Chapter 7: Minefield

Once our beloved protagonist reached the outskirts of a certain 'abandoned' settlement, she landed gracefully on her feet; where she gently set down the Lone Wanderer; who immediately knelt on the ground, while at the same time shaking like a leaf from the 'traumatic' journey.

"So, David ... Is this Minefield?" asked Goki with her gaze on the half dozen houses that were spread out meters away from their position; which looked quite dilapidated and old like everything else she had seen in the short time she has been in this world.

The blond who was still still kneeling on the ground; upon hearing her fellow adventurer's question, began to slowly rise from her position in a shaky manner; as she was still recovering from a certain 'traumatic' experience.

"Y-Yes... I-That seems..." replied David with an obvious stutter; the moment he was fully on his feet, while at the same time staring at his hands without explanation.

The black-haired woman with black hair in the shape of a palm tree; noticing the nervousness of the former inhabitant of Vault 101 turned around with a curious expression, and saw that he was looking at his hands ... Could he have a splinter or something that was bothering him? No doubt this caught his attention a bit, but in reality, what was more on his mind was the phobia of his fellow adventurer.

"David ... Are you afraid of heights or flying?" asked Goki with a small amused smile; while at the same time approaching the distracted Lone Wanderer, who was still looking at his hands.

The blue-eyed young man almost fell backwards; the moment he realized he had a certain woman in exotic orange with blue clothing, practically inches away from his face.

"B-Both!" exclaimed David very embarrassed; at the moment he backed up two steps away from the smiling woman with huge K-cup breasts, while at the same time diverting his gaze to his PipBoy due to the fact that he didn't want; the latter to see his small blush.

The woman with striking dark eyes like coal began to laugh at the 'angry' and slightly blushing look of the blond; who immediately buried her face in that strange device called 'PipBoy 3000' ... Though she suddenly stopped laughing as she remembered something that had happened at a certain perverted woman's store.

"... David?" said Goki with some hesitation to the former inhabitant of Vault 101; who had apparently put aside his embarrassment to start looking for something on the flashy black screen device with green lettering.

When the blue-eyed young man heard that his fellow adventurer said his name; he stopped looking at his PipBoy, in which he was looking for what firearm he could use in this mission due to the fact that according to Moira's words in Minefield there were 'ghosts' that killed curious adventurers; and this meant that it was very possible that there would be a confrontation.

"Yes?" answered David with a neutral tone; at the moment he focused his gaze on the nervous young woman in exotic orange and blue clothing, who had begun to rub her hands together, further demonstrating this state.

The black-haired woman with palm tree-shaped spiky hair was not sure whether to ask the Lone Wanderer the following question, but in the end, she stopped rubbing her hands together in a clear sign of nervousness; and then decided to ask the question that intrigued her so much.

"... Why didn't you tell Moira the truth about what happened in Super-Duper Mart?" asked Goki quite intrigued by the answer of the former inhabitant of Vault 101.

The blue-eyed young man thought about it for a moment whether to tell her the truth or lie to her because he wasn't quite sure what consequences he could throw in her face, but in the end, he decided to tell her the truth; although he didn't think his words through.

"Well ... Let's just say I'm not sure how Moira would have reacted to the things you can do, Goki," David answered truthfully; perhaps he had been too direct and didn't measure his words because they provoked a reaction in the woman in striking orange with blue clothing.

The coal-dark-eyed woman looked very sad at those hurtful words (unconsciously) from the Lone Wanderer.

"Oh... I understand... she would think I'm some kind of monster..." said Goki in a low voice; as he averted his gaze anywhere so as not to meet the gaze of the former inhabitant of Vault 101. "So... Does everyone see me as a monster?" she thought almost on the verge of tears as a series of memories on Earth invaded her mind.

The blond realizing his mistake; his calm expression changed to one of horror when he saw that the woman with huge breasts was about to cry, so he immediately tried to explain himself with the first thing that came to his mind.

"No, that's not what I meant-"

{BANG!}

The shot (which came from somewhere in Minefield) hit full in the chest of the Saiyan woman; who backed up a step totally surprised at the instant when the small metallic object hit hard against her large left chest, causing it to bounce in a rather striking way before the look of complete disbelief of the Lone Wanderer; who could not believe what his eyes had witnessed.

"Goki!" exclaimed David of his adventuring companion; while at the same time pushing the latter towards some medium sized rocks to dodge another bullet this time aimed at his head. "Are you okay?" he asked with obvious concern; once they were protected from the continuous accurate and deadly shots of the experienced sniper, who surely has them in his sights; just in case they thought of poking their heads out a little.

The black-haired woman with palm-tipped black hair had not even noticed that the former inhabitant of Vault 101 had pushed her for her safety onto some rocks, but upon hearing the latter's question she somehow snapped out of her stupor.

"... Yes", answered Goki with a frown; at the moment she removed her right hand from her large left breast, while at the same time she kept thinking about an identical event she lived in her world when some guys tried to kidnap her; for reasons unknown to her to this day.

The blond couldn't help but hide his astonishment at seeing no wounds or even a scratch on the large chest of the woman in striking orange with blue clothing; no doubt she was very special and so amazing, to the point of comparing her to a 'Goddess' or a similar entity ... Though he suddenly shook his head pushing those thoughts away (for the moment) regarding Goki, as they were now in dire straits with a certain enemy watching them through a telescopic sight.

"Damn sniper..." muttered David with clenched fists, to be followed by him turning on his PipBoy again; and quickly began to search the sector where his firearms were.

In a green glow a hunting rifle with telescopic sight added by hand materialized; to the dumbfounded expression of his partner in crime, as two instant thoughts invaded his mind:

*First was that somehow that Pip-Boy stored items like Bulma's Hoi-Poi capsules.

