Chapter 9
Sofia : Arrival of New Royals and the Mysterious AC
In the kingdom of Gladiz, the adults are sitting toghter as Roland and Miranda are there as they are doing a major discussion about the Kids, Miranda's siblings and their kids completed an exit interview with Magma Institute. Rose look at Roland as she is curious about things at Royal Prep.
"Roland, is there any sort of requirements and protocol to enroll our kids to Royal Prep"? Rosa asks Roland as she is wondering about thing as Rodrigo, Rebecca, and Ernesto is wondering the same thing.
Miranda look at Rosa since her siblings will be Dukes and Duchesses. "Well, there are papers to fill out and sign at Royal Prep. Plus, I am sure that the fairies will be thrilled to have new princes and princesses to come to Royal Prep". Miranda said to them as Roland agrees about things.
Enrique looks at them as there is another things that need to be discussed about. "As much as your mom and I are still stuck in the arrange marriage situation and those divorce clauses that needs to be meet, I believe it is time that Rosa, Rodrigo and Rebecca, and Ernesto move out especially since Renee is out of the house". Enrique said to them as there is a lot that needs to be discussed.
Rodrigo nod in agreement as it is a huge topic to discuss about things. Ernesto look at them as he has a lot on his mind about particular person. "I agree, and plus I think that we should not say a word to Renee about where we move to in case she decides to come back". Ernesto said to them as the big elephant in the room needs to be talked about.
Rosa look at them as she agrees about it as there is a lot that need to be talked about. "Agree. Plus from what I have looked into the divorce clauses, apparently the Golden Gilded Cage and its twin are some sort of magical item. It might be possible that there is someone out there who knows what these items are and where it is located to be destroyed. However, if Renee knows about them, it could spell trouble for all of us". Rosa said to them as there is a problem.
Roland nods as he looks at Rosa as he can tell that she is concerned about it. "That is a problem to deal with. Rosa". Roland said to them as they talk about Renee some more. As they talk about the move in day at the castle, they know that Baileywick and Alice will need to make sure that the bedrooms are ready for them to move into. The group nods as they continue to discuss about the Gladiz mansion and the employees who work here as they will will soon be laid off from work due to the number of people who lives here.
Back at the castle, Miranda and Roland tells Alice and Baileywick to prepare the other bedrooms near them and the second floor. they even instruct them to get the kids to come down stairs. Alice and Baileywick nods as they understand as they get stared with it.
It is not long that the kids are coming into the living room as they sit down to talk about things. "Kids, your uncles and aunts and their kids will be moving into the castle". Roland said to the kids as he is making the announcement about it.
The kids are stunned as they learn about this as they are getting excited about it.
"Really, that is so cool. I will finally have another guy to hang out with". James said to them as he is excited about it.
Amber nod in agreement as she is going to hang out with her female cousins more often. Miranda nods as she look at them as there is another announcement about things. "Plus there royal ball will be next week while the anniversary ball of Sofia and Madeline will be the following week". Miranda said to them as there will be separate parties for them.
The kids are looking forwards to things as Madeline smirks as she will get a chance to stay up late. "That's great news mom". Madeline said to them as they learn that their aunts and uncles from Miranda's side of the family will becoming Dukes and Duchesses as well. The kids look at each other as they are wondering if Madeline will try to stay up late for the ball or not.
A few days later, Miranda Louis, Jasmine, and Thomas moves into the castle. with their parents as they are getting settling in. plus they filled out paper work to have the kids enrolled at Royal Prep to the fairs delight and talking with the school board. plus their horse are now here in the stable. Miranda Louise went over to Madeline as she has a question for her.
"Madeline, what is Royal Prep like? How is it different from the Magma Institute"? Miranda Louise asks Madeline as she is wondering about it.
Madeline look at Miranda Louise as she will explain things to her. "It is a great school filled with princes and princesses from various kingdoms. It is basically a school for royalty". Madeline said to Miranda Louise as she explains about it.
Miranda Louise look at Madeline as she is staring to understand about it as she thank her for it. "I understand now, and thank you for protecting me". Miranda Louise said to Madeline as she explains about it. "Plus I know you can't have cherry but I know of another cake that is similar to Black Forest Cherry Cake without the charry come we can talk to the chef". Miranda Louise said to Madeline as they went to the kitchen.
Miranda is curious about the talk as she follows the girls to the kitchen. Miranda nod as she look at the girls as they went to the kitchen. she look at one of the chefs.
"Excuse me, from my understanding, there is a cake that is similar to Black Forest cake that does not have any cherries in it". Miranda said to the chef as she wants to see it for herself.
Chef Andre look at them as he has been developing the recipe for days now as this is for Madeline in mind. "Yes, there is one that will be perfect for Madeline". Chef Andre said to Miranda as he present it to her.
As the chef explains it to them, Sofia walk in and notices the noon cherry cake for Madeline to have at the party. "Mom, this party is not for Madeline". Sofia said to Miranda as she is reminding her about the upcoming party is not for Madeline.
