed to be cleared up.
"Sit down son." The patriarch said as Fuyuhiko did as told with Peko standing beside him. "As you can see, the Kiryuin heiress wanted to visit and pay her own form of respect. Unfortunately, things got a bit out of hand." he said referring to the unconscious bodies.
"I think I already saw that. Was it the brute?" Fuyuhiko asked, referring to Gamagori who sat calmly and enjoyed his tea.
"I take offense to name calling, but no. Lady Satsuki will take credit for all of that." Gamagori said shocking Fuyuhiko and Peko.
Peko winced as she felt her pride and honor was damaged. While loyal to the clan, she had doubts about her current level to be able to defeat this many gangsters in a single attack. With the signs of elegance and efficiency to defeat them without spilling blood.
"The first group were too distracted and caught off guard. It was only when I entered the home that they became serious. Yet I never released my Bakuzan sword from it's hilt." Satsuki said shocking Peko more.
'So she used it, but without releasing the blade?' Peko thought.
'The old man is right. The Kiryuin's aren't just pretty faces or people flashing their money.' Fuyuhiko thought as this was another experience of the Kiryuin heiress's power.
For the patriarch, he was also surprised to see the level of skill of Satsuki to just defeat so many of his grunts to be taken down. He was very sure he would have many of them disciplined for not being able to last so long or get serious right away. Regardless, despite his respect for Ragyo, he never imagined the strength and efficiency of Satsuki in person. To use only her sword hilt as weapon as well physical combat when necessary. Meanwhile she just ordered Gamagori to gently place Sato and Natsumi down.
Although it is his fault to begin with. After all, how should the Yakuza react when some teenage girl breaks into the home of their boss and carries in his daughter like a hostage?
"It would have been more difficult if Majima was here." the patriarch said.
"I guess that's why this place is still clean." Fuyuhiko said knowing how Majima's insanity matches his strength. "Anyways, why is this going on?" he asked as he pointed to Natsumi and Sato.
Satsuki took another long sip before answering, "As from what I could understand. These two were entering a shouting match until Gamagori took it upon himself to discipline them himself." she started. "Starting with restraint as to avoid a fight. Now we were just making the two understand why battles are not acceptable during hours of education." she said.
Satsuki was fine with fighting as a way to deal with disagreements. Although that didn't mean she was okay with it at Honnoji during normal hours or inside the classes. The only time she wants to see that is if the Disciplinary Committee is chasing down a fool who broke the rules. OTherwise, everyone is free to fight away from school and somewhere more private. Preferably if it doesn't end with creating destruction or other forms of harm.
Sato and Natsumi were lucky that Satsuki is being nice and not letting them get hanged over the gates of the Reserve Course building.
"I see." Fuyuhiko said.
"Yes, now I'm hoping that my daughter and her classmate learn better than to fight. Especially when Natsumi is not much of a fighter." Fuyuhiko's father said as Natsumi blushed.
If Sato wasn't scared at the fact she was in the home of the Yakuza boss man as well as the fact that Satsuki was more dangerous than his goons. She would have likely either sighed at the thought of Natsumi's bullshit or laughing at how much confidence the girl lacks.
"Of course, leave it to my sister to cause trouble." Fuyuhiko said with a sigh.
Peko decided to keep her opinion to herself as usual. Mainly because she didn't comprehend how things escalated this way. Then again, there are worse alternatives to how the fight between the girls could have ended.
End of flashback
Chisa clapped happily, "Well it's good to hear that Satsuki helped resolve the issue." she said despite feeling a bit worried about Satsuki's methods.
"Hopefully those annoying rumors die down." Hiyoko said.
"I'm sure everyone who's bored out of their minds will make up something." Akane said with some doubts.
"There's always something bound to go on at this school." Fuyuhiko said knowing Natsumi was just a start.
"That reminds me, the second year students should be having their mid term exams." Chisa announced.
However something was a midst, "Has anyone seen Nagito?" Kazuichi asked as he looked around.
