Chapter 13
Honnoji Academy
Ryuko yawned as she dragged herself out of Hinata's van, "Thanks for the ride little brother." she said.
"I'm the one with an automobile. I should be the older brother." Hinata responded.
Ryuko laughed as she patted Hinata's head, "That's just like you Hajime. You're too naive to understand." she said.
Hinata frowned, "I think you're just too proud to admit the truth. Besides, you said I would be the older brother the other day." he said.
"Nope, I don't remember that." Ryuko lied.
Out of fear because of Hinata switching to a personality that fit an action movie hero. Ryuko told Hinata that he can be the older sibling so long as Ryuko survived the crazy driving from yesterday's craziness with the tardiness day. Ryuko only said it because she was very stressed and couldn't mentally handle the insanity. In her defense, she thought Hinata was trapped in his persona to notice whatever she said during the drive.
Hallelujah!
The siblings turned to Mako who was now posing under a spotlight.
"Ryuko, he's your brother. It doesn't matter who's older or who's mature. All that matters is you have a family, you have to love your family so you can do fun stuff like go to arcades and eat rice balls!" Mako explained while doing weird poses.
"Hey, it's not like I'm bullying him. Besides, Hajime knows me already." Ryuko said.
"I wish you were different though." Hinata said.
That's when Mako continued her weird lecture, "And you Hajime, Ryuko may be different but like I said. She's family, sometimes you have to put up with your sibling being a brat, but at the end of the day they got your back. You have Ryuko's back and she has yours! You have the same dad so you both inherited your dad's back! So protect your dad's back!" she explained.
Hinata and Ryuko sweat dropped, "What?" they asked.
Suddenly they heard the bell ring in the distance.
"Never mind! Class is starting in a few minutes! We can't be late!" Mako said as she grabbed the both of them.
Mako then ran into the academy like Sonic the Hedgehog with the speed she was going at. Leaving Ryuko and Hinata unaware of the fact that they were being spied on by a certain man with a red mohawk. As the man continued spying on the pair with his sniper rifle lense. He caught the attention of some of the students who were nearby.
"Hey old man!" Yelled a student.
Tsumugu turned to see that the Gardening club of this academy was here. With Tsumugu having chosen the garden to perch himself. Despite how small and little space the garden took up, Tsumugu could have been ignored had he chosen a less busy looking area.
"What do you want?" Tsumugu asked, uncaring for what the students had to say.
"I want to punish the guy responsible for the little yard work done to my garden." the Gardening Club president, Kusanosuke Yaguruma, answered him.
Tsumugu noticed the large trail of heavy footprints he left behind from frequently moving around the terrace. It ruined a good chunk of the plants in the garden, but Tsumugu couldn't care less as his own agenda mattered more to him.
"Maybe we should give you a trim too." Kusanosuke said threateningly. That's when Tsumugu lit himself a cigarette as a response, "Hey, you can't smoke here either." he added.
"If you're ruled by Life Fibers, none of that matters." Tsumugu replied.
"How do you know about Life Fibers?" Kusanosuke asked, feeling suspicious of the mysterious tresspasser.
Despite Honnoji being a public school and having made an appearance at Hopes Peak before it was shut down. Life Fibers are a secret that only the students and faculty are aware of. It's not a secret that is meant to be shared with the entire world and Satsuki made sure of that. With that said, it helped Satsuki create more rules of discipline as when she had the nude body of that thief hanged at the front entrance of the academy.
Tsumugu and the rest of Nudist Beach know a whole lot about Life Fibers. With the older man being more paranoid and seeing the strange fabric as a danger to the human race.
"I don't need to tell you anything." Tsumugu said as he tossed his cigarette onto the garden.
Kusanosuke and his club members looked furious, "He threw a cigarette bud into the flower bed! That's despicable!" he shouted.
The club members the started pouring water onto the giant flower pot on Kusanosuke's back. Where the plants came to life and became giant venus fly traps with Life Fibers flowing through their body. Feeling confident, Kusanosuke commanded his man eating plants to attack Tsumugu and destroying a part of the terrace as a result.
"That should teach him to not smoke and ruin our flowers!" Kusanosuke said before being barraged by a lot of projectiles.
The club president soon realized that his men were quickly defeated along with his plants. However, that's when Kusanosuke noticed what was being fired at him.
"Ha! Useless! Bullets don't work on Goku Uniforms!" Kusanosuke said as he generated more dangerous plants.
Only for the to be quickly dispatched as well. Kusanosuke was shocked to see his plants die right away as if they had been poisoned. That's when he noticed that the bullets were actually nails and Tusumugu had come back without a single scratch on his body and continued to kill plants that were in his way until he reached Kusanosuke.
"There are two things you need to know. Number one, I smoke where I want." Tsumugu said.
"Please don't kill me!" Kusanosuke pleaded.
"Number two! Don't interrupt me!" Tsumugu finished as Kusanosuke recoiled in terror of the man's ruthlessness
Later that day
Hinata had finished dealing with another group of the government agents that Satsuki mentioned through one of her subordinates. It looks like they moved onto a more subtle approach in attempting to assassinate his class.
"I swear, they could solve world hunger faster than making all of these weapons." Hinata said with a sigh as he stabbed the Buster Sword into the ground.
"That's just how it is Hajime. A jet fighter cost could cover a school's budget for like a century." Kazuichi said, though the mathematics might be slightly off.
Still hard to argue when weapons cost more than buying a car but somehow less than a brand new smart phone.
"Well, at least now I'm better prepared." Hajime said as he powered down from Fenrir.
"With your flesh all covered up, you'll take less hits." Kazuichi said as Hinata finally figured out how to cover his bare flesh. "Also, what do we do about those guys?" he asked as he pointed at the pile of agents.
Hinata was trying to think about how to discard the pile of defeated government agents. When a few janitors suddenly appeared and started sweeping them away. The boys sweat dropped as they saw the janitors carry on with the agents as if they were literally trash.
"I guess you can thank Satsuki for funding the school properly." Hinata said as Kazuichi nodded.
That's when they heard a lout explosion nearby. The two boys looked up and saw a bunch of students from the human biology club falling out of a wall that was destroyed. From there, they saw Ryuko falling out as well as Mako who was hanging onto her for dear life. There was nothing to worry about as Ryuko managed to land safely down on the courtyard ground.
"Thank you Ryuko!" Mako yelled gratefully as she hugged her savior.
"No problem Mako, but you really have to work on the whole damsel in distress thing." Ryuko said as she powered down.
Ryuko then proceeded to flip her scissor blades around until they shrunk to pocket size. Where she put them inside of a little holster clipped onto her skirt. She then focused her attention on her brother and his friend.
"Hey guys, we late for… what is this period?" Ryuko asked sheepishly.
"You're fine." Hinata said as he took a seat. Ryuko then took a seat next to him, "I feel like we're gonna get stuck in some endless loop." he said.
Ryuko sighed, "Between me dealing with Satsuki's slaves and you dealing with government bull crap or whatever is going on with you. I wanna agree." he said.
That's when Kazuichi pulled out a box, "Then I have a deal for you both. A brand new prototype that might help with putting down the endless mobs." he said. "Thanks to my Two Star Goku Uniform…."
"Hold the hell up! You have a Goku Uniform?" Ryuko asked with wide eyes.
