Chapter 4
With Ryota, several days before Junko's infiltration
With the school day over and everyone feeling happy that Chise had returned as their teacher. Ryota left the school on a high note. Even better when he made a pit stop at a fast food restaurant that serves chicken. Along with some quick grocery shopping to pick up some extra food. when Ryota arrived, he knocked on the door to let the inhabitants know that he was coming in. When he entered, Ryota saw a young man that looked oddly like himself with a massive weight loss, working on drawings with a tablet.
"You should really eat something? How long have you been working?" Ryota asked the boy.
"Not too long, but I made great progress with my anime! In no time, I will heal the hearts of many around the world!" the boy said.
Ryota put the bucket of chicken aside by the boy's bed. Then placed the groceries besides the boy. Ryota then sighed and started eating chicken out of the bucket as he watched the boy continuing to work.
"You know Ryota, I think might need to rest. All that work and no sleep is going to put a strain on your body." Ryota said to the boy.
Well in truth, Ryota is not the student who has been spending time with Class 77 under Chisa's teachings. When in fact, he's actually so no named individual with no identity or family members that he's aware of. Just an unknown individual who believed he had no purpose on this world. Which is why he chose to steal identities as he was not happy to live a life without one. At least until he met Ryota and learned about his admirable goals.
The real Ryota Mitarai is the true Ultimate High School Level Animator. As a child, Ryota loved animation and developed an enjoyment of drawing. Unfortunately, Ryota was often picked on at school and other kids would bully him and damage his drawings. It didn't help that Ryota lacked supportive parents as they weren't always around and hardly gave him attention or affection. With all this, it built up Ryota's antisocial behavior as he lived alone in the student dormitories.
When one day, the impostor who would soon pretend to be Ryota, found him unconscious one night. Ryota was nursed back to health and shared a bond of friendship with his impersonator. To where Ryota explained his love of anime and his desire to create the ultimate anime which would give anyone who watches hope. Something that the impostor would sympathize with. Leading to him covering for Ryota while the real boy worked from home to create his ultimate anime to imbue hope to the world.
"I will soon. I'm just getting closer everyday now." Ryota said stubbornly.
"I know, but what good is hope if you don't have the strength to give it?" the impostor asked.
Seeing as the two were only friends with each other. The impostor is very sympathetic and doesn't like to see Ryota slowly killing himself with his own obsession. He knows how much this matters to Ryota but only feared the day that comes when Ryota loses consciousness again. Even worse if the impostor or no one else is around to get him help.
"That's the point, there's no one else who can give hope." Ryota answered.
The impostor took a deep breath and exhaled, "I guess I'll leave you to it then. Just don't starve yourself again." He said as he left.
"I won't." Ryota said without looking at his friend. "That's it! That's it! We're getting closer! It isn't enough to put my soul into it and with so little time! I need to, no, I have to save everyone!" he said to himself as his obsession became stronger.
The next morning
Before leaving to Hopes Peak Academy every morning. The impostor would check in on Ryota as mentioned when it came to the animator's health. When his fears came to life, Ryota was passed out on the floor. Once again, disregarding the imposter's warnings about sleeping and getting enough rest.
"I have to find Mikan!" the impostor said as he gently places Ryota onto his bed. "I'll be right back!" he said to the unconscious boy.
Outside of Hopes Peak
Mikan smiled as she read the local signs welcoming the next year of students, "I did it. I'm an upperclassmen now." she said. When she suddenly bumped into the impersonator, "Huh? Ryota?" she asked seeing his serious face. "Can I help you?" she asked.
The impostor did not waste a single breath to explain himself. As he quickly used his strength to lift Mikan onto his shoulder and started running. Moving quickly as Mikan screamed in terror at the realization that she's being kidnapped. Luckily it was very early in the morning and no one was within hearing distance to hear her cries.
"Where are you taking me!?" Mikan asked as she cried tears of fear.
"Somewhere! My friend needs medical help!" the impostor answered!
Back at Ryota's dorm
Shortly after her kidnapping and the fake Ryota explaining the situation. One Mikan might consider to be awkward and very confusing. Also slightly frightening to know as the Ryota she knew is a fake while the real one has been at home the whole time.
'But what if the real Ryota is the fake Ryota? Like those weird philosophies? Where we never knew the real Ryota but the fake Ryota is the real friend. Or no wait, the fake is not the real Ryota but the real friend while real Ryota is not a good friend…' Mikan whined as her head started to hurt. "Ouch, I can't understand this." she said.
It was impossible for Mikan to tell if she even knew the real Ryota before Chisa became a teacher. Sure it was easy to tell the two apart based on BMI. Except, no one in Class 77 was actually that close until Chisa brought them together and Chiaki held them together like glue. So it was difficult to tell if and when Ryota switched out with his impostor. There was no doubt Chisa quickly became attached to the class and Satsuki is very strict with a keen eye.
Either one of them would have exposed the impostor and confronted them. So it is safe to assume that the fake has been hanging around for quite a while.
"How is he?" the imposter asked.
"He should be fine, it's just a mild case of malnutrition and sleep." Mikan answered making the impostor sigh.
"Ryota, you really need to listen to me." the impostor said as Mikan placed a towel on his head.
"So, how long has R-Ryota b-been like this? T-The real Ryota I-I mean." Mikan asked nervously.
"About a year, he's so determined to get his anime done. That I think he's willing to harm him himself in the process." the impostor said sadly. "How long do you think it will take him to recover?" he asked.
Mikan gave Ryota another look, "I would say a day or two to rest. He's not in any condition to keep drawing." she answered.
The impostor looked at Ryota again, "Hopefully he listens this time." he said.
"If not, I recommend a hospital. This will become worse the more he… he pushes himself." Mikan adds.
"Well thank you for your help Mikan. Can I still count on you on the future anyways?" the impostor asked.
Mikan started to sweat, 'Oh no! This is the worst part in any kidnapping film. The only way to appease them if I do something wrong is… ahhh!' she thought.
"Are you okay?" the impostor asked.
Mikan started to take off her school jacket, "Yes I am, let me just show you how loyal I am." she said as she started unbuttoning her shirt.
Only for the impostor to stop him, "Woah! No! We don't need you to do that!" he exclaimed.
"You don't?" Mikan asked, realizing she didn't have to use her body to save her own life.
"Of course not, we're friends after all. Friends help each other, even if we're not completely honest… or kidnapping each other." the impostor said blushing at the last part.
Then Mikan began to cry, "You are so nice, Not Ryota! WAAAAH!" she cries out as tears fall.
"Please stop crying Mikan! I don't want you to feel bad!" the impostor said trying to calm her down. "Also, why were you trying to strip? Wouldn't your boyfriend get mad?" he asked.
Mikan suddenly stopped crying, "Boyfriend? I-I d-don't have a b-boyfriend." she said meekly.
"Really? I guess he was with Chiaki then." the fake Ryota said.
"Who are you t-talking a-about?" Mikan asked nervously.
"That one guy. You know, the one from the other courses. Without the talent." the impostor said mentioning Hinata. "I never met him, but I've seen him around Chiaki and you later showed up that one day. I thought one of you was dating him." he explained.
