Chapter 14
Hannoji Academy
Hinata was surprised by Chiaki suddenly embracing him. In an attempt to not be akward, Hinata hugged her back and kept her close in his arms. Neither of them noticed that Mako stayed behind and was hiding behind the van. She tried to leave thinking it was some teenage love stuff and didn't want to make it awkward, but now she thinks some passionate stuff is about to happen.
'Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Are they going to kiss or something?' Mako wondered. 'No Mako, don't focus on that! Ryuko needs support!' she thought as she scurried off.
Meanwhile Hinata was slowly breaking away from the hug. At the same time, trying to think of a good way to react to the sudden affection.
"You seem quite cuddly today." Hinata said.
The results of today's battle: Hajime Hinata already loses.
Cuddly? Really? He couldn't think of a better thing to say. It's a good thing Chiaki is super patient with him.
"I just missed you." Chiaki said with a smile. "I've been doing a lot of work since I'm still the class representative." she said.
It wasn't a total lie, sure her powers were gone and she's just speaking on the behalf of her class and Chisa and Aikuro aren't called in. Though, despite their faith in Satsuki's leadership, Chiaki has been feeling some doubts lately. Something about her telling Satsuki about Hinata's progress feels wrong. Maybe it's because of the sudden friendly relationship he has with Ryuko and despite Ryuko turning herself into a public enemy and thus being closer to the girl.
But Chiaki was doing this to watch over Hinata right? To ensure the safety of her class and help Hinata too. Especially after freeing him from the influence of being the Ultimate Hope.
"I missed you too. Sometimes I forget that we just need space sometimes." Hinata said with a bright smile. "Anyways, is that all you wanted to talk about or do you have to do your class representing thing?" he asked.
"Let's just watch the fight. I think Ryuko would want you to support her." Chiaki said as she took Hinata's hand.
"I guess, though knowing her. She's just going push herself harder when things get tough." Hinata said. "I wish I had that same spirit a long time ago." he said.
Chiaki giggled, "You have it now, don't you?" she asked as she followed him to the arena.
With Ryuko
Ryuko gave Sanageyama a confused look, "Are you a ninja turtle now or something?" she asked as she pointed at the headband.
"No, I'm not a stupid ninja turtle. This is my redemption." Sanageyama said.
"Your magic eye mask is going to help you see better?" Ryuko asked in a mocking tone.
Sanageyama smirked, "Laugh it up Matoi, it won't end the same way as yesterday. You'll see what happens when a man is forced to change." he said.
"It's not a change if the end result is still the same. I guess you're too blind to see it." Ryuko said, not realizing the irony just yet.
"You'll see, now are we going to fight or hurl insults? Because I can still hear very clearly." Sanageyama said.
"Fine, you asked for a second ass kicking. I shouldn't be surprised if Satsuki gives you a third chance." Ryuko said as she transformed into her kamui.
"Blade Regalia!" Sanageyama shouts out as he transformed into an updated version of his Three Star Goku Uniform.
"His uniform has definitely changed Ryuko. There is no doubt he got stronger and adjusted to a new fighting style." Senketsu said.
"I can see that, but let's see if he actually learned his lesson." Ryuko said as she strapped the Buster Sword to her back. She then rushed around Sanageyama, "Same as last time, Senketsu!" she shouted.
Senketsu proceeded to tear of fragments of himself and started blocking every hole in Blade Regalia. Ryuko then jumped high into the air and prepared to finish the job in a single streak of slashes.
"Your Tangetsu is gone again! You should have tried something new!" Ryuko said before being hit by a bokken.
As a part of the upgrades, Sanageyama was able to fire an extendable bokken from his uniform's palm. Which came as a surprise to Ryuko once she was hit in the gut and sent crashing. That's where he revealed a brand new secret.
"My Tangetsu is already gone. I sewed my eyes shut!" Sanageyama announced.
"Ok, that's just gross." Ryuko said, imagining the disgusting procedure.
Even Shiro, who Sanageyama approached about this, had said that such an operation would be a detriment to his style. However, Sanageyama already had his mind made up about this decision. Now, it appears that Sanageyama has somehow adjusted to fighting with no eyesight. Essentially making Ryuko's previous strategy entirely useless.
"Now it's time for divine retribution!" Sanageyama shouts as he rapidly swings his bokkens at Ryuko.
"Okay, so that plan backfired. I guess we'll have to try hitting him harder." Ryuko said as she tries to parry each bokken strike.
"Then perhaps the Buster Sword could land a heavier blow to pierce that uniform." Senketsu suggested.
Ryuko briefly looked over her shoulder, "That thing is heavy and thick, but I think you're right." she said. "I just need to actually reach this blind bastard." She said before breaking away from the attacks.
Ryuko then started sprinting directly towards Sanageyama in an attempt to reach him. However, she found herself walking into the equivalent of a minefield with several bokken swords trying to swat her away like a fly. However, when Ryuko thought she was close enough and equipped her brother's sword. Ryuko had attempted to deliver a heavy swing with the Buster Sword only for it to get stuck on a bokken. At that moment, Ryuko was exposed and sent crashing across the ground.
However, just as Sanageyama was gloating and mocking Ryuko who had no real strategy. She saw the Buster Sword hit the ground along with a bokken that had been split in half.
"I guess that sword had good strength to compensate for how slow it is." Ryuko said with a smirk.
However, that smirk disappeared as she could feel the menacing aura from Sanageyama. Despite how slowly he was approaching Ryuko, the girl could feel this anger or hatred or whatever this negative feeling is called begin to paralyze her body. However, Ryuko's body started to wake up again as she raised up the Buster Sword to block Sanageyama's attacks.
"Men! Dou! Kote!" Sanageyama shouts with every strike. Sanageyama smile as Ryuko struggles to with each strike, "You're afraid of me now, aren't you Matoi? You should be, because I can see even more now than ever before." he said.
Satsuki smiled, "The self inflicted blindness had helped improve his affinity with the Goku Uniform. Shingantsu, eyes of the mind." She said, fully understanding Sanageyama's new method.
That's when Shiro ran towards Satsuki, "But Lady Satsuki, that cannot be possible!" he said in disbelief.
Satsuki found Shiro's concern to be of no matter, "The Goku Uniform is now Sanageyama's eyes and all of his other senses." she said.
With the students
"Sanageyama is going pretty hard on Matoi, don't you think?" Naegi asked his classmates.
"You're completely wrong Naegi." Sakura spoke up.
"What do you mean?" Naegi asked.
"Sanageyama's negative feelings aren't just vengeance or his wounded pride. This is the sign of his resolution and redemption in Satsuki's eyes." Sakura explained.
