Bluey and Mackenzie, such a sweet loving couple, right? Well what happens when an author of a story decides to be a little evil and shake things up for the sake of drama? You'll find out here in this chapter!
"I don't understand Kenzie, I thought we promised we'd love each other forever. So how can you be telling me now, out of the blue, that you want to break up with me?" The 19-year-old Mackenzie thought of Bluey as he laid on his back in a puddle formed by rain. He allowed the rain the drench his body as a poor attempt to hide his tears, he could've gone inside his home, but he didn't want his own parents to see him either. What led to these events? Well, it's probably best to start at the very beginning.
Bluey and Mackenzie have been dating for a whole 2 years. Things weren't easy at first, especially since on the exact same day they started dating, Bluey was kidnapped. These events would be scary for everyone, especially Mackenzie who went so far as to bite and injure another dog's leg just to attempt to keep Bluey safe. All of that didn't matter anymore, by Bluey's determination to make it home, she would be found at the edge of the desert, taken to a hospital, and eventually brought back to her friends and family. Mackenzie had taken Bluey out on many dates and the two developed a strong deep love for each other, one that seemed to be as tough as diamonds.
This story begins on the average morning in Brisbane, Bluey and Muffin were running through the streets while Mackenzie happened to see them on his morning jog. Bluey was looking in every direction for something until Mackenzie managed to stop her for a second "Bluey!" he called out and managed to get her to turn around. "I'm impressed, so you out for a jog too?" He asked "Kenzie!" she said as she happily ran over to give him a hug "What a nice surprise to run into you like this, it makes me feel so very lucky!" she said as she nuzzled his chest. "Looks like you and I are meant to be together no matter what, huh Bluey?" he said with a smile on his face. "Oh, Kenzie…" he began to lean forward to give her a kiss before being interrupted by Muffin, who seemed a bit disgusted by the two's lovey-dovey behavior "Hey! It's way too early for that stuff! And Bluey, have you forgotten what's going on?!" Muffin said with an anxious look Bluey's eyes widened "Oh that's right! We have a problem, Socks has gone missing!" Bluey said, prompting Mackenzie to gasp lightly. The three began to run and look for Socks together "Do you think that she's alright?" Mackenzie asked. "I don't know, but let's hope so" Bluey responded. "At any rate, it's not safe for her to be out by herself, she is only fourteen!" Muffin stated.
Socks sat by herself on a swing in the local park, she had a sad look on her face. The other three had found her and watched her from a distance. "There she is" Bluey said with a concerned look on her face. "Stupid Mum…stupid dad" Socks said as she was sulking. "Socks, Why'd you run off? No one knew where you went, so we've all been really worried" Bluey said as she approached Socks from behind. "Leave me alone! Go away!" Socks said as she rubbed her eyes. Muffin noticed Socks had scraped her ankle and pointed it out to the other two "Looks like she was hurt" she whispered. Mackenzie looked at Muffin "Why is she so upset?" Muffin sighed "She had an argument with mum and dad" Mackenzie kneeled down next to Socks and smiled "Don't be sad" Socks had looked at Mackenzie, who extended his hand to her "We'll walk you home" Socks looked away then looked back with a light blush on her face as she took Mackenzie's hand. While this happened, Mackenzie noticed something, or someone yellow in the bushes who had seemed to be watching the group before they quickly retreated into a bush before Mackenzie could get a good look at them. "Kenzie?" Bluey called out to him to get his attention. "You okay?" she asked. He smiled at her "Yeah, I'm fine, everything's good" Socks had leaned into Mackenzie's chest with the same light blush that she had before, something Muffin seemed confused by.