"Yeah, it's part of a prototype phase. Nanami was the first one to gain a uniform in our class so I guess Satsuki was impressed by the rest of us.' Kazuichi answered.
"Figures, she's forced you all into her payroll." Ryuko said with disappointment in her voice.
"Does that mean I'm the only no star!?" Mako asked.
"Technically Ryuko and I don't have uniforms with stars. Though they are really overpowered." Hinata answered.
Mako felt slightly better, "Oh good! I'm not an outcast just yet." She said. "Also, I hope this is lunchtime because I'm starved." she said as she magically pulled out a lunchbox from the back of her skirt.
Only for it to be filled up with nails. Mako screamed in terror, but not from almost being impaled but rather from likely losing her lunch.
"NO! Mom's cooking!" Mako screamed.
"Get down!" Ryuko yelled as she tackled Mako onto the ground.
Hinata quickly drew his Buster Sword and started blocking the nails. Leaving Kazuichi to take cover as he tried to figure out who was attacking them. Leaving Hinata to take all the hits while Ryuko prepared to fight back and Kazuichi attempts to support them with his new invention
That's when the attacker revealed themselves to be Tsugumu. The man continued to open fire on Hinata who continued to block the block the nails.
"Take of your clothes!" Tsugumu exclaimed.
"What!?" Hinata asked.
"I said, take off your clothes!" Tsugumu repeated.
Ryuko suddenly felt great rage, "You are not molesting my little brother!" she yelled as she ran up to Tsugumu with her sword drawn.
"I don't want to molest him. I just want him to take his clothes off. In fact, you should do the same." Tsugumu said as he started shooting at Ryuko.
Where he managed to paralyze one side of Ryuko's body before she could transform. Hinata was about to do the same when he was quickly hit as well. However, as Tsugumu prepared to grab Ryuko, Kazuichi came jumping out with his new prototype.
"No one is stripping my best friend or his sister!" Kazuichi yelled as he fired at Tsugumu with a laser gun.
"What the heck!? You made a freaking laser!?" Ryuko asked.
Kazuichi grinned, "It's meant to combat Life Fibers. You know, give you an edge against the captain." he said before continuing to fire.
Tsugumu dodged all of the blasts, "With a weapon like that, you should be on my side." he said.
"Heck no! You freaking shot up Hajime!" Kazuichi yelled.
"He'll be fine, the needles will do no harm and rejuvenate him. He'll feel refreshed after he wakes up." Tsugumu said.
"And with that, you'll use that time to do dirty things to him." Kazuichi said.
"Kick his ass Soda!" Ryuko yelled as she tried standing up.
"And avenge my mom's cooking too!" Mako yelled.
"This is for Mako's mom's cooking!" Kazuichi said as he kept firing.
Only to slip up as Tsugumu threw a random tool at the nozzle of the laser gun. Causing it to jam up and explode when Kazuichi pulled the trigger.. The explosion caused Kazuichi to crash into a wall, knocking him unconscious as a result.
"That's the end of that. Now for your clothes." Tsugumu said as he looked at Ryuko. Only to feel a needle hit his hand, "Tomorrow." he said.
"What!? Get back here!" Ryuko yelled as Tsugumu turned and walked away.
Just as Tsugumu disappeared, Mikan came out and ran to Ryuko, "What happened?" she asked.
"Some perverted jerk wanted me and Hajime to take off our clothes." Ryuko said, making Mikan blush.
"Ew!" Mikan responded.
"I know, now take these needles off so I can kick his a**. Then help Hajime next." Ryuko said as Mikan saw Hajime's paralyzed body.
Which was being throttled by Mako, "Wake up Hajime! If you don't, every school lunch will be destroyed!" she said as she kept trying to wake him up.
"Don't do that! You might harm him more!" Mikan shouted.
"Lunch is in danger! Do you not care!?" Mako shouted angrily.
If anyone deserved to be avenged, it was Mako's lunch apparently.
Later that day, at a bar
Tsugumu was not happy, not one bit. He stood against the side of a counter, he looked at Aikuro with a look of contempt.
"You interrupted me." Tsugumu said.
"You were running around, shooting up the place and telling kids to take off their clothes." Aikuro said as he picked up a glass. "I know you have a vendetta against clothes, but I think you could have handled that a whole lot better." he added.
Tsugumu wasn't going to beat around the bush, "I told you to never interrupt me. So tell me what you want." He said.
"Pull up a seat, the Kiryuin's aren't spying on us." Aikuro said, trying to keep things civil.
"Tell me what you want." Tsugumu repeated.
That's when a third voice was heard, "Take a seat Tsugumu."
Tsugumu turned his head to see a really disappointed Chisa looking up at him. He had no problem with his friend from high school, but he didn't think that he should listen to Chisa. Then again, for a cleaning lady turned teacher, Tsugumu was likely going to get an earful of a lecture. With Chisa likely making it impossible for him to leave until she gets her piece in.
"Fine." Tsugumu said, listening to Chisa rather than Aikuro.
"We want you to stop attacking Ryuko and Hajime." Chisa said.
"I can't do that." Tsugumu immediately answered.
There was a moment of silence with tension filling the air. Tsugumu lit a cigarette and took a big puff. Aikuro calmly switched to sake and prepared to pour it into a little cup to share with Tsugumu, but the mohawk wearing man blocked the cup.
"You know the higher ups are going to disarm you for going rogue." Aikuro said. "Weapons, armor, everything will be confiscated." he added.
"Then I'll keep fighting and be a real nudist while I'm at it." Tsugumu said.
Chisa was not too happy, "Listen here Tsugumu, I may be new to this whole Nudist Beach thing. But those are two innocent children!" she exclaimed.
After the incident with Hopes Peak and the struggles to rebuild the government. Which only further increased the amount of influence the Kiryuin family has on Japan. With their resources helping to restore the broken nation while the rest of the world was having it's own difficulties as Junko Enoshima attempted to spread her Despair globally. With that great threat over, Chisa had learned about a much older problem that's been going on for years.
Now, she was no longer with Future Foundation and was forced to cut ties with Munakata. She hoped it would be temporary as Nudist Beach is technically neutral with Future Foundation.
"I'm not targeting the kids. Just the Kamui before they lose control." Tsumugu said. "It won't be long before those clothes consume them." he said.
"I have faith in both of my students! You just can't see it like I do!" Chisa argued.
"The issue is you aren't experienced Chisa. You don't know what Life Fibers can really do." Tsugumu replied.
"Remember what Dr. Matoi said, those Kamui are our only hope to fight against the Kiryuin's oppression. They're allies, not enemies Tsugumu." Aikuro said. "It's not like things will turn out like with Kinoe…"
*SMASH*
Aikuro looked to see that Tsugumu shattered the sake cup. The man was clearly not in the mood to hear someone else talk about his deceased sister.
"I will do what I need to because no one else will. I'll also do it with or without help." Tsugumu said as he walked out of the bar.
Chisa groaned, "I hate how thick headed he is!" she said.
"He has a good reason to be distrustful. Though that doesn't excuse his methods. Especially since it's not just Ryuko and Hajime's lives at stake." Aikuro explained
Chisa still looked very annoyed, "Okay, I'm still lost about this whole conspiracy stuff, but I still don't like how this is all being handled." she said as she crossed her arms.
Aikuro pulled out another sake cup, "You want a little drink to lower the stress?" he asked.