Some of the students agreed, "Sakura's right, Sanageyama pretty much made an ass out of himself last time. I get wanting to get even, but he didn't accept the loss." Mondo said.
Ishimaru nodded in agreement, "I do not agree with the methods, but in the end. Sanageyama-san only brought shame and his strikes are filled with his resolve as Sakura-san said!" he exclaimed.
"Wow, I never saw it like that." Naegi said, feeling awkward now.
"Honestly, I felt lost by this too." Sayaka said, sounding embarrassed as well.
Meanwhile, Class 77 had similar thoughts. With Nekumaru and Peko having similar thoughts as Sakura. While others like Teruteru and Kazuichi were feeling cowardly behind this intimidating aura that Sanageyama possesses. Then there was Chiaki who was looking at the fight with her visor, but noticed something in her scans.
"Sanageyama's stats are much higher, but his AP is running low at a fast rate." Chiaki said.
"What? He's getting tired?" Hinata asked.
"Yes, Ryuko is losing a lot of HP, but her stamina is still half full. That's because I can see that Sanageyama's perception and other skills have increased and are adding to his overuse of power." Chiaki explained.
As Hinata took a moment to understand that, the Ultimate Gamer was thinking about sharing this with Shiro and Satsuki. She could see that Satsuki felt pleased with her subordinate's resolve, but it's coming at a bigger cost. Sure it's one thing to die for a cause, but it's another thing to do so recklessly. Satsuki might welcome sacrifice, but not a needless one.
Chiaki would be sure to send the data she has to Inumuta and see if he might find any interest in this.
Back to the fight
Ryuko was being repeatedly beaten by Sanageyama's angry strikes.
"Men! Dou! Kote! Men! Dou! Kote! Men! Dou! Kote!" Sanageyama shouts every word between his rapid strikes.
However, just as Ryuko looks like she's beaten. She does her best to get back up and try to strike at Sanageyama to the best of her ability. However, the blind swordsmen keeps avoiding her strikes whenever he seems to be open.
"Men!"
"Dou!"
"Kote!"
*SHING*
Sanageyama quickly jumps back as he could feel his bokken being sliced off. As Ryuko started panting as she stood up, she raised up Hinata's Buster Sword. Once again, being able to break one of the bokkens. However, it didn't matter as Sanageyama quickly replaced his weapon with another he has in stock. Ryuko did her best to wield the weapon despite it's massive weight as it was her only chance of pushing Sanageyama's attacks back.
Just as she blocked the next strike, Blade Regalia began to release a lot of steam. At that moment, the Goku Uniform disabled itself and left Sanageyama in his base form.
"What happened?" Sanageyama asked as he casually blocked Ryuko's strike.
Only to be sent hitting the ground as his current bokken had shattered by the Buster Blade. With Sanageyama temporarily downed, Ryuko left the school as quickly as possible.
"Damn it! Not again!" Sanageyama said angrily.
"There is no shame!" Satsuki speaks up. "You have improved Sanagaeyama, but your Goku Uniform cannot match your new level of strength right now." she said.
Sanageyama sighed as he still felt disappointed, it was no victory but not a loss either. At the same time, his uniform became an extension of his body. Even with greater strength and improvement, his body is still bound to break down. Which is what happened to his uniform, it still had it's limits regardless of the turnout of this fight.
"I guess I'll have to fight Matoi some other time." Sanageyama said, deciding to be patient for once.
Once again, no one noticed the flying drone that was watching the whole battle from above.
Later that night
Barazo placed some transdermal patches on Ryuko to help the recovery of her wounds. At the same time, Ryuko was trying to keep herself from killing Mako's father as Barazo was leering at her body. Underneath Ryuko's tough tomboy exterior, she is still a developing woman who would likely grow to become beautiful.
However, it appeared that Hinata also developed the talent: Ultimate High School Level Big Brother. So now, he was giving Barazo and his son a scary look for leering at his sister.
"Uh… just finishing up the job Hajime. Your sister will be as good as new and ready to continue the fish mongering business." Barazo said nervously.
"Good to know." Hinata said, sounding calm despite the scary look he gave Barazo. "Also, I fixed your pipes. You'll save some money with less water leaking now." he said.
"I'm happy to hear that. We're so grateful to have you as a neighbor Hajime." Sukuyo said very happily.
Hinata smiled at the mother, "I'm happy to be of help." he said. "Anyways, I should get going." he said.
"Nonsense, you should stay for dinner. It's been so long since you've joined us." Sukuyo insisted.
"Yeah little bro, it's like being a part of a big family." Ryuko said as she finished her treatment.
"A family you say?" Hinata curiously asked.
"A big happy family and with the neighbor too!" Mako exclaimed with Guts barking in agreement.
The next morning
Mahiru smiled as Hinata asked her for advice on photography, Despite having her ultimate talent in his arsenal, Hinata wanted to ask an experienced professional for some tips. The tips regarded on taking a family photo of which Hinata was still trying to explain.
"So it's between you and Mako's family?" Mahiru asked.
"Yeah, it got me thinking last night when they invited me over for dinner. They're really nice people by the way and they even let Ryuko live under them without charging her rent." Hinata explained.
"I see." Mahiru said.
That's when Hinata sent a government agent crashing into a wall with his next punch. Hinata never intentionally meant to approach Mahiru since the circumstances involved members of Class 77 being abducted again. With Mahiru being the latest victim them time. Maybe they didn't see any efficiency from when they tried killing Teruteru with a poison blowdart.
"You know, I can offer more advice once we're out of this situation. No rush by the way." Mahiru said, trying to be nice.
Because this time, she was tied to a chair with a time bomb next to her.. Yes, the typical hostage situation movie trope. These guys were running out of ideas by this point.
"Hold on." Hinata said as he cut off Mahiru's ropes. "Anyways, what do you suggest about framing?" he asked as he grabbed her by the waist.
"I guess anywhere matters really, but the trick is getting everyone into frame. Like do you want full body or sitting down like at a dinner?" Mahiru asked as Hinata carried her out the door.
"Probably the former." Hinata answered as the building behind them exploded.
"Okay, this is what I suggest when adding the background for a full body photograph." Mahiru began to explain as they made their way towards the van.
At the school
"And just feel natural. Don't force any smiles or gestures, just feel relaxed and it will describe how you feel that very moment." Mahiru explained as they arrived at the academy.
"Thanks for the advice, I think that helps clear it up." Hinata said he approached the parking lot.
Only to hit some guy on a tight rope on accident. Hinata quickly pulled over and came running out of the van.
"Who was that?" Hinata asked.
"Maybe a member of the tight rope club? They have that right?" Mahiru asked, unsure of what other clubs are at Honnoji.
Hinata looked unsure, "Well, there are a lot of clubs. In fact, I think some of our classmates started their own clubs too." he said.