*And second was that that green glow again reminded him of the Legendary Super Saiyan.

"...What?" said David to himself; unable to believe what he was seeing through his telescopic sight. "It's a decrepit old man," he revealed with an incredulous tone; but quickly put that aside the moment he placed his index finger on the trigger of his modified hunting rifle.

{BANG!}

Goki flinched a little at the loud sound of the Lone Wanderer's gun because it reminded her of her childhood when a hunter mistook her for a wild animal... Remembering that only depressed her, so she quickly pushed those thoughts out of her mind to focus on what was happening right now.

Meanwhile, the bullet from the rifle of the former inhabitant of Vault 101 sped through Minefield's space until it hit the sniper's sights killing him on the spot as it went through the eye and brain; staining a wall behind the old man with blood and brain matter, a quick death.

"That old man won't murder anyone anymore..." muttered David with a sigh between relieved and annoyed; to be followed by him rising somewhat gingerly from his position.

The woman with striking dark eyes as dark as carbon; began to look around with a clearly confused expression, as she had missed what happened in the seconds she was disconnected from reality.

"David? ... What happened?" asked Goki with a confused tone; once he got up from the ground with a quick and agile jump, while at the same time using his left hand to scratch where that metallic thing had impacted him moments before.

The blond-haired young man turned around rather puzzled at the question of the young woman with huge G-cup breasts.

"...Don't you remember that-"

The Lone Wanderer paused slightly as he remembered where the bullet fired by the old man had hit, so he immediately decided not to remind him of that; and quickly changed the subject.

"Well ... Let's just say that someone tried to hurt us, but relax because the problem is already solved," David promised with a small smile; while at the same time resting the barrel of his hunting rifle on his right shoulder.

The Saiyan woman stood thoughtfully for a while at the blue-eyed young man's words, but then shrugged her shoulders in a sign of boredom.

"Okay..." accepted Goki without problems the answer of the former inhabitant of the Vault 101; and he watched her with disbelief at her disinterest in what had happened a moment ago. "So, what do we do now?" she asked this time with a touch of excitement at the prospect of fighting someone strong, although she wasn't sure if in this world there was any person with a similar power to her ... Except for Broly; who she had no idea where he might be now.

The blue-eyed young man shook his head at his adventure partner's carefree attitude, but that question she asked anyway; caused him to put aside what had happened to concentrate on an answer.

"About that..." David was thoughtful for a while due to the fact that now there was not so much danger anymore; and for this reason, they had to return to the main mission of coming to this small town. "I will be in charge of deactivating all the mines in Minefield; and you Goki are going to check the houses for food, drinks or materials." He explained what they would have to do next in this 'ghost' town, where he hoped they would not find any other surprises.

The woman with exotic black hair spiked in the shape of a palm tree; listened attentively to the Lone Wanderer's words, so when he finished, she nodded her head repeatedly.

"Understood, David!" said Goki with a bright smile, while at the same time giving him his typical peace sign with his right hand; to the amused look of the blond-haired young man.

After this, both the Saiyan woman and the former inhabitant of Vault 101 started walking towards Minefield to do their respective missions; which was up to each of them.

Gibson House (09:55 a.m.)

Our beloved protagonist admired with astonishment the two-story house; and of ancient appearance in front of her because comparing them with those of her world they were very different, but she left that aside; and instead, she went towards the entrance of the house, where she then stretched her right arm to grab with her hand the door knob; which did not take long to turn (even though it was locked) and squeaked before her superhuman strength.

Once she entered the house, the Saiyan woman froze at the door; because her gaze was fixed on a corpse resting on a small table, but her fear was not this; but rather that the lifeless guy belonged to that group of bad people, who bothered her so much ... Suddenly, though, that fear vanished as if by magic when she turned her head to the left and saw something that left her speechless.

"WOW!" exclaimed Goki in true amazement; as her striking coal-dark eyes (which glowed with much excitement) focused on an object to her left. "It's a little house!" she said aloud; once she held the object that served as a decoration in her hands.

The little house was an exact replica of the house where the Saiyan woman was; also next to the little house was a blue colored metal toy car with four rubber wheels, and a yellow colored racing driver in the cockpit.

"... What do I do? ... Do I take it or don't I take it? ..." asked Goki to herself rather nervously because she was not sure whether or not to take the little house she liked so much; to the point where her black eyes were shining with happiness like those of a little girl.

The Saiyan woman gently bit her lower lip, but in the same way she took out a package with the capsules that Bulma gave her (which were in the pocket of her Gi); where she took out a special golden one (which allowed her to store as many objects as she wished) and held it in her right hand, while in her left hand she held the little house that she then left on the floor.

"You will come with me too", added Goki with a smile; at the moment she focused her gaze on the toy car, which she then grabbed with her left hand; where she ended up leaving it (as well as the little house) on the floor.

Once the Saiyan woman put down the toy car on the floor, she then pushed a button (with her thumb) on the object she was holding in her hand; and then gently tossed the golden capsule towards the two objects on the floor.

{Burst!}

A cloud of smoke completely enveloped the little house next to the toy car, so the woman in exotic orange and blue clothing bent down to grab the Hoi-Poi capsule from the floor with her right hand.

After that, the Saiyan woman looked around the living room; where there were other things that did not interest her much, such as a sofa, a table (on which the dead looter was leaning), a television, etc.

..

.

Until suddenly she saw something that quite caught her growing curiosity, so she wandered into a new room that was under the stairs that had no door; and almost instantly she found herself in such a place where there wasn't much to appreciate (a desk and a couple of filing cabinets), except for something that caught her attention.

