Hey guys ^^ How's everyone doing? I hope everyone's doing well :) Here's chapter 3, hope you'll like it.
3rd Person's P.O.V
A person dressed in green leather jacket and khaki pants, with a metal rod could be seen standing behind an unconscious Lucy. He put the rod down and set up a communication lacrima nearby and started tinkering with it. A few seconds later, the communication lacrima lit up, and a dark figure could be seen on the lacrima, even though their face wasn't visible.
"Madam, the deed is done, Lucy Heartfilia is now unconscious" he said as he turned the lacrima to show Lucy lying unconscious on the floor.
"Good job Milton" the woman said and continued " Is she bleeding?" she asked.
Milton immediately went up to Lucy and checked Lucy's head where he hit, sure enough, she was bleeding but not too much.
"Yes madam, Lucy Heartfilia's head is bleeding" Milton confirmed and the women cackled with laughter.
"Good job Milton. She isn't wounded too badly, right?" the woman asked and Milton nodded.
"Good, now take that girl and go the designated destination. Her guild members could show up at any moment now. Even though you can shape shift and fight to an extent, you're powerless when it comes to Fairy Tail members." the women said in a serious tone.
"Can I ask why you asked me to hit the girl instead of directly making her unconscious using the potion that you gave me?" asked Milton as he was curious as to why he had to hit her first and then use the potion.
"Because this will allow her scent to linger longer and also, the dragon slayer that follows the scent will surely know that she's in some kind of trouble the minute they notice the metallic scent of blood mixed with her natural scent" the woman said as she started to apply nail paint to her fingernails.
"Now, if you don't want to be beaten to death by the Fairy Tail mages, you better hurry up and move the girl" the woman said in a dangerous tone, making Milton sweat.
Milton gulped and nodded. He immediately turned off the lacrima when he received a nod from the woman and picked up Lucy, after which he started walking towards the destination that the woman had given him.
Natsu's P.O.V
After saying goodbye to Mira, me and Happy exited the guild. We had decided to wait up at Lucy's place and wait for her to come back.
We walked for about 5 minutes, before I caught Lucy's scent mingled with the metallic smell of blood. I got a really bad feeling and my heart started pounding as different scenarios started playing out in my head as to what could have happened.
"Luce" I whispered softly before I took off towards the direction from where the smell was coming from.
"Natsu!" I heard Happy call, but I didn't stop. Bad scenarios kept playing in my head and I could do nothing as dread filled my entirety.
I ran and ran. Her scent leading me through the forest towards a cave. I stopped running I caught the scent of another dragon slayer coming from where Lucy's scent was leading me. I had a feeling that something wasn't right.
"What happened Natsu? Why did you start running all of a sudden and why did you stop now?" Happy asked as he flew next to me.
"I can smell Luce's scent mixed with blood coming from that direction" I told Happy pointing towards the cave in the north-east direction and Happy looked at me in shock.
"Then what are you waiting for? Come let's go help Luce" Happy said.
"But I can also smell a dragon slayer's scent coming from that direction. I feel like something's not right Happy" I said and started thinking.
There was no time to waste, each second was important but also this could be a trap, or a strong enemy could be there. Finally making my decision, I turned towards Happy.
"I'll go in to rescue Luce if she's in danger, you go and inform Mira of the situation and let her know that we could be in need of help" I said as I looked at Happy.
"Aye, but Natsu, if you could smell the dragon slayer, doesn't that mean that he can smell you too?" Happy asked, concern evident on his face.
"Yes Happy. But don't worry, if he's an enemy, then I'll take care of him" I said to ensure Happy that everything was going to be okay.
"Aye, you better be careful until I get back help" Happy said and grinned at me while giving me a thumbs up.
Happy flew back to the guild as I headed towards the cave. As I neared the cave, I noticed that the dragon slayer's scent got weaker and weaker, meaning he had already left the cave, but there were scents of 2 other mages.
I entered the cave and followed Lucy's scent to the far end of the cave. As I got closer, I could see a girl around Erza's height and a boy around my height standing there as they looked at me. As I looked closer, I could also see Lucy lying unconscious in the corner of the cave. If I didn't know better, I would have thought she was taking a nap.
I took a step towards them; and the girl took a step towards me as the boy stepped towards Lucy.
"Well well well, how nice of the famous Salamander to come visit us. We are so honoured to meet you" the girl said sarcastically.
"What do you want? Why did you kidnap Luce?!" I asked as I took a fighting stance, ready to face them.
"We wanted the power of a dragon slayer, and we heard that the Fairy Tail guild had 4 dragon slayers. We knew that if we kidnapped a fellow member of your guild and took them far from town, 1 or the other dragon slayer would definitely come to rescue her, so, we kidnapped this blonde chick" the boy answered as he slowly caressed Lucy's cheek. I felt anger boil within me.
"Don't you dare lay a finger on her" I said as I lit my right arm on fire.
"You want to rescue her? Then give us every last bit of magic you have to offer" the girl said as she took another step closer.
"You want my power? Then fight me for it" I said and lunged forward, aiming my burning fist towards the girl's cheeks.
"How rude" she said as she dodged my attack and landed behind me. The boy jumped forward and joined the girl.
"We haven't even introduced ourselves and you're already fighting? We would like our prey to know who we are before we hunt them down" The boy said as water magic gathered around his fist.
"I don't care who you are, anyone who harms my family is my enemy and knowing that, is enough to beat the hell out of them" I said in a dangerous tone as I once again got into a fighting stance.
How dare they kidnap my Lucy and threaten me to for my powers. I'll be sure to make them wish they never should have messed with Fairy Tail or Lucy.