Chisa took the bottle instead and drank as much as she could muster. This immediately made her more angry and red faced. She suddenly let out a hiccup and felt as if the world was spinning.
"That's why I offered you a cup Chisa. You can't handle your drinks." Aikuro said.
"Stupid Tsugumu, stupid sake and stupid… you." Chisa slurred as she grabbed onto Aikuro. "I want everything to go back… to normal." she said followed by a hiccup.
"I'm taking you home." Aikuro said, knowing Chisa won't survive the way back to her apartment
At the same time, with Satsuki
Satsuki was looking over the report that was handed to her. The contents revolved around Hajime Hinata's kamui, Fenrir. Satsuki looked curious by what she read and tried to correlate the information with the knowledge and experienced she gained from wearing Junketsu.
"I wouldn't be surprised if Hinata had better control. Not because of his experience, but because of his enhanced biology." Satsuki said as she kept reading. "And you said that he just openly told you? He never questioned your reaction?" she asked her guest.
"No, Hajime looked a bit nervous, but felt happy when he told us." the informant answered.
"I see, I suppose he must have been too exhausted to feel suspicious." Satsuki said. "And you said that he can hear a voice from the uniform? As if it can speak to him like another person?" she asked.
The informant nodded, "Hajime told me it's hostile and frequently belittles him. Like it tries to tear him down, but he constantly fights back against the insults." they said.
Satsuki nodded, "If not for the power of the kamui, I suppose it's the kamui's sentience that requires a strong will to wear it." she said. "Continue to monitor him. His closeness to Matoi leaves me feeling unsure about his loyalty." she said.
"Hajime is not a bad person. He just doesn't like seeing violence happen to the innocent." the informant replied.
Satsuki gave the informant a frightening stare, "Perhaps I should question your loyalty as well. I cannot help but feel that you are biased in your reports, Chiaki Nanami." she said, revealing the identity of her informant.
"It's not that! I swear!" Chiaki exclaimed. "I just know Hajime well enough by now." she said.
"The little time you spent together in the virtual reality is false. A mere fabrication, but I suppose this will reflect on your relationship." Satsuki said sternly. "Then again, I see less risk in working with him rather than Izuru Kamakura." she said, for Izuru is a wild card if he ever came back.
Chiaki winced as she remembered the cold emotionless stare Izuru gave her. Chiaki recognized Hinata right away that day, but could only vaguely remember a tear falling down the emotionless boy's cheek. The fact that he took her little hair clip proved that Hinata wasn't gone all the way.
"Regardless, keep your professionalism and romance separate during these reports." Satsuki said making Chiaki blush.
"R-Romance?" Chiaki asked.
"Did you not openly state that he was your boyfriend? That is a term for lover. Someone you feel intimate feelings towards. Did I somehow mishear this?" Satsuki asked.
Chiaki was bright red by this point, "I never thought of it that way." she said.
Satsuki fought back the urge to roll her eyes, "Is there anything else worth mentioning to me or is this all?" she asked.
"That's all ma'am." Chiaki answered as she calmed down.
"Then you are excused." Satsuki said as Chiaki stood up and bowed before leaving.
As Chiaki left, Jakuzure walked up to Satsuki's side, "You think she can keep this up without screwing up?" she asked.
"Nanami could have wasted away playing her video games. Yet, she grew and developed leadership skills among her classmates. That alone explains her level of competence." Satsuki explained.
"Okay, I guess not every slacker is bound to be useful at some point. Still, what if Matoi learns about her secret?" Jakuzure asked.
Satsuki closed her eyes, "Hinata will no doubt be a bit lost, but I doubt he will break ties with Nanami. Strained a bit, but he will understand. It's not as if they are enemies and Hinata will remember who graciously gave him another chance at life." she explained. "However, to answer your question. I say there will be conflict between the two kamui users if Matoi somehow learned about Chiaki working as my informant. It will be difficult to assume what will happen in that hypothetical event." she said, finishing her explanation.
"He is no threat, regardless of whether or not he destroy's Matoi's kamui. That's assuming he has the ability to do so." Satsuki said with some doubt. "There's also our surplus of Two Star uniform wearers." She said.
Jakuzure looked shocked, "You're letting those grunts from Hopes Peak fight him?" she asked.
"They need to demonstrate their worth to my plan as well as seeing how well an Ultimate human can handle a Goku Uniform." Satsuki said.
While she looks down on the philosophy of Juzo Sakakura who thinks that being the best at one skill determines one's superiority. Satsuki never denied that having an Ultimate skill doesn't make someone better in some sense. Now she just needed to see how well they can handle a super-powered suit.
The next morning
While Ryuko stood at the center of Honnoji Academy looking semi-confident (she was shaking and Senksetu pointed this out), Hinata was working in the back of his van. With Kazuichi trying to work on another invention for when Tsugumu appears. Unlike his sister, Hinata was not going to idly wait and take Tsugumu on.
"You better not be thinking about running and hiding from the bastard." Fenrir told him.
"I'm not, I'm thinking this through." Hinata answered.
"Then hurry up, he's going to appear and I want you to kick his ass." Fenrir said.
"Aggressive uniform." Hinata said.
"I can tell." Kazuichi said as he finished adding another screw to his invention. "Anyways, with us working together. We can defeat that Rambo wannabe from molesting you and Ryuko." he said.
"Hopefully that's not his real plan." Hinata said, looking visibly disturbed.
"If Chiaki were here, she could probably motivate you or at least use her weird visor to find that mohawk guy." Kazuichi said as he finished up.
"Where is Chiaki anyways?" Hinata asked as she didn't arrive at school with them.
His question was never answered as he heard loud explosions in the near distance. An explosion of any kind is a sign of battle at this school. That or Gamagori has revoked the chance for a peaceful surrender from a delinquent who broke a rule. Similar to a fire alarm, Hinata knew it was time to get moving.
"I guess that's my cue. Can you move the van around?" Hinata asked.
"Sure thing pal." Kazuichi answered as Hinata ran out of the vehicle. "Hopefully the rest of the class made up their minds about giving us a helping hand." he said.
For the rest of Class 77 had their own Goku Uniforms, but they were disguised as their normal clothing. Allowing them to activate the power of the Life Fibers only when necessary.
With Ryuko
After being surprised by several missiles aimed for her, Ryuko quickly transformed and engaged Tsugumu. Then quickly finding out that the nails that Tsugumu fired from his machine gun (which was actually a sewing machine from the looks of it) had the ability to paralyze her body even when transformed. Though it wasn't as effective at first thanks to the extra layer of leathery fabric that covered her previously exposed flesh.
"At least it doesn't hurt as much." Ryuko said before jumping away.
When several fans and cushions started flying towards her and Tusgumu like shuriken.
"Now what?" Ryuko asked before seeing a few cards fly towards Tsugumu.
Ryuko had realized that the clubs were back. With the presidents leading their club members into battle once again. Though now it looks like they were also targeting Tsugumu as well.
"It's the Honnoji Academy Rakugo Club, Three Masters!" the Rakugo Club announced.
"We're the 100 poems by 100 poets club! The Horde of 100!" the Poetry Club announced.
"And we're the Backyard Gardening Club! Lead by me, Squint-Eyed Kusatao Uwabami!" Kusato announced. "You messed up Kusanosuke's garden! Now we're here for payback!" Kusato shouted at Tsugumu.