Miranda Louise look at Sofia as she frowns as she is is wondering what her problem is. "Sofia please stop, Thomas and Jasmine agrees with me already, and we agreed that Madeline shouldn't be excluded from it". Miranda Louise said to Sofia as she explains about the reasons for the cake.
Sofia look at them as she shake her head as it is not the point. "The point is that Madeline will not be at the party for long and besides it is your special night". Sofia said to Miranda Louise as she wants her to see her point about things.
Madeline frowns as she is going to to have the cake that Miranda Louise talked to her about.
Miranda look at them as she sighs as she dose see Sofia point. "Madeline, you can have your cake at your anniversary ball ok". Miranda said to Madeline as she is trying to give her the next best thing.
Madeline look at Miranda as she frowns as she dose not like this at all. "But mom, I wanted to try it please let me stay up for the ball tonight please". Madeline said to Miranda as she wants to stay up late.
Miranda look at Madeline as she shake her head to the girl as it is not going to happen. "Madeline, you are not old enough to be staying up late". Miranda said to Madeline as she says that she is not old enough to stay up late.
Madeline is stunned as she finds it really unfair about things. "But mom, it is not fair. Plus when can I get my hair cut and get my bedtime changed since it is the same time in the summer". Madeline said to Miranda as she wants to complain about it.
Miranda look at Madeline as she shake her head as she is not going to give her to her demands. "I said no Madeline. Plus, your hair is perfectly fine, and we will talk about changing your bed time when your birthday comes around again". Miranda said to Madeline as she explains about it.
Madeline look at Miranda as she frowns as she learns that she will have to wait about it. "Ok fine", Madeline said to Miranda as she does not like that. She gives a glare at Sofia for ruining things for her.
Miranda look at Madeline as she nod to her. she let Madeline to go play outside. she went back to the Kitchen as she look at the cake that will be perfect for Madeline at her party.
"Chef Andre, I want you to write the recipe for that cake you made for Madeline and name it. When that is done, I will hand it to Roland for royal approval". Miranda said to Chef Andre as she gives him instructions for it.
Chef Andre look at Miranda as he understands the orders that she give him."Ouie Queen Miranda", Chef Andre said to Miranda as he will get started with writing the recipe down.
Miranda nod as she look at Chef Andre as she leaven the Kitchen as she went to check on Roland. he is in his office working on questions for the group interview that will take place in the next couple of days. "Roland we have a small problem with Madeline now". Miranda said to Roland as she reveals to him about it.
Roland look at Miranda as this get his attention as he put down the note pad for the group interview tomorrow. "What kind of problem"? Roland asks Miranda as he is wondering about it.
Miranda look at Roland as she will reveal about it. "It is about haircuts and wanting a later bedtime for Madeline". Miranda said to Roland as she explains about it.
Roland sight as he look at Miranda as they do need to talk about it. "Well, we have talked about this and we wanted Madeline to wait until her's birthday to have a later bedtime. Plus, I don't like short hair on girls". Roland said to Miranda as he does not care for short hair on girls.
Miranda nod in agreement with Roland as they real firm. about the rules. "I agree with you about it. Plus, Chef Andre have a new recipe for Madeline he will show to you for the royal approval". Miranda said to Roland as she explains about it.
Roland look at Miranda as there is something to look forward to. as the two of them finish their talk, Miranda went to check on the decorations for the ball. It is perfect as Alice and Baileywick are making sure that it get done correctly.
Miranda smiles as she went to check up on her siblings and sister in law. in Rebecca' and Rodrigo's room, Miranda notices that Rebecca is grabbing a box out from the closet. she want to the vanity and open the box as it is a tiara as it is older and very well made.
"Oh that is a beautiful tiara Rebecca". Miranda said to Rebecca as she is wondering where it came from.
Rebecca look at Miranda as she thanks her for it. "Thanks Miranda, it actually belonged to my mom. I am planning to let Miranda Louise wear it tonight". Rebecca said to Miranda as she explains about the tiara.
Miranda look at Rebecca as it is a grand tiara and very fancy. "It is a great tiara for a party, but for Royal Prep, it will have to be a child tiara". Miranda said to Rebecca as she explains about it.
Rebecca look at Miranda as she dose have another one that once belonged to her mother. as she shows it to her, it is less grand then the fancy one. "Will this one be acceptable to wear at Royal Prep"? Rebecca asks Miranda as she is wondering about it.
Miranda look at Rebecca as she see that it is acceptable to wear to school. "Yes, that will do just fine Rebecca". Miranda said to Rebecca as she explains about it.
Rebecca nod as she look at Miranda as she has another question for her. "Thanks Miranda, when the kids were attending the Magma Institute School, Miranda Louise took honors classes that were meant for royalty. Will the fairies of Royal Prep will be impressed with the knowledge that Miranda Louise has"? Rebecca asks Miranda as she is wondering about it.