"Restroom maybe?" Ryota asked.
Some time later
Despite his demand for the exams to be postponed. Nagito was going through with his plans and threats after setting up the explosive charges in the gymnasium where they were holding the exams. Within his bag were the charges where he would activate the explosives from a remote distance. His plan would have gone through until Seiko ran into him and dropped the bags. Unfortunately, the two bags got switched during the accident and their likeness confused them as to which bag was which.
"I'm sorry kohai!" Seiko said as she picked up the wrong bag.
"It's alright senpai, also the medicine you recommended worked wonders." Nagito said gratefully, making Seiko feel proud.
"I'm glad to hear it. Oh no! I'm going to be late!" Seiko said as she ran towards the next corner. Only to bump into Satsuki this time, "Satsuki-san!?" she asked.
"The bag! I need to do a random search!" Satsuki ordered.
"Search? Okay, here." Seiko said hoping it would go quickly. Only to find the detonator, "Wh-what!? T-That's not mine! P-Please believe me! I would never…!"
"Be silent, someone of your caliber would never resort to such things." Satsuki said before noticing Nagito walking away from the corner.
At the exams
It was finally Ruruka's turn to be tested. In front of her were the various judges who would be eating her sweets. She was naturally confident as well as excited. Especially once all of them started eating and looked like they were rejuvenated.
"This is amazing! You've really went all out Ando-san!" said a happy judge.
"Of course! Although my sweets are naturally amazing, I'm always careful when making them!" Ruruka said as she almost mixed up a laxative when approaching Seiko the day before.
"That's great to hear, unless anyone else has anything to say…" the judge trailed off just as the door was kicked down.
"Everyone get out now!" yelled a green haired teen in a white three star Goku uniform.
The judge stood up, "Young man! Who do you think you are barging in here during the exam!?" he asked.
"I am Uzu Sanageyama and someone rigged this place to explode!" Sanageyama answered as everyone started to panic.
As everyone started trying to run or find some way to escape in general. Security and staff tried to keep everyone calm and stay seated. As they thought Sanageyama was just some delinquent trying to cause trouble. Especially the judges who wanted him escorted out. Although that was not going to happen by a long shot.
"Security, escort this trespasser at once!" one judge ordered only for Sanageyama to jump over them and head straight for the judges.
Ruruka panicked and tried to hide thinking Uzu was about to attack him. When her boyfriend, Sonosuke, ran up to the stage and prepared his blade weapons. Sonosuke charged at Sanageyama with great strength and speed, only to have his weapons knocked out of his hands and take a kick to the face.
"I'm not here to fight." Sanageyama said ignoring Sonosuke's emotionless expression. Where he would then grab one of the Blacksmith's knives and a plate of sweets, "But I will take these." he said before jumping around until he reached the explosives.
"Someone get that boy down from here!" another judge ordered before Gamagori also bursted through the doors with more Honnoji students in Goku Uniforms.
"I need everyone to leave the building in a safe and orderly fashion! You must all evacuate while the situation is being handled!" Gamgori yelled as everyone panicked again.
"There is a bomb!"
"Run for your lives!"
Everyone screamed in terror as they tried to run. When Gamagori suddenly turned into a giant yet again and started screaming. Showing why he is proud to be the head of the disciplinary committee.
"I SAID SAFE AND ORDERLY FASHION!" Gamagori screamed, forcing everyone into submitting and leaving in an organized line. "I swear, I've seen maggots walk in a more neat fashion during a Christmas sale." he mutters as his subordinates help everyone leave.
Meanwhile Sanageyama was setting up a camera and connecting to his other teammate. Among Satsuki's clique, the Four Divas, she had a professional and talented hacker named Houka Inumuta. Satsuki found him after he successfully broke into her mother's company with a single laptop and managed to evade the security guards that found him. At least until the hacker ran into Satsuki herself.
Now he was one of the four most loyal students working under Satsuki. Alongside Sanageyama, Gamagori and a childhoold friend named Nonon Jakuzure.