"A book?" murmured Goki with a touch of interest; the moment she reached the old and dust-covered desk, but suddenly she frowned as she focused her striking coal-dark eyes on the gaudy book (which lay on a desk next to a burnt terminal) because she couldn't figure out what it said on the cover; which she certainly found amusing, and again her childish mind played with her.

The skill book is titled: Tumblers Today Volume 7, which gave knowledge and secrets about the Lockpick skill to the reader who was interested in it.

"... Maybe it will be useful to David," Goki said with a thoughtful look; as he remembered his partner in crime telling him during breakfast about how one of his hobbies was reading, so he immediately used the golden capsule to store the book he holds in his hand.

Having finished checking the office and bathroom to find nothing useful or of interest to her, the woman with black, palm-tipped hair left there; and instead headed straight for the kitchen with a touch of hope of finding food or something to drink.

"A refrigerator!" exclaimed Goki in amazement, only to be inches away from the fridge in one leap; and it took him almost no time at all to open the door of said non-functioning food-preserving, beverage-cooling machine (where he was careful of his superhuman strength). "And it's got food!" she squealed in pure happiness and even started jumping up and down to demonstrate how happy she was to see packaged food.

The Saiyan woman grabbed the first thing within reach of her right hand; this being a packaging that was in a white box with blue edges that was quite worn down by the passage of time.

"A potato?" said Goki with a touch of confusion; which quickly turned to curiosity at the old box she held in her hand as she was guided by the image of the latter, but after a few seconds she stopped contemplating the object in her hand; and followed by setting it down on top of the refrigerator.

The next box that the charcoal-dark-eyed woman grasped in her right hand was a package, which was in a red box with yellow lettering; and like the white box with blue borders, it was rather tattered.

"Apples with ... candy?" deduced Goki with an excited tone; the moment her sensitive sense of smell caught the scent of candied apples from the box ... Though she suddenly grimaced because they were also stale, so she immediately put said box down and placed it next to the packet of potatoes (InstaMash).

The next thing the Saiyan woman grabbed was a glass bottle with a dark liquid, red label and white lettering ... Of course, just like the other things she found it was also old from the amount of years it has been stored in a fixed place.

"These colors ... I think I remember them from somewhere ..." muttered Goki with a thoughtful look; while at the same time examining the bottle of soda quite closely and was even tempted to open it to taste it, but suddenly a memory came to her mind stopping her in her tracks. "... Metro Marigold," she whispered in surprise; remembering said subway station because a certain weird scientist was also in that place, although she suddenly shook her head leaving those thoughts aside; and instead left the glass bottle filled with the dark liquid next to the boxes of food on top of the fridge.

And, lastly, the black-haired woman with palm-shaped spiky hair grabbed from the fridge a roasted squirrel pierced with a stick; the Saiyan woman's striking coal-dark eyes watched the cooked protein with fascination.

"Roasted squirrel!" exclaimed Goki with renewed happiness, while at the same time his mouth was watering just looking at the delicious roasted meat of the little animal ... But just in time he shook his head stopping himself from devouring the Squirrel on a stick; and instead decided to arrange it next to the other things he found in the fridge because he had to share all this food with his adventure partner.

After this, the bright orange and blue woman arranged all the food (she even found another box of Dandy Boy Apples on top of the kitchen counter) and the glass soda on the floor, and then gently tossed the golden capsule she was holding in her left hand.

{Burst!}

When the golden capsule made contact with the food and the soda bottle, a cloud of smoke enveloped them completely and ended up storing them in a flicker in the small object.

"Low plant checked!" said Goki loudly (to no one in particular) with a big smile; as he bent down to grab the Hoi-Poi capsule from the floor, which this time he held in his left hand with much enthusiasm.

Having finished checking the kitchen completely, the Saiyan woman walked calmly out of the latter; but immediately came upon the ladders that led her upstairs.

"This is fun," Goki said with a giggle; as she began to climb the stairs to a place, she was unfamiliar with, as it reminded her of when she was a restless child venturing out of her grandfather Gohan's house into the unknown; until she met her first friend, Bulma.

Once the woman with eyes as dark as coal reached the top floor, she saw that there were two rooms (one main room and one for the children) and what she deduced was a bathroom, but first she focused on the first room to her left; where she began to walk towards the latter at a slow pace, finding a place that left her immobilized.

"It's a child's room..." muttered Goki with a trembling tone; as he observed the toys scattered on the bed and floor, no doubt babies and children are his greatest weakness.

The woman with black hair spiked in the shape of a palm tree out of respect for the missing (possibly deceased) child decided not to take anything from the room, so she immediately turned around; and continued her exploration in the last two rooms that remained ... In the bathroom she found nothing of her interest, but when she took a step into the main room; she got a surprise, and her spirits dropped even more.

"Rest in peace ..." said Goki in a low voice; the moment he saw the two skeletons huddled together on the time-worn bed.

Having finished doing that, the Saiyan woman went back to scanning the main room for items of her interest, but her enthusiasm was not the same as before ... Still, after a while she spotted something that was behind a rectangular book shelf; so, she started walking towards that spot.

"A giant cube ..." whispered Goki with an almost innocent amazement; once he was less than half a metro away from the giant cube, which was actually a black colored safe.

The coal-dark-eyed woman to be more comfortable moved the rectangular bookcase a bit without any effort; and at the same time, she had to be careful not to break the delicate wood weathered with the passage of time ... He even swallowed saliva when the floor squeaked in a rather suspicious manner; in the sense that at any moment it could crumble.