Mikan's face turned bright red from embarrassment, "Hajime-san is not my boyfriend!" she exclaimed.
"I guess that makes sense, sort of." the impostor said.
For some reason, Mikan's imagination went all over the place. To where she imagined a grandeur wedding with Hajime in a tuxedo and herself in a wedding dressing. With Chisa acting as the ordained minister to the whole ceremony.
Mikan shook her head, 'No, he belongs with Chiaki. It's only right!' she thought.
Now the whole scenario changed to Chiaki being in a dress. Which then became one of those life simulator video games that Chiaki was playing on with Hinata sitting next to her.
'Somehow that makes more sense.' Mikan thought.
"Unless it was one of those polyamorous things. I won't judge." the impostor said.
Mikan now felt embarrassed again, because the image returned to her mind. Only this time, the wedding was real and not a simulator. With both Mikan and Chiaki wearing wedding dresses with Hinata hold them closely.
"No that's illegal!" Mikan said out loud before running out the door.
The impostor winced as he then saw Mikan crash into the ground on accident. While making an odd and explicit pose that revealed her panties. The impostor looked away as to not further embarrass Mikan. Despite faking his personality to match Ryota, he was still a good person at heart and was protective of his friends.
"I should get going too." the impostor said as he checked on Ryota one last time. "Try not to hurt yourself again, please." he said to his unconscious friend.
Present Day, with Junko
Junko woke up to the sound of lights buzzing and being blinded by how bright they were. The photoshoot model groaned as she sat up. Where she realized she was in some bed and beside her was an unconscious looking Mukuro. Although Mukuro had several straps on her body that kept her restrained. Junko had doubts that those would keep her trapped for too long.
"Where the hell am I? A hospital?" Junko asked as she looked around while still feeling disoriented.
"Good, you are awake." Junko turned to find Rei Hōōmaru by the door.
"Who are you?" Junko said as she winced from pain.
"You may call me Rei, Lady Ragyo has been patiently awaiting for you to awaken." Rei said.
Junko was too disoriented to analyze Rei, "The fashion designer lady? Where the even am I?" she asked.
"An underground lab made under Hopes Peak Academy. With our resources, we have told the school that you and your sister are unable to attend due to sudden illness." Rei explained.
"And why does that lady want to see me?" Junko asked.
"Who do you think sent you the invitation to your rebirth?" Rei asked while adjusting her glasses.
"Rebirth?" Junko asked.
When suddenly, Rei threw her pen at a fast speed. To the point that the pen pierced Junko's palm just as she had raised it. With the teenager looking on with surprise as the pen hardly hurt her. At first, Junko thought she was on a heavy dose of anti-pain medication. Only to see that within her hands was not only blood, but quite the amount of red threads. With more growing to reattach her hand back together while ejecting the pen from her palm.
"Some girls cry about broken nails, but a broken hand?" Junko asked as this felt awkward rather than scary.
"Yes, now you can see the results of Lady Ragyo's years of experience." Rei said as Junko checked out her entire body.
"I think I need some physical therapy or something." Junko mutters as she struggles to stand up.
"Be careful, the life fibers are still adjusting to your body. You are not completely human anymore but at the same time. You are literally made of sturdier stuff." Rei explained before leading Junko to Ragyo.
As Junko stumbled around in an attempt to not fall on her face. While feeling like all her bones and blood cells were being pulled on like the string that it is. She arrived to find Ragyo looking over a few documents.
"I see you have awakened Enoshima-san. I suppose your goal isn't just all talk." Ragyo said putting down the documents.
"Um, what do you think my goal is?" Junko asked while crossing her arms.
As Junko started to get used to her body again. She attempted to analyze Ragyo to prepare for any attempt of the woman wanting to manipulate or use her in any way. Only to find heavy details of her physical appearance but nothing else. Junko could accurately guess the material of her clothes up to what food she likely ate but could not predict any actions or the type of person Ragyo is. Other than what the fashion designer had revealed during the fashion show.
"Stop staring dear, you may lose an eye." Ragyo said catching onto Junko's analytic abilities.
"I'm not doing anything." Junko said playfully denying her actions.
"Sure." Ragyo said knowing she was lying.
"Anyways, what with the spooky place? Don't get me wrong, the experiment looked cool on film, but to be fair." Junko said before taking a deep breath. "I have no idea what's going." she said after exhaling.
"No, but you chose to anyways, but let me ask you this Enoshima-san. You are a model correct? At least that's the identity you settle with, yes?" Ragyo asked.
"Duh, it's what I am. Still, the school uniform idea was bland but it actually worked." Junko said remembering how impressed she was by the uniform designs.
"Thank you, but I personally think it's the clothes that make the people." Ragyo said as she stood up. "This school, Hopes Peak Academy. Focuses primarily on assorting talented individuals with unique abilities. Many that would be seen as unearthly, some would say they are beyond human. Superior even." she explains.
Junko nods, 'Yeah, I guess that's true. There's crappy talents like my classmates have, like being a progeny or fanfiction writer.' she thought before thinking about the more powerful Ultimate Students.
"Yet, they are still human. Humans that bleed, get sick, grow old and eventually rot." Ragyo said with a look of disgust. "But clothes, since the dawn of time. Humans have worn clothes to cover their shame. Bending over backwards for them even, it is the clothes that define the humans and what's most unique. Is the material, such as life fibers." she explains.
Junko looks at her arm, "I see, fancy regeneration string. Makes me feel like Deadpool without the crappy jokes and innuendos." she says with a light chuckle.
"Humor aside, I see potential in you Enoshima-san. Ambition that reminds me of myself when I was just a small child with little knowledge of the world and yet, so many big plans." Ragyo said fondly remembering her days before discovering life fibers. "La Vie Est Drole." she said in french.
Meaning, life is funny.
"Humanity has worked to build itself for so many years. Yet, it has not improved itself to become more than a few apes with fancy tools. When there could be so much more." Ragyo says as her fingers transform into tendrils made of life fibers. "Of course, that's where you come in Enoshima-san. With your little plot to bring despair, it's not really enough." she said surprising Junko.
"How is it not enough? What's so wrong about despair? It's a mystery box, you don't know what you might get." Junko stated. Speaking as her body is filled with euphoria. "It's the thrill of finding out, getting my blood pumping! When the status quo is destroyed by chaos, it leads to all sorts of potential we can't expect! I embraced that fact and here I am!" she explains.
Rei sweat dropped and had no idea what Junko was talking about. Only thinking that some anarchist decided to stroll in here. Rei was not sure what her master was thinking when she invited Junko here to become a guinea pig.
Only to hear Ragyo laugh to herself, "I do see your point, but I do not think you see the whole picture just yet." she said.
"Eh? What is there left?" Junko asked.
"I think, that's where your first lesson begins." Ragyo said before the door was kicked down by Mukuro.
"Sister Junko, I-I finally awakened!" Mukuro said stumbling around.
Junko groaned, "Shut up Mukuro! I was having a nice conversation until your stupid, fat and ugly self showed up!" she yells.
Mukuro counted every insult with her fingers, "I guess stupid, fat and ugly does describe me in a nutshell." she said unaffected by her sister's insults.