After that last announcement, the sky became dark and cloudy with a lightning storm following close behind it. The next thing anyone knew, Gundham appeared with an army of furry animals dressed like samurai warriors from the feudal era. Followed by a few on star students helping groom and dress a few remaining furry animals.
"And should they not be enough, you will surely fall behind the empire of Gundham Tanaka!" Gundham exclaimed as his little army raised their flags of war.
Ryuko decided that was the perfect time to leave. As she let Tsugumu be attacked by the incoming waves of club members.
Inside of the academy
While a war was going on outside, Ryuko found her brother waiting for her inside. Along with Nagito who was just standing by the window with a drink in hand.
"I see you two are dressed for a lively event." Nagito said.
"That's putting it lightlly." Ryuko said before watching Gundham crash through a nearby window.
"My body may be broken… but the will of my soldiers remains invincible!" Gundham yelled before collapsing.
Ryuko and Hinata watched as they saw several hamsters dogpiling on Tsugumu in the distance. It wouldn't be long before Tusgumu break free of the dogpile before making his way toward Ryuko.
"You know, the strangest thing happened." Nagito said. "I was minding my own business when suddenly I sprang all of these traps. A good thing none of them have seemed to be set up properly." he said.
Hinata looked around and saw several broken devices all over the halls. Just as he was about to question his most suspicious classmate. Tsugumu arrived and reloaded his sewing machine with more nails.
"Here he comes!" Ryuko yelled as she raised her scissor blade at Tsugumu.
However, as Tsugumu started shooting. He accidentally stepped on a broken trap that blew up on his feet. Tsugumu quickly recovered but was then subjected to being sent flying all over the halls by his own traps.
"I suppose those traps were on a timer." Nagito said as he drank from his can.
Tsugumu should have adjusted to someone who can occasionally rewrite fortune to benefit him. Even if it meant for someone else to be the victim of greater misfortune.
"I'm glad you're here Nagito." Hinata said, knowing Nagito's luck tampered with the traps.
"I'm happy to hear that." Nagito said as he watched his classmates chase after Tsugumu.
With Tsugumu
A lot of things were not going as planned, but that didn't stop Tsugumu. So as the extremist continued to maneuver around the many traps he placed around the school to get to Ryuko and Hinata. He tried throwing out some custom made grenades to combat the kamui users. However, that's when he found himself facing another threat.
"Halt! Such behavior is unacceptable in the halls of knowledge!" Tsugumu turned his head to find Kiyotaka leading an elite group of hall monitors. "You are clearly not a student or staff member! I demand you present a pass for entry into our prestigious academy!" Kiyotaka commanded.
Tsugumu ignored Kiyotaka's command and proceeded to throw his grenades at him. Kiyotaka revealed the power of his Two Star Uniform and immediately started creating a cage made of Life Fibers around Tsumugu. Tsumugu wasn't restrained for long as his grenades pierced through the threads and released him. Allowing him to freely shoot Kiyotaka's hall monitor squadron.
"Surround him men! We cannot allow delinquents of any kind to disrupt our learning!" Kiyotaka commanded.
"Hai!" the hall monitors shouted as they pulled out batons to engage Tsugumu.
Tsugumu proceeded to block and parry each attack while simultaneously shooting every hall monitor. Including Kiyotaka himself who tried to lunge at him from behind. Tsugumu's mission wasn't over no matter how many Two Star uniform users he defeats. A perfect reminder is the sight of Hinata crashing through the ceiling and trying to slash at Tsugumu who was barely able to block the attack.
His primary weapon, the sewing machine turned gun, had started to crack under the massive sword's pressure. Tsugumu fell back and threw a couple of grenades. Hinata quickly jumped away as his instincts told him about the potential threat. However, that didn't give Tsugumu time to react as Ryuko came soon after and ambushed Tsumugu.
"You forget about me!?" Ryuko asked as she rapidly struck at Tsugumu.
"You're the reason I'm here." Tsumugu said as he blocked each strike. "So I'm not leaving without taking you down." he said as he kicked Ryuko away.
Ryuko slide back a few meters before blocking Tsumugu's next rapidly moving nails. The assault was then interrupted by Hinata who threw the Buster Sword at Tsumugu and made him drop the weapon. Hinata then tackled Tsumugu through another room and started punching him several times across the face. Then finding himself being punched out the room by a pair of custom made brass knuckles made for handling Life Fibers.
"You're fighting for no reason. Can't you see that those clothes are going to take over your mind? They are not tools for you to use." Tsumugu said.
"He's right about that much, but that doesn't mean you should let up. I'm not controlling your weak ass even if I wanted to." Fenrir said to Hinata. "If you can't beat this crazy ass, you might have to get desperate." he added.
There was no room for arguing on both sides. For Tsumugu threw one last grenade that released a heavy burst of nails that flew all over the room and pierced Hinata's kamui entirely.
"You stupid idiot!" Fenrir yelled, feeling angry about Hinata's clumsiness.
Hinata struggled to move in his kamui. He considered asking Fenrir to power down with the assumption that he could try and move. However, before he could concern himself with trying to move. Tsugumu was forced to focus back on Ryuko as she managed to kick him through the ceiling. Once again setting off all of Tsugumu's traps from the sound of things.
"That sounds like quite the ruckus." Nagito said as he found Hinata's paralyzed body. "I swear those traps were broken. I am not lying." He said.
Hinata sighed, because he immediately deduced that for whatever reason Nagito had for walking around the downstairs hallway. Nagito triggered some sort of delay in the traps.
"I can't help but wonder if your luck is dangerous or useful Nagito." Hinata said.
Nagito smiled, "It's a matter of perspective." he said.
Perhaps the Ultimate Luck meant "Ultimate Misfortune for Others". Though it didn't matter, because the sounds of heavy fighting came to a close.
"I think everything has calmed down." Nagito said before hearing another shot from Tsumugu's weapon.
"Senketsu!" Ryuko yelled.
Hinata immediately started throwing his body around, "Ryuko!" Hinata yelled, thinking his sister is in danger.
Fenrir growled, "I'm powering down from your weak useless ass." He said as Hinata returned to his normal form.
However, there was still some numbness in body. Making it difficult for Hinata to get moving with haste.
"Would you like some assistance?" Nagito asked.
"You wouldn't be able to move me quickly enough." Hinata answered as he started throwing his body across the floor.
"Perhaps I should ask one of the hall monitors for some help." Nagito said as he left the room.
As Nagito left, all sorts of thoughts entered Hinata's mind. He didn't know what that crazed hunter was up to or why he wanted to destroy the kamui. However, he had little doubt that it was anything good and as this stress built up. Hinata started to feel desperate as his anxiety started to build up.
"No more!" Hinata yelled as he used every bit of energy he could muster as his stress built up.
"I know I've been putting you down, with good reason I might add, though you're going to break yourself this way." Fenrir said. "The only reason I'm willing to work with you is because your body can handle me. Even now, I can feel your blood pressure rising. You're going to kill yourself with that much stress." He explained.
"It doesn't matter, I need to help Ryuko. It doesn't matter if I don't have super talents and super clothes." Hinata said as he dragged himself down the stairs.
"You're hurting yourself with that soft heart. Your own emotions are more of a danger." Fenrir said.