Once she did this, the Saiyan woman knelt down to be at the level of the 'giant cube' where she observed it with fascination because this like the other things in the house was affected by the lack of maintenance, but this one being made of metal was rusted ... No doubt that seemed interesting to him because in his home he never saw a thing in such a state; perhaps that was because Bulma's technology offered daily maintenance on such objects.

"... Maybe David better take care of this," Goki said to herself; once she thought about it deeply, because she somehow sensed that if she opened it she would possibly break something by reason of her superhuman strength.

After this, the woman with tousled black spiky hair got up from her kneeling position; and then she left the upper floor slowly walking down the stairs, where she walked straight to the door of the house.

With David (At the Same Time)

The Lone Wanderer was lurking near the house that Goki had entered to investigate; where he soon found several land mines, which, just by approaching, were activated ... He already knew why the adventurers preferred to avoid this 'haunted' town.

"With that one, that's five land mines deactivated," David said with a small smile; while at the same time wiping the sweat from his forehead with his right hand.

The blond had cleared a good part of the house where his adventure partner was, where he stacked each landmine on top of the other in an orderly fashion; then he headed to the next house to do the same.

Benson House (10:16 a.m.)

Our beloved protagonist silently admired the two-story house in front of her, but unlike the previous one; this one was in poor condition because it was missing a large amount of wood on the right side.

Before entering the house, the Saiyan woman made the peace sign to her fellow adventurer; who was about to defuse a land mine near a lawn mower, and the latter upon seeing her returned the greeting with a small smile.

"I just hope I don't find any more ugly surprises..." muttered Goki with a sad tone; at the moment he took his right hand towards the doorknob, and then turned it without caring about the creaking sound; that he made because of his superhuman strength.

Once she entered the house, the black-haired woman with black hair in the shape of a palm tree found a suitcase in bad condition next to the kitchen entrance; on the right hand side was the entrance and on the left hand side was the living room ... She obviously didn't think twice and rushed into the kitchen with much enthusiasm, but what she found was not what she expected.

"Food-"

The Saiyan woman suddenly fell silent when she saw that the kitchen fridge was in simple words ... Shattered, as the door had been ripped off by mere brute force; and the contents of the refrigerator were all over the place, obviously all long gone.

"... No food..." whispered Goki sadly, as his coal-dark eyes observed the opened food packages (made dusty) and broken drink bottles on the floor; he even saw the refrigerator door on top of a wooden table.

With nothing more to do in the old, trashed kitchen, the woman in the exotic orange-and-blue dress left the place; and next she entered the living room of the house (hoping to find something), where to her discomfort she saw something on the stairs.

"... Another corpse," Goki said to herself when she saw the lifeless body of a looter right next to the staircase railing; almost on the verge of falling off the second floor ... She quickly decided to ignore the guy's body, though.

The Saiyan woman to avoid the looter's corpse levitated to the stairs (seeing how unnecessary it was to climb them), then headed to the second floor hallway where she gently rested her feet on the wooden floor; which creaked because of how deteriorated it was by the passage of time.

"Maybe there's another book that will be of use to David," Goki said with a thoughtful expression; but once again he fell silent when he saw another corpse of a person at the entrance of the first room on the second floor.

The black-haired woman with palm-shaped spiky hair murmured a few words to the lifeless body of the stranger who was not a looter; and stood for a while in silence to pay her respects. After this, she made her way to the first room on the second floor; and again, got another surprise.

"... Another n-children's room." Goki almost stuttered at the sight of the bunk bed filled with toys and comics, which like the rest of the house were in poor condition due to dampness and the passage of time.

Silently, the Saiyan woman backed down the long hallway; and left without taking anything from the room out of respect for the children who once lived there.

"Another book!" exclaimed Goki happily (leaving aside his sadness), as he leapt towards the desk to be within reach of the dusty book; which he was quick to grab with his right hand.

The skill book is titled: D.C. Journal of Internal Medicine. Volume 2, which grants knowledge and secrets about the skill Medicine to the reader who was interested in it.

"I don't know what it will say ... But I'm sure it will do David some good!" said Goki aloud, while a determined look formed on her face.

The black-eyed woman lifted her gaze from the book because something else caught her attention; and she saw that it was only a safe that was behind a bookcase.

"Another safe for David to open..." muttered Goki with a small smile, as she took her gaze off said object; to start looking around the main room to see if there was anything else interesting, she could take with her... Where he found nothing of use.

After this, the Saiyan woman kept the book in the golden Hoi-Poi capsule and left the main room walking quietly down the hallway until she reached the stairs; where she again levitated 30 centimeters from the floor and headed (without looking back) towards the entrance of the house.

With David (At the Same Time)

The Lone Wanderer was loitering near the second house that Goki had entered to investigate.

"That's seven land mines deactivated..." muttered David with a tired tone, while at the same time he turned on his Pip-Boy with the intention of looking for a drink.

In a green glow a bottle of Nuka-Cola appeared which the blond grabbed with his right hand.

"I wish there was a way to make them again," David said to himself with a nostalgic sigh because he remembered that in Vault 101, they had their own Nuka-Cola machine.

After finishing his drink, the blue-eyed young man again used his Pip-Boy 3000 to disappear in another green glow the empty Nuka-Cola bottle; once he did this, he headed towards the next house to clear it of the land mines around it.

Gillian's House (10:30 a.m.)

Once our beloved protagonist arrived at the third house in the settlement, she didn't pay as much attention to said house as the other two; It is possible that she had already lost that enthusiasm that she had from the beginning to explore a new place, but anyway she had a mission to fulfill.