Ragyo cleared her throat, "If you are done, there's someone I would like you to meet. I am sure you can get him out of his shell and explore the world. After all, I think my son just needs a little push in the right direction." she said with a malicious smirk.
A short while later
Rei lead the despair sisters to another room. One that was kept locked tight by a steel door locked by a retinal scanner. Behind it, was Ragyo's "son", her pride and joy as she puts it. Only Ragyo decided to use this opportunity to test Junko's worth as well as see the potential made within the child. Just as Rei, proceeded to reach into her pocket for a way to get past the scanner. Junko stepped forward to intercept her.
"Hold up, I already got one of these. Your master over there sent me the invitation but didn't give me the keys. So I had to pick them up." Junko said as she searched her damaged jacket. "Crap, it didn't explode when I got stabbed by those needles did it?" she asked.
"Sister." Mukuro said getting Junko's attention.
"What now?" Junko asked. Mukuro raised up a lunchbox, "Oh good, I guess forgetful is one thing that doesn't describe you." she said opening up the box.
When Junko used the "key" for the retinal scanner. The scanner rejected it multiple times until Junko growled.
"This stupid thing is broken!" Junko said before realizing her mistake. "Oops, never mind. It's just a left over takoyaki ball. Ew!" she said tossing it away before pulling out an eyeball.
"Do mind him, he is not very social." Rei warned as Junko unlocked the door.
"So is Mukuro and here she is. Also, what's his name again?" Junko asked as she saw a young man with long hair, red eyes and a dark suit sitting on a bed.
"Izuru Kamakura." Rei answered.
Junko grinned, "Izuru Kamakura!" she repeats as she walks in.
Izuru, formerly Hajime Hinata after being experimented on by the scientists to creat the Ultimate Hope which fused with his life fibers, just sat there. Looking at the direction of the door with his red eyes. Lacking emotion, it was hard to tell if he was listening or not. Then again, with his emotionless mindset. He likely doesn't register what's going on around him or even care for it one bit.
"Kamakura! Kamakura! Kamakura!" Junko cheers as she strolls in. "Wow, so you are the guy meant to fight despair. Too bad that's not what you're gonna do now is it?" she asked.
Izuru did not acknowledge Junko's words.
"I guess that makes you like my senpai or something. Haha, so senpai can I ask you something?" Junko asked as she moved her face closer to Izuru's.
Once again, Izuru chose to stay silent as Junko came closer to him.
"How do you think your mom would react if I stabbed you to death!?" Junko yells as she pulls out a screwdriver to stab him.
A second later, Junko hit the ground as Izuru's shoe keeps her head against the ground. Junko gasped in surprise for a second before feeling excited for some strange reason. When suddenly, Mukuro's instincts kicked in and she ran at Izuru with an army knife. With the intent to kill Izuru for harming her sister.
Only for her cheek to get slapped lightly making Mukuro crash into the wall hard. To the point that it almost shattered the entire thing. That's when Mukuro realized that the pain was fairly tame, but still painful nonetheless.
"Oh? I guess you got tested with the life fiber stuff too Mukuro. Maybe you can learn to be less useless." Junko said ignoring her own situation.
"There is no meaning behind your words. What is point is there to despair?" Izuru asked.
Junko laughed, "That's easy, it's like I told your mom. That excitement and thrill for the unknown, just destroying what society has built and making something new of it." she began to explain. "Sure there's hope, but what is that? Paradise is cool and all, but look at you. You're this savior with a big brain, so paradise is just purgatory for you. Hope is just a dead end, like a brick wall you keep smashing your head into." she explained.
From there, Junko continued her rant and speech as Izuru kept stepping on her. With Junko ignoring the pain as her eyes dilated and she started sounding excited. Going so far as to drool as she explained her love for despair as if it were a delicious meal. With an attempt to make Izuru feel tempted by despair as if it's the only thing he needs in his life.
"…and that's why that big brain of yours is wasted on hope! You can do so much more and keep doing it over and over with infinite possibilities! Doesn't that sound awesome!?" Junko asked hoping her ideals passed onto Izuru.
Izuru's silent responses was to kick Junko in the head again. This time, knocking her unconscious with some blood leaking from her head.
"Junko!" Mukuro yells as she runs for her sister.
"When she wakes up." Izuru spoke up, surprising Mukuro. "Tell her I will be waiting." he said, signifying that Junko's philosophy caught his interest.
With Ragyo
Ragyo let out a laugh, "I see my son needs to learn to communicate better. No matter, it seems meeting a nice girl let him open up." she said.
Nui whined in the background, "Aw, does that mean she's taken?" she asked.
"Maybe, that boy is so hard to understand. Regardless, it seems that Junko's durability has yet to properly function." Ragyo said preparing for someone to send her experiment to a hospital.
At the same time, with Chisa
Chisa exited the school late at night. After having snuck in and breaking into a computer with information on it regarding the Izuru Kamakura experiment. To say that the experiment is inhumane is the least of her worries. What would concern her more is knowing who it was experimented on and how it changed them. Especially with how successful the experiment had turned out.
Prompting her to contact her friend and ally, Kyosuke Munakata, again.
"An experiment to create the Ultimate Hope?" Kyosuke asked from his side of the line.
"Yeah, I think Hopes Peak is just the front of some sort of human experiment." Chisa whispered.
"And from what you explained, it basically neutralizes a human being's emotions. For the sake of withstanding every talent?" Kyosuke asked.
"Yes." Chisa confirmed.
Kyosuke grimaced, "This is not good, something that powerful being allowed to roam free could create all sorts of chaos. Especially if the experiment is incapable of thinking on it's own." he says. "For now, no one but Sakakura and yourself is allowed to know about this. Trust no one Yukizome, not even your own students." he says.
"I understand." Chisa said knowing why Kyosuke is paranoid.
"Keep me updated for any changes. Remember, no one else can know about this yet." Kyosuke said before hanging up.
Chisa sighed, "I'm still worried about whoever was taken." she said to herself.
Unaware that some of the Madarai brothers overheard her. The brothers stuck tot he shadows before leaving as they had their own information to pass onto Satsuki. Although, it appeared that Kyosuke already received some of the information. Even if Satsuki had a temporary alliance with Kyosuke, it appeared that she would be getting a more updated version of the Izuru Kamakura experiment thanks to their more advanced searches.
The next day, hospital
Ryota was still feeling a bit sickly but better overall. Despite his recent accident where his impostor friend had to save him by bringing him Mikan. Despite being an amazing nurse with unlimited potential. Mikan wasn't the perfect alternative to a real doctor or physician of some kind. Now Ryota, at the behest of the impostor, had him go to the hospital to get treatment at the hospital every so often.
At least there was a good thing about it. The anime that Ryota had worked on for an entire year was close to finishing. All he really needed to do now was work on a few edits for the storyboard and visual appeal. Realizing how close he was to creating an anime that will rid the despair upon anyone who watches it. Ryota happily approached the doors to the hospital in hopes of finally finishing his life's work.
Only to be stopped by a girl he had never seen before. As he had passed the girl, she grabbed him the shoulder and turned him around. Before being stared at long enough to make Ryota feel very uncomfortable.
'Is she reading my soul?' Ryota wondered.
"So what makes you unique?" the girl asked him.