"How bad as it Inumuta?" Sanageyama asked with urgency.
"I recommend starting with a short blade. That sword of yours will do more damage than good. After that, show me the layout." Inumuta instructed as Sanageyama pulled out Sonosuke's knife. "Hmm, a bit intricate but nothing too difficult. If I am right, someone as blind as you could handle it easily." he added.
"Hey, quit it with the witty remarks!" Sanageyama said angrily.
"Very well, start with the connection to the explosive itself." Inumuta said as Uzu adjusted the main explosive.
Elsewhere, with Chisa
The teacher of Class 77 found herself running at speeds beyond her limits. To the point her whole body was sweating as she dashed across the courtyard of the school. Although wearing a big dress was probably one of the reasons she was being slowed down. Regardless, it looked like she wasn't about to make it in time to stop whatever Nagito was doing.
Only to find the pale boy awkwardly laughing as Satsuki was lifting him by the back of his shirt. Satsuki on the other hand, was less than amused. Better yet, she was literally anything but amused.
"Uh, what happened?" Chisa asked fearfully.
"This child has chosen to arm explosives in the gym. How he obtained these resources, I do not know just yet." Satsuki said.
"I will explain just after…" Nagito trailed off as the sound of the roof breaking was heard.
All three of them and nearby students watched as Sanageyama was high in the air and proceeded to kick the dynamite while it's timer was approaching 0 seconds. With his agility, the swordsmen managed to land safely and without harm. Hopefully no one would get hurt by the smoke caused by the explosion.
"Bomb has been neutralized." Sanageyama said with a smirk.
Only for Inumuta to ruin it, "Yes, neutralized and now the pollution has been added to the ozone layer. That's if you do not consider the smoke and dust raining down on any poor soul. At the very least, you managed to disconnect the main explosives from the rest of the set." he said.
Sanageyama groaned loudly, "Smart ass." he said before disconnecting with the hacker.
"At least that was resolved." Satsuki said as Chisa paled at the sight of the explosion.
"Nagito, please tell me there's a good explanation for this." Chisa pleaded.
"That depends on your definition of good. If you mean detailed rather than moral, then yes. I do have a good explanation." Nagito explained.
Chisa sighed, "I hope it's good enough for our disciplinary committee." she said.
Satsuki scoffed, "If this were Honnoji, he would like get the death penalty." she said making Chisa freak out.
Nagito nodded, "I guess my luck hasn't turned against me after all." he said thinking that the incident with the bags being mixed up was a bad omen.
"Could I please have my real bag back?" Seiko asked.
"I think the real question is why bother with the detonator if it's timed?" Satsuki asked.
"I wanted to cover every detail." Nagito answered.
But at least Seiko got her bag back. Although it did not matter as the exams would be postponed anyways.
A day later
After holding a hearing in response to Nagito's actions. Which normally would be considered an act of terrorism. Chisa attempted to take the blame for not preventing this accident as she was his teacher. Which did reduce Nagito's punishment down to an extended suspension. Followed by Chisa being demoted to teaching at the Reserve Course until the beginning of the next semester after summer. Although that in itself was painful considering how much Chisa adored her students and vice versa.
Yet with this, that left the problem of who was take her place during the remaining days of the semester. Until the former principal, Kazuo Tengan had an idea and it started with inviting Satsuki into the office.
"You wished to see me?" Satsuki asked after ordering Gamagori to guard the doorway.
Tengan was the first to greet the teenage girl, "Yes Satsuki, it's actually good to see you after so long. You've grown so much from a little girl with big ambitions to a young woman who can enact her ambitions." he said as he took a photo out from his pocket.
Koichi, the former teacher of Class 77, took a peak at the photo along with Jin and both looked rather scared. All they saw was a mean looking little girl with a wooden katana while wearing a primary school uniform. Alongside her was Ragyo and her late father Isshin, with the latter shaking Tengan's hand. Although Tengan was very sure that Isshin either faked his death or Ragyo attempted to kill him by sabotaging his car.