Miranda nod as she look at Rebecca as she smile to her. "Yes Royal Prep will be impressed with it Rebecca don't worry". Miranda said to Rebecca as they went over to the seamstress.
Rebecca nod as they head that way to the seamstress as Ernesto is looking at the various dresses He wanted to avid the color Pink since that's the color that his ex wife always forced Jammie to wear. as Madam Collette explains to Ernesto that Jasmine already beat him to things about the party, Ernesto sighs as he understands about it.
Ernesto look at Madam Collette as Rebecca come in the room as she also looking at dresses for Miranda Louise to wears to the party. "Excuse me Madam Collette, do you have any red dresses". Rebecca asks Madam Collette as she is thinking about the party for Miranda Louise.
Madam Collette look at Rebecca as she has some red dresses in the room. "A red dress for the party yes", Madam Collette as it is not long that Miranda Louise comes in as she smiles by the red dresses. As Miranda Louise sees a red dress with a gold floral design, she went to try it on. Miranda Louise went into the dressing room and to get changed into the dress for the party. As she comes out, she smiles as she loves the dress.
Madeline look at Miranda Louise as she is awe of her. "You look Tres bien Miranda Louise". Madeline said to Miranda Louise as it is not long that Sofia also comes in the room. Sofia gives her complaints to Miranda Louise about the dress.
Madeline nod as she uses this time to sneak off from the room to go see Grace. Miranda Louise nod as she changes back into her normal clothes. Sofia nod as she looks at them as she notice that Madeline is not in the room anymore.
"Umm mom, where did Madeline go"? Sofia asks Miranda as she is getting the feeling that she went off somewhere in the castle.
Miranda frowns as she realizes that a particular person is very close by to the royal seamstress. "I think I know where Madeline went off to". Miranda said to them as they need to get there.
In the royal hair dresser room, Madeline is sitting in the chair as Grace is not in the room as Madeline is holding a pair of scissors and about to cut her own hair. Sofia and Miranda see that Madeline is about to cut her own hair. "Madeline Gabriella Wilson, you will put the scissors down now". Miranda said to Madeline as she has caught her youngest daughter.
Madeline is stunned by this as she got caught by Miranda and Sofia. she put the scissor down as she frown by this. "But mom, I wanted to get my hair cut short. Plus, long hair may have worked in dad's time, but the times are changing please". Madeline said to them as she does not like that they have caught her.
Miranda look at Madeline as she shake her head as it is not the right time. "Madeline, your hair is fine the way it is". Miranda said to Madeline as she is not letting her to get a hair cut. "I want you to go outside and play for right now". Miranda said to Madeline as she wants her to go play.
Madeline sight as she leavens the room as she diose not get her way about things as Sofia is pleased about thing as they leaven the room.
A bit later, it is time for the ball to star as royalty from various kingdom including Enchancian are her. plus. the new Dukes and Duchess are making their grand entrances first followed by their newest young royals. joining their parents on the dance floor for the first dance.
Madeline is watching the party going on she is pleased that Hugo is here. "This is the best royal ball I ever saw. I mean we got new princesses, prince, duke and duchesses". Madeline said to Sofia as she is wanting to dance with Hugo during the party.
Sofia look at Madeline as she agrees about it. "Yeah plus, I am glad that they will not be returning to Magma Institute". Sofia said to Madeline as she is glad that her cousins will not be at that other school.
Madeline look at Sofia as she agrees about that one. "I agree with you on that one Sofia". Madeline said to Sofia as she is wondering who else that they can get out of that particular school.
A bit later after Madeline and Hugo had their one dance, Miranda sent Madeline to her room for her near attempt to cut her own hair Madeline sighs as it is was getting time for her to go to bed but she know that she has her ways to watch the ball without being seeing. after the ball was over, Madeline is in bed asleep as she is wondering who will come for the group interviews that will take place the very next day.
The next day, today is the day that the group interview for the new royal sorcerer is taking place. Roland is setting things up in the grand ball room. it is not long that seven different sorcerers and sorceress arrive as they have their own magical helper or pet with them. the kids are in awe as there was lizards, birds, a dog, and cat amongst them. the family is stunned by the cat that Ac has with him. as the interviews are getting stared. the kids are in awe of the various animals that they brought.
"Strange, we all know that dad is allergic to cats, but AC's cat has not made him sneeze once". Amber said to the others as they nod in agreement.
James nod as they even notice that the cat is well behaved and trained as it is sitting next to AC. "Yeah, it is like the cat is well behaved like it is trained". James said to them as he is curious about it.
Ac look at the kids as the cat named Ginger look at them as she is cool and calm like she is normally is. "My cat is named Ginger, and she is an Australian Spiritmus Cat. She is one of the most rarest domesticated cat breeds in the entire Ever Realm". AC said to them as he explains about it.