Suddenly Mukuro came out of the hospital, "Sister Junko, you still need to rest!" she yells.
Junko glares at her sister, "Mukuro, I do not need to hear the opinion of some overweight, flat chested loser." she said swinging around with the insults. Before turning back to Ryota, "So back to you, what's so special about your talent?" she asked realizing he was a student from Hopes Peak.
Ryota stuttered out his answer, "Um I-I am the Ultimate Animator." he said.
Junko snickered, "So what? You make some stupid anime or something?" she asked.
Now Ryota was offended, "Anime is not stupid! It's a part of our culture! Of course someone like you without any would know nothing!" he yells.
Junko scoffed, "Oh boy, I got him real mad now. What a nerd." she said further insulting him.
"I may be a nerd, but I made something amazing with my talent. Something you could never understand!" he said challenging her.
"Oh yeah? Let's make a bet." Junko said accepting the challenge.
Back to Ryota's Dorm
Unintentionally making an excuse to avoid going to the hospital. Ryota let Junko and Mukuro back to his dorm room to see his anime. With it being mostly done, he watched as the sisters saw through the entire animation.
"So what do you think? It's mostly a work in progress, but it's going to be even better once it's finished." Ryota said as if he now feared criticism.
Clearly his bravado meant something as Junko was no longer laughing or mocking anyone. As she was literally brought to tears by Ryota's animation. Unlike some of the talents Junko deemed to be useless or just completely worthless. The teenage girl became the victim of the effects of a talent's true potential.
"That was so beautiful! There will never be a more beautiful anime!" Junko cried out.
"I'm glad you liked it." Ryota said just as Mukuro touched his shoulder. Where he saw her ugly crying face, "AHH! What's wrong with you!?" he asked bfore watching her weep some more.
Then Junko stood up and grabbed a bat, "Every other anime to me is now garbage!" she yells as she looks at Ryota's anime collection. Where she proceeded to beat it with her bat, "Die garbage tier anime!" she yells.
"Hey stop that!" Ryota yells.
Even if this was the greatest anime ever made. Ryota did not want some girl he just met and invited to his room to start vandalizing his love. Even worse, the various anime he watched may or may not have contributed to his creation in some way. Like the many artists who find inspiration from the stories they love but make their own without directly plagarizing other works.
"I can't, nothing else will ever live up to!" Junko yells as she makes a mess.
After bashing on some dvds for a few more seconds. While Mukuro continued to cry while terrifying Ryota with how hideous she became from crying. Junko let out a yawn before bashing Mukuro on the head, knocking her against the floor.
"Anyways, what's the secret? You put something in there didn't you? Come on, tell me the truth." Junko said leaning her face against Ryota's.
"Actually there sort of is. You that? I use a special technique that briefly changes shapes and colors." Ryota said as a strange image of a hexagon with six holes appeared. Looking closesly while ignoring the color changes, the hexagon looked like a revolver cylinder, "With that, it can effect the emotions of a viewer. Keeping it subtle and everyone watching will still want to watch. Of course, there is a bit more science behind it." he continues.
Junko's interest peaked as she grinned at the concept. It was genius, it sounded like a good way to manipulate people and mess with their emotions. Ryota was still speaking in the background and said that he feels bad about controlling people's thought, but he mentioned his reason for wanting people to feel a certain way.
"I just want to bring change to this world." Ryota says.
Junko continued to grin like a madwoman, "We're alike after all Ryota. I actually want to change the world too." she said.
Although her reasons are for a more malicious purpose. Severely different from what Ryota wanted to do.
Days later, Class 77
A bear was in class today. There was no other way to describe it. Gundham Tanaka brought in a bear and was making it do tricks. Everyone was either confused or entertained by the sight. So there was literally nothing anyone could do to get rid of the trained animal.
"Behold, my training has prepared results. Gaze upon this marvelous creature!" Gundham said dramatically.
"He's quite skilled Gundham!" Sonia said clapping her hands.
"But why is it here?" Kazuichi asked.
As this went on, Hiyoko placed a plant down on a desk, "What is that for?" Mahiru asked.
"It's for Nagito now that he's no longer with us." Hiyoko said solemnly.
"He's not dead. He just got suspended." Mahiru said correcting Hiyoko before she could make a memorial.
"That doesn't explain why we haven't heard from him in a while." Nekomaru points out.
Unaware to anyone in the room. Satsuki also had a hand in tutoring Nagito while he was suspended. As to help him keep up with his studies. Unfortunately, he was also on a plane ride where the plane itself ended up in a horrible accident. Of course, the Ultimate Luck survived but now needed a means of escaping the desert.
Luckily Satsuki made sure he had a few resources besides academics.
"Hey has anyone seen Mikan and Ryota?" Mahiru asked, seeing that both desks were empty.
"Those two have been hanging out together recently. Pretty often if you ask me." Akame says, thinking the impostor and Mikan were dating.
Then Teruteru made it awkward, "It's a sign of love. They can't share it with everybody. It's like this." he says handing Kazuichi a donut. Teruteru then pulled out a banana, "The intimacy between those two is slow and delicate…" and it was best not to hear the rest.
For Teruteru attempted to explain the concept of sex by trying to stuff a banana through the hole of a donut. As he did this, Kazuichi started to sweat as the banana came very close to the donut. Even more so as Teruteru got intimate with his explaination. They were lucky their conversation which was not suited for schools or any work place was not overheard by Satsuki. As Teruteru would likely be missing an organ similar to a banana and possibly his arm.
Gamagori would have also likely forced the fool to go through a lot of physically painful trials. As well as adding Kazuichi into the punishment by thinking that he was involved in such inappropriate speech. For now, they had to settle for karma as the bear bit down on their hands in an attempt to eat the foods they were holding.
"OUCH!" The boys screamed.
Gundham shook his head, "Karma has struck you fools for speaking of dark things. Be lucky that it is tame punishment." he said feeling no sympathy for their pain.
Elsewhere
"Ryota is gone!?" Mikan yells with surprise.
Unlike the rumors that were spreading in Class 77. Mikan and Ryota (the impostor) were not engaging in romantic acts and keeping it a secret. In actuality, the impostor was still asking Mikan to help with the real Ryota's recovery. This would explain why the two could be seen close together and why they are often missing from class at the same time. Only this time, it's more of a dire situation.
As Ryota had left his dorm and now neither student could find him.
"He left not too long ago, saying he wanted to move." the impostor said.
"What could have motivated him?" Mikan asked, feeling worried for her latest patient.
"I can only assume his animation is driving him mad. Do you think you can help me find him?" the impostor asked.
Mikan nods, "Yes, maybe he hasn't moved out completely. Maybe I can intercept him while he's moving." she suggests.
The impostor smiles, "Thank you Mikan. I knew I could count on you." he said gratefully.
Mikan started to cry tears of joy, "You are so nice to me! BWAAAAHHHH!" she cries.
"Hey! Please don't cry!" The impostor pleads.
Some time later, with the real Ryota
Ryota smiled as he looked at his new room. It was bigger, had more room, and it even had superior computers to help him with his animation. All thanks to Junko who pretty much acted as an investor. Sadly, Ryota has yet to realize that the two have different goals. With the animator still thinking she was supporting his goal to help people all over the world.