Hinata gripped the handrail to the stairway. After gaining some feeling in his arm, Hinata pushed enough pressure into his hand, causing it to crack.
"Then again, I can at least talk to you when you have your emotions." Fenrir said. "Are you willing to work with me then… new guy?" He asked.
As Hinata's body started to regain feeling, one of his eyes had turned bright red.
With Ryuko
The scream from earlier had been from Ryuko witnessing Senketsu being shot by Tsugumu. After running out of energy, Ryuko found herself running towards the bathroom. In an attempt to save his wearer, Senketsu tried to ambush Tsugumu while telling Ryuko to make a run for it. Only to be shot several times and end up nailed to the floor.
"Do you see the truth now? Your kamui tried to leave you for dead to save it's own ass." Tsugumu asked. "It doesn't care about you!" He added.
"You're wrong." Ryuko whispered, looking traumatized.
"I am not! It was running because it was done with you!" Tsugumu exclaimed.
"He was trying to protect me." Ryuko said.
"Like hell it was!" Tsugumu shouted in denial.
"He was protecting me!" Ryuko shouted back.
"It was a parasite!" Tsugumu roared before hearing the ceiling shatter.
Tsugumu immediately noticed the same eyes that Fenrir and Senketsu shared amongst the dust cloud. He didn't hesitate to open fire and permanently disable Fenrir. However, he was surprised to only see the uniform, but then again… he wasn't. Tsugumu only felt hostile feelings towards clothing and believed that Fenrir had abandoned his wearer. While Fenrir is not sentimental like Senketsu, he worked as a decoy as well.
Though it wasn't something he enjoyed agreeing to.
"You better get the job done Kamakura." Fenrir growled out as he was nailed to the wall.
"You shouldn't doubt me." Hinata said in a low voice.
Tsugumu turned around and spotted Hinata right behind him. As he attacked Hinata with his weapon, Hinata countered with a punch to the Nudist Beach operative's abdomen. Tsugumu didn't recovered quickly enough to avoid an elbow jab to his back that knocked him to the ground. Then he felt a sharp pain in his lower back area.
"That's enough." Hinata said as his monochromatic eyes stared into Tsugumu's soul.
Tsugumu suddenly realized that he couldn't move his body. The most he could do is speak and make his eyelids twitch. He would have glared at Hinata if he could as the boy squats down to look at him better.
"You want to destroy my kamui. Why?" Hinata asked.
Unknown to anyone present in the room minus Fenrir in the past minute. Hinata's alter ego, the experiment that was meant to embody hope, had appeared. Izuru Kamakura had returned and was not going to hold back against Tsugumu.
"Clothing is evil, it's bound to betray… AUGH!" Tsugumu was interrupted by Izuru stepping on his head.
"I asked for your reasoning, not your opinion." Izuru interrupted as he slowly applied more pressure..
"Hajime, what's going on with you?" Ryuko asked.
"What did you do to him Fenrir? I can sense so much coldness in Hajime." Senketsu asked.
"Don't blame me. The kid was hiding stuff from me too. At least this one willing to be tough." Fenrir said, having only learned about Izuru Kamakura right now.
Izuru continued to harm Tsugumu, "I won't ask you again." he said.
Tsugumu felt angry, "I'm going to only tell you two things. The first, there was someone who thought humans and clothes weren't enemies, but she was a fool." he said.
Without any context, that just sounded very stupid. Any empathetic person would feel sorry for someone thinking that statement made any sense.
"In the end, she was betrayed by clothing." Tsugumu continued.
"We know how slavery to fashion works!" Fenrir growled.
"Two, the road you are going down leads to the same fate." Tsugumu said.
Izuru continued to give Tsugumu a blank stare, "I have no idea what you are trying to tell me." He said.
Suddenly, a push broom was smashed over Tsumugu's head. Everyone turned to see that Mako had arrived and was the one to hit Tsumugu.
"I don't know either, but I do know this. Ryuko only has one pair of clothes." Mako said before a spotlight came on.
Hallelujah!
"Is this going to be a running gag?" Fenrir asked.
"Is Mako going to give her weird speech? I can't see anything." Senketsu said as his face was on the floor.
Mako proceeded to do her strange poses, "Ryuko only has one pair of clothes left and so what if she treats them like friends! There's nothing wrong with talking to them and hanging out with them! They're like the most reliable companion you can ever have!" she explained.
"Humans and clothing can never be friends!" Tsugumu argued.
"But humans and humans can and we can develop bonds with clothes. Before I met Ryuko, my only friends were the ones I made up in my head! So don't you dare do or say anything bad to Senketsu!" Mako said as she removed the nails around Senketsu and Fenrir.
"You are a fool. So was she." Tsugumu said, thinking about his sister.
Kinue was a scientist who worked under Dr. Matoi as Tsugumu and Aikuro did. Only during some testing, Kinue died during an experiment but told Tsugumu to keep her ideal of peace and to continue the experiments. From then on, Tsugumu created his philosophy that clothes would always be the enemy of humanity and thus did not want to risk the kamui's continued existence and potential takeover of their hosts.
"You need to destroy those uniforms now!" Tsugumu said.
Ryuko cradled Senketsu in her arms, "You won't be able to get this without killing me!" she threatened.
"If there's no other option. So be it." Tsugumu said before Izuru dragged him up by the mohawk.
"I do not care for Ryuko Matoi, but Hajime Hinata does. I do not like him, but he is my partner. I listen to him and work under Fenrir." Izuru said.
"And I'll rip you apart if you touch my peon!" Fenrir threatened.
"And I'll end you if you so much as touch Ryuko!" Senketsu threatened.
Tsugumu gasped as he briefly heard the voices of the kamui. Only finding himself looking up at Izuru's blank stare.
"This will be my act of mercy. Be grateful." Izuru said as he released the needle on Tsugumu's back. "Now get out of my sight." he said before throwing Tsugumu out the window.
Tsugumu quickly broke out of his shock and fired a grappling cable at the building. Where he saved himself from falling to his death. Realizing the damage he caused and attention he gained as well as having an understanding of the two kamui users. Tsugumu retreated before any other trouble occurred.
Leaving behind Izuru who quickly put on Fenrir and picked up Ryuko in his arms, "Hang on." he said before dashing away at super human speeds.
Later that day, Hinata's house
Hinata woke up with a loud cough, "Where… Ryuko?" he asked.
"I'm right here big guy." Ryuko said as she sat on Hinata's bedside. "You really freaked me out with your alternate person." she said.
"What did you see?" Hinata frantically asked.
"Don't worry about it right now, you collapsed after you scared away that perverted b***. Still, I feel ashamed about not beating that guy." Ryuko said. "We're stuck dealing with grunts while someone who knows about these uniforms is out there and could have killed us." she said.
Hinata grunted as he sat up in bed, "I can see that." he said.
"I think we need to train harder or come up with a plan of some kind. There's no telling how strong Satsuki and other people are getting." Ryuko said.
"Well, we already have Kazuichi onboard to make weapons." Hinata said. "We can try speaking with everyone else, but they respect and fear Satsuki too much to consider joining your cause." he said.
"I know that." Ryuko said with a sigh. "Also, I know you and Satsuki are supposed to be boss and minion or something. So don't worry about anything. I won't hold it against you. I don't know what's going on, but I'll trust you." she explained.