Ginger nod as she look at the group as she has very short hair like she has a peach color nary layer of her hair on her entire body and she has very curly and twisted whiskers and her tail long as well Howeven. she has all sort of old scars on her body and an old magical mark on her neck as well. "I am pleased to make your acquiesces kids". Ginger said to them as she is very protective of AC.
The kids are in awe by the unique cat as Amber smile to her as she like her. "You are very different for most cats". Amber said to Ginger as she is wondering more about her.
Ginger nod as she look at them as she great them as she like Amber and Madeline the most. she senses each person in the royal family as well as Baileywick and Alice she eventually went back to AC as she sense something very special about the kids and adult. AC is pleased with Ginger as it is time that she went back into her pet carrier.
Roland and Miranda are stunned and surprised by how well trained she is as the other sorceress watch as well. as the kids asked their question to them each one of the sorceress and sorceress answers their question honestly. Roland and Miranda look at look at each other as they need time to talk as they all left the room to let the interviewees talk among themselves however all of an sudden the kids over hear AC saying something to one of the the other candidate and he was not having any of it.
"You don't insult the chosen ones of the amulets of Avalor in front of me got it". AC said to the sorceress as it catches everyone off guard. The sorceress with the purple bird frowns like they left in a huff.
James is stunned by this as he is deeply confused about what just happend. "Umm, any idea what that was about"? James asks them as this even surprised Sofia and Madeline.
Sofia and Madeline look at at them as they shake their heads as this is new to them. "I have no idea James, but it is almost like AC is ready to defend us like it is a sense of duty". Sofia said to them as she has a lot of tough questions that she wants to ask him.
With the royal parents, Roland and Miranda are completely stunned by how AC defended and stood up for Sofia and Madeline like that even thought he dose not have the job
"I don't know about you King Roland, but AC was very mad when that sorceress was bad mouthing Princess Sofia and Princess Madeline like that. It is like he has that sense of duty and shown it prematurely". Baileywick said to Roland as he was taken aback by how his tone was when he retorted back towards the other sorceress.
Alice look at Baileywick as she can agree that it was abit prematurely on AC part. "That maybe true, but AC will be good for the kingdom". Alice said to them as she is wondering what that was about.
Roland nod in agreement as something that AC shocked him as Miranda is also deeply puzzled by the statement. "Yeah, but I am curious about his knowledge about the amulets themselves and why he referred Sofia and Madeline as the chosen ones of the amulets themselves. With Cornelius, he was very interested in the amulets while AC is not interested in them". Roland said to Alice and Baileywick as there is a layer of mystery in AC.
Miranda nod in agreement as they are making their decisions. as the royals are showing them around the castle grounds. Cordelia and her draught Calistia are visting Goodwyn and Winnifred immediately right away, Cordelia glares at AC. "So you finally showed your face around here AC". Cordelia said to AC as she smirks as she thinks she will get underneath his skin.
AC look at Cordelia as he rolls his eyes to her as he dose not let her words bother him. "I didn't realize that you would show up here today, Greystone". AC said to Cordelia as he is cool and calm as he doesn't let her get underneath his skin.
The kids are stunned as they see that AC and Cordelia know each other. "Wait a minute, you two know each other". Sofia said to them as she is wondering what the connection is between them.
Cordelia look at Sofia as she like her more then Madeline. "Why yes I do Princess Sofia, and it has been a long while since I last saw you. I didn't realize that the unwanted child turned adopted Garcia-Roberts will show his face here". Cordelia said to them as she is trying to get underneath AC's skin.
Madeline frown as she hears the word adopted as it was aimed at AC. "Knock it off Ms. Cord. Plus AC shouldn't listen to the likes of you". Madeline said to Cordelia as she does not like her at all.
Cordelia look at Madeline as she rolls her eyes at her. "It is Cordelia you still can't get my name right can you? It is a wonder that you and Sofia can't get a single spell right either like another certain person that I used to know". Cordelia said to them as she putting her down.
AC frown as he glares at Cordelia as she has gone too far. "Criticizing children again Cordelia Greystone, I see that you have never changed at all. I thought that you would have grown up by and lead by a better example for your daughter". AC said to Cordelia as he is referring to the young daughter that she has with her.
Cordelia is stunned as Calista look at her mother as the woman glares at AC. Madeline and Sofia are stunned to learn that AC and Cordelia know each other. "Wait how do you two know each other"? Sofia asks AC as she is seeing that there is another layer to the mystery of AC Garcia-Roberts.
AC look at Madeline and Sofia as he sighs as it is not exactly a kid friendly story. as the adults parted ways, they want back inside to the living room, to sit down "It all got started when I was a boy. I was recovering in the hospital from a near drowning in a river. I didn't know who she was because I gotten amnesia. However, when I got adopted by my second family, by the times that I saw Cordelia was at magical competitions. She and my adoptive sister were huge rivals and had a rivalry with each other, but it wasn't a friendly one". AC said to Madeline as he explains about it.