Although good they were good friends, Tengan didn't have every detail about what Ragyo was doing. All he knew was that something bad happened and it was related to Ragyo's second pregnancy. Initially, he thought it was a miscarriage and that Ragyo didn't care about the child's death. Little did the middle aged man know that there was something bigger going on.
"Having ambition and attempting to reach your goals are two separate entirely things." Satsuki replied as she refers to the past as her progress report.
"Good to know, please have a seat. We have much to discuss." Tengan said as Satsuki took a seat on the couch.
"I can see you made an impression on my former students. I'm Koichi Kizakura by the way, I used to instruct Class 77 before Chisa." Koichi said with a wave.
"Greetings Kizakura, when I met them I believed them to be slackers and that Yukizome-san lacked the will to keep them controlled." Satsuki stated bluntly as she closed her eyes. Then opened them again, "When in reality, they were all relaxed but functioning when ordered too. I suppose this is the result of different leadership styles." she said.
That part scared most of the men. Although it was true, there are different leadership styles. Some being fair and nice, treating comrades and subordinates like family. Then there's Satsuki's who's difficult and has high expectations, but treats underlings with humanity when reaching their goals. Strength is always a big thing for most leaders, but it's not necessarily physical strength. Sometimes the mind or charisma will do.
"I see this much potential in Chiaki Nanami. Seeing as she manages to keep her class in high spirits as well as standing up and disciplining them when necessary. Preferably, I would see to it that the food chain becomes a daily reminder." Satsuki continued.
Everyone knew about the incident with Teruteru being punched for trying to attack Hiyoko. Although Chiaki did plead with the Ultimate Tradition Dancer to not do something as crazy as putting aphrodisiac in food again.
"And as you know, Yukizome has been demoted to teaching the Reserve Course. Only temporarily though." Jin spoke up.
This did surprise Satsuki, 'Did Yukizome-sensei really go that far to defend a single student?' she thought. "I see, how disappointing to hear. Will Kizakura be stepping back into his former possession?" she asked.
"I'm afraid not, I still have some important duties. Which is why I had to step down the first time." Koichi answered.
"Actually, we were hoping to have you consider taking her place. I mean after all, your own grades at Honnoji as well your certification as a teacher's aide make you almost qualified as a teacher." Jin said after reading more into Satsuki's personal files.
To be honest, this sounded like a bad idea. One missing quite a lot of logic, but despite how bad Honnoji Academy looks. Satsuki keeps everyone in line in a seemingly lawless town. It doesn't look like it but the education is pretty fair as long as no one is slacking off or causing trouble. Jin could even say that the Reserve Course and regular students from Honnoji could fair against government mandated exams.
"Would that be wise?" Satsuki asked with narrow eyes.
Jin started to look nervous, "We are not hoping to force you, but with your own way of leading as well as the impact you've made recently. It does seem like one option we should consider. That is, if Honnoji Academy accepts this idea." he said.
To tell the truth, Satsuki literally runs the place. As Ragyo controls a Revocs and has an important position in the school's board of education. Which helped Satsuki rise to power and lead Honnoji into becoming more than just a desolate building and potential warzone. If someone capable could handle her tasks, Honnoji Academy should be fine.
"I suppose it would be an interesting experience." Satsuki said as she thought it over. When she suddenly gave a predatory grin, "I suppose these so called elite still need a strong leader to push them even further. I am not replacement or copy of Yukizome-sensei but I am the only one who will push their talents in directions they never dreamed of." she said.
Suddenly Jin started to cower behind his desk while Koichi was hiding his head under his hat before taking cover behind the couch. They heard stories of the wildest teenagers in schools. Yet Satsuki was terrifying and she embodies the opposite qualities of delinquents everywhere. Meanwhile Tengan was used to it as Ragyo is much more intense but less direct compared to her daughter.
"So are you accepting the offer Satsuki-chan?" Tengan asked.