Hinata smiled, "I'm glad to hear that. I've felt pretty alone after waking up from that nightmare at Hopes Peak." he said.
"You should tell me about that someday. If you're comfortable I mean." Ryuko said.
Hinata lied back down, "Okay, because there's a whole lot of things I can't explain in one go." he said. "What happened to the man with the mohawk?" he asked.
"You threw him out a window, but that Rambo impersonating jackass probably survived." Ryuko answered. "Though, can you explain why you were all cold and evil looking? One of your eyes even turned red like you were ready to transform or something." she asked.
"You'll have to listen to my overly long story first." Hinata answered.
"How long is it?" Ryuko asked.
"Depends, how long are the Lord of the Rings book series?" Hinata asked.
"Shit." Ryuko cursed.
The next day
As with most days, Ryuko started off her day with demanding answers from Aikuro. While Hinata was unconscious from having reverted from turning into Izuru. Ryuko attempted to get some research done on Tsugumu and managed to get Mataro to help her by using less than comforting means to convince him. Which lead her to threatening Aikuro with her scissor blade.
Meanwhile, Hinata was being a good brother by tying up Aikuro and hanging him upside down in his own office.
"You two must be into kinky stuff." Aikuro said with a smirk.
That's when Ryuko moved her blade dangerously close to his neck, "You're giving me answers right now!" she demanded.
"I have no idea what you are asking me." Aikuro said, feigning ignorance.
"Little brother." Ryuko said.
Hinata sighed as he pulled out a can of gasoline, a water soaker and a flashlight. A few seconds later, Hinata had made himself a homemade flamethrower.
"Are you seriously going to burn me?" Aikuro asked with wide eyes.
"Just a few inches of the tip." Ryuko answered.
"The tip of what!?" Aikuro asked.
"Answer my questions and I'll answer yours" Ryuko said as she pulled out the photo of Aikuro with Tsugumu.
"Okay fine! You got me! That's Tsugumu and he's an associate of mine." Aikuro admitted.
"What are you two up to?" Ryuko asked.
Aikuro sighed as his shirt started to unbutton itself, "We're part of a special group. We're called, Nudist Beach." he said dramatically.
"Didn't we cover this a few days ago?" Hinata asked.
"I think we did." Ryuko said before poking Aikuro with the scissor blade. "I want to hear more than that." she said.
"What exactly do you want to know? Tsugumu just lost a little bit of self control is all." Aikuro replied.
Hinata sweat dropped, "That's not a good excuse." he said.
"Well, we're both a part of it. We're not all happy with the Kiryuin family ruling over everyone like you Hajime." Aikuro said.
"I still have mixed feelings about it, so don't try getting into my head about that." Hinata said.
Aikuro sighed, "Look, Tsugumu's beliefs aren't changing but at least for now. I managed to get him to calm down and stop going after you both." He said. "Dr. Matoi believes in you two, not just because of the kamui uniforms you wear. But because he believes in his kids." he said.
Ryuko's eye twitched, "I know my dad and I had our issues, but the fatherly love thing isn't saving you here." she said.
"it was worth a try. Still, I guarantee you that Tsugumu won't be chasing after you two. For now at least." Aikuro responded.
"Hajime, leave him hanging." Ryuko said.
"Sure." Hinata said.
"Hey, you can't leave me alone like this! I'm your teacher for crying out loud!" Aikuro shouted as the two opened the door.
"And you're in a cult of perverts." Ryuko shot back as she slammed the door.
Aikuro sighed, "No respect." he said before watching the door open again. Where Chisa stared at him with wide eyes, "Hey Chisa, care to give me a hand?" he asked with his smirk.
"I'm not into Shibari." Chisa said as she slowly walked backwards.
"Hey, don't leave just yet! I seriously need help!" Aikuro yelled out.
After school, Hinata's van
Hinata looked at Teruteru with questioning eyes, "I don't feel like this is right." he said.
"Sure it is, you got the artistic skill. You just need the flavor and passion." Teruteru said.
"No I meant by the fact that we're having to cook in the back of my van. I swear, I've seen this on that live action Scooby Doo movie." Hinata said, but Teruteru ignored him.
While Hinata waited for his sister and friends. He was being given a quick lesson by Teruteru after asking the Ultimate Chef for some advice on something he wanted to cook for dinner. Now Hinata was going through an intense crash course.
"Also, I just wanted to make tamogayaki." Hinata said.
"Now you have learned how to make that and much more!" Teruteru said as they looked at the grill where they cooked. "Pretty convenient that you have a grill in your van." he said.
"You can thank Kazuichi for that." Hinata said as he lets Kazuichi handle most of the modifications.
Before the cooking lesson could continue, Sanageyama came walking up to the can and kicked the side of it. The two boys looked right outside and found the swordsman looking impatient.
"Hinata, where is Matoi?" Sanageyama asked.
"Probably coming out right now. Do you need something?" Hinata curiously asked.
"Yeah, I want…" Sanageyama was interrupted by Teruteru shoving food into his mouth.
"Uzu-san, you gotta tell me. Do you like my spiced edamame or Hinata's?" Teruteru asked as he kept shoving food into his mouth.
Sanageyama spat out the food, "I hate spicy foods!" he yelled. "Just tell me where Matoi is!" he demanded.
"I'm right here jackass." Ryuko said as she walked up to Sanageyama. "You have something to say to me?" She asked.
"Good, I've been looking for you." Sanageyama said.
"That's what she said." Teruteru whispered, causing Sanageyama to look angry.
So he went straight to the point, "I think the school has been going too soft on you. In fact, it's time someone humbles you." Sanageyama said.
"Is that what you call it?" Ryuko asked.
"That's right, so don't make any plans tomorrow. I'll be waiting for you after school in the Kendo club dojo." Sanageyama said before leaving.
Ryuko snarled, "Jackass, but then again." she said as she started smirking. "It's going to be fun to put one of the devas in their place. I bet that will stick it to Satsuki." she said.
Teruteru whistled, "Oh boy, you might need a good luck charm then. I can cook you up something to… AHH!" he screamed as blowdart hit him the neck.
Hinata caught Teruteru who almost fell out of the van. He quickly removed the toxin and spotted a figure in the distance who was spying on them.
"Ryuko, take care of him. I'll go after that guy." Hinata said as he activated Fenrir.
"Hey wait! Shouldn't you call that nurse girl!? What if this pervert is poisoned!?" Ryuko shouted.
"Just take him to Mako's dad! Kazuichi added a siren to the van so you pretend to be an ambulance!" Hinata quickly shouted as he ran into the distance.
Ryuko groaned as she shoved Teruteru into the back of the van, "Hang on pervert." She said as she closed the doors.
Ryuko quickly ran to the front where the driver seat is. Just as she prepared to drive away. Mako suddenly appeared in the seat next to her while wearing a paramedic uniform.
"What's the status Dr. Ryuko?" Mako asked.
"I'm not a doctor and… how.. why are you wearing… never mind! Let's just get this guy to your dad already!" Ryuko exclaimed as Mako activated the siren.
As the girls drove out of the school. Teruteru's body started shaking and hitting every wall in the van whenever the girl's*** a bump on the road. Unfortunately, the roads haven't been fixed after the No Late Day event and the way back home is a long drive on it's own. Barazo would no doubt make a lot of money from his new incoming patient.