Mackenzie was giving Socks a piggyback ride due to her injured ankle. "Socks, get down Bluey's boyfriend has carried you long enough!" Muffin demanded her younger sister. WHo only stuck her tongue out at Muffin "You're just jealous that someone is being nice to me!" Socks stated. Muffin rolled her eyes "What, are you nuts? Mum and Dad were being nice before you got into an argument with them! And that nice guy who's been carrying you- is Bluey's boyfriend!" Socks smirked at Muffin "Oh I get it, you just wish you had someone this cute carrying you around too!" Mackenzie and Bluey chuckled awkwardly while the two sisters argued with each other "You don't know what you're saying anyways,I want you to get this through your thick blue heeler skull" Muffin inhaled deeply "They're deeply in love with each other so don't even try to flirt with him, got it?" Muffin asked. Both Bluey and Mackenzie were blushing out of embarrassment at this point. "Just keep your small puppy paws off him!" Mackenzie laughed a little "Come on Muffin, let it go" he said as he didn't seem to mind "Seems like your sister is still pretty young and wants some attention" Bluey said. Muffin began to walk faster away from the other three. "Muffin, what's wrong?" Bluey asked. Muffin pouted as she walked away "Ooookay, those two can go and have fun, and while they're at it why don't they just go and get married?" Bluey began catching up with Muffin "Hey Muffin, what's gotten into you? What are you son angry about?" she asked her younger cousin. Muffin looked away from them "I'm not angry!" Muffin replied. "Typical Muffin behavior" Bluey thought as the group walked back to the Heeler house.
"Rock Socks, where were you?" Stripe had asked his younger daughter. "You can't go running off without telling someone. We've been looking everywhere for you!" Bandit added. "I'm sorry" Socks said, having calmed down from earlier. "Well, now we've found her and she's safe so everything's alright." Trixie said with a smile on her face. Stripe looked over at Mackenzie "Hey mate, haven't I seen you somewhere before?" Mackenzie quickly nodded "Uh hi, I live around here so probably, it's nice to see you again Bluey's uncle!" Socks smiled "Bluey's lucky to have such a cute boyfriend" This surprised Stripe "What was that?! He's your boyfriend?! Is that true Bluey?!" Bluey smiled awkwardly "Yes Uncle Stripe" Stripe seemed more protective over Bluey than Bandit usually would be. Mackenzie laughed awkwardly "Well, I was just in the middle of my morning run, so if you'[ll excuse me- I'll be on my way. Bye!" Mackenzie quickly jogged away from the house, while he was glad that Bandit was accepting of their relationship, he found it to be a bit odd that Stripe seemed quick to be protective over his niece, or maybe it was the fact that Socks had a small crush on him that made Stripe riled up, it didn't bother him much fortunately. "Wait! Hold on young man!" Come back here!" Stripe called out but to no avail. Bandit smiled and rolled his eyes "Stripe mate, give it a rest" Trixie leaned towards Bluey with a smile on her face "Bluey, you've got good taste, seems like he suits you!" Chilli smiled and leaned on her daughter "Next time bring him while your dad and uncle are out so Aunt Trixie can meet her future nephew-in-law" she winked at Bluey, who had blushed. "O-okay" Bluey responded. "Trixie! Our little Rock Socks can't be interested in people yet!" Stripe yelled. Trixie smiled and patted Stripe on his back "Oh stop being so dramatic love, it's just a boy" Stripe quickly looked at her "But our daughter's only fourteen!" Muffin walked over to Socks "Wow, dad sure is taking this hard, way to go Socks" Socks just looked at her older sister and groaned.
The family would go back into the house while the adults were talking about some plans they had later on "Right so the restaurant seems very nice, think Muffin would enjoy it?" Bandit asked his younger brother. Stripe shrugged "Well, so long as she doesnt have to get bored, every now and then she still acts like that little three year old we all loved in the past" he chuckled remembering how Muffin used to seem to be an embodiment of chaos as a toddler. "So Bluey isn't joining us?" Trixie asked Chill who shook her head "Oh no, Bluey said she wanted to just stay home and relax so I said I'd allow it as long as she keeps the doors locked this time and doesn't forget to double check all the locks" Trixie nodded "That's smart, well i'm sure she'd do lock them anyway, you don't just go through something like that and not think about keeping your doors locked after all" Chilli nodded in agreement. Bandit looked at Bluey as he took his glasses off "Right kiddo so repeat to me what's going to happen" Bluey nodded "Okay dad, everyone is going to a restaurant with nanna and grandpa bob for their wedding anniversary then you're all going to a hotel for the next three days." Bandit nodded, "And nanna said you should have time to yourself and enjoy it" he said. Bluey smiled at him "You sure I can't rent a few movies" Bandit laughed a bit "Not a chance, if you want to see a movie at home then just buy it" Bluey tried using her please face "But when I finish it I won't watch it again" Bandit tried to look away "Hey now, 5 bucks for a movie with a time limit may sound like a good idea, but buying it is much better" Bluey moved her eyes closer to Bandit's "But dad, 24 dollars is a bit much!" Bandit sighed as he reached for his wallet. Chilli quickly stopped him and smirked at Bluey "Come on kid, you have your allowance and you know dad is right" Bluey let out a small groan "Alright mum, I'll buy it" Chilli laughed a bit "Pretty cheeky of you" she kissed Bluey on the head and walked out towards the car. "See ya later kiddo" Stripe said as he walked towards his car with Trixie and their two daughters. Bluey would wave them both cars off then she would go back inside once they were out of view, closing the doors behind her and making sure they were locked, then she would make sure that any other entrance to the house was shut and locked as well.