Madeline is stunned by this as she is a bit confused. "It wasn't a friendly rivalry between Cordelia and your adoptive sister". Madeline said to AC as Sofia is curious about it.
AC. look at Madeline as he shakes his head as he remember the times that Cordelia put him down. "No, it was so bad that Cordelia took things out on me. My adopted sister always stood up for me, and she will get really mad if Cordelia did anything to me. My adopted family always encouraged me and gave me positive reinforcement when it came to learning sorcery and wizardry. My adoptive parents explained to me that it is ok if you don't get it on the first try. Plus, striving for that perfection on the first try will add too much pressure is not good for a person or even a magical being". AC said to the kids as he explains about it.
Madeline and Sofia are stunned to learn the full story behind things as it is staring to make sense as the elder sister look at Madeline. "No wonder me and Miss Cord never gotten along that good. Plus every time she looked at me, she always so weird towards me like I remind her of someone". Madeline said to them as she is wondering what that is about .
AC nod as he look at Madeline as they want back inside. as the adult went to the living room. Roland look at AC. as they sit down while the kids went up stairs. "AC, may I ask you a question"? Roland asks AC as he is curious about something.
AC looks at Roland as he nod as he will let him ask the question. "Sure King Roland, what is on your mind"? AC ask Roland as he will listen to him.
Roland look at AC as he wants to get the question off his chest. "Why did you referred Sofia and Madeline as the chosen ones of the Amulets of Avalor? Do you know more about the amulets"? Roland asks AC as he is curious about it.
AC look at Roland as he nod as he has a feeling on what the question is about. "Yes, I do. However, they will have to wait until the time is right to find out the truth". AC said to Roland as he explains about it.
Roland nods as they return to the throne room where the interviews were taking place as the kids notice that AC has a wand and another magical item. "Umm excuse me, what is this"? James asks AC as he is holding it.
AC looks at the kids as he will explain it as it is something that they have not seen before. "That is actually a tambourita. It is what the wizards use in Avalor for their magical work. It is a two handed item because one hand is for the handle while the other hand is for the drum when you do a spell". AC said to them as he explains about it
Madeline is in awe of the tambourita as she see how it works. "So it is a two handed magical instrument for spell casting". Madeline said to AC as she is starting to understand about it.
AC nod as he look at the kids as he demonstrates on how a tambourita work as he uses a spell. "Yes that is exactly right". AC said to Madeline as the kids look at the tambourita as they are curious about it.
Everyone is in awe as they see magical images of butterflier daning in the room. Miranda is curious about it. "AC, who taught you how to use a tambourita exactly"? Miranda asks AC as she is wondering about it.
AC look at them as he will explain about his past to them. "It was my adoptive father. It was because of my second family that showed me what true encouragement looked like". AC said to them as a song is starting to play.
Sometimes when you learn a brand new thing
You expect to get it right on the very first try
But when you don't get it right on the that first try
It should not get you defeated like your back is against a corner
There are people that rather criticize and scrutinize someone over a failed spell done on the first try when they expect your perfection straight away.
But what they failed to realize that the harsh criticize and scrutinize will harm them emotionally and in the long run and term.
It is all about the encouragement and the positive reinforcement that will get you better
It is also about finding the right person that will be patient with you as well
When you have the proper teaching just like I have
You will turn things around and prove others wrong in your magical prowess
as the song ends, Roland look at them as he think back to when he was a kid and a certain hair potion incident and how his old childhood friend was criticized and scrutinized for messing things up and messing with the sorceress ball that wasn't his fault and got blamed for it. as the group interviews was drawing to a close Baileywick and Alice walk the potation sorcerers and sorceresses including AC out of the castle. Roland and Miranda went to talk in the living room while the kids went to go play.
"I wonder", Roland said to himself as he is thinking about the what ifs about the past.
Miranda look at Roland as she notices the expression on his face. "You wonder what exactly"? Miranda asks Roland as she is curious about it.
Roland look at Miranda as he sigh as he is thinking about things. "I wonder what if my old friend never run away and shown that he was innocent all along. Maybe things would have turned out differently you know". Roland said to Miranda as he explains about it.
Miranda look at Roland as she see that he is feeling down about what happend in the past. "Roland, it is not your fault about things that happened in the past. You shouldn't think about the what ifs". Miranda said to Roland as she knows that things could have been different.
Roland nod as he look at Miranda as he can agree with that. "I know it just if it is really my old friend, he must have gotten a lot stronger than he was a kid. Plus, I am curious what kind of things he went through when I was not there for him when it mattered most". Roland said to Miranda as he feels that he has let him down. Miranda agrees about things as she is wondering what kind of life he had with his second family.
with the kids, they are in the play room as Madeline is thinking about the encounter between Ac and Cordelia. plus Sofia is also thinking about how Roland was in deep thought about things as well.