"Oh man, we're going to be eating a lot when dad gets paid." Mako said.
The next day, after school
Clearly, Dr. Barazo Mankanshoku was improving as Teruteru is still alive. Most alive anyways, for Teruteru could at least breath and speak despite looking like he had found some bad mushrooms to add to the ingredients list.
"Is he still alive?" Hiyoko asked as she pinched Teruteru's chest.
"Ah… ooh… ah!" Teruteru blurted out.
"He's perfectly fine." Ibuki said with two thumbs up.
"Ah…" Teruteru muttered.
"Maybe Mikan should look at him." Hiyoko asked.
Mikan just stared at Teruteru in horror as she saw the giant bandage around his arm. She saw some stains and could only wonder if that was the result of the injury or the doctor's poor work. At the end of the day, Mikan is just a really great nurse and she had her limits to giving healthcare.
"I think an emergency room will be needed." Mikan said.
"Everyone be quiet, Matoi and Sanageyama are about to fight." Nekamaru said as everyone in class arrived at the dojo to watch the battle unfold.
With the devas
Jakuzure and the boys were in their own box style seating where they watched the fights. The council member responsible for the non-athletic groups looked at the fight with annoyance.
"Why does Sanageyama get first dibs? If it was me, I would have beaten Matoi quick and easy." Jakuzure said arrogantly.
"This exhibition match has already been approved by Lady Satsuki herself." Inumuta said.
"Where is Lady Satsuki anyways?" Jakuzure asked.
"She's on a business trip. She said that she didn't have to watch the fight to know the outcome." Inumuta answered.
"Really? I guess Lady Satsuki knows that Sanageyama is going to screw this up." Jakuzure said.
"Regardless of our beliefs, we cannot motivate Matoi by thinking negatively about Sanageyama. However, it will be shameful if all of his boasting does not lead to success." Gamagori said.
That's when Inumuta started tapping on the device on his wrist, "I should collect some data on this. The outcome will be of great value." he said. "I can also send this to test Fujisaki's growth." he said.
"Did you take on that crossdresser as an apprentice or something?" Jakuzure asked.
At the fight
Ryuko had transformed with Senketsu while Sanageyama transformed his own uniform into Blade Regalia.
"Kamui aren't the only uniforms that can transform." Sanageyama boasted.
"That info is pretty obvious by this point. Or did you want to look smart in front of everyone?" Ryuko taunted.
Sanageyama gritted his teeth in anger at the insult. As Ryuko had leaped at him with great speed, she brought down her scissor blade and sliced his entire kamui's battle armor in half. The battle armor then disappeared before everyone's eyes as if it were never there.
"What the?" Ryuko asked before being hit from behind.
"An afterimage!" Senketsu shouted as Ryuko crashed into the ground.
From there, Ryuko quickly dashed at Sanageyama but missed with every attempted slash. Each time she missed, Sanageyama would hit her with his boken shaped sword. After the last hit, Ryuko quickly recovered and changed up her tactics.
"Senketsu, we'll need to speed things up here." Ryuko said.
"Right!" Senketsu agreed as he increases his user's speed.
Ryuko proceeded to run around Sangeyama in a circle. Hoping that his natural speed did not match his reaction speed. Only to learn that it wasn't relevant as Sanageyama was quickly able to spot where Ryuko was during her run. Resulting in Ryuko being repeatedly hit and it didn't help her as her speed made it look like as if she had duplicated herself.
Now the whole audience could watch as Sangeyama repeatedly hit multiple Ryuko's upside the head.
"It doesn't matter if you were faster than me. Because my eyes can see anything and keep up with them." Sanageyama said before sending Ryuko crashing into the floor again.
By this point, Ryuko was forced onto the defensive and did a good job at stopping each strike. However, there is much more to Sanageyama's eyesight than just having developed greater accuracy. As he stated, he has a keen eye for details and this included Ryuko's fighting style from stance to preferred movements.
"Steady Ryuko! Steady!" Senketsu told her.
"I know! Blocking is all I can do right now!" Ryuko replied.
Sanageyama already realized this and stepped back. As he started reaching into his back and pulled out more boken swords and attached them to finger tips of his Blade Regalia.
"Let's see you try and block this! Men Dou Kote!" Sanageyama shouts as he increases the attack by tenfold. "Your scissor blade can't slice through a Goku Uniform if it can't land a single hit!" he said before dropping Ryuko again.
The swordsmen laughed and mocked Ryuko, even as she slowly stood back up again. He assumed that Ryuko had moved on from being an exhibitionist to a masochist. Unknown to him, Ryuko had come up with a plan up after hearing Fenir.
"Why don't you blind the asshole or something!? Maybe he'll stop talking about his eyes when he can't see shit!" Fenrir shouted.
"You're not helping!" Senketsu shouted back.
"No, he's right." Ryuko said.
"What?" Senketsu asked.
"Senketsu, I'll leave myself slight exposed. There, you just need to break a bit of yourself and try to blind him with parts of your fabric." Ryuko explained.
Senketsu accepted the idea and when Ryuko was suddenly hit again by Sanageyama. Parts of the body armor chipped and broke off the kamui. Sanageyama cheered for an early victory without noticing the broken fragments break into individual pieces of fabric. Where they covered Sanageyama's face mask and obstructed his view.
"What? I can't see!" Sanageyama shouted as he left himself wide open.
Where Ryuko extended her scissor blade's length, "Finally, finishing move: Sen-i-Soshitsu!" She shouted as she brought down her blade.
Ending the attack with Sanageyama being on the list of people Ryuko has defeated. If it was any consolation, Ryuko would remember this fight because it meant she defeated someone close to Satsuki.
"You did it Ryuko! You defeated a member of the Devas!" Mako exclaimed with much happiness in her voice.
Sanageyama quickly stood up in defiance, "No way, I can still fight! I'll do it naked if I have to!" he exclaimed.
Gamagori was angry by the audacity. He was not happy by Ryuko winning either, but for someone like Sanageyama to deny this loss was an offense to Satsuki in his own opinion. Just as he prepared to whip the boy for losing without dignity. Hinata suddenly ran up to Sanageyama and kicked him in the chest.
"You lost and you're naked. Now accept it and put on some pants." Hinata said calmly while pulling out a pair of shorts from his back pocket.
Ryuko sweat dropped, "Do you just keep those around?" She asked.
"I have the Ultimate Seamstress talent among my abilities." Hinata answered.
Sanageyama slapped the shorts away, "I don't accept this as a loss and I absolutely don't accept your free pair of shorts!" he shouted. "So I'm not leaving here without fight!" he added as he raised his sword.
Hinata looked at Peko, "Can I borrow a wooden sword?" he asked.
Peko looked surprised but with a nod from Fuyuhiko. Peko tossed him a spare wooden sword. Hinata then put on a blindfold and raised his weapon at Sanageyama.
"Oh, you're taking Matoi's place now?" Sanageyama asked.
The next minute was filled with the sounds of a good sword fight. With the next minute ending with Sanageyama being repeatedly hit by a wooden sword.
"That's enough!" Gamagori yelled. "Sanageyama! Not only did you shamelessly refuse to accept defeat! Your behavior and pride only further disgraces Lady Satsuki's name!" he added as he jumped down to drag Sanageyama away.
"This also means that he lost twice right?" Ryuko asked.