Before entering the house, the woman with spiky black hair in the shape of a palm tree looked around the house for her adventure partner, but curiously she couldn't find him anywhere... land mines elsewhere in Minefield? Whatever it is, she had her share of her mission with certain houses.

"Let's see what surprise there is in this house..." Goki murmured with his gaze fixed on the wooden door of the third house he would check, while at the same time he stretched out his right arm to grab the doorknob with his hand; and then I turn it without measuring the strength of it... Again.

When the Saiyan woman entered her house, her wary look changed into an expression of pure joy because her sensitive hearing picked up the particular sound certain mutated insects made as they walked.

"There are two cockroaches in the living room...two more under the stairs...and another five upstairs..." Goki whispered with a wide smile; at the moment when she decided to levitate twenty centimeters from the ground so as not to scare said insects.

The coal-black-eyed woman prepared for her next move (charging energy into the index finger of her right hand) and then moved to where the living room was where she shot two small golden Ki 'beams' from her index finger. the right hand towards the Radroaches; that they seemed to be distracted or oblivious to her presence, so they never had a chance to save themselves and even less to defend themselves from the attack of the 'intruder'; where they ended up dying instantly when the hot Ki 'rays' pierced their heads and part of their abdomens.

"Perfect", Goki said in a low voice and even had to control himself from shouting with joy, but for now he would leave certain insects in the living room because now he had to check another part of the house.

After this, the Saiyan woman turned around in the air and headed towards the kitchen, which in this case was behind her (from another point of view she would be on the right hand side); where she found something that again made her very happy.

"Another refrigerator…" Goki whispered in amazement, before moving towards the refrigerator levitating; and it takes almost no time to open the door to open the door of said food preservation and beverage cooler machine without working. "And it has food…" she said with a sigh of happiness seeing the packaged food again, plus there was a little more than the previous refrigerator.

The woman with spiky black hair in the shape of a palm tree grabbed the first thing that was within reach of her right hand; this one being packaged in a small, worn red box displaying a picture of a steak with the words 'Salisbury Steak' across the top and 'now with Gravy!' at the bottom... Obviously she didn't know that she said the box, but that wasn't a reason for not knowing what was inside because of two very clear things, which were:

*The image of the fillet.

*His sensitive nose picked up the aroma of the meat, somewhat rancid, but that didn't matter much.

"Meat…" Goki muttered with a dreamy look, the moment he saw the worn image of a steak; and no doubt she expected to taste it when she got to eat it, but after a few seconds she stopped looking at the object in her hand (reluctantly because if it had been up to her she would have eaten it right there) and immediately left it on top of the refrigerator.

The next package the coal-black-eyed woman grabbed with her right hand was a blue box with red labeling.

The full title on the packaging reads "YumYum Brand Pure Dried Whole Deviled Eggs."

"... Eggs?" Goki deduced with a touch of confusion and intrigue, and this was because he hadn't eaten scrambled or fried eggs in a long time; The thought of this caused his stomach to grumble, but just in time she was able to push away that desire of hers to satiate his hunger, and instead left said packaging on top of the fridge next to the steak box.

The next thing the Saiyan woman grabbed with her right hand was a skewer (or Kebab) of Crispy squirrel bits impaled on a stick; and seeing this caused her mouth to water, since meat was her favorite food and she couldn't say no to it... Until now.

"No, no, no… Now is not the time to eat…" Goki said to herself; at the moment when she almost took a bite of the Crispy squirrel bits, so with a sad expression she left said food on top of the fridge; and then she started looking for more food or drinks in the kitchen.

After this, the woman with spiky black hair in the shape of a palm tree arranged all the food on the ground; She then gently tossed the golden capsule that she was holding in her left hand.

{Pop!}

When the golden capsule made contact with the packages and the Crispy squirrel bits, a cloud of smoke completely enveloped them; and she ended up storing them in a blink in the small object.

"Kitchen revised," said Goki with a big smile; as she bent down to grab the Hoi-Poi capsule from the ground, which she this time held in her left hand with much enthusiasm.

When she finished doing that, the woman with striking dark eyes like coal levitated calmly out of the kitchen towards the living room; where the other Radroachs that she hadn't eliminated yet were still.

"Let's see what those giant cockroaches are doing…" Goki whispered with the same smile on her lips, while she at the same time prepared herself for her next move.

Twirling in the air, the Saiyin woman fired three golden Ki 'bolts' from the index finger of her right hand: One of her attacks hit the Radroach on top of the ladder; and the other two 'rays' hit the other insects that were coming out of the bathroom on the ground floor, where she, like her relatives, did not have time to dodge and even less defend themselves.

"Okay... Now there are the cockroaches upstairs..." Goki muttered with a look of pure emotion; the moment he focused his black eyes on the first floor.

Once the woman with spiky black hair in the form of a palm tree reached the top floor in a blink; She with another quick movement of her right hand eliminated the remaining insects at a high speed with the same attack as before.

After this, Goki searched for each of the dead Radroachs in the house; and she arranged them in a small mountain on the floor of the living room, to then gently throw the golden capsule that she held in her left hand.

{Pop!}

When the golden capsule made contact with the dead Radroachs, a cloud of smoke completely enveloped them; and I end up storing them in a blink in the little object.

"House cleared of giant cockroaches!" Goki exclaimed with a very happy tone; once she stopped levitating, and instead she supported her feet on the railing of the stairs; while she at the same time supported her hands on her striking hips.

Once the Saiyan woman had done this, she planted her feet on the ground again, where she in turn took an amusing turn until she was face to face with the upstairs hallway, but was a little disheartened when she again saw another room of children... Until suddenly his eyes, dark as coal, saw a book that could be of use to his fellow adventurer.

