"How about two long runaways down each side, that way I can keep the main guns?" Vengeance asked.

"I have to keep in mind that you aren't a carrier class by nature. Forgive me for saying, but the combination of your lack of processing power, and the size of that vessel... you'd be a sitting duck no matter how many guns we strap to that thing. And it wouldn't matter anyway if you couldn't use them all effectively." Isaac said.

"Well... what about that one based off the ship outside, you call it the Iowa." Vengeance asked.

"Once again, it would work better because it wouldn't bee too much of a stretch for you to use as a battleship, but the fact that there is only one elevator for both flight decks? You'll cut your effectiveness in half, given your real estate." Isaac said.

"That makes sense. Only one elevator would make it difficult to launch full squadrons quickly." Vengeance said.

"How about the one with the X on the back? Two elevators fixes the issue with the lack of speed in putting out aircraft." Vengeance said.

"Yeah, I was thinking that too, but then I thought about how back heavy that would be, and even with your short takeoff capabilities, you'd practically have to hover your craft just to land. And In the middle of active combat, that would not be easy or feasible for a single mind to handle. Once again, potential processing speed could ruin you with that design." Isaac said.

"Well... then I think I like this. It fixes the issues brought up by the other designs." Vengeance said as Isaac looked up from the mass of paper they had created over the past few hours.

"So you're gonna go with the angled flight deck at the cost of 2 turrets?" Isaac asked.

"Well, as you have drawn it, and the reduction of AA guns, It is a little less firepower than I would like. But I still have the knowledge of munitions to use for the aircraft. So it is a necessary evil." Vengeance said.

"Alright then." Isaac said as he looked at the clock.

"Even using the A-150 as our base, this took us all the way til 10pm." Isaac said as he stood and stretched.

"You humans. I often wondered why we spent so much time testing you as opposed to just studying you. Your seemingly incessant obsession with time. You don't have anything wrong with you, so why are you worried about time?" Vengeance asked.

"I don't know how you siren girls work, but as a human, sleep and movement are necessary for proper body function." Isaac said as he slowly stood, allowing the blood to flow into his legs.

"Sleep? You don't look like you're going to sleep." Vengeance said.

"We have spent several hours drawing these preliminary designs. Now I need some rest to think it over. After all, there are always hidden problems when it comes to ship design. One of which is the lopsided nature of the ship. So I will have to take armor from the port side and re-allocate it to the starboard side to offset the weight of that flight deck. Another would be that we will have to reinforce the hull, I have a feeling that continuous fire of the main guns could crack or even break the hull." Isaac said.

"Ah. I see what you mean. Once again, your human mind manages to intrigue me." Vengeance said.

"It's only natural. I'm sure you'll learn more and more as we go on." Isaac said.

"Maybe. You're the only human, aside from Alice that I don't hate being around. So I don't know what that says about me." Vengeance said.

"Well... using me as the sample size might not be the best idea if you want a general idea of humanity." Isaac said.

"Why is that?" Vengeance asked.

"Well... I am relatively happy despite being at war. I married several of my ships. Oh and I consistently deal with girls that are the actual embodiment of the warships in my fleet, so that isn't exactly a normal, run of the mill human." Isaac said.

"You have a point there. But maybe that's what makes you more interesting than the humans that the others are lording over." Vengeance said.

"Maybe. Alright. I need to take the night and think this over before I begin designing this behemoth. I will also need to have you test your ability with the aircraft, but we can do that later." Isaac said.

"Go get some rest then, Isaac. I am going to go meet that Otto fellow you brought aboard. Something about him seems familiar." Vengeance said.

"Don't be late on my account. I'm gonna head to bed." Isaac said as he opened the door for Vengeance before walking through himself.

"Goodnight, Isaac." Vengeance said.

"Goodnight." Isaac replied as he headed for his quarters.

Isaac opened the door to his quarters.

"Kommandant~~" Odin's voice was heard the moment he shut the door.

"Odin? What are you do...ing...in... what?" Isaac asked as he looked at his vice commander and lover.

"What? Don't you like what I'm wearing?" Odin asked.

"I... is that what you normally wear?!" Isaac asked.

"Of course. It fits under my coat and my uniform. It makes sure everything stays put. Not like Texas or Friedrich." Odin said.

"It... wow." Isaac said as he looked her up and down.

Odin laid on the bed in an outfit that was a far reach from her usual attire, or so Isaac thought. Dark stockings graced her legs, held up by a black garter belt that served to only accentuate her tone yet supple abdomen. Tapered lingerie left nothing to the imagination when it came to covering the area between her thighs. The outfit, or lack of, was rounded out by a transparent bra nestled beneath a conservatively tied Corset and her officer's hat.