As Hinata started considering the plausibility of such a club. He saw several other club presidents flying over his head and landing on the tight rope club president. Mahiru decided to snap a quick photo of the spectacle for posterity reasons. Where Ryuko arrived to their sides and let out a tired yawn.
"Hey guys, there's nothing more fun than beating the crap out of club presidents right?" Ryuko asked.
"Are these people knew or where they always here?" Hinata asked.
Ryuko shrugged, "I don't know, I was talking to Mako about it when this guy from the "Knife Throwing Club" interrupted us." She said.
That's when Mako arrived, "I was about to talk about that. All of these guys used to be a part of the acrobatics club, but they split up so they can challenge you, Ryuko." she explained.
"Why?" Ryuko asked with some hint of annoyance in her voice.
"Everyone who challenges you is motivated by the promise of being promoted to a Three Star Goku Uniform. Except you have to be a Two Star first." Mako answered.
"And only the club presidents are two stars. So everyone has to form their own club." Mahiru quickly deduced.
"And that just means more work for Ryuko." Hinata said.
Mahiru placed a sympathetic hand on Ryuko's shoulder, "I'm sorry to hear that. Though I'm sure you can handle it." she said. She then faced Hinata once more, "Thanks again Hajime, I'll see you guys later. I promised to meet Sato for lunch." she said before leaving.
Hinata nodded at his classmate who left, "Are you going to be able to handle more of these desperate clubs?" he asked Ryuko.
"I have to, what else is… wait. I think I have a better idea." Ryuko said with a smirk.
A few minutes later
Ryuko pulled up a chair and placed down an sign that said "Fight Club" to signify her desire to initiate a club. Hinata and Mako had a vague idea of what this meant and their theories had nothing to do with gaining immunity from the attacks. Gamagori would confirm that right after he expresses his disproval towards this idea.
"A fight club? What is the meaning of this Matoi?" Gamagori asked.
"You can't read or something? I'm starting a club." Ryuko answered.
"But we're under budget." Hinata said.
Gamagori looked displeased as ever, "I refuse to condone such a club. Especially one established by a delinquent who openly mocks Lady Satsuki." he said.
Ryuko was about to retort when Satsuki made her presence known. Instead of her usual heel clicking noise, it was her bright flash. Which blinded everyone who gazes at her directly.
"I approve of this club!" Satsuki said.
"Lady Satsuki?" Gamagori asked with confusion in his voice.
"So the bitch was stand on her pedestal again." Ryuko said.
"I see no violation or rule that denies this power, but tell me this Matoi. Have you finally decided to conform to my perfect society?" Satsuki asked with a smirk.
Ryuko scoffed, "I'm going to destroy your perfect society from within." she said, blatantly admitting to wanting to harm Satsuki's plans.
Satsuki didn't look angry or offended, "Very well, I will still approve and sanction your little club." she said before walking away.
"I hate that smug preppy bitch." Ryuko said.
"What exactly does this plan entail?" Hinata asked.
Before Ryuko could explain herself, Gamagori's Discipline Committee had arrived. Where they gave Gamagori the individual documents that he needed to hand to Ryuko. They gave her a complimentary table where Gamagori dropped the documents which transformed into a giant stack.
"Seeing as how Lady Satsuki has given you her approval, I have no choice but to begin the process." Gamagori said.
"I guess that makes sense." Hinata said.
"Indeed it does, what Lady Satsuki says rules above all else. With that, Matoi must fill out the proper documents and attend the morning meetings of the club presidents. Which begin much more early so that the students can attend class on time." Gamagori explained before going deeper with the details.
Details that made Ryuko very uncomfortable because she would be forced into the long boring bureaucracy of the academy. Ryuko slowly turned towards Hinata who already ran away as he could tell what his sister was plotting. So she turned to Mako who stayed around.
"Actually, Mako here is going to be the president." Ryuko suddenly said.
"What!?" Mako asked.
"Very well, Mankanshoku will fill out the documents and attend the meetings. Have these finished before the end of the day." Gamagori said before excusing himself.
"Ryuko, why did you dump this job onto me!?" Mako asked.
"Think of it as a promotion Mako. You're my close friend after all, also you're more brave that Hajime." Ryuko said as she glared at the empty space where once Hinata stood. "A dependable friend who is a COWARD!" she shouted.
A while later, after class
Mako broke down into tears, "I don't wanna be president!" she whined.
Chisa sweat dropped as she tried calming her newest student, "Mako, try to look at the upside. Surely, this will increase your popularity and reduce your harassment." she said.
"But I don't care about that!" Mako continued to complain.
Chisa sighed, "Have you tried talking Ryuko out of this?" she asked.
"There's no use." Mako said before they heard a loud noise coming from outside.
Chisa and Mako looked out the window to see Ryuko approaching the Folk Dancing Club.
"Maimu Okurahama, president of the Folk Dance Club! My name is Ryuko Matoi and I represent the Fight Club!" Ryuko announced as she slammed her sign board onto the ground. "I'm here to kick your ass and take your uniform!" she said with confidence.
"You can try, but the Folk Dance Club is just going to dance over your grave!" Maimu replied before blowing a whistle.
Chisa sweat dropped at her student's actions, "So, Ryuko wants to confront them directly?" she asked.
"Yup." Mako answered as they heard lots of music play.
This was followed by Ryuko being surrounded and repeatedly kicked. Before giving into rage and defeating them all in one blow.
"Sen-I-Soshitsu!" Ryuko shouts as she adds another fiber to her kamui.
Mako fell back into her seat, "It's going to be like this all day and everyday. What am I supposed to do Yukizome sensei?" she asked.
Chisa tried thinking, "Well, this could help motivate you in your studies." she said.
"I already study a lot." Mako whined.
"You can earn a Goku Uniform, that way you will face less discrimination." Chisa suggested.
"But I'll be stuck with a bunch of preppies." Mako whined again.
"Wait, I remember something else. You get lots of benefits from the uniform thanks to being a club president." Chisa said as she pulled out a pamphlet.
Mako went wide eyed as she read the pamphlet, "What!? I can live in a penthouse!?" she asked.
"Yes… wait, a penthouse!?" Chisa asked, also sounding surprised. 'I have a nice big apartment, but it's just clean in a slightly nicer part of town. You just need a uniform to live somewhere that fancy?' she wondered.
"I'll do it Yukizome sensei! I'll be the best club president I can be!" Mako said before running out the door.
Aikuro snorted as he saw the girl run, "You really have a knack for motivation." he said.
Chisa sighed, "Yeah… where's my penthouse?" she asked with a sad look.
"You could save up for one." Aikuro suggested.
On a teacher's salary, ha!