"Ignore your surroundings... Just focus on the book..." Goki said to herself; the moment she started to walk towards the room she was so afraid of running into.

With both hands at the sides of her head very close to her eyes (with the intention of blocking her gaze from her surroundings), the woman with spiky black hair in the shape of a palm tree crossed the room; until she finally reached the bed where the book, she had seen from the hallway was, so without thinking twice she grabbed it with her right hand.

The skill book is titled: Grognak the Barbarian Volume 9, which gives knowledge and secrets about the Melee Weapons skill to the reader who is interested in it.

"One more book David can use," Goki said with a small proud smile; while at the same time he quickly left the room of the boy or girl; preferring to stay in the upstairs hallway.

After this, the Saiyan woman kept the skill book in the golden capsule that Bulma gave her; and then she left the upper floor (without even checking it completely) in the direction of the living room, where she went directly to the door of the house with the intention of leaving without looking back.

With David (At the Same Time)

The Lone Wanderer was prowling near the third house that Goki had entered to investigate, but curiously this time he had not seen her enter so he only deduced that she could be inside it.

"With that goes another six deactivated land mines..." David murmured with a small smile because until now he had kept each of these explosive objects in his Pip-Boy 3000 because yes or if he had to take one or two land mines to Moira.

After this, the blonde began to walk towards the playground to deactivate certain explosive objects that were scattered throughout the place; and from there he would continue with the land mines that are around the building that a certain dead old man used as a base.

Zane's House (10:52 a.m.)

Once our beloved protagonist reached the fourth house in the settlement, she let out a tired sigh because she wasn't too sure about investigating these houses anymore; that so far, they were only depressing her by seeing certain rooms.

Before entering the house, the woman with spiky black hair in the shape of a palm tree looked with her eyes at the Lone Wanderer; her until she saw him in the ruined three-story building, but seeing that he seemed very busy with what she was doing, she decided not to bother him.

"Let's see what surprise there is in this house..." Goki murmured with his gaze fixed on the wooden door of the fourth house that he would check, while at the same time stretching his right arm to grab the doorknob with his hand; and then I turn it without measuring the force of it... Again.

Once the Saiyan woman took the first step into the house, she saw that the layout was pretty much the same as the other houses.

"Let's see what's in the room under the stairs..." Goki whispered almost unwilling to continue investigating the houses in Minefield.

When the woman with eyes dark as coal arrived at that place, she found the skeleton of one of the ancient inhabitants; in a way she expected to find this.

"Rest in peace…" Goki said quietly, while at the same time bowing his head a little in respect.

Once the Saiyan woman did this, she started to look around the office until suddenly her attention was drawn to a poster that was next to a dresser and behind the latter was a safe; that as always, she would leave it to a certain blond to open it.

"They look very different from the ships Bulma designs," Goki opined in amazement; seeing the strange earthly ship on the poster because it was undoubtedly quite striking, unbeknownst to her the latter advertised the main attractions of the Museum of Technology; the dome demonstration, the Virgo II lunar lander, and the Planetarium.

Seeing that there was nothing of her interest in the office next to the bathroom, the woman with black hair spiky in the shape of a palm tree continued to search for her; this time heading towards the kitchen.

"Too bad…" Goki mumbled in disappointment; the moment she saw that the fridge was broken with food scattered on the floor, with a sad sigh she began looking around the kitchen for food or drinks that were 'good'; but he found nothing.

After this, the Saiyan woman turned around and headed towards the stairs where she began to slowly climb them until she reached the top floor; where she barely saw the first room, she froze in place of her.

"..." Goki was speechless the moment his black eyes saw the little skeleton lying on the bed.

Doing her best not to cry, the woman with coal-dark eyes (which were bright on the verge of tears) took the first step to enter the child's room, beginning to walk slowly towards the latter's bed; until I was less than half a meter from the book (which was in the hands of a dusty teddy bear), whereby, stretching out her right arm, she grabbed the book with her hand; and then she took several steps back with said object between her huge K-cup breasts.

The skill book is titled: Pugilism Illustrated Volume 2, which gives knowledge and secrets about the Unarmed skill to the reader who is interested in it.

"Don't think about it…" Goki said to herself; at the moment when she quickly left the boy's room, standing in the corridor; where she closed her eyes for a moment taking a few seconds to calm her desire to cry to see the skeleton of the child.

After calming down a bit, the Saiyan woman put the book on the floor in the hallway; She then gently tossed the golden capsule that she was holding in her left hand.

{Pop!}

When the golden capsule made contact with the skill book, a cloud of smoke completely enveloped it; and she ended up storing it in a blink in the small object.

"Rest in peace," Goki whispered towards the room where the boy's skeleton was.

Once this was done, the woman with spiky black hair in the shape of a palm tree began to walk slowly towards the next room (which she was on the left hand side), but she found nothing of interest; and she instead went to the main room, where she this time she did find a surprise.

"Rest in peace..." Goki said almost instantly to the male skeleton on top of the double bed.

The Saiyan woman again started to walk around the room, but she didn't see anything that caught her attention; her until she saw the last room (which was on the right hand side) which turned out to be another bathroom... she Although she didn't even take three steps towards this place when she once again saw another skeleton.

"Rest in peace…" Goki murmured this time with a tired sigh at the end of his words with his gaze on the skeleton that was inside a bathtub.

After this, the coal-black-eyed woman turned around seeing that there was nothing of her interest in the third bathroom of the house; and she began to walk back to the entrance of the house with the intention of leaving... No doubt this particular house had changed her in a particular way.

With David (11:07 a.m.)

The Lone Wanderer was prowling near the fourth house that Goki had entered to investigate and from which it would take a while to get out.