"If you're not willing to listen to our introduction willingly, then we'll force you to listen to us" the boy said, and the girl and the boy immediately started to sing as they waved their fist as if they were the conductor's conducting the orchestra. The water started moving as they pleased, and their voices grew in pitch.
Their high-pitched singing was too much for my sensitive ears and I covered my ears, feeling as if my head was going to explode.
The water circled around me before binding me. The moment the water touched, I felt my strength being drained away. I immediately lit my whole body on fire, evaporating the water around me.
"Impossible" the duo said in shock. "You evaporated our water? No matter how hot the flames are, no one's managed to pull such a feat till date" the boy said as was shocked.
"You've never met a fire dragon slayer before" I said and lunged at them, effectively punching the boy in the face, making him hit the wall of the cave harshly, before falling down and coughing up blood.
"How dare you!" the girl shouted and started to sing in high pitched voice once again and I felt my head hurt.
"Stop!" I shouted and was about to punch the girl again, but the boy got in between us. My fist connected with his gut and the force made him fly back into the girl. The girl caught him, but the boy was already unconscious.
"No! Ether, wake up, please wake up" the girl cried as she shook him. "If you don't then you're going to be dead, do you wish for your sister, Elina to be alone" she cried, and I sweat dropped.
"He's not dead, he's just unconscious. You don't have to be so dramatic about it" I said as the girl cried louder.
"We are known as the Siren twins; we have the magical ability to drain anyone's power but cannot use it as our own, but when we drain the magic power of our own blood, we can make them ours and grow stronger in power. My brother was born weaker than me, he has always been weaker than me, but he had never lost a fight to anyone. So, draining his power never crossed my mind, but now? Now I want to drain him dry, he's a disgrace to our family. He's going to die and you're the reason for it" Elina said as bangs covered her face.
"Are you crazy" I said as I lit my fist on fire, to hit her once again, but she started to sing, and I felt my headache return but 10 times worse.
Her fist started to glow in blue color and Ether's body also started to glow in blue.
"Stop it, You're killing your own brother! He fell unconscious trying to protect you" I said despite the pain I felt. I tried to stand up, but I couldn't. Elina continued to sing as tears started to form on the edges of her eyes before they were freely falling down her cheeks as she continued to sing.
Ether's body glowed brighter and brighter until there was nothing left in his place. Elina stopped singing and cried loudly before turning towards me in anger with bright red eyes as she gathered her water power and directed it towards me.
I dodged the attack and moved aside before attacking her.
"Fire dragon's road" I said as I roared towards her, she dodged it, but I turned my head towards where she dodged and the roar hit her, sending her flying into the wall.
"How dare you!" she screamed as she started to sing, and I held my ears.
"Oh! So, me singing in high pitched sound is your weakness, is it?" she asked in a cold tone as she started to sing in an even more high-pitched sound.
"STOP" I screamed as I held my ears as the pain in my head increased and the ringing in my ears became unbearable. I fell to the floor, covering my ears, trying to block her voice. Her water magic enveloped me and started to drain me of my powers. I was getting weaker and weaker as her water magic drained me of my magic.
I tried to light my body on fire but no matter how hard I tried, I was unable to do so. Elina stopped singing and started laughing in a sinister way. I tried to get up as the pain had stopped since she stopped singing, but I felt completely weak.
"Hahaha! The mighty fire dragon has fallen weak against the siren" she said as water started to gather in front of her before taking the shape of a sword.
"Why don't I give you a faster death" she said as she aimed the sword at me.
I lit my body on fire but she started to sing once again, and the pain returned. I clutched my ears and closed my eyes as the sword flew towards me. I was once again unable to light my body on fire.
With closed eyes and pain making my head hurt, I waited for the water sword to pierce me, but instead I felt a body slam against me. I fell backwards due to the force and opened my eyes in shock to see Lucy looking at me as the water sword cut her back but didn't pierce through her.
"Luce!" I screamed as I held Lucy in my arms.
"Madam wants the girl alive! Can't have her dead" Elina muttered to herself as the water sword disappeared.
"Luce! are you alright?" I asked her and she smiled at me.
"Nothing I can't handle. Sorry for waking up so late" she said as she caressed my cheeks while looking into my eyes.
"Stay back celestial magic user" Elina said as she directed her water magic towards Lucy, but I sent my fire towards it, effectively canceling the attack. Seeing this, Elina started to sing again, making my head hurt. I covered my ears and bent down.
"Natsu?! Are you alright?" I heard Lucy say in worry as she put her hands on my shoulders.
"Lu-ce" I said as I tried to open my eyes but couldn't do anything as pain took over and I closed my eyes in pain.
"STOP IT" I heard Lucy scream at Elina.
"Star Dress! Aquarius" Lucy said and Elina stopped singing. I relaxed and opened my eyes to see Lucy standing in front of me as Elina stood opposite to her. Even though Lucy said she was alright, the water sword had pierced her deep enough to hurt her and blood to ooze out continuously.
"How can you use Aquarius's power when I have her key!" Elina shouted in shock.
"You're a celestial spirit mage?!" Lucy questioned, to which Elina snorted before she replied "Of course not, I'm a Siren" she said.
"Then why do you have Aquarius's key?" Lucy asked in confusion "So that no one but I can have the power to control water at my will" Elina said and shot a wave of water towards Lucy, I tried to stand but I felt weak.
Lucy created a water barrier around us and summoned Loke and Taurus. Loke and Taurus started attacking Elina.
"Natsu, are you alright?" Lucy asked as she bent down to me.
"I'm alright. I still have half of my power but I just feel so weak" I said as I smiled at her weakly.
"It might be because of her Siren magic" Lucy said and I nodded.
"Natsuuuu!" I heard Happy call my name and looked behind us to see Happy carrying Mira as he flew towards us.
"Let's get her" Mira said and we all nodded, ready to face the enemy.