"I will, I will see to it that Class 77 is ready for their temporary teacher. Do not expect any nonsense from them. I am not as soft as Yukizome-sensei but I give credit when it's due." Satsuki said as she stood up and walked towards the door. "However, that does not mean my own assignments are as easy." she said with another predatory grin that made Koichi shiver and Gin look for something to use as a shield.
Tengan merely chuckled at the girl's determination, 'She gets it from her mother. I wonder what you think Isshin.' he thought as Satsuki left the office.
"Gamagori, I want your committee to prepare a new set of textbooks. One to convert the system of Hopes Peak to combine with Honnoji." Satsuki ordered.
"Yes ma'am!" Gamagori said with a salute.
"What have we done?" Jin asked only for Tengan to ignore him.
'I should speak with Munakata. Maybe review the information Satsuki had shared with him.' Tengan thought as he stroked his beard.
That afternoon, with Chisa
Chisa sighed as she looked at the main course building before leaving for the afternoon. It was disheartening to say the least that she wouldn't see her students for a while. But she wanted to stand up for her student, Nagito. Even if what he did was very extreme.
"Yukizome sensei?" Chisa turned around to spot Hinata.
"Hajime is it?" Chisa asked, hoping she didn't forget his name. Hinata nodded, "Are you staying late?" she asked.
"Only for a minute, Chiaki always likes to hang out around this time." Hinata answered.
Chisa giggled, "I see, so you've been helping her feel a bit more lively lately." she said.
Hinata blushed, "I wouldn't say that. I think Chiaki has been helping me, more than I've been helping her." he replied.
"Oh don't be so modest!" Chisa said happily.
"No, I'm really being honest." Hinata said trying to sound truthful. "Anyways, what brings you out here Yukizome-sensei? You seem a bit distressed." he asked.
Chisa frowned, "If you haven't heard, there was an accident that was prevented thanks to Satsuki-san's interference. It unfortunately caused one of my students to be suspended and for me to temporarily be demoted to teaching the reserve course." she said.
"Oh, you're not going to see your students for a while." Hinata said feeling bad for the teacher.
"Yes, but… I'm sure whoever will take my place will take good care of them. Besides, I have faith that their class president will help them pull through." Chisa said trying to be cheerful.
"I'm sure they will to." Hinata said agreeing with her.
Before Chisa left, she looked at Hinata one last time, "And please look out for Chiaki too. I know she needs the support in case she has self doubts." she said.
Hinata froze up for a moment before nodding, "I'll do my best." he promised.
"That's all I wanted to hear." Chisa said before leaving for the day, just as Chiaki came out.
"Sorry I'm late, did something happen?" Chiaki asked.
"Not much, just thinking about the future." Hinata said cryptically.
"I don't like puzzle games. Just give me the hint Hajime." Chiaki said with a pout and Hinata awkwardly laughing at her references.
The next day
The class was a bit saddened with the sudden departure of Chisa. Some would blame Nagito, but others wanted to find ways to blame the school as they didn't want to betray their trust in Nagito. Overall, everyone was disappointed and weren't sure about the potential substitute they would have. Some wondered if Koichi was coming back and even then, they didn't think it would be the same.
They were right about that much. Before they knew it, Gamagori kicked the door opened and squeezed through the door with a stack of books that Satsuki requested.
"Everyone stand up for roll call!" Gamagori commanded, causing everyone to stiffen.
"Don't tell me this guy is the new teacher. How old is he?" Kazuichi asked.
"I'm turning 19 later this year!" Gamagori answered.
"Isn't that old for a high school student?" Teruteru asked.
"Yeah, but he's clearly too young to be a teacher!" Hiyoko pointed out.
"I request to see credentials or at least a valid teaching experience!" Sonia exclaimed.
"Everyone be quiet! I am not your teacher, but I am prepping you for the one filling until Yukizome-sensei returns!" Gamagori yelled as he got the daily basics done with everyone still looking frightened by the intense man.