"Is it just me or was there more to AC that meets the eyes"? Thomas asks them as he is the first to break the silence between them.
The other kids look at each other as they deeply agree about it. "It is not just you Thomas. I mean AC's outfit looked clean but rugged like he was sleeping outside and on the road". Amber said to them as she did notice that about him.
Jasmine look at them as she deeply agrees as there is one thing she noticed. "Yeah, plus his hair was all over the place. It is kind of long in the back and some of it is covering a part of his face". Jasmine said to them as she talks about his hair.
Madeline nod as the other kids notice that as well. "I noticed that too Jasmine. However, the thing that got me is how Ms. Cord and AC knew each other and the rivalry that she had with AC's adopted sister. I mean how did this rivalry got started though. Plus it seems like that the two didn't like each other at all like it is a feud of some sort". Madeline said to them as she explains about it.
The kids look at Madeline as James agrees about it as there is not a lot of people that knows about the rivalry. "You know maybe Jennifer knows about the rivalry between them and why it happened". James said to them as he brings up a good idea.
Sofia agrees with James about the issue as she is wondering the same things. "Yeah but maybe Jennifer doesn't know about it as it is an adult matter though". Sofia said to them as she is thinking that it is an adult matter that took place sometime ago. As they continue to talk about things,
Madeline is is deep thought about what the upcoming school year is going to be like as she know that Jennifer will be at Royal Prep. 'Will Jennifer try to get some answers about her dad at school.
The next day, it is the informational meeting at Royal Prep as the adult are going to the school as they are going to pick school list and among other things however, the parents has a lot of questions including about the dress code that suddenly switched between back and forth.
"Ms. Flora, will you explain to us about the dress code. Early in the summer, we got letters that the kids will be allowed to wear regular clothes and suddenly we got these letters stating that they will be wearing royal clothes"? King Gerrick asks Flora as the other parents nod in agreement.
The fairs look at the school dress code lettles as they frown as there is a mistake. "This can't be right. We made the change to allow students to wear regular clothes and gotten the full approval from the Superintendent of the Royal School Board". Fauna said to them as she shows all of the parents the letter of approval from Summer Prickly.
The fairs look at them as they are a bit confused about things. "Who told you or did you get some sort of letter stating about the previous dress code"? Merryweather asks them as she is wondering where this is coming from.
Roland look at them as he and the other parents show the proof. "Yes we did, and this letter has your names on it". Roland said to the fairies as he explains about it.
The fairs look at the letters that the parents show them. as the fairs double check it, it turn out that the signatures on them are fake. "These letters are fake. However, the one thing that we do require this year is gym clothes. The students has to wear a solid color shirt with athletic shorts or pants in gym class". Fauna said to them as she explains that the letters are fake and proving that they are fake.
The parents are stunned as they learn that the letters are fake all along. Roland and Miranda sighs in relief about things as they met with the school nurse as she is notified about the Epi-pen for Madeline and to have them on hand. after that, Miranda went to the shop as she went to get gym clothes, school supplies, and new outfit for the kids Rebecca and Rose went with her as they did some shopping as well. The kids are stunned as they see that they have gym clothes, Madeline is very pleased that she has athletic pants that cover her magical mark on her leg.
Howeven a few hour later, Roland reveals who the next new Royal sorcerer is it is AC who arrived at the castle. The Kids are pleased about things as they are glad it is Ac and not the other candidates. Baileywick and Alice bring Ac to the workshop as Sofia and Madeline went with him. The two Princesse notice that AC dose not have a lot of possessions with him. as they are wondering why that is. as they arrive at the workshop. AC nod as he is impressed by it as Alice show him to his room upstairs from the workshop AC place his things in his bedroom as he is grabbing out a pad and pen to write down what is here in the workshop. he notice things like a bird once reside here.
"Did the last sorcerer have a bird of some sort"? AC asks Sofia as they see the bird stand in the room.
Sofia look at AC as she nod as they are looking at it. "Yeah, you can throw the stand away if you like to AC. The last sorcerer never came back for it". Sofia said to AC as she explains about the bird stand.
AC look at the bird stand as he know that Ginger will want something to perch on. He let his cat out as she is exploring around in her new space. "I see". AC said to them as he grabs out his wand as his tambourita is upstairs in his room. As he uses a transformation spell, the bird stand transform into a cat tower/bed for Ginger.
Ginger look at the cat tower/bed as she take to it very well as she has a new place to perch on. "Now that is more like it". Ginger said to them as she has a place to relax now.
Sofia and Madeline nod as the red headed Princesse has an outfit that she brought up with her. "Oh AC, try on this outfit on please. I have a feeling you will love it". Madeline said to AC as she hands it to him.
AC nod as he look at the stand as he has something in mind for it. He notices the outfit that Madeline brought up. "Umm alright", AC said to Madeline as he went to the bedroom to try it on.