The next day
Hinata was finishing unloading the belongings of the Mankanshoku family from his family. He was quite surprised to see that they were moving, to a penthouse no less. Who knew that Ryuko could grant benefits from beating up every student who came after her?
"And that's all I think." Hinata said.
"Thanks Hajime, you're a good boy!" Barazo said as he slapped a hand onto Hinata' back. "Just remember, my back alley is still open in case you need the medical help. The drive is still worth it." He said.
Hinata nodded, "Sure, I'll come to you first." he said, though the drive up here would take a while.
"We might not be living next to each other anymore, but don't be a stranger. You're free to visit us any time, Hajme." Sukuyo said.
"Thanks ma'am." Hinata said as he carried in the last box. "So that's it then." he said.
"Hey, why do you sound all sad? We're not going to stop seeing each other anymore." Ryuko said.
"I know, but I think you might be more busy with all of your fighting." Hinata said.
"It's a fight club, one you abandoned by the way. I'm still holding you up on that." Ryuko said.
Hinata ignored that last statement, "Whatever, just try not to overdo it. There's still a lot of people who want to fight you." he said.
"I'll be fine, you should be worried about feeling lonely without your big sis nearby." Ryuko replied in a snarky tone.
Hinata sighed, "I'm the older sibling." he said.
"Hm, nope that's not how it worked the last time I checked." Ryuko said in denial.
"Where did you check?" Hinata asked.
"Hajime, you're staying for dinner right? It would be late at night by the time you return home after all." Sukuyo said.
"Sure, thank you for the invitation." Hinata said.
"You are very welcome, today is a special night. Because I've cooked up ingredients using pork and beef." Sukuyo said.
Mataro and Guts quickly ran towards their new kitchen, "No way! We know where the meat comes from?" he asked.
Normally, while Sukuyo is a good cook, the poor financial status of the Mankanshoku left her with little possibilities at the supermarket. Often forcing her to purchase mystery meat for a reasonable price. Sure it was good when she made it, but now the family would dine like royalty and be filled with more nutrients.
The good food and nice place didn't matter to Ryuko or Hinata, what really mattered was the warm family time they spent with the Mankanshoku family. Especially with recent events changing how the siblings see the world. The same could be said for the peeping toms who were watching the family dinner with a drone.
With the Warriors of Hope
Kotoko stomped her foot on the floor, "Even when they're rich, they know how to act like a family. How come we didn't get anything like that?" she asked as she felt jealous of Mako.
"Maybe it's because they get to share the pain." Jataro suggested.
"Shut up Jataro, what do you know? How do you even eat with that mask? Do you take it off when no one looks or do you use a straw?" Kotoko angrily asked before finding herself thinking. "Actually, does that mean you always carry around a straw or do you starve yourself until you find a space to eat by yourself?" she asked.
"Oh that? I can eat through the mask, but it's not as comfortable. Actually, I've always eaten with you…" Jataro was cut off by Monaca.
"Monaca is impressed by such a big appetite. So much food in one go. Where does it all go?" Monaca curiously asked.
"After eating? The toilet." Jataro answered.
"She already knows that part!" Kotoko shouted.
"I didn't know what she meant!" Jataro replied.
"Do you think big sister Junko and Mukuro would think about eating with us like that family does?" Masaru asked.
"Both big sisters are very busy, so no." Monaca answered.
"Maybe we can call them…"
"Big sisters are both busy!" Monaca shouted angrily.
Masaru and the others recoiled, "Okay! We won't bother them!" he said.
Monaca smiled after calming down, "Good, we shouldn't bother them. They're super busy and hard at work with Auntie Ragyo." she said as she left the room.
Three days later, the former Mankanshoku Residence
Despite the family being gone and likely being too happy to leave their new luxurious house, not that anyone could blame them, Hinata was working on refurbishing the rundown lot. It wasn't as if he was hoping the family would come back despite him missing their presence. The boy thought it would make a good pet project and maybe help out anyone who is looking for some shelter in this part of the city.
"I think I can get this done in two weeks or so." Hinata said as he continued to work.
That's when he heard some foot steps and someone came to greet him.
"Hi Hajime." Chiaki called out.
"Oh hey Chiaki, what brings you all the way to the slums?" Hinata asked.
"I wanted to see how you were feeling after Ryuko moved." Chiaki answered as she approached him.
"I miss the noise and life that went on in this rundown house." Hinata admitted.
Chiaki placed a hand on his shoulder, "I think we already have enough of that with Ryuko constantly fighting everyone." she said.
"Not really, that much is the same. It's also easy to ignore with the government still sending people to kill us." Hinata said.
"I still don't understand how they always get away with that." Chiaki said.
"It's best not to question what any government does, Chiaki." Hinata replied as he put his tools down. "Maybe I should ask for a space at the dorm. I could use a roommate and no one wants to live here." he said.
Chiaki smiled over his shoulder, "Would you like me to move in with you?" she asked.
Hinata suddenly looked embarrassed, "Uh… what did you say?" he asked.
"Weakling." Fenrir muttered.
"I asked if you want me to move in with you." Chiaki said.
"She's baiting, literally shoving the bait in your face." Fenrir said. "She wants you to take her!" he shouted.
'Stupid kamui!' Hinata thought.
"That or she's messing with you, which would be also out of character. Still, you're too wimpy to guess either way." Fenrir said with a snarl.
"What do you say?" Chiaki asked.
"That depends… what does the handbook say?" Hinata asked.
"What handbook?" Chiaki asked.
"The one that one of the girls in class gave to you." Hinata answered.
Chiaki blushed, "How did you know Saionji gave me a book? It was in private!" she said.
"I didn't." Hinata said.
Chiaki blushed as she realized that Hinata tricked her. She put on her visor and saw that Hinata's speech level has increased.
"I'm sorry, Saionji made me take this book to "spice" up our relationship." Chiaki said.
Hinata sighed, "I was wondering since it sounded out of character for you." he said.
Chiaki did read the book that Hiyoko forced into her hands. Which included a chapter about teasing a boy and making him feel flustered. Which Chiaki suddenly decided would be a good thing to try in case her boyfriend did feel sad without the Mankanshoku family.
"Still, at least I enjoy the company, but don't change please. I like you the way you are." Hinata said making Chiaki blush and smile. "Anyways, since you're here. Do you want to stay for dinner?" he asked.
Chiaki nodded, "Sure, it's going to be a long trip back to the dorm anyways." she said.
"I can drive you back, unless you want to stay the night." Hinata said, teasing her in return.
"It's not funny!" Chiaki replied as her cheeks reddened.
The next day
As usual, Kazuichi was hanging out with Hinata as they walked around the school. When they stopped and heard the sounds of warfare going on behind the steel doors of the gymnasium. Kazuichi immediately backed away while Hinata drew his Buster Sword to prepare for whatever was going on inside. Instead of a threat, he found an exhausted looking Ryuko.