"So how do you like the new place?" Junko asked.
Ryota smiled, "It's amazing!" he said with excitement. "The computers and monitors, they're brand new and so advanced! With them, I can get even more work done in no time!" he continues to exclaim.
Junko laughed whole heartedly, "That's great to hear Ryota!" she said sounding supportive.
Unbeknownst to Ryota, Junko managed to sneak in one day and copied the animation to a flash drive. Despite almost accidentally deleting the entire animation due to some functions of Ryota's program being a bit complicated. Junko managed to sneak away with the rough draft of the animation and presented it to Ragyo who surprisingly felt a tear fall down her cheek. It was a strange sight for Nui and Rei, since they thought Ragyo still had some humanity in her.
Except Ragyo kept a straight face the whole time when she saw the animation. Not moving a single muscle except for blinking. Ragyo even believed she developed some sort of eye irritation because of the imagery. Thinking there was no way a child who could draw would tamper with her emotions so easily. She was mostly right as Junko explained the concept of imagery that Ryota used by slowing down the animation.
Then the Kiryuin Matriarch got excited as she quickly understood what Ryota was doing with the abridged explanation Junko gave her. It was safe to say, Ragyo was quick to grant Junko the resources to support Ryota. Mainly to see if she could take the mental manipulation Ryota was using for her own goals. That day, Junko learned the important lessons of business investments. A dangerous world that qualifies as legal gambling.
At the same time, Junko also wanted to work on a way of manipulating Ryota to create a project for her. Yet Junko could not think of a good way to convince him (without threats) just yet as Mukuro came in.
"Seriously Mukuro!? Don't you knock?" Junko asked.
"I found this outside of Ryota's dorm." Mukuro answered as she revealed a tied up Mikan.
Apparently one or either of these girls had a bondage fetish. It didn't help that once Mukuro tossed the young nurse onto the floor. Mikan got into a very provacative position yet again. Although Mukuro did not have any ropes or restraints that were equally as good. She used the old computer parts that Ryota abandoned and one of them was the wire attached to a keyboard. This is important to mention as it was the keyboard that covered Mikan's private area under her skirt.
"Oh goodie, a pet." Junko said sarcastically. "Is this your stalker or something Ryota? I didn't know your pasty face had an admirer." she said.
"This is my classmate Mikan Tsumiki." Ryota said as he untied the scared girl.
"R-Ryota? W-Where am I?" Mikan asked nervously.
"You are in the presence of the greatest anime in the world kid." Junko answers.
"Greatest what?" Mikan asked.
Not too long later
Mikan started crying again, "That was so beautiful!" she cries.
Ryota smiled, "I'm glad you liked it." he said.
During the entire viewing, Junko focused entirely on watching every detail of the film. Completely ignoring everything minus the entire film's plot and visuals. As her eyes started moving around in different directions to take in every piece of work that Ryota has created.
"What's wrong with her?" Ryota asked.
"To summarize, my sister Junko has a unique that allows her to analyze every detail she doing this, she will be able to understand every detail the person or object she is studying. Allowing her to fully understand virtually anything." Mukuro explains.
"Oh my gosh Mukuro! That breath of yours is burning my neck!" Junko says, now insulting Mukuro's bad breath. "Anyways, I think I finally understand how this anime of yours works." she said.
"You do?" Ryota asked, thinking she was talking about the philosophical part of his anime.
"Yeah, but for now. You should finish up with help from your assistant here." Junko said pointing at Mikan. "I'm gonna go buy a mint for Mukuro before she burns some dude's face off. Bye!" she said as she dragged Mukuro away.
"They were… interesting." Mikan said.
"No, we also need to get you a mint Mukuro. Your breath is so bad, it makes an onion cry." Junko said from the outside.
"Haha, I guess making onions cry is what makes me less appealing compared to you Junko." Mukuro said ignoring the insult.
"They have a weird relationship." Ryota said with a sweat drop.
A few days later, with Izuru
Once again, Rei lead the Despair Sisters to Izuru's room. Where the young man was patiently waiting to see Junko again and find what worth there was in despair. No doubt, Junko was ready to share that experience with Izuru at this moment as she came in with a big smirk.
"Hey Izuru! I met some interesting people and I think you will have an interesting experience!" Junko announced.
Izuru gave Junko his signature dead stare.
"You know, with that silent attitude of yours. You are a lot less attractive than Mukuro and that's saying something." Junko said with the roll of her eyes.
"Let us go." Izuru said standing up and leaving the room.
Junko scoffed, "What is this guy? He thinks he's in charge now?" she asked.
As the trio left the facility. Nui waved at them and bid them farewell.
"Bye Izuru! Enjoy your date!" Nui yells out.
With Satsuki, at the same time
Satsuki had yet to leave Hopes Peak, much to the ire of many students. As her reasons for staying involved the very reason she entered an alliance with Munakata. The Izuru Kamakura project, from what Satsuki was able to learn thanks to the Madarai Brothers. The scientists behind the project had already created "Izuru Kamakura" but that was not the only part to be concerned about. Apparently, Junko Enoshima had already made her move on the school.
"I knew that girl was trouble when her gaze met my own." Satsuki said to herself as she obtained the latest intel.
First, it started with learning that Ryota Mitarai has not been in class because another individual has been impersonating him. She decided to leave that aside for a while considering that Satsuki could maintain patience to punish him later. Because the second issue, was what Junko was planning. Thirdly, Ragyo was scene around campus a few times and had likely left or is preparing to leave.
As much as the Kiryuin heiress wanted it, she could not confront her mother. The time was still not right just yet. For now, Satsuki had a school to save and fools to put in their place.
"So what's the plan Lady Satsuki?" Jakuzure asked.
"Is it not obvious? It's time for the whole school to be disciplined very shortly." Satsuki answered.
"I think the big guy here is going to have a field day." Sanagayama said referring to the stoic looking Gamagori.
"Then where do we begin Lady Satsuki?" Gamagori asked very eagerly.
Satsuki pulled out a few photos and documents, "We liberate the hostages first. Like a coward, Enoshima requires leverage but it doesn't stop there. Apparently, she may be using mental imagery to damage her next targets." she said pulling out another photo.
"You boys are up." Sanageyama said as one of the Madarai brothers came forth.
"This is troublesome, I say half of us assist our friends while the rest assist the other agents in the field." Isshiki said as his seven brothers peaked their heads out.
"How do you people do that?" Jakuzure asked with confusion.
They all smiled, "That would be a secret." Nisshiki said.
"Who said that?" Jakuzure asked.
"I did." Nisshiki said, but it was hard to tell which one was him.
"Raise your hand!" Jakuzure commanded as all of them raised their hands. "Not all of you at once. I meant the one that…"
"Enough." Satsuki said very sternly. "We leave at once! I already have several others on board to assist! Now move out!" she commands.
"Yes Lady Satsuki!" Her subordinates say together.
Hopes Peak Academy, that afternoon
At the student council, Junko brought in a large television screen along with a few dvds. With specific footage she made in hopes of driving the council into madness. Although madness was a bad word for it, despair would be a better fit. As it is the ultimate goal of Junko. With Mukuro following right behind her with bags filled with all sorts of weapons.