When suddenly, Satsuki arrived in all her glory. Once again blinding most of the class who were not prepared for her usual dramatic appearance. Although some such as Kazuichi prepared for her as he had some sunglasses specially made in her garage. With a few students being able to avoid going blind by all of the flashing lights around Satsuki.
"These sunglasses do work! You should make protective eyewear for the scientists of my country." Sonia said to Kazuichi who blushed.
"Be silent and focus!" Satsuki demanded as her sword sheath hit the floor. "As you are aware, Chisa Yukizome has unfortunately been demoted. Although temporarily, I will be taking her place and instructing you all. Do not expect to be pampered like infants, but expect the same quality of leadership!" she exclaimed.
Chiaki slowly raised her hand up, "Um Satsuki-san, are you qualified to be instructing?" she asked bravely.
Everyone was sure their favorite classmate was about to die or be tortured. Gundham was already going through his bag for a book meant for funerals and last rites. Although meant for animals, he was looking for good verses in case Chiaki met her demise. Luckily for Chiaki, she already earned Satsuki's respect by remaining calm and asking a question without interrupting her.
"I am very qualified, in fact I could legally qualify as a teacher's aide. Although it doesn't count as much as a co-ed teacher. There are only so few who match the same qualifications as myself." Satsuki said confidently.
"But what about your own school? Don't you need to return when the cultural exchange ends?" Kazuichi asked, behind false bravery.
"I have it handled. Why do you ask? Do you fear me?" Satsuki asked with that predatory smile returning.
'Yes." Kazuichi mentally answered.
"Or do you just fear that I will fail you?" Satsuki also asked.
'Both sound bad.' Kazuichi mentally answered.
"Regardless, Gamagori will be handing you the new textbooks and guidelines. Not much has changed but things will be a tad more strict." Satsuki said as Gamagori accidentally smashed a table with a book.
"Teacher, I need a new desk." Akane said pointing at the pile of splinters caused by the book.
"Your desk's strength reflects on your will. You must rebuild it on your own." Satsuki said as Akane wanted to curse. "Anyways, the only thing you should be concerned with today is how quickly you clean up at the end of the day." she said.
"That doesn't sound too bad." Mahiru said making everyone mentally curse.
Satsuki tapped her sheath against the floor again, "Within a span of five minutes." she added.
This was going to be a painful semester. Summer could not come any faster. Although everyone was afraid that if they went to the beach, a pool or anywhere fun to cool off. Satsuki would appear and criticize their lack of sunscreen, safety precautions and give a lecture to anyone showing too much skin.
Later, at the gym
Satsuki lead everyone to the gym where they would meet their new instructors. Which were three of her four divas from Honnoji as Inumuta was staying behind to keep things in check. As even from a distance, Satsuki still had the loyalty of everyone at her high school.
Starting with the swordsmen, "This everyone is Uzu Sanageyama, he normally regulates he athletic clubs at Honnoji." Satsuki explained.
"I'm also the best damn swordsmen right barring Lady Satsuki." Sanageyama stated.
"I think I have someone willing to challenge you for that title." Fuyuhiko said as Peko prepared her newest sword.
Sanageyama chuckled, "I'll accept the challenge at a later date." he said before preparing a bag of wooden katanas. "Now, everyone take one and be ready for the test in 60 seconds." he said.
"TEST!?" Ryota asked.
75 seconds later
Everyone minus Peko and Fuyuhiko was unconscious on the floor. With Peko having lasted against Sanageyama's attack while carrying her master over her shoulder.
"You're actually good, so good I didn't want to use my Goku Uniform." Sanageyama.
"Hey wait, what about Chiaki? Hers is a prototype right? So how come she didn't last?" Fuyuhiko asked.
'Either way it wouldn't have mattered. Someone with the legendary clairvoyance already makes this boy a dangerous foe.' Peko said hiding some pain on her body.
"It's a prototype like you said, but it's worth less than a star. All of ours are three stars." Sanageyama answered, shocking the group.