The two boys looked inside and saw that Ryuko defeated a whole wave of clubs and their respective presidents. With Ryuko looking ragged and ready to break at any moment.
"Did you feel a bit too eager today?" Hinata asked with Ryuko growling in response.
"It was just a question! Don't get mad!" Kazuichi yelled fearfully.
"It's not me! Mako has been managing all of my fights now!" Ryuko shouted.
"What? How did this happen?" Hinata asked, sounding surprised.
Ryuko sighed as she explained, "I think it started once Mako realized she can get a lot more than a nice house and good food. Trust me, I loved the old dump of a house but nothing beats indoor showers and food with nutrients." she began to say.
"Was your old house that bad?" Kazuichi asked.
Ryuko ignored Kazuichi's concerns, "Basically, Mako decided to act more like my manager. While it did get me more fights, it didn't go as planned." he said. "So I did reduce the amount of jerks I need to beat, but I think Satsuki's surplus of slaves aren't changing their tune." she said.
"Yeah, those students are die hard fanboys and fangirls." Hinata said.
"They would only betray Satsuki if she was possessed or suddenly lost her way. That iron will of hers is some beacon or something." Kazuichi tried to explain.
"I can see that. Except my current problem is Mako is forcing me to do a lot of physical training and fight a lot more often than I could handle." Ryuko finished.
Hinata sighed, "What exactly brought the change again? I felt like you were bringing it up until Kazuichi interrupted." he asked.
"Sorry." Kazuichi said very sheepishly.
"Basically, Mako's family got a better standard of living so we live in a small mansion. Heck, they let the wealth go to their heads. We don't even have dinner anymore since everyone is busy partying and stuff." Ryuko said, sounding angry. "I don't want to sound spoiled, but it's not the same anymore. I'm happy for them, but it's feeling pointless." she said, sounding depressed.
"Have you thought about quitting?" Kazuichi asked.
"What? That would mean this club would be disbanded!" Ryuko replied.
"Kazuichi has a point, you wouldn't have to fight as often anymore. It kind of sounds like Mako might be overdoing things." Hinata said, agreeing with his friend.
"Yeah Ryuko, I can't really believe Mako treating you like a mule, but she is a bit absent minded. So maybe she can't understand what she's doing and got greedy." Kazuichi explained.
Ryuko lowered her head, "Maybe you guys are right, but the downside is that we would have to move out of that house. I really don't want to be the reason we're kicked back to the curve." he said.
Hinata surprised his sister with a hug, "Don't worry about it Ryuko, just tell Mako how you feel. Just remind her that you're a friend first and a soldier second." he said. "Besides, you can always live with me or I can build you a house." he said.
Ryuko smiled as she hugged her brother back, "Thanks Hajime, I gotta remind Mako of why we're doing this." she said. "Then again, this is my fault really so that's going to be awkward to admit." she said..
"Go get him dragon!" Kazuichi shouted.
"Dragon?" Ryuko asked.
"You have "Ryu" in your name, so you have the word dragon in you. So… dragon, what else is there to explain?" Kazuichi asked.
"Fine, it's an okay name." Ryuko said before leaving the gym.
"You humans are weak hearted. What that girl should have done is beat the crap out of Mako. Remind the girl of her loyalties." Fenrir said.
"I'm not saying that!" Hinata said.
"Saying what?" Kazuichi asked.
"She just needs to give that mushroom head with the big mouth a little discipline. Remind her who is the top dog and who is the bottom bitch." Fenrir explained.
"What are you? A pimp?" Hinata asked.
"Hajime, you're freaking me out." Kazuichi said, reminding Hinata that he can't hear Fenrir.
"And tell that pink haired dumbass to grow some balls. That's why that preppy princess with the badass background won't notice him." Fenrir said.
Hinata frowned, "Let's just go Kazuichi." he said.
The next day, the courtyard
Once again, Mako prepared another fight for Ryuko to be a part of. Awkwardly enough, Ryuko was deciding that now is the perfect time to quit the club. She was ready to get a scolding or some kind of negative reaction from Mako. Though Ryuko also expected Mako to likely grow tired before eventually returning to her classic dimwitted happy self.
"Well Ryuko, this is your next fight for the day." Mako said as she prepared to present the challenger.
"Actually Mako, I got a big announcement." Ryuko interrupted.
"Eh? What's so important?" Mako asked.
Ryuko took a deep breath and answered, "I'm quitting the club and leaving." she said as she tossed a letter of resignation at Mako's face.
Mako was silent but only for about three seconds, "What!? You can't quit!" she said, refusing this resignation.
"I can, it's not the same anymore Mako. Here I thought we were actually fighting back against Satsuki but all we did was get rich and it ruined this family." Ryuko explained.
"Ruined? My family is so much happier now!" Mako replied.
"Are they? Actually don't answer that." Ryuko said, knowing the Mankanshoku family is drunk off of wealth.
"I can't accept this! Without you, Fight Club is officially disbanded!" Mako shouted.
Then came Satsuki's bright flash, "Anyone is free to leave as they wish, Mankanshoku." she said from the top of the academy building. "However, the club itself does not necessarily have to end." she said.
"Lady Satsuki?" Mako asked while looking confused.
"After all, you have earned your status and place in Honnoji Academy. With that, you must claim your new uniform." Satsuki said as a wardrobe crashed right beside Mako.
"My uniform? This is for me?" Mako asked.
Satsuki smirked, "Who else would it be for? Although, there is one thing remaining." she said. "If you wish to keep your style of life, you will have to defeat Matoi." she said.
Ryuko became angry, "Of course, that's just like you. Using others to get what you want." she said, but Satsuki still didn't care about Ryuko's opinion.
"Save your strength, you're going to need it for your other opponent." Satsuki replied.
At that moment, Ryuko had already transformed into battle form as she was angered by Satsuki's manipulation. However, Satsuki would prove herself to be right as Mako let the status go to her head. Mako took the uniform out of the dresser and came out wearing a military style cap that some male Japanese students wear, along with a jacket that she wears like a cape and finally a pair of geta sandals.
All in all, the Two Star Goku Uniform depicted Mako as a stereotypical delinquent. For some reason, a giant wave of water exploded behind her as she introduced herself.
"Fight Club President, Mako Mankanshoku!" Mako shouted, introducing herself
"Someone failed the friendship test!" Kazuichi shouted.
'Maybe, but I'm not giving up on Mako.' Ryuko thought as Mako came running at her.
"Say your prayers Ryuko! I'm not giving up our new life!" Mako shouted as she tried to drop kick Ryuko.