As he comes out in the new outfit, he looks at the two girls. "It looks great". AC said to them as he has a white shirt with black pants and a yellow ascot. He has a maroon color clock on top as well.
Sofia look at AC as she loves the outfit change on AC from before. "Now you look like a sorcerer who lives in a castle and not as rugged like with your hair". Sofia said to AC as she is wondering about it.
AC look at Sofia as he shrug to her as he dose not mind what she has said about things. "Well, I was a nomadic sorcerer for a long time going to new places helping those in need of a sorcerer. I have various stories about my travels. I even stopped a few bad guys here and there, so living in a castle is going to be a new adjustment". AC said to them as he explains about it.
Madeline is stunned as she is a bit surprise as she learns about why he look kind of rugged before. "You mean you traveled a lot before coming here AC. No wonder your clothes looked rugged from before". Madeline said to AC as it does have a small explanation about it.
Ginger nod as she dose love the new outfit on AC as she is glad that she is living in a castle now. "Yes, we have stayed in caves, huts, in the trees, and other places outside. However, now, I can sleep in a more comfortable place". Ginger said to them as she is in her cat tower/bed.
AC nod as he has some work to do and to getting settled in. he walks the two girls out of the workshop as he is getting his things put away. AC is working on an inventory of things that are here in the workshop. as he is writing down the various spell books that are here, he is sensing something as he gose into magical meditation. Ginger turn as she see that AC is sensing something.
"AC what's wrong"? Ginger asks AC as she is right by his side.
AC is stunned and shocked by what he is sensing as he is wondering how it is possible. "I am not sure how is this possible. I sensed Gabriella's magical signature and presence in this vicinity of the castle". AC said to Ginger as it is a clear sign that they need to check things out.
Ginger look at AC as she knows that this is very important to check out. "Gabriella's magical signature and presences, didn't she vanish years ago"? Ginger asks AC as she has heard about Gabriella from him.
AC nod as he grab his wand and tambourita as he grab his cloak and bag. Ginger climbs up his cloak as she get into the hood. "Yes she did disappeared in a mysterious circumstances, Ginger. This is the first clue about it in a very long time". AC said to Ginger as he wishes that Lorenzo was here to tell him about the discovery.
Ginger look at AC as she understand how much Gabriella meant to him. "That is true AC". Ginger said to AC as she is ready to go for what ever adventure is waiting for the two of them.
AC uses a levitation spell on himself as he get on the roof of the castle as he spots the stranger poral. as they lead on the portal. AC and Ginger lands in a hidden cave somewhere as he is stunned by it. He is deeply confused as he uses a light spell as he find his way out of the hidden cave as he find himself on the shore line of the castle ground.
"Well Ginger, it looks like I found my first major project here at the castle". AC said to Ginger as he needs to gather evidence and to see who used it and what for.?
Ginger look at AC as she know that something is bothering him. "Yes, but you look like something is on your mind". Ginger said to AC as she has her intuition about things.
AC nod as he look at Ginger as he is deeply puzzled about his adoptive sister's magical signature there and active. "There is Ginger. With Gabriella's magical signature is still active after all these years, she is still alive. However, if she actually passed, the signature is no longer active and the magical portal will be there permanently with no way to remove it. But since it is still active, my adopted sister is still alive but just trapped somewhere. With the portal on the roof, I have a hunch that my adoptive sister placed it there as an inconspicuous place where no one would think to look and make sure that it was not placed on the ground to prevent any accidents with a person that fell into it. It makes me wonder how long that cave was in existence and when it was formed. Judging by the location of it, I say it was a timing when no one actually look that way from the castle". AC said to Ginger as they are back outside from the cave itself.
Ginger nod as she can agree as they look up the cliff as they can't see the castle above. "I agree with you on that part AC". Ginger said to AC as she turns as she notices something in the water. "Although what is that in the water"? Ginger asks AC as she is wondering about it.
AC turn as he look at the water like some sort of runway is in the water itself. "I am not sure, but it does not look like something that was made naturally from the elements around here". AC said to Ginger as he checks things out with his wand and a magical signature check. He frowns as it was made a very long time ago and its signature belongs to someone who passed away a couple of decades ago as it was there a very long time ago.
"Ok this runway was made with magic decades ago by an unknown individual. However, this magical signature is not active. Plus by the way it looks, it had a purpose to land at the entrance of this cave like someone wanted to bring things here". AC said to Ginger as he writes this down. He uses magic to get the measurements of the runway and how long it is.
Ginger nod as she look at AC as she is curious about the runaway itself. "So if someone wanted to come to this location, it was mostly likely done underneath the royals noses this whole time". Ginger said to AC as she realizes what the runway was used for.
AC look at Ginger as he agrees about it as he think about the water. "Yes, plus, it would have been when the tide was at its lowest to reveal the runway for them to see it. I fear that the royals never knew of this place existence. Plus, I am wondering if my adoptive sister also found out about the cave". AC said to them as there is another thing on his mind as they head back to the castle.