"What do you think, Kommandant? Does it look good?" Odin asked as she rolled off the bed, dropping her overcoat to the floor, unveiling her entire self to his gaze.

"That coat... hides a treasure unlike any other." Isaac said as his jaw hit the floor.

"Do... do you mean that?" Odin asked as she twirled her long white hair around her finger.

"I do... You look stunning." Isaac said.

"Good... that is good..." Odin said, trying to hide her awkwardness behind the bulk of her hair.

"Get undressed... idiot Isaac. It's embarrassing to be the only one like this." Odin said as Isaac felt her tug at the buttons on his jacket.

"You ask me that, but you try to undress me yourself?" Isaac said as he gently grasped her hands to keep her from fumbling with the buttons.

"You know I'm no good at this lovey dovey stuff... I have no tactics to help me win against you." Odin said softly.

"My dear Odin... love is not a fight you need to win. It is a feeling that you must explore." Isaac said as Odin managed to unbutton his jacket, baring his chest to her.

"I've seen it before... but being this close to you like this... I feel... weak." Odin said as she lightly placed her finger against his chest. Isaac took pleasant delight in a small shock the moment she touched him. Everywhere her finger went, the shock went.

"I've never seen you like this before. But now I'm kicking myself for not making a move sooner." Isaac said softly as he shrugged off his coat.

"I've been burning up since our first kiss." Odin said as she pulled him by his arm.

"You really surprised me that day... I didn't think you'd end up falling like this." Isaac said.

"Well... I think this may be the only time I am glad to disappoint you." Odin said as she untied her corset.

"I wouldn't call this a disappointment." Isaac said as his hand graced the small of her back, sending another small shock up his arm.

"Be careful, Herr... Isaac." Odin said as a bright red blush crossed her face.

"It's alright. I won't disappoint you either." Isaac whispered in her ear before pulling her into a deep kiss. The moment their lips met this time, it was as if sparks went off in his mind.

Odin refused to release him until she had well and truly taken her fill. Their shallow breathes filled the room as she looked ISaac in his eyes.

"Herr Isaac... I need you now." Odin said as her soft hands grasped at his chest, sending shocks throughout his body.

Isaac did not delay in disrobing further before Odin pushed him to the bed.

"The others always complained that you always worked them out to the point that they couldn't walk. I can at least put together why." Odin said as she straddled him and placed her hands on his chest.

"Can take the girl from the battle, but can't take the battle from the girl." Isaac said as a smile crossed his face. He placed his hands on her hips as her eyes met his.

"What happened to love isn't a fight, Herr Isaac?" Odin asked as her blush deepened.

"It isn't. But it's always fun to see who would win." Isaac said as Odin smiled beofre joining herself with him.

Norfolk sat at the steel desk, still toiling over the last bits of the list that she had compiled for Isaac.

"Isaac will have to be the one to make the final call... but I think this is the best possible way we can make this work." Norfolk said.

"Oh? No commander?" Nimi asked with a small smile.

Norfolk blushed softly.

"It just slipped... it seems easier to call him that." Norfolk said.

"I don't think he will mind." Nimi said as she walked over to Norfolk with Isa in her arms.

"What did you need?" Norfolk asked.

"It got a bit dark on my vessel. I was hoping to find company in Liebling, but I can't find him anywhere." Nimi said.

"Well, I know he's onboard... but why don't you stay with me?" Norfolk said, earning herself a smile from Nimi.

"I think I'd like that." Nimi said as Norfolk patted her lap for Nimi to sit.

"It's hard to imagine that you're a cruiser with a body like that..." Nimi said softly as she looked up at Norfolk.

"What do you mean?" Norfolk asked, blushing a bit.

"I mean... your body is almost like Scharnhorst. You could be mistaken for a battleship." Nimi said with a bashful smile.

"Aww... thank you." Norfolk said as she leaned back in the chair.

"It makes me feel good to sit right here. I feel like just being here is keeping those voices away." Nimi said.

"What voices, Nimi?" Norfolk asked as she sat up right away.

"The whispers... they say I shouldn't be here. They say i should have died that day. That I should have stayed dead." Nimi said as she gripped Isa tightly.

"Nimi..." Norfolk said as she picked up the receiver on the bridge.

"Bremerton. Please report to the Norfolk immediately." Norfolk said softly as she ran her hand through Nimi's hair as her soft sobs filled the bridge.