Then again, Chiaki's wasn't built for combat like the presidents of each club at Honnoji. After waking everyone up, they moved onto the next diva.
"This is Nonon Jakuzure, she's the head of our musical division such as our marching band at Honnoji. She will be instructing you on the fine art of music." Satsuki explained as Jakuzure bowed her head.
"It will be difficult teaching yokels, but I accept the challenge." Jakuzure said when Ibuki suddenly got in her face.
"Who are you calling a yokel!? I'll have you know! That I am a rocker!" Ibuki said angrily.
"Sure, screaming at the top of your lungs and pumping up the amps. I guess it's a form of music for anyone who lacks culture." Jakuzure remarked in a snide way.
Ibuki sneered but was quickly held back by Nekomaru, "Easy, just let it go." he told her.
"I am no country bumpkin!" Ibuki yelled.
"Neither am I!" Hiyoko yelled as she hated that her elegant dancing was considered to be that of a yokel.
"For a short girl, you really are strong!" Akane said as she held the girl back.
Then Jakuzure said something surprising, "I suppose all of you aren't yokels. After all, one of you earned Satsuki's respect to the point she had Iori make a uniform for you." she said in respect towards Chiaki who blushed. "Just don't do anything to make her regret it." she said warning Chiaki who nodded.
"And lastly, there's Gamagori. You've met him several times but he will mainly be keeping you all in line." Satsuki explained.
"And I will see to it that you are all tested physically and mentally on your assigned handbook." Gamagori said as he held one up.
"How do you even hold these!?" Kazuichi whined as he had issues holding his right now.
"Just do as you are told and you will make Yukizome sensei even more proud upon her return!" Satsuki exclaimed as the entire Class submitted to her will.
Later, after school
Today was not too different for Hajime Hinata. His normal routine was still better than being assaulted or taking off his shirt. Although it may sound perverted, the latter sounded better than being repeatedly hit and insulted.
"I wonder how mom and dad are doing." Hinata said wondering if anything new is at home.
Only to see smoke in the near distance. Hinata dropped his bag and ran towards the fire. Realizing that his home was set ablaze, Hinata immediately called out to his parents thinking they were inside. Despite his fears and the sheer terror of how much damage the fire would cause. Hinata ran head first into his home kicked down the door with newfound strength.
"Mom! Dad! Are you guys in here!" Hinata shouts as he carefully maneuvers around his home.
A few minutes of searching and Hinata gave into despair. Upon realization that he had no hope of finding them. Hinata ran back out just as the fire became more intense with several debris falling right behind him as he escaped.
"That was… oh crap!" Hinata cursed as he took off his tie and jacket as they caught fire.
As Hinata threw away his clothes and put out the fire to avoid being burned. Before realizing that parts of the flames hit his flesh. Hinata winced as he also took off of his shirt to make a handmade bandage.
"Damn it! I should have just called emergency services!" Hinata said cursing himself.
Yet before he worried about injury and the destruction caused by his house's fire. Hinata screamed in shock as he looked at his arm. Not from serious burns, but from what was going on with his skin. Instead of burns as mentioned before, his flesh was covered in holes and deep down, his arm was filled with shining red threads.
"Oh kami! What is this!?" Hinata asked as he was horrified by the sight. Before remembering these exact same threads, "The clothes! It can't be! These are te same threads used to make Ragyo Kiryuin's clothes!" Hinata yelled when suddenly someone appeared behind him.
"Wow, you catch on quickly!" said a female.
Hinata turned around to find Nui smiling at him, "You!" he said before being knocked out with Nui's umbrella.
"Oops, hopefully Lady Ragyo won't get mad if he turns stupid with that hit." Nui said before lifting Hinata over her back. "You're heavy, but if Lady Ragyo thinks you're worth it. Who am I to complain." she said before jumping off into the distance before the firetrucks arrived.
The only good thing coming from this tragic event was someone else calling emergency services.