Ginger look at AC as she can understand about that part as she has a question for him. "AC, does Madeline remind of your adoptive sister in someway? I mean the way she defended you from Cordelia is very telling". Ginger said to AC as she is wondering if that is the case.
AC sigh as he look at Ginger as it is true as he has a very troubling thought roaming in his his heart. "Majorly, however the first name is a huge slap to my adoptive sister's face though. I am deeply conflicted about it. Even though my adoptive sister's feelings and experiences with the particular first name are deeply valid, I fear that they will walk over them to little to no regard to my adoptive sister and vilify her for it". AC said to Ginger as he is deeply conflicted about it.
"Plus if my adoptive sister is discovered alive after all this time and freed from what ever is holding her, it will cause some friction and tension between her and the royal family. I deeply fear that some family diplomatic efforts will need to be put in place and compromises will need to be taken place as well. Plus I am not sure who to confide about this issue that is not the princesses and not close with the families involved and huge issue though. Keeping it to myself will be a huge challenge before someone notice that something is on my mind". AC said to Ginger as he will need to confide in someone about it
Ginger look at AC as she dose agree about that point on things. "I do agree that will be a challenge to say the least. However, I have a hunch that the Queen of Enchanted already knows about the name issue". Ginger said to AC as the name issue is a hot topic right now.
AC nod as he look at Ginger as it is a hurdle to over come to say the lest. "Yeah plus I am not sure how well she will react to my suspicions about my adoptive sister being alive after of this time. At the same time if I tell King Roland the second about it, she will figure out that he is keeping something from her and will likely to confront me about it. Plus if I tell them together, it will add another thing for them to worry and stress over on top of the name issue. No matter how I look at it, I am in a lose-lose situation ". AC said to Ginger as there is a lot of pros and cons to things.
Ginger look at AC as there is a lott of good and bad points about telling them about this newly discovery. "Well, your adoptive sister told you about the cave for a reason. Perhaps when you discover more evidence about it, maybe it will lessen the huge blow to King Roland and Queen Miranda". Ginger said to AC as she wants to give him some sort of encouragement to discover things.
AC sighs as he knows that he will need to keep it to himself for the time being and not tell a single person about it. "Right, we should head back to the castle and prepare for the many trips to that cave and a journal to write down what is there". AC said to Ginger as they head back to the castle. However, what they don't realize that a particular raven spotted them leaving the hidden cave and to report back.
By the evening on the night before the first day of school, the royal family and couise are outside as AC is getting a bonfire set up as Ginger is back in the castle. plus he has comfortable chair for everyone as well as a campfire snack prepared as well. "Wow, this is different change of pace AC". Madeline said to them as it does feel like camping outside.
AC look at them as he sigh as he dose want to share a family tradition from his adoptive family. "Well, I wanted to share one of my family traditions from my adoptive family with all of you. The night before school started we always had a bonfire and talk what we wish for in the new school year". AC said to them as he explains about it.
Amber look at AC as this is very fun and exciting. "It sounds like fun to me AC. It does give us a chance to relax for one last night". Amber said to them
as the other kids and adults said sound like fun to me Ac.
AC nod as he look at Amber as everyone has sticks for roasting Marshmallows to put between the graham crackers and chocolate. "Yeah, plus it makes you think, slow down, and reflect on the summer and what is coming up in the fall and to stop and smell the roses". AC said to them as he explains about it.
James is stunned as he has never heard of that saying before. "Wait a minute, it does, and roses are for girls AC". James said to AC as he does not realize that figurative language in the saying.
AC look at James as he shake his head as it dose not nectarial mean that. "Stop and smell the roses mean taking the time to appreciate the daily moments in life. It is also about taking time to enjoy life's moments is one of the most meaningful things to do. Just because an item that is usually meant for girls in a saying it does not mean saying needs to be changed. There are various saying that has different meanings in a figuratively and literal sense of the matter". AC said to James as he explains about it.
James Look at AC as he is staring to understand about it. "I have never thought about it like that before AC. Does the word rose appear in other sayings as well"? James asks AC as he is wondering about it.
AC nod as he look at them as it dose appear in other saying. "Yes it does. Another saying that has the word rose in it goes like this, a rose by any other name is just sweet. It means that things are what they are no matter what name you give them". AC said to them as he explains about it.
Miranda look at AC as she nod as she is wondering if she can talk to him about the name issue. "That is very true AC". Miranda said to AC as Roland agrees as they continue to have fun.
AC nod as everyone is enjoying the treat, AC has a solemn smile on his face as Mirand notices as she is is wondering what troubling the new royal sorcerer. she decides to hold off from asking him as today is his first full night at the castle.

James Next Time: It is the first day of school for the students of Royal Prep. As a new student named Princess Zooey starts a new club, she will have some bad intentions to use Sofia and Madeline to gain a map and an item that will be meant for Madeline.