"That's the last five Minefield mines..." David muttered in true amazement because he had deactivated a total of 67 land mines; and all of these were now stored in his Pip-Boy 3000.

After this, the blond looked up at the sniper's nest where that old man who had shot them as soon as they entered Minefield was.

"...Let's go see this old man's corpse," David said to himself with a sigh of relief as he began to walk toward the dilapidated three-story building.

Once he reached the third floor of the ruined building, the former inhabitant of Vault 101 saw a couple of objects along with some consumables and a couple of Nuka-Colas on the second floor that could be used for later; so, in a while he would keep said objects in his Pip-Boy because he would now focus on the sniper.

"The people of the Wasteland are really upset…" David whispered; once he saw the corpse of the old man face down, where to his surprise he was never undeterred in releasing his firearm.

When the blue-eyed young man reached the lifeless body of the old man, he saw that he was still holding his Sniper; so, he bent down with the intention of removing said firearm from his cold and dead fingers... Although it cost him a bit because even in death, he had exerted a strong grip, without a doubt something admirable.

"My first real sniper rifle... Incredible," David stated in awe; ignoring the dried blood of a certain old man that stained a part of his Sniper and also the sight shattered by the bullet that went through him a long time ago.

When the Lone Wanderer stopped admiring his new firearm; instead, he started going through Arkansas's corpse looking for ammunition or something else that would work for him.

"Eureka!" David exclaimed with a smile as he found two .308 caliber cartridges next to a pair of keys; which possibly belong to the houses of Minefield.

The blond-haired young man stared at the keys because he didn't know what to do with them anymore.

"...At this point it seems to me that the keys will not do any good", David said with a somewhat nervous laugh because he had seen from up close and from afar the superhuman strength that Goki has at the moment he opened the doors of the houses like if they were mere twigs of a tree.

When the blue-eyed young man finished checking the old man's corpse; and putting away what he found on said body in his Pip-Boy 3000 (Sniper Rifle, ammo and keys), he headed straight for the ammo crates that were only a few steps away from his position.

"Hmmm…I think I'll go through these ammo boxes at home," David muttered with a thoughtful look; while he at the same time began to stack the four metal boxes two by two.

Once the former Vault 101 inhabitant did this, he again used his Pip-Boy 3000 to store the ammo boxes; and in a green glow said objects disappeared as if by Magic.

"David?"

The blond-haired young man almost fell from the third floor upon hearing the voice of a certain woman with black hair spiky in the shape of a palm tree.

"D-Don't do that, Goki!" David yelled with an obvious frightened stutter; while he at the same time clutched his chest in a clear sign of surprise and pain because his heart almost 'got out' of his rib cage.

The Saiyan woman (who was standing on the main column of the building) looked confused at the blue-eyed young man's reaction; since she did not understand why people get scared that way when they are suddenly called.

"What thing?" Goki said with a tone somewhere between curious and a certain degree of innocence; while he in turn sat on the column of the ruined building where he rested both hands on his shapely legs.

The Lone Wanderer stared at her open-mouthed for a few seconds, thinking what to say in response, until, after a few seconds; He closed her mouth letting out a defeated sigh as he realized there was no point in explaining himself.

"Nothing... Anyway, did you check the houses?" David asked with a touch of interest; so that he in turn leaned against a nearby wall with his sniper in hand waiting patiently for a response from his partner in adventures.

The woman with eyes dark as coal was discouraged, listening to the question of the former inhabitant of Vault 101; because she encountered things that she would have preferred to avoid at all costs.

"Yes, but…" Goki suddenly fell silent; and instead of her, I turn her head a little, looking out of the corner of her eye in the direction of the last house.

The blue-eyed young man noticed this and wondered that he may have scared the young woman of superhuman powers into leaving her that way.

"But?" David encouraged her to continue, while at the same time preparing her sniper just in case because it is possible that her traveling companion saw some wild animal or in the worst case another crazy person with firearms hidden; somewhere in Minefield.

The Saiyan woman averted her eyes from the fourth house; and she in her place began to move her feet in small circles with the intention of not seeing the impatient look of the blond-haired young man.

"But... I left the safes to you," Goki answered with a forced smile; although this was actually a half-truth the moment, she stopped moving her feet, while at the same time focusing her gaze on her adventure partner again.

The former inhabitant of Vault 101 raised an eyebrow at the response of the woman in the exotic orange and blue dress, because I caught something strange in the latter's words; but he mentally shrugged, deciding not to press too hard on the subject.

"Okay, Goki. Well done," David congratulated with a small smile; seeing how the sad expression of his traveling companion changed to a quite positive one.

The coal-black-eyed woman blushed slightly at the Lone Wanderer's words, while she at the same time scratched the back of her neck with her right hand in her typical nervous tic.

"Well...While I finish going through the remaining houses for the safes. You should eat or drink something; I think there are a couple of things on the second floor," David offered as he pointed his hand. right hand to a point on the second floor of the ruined building.

The Saiyan woman's gaze lit up at the words of the former inhabitant of Vault 101, so she immediately dropped from the edge of the column (where she was sitting) to the third floor floor falling gently on her feet; at the surprised look of her traveling companion.

"Thanks, David!" Goki thanked out loud with a big smile on his lips; so that he would then start running in the direction where this food and drink was located.

The Lone Wanderer shook his head at the attitude of the woman in the striking orange and blue dress; Without a doubt, having her as an adventure partner would never be boring due to the comments and questions that the latter made... Without mentioning the superhuman abilities such as her incredible strength (he did not think much about the ability to levitate-fly because the experience, which he had I leave him distrustful and reluctant); where he wondered what limit she could have with said ability.