"What are you doing demanding our presence Enoshima-san?" asked the student council president, Soshun Murasame.
"I would like to know as well." demanded council member Kotomi Ikuta.
"Just sit down and listen up." Junko commands as Mukuro drops a bag on the wooden podium.
"In accordance with my sister's will, you will all murder each other." Mukuro said lacking any form of emotion.
Izuru watched from the doorway as his eyes scanned around the various reactions of the student council members. Some looking frightened, others looking outraged and the rest were just confused. Those ones were wondering if this was a sick joke going too far. Nonetheless, President Soshun did not take this threat or joke very lightly.
"Is this some kind of joke!? Because I'm not laughing!" Kotomi yells as she slams her hand on the table.
"Settle down please, I agree. This is a bit too insane to take seriously." Soshun said before a gunshot was heard.
BANG*
Everyone fell deathly silent as Kotomi gasped for air before hitting the floor with a hard thump. Although her accuracy is usually top notch, Mukuro did not hit any vital spots as she did not see Kotomi as more than a pest. Leaving the red haired girl to gasp for air as blood started to leak from her mouth.
"You have two options: either kill each other and hope for the best or end up like your friend." Mukuro said lacking empathy for her victim.
"And up next, we have a special prize for you!" Junko said pulling in some suit cases. "Tada! Video tapes filled with bribery, sex, and all the blackmail you can think of. Now I know there's only a few, but don't worry. There's at least one tape per person, so you all have some dirty secrets on the line!" she said excitedly.
That's when Mukuro opened her bag and revealed the various weapons. Ranging to blunt weapons like baseball bats and frying pans to more lethal weapons like firearms and spears. There also appeared to be an axe, knife and other sharp objects in general. All guaranteed to take a human life if done correctly.
"Now, you all might want to fight with all you got if you don't want your secrets to go public." Junko said as she walked out.
For some reason, Mukuro started singing from a book of lyrics as she left. Izuru stayed behind to watch the insanity unfold. Starting with President Soshun who attempted to maintain order and calming everyone down. Sadly, it would not last long.
"Everyone, we cannot give into the threats of one person. Ikuta needs help and we should…"
BANG*
Soshun was interrupted when someone bashed him in the head with a shovel, "I can't! She has my mother!" Karen Kisaragi said in tears.
As below her, was a photo of Karen's mother who was tied to a chair and left alone in a single room. From there, everyone started to scream as they ran at each other while brandishing weapons. With only a very few trying to hide and take cover or trying to reason with everyone. The blood was being spilled and people were at death's door. But it ended as soon as the sounds of loud footsteps were heard.
Izuru narrowed his eyes and jumped up and hid himself like a ninja. Where Gamagori shattered the wall with several students from Honnoji Academy beside him. All of them wearing One Star Goku uniforms and ready to act on Gamagori's authority.
"Student Council Members of Hopes Peak Academy, control yourselves at once!" Gamagori commands.
"They won't listen! They're hell bent on killing each other!" Shoji Yoko shouts.
Suddenly Karen ran up to Gamagori, who proceeded to rip her shovel away from her grip, "I said control yourself!" he yells as he tosses her outside. "Discplinary Committee! Restrain everyone at once!" he orders.
"Yes Sir!" the One Stars yell as they begin restraining everyone.
"Stay back!" Asukasei Ino yells as he fires a machine gun all around the room.
Just as one of the One Stars tackle him and begins to chain him up before dragging him away. Meanwhile Aiko Umesawa's screams could be heard as Tomohiko Goryoku stabs her.
"Forgive me, but I have to survive." Tomohiko said as he turned to face Gamagori's imposiing stature.
"How dare you harm your comrade like that!?" he asked.
"It's the only way. It's do or die!" Tomohiko yells as he throws his fists at Gamagori.
Gamagori in return, blocked each attack before lifting Tomohiko into the air and tossing him into a desk. Just as the muscular council member attempted to stand, Gamagori punched him in the gut. When suddenly, he heard a chainsaw being revved up. As Sosuke Ichino tried to saw Taro Kurasaki and Tsubasa Kamii.
Both of whom were lovers and just holding each other in a warm embrace. Fearfully looking at Sosuke as he stumbled towards them with the chainsaw.
"I always hated your disgusting love! Don't you two know when to take it outside!?" Sosuke asked like a madman.
"It's not our fault you do not have anyone to love." Tsubasa said with empathy.
Sosuke however, thought she was mocking him, "AHHHH! I HATE YOU BOTH!" he screamed.
Taro stood up and shielded her girlfriend, "You can hurt me, but not her!" he yells as he tried to put on a brave face.
"Taro-kun no!" Tsubasa screamed as she hugged his back.
"Good, now hold still!" Sosuke yelled before Gamagori punched him through a wall and into the hallway.
"I am against public display of affection, but we do not handle these things with gardening tools!" Gamagori yells at Sosuke's limp body. He then looked at the couple with a menacing stare, "You two go wait outside and no running… or kissing either!" he yells as the lovers take cover outside with Dakai trying to crawl away.
Unfortunately, Dakai appeared to have gunshot wounds, "That… that psycho Ryota… he has a shotgun!" he said before fainting.
Ryota Someya, as Dakai said, was wielding a shotgun and shooting at the One Stars, "Stay back! I'm survivng this! You can't kill me if I kill you first!" he says firing another round.
"That's enough." one of the Madarai brothers said lifting him up from behind.
"Isshiki!? Where have you been!?" Ryota asked.
"You must be confusing me with my twin. I am Rosshiki and this is Shisshiki." Rosshiki said as his twin ripped away Ryota's gun.
"Sorry, but no firearms allowed on campus." Shisshiki says as he breaks the weapon in half.
Meanwhile Kiriko Nishizawa was chasing Suzuko Kashiki through the hallways as the One Stars were handling everyone else. Suzuko was screaming and pleading for Kiriko to stop playing the game Junko set up. Only for Kiriko to ignore her as she tried to hurt her classmate with a shovel.
"Just hold still! It hurts more if you keep running!" Kiriko pleads.
Only for another Madarai brother to tackle her down, "That's enough games." he said.
Suzuko fell down and started crawling until she looked back, "I-Isshiki?" she asked, recognizing the man claiming to be the Ultimate Bodyguard.
"Nope, I'm Yosshiki!" Yosshiki said correcting her.
"Eh?" Suzuko asked sounding fearful.
"Move out of the way!" yelled a woman in a Goku Uniform stylized like a doctor's labcoat.
Then a couple of One Star students gently placed a blanket over Suzuko's shoulders. Before they gently helped her stand up and started escorting her out.
"Ma'am, can you tell us what happened?" one of them asked.
Suzuko was still shocked, "Everyone, t-that girl with the p-pigtails. She wanted everyone t-t-to…" she said as her eyes started to tear up.
"She's going into shock. We need to get her moving." another student said as they helped Suzuko out.
As Suzuko was escorted out of the building. She watched as some of her more pacifistic classmates were being treated for potential wounds. Including Dakai who was put on a stretcher and being gently moved.
"This one is serious, so be gentle." another One Star said.
Suzuko shook her head in an attempt to calm down, 'What happened? Why did this happen?' she wondered.
