Chapter three:

Wrath of an empire

Through the vast expanse of the universe, a lone figure navigated the star-studded cloak of the cosmos. Bardock, the proud Saiyan warrior, had just accomplished what many considered impossible: he had slain the icy tyrant, Frieza. Despite his victory, Bardock was not blind to the enormity of his newfound situation. He had incurred the wrath of an entire empire, and he knew every tool at their disposal would be employed to ensure his downfall.

Bardock, with his wife Gine, steered their spaceship towards a seemingly innocent planet, a vivid emerald swelling against the cosmos. Banna – an interstellar hub for all races and creatures. Here, he could hide in plain sight, amidst the unrestrained diversity while he built his power in anticipation of the inevitable retribution.

Upon landing, Bardock ventured into the busy markets of Banna. Each singular gaze felt like a dagger, and he needed to disguise himself. After hours of scouring through endless storefronts, he found a shop peddling battle gear. Bardock quickly acquired a set of non-descript armor and cloak, shielding his legendary Saiyan identity and absconding into the alien crowd.

As he navigated the alien populace, a roused clamor behind him yanked him out of his thoughts. It was a group of bounty hunters, fifteen rugged warriors, menacing and relentless. They had been dispatched by the remnants of Frieza's empire - their sole purpose, vengeance.

However, Bardock was an experienced fighter, having been baptized by a relentless cascade of battles and conflicts. His execution was relentless, his Saiyan blood surging with fervor. His fists tossed aside the hunters like rag dolls, their bullets and blades meeting only the cool Banna breeze. A spectacle of violence, raw power unfolded in the busy streets. One by one, Bardock brought all fifteen hunters to their knees, leaving behind blood-soaked cobblestones under the astonished eyes of those fortunate enough to live through the encounter.

Emerging victorious but visibly shaken, Bardock retreated towards the marketplace with a newfound urgency. His eyes quickly spotted a small vendor peddling laser-firearms. Bardock snatched up one such weapon, discreetly slipping it under his cloak. With this additional tool of protection in his possession, he made a hasty exit from the scene, leaving Banna and its startled inhabitants in his rearview.
With his ship leaving the atmospheric cocoon of Banna, Bardock understood the weight of his decision. He had waged war against an immense force and had very little time to steel himself for what was coming. In his quest for survival, he had to be swift, cunning, and ruthless, for there was no doubt more bounty hunters would follow. But for now, he had bought himself some time, he had a plan, and with Gine by his side, a flicker of was glad to have gotten what he came for and felt even better that Gine was still with him and knows he can't face the Frieza force and bounty hunters like this at a meer power level of a meer 10,00 like this forever, that's when he remembers what Tora told him a while back "Bardock,go to planet chaos when you get the time,I heard of this guy that went there, and when he came back his power level was off the charts",that was all Bardock needed to remember for him to set a course for planet chaos and begin his journey there.

In the aftermath of his battle with Frieza, Bardock had no illusions about the enmity he had drawn upon himself. He was now a marked man with the rebellion plainly written in the blood of the alien overlord. Frieza had been a being of potent, frightful power, and his demise would undoubtedly ripple through the galaxy. Yet, Bardock had no fear. He had slain the despot on the chaotic hellscape known as "Planet Chaos", a place where no sane life forms dared to tread. He was safe here, shrouded in the planet's bare desolation and hellish heat, hidden amidst the mayhem. With him was his wife, Gine, her timidity completely in contradiction with the vengeful capacity her Saiyan blood held.
Their spaceship, a shining contrast to the barren terrain around it, hissed open. Bardock beckoned Gine to step out into the furnace that the planet was. The desolate environment was weathering countless dead bodies and long-failed champions in its harshness. He noticed the momentary apprehension on her face, but reassured her. Love was an unfamiliar weapon that Bardock had never wielded before, but for Gine's sake, he was willing. Their lips met in a tender kiss, sealing a promise of safety.
That's when their quiet moment was disturbed. A monstrous creature, grotesque and formidable, burst through the hellish landscape. It appeared out of nowhere, the embodiment of the chaotic planet itself. With a vicious swipe, it tore into Gine's armor, scraping it apart, revealing her bare skin beneath. The sight of the creature mauling his wife was too much for Bardock, who threw himself at it in a feral rage. However, the beast was no ordinary foe. In the blind fury, Bardock found himself at the receiving end of its wrath.

The sight of Bardock defeated was like a switch going off inside Gine. Her normally timid demeanor shattered, she channeled her Saiyan wrath in a massive energy blast, a beacon of her fury. The creature whimpered, taken aback by this unexpected assault, and scampered away, leaving the battle-hardened Saiyans in its wake.

Gine's armor was all but destroyed, leaving bare skin and an undershirt stained with her blood. Despite the grim atmosphere, she was radiant, her strength shining just as brightly as Bardock's had in their prime. Together, in the midst of this desolation, they found a moment of solace. Words of love were exchanged, an unfamiliar balm in their world of eternal strife. As they nursed each other's wounds, applying bandages with a meticulousness that their warrior lives had never encouraged, the bond between them deepened. Love subtly intertwined with strength, making their partnership unbreakable, even amidst a universe notorious for breaking warriors. Together, they resolved to survive and thrive in their new refuge of chaos, a testament to the resilient nature of the Saiyan race. Their story was one of love, power, survival, and most importantly, of an incredible bond that would outlive the harsh world they inhabited.