Bluey then pulled out her phone and looked through her contacts, she had wanted to invite a few friends over but something changed her mind, she would then invite only a single person to her house. Bluey would send the text and it would only take around 30 minutes before she heard a knock on the door. She opened it to see Mackenzie holding 2 boxes of pizza "delivery" he said with a smile on his face. Bluey quickly grabbed the boxes "Sorry no tip!" she said as she quickly closed the door in Mackenzie's face and locked it. Mackenzie's eyes widened from the swift action "What?!" he said, still surprised from what just happened. Bluey then unlocked the door and opened it, laughing at Mackenzie's reaction as she allowed him to come in, this time closing and locking the door seriously. Mackenzie looked around "So where is anyone else?" Bluey looked at him and smiled "The others are nice and all but I just wanted it to be us" she blushed "I felt like we could have some quality time to ourselves" Mackenzie also began to blush and nodded. Bluey would turn the television on while Mackenzie sat down "Wait here, I'll get us something to drink" she quickly went to the kitchen for a few things. Mackenzie would grab the remote and start flipping through channels "Let's see if they have anything interesting on…" he thought.
He would manage to reach a program with a familiar looking beagle on screen "Hey wait…is that-" "Honey Huntress!" a voice from the television yelled "She's a beagle that has hunted and managed to kill many animals large and small all over the world!" It showed Honey chasing a rhino, then being chased by a few enraged emus, it would then transition to Honey standing atop a few animal carcasses "is this a show about a huntress or some kind of cheesy superhero show?" Mackenzie thought as Bluey returned with some cups and a bottle of soda "Hey, is that Honey?" she asked. Mackenzie nodded "It would seem so, never thought she'd be a hunter" he said as he grabbed a cup and a slice of pizza. Though Bluey didn't want to admit it, she was a little impressed with Honey before she would grab the remote and change the channel, there they would see another familiar face but the context for this would be a polar opposite of Honey's show. "INTERPOL DETECTIVE JEAN-LUC FOUND BEHEADED IN HIS CANADIAN HOME, HIS HEAD HAS NOT BEEN FOUND AND INVESTIGATIONS FOR A SUSPECT HAVE BEGUN" Bluey read the words that were on screen, she understood everything that it said, but she found it hard to believe "W-what?" she muttered. "Babe, I'm so sorry" Mackenzie said as he put his hand on her to comfort her. "Jean-Luc's dead…that can't be" Bluey said in complete disbelief. Mackenzie quickly changed the channel so she wouldn't have to hear any of the details. He expected Bluey to stay quiet for a while, but to his surprise she let out a long sigh then she perked up rather quickly. She leaned against Mackenzie as they watched a few movies and enjoyed each other's company as the day went on. They would chat until the moon was high in the sky and Mackenzie was getting ready to leave.