TO BE CONTINUED…
Omake: Ultimate Boxer vs Normal Student
Just as Juzo threw Hinata aside. The boy was about to keep pleading about turning in Sato's phone. When he suddenly heard the voice of a girl with a bowl cut.
"Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! I gotta hurry! The Thursday afternoon Meat Sale is ending in 45 minutes!" she said before falling down. "Darn it! This is no time to fall Mako Mankanshoku!" she said berating herself before running again.
"What did she say?" Hinata asked.
"Thurdsay sale or something. Now leave." Juzo said rudely.
Hinata suddenly had a face of determination, "I need to turn this phone in." he said.
"Not happening. Get lost or face punishment." Juzo said with a glare.
"That wasn't a request!" Hinata yelled as he charged at Juzo.
The Ultimate Boxer threw down his coat and prepared to punch Hinata. Only to be used as a shield as Hinata was suddenly running fast enough to break the sound barrier. Causing Juzo to lesson the blows of the walls that Hinata destroyed from running through them. Eventually Juzo fell down as Hinata finally reached the office.
"Hello I would like to turn this lost device in." Hinata said.
The secretary took the phone with shaking hands, "O-Ok, I-I will see t-to it that t-this device is t-turned in." they said nervously.
Hinata turned around and sweat dropped, "Oops, took it too far." he said before Juzo ran up to him.
"You punk!" Juzo yelled as his fist collided with Hinata's face. "I'm sending you the emergency room for all of this!" He screamed.
Hinata gently removed the fist, looking perfectly fine, "He hit me, does that count as assault?" he asked the secretary.
"Technically yes but…"
"Ok." Hinata said before punching Juzo back.
Only this time, the Ultimate Boxer crashed through more walls. Hinata once again sweat dropped as he realized he hit the man way too hard. It only got more awkward as Chiaki was in the same room and had wide eyes.
"Ultimate Punch." Chiaki muttered.
"Not really, I did it through intense training. For three years, 100 push ups, 100 sit ups, 100 squats, and a 10 kilometer run. I also eat a banana for protein and dieting." Hinata explained.
"You are a bad friend." Chiaki said looking emotional. Hinata was caught off guard by the proclamation, "Friends don't lie to each other! You can't be that strong with that alone!" she said sounding heartbroken.
"But I am telling the truth." Hinata tried to reason with her.
Suddenly Juzo appeared again, "I knew that was a fluke! I'm going to kill you!" he screamed.
Hinata turned around and punched him again. Sending Juzo flying out of the school this time.
"Sorry Chiaki, but I gotta go. The meat sale is ending in 45 minutes." Hinata said before running out.
Chiaki stood there wondering if what he said was true. Regardless, if they let Juzo be a student at one point for boxing. Why wouldn't they let the guy who destroyed things in one punch.
The next morning
Hinata walked straight to school as per his usual routine. Only this time he was surprised to find Juzo jumping out from the grass clearing. Looking very angry and covered in bandages and a few casts from the look of it. Hinata was very sure that Juzo escaped the hospital. At least he had respect for the man not dying from behind hit twice and sent crashing through several walls. These Ultimates are the truest elites after all.
"Sup." Hinata said casually.
"You normals make me sick! I refuse to let someone beneath me become stronger than me!" Juzo yelled.
"Then go hit the gym. There's a good one near my house and they have a good deal this month." Hinata said ignoring the threat.
"I am an elite! I won't train with normals!" Juzo screamed before being punched into the sky as if he were a member of Team Rocket.
Hinata shrugged, "Hopefully that doesn't get me expelled." he said continuing on with his day.
END OF OMAKE
NOTES: Chiaki's outfit is based on Futaba Sakura's outfit from Persona 5.
Also, despite both series being in different universes. Has anyone ever seen or heard about Satsuki attending class at Honnoji or is there a novel or OVA I never heard about? Because I haven't seen her or her underlings go to class except for Gamagori chasing that one guy in the beginning and holding that meeting for each class president. I get Honnoji Acadmey is like dystopia, but there is some form of organization.