Back inside
Gamagori finished putting down Sosuke after he attempted to get up and fight him again. Meanwhile the Disciplinary committee was restraining the more violent members of the council like Asukasei who was still kicking around and Ryota who was yelling about the threats he was given by Junko. Leaving the head of the Disciplinary Committee to pack up the tapes that Junko was using as leverage.
"I need someone to keep these things locked in a vault. Inamuta or someone else can try to scan through them." Gamagori ordered as two One Stars grabbed the boxes and left. Leaving Gamagori to approach the medics, "How bad is it Lily?" he asked.
Lily, the President of the Medical Club, shook her head, "Very bad if we weren't on standby. This one was lucky that no arteries or organs were ruptured." she said gesturing to Kotomi who was unconscious with an oxygen mask on her face. "Then there's this one, his attacker avoided his temple but he might have a skull fracture." she said pointing at Soshun who was being carried away.
"If we were a couple of minutes longer." Gamagori started to say.
"A big tragedy would have gone off." Lily finished.
Elsewhere
Langris Vaude, a secret member of Satsuki's task force lead some of the Madarai brothers to hidden a few rooms. Using his ability to phase through sealed doors to help the brothers rescue the hostages like Karen's mother.
"Who's there? Please let me go!" Karen's mother pleaded.
"Ma'am, please keep your composure. We will be removing you from your unjust imprisonment." Langris said as one of the Madarai brothers removed her restraints.
"Why am I here? I remember some child with freckles took me against my will." she asked.
"We will explain at a later time. For now, everyone needs to escorted away." Langris said as subordinates helped with everyone else who was freed.
Along with Cammy who manipulated Junko's hired help, "Hey, are you finished yet? These guys are so boring to distract!" she asked from across the hallway.
"Almost done, just make sure an alarm doesn't go off or anything you airhead." Langris said.
"Me? An airhead?" Cammy asked, sounding genuinely confused.
"Yes." Langris answered.
With Junko and Mukuro
Junko was gripping a black and white teddy bear to the point she was ripping out the stuffing. Her eyes filled with rage, arms shaking and veins popping out. Junko was literally going to explode from sheer rage she felt at her plan being destroyed because of Satsuki's subordinates. Out of pettiness, Junko was considering just having the hostages killed.
"Sister, it is not so bad. Some people got hurt and may die. Maybe we can edit the footage to look worse." Mukuro suggested.
"Yeah, we could, but it's not a real film. My art is ruined Mukuro, but a dumb cow like you cannot understand that!" Junko said angrily.
Mukuro sighed, "I guess dumb cows like me are not useful." she said.
Junko was still gritting her teeth in frustration, "Just go check on those hostages and keep that backup drive of the blackmail safe. I can't believe I have to edit this out! I probably have to use cheap CGI or somethign!" she said angrily.
The next day
Principal Jin Kirigiri slammed the office down with great anger before sitting down and holding his head. He just finished a phone call with the Steering Committee. Unbeknownst to him or even the Future Foundation itself. The scientists that were in charge the Kamakura Project were deceased but that didn't mean that the people who helped fund and prepare this project were still alive. However, while Jin did not like the fact that the Steering Committee wants to keep last night's incident a secret.
It was suffice to say that their silence would lead to their ultimate punishment.
"I'm guessing things did not go well." Tengen said.
"That's putting it lightly." Jin replied. "The committee wants us to keep silent about the incident. Like it never happened. About half of the Student Council was put in the hospital and at least two are in critical condition." he said.
Tengan closed his eyes and sighed, "As much as it would help keep the public calm. Something has to be done so that this can never happen again." he said.
"That's why I want this to be addressed. We have two students who forced an entire class to nearly kill each other." Jin said as Koichi poured a drink.
"Then you might need this. Something to dull the stress." Koichi suggested.
Only for the door to be kicked open and a bladed weapon to shatter his glass. Koichi cursed the pain caused by the exploding glass. As Jin grabbed a first aid kit, the three men looked to see that Satsuki decided to invite herself to the office.
"Satsuki-chan, what brings you here? Besides destroying Kizakura's hand?" Tengen asked.
"Firstly, there is no alcohol allowed on the premises." Satsuki said.
Koichi winced in fear and pain, "Duly noted." he responds.
"Secondly, the whole incident was filmed from the looks of things." Satsuki stated.
"The committee will just want to confiscate those. I wouldn't be surprised if they destroyed them indefinitely." Jin said sounding bitter.
"They cannot take something that is not tangible." Satsuki countered.
"And what exactly does that mean?" Koichi asked as Jin handed him a bandage.
"It means, video tapes are no longer the only way to record media. Especially when the security room was using digital." Satsuki answers.
"You may want that drink now, Kirigiri." Tengen said putting the pieces together.
"Why?" Jin asked.
With Izuru, at the same time
Izuru looked at the video that Junko managed to edit. Despite how odd it looked especially with Gamagori ruining things. Junko managed to edit the scenes and removed certain parts. Showing only the brutal violence along with some scenes of victims like Kotomi appearing as if they had died during the whole ordeal. Izuru was still skeptical but could see that despite the initial attempt at creating despair was a failure.
Izuru remembered how insane most of the council became when they tried to kill each other. Friendships and partnerships were destroyed and everyone's sense of reason were destroyed. As the sheer terror on everyone's faces would no doubt harm anyone with a weak mind or weak heart.
"I see it now. Even without the loss of life, this event will likely recreate the same results elsewhere. Only it cannot be controlled." Izuru said predicting how others would react to the video. "I suppose Despair is interesting. What leaves me wondering, is how she will come back from this." he said wondering about Junko.
As the edited video he saw was texted to him by Junko herself.
"I know, it's a crappy movie but blame the actors lol! It's so hard to find good actors, especially with a lousy assistant like Mukuro."
-J. Enoshima (winky face)
Izuru rewatched the video several times to get a good understanding of what Junko called despair. He would be lying if he said he was not surprised by the results. As it did catch his interest to see how surprising the students reacted. It can only leave Izuru in anticipation as to what Junko will do next. As Izuru predicts that there will be no one if not very few people to prevent a bigger incident.
His predictions came true as the news application's notifications went off. With several news articles going off about the video he was watching.
"She released it to the public. If only that president maintained rationality, I want to see how many people attempt to do the same without giving into despair." Izuru said as he read several outlines.

As Izuru predicted, even with the power of the Ultimate Psychologist or equivalent. The news of Junko's Killing Game had gone public and people were angry. There is no doubt that many people will riot if the school does nothing. Knowing they were happy to destroy someone's mind in hopes of creating the Messiah. It was safe to say that everyone that Ragyo did not have killed was likely going to try and deny or stay silent about this event.
As the news also appeared to reveal details and footage of the Izuru Kamakura project as well. It appears that Junko may want to create a bit more than organized anarchy and Izuru was fairly interested to see what the girl would create from all of this destruction.

Omake - Garbage Tier Anime(warning, a lot of you might hate my opinions)
R0tacid kicked down the door, "Stop!" he yells.
"What the hell? Author, what are you doing here?" Junko asked.
"I'm here to stop you from destroying that anime. So that instead, you destroy some real garbage anime." R0tatcid answers.
Anew location
Mukuro looked at the collection in confusion, "What makes these so bad?" she asked.