With the fight initiated, Ryuko held back as she didn't want to injure her only friend. Sure Mako was tough and her motivation added to her strength, but she was still pretty sloppy despite being dangerous. Even now, Ryuko felt concern as she saw the rest of the Mankanshoku family arriving at the school in their brand new luxurious car.
"Mako stop, you family is here!" Ryuko shouted as Barazo pulled up on the side of the battlefield. "Stay back guys, Mako won't listen. She's too absorbed by all of the luxuries and crap!" she said, thinking they were on her side.
The Mankanshoku's ignored Ryuko and promptly took a seat with the One Star students. Where they proceeded to cheer for Mako's victory.
"Rip Ryuko apart!" Barazo shouted.
"What!?" Ryuko shouted.
"No hard feelings dear, we just enjoy our lifestyle far too much." Sukuyo said in her usual sweet tone.
"Yeah, you can't expect us to give up our new life. Really, we mean no hard feelings." Barazo said.
Guts barked in agreement.
"They also failed the friendship test!" Kazuichi shouted.
"Not helping!" Ryuko shouted back.
As Ryuko was distracted by the betrayal and Kazuichi's sudden screaming about friendship tests. Mako took advantage of this and wrapped a chain around Ryuko's body. Where she proceeded to throw Ryuko around in the air before repeatedly slamming her against the hard ground. While Satsuki openly spoke about how much pride she feels in Mako's naivety.
"This is how my society works! Once you are mesmerized by the promise of a wealthy life! You are immediately enslaved by the society!" Satsuko announced.
'Okay, first chance I get. I'm breaking that bitch's teeth.' Ryuko thought as she hit the ground again.
With Ryuko exposed again, Mako raised up a baseball bat covered in nails and somehow fired a rocket from it. Ironically, the rocket was designed to look like Mako for whatever reason. When the smoke from the explosion cleared up, Mako prepared to attack again when her kick was blocked by a guitar.
"What was that?" Mako asked as Ibuki and Hinata appeared.
"We're the Half Time show!" Ibuki announced.
Satsuki did not look entertained, "I do not remember approving this!" she shouted.
Inumuta suddenly came up beside her, "Actually, it's somehow fit into the schedule. I'm not sure, but this is a part of the show, Lady Satsuki." he said while showing the schedule on his computer. "I assume Mako Mankanshoku meant for this to take place as a sign of celebration for Matoi's potential victory." he explained.
Satsuki narrowed her eyes, "Double check your software and have me notified earlier of rock band concerts." She said.
"Yes Lady Satsuki." Inumuta said.
Deep down, Inumuta felt that this was a strange and sudden change. Satsuki knew very well that Inumuta could never be hacked or attacked in any way by someone else's computer. Yet, it made her suspicious as to how there's a small rock-band concert being performed now of all times. Inumuta himself could tell that this was unnatural but did not want to infuriate Satsuki as he was now working to find the culprit of this cyber attack.
In the stands
Chihiro wiped away some sweat from his forehead, "There, the schedule is changed, but why did Hajime-san want to perform?" he asked.
"Don't worry about it, Hajime has a plan of some kind that I have no details on." Kazuichi said as he turned on the some music speakers from a distance.
"Lady Satsuki is okay with this, right?" Chihiro asked.
"Totally." Kazuichi lied. 'I'm gonna die if this plan fails.' he thought.
Meanwhile Nekomaru was helping Ryuko sit down as he tried motivating her.
"You got this, round one was dirty and it felt unfair, but there is no such thing as fair!" Nekomaru said as Teruteru walked up to them with food. "Now eat up! You need the protein! If you eat well! You fight well! Then you shit well!" he shouted as Ryuko was force fed.
"I didn't need to hear that last part." Ryuko said.
"It doesn't matter! Now eat and if you need to shit, go shit! We got a portable toilet ready for you!" Nekumaru said as he pointed at a conveniently placed portable toilet.
"I'm fine! Just let me breath!" Ryuko said as she pushed everyone away. "Also, what is Hajime singing?" She asked.
Your eyes staring into my eyes!
Who am I, but a guy, with two eyes on the prize?
And the prize n my eyes is 10 times
The surprise in your eyes as I kiss you goodnight
Teruteru chose to answer, "He wrote it in a rush just ten minutes ago." he said.
"He was probably thinking of Nanami." Hiyoko said in a teasing voice.
Chiaki blushed as she chose to hide her face behind her hood. Though that wasn't the reason for Hinata's decision to have everyone prepare for this half time show. Chiaki couldn't help but feel embarrassed by the accusation as she knew the truth. Which she would share with Ryuko by discreetly giving her a note that Hajime read during the rush to write a song.
The note was simple, but Ryuko didn't like it considering that she still sees Mako as her friend. Though, it did have some merits that she agreed with.
"Fine Hajime, if that's how you want me to play it." Ryuko said as she stood up again.
Back on the field
"Thank you Honnoji! We'll be here for two more years! Unless we get expelled that is, haha!" Ibuki announced as they finished the song.
As the band packed up and left, Hinata nodded to Ryuko as he hoped that she understood his message. Ryuko did understand but didn't like it since she really wanted to try and talk things out. It wasn't her style, but Ryuko really didn't want to hurt Mako since she had her doubts that Mako would win a serious fight with Ryuko.
However, as Ryuko arrived on the battlefield, she didn't have Senketsu set to battle mode. Mako saw this as a sign of weakness as she jumped down and caused a crater to appear under her feet.
"I'm not holding back Ryuko! Don't think I'll feel pity!" Mako shouted as she tried punching Ryuko.
Ryuko dodged the first hit and ducked under a sideways kick. As Mako attempted to head butt Ryuko, she ended up falling onto the ground. As Mako quickly recovered, she saw Ryuko tape a mirror to her face. At that moment, Mako would lose but not the fight. She would lose a friend and one person would have to beat that truth into her hollow head.
For Mako wasn't prepared for Mako to raise her hands over her head as a spotlight appeared over her.
"Eh? Don't tell me you're gonna…"
Hallelujah!
Mako was confused and silent until she saw her own reflection. However, what made the reflection unique is how it was glaring at her. Mako only remembered making that face when she was really disappointed like when Mataro skips school or when she sees someone waste leftover food scarps.
Mako shook her head as she raised her fist at Ryuko, "That's not gonna work Ryuko!" she said before Ryuko slapped her.
The slap had enough force to make Mako go spinning for a few seconds. When she was done, she saw another Mako standing in front of her. For some reason, the other Mako was very overweight, but she didn't question her doppelganger's appearance.
"You are the fake Mako!" the overweight Mako said.
"Eh?" Mako asked.
Hallelujah!