"I wonder what interesting things the future holds…" David said to himself; at the moment in which he focused his gaze on the clear sky, where he was for a long time; in the end he decided to concentrate on his next mission.

After this, the blonde carefully lowered the ruined building; and then he started walking towards the first house (Fourth in Goki's case) to check the safes, and it is also possible that he finds something else that is useful to him.

Megaton (11:20 a.m.)

A certain robot butler was trying to remove a rust mark from the makeshift kitchen floor with the famous pre-war cleaning agent; Abraxo cleaner.

"Wadsworth."

The robot stopped doing its job when it heard that it was called; and then he turned around to meet the gaze of the boy from Grayditch.

"Yes, Mr. Bryan?" Wadsworth said with considerable attention; at the moment in which he began to float towards where the pale-eyed boy was.

The brown-haired boy's expression went blank the moment he heard the 'señorito'.

"What can we do to pass the time?" Bryan asked with a bored tone, since the robot did not let him help with the cleaning of the house because according to the latter it is only his job.

The robot butler moved the pincers he uses as 'hands' in a sign of amusement.

"How about another one of my jokes?" Wadsworth offered with a hint of excitement at the prospect of telling him more of his 'unbelievable' jokes.

The expression of the light-eyed boy went from bored to one of horror at the mere thought of what new joke the robot is planning to tell him.

"Ehh...No thanks Wadsworth...I think I'm going to go out and play with the Sheriff's son," Bryan replied with a nervous tone; at the moment he started to walk towards the door with the intention of going outside, only to excuse himself when he quickly left the house.

The robot butler's mood fell a little at the Grayditch boy's response.

"Damn brat who doesn't appreciate good jokes…" Wadsworth muttered with obvious anger, while at the same time heading back to the makeshift kitchen to continue trying to remove the rust from the floor.

Unknown Location (At the Same Time)

A guy in a high-ranking military uniform began to review the data that the Ojobot had brought back a few minutes ago; His cool and calm expression changed to a concerned and slightly fearful one at what his green eyes were witnessing... Such a 'being' with such skill loose on American soil was something that could not be ignored and should be controlled or eliminated if necessary. the above did not work.

"This may be a problem..."

"Or an opportunity."

The unknown man with neatly combed gray hair straightened up automatically upon hearing the new voice.

"Mr. President?" said the unknown man with a tone between confused and slightly annoyed at the intrusion of the damn 'robot'.

The Artificial Intelligence known as 'President John Henry Eden' analyzed the video for the fifth time at an astonishing rate; that the Eyebot had brought and provided to them on the woman with the exotic palm-spiked black hair and striking coal-black eyes.

"Colonel Autumn. This could be a great opportunity for the Enclave," he stated with total conviction at the chances of having someone like that woman of superhuman abilities on his side.

The man known as 'Colonel Augustus Autumn' clenched his right fist tightly upon hearing 'President' Eden's words... Or rather ravings of an ancient machine.

"In what way, Mr. President?" asked the second in command of the Enclave with a calm tone; while he at the same time tried to control his emotions in front of the camera that was watching him at all times.

The Artificial Intelligence analyzed again three more times the video of the woman with superhuman powers, who had caused so much commotion lately; and what he would surely cause from now on would be very interesting.

"It's very simple, Colonel. From the data provided by that Ojobot, we now know perfectly well that this phenomenon that shook almost all of Washington D.C. was because of that young lady... If we get her to join us we will be invincible; and we can finally crush those conceited Brotherhood of Steel", said John Henry Eden when analyzing the possibilities (Being 99.9%) that they would have of bringing their precious America from the ashes with someone of such skills as the ' anomaly'.

"But, Mr. President-"

"But nothing, Colonel Autumn. Remember that the future of America depends on the efforts of the Enclave," the president reminded him without any emotion; for him to then 'disconnect' from the camera and the speaker in the private room of the Enclave's second-in-command.

The well-groomed gray-haired man had to swallow his pride not to tell the devil to the damned bossy robot that acted like a human... he knew perfectly well that he was watching him; so, he immediately had to respond by feigning submission.

"Yes, Mr. President..." Augustus Autumn accepted the A.I's words under her breath; but suddenly his eyes darkened when he saw the video again where the woman began to levitate-fly carrying that boy from Vault 101 with her. "... But I must admit that she is very attractive," he said in a low voice at the moment in which he ran his green eyes over the voluptuous and sexy body of the anomaly; concentrating on the striking hips of the latter because suddenly a twisted idea entered his mind and said idea would not leave him alone until he caught a certain woman.

After this, by orders of President Eden; the Ojobot was sent again to tour Washington D.C (Capital Wasteland) with the mission of closely monitoring a certain woman in a striking orange and blue dress to see what other abilities (in addition to levitation-flying) the latter demonstrated, which would be of great utility for the Enclave and the future of America.

End of Chapter Seven

I hope you liked the seventh chapter of this story, and that you obviously enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

I will ask you a couple of questions and you will leave (if you want xD) your answers/opinions:

What will the Enclave do from now on knowing that Goki possesses a certain unique and impossible ability for physics?

Where will Broly be (if he also arrived in the wasteland), will he be far away or near our beloved protagonist?

Will Colonel Augustus Autumn have some sort of obsession with the 'anomaly' (Goki-Kakaroko)?

Additional Question:

Is it possible that the Enclave and the Brotherhood of Steel can unite or at least make an alliance?

As I always tell you in every story I write, if you have any opinion or criticism leave it in the comments box, I'm always interested in reading what you think about the stories I upload.

Well, that would be all until the next chapter.

Ja ne!

The chapter has 10200 words.