"Let me begin, firstly we have the anime that got me back into anime in high school. It also made me lose respect for it and my best friend after the first season." R0tatcid answered.
"Is it, The Comic Artist and His Assistants?" Ryota asked.
"No, but he did recommend that. I hated it and I started to realize after high school, my friend was a perv. Which is funny, because he's so introverted and serious about studying, he makes Bill Gates look like a hippy." R0tatcid explained.
"So what are we smashing?" Junko asked.
R0tatcid presented the first dvd, "The entire series of To Love Ru. The first season is funny, but I think the company focused solely on trying to compete with High School DxD which is more perverted but actually has a decent plot without focusing on ecchi." he explained.
Everyone stared at him with minor disgust.
"The anime pumped up the ecchi to 2000%, the light novel doesn't focus on it." R0tatcid explains just as Junko smashes it.
"Gross, this thing was made by Shonen Jump too!" Junko complained.
R0tatcid then showed the next one, "The second season of Black Butler. I don't know what went on in the manga, but they decided to get too creative." he said as Mukuro shot it with a machine gun.
"How does a company like A-1 Pictures make beautiful looking an anime but get lazy so quickly?" Mukuro asked.
"I don't know, even with bad writing at the end of Seven Deadly Sins. They could have saved the series by continuing to work on it." R0tatcid said before pulling out the next one. "Rosario Vampire, like DxD and Black Butler. It focused solely on selling boob and panty shots with filler." he adds.
Ryota put on some gloves and gently placed the anime inside of a furnace before turning it on, "Sometimes originality does not make it any better." he said.
R0tatcid pulls out the final anime, "I haven't seen this one but with the little detail I heard. The only good thing about this one, is the fact that your eyes are not on fire when watching the first few seconds." he said.
"What is it?" Junko asked with a scoff.
"High Guardian Spice." R0tatcid answers.
Suddenly Mukuro pulled out a tablet and pressed a few buttons, "Get clear!" she yells.
R0tatcid drops the anime as he runs outside with everyone else. As flight of military jets appear and proceeded to spam every piece of weaponry on their vehicles until the entire building along with High Guardian Spice is completely annihilated.
"Damn, I forgot to put, How Not To Summon A Demon Lord. In that pile." R0tatcid said.
Everyone glared at the author, "The fact that you know what that bad attempt of copying Overlord with a bad fantasy background is disturbing." Ryota of all people said.
Omake - Shark Tank
Izuru suddenly stepped in, "I've seen enough." he said interrupting the very First Killing Game.
"What?" Junko asked.
"Who is this guy?" Sosuke asked.
Izuru sighed, "As the Ultimate Hope with every Ultimate talent. My Ultimate Tycoon tells me, that this investment will end in failure. I wish you luck on your next venture." he said as he took a seat.
The student council was confused, "Is this some kind of game? Kotomi was just shot!" Soshun shouts.
"And this is Despair! I haven't even gotten started!" Junko argues.
"And with this, I see it will lead to an apocalyptic event where the world is broken into anarchy. We at REVOCS cannot find any value in a broken world if it cannot be pieced together in some way." Izuru explains.
"But my sister worked on this for years!" Mukuro tried to argue.
"Clearly not long enough. Please leave." Izuru said without any emotion.
"But…" Junko said only for a trapdoor to appear.
Making the Despair sisters ride around in curved tubes. Until they were eventually sent flying out into the garbage. Izuru then proceeded to force Soshun to sit next to him along with Kotomi who is barely alive.
"Please send in the next candidate." Izuru requested.
"Is this Shark Tank?" Dakai asked.
Suddenly a blue haired girl with glasses appeared, "Hello, I am Tsumugi Shirogane. Today, I would like to present my idea." she said unveiling a title card. "I call it, Danganronpa!" she said.
"Tell me more." Izuru said.
"Need… hospital…" Kotomi muttered.
Tsumugi adjusted her glasses, "Here it is, a television series about teenagers trapped in a killing game. A mystery show where up to two people are killed every other day. Where they have to investigate the killings, then hold a trial and if they guess correctly. Everyone but the killer is executed but if they guess wrong, everyone but the killer dies!" she said excitedly.
Izuru continued looking emotionless, "And what's the endgame?" he asked.
"You see, it's a battle between Hope and Despair. Every season, 16 fresh faces compete to survive where their host is a robotic bear named Monokuma." Tsumugi said as she pulled out a robot bear.
Suddenly Junko popped her head out, "Hey! That's my idea!" she yells.
"You already had your chance." Izuru said before activating a trap filled with electric eels.
That shocked Junko long enough for another trapdoor to appear. Where Tsumugi continued to finish up her explanation.
"And the game ends when either a killer wins the trial or everyone bands together. With one of them becoming the Ultimate Hope to defeat Monokuma and of course, the mastermind!" Tsumugi finishes.
Izuru didn't look like it, but he was very disinterested, "I see." he says.
"I recommend, 53 whole seasons!" Tsumugi said looking excited.
"Thank you for your time." Izuru said hitting the trapdoor.
"No wait! AHHHHHH!" Tsumugi screams.
Kotomi was moaning in pain, "So… much… blood… someone… get… help…" she pleads.
Soshun started to feel scared, "Do you have the Ultimate Doctor in you?" he asked Izuru.
Only to be ignored as two girls came in, "Hello, I am Kirari Mamobami and this is my sister Ririka." she said gesturing to the masked woman.
"Today, we wish to present. After school gambling." Ririka said through her distorted voice.
"Are we really listening to this?" Soshun asked.
"How does it work?" Izuru asked.
Kirari's smile never left her face, "It's a hierarchy, the council receives donations to prevent potential debts. Games of all kinds such as go fish up to Texas Hold 'Em are played. However, this costs real money and any amount can be played depending on who's holding the contest." she starts off as Ririka presents a chart. "Should a student make a bet they cannot pay back… well then. They become a house pet." she explains with glee.
"How is this relevant!? Kotomi is about to die!" Soshun complains.
"Be quiet President! This looks interesting!" Ryota interrupts.
"What are house pets?" Izuru asked.
"They're basically servants, they have to work off their debts or present the money they own. Of course, it has to be legally within the boundaries of the school. Otherwise, it's meaningless and cannot be legally accounted for." Kirari explains. "It's a near endless cycle until graduation. Of course, once the money is paid back in full. House pets will be freed of servitude." Kirari finishes.
"Of course, there will be chances to obtain redemption and obtain the money required through games such as Indian Poker. However, it depends on how much each player owes." Ririka adds.
Izuru nods, "Very well, I agree with this idea. As representative of REVOCS and son of Ragyo Kiryuin, I put in 4.5 million yen into this project." he says agreeing with this idea.
Kotomi started to pale, "Cruel… world…" she muttered.
"If you wish, you can play me for some blood. Any game you wish." Kirari said leaning closely to the dying Kotomi.
A few minutes later
Kotomi came walking out with a small limp, "That worked out well, I even earned a pancreas out of this." she said sounding happy.
Sadly, Ririka dragged herself out, "Why did you have to give her my blood?" she asked her sister.
"You took my place when I went to use the restroom." Kirari answered before her sister lost consciousness.