The overweight Mako started making silly poses like the normal Mako does, "You aren't the real Mako! The real Mako is a true friend of Ryuko so even if you break every bone, cut her entire flesh and even cut out her organs and sell them on the Black Market! You will always lose becaue Ryuko has the true power of friendship!" she said.
Mako started stumbling back, "But… but my family's lifestyle! I can't abandon it! We're so happy and respected!" she said.
The overweight Mako looked unconvinced, "What family? You guys all waste away with dumb things like alcohol and chocolate and whatever dad was doing with those women! You guys don't even eat at the same table anymore! You call that a family!?" she asked, stunning Mako. "It's not a family, pleasant things like indoor plumbing and food worth more than 500 yen is a luxury! But the loss of a friend and your identity… that's something no amount of money can ever replace!" She said.
Mako collapsed to your knees, "Oh my gosh. You're right, you're really right!" she said. "Look at me! I've been corrupted to the point that I lost weight!" she said, thinking she's naturally fat.
"Actually Mako, you were never…" Ryuko was interrupted by Mako's crying.
"I'm sorry so Ryuko!" Mako shouted as she tore up her uniform and hugged Ryuko.
The rest of the Mankanshoku family also felt inspired by the overweight Mako's speech. Prompting them to tear up their fancy clothes (along with Sukuyo's wig) as they ran to apologize to Ryuko for neglecting her as well as motivating Mako to beat her up.
"We're sorry to Ryuko!" they shouted as they hugged her as well.
Ryuko blushed, "What? Yeah! You guys were real jerks!" she shouted angrily.
As the family reconciled with Mako's best friend. Satsuki's eye twitched as she saw these naked people break away from her ideal society. As if a long winded speech about being poor and happy was enough to shatter the chains that bound them to Satsuki.
"No matter, this still helped me." Satsuki whispered to herself. "At least now, the weakest clubs have been picked out. Now I know who is capable of standing with me." she said as she turn and left.
Leaving Ryuko feeling satisfied, "I guess Satsuki is so angry, she doesn't have anything to say." she said.
Then Mako hugged her fat doppelgänger, "Thank you other me! I promise to be a better friend to Ryuko and gain all of that weight again!" she said.
"I'm glad to hear that, though you weren't fat in the first place." Overweight Mako said.
"What do you mean?" Mako asked.
"Uh… the mirror adds 10 kilograms." Overweight Mako said before running away.
Unknown to Mako and her family, that was the Ultimate Impostor who originally impersonated Ryota. However, he wasn't able to copy Mako entirely due to feeling discomfort in stomach area with the Goku Uniform. Which Shiro had modified so that the impostor could duplicate someone's physical appearance without error.
"Let's just go home." Ryuko said.
The next day
After a long day of moving out of the fancy house and back to the rundown old home of the Mankanshoku family. Things went back to normal, though they parents were surprised to see the renovations that Hinata began to work on. Preferably, a good running shower and a toilet thanks to the many talents that were shoved into him.
So the next day continued as normal.
Okay, that's a contradiction.
Now it's a truth.
(A/N: Satsuki's words are powerful and create some deep meaning as the story progresses, but creates confusion for the writer to progress in his story telling.)
It really depends on the individual on how they choose to describe the average school day in Honnoji Academy. Regardless, Satsuki made an outrageous proclamation.
Everyone had an entire week to survive a series of fights all over Honno City and earn Goku Uniforms. Really, it was just another attempt at Satsuki reducing her numbers by getting rid of the weak. Despite this mindset having some weaknesses as well as some merits, Satsuki believes she is increasing the strength of her forces by encouraging the strong to rise above all. However, that would have to be something Ryuko and the others would have to worry about another time.
The real concern is Satsuki's other proclamation. As Hinata had been focusing on protecting his classmates from the government who sided with the remnants of Future Foundation. Satsuki decided to put out a bounty for catching and/or exterminating these individuals. Apparently, Satsuki discovered that some of them have tried enhancing themselves with Life Fibers. How they obtained these materials is a mystery and she was going to want to find out by using every resource available to her.
For now, Ryuko's group would be focusing on her goal. Which is to find answers.
Matoi Residence
In the basement, Ryuko and a few others attempted to seek out clues about Isshin's death. However, it seems to be an impossible feat with the giant mess they had to work with.
"Nothing here." Mako said.
Hinata sighed, "Ryuko, was our father a slob?" he asked.
"Eh, to be honest, dad was pretty seclusive about his job. Also, he wasn't the picture of health before he died." Ryuko said.
"How bad?" Hinata asked.
"Hunchback, long beard, and he had an eyepatch but I just want to think that he wears it to look cool." Ryuko said as she pulled out a photo.
Hinata sweat dropped, "I heard of getting hit by the ugly stick, but he got hit by the ugly truck." he said.
"Lucky for us, we probably look like our mom or maybe an aunt or uncle." Ryuko said, remembering her father is a ginger.
"I give up!" Kazuichi shouted in the distance. "My vacuum inventions can't work with this junk!" he shouted as one of his inventions exploded.
Then Sonia popped out from the trash, "Kazuichi, dirty tasks require dirty motivation! No wait, that is a bad way to explain this." she said.
"Yeah Kazuichi, where's the spirit? I'd help you if your parents were dead and they left some mystery behind." Hinata said.
"My parents are alive and living in an accommodated apartment. Though I wouldn't mind the help if they did leave a treasure behind or something." Kazuichi replied.
"No clues here either!" Mako shouted as she popped out from another spot.
"I'm afraid there's nothing here, Ryuko-san." Peko said.
Ryuko groaned, "Damn it, I guess Senketsu is the last secret of this place." she said.
"Ryuko-san, if your father created your strange uniform along with Hajime's. Did he create Lady Satsuki's as well?" Sonia curiously sked.
"I really don't know, it's the same concept. As far as I know, the style is stolen." Ryuko said, thinking someone in REVOCs took the schematics from Isshin.
"I see, this is interesting." Sonia said.
Then a voice came from above, "Hey! You all done yet?"
Ryuko sighed, "Pretty much, we found nothing." she answered.
"Wait in the van Fuyuhiko, we'll be up there in a minute." Hinata said.
"You better hurry, I really hate this stinking neighborhood." Fuyuhiko said from above on the surface.
A little while later
The group went back on the road with Ryuko leading the van from the front on her scooter. Ryuko was telling Mako, who sat behind her, about her dad. Whereas Hinata was speaking with the group that he invited on this hunt.
"Sorry for the fruitless adventure guys." Hinata said.
"Meh, it's not like I had anything else to do." Kazuichi said.
"It did feel like a waste in my opinion, but I guess that's one debt repaid." Fuyuhiko said, referring to the simulation he was trapped in.
"I feel as though Nanami should have been here." Peko said.