Gamagori looked displeased and annoyed, "Unfortunately, that is true. Ryuko Matoi and Hajime Hinata win. Now get out! Classes are over and club activities have begun!" he announced.
Later that night, Hinata's house
Hinata looked at Fenrir curiously, "I was always sure that Fenrir would hate being ironed." he said.
Ryuko snorted, "Apparently the kamui enjoys it. Just look at Senketsu." she said.
"This feels amazing." Senketsu said.
"I'm almost forgetting that my wearer is a wimp." Fenrir said as he looked tired.
"At least now, I don't have to worry about my uniform getting as mad anymore." Hinata said.
"See? I always have your back." Ryuko said. "Thanks for dealing with that Sanageyama guy." she said.
Hinata smiled, "Yeah, well I'm not letting my sister get molested." he said.
"Hey Hajime, won't Satsuki mad if she hears about you fighting Sanageyama? I know Gamagori was already mad because he was being a sore loser, but Sanageyama is still one of her divas." Kazuichi said in the background.
"From what I heard, Satsuki wasn't around because she didn't care much for the fight." Hinata answered. "She probably already had a low opinion of Sanageyama anyways." he said.
"I hope you're right." Kazuichi said.
"Watcha working on Kazuichi?" Mako asked, who is also here.
"I got an idea to add storage for the van." Kazuichi answered as he was drawing up plans.
"Cool, can you add lots of snacks?" Mako asked.
"Uh, it's not for picnic trips." Kazuichi said.
Mako suddenly raised her hands into the air.
Hallelujah!
"Mako no! Not in the house!" Hinata shouted.
At the same time, with Satsuki
Satsuki had returned from her trip and found Chiaki waiting for her in the office, "Do you have news for me, Nanami-san?" she asked.
Chiaki nodded, "I meant to bring this up, but you left. It happened when that man with the mohawk attacked Hajime." she answered.
"What news is there to this attack?" Satsuki asked, expecting something unique.
The last thing the Kiryuin heiress wants to hear is a repetition of the same story or an unnecessary backstory about the attacker.
"When the fight broke out between Ryuko and Hajime against the man. I tried to help them, but when I came close. I witnessed a change in him." Chiaki explained and started feeling nervous under Satsuki's gaze. "For a brief moment, Hajime became cold and brutal towards the man. In that moment, I realized… that Izuru Kamakura briefly came back." she finished.
Now Satsuki was interested, "Do you speculate any reason why Hinata's personality had been reverted?" she asked.
"The man appeared to be dangerous and defeated so many clubs. I think Hajime felt desperate and he did threaten the man for attacking Ryuko." Chiaki explained while trying to look away.
"I see, so what you are saying is that the "Ultimate Hope" can return under intense stress. This is quite disturbing." Satsuki said, feeling unsure about Hinata losing himself.
"But I think there's still some compassion within him because of how close he became with Ryuko." Chiaki added.
"Yes, this is quite a bit to ponder on. I suggest you stay closer to your lover. Clearly, you understand him the most and better learn about these personality changes." Satsuki explained before someone stormed into her office.
Satsuki looked and saw Sanageyama, drenched in rain water, coming in and prostrating himself. As Satsuki had predicted (though she never asked), Sanageyama was not ready to face Ryuko and lost the battle. Satsuki would have sighed and rolled her eyes if she were a lesser person but right now, she had better things to attend to.
"Your loyalty is noted, but it you are not pardoned for your downfall due to your arrogance." Satsuki said.
"I'm not here to apologize Lady Satsuki, even though I do admit to screwing up." Sanageyama said. "I want to ask for a second chance. I know that my eyesight made me too arrogant." he said.
"What use do I have for subordinates with no resolve? You are pathetic for asking such a request." Satsuki said coldly.
Sanageyama raised his head at Satsuki, "I do have resolve! Here's proof!" he exclaimed.
Chiaki gasped as she covered her mouth in horror. The Ultimate Gamer almost fell out of her seat when she witnessed the harm Sanageyama did to himself. Satsuki on the other hand, looked impressed and saw merit in her subordinates plea for redemption.
"So you have." Satsuki said.
"Lady Satsuki he… he…" Chiaki struggled to say as she tried to look away.
Satsuki placed a hand on Chiaki's shoulder, "Do not cower, Chiaki Nanami, this is one of the highest forms of resolve. This is the result of my subordinate realizing his failure despite my advice to them." she said. Chiaki still didn't like what she saw, "Now, I believe this amount devotion may be deserving of a rare second chance." she said as Sanageyama smiled.
Chiaki had been through a lot of physical pain and tiny bit of mental torture. However, she was disturbed by what Sanageyama had done to his eyes that he was so proud of. He took away his own gift by asking Shiro to sew them shut.
"You should be on your way Nanami, you've done your class president a good service as well." Satsuki told her.
"Y-Yes president." Chiaki said as she stumbled away from the office.
The next morning
As Hinata drove towards the academy, his eye began to twitch. It wasn't even close to first period and he found his sister in the middle of another challenge, but by the same person this time.
"I guess that Sanageyama guy is a masochist." Ryuko said with a smirk.
"You got this Ryuko! Show him who's the real boss!" Mako exclaimed.
Hinata sighed as he drove in, "Take my Buster sword and make it quick with him." he said.
"I think I can…"
"Take my sword as well." Hinata interrupted.
"Fine, I guess it's a good way to embarrass him." Ryuko said as they pulled up near the new arena. Where Ryuko saw Satsuki standing on top of the academy building, "Hey Satsuki, I never knew you were so soft and charitable! You really want me to humiliate your b*** again?" she asked.
Satsuki smiled at Ryuko, "Charitable? That depends, but soft? I think you haven't been paying attention Matoi." she said. "Sanageyama has matured and learned from his past mistakes as you can see." she said.
"I doubt it." Ryuko said as she grabbed the Buster Sword. "Might as well embarrass him. I hope you can handle the shame. Your Divas represent you in a way, right?" she asked.
"I will not be the one feeling ashamed." Satsuki said as Ryuko exited the van.
As Ryuko left to meet Sanageyama, Hinata noticed Chiaki running up to his van.
"Hey Chiaki, I haven't seen you in a while. Is everything alright?" Hinata asked.
Chiaki gave Hinata a worried look, "Hajime, can we talk really quickly?" she asked.
"Sure thing." Hinata said as he got out.
"I'm just gonna leave you guys so I don't make this awkward and stuff." Mako said as she ran out of the van.
Hinata nodded at Mako, "Okay!" he said. "So what do you want to talk about Chiaki?" he asked.
Chiaki answered by grabbing onto Hinata and hugging him tightly.

NOTE: So I'm very annoyed, this was meant to be released a day ago, but I'm not going to deal with the stress of explaining what happened. I know, "it's a draft, it's just going to be saved.", well I accidentally deleted the whole thing and I'm lucky that Aclux is an amazing friend who helps me out with some of these stories and saved a part of this story. Along with a couple of other guys who are really amazing and will be mentioned elsewhere.
Anyways, I'm going to try and speed up the stories without dragging it out. I think the upcoming chapters will be faster since some episodes have shorter plot lines without me having to resort to needless filler.
Also, it probably doesn't matter as much but my White Day Poll is still up. Not sure if anyone is interested in voting, but I think I have my winner already.