"Where is Chiaki?" Sonia asked.
"I asked if she wanted to come, but said something came up." Hinata answered.
"Perhaps a brand new video game came out?" Sonia asked.
"That's what I asked, I said I was cool with it. Except she claimed it wasn't and left after she apologized." Hinata explained.
Fuyuhiko raised a brow, "Must be really important then, you know she's been pretty busy lately." he said suspiciously.
"She's our representative, maybe she's got some meetings or something." Kazuichi suggested.
"Probably, I hope she's fine." Hinata said.
"I'm very sure Nanami is okay, otherwise she would let us if anything wrong came about her." Sonia said optimistically.
That's when things went bad.
"Damn, stupid engine is giving up on me." Hinata said.
Kazuichi shook his head as he got out, "We got a spare battery in the compartment. We can use that if we can't get a jump start." he said.
As Hinata got out as well, they noticed Ryuko suddenly stop. Apparently, her scooter ran out of gas and couldn't go on any farther.
"This is a pain." Ryuko commented.
About 20 minutes passed as the boys got to work on getting the van started. On the other hand, Peko helped the girls load the scooter into the back of the van. Since there was room, they could sit in the back with everyone else and drive to the gas station once the battery was started up or changed.
However, life preferred to make some interesting turns. For the President of the Disciplinary committee had drove by and stopped when he saw them.
"Is something the matter?" Gamagori asked.
"Shit, it's this guy." Ryuko muttered.
"Nothing wrong here, just technical difficulties." Mako said innocently.
Gamagori looked at the front of the van with a raised eyebrow, "Do you need a jumpstart?" he asked.
At the gas station a while later
Despite being on different sides, Gamagori is still a high ranking member of the student government of Honnoji Academy. Meaning with this week being full of warfare all around the city, Gamagori saw no reason to engage in a fight with Ryuko unlike Sanageyama who always welcomes a fight.
"And here I expected lots of destruction and fighting." Kazuichi said with a chuckle.
"You can still expect one, Soda. Only after the week ends." Gamagori said as a reminder, making Kazuichi nervous.
"Then we should be thankful for neutrality and reasonable people." Hinata said happily.
Suddenly, the world decided to spit on everyone. Because a wave of cars pulled up in front of the gas station. Gamagori glared at the wave as he recognized their leader who looked like he transformed into a car. Not like a Transformer, everything below his neck is a functioning car.
"Look what we have here, Ira Gamagori and Ryuko Matoi sharing the same gas station. All buddy buddy from the looks of things." the car man said.
"Who the hell are you?" Ryuko asked.
"I'm Ryosuke Todoroke, President of the Automative Airsoft Club!" Ryosuke announced.
"Those are two separate clubs. What do you think you are doing Todorok?" Gamagori asked.
Ryosuke smirked, "Easy, I'm guaranteeing a win at the First Natural Elections. Show them how strong we are boys." he said to his combined clubs.
The Airsoft and Automative clubs prepared their weapons and tools for the incoming battle. Most of them unaware of the immmense difficulty they would face knowing there are two kamui users and a Three Star Goku Uniform user who is also a member of Satsuki's Four Divas.
"Stand back, I can handle this by myself. This is why I'm the head of the Disciplinary Committee." Gamagori said as he transformed into his Three Star Goku Uniform. "For I am Lady Satsuki's Impenatrable Shield. Shackle Regalia!" He shouted as his uniform entered it's battle mode.
TO BE CONTINUED…
Omake - Satsuki Broke Her Own Rules!?
Just as Mako prepared to drop kick Ryuko, Gamagori suddenly appeared and blocked the attack. Before Mako could recover, Gamagori ripped off the Goku Uniform and threw Mako away.
"What the? You saved me?" Ryuko asked.
"OF COURSE NOT! WHY WOULD I SAVE A DELINQUENT SUCH AS YOURSELF!?" Gamagori roared.
"Geez, I was just asking." Ryuko replied as she felt deaf in one ear.
Gamagori calmed down a bit, "I'm stopping this fight, for it is against regulations set by Lady Satsuki herself!" he said.
Satsuki did not like this interruption, "Gamagori! How dare you interrupt a fight that I have approved of!?" she asked angrily.
Gamagori sighed, "I'm sorry Lady Satsuki, but as the president of the Disciplinary Committee, it is my sword duty to uphold your laws and regulations. However, you have approved a fight that you yourself have marked as illegal." he said.
"What rule do you speak of?" Satsuki asked.
"Section 6, paragraph 4, A club cannot be dignified as such without a minimal of three members: president, vice president and one member of any rank. However, the minimal may be reduced to two if the president can handle independent actions that would require two but still require at least one member." he explained.
Mako suddenly stood up, "But Ryuko just quit, doesn't she have to give two weeks notice or something?" she asked, thinking the quitting wasn't official yet.
"Civil war is not allowed, also paragraph 7 states: While battle between the club president and a none club member is allowed with Lady Satsuki's approval. Two Star Goku Uniforms are allowed in battle, so long as the wearer is still in power. Otherwise, the impersonator or filthy pig (thief) must be apprehended and punished accordingly should they not cease their combat." Gamagori continued.
"Then I will overlook these rules just this once." Satsuki said, receiving loud gasps in return.
Satsuki was about to ask about the concerns when she suddenly made a face that no one had ever seen. Fear!
"What was that? You wish to ignore my rules?" a second Satsuki asked from the first Satsuki.
"What is this?" the first Satsuki asked.
The second Satsuki proceeded to grip the first Satsuki by her head, "How dare you violate your own rules for the sake of pleasure!?" she asked.
"But.. Matoi…" the first Satsuki croaked.
"I may not like Matoi, I may loathe her and her desire to destroy my dream, but there is nothing and I mean nothing if I cannot uphold my own society!" the second Satsuki roared as she crushed her doppelganger's head.
"What the heck is that? Was the first Satsuki a fake?" Ryuko asked.
"Of course no, Lady Satsuki has three rules." Gamagori said as he presented a sign to Ryuko.
Laws of Satsuki
1. Even if the object of interest is above her head, Lady Satsuki will still look down on it.
2. If Satsuki loses her way, another Satsuki will spawn and destroy the first one for being weak willed.
3. Satsuki will turn anyone who double dips at parties into avocado sauce.
Ryuko sweat dropped, "Okay, the avocado one has to be fake." she said.
"Regardless of your beliefs Matoi, my corrupted half is in the wrong." Satsuki admitted. "Mako Mankanshoku, you have three days to find club members otherwise Fight Club is disbanded!" she said.
Mako panicked, "Oh my gosh! Someone please join my club!' she pleaded.
Unfortunately, no one wanted to join Fight Club. Thus, everything went back to normal.
End of Omake