However once he stood up, he was quickly pulled down back onto the couch. He looked at Bluey who had turned the television off "Don't go…please" Mackenzie raised an eyebrow "Bluey?" Bluey shook her head "I know it's been a full two years since I was in the desert, and I know i locked the doors like my mum told me to, but I get scared when I'm alone" Mackenzie pulled her into a hug "Why do you get scared?" he asked. She leaned against him "Because sometimes I get scared that I'll open my eyes, and I'll be in that desert again, struggling to get back home, back to you" Mackenzie smiled softly "Alright babe, I'll stay with you tonight" Bluey's tail wagged as a blush formed on her face. "You should know, I do have another reason for wanting you to stay" she spoke with a calmer tone in her voice. Mackenzie could feel his pulse as Bluey pressed herself against him "And what would that be?" Bluey would slowly turn her head to look him in the eyes, something about her seemed different tonight but Mackenzie couldnt put his finger on it. Bluey grabbed his hand and stood up, then began to walk away from the couch, Mackenzie followed to avoid getting dragged. Without saying another word, Bluey would lead Mackenzie upstairs, Mackenzie simply smiled as he assumed they were going to the kitchen. He would become surprised when Bluey made a different turn leading him to her room "Wait, what is happening?" Mackenzie thought as he entered her room. Bluey smiled at him "You've never been in here have you?" she asked. He shook his head "Almost when you were missing, but Coco wouldn't let me come in, she said you might have something you didn't want me to see"
Bluey laughed softly then closed the door to her bedroom, then she led Mackenzie over to her bed. The two looked into each other's eyes for a few seconds "Kenzie, do you love me?" she asked as she placed her hand on his chest. The question confused him a bit but he smiled and blushed "Of course I do Bluey" Bluey leaned forward and whispered in his ear "I love you too" Mackenzie felt his heart race as Bluey gently lowered him onto his back, they would share a few kisses, which would turn into full-on making out. Though most of the process would be a little awkward due to both of them being first-timers, the two would share a life changing, very special moment together that would last for around thirty minutes, once everything was done they would kiss again then fall asleep in each other's arms.
The next morning, the two dogs would be covered in small bite marks from each other, light scratches, and sweat. The sunlight would reach into Bluey's room and wake Mackenzie up. He would smile at Bluey as he recognized her as his very special lover. "So last night really happened then? Sweet" he thought as he chuckled lightly. Bluey quickly looked at him, showing that she had been awake "What's so funny?" she asked. Mackenzie was a bit surprised but quickly shook his head "It's nothing, just admiring how beautiful you are" Bluey blushed lightly before she would stretch and quickly sit up "This is nice but you're a bit warm and I kinda want to shower after all of that" she winked at him then climbed over him to get out her bed. Mackenzie smiled and blushed as he also got up and decided to go to the kitchen, he was pretty thirsty after all that.
Mackenzie would happen to look out the kitchen window where he would spot someone in the Heeler's backyard, someone familiar who also happened to have been in the park the previous day. Without saying a word, Mackenzie would go downstairs and out the back door to confront him, he knew it was Chucky. Mackenzie would clear his throat while standing behind Chucky who hadn't noticed him. Chucky jumped then quickly turned to see Mackenzie while hiding something behind his back "What are you doing here?" Mackenzie asked. Chucky shrugged "I can ask you the same thing you know" Mackenzie smirked "That's none of your business, you however aren't allowed here" Chucky scowled at Mackenzie "Why don't you-" he stopped as something seemed to catch his interest, he began to sniff the air "What is that smell?" he moved a bit closer to Mackenzie. Mackenzie raised an eyebrow and backed away. Chucky continued to sniff a bit more "Why do you smell like Bluey…and sweat?" Mackenzie was bothered by the fact that he didn't decide to join Bluey in the shower, or at least use a different shower in the house. After a few seconds, Chucky had a wide grin on his face "You mean you…and Bluey?" Chucky began to laugh "Oh this is grand!" he said as he nearly stumbled over backwards. Mackenzie walked to Chucky and tried to turn him around "You had your laugh now beat it". Chucky immediately stopped laughing as he slashed Mackenzie's arm with something sharp. Mackenzie gasped as he flinched and pulled his arm back, he was cut by whatever Chucky had behind his back.
"You just helped me get a wonderful idea" Chucky said as he revealed a blade - the same blade Lila handed him before she was arrested. "You are going to hurt Bluey" Mackenzie's eyes widened "I would never, not even if you threatened my life!" Chucky grinned at Mackenzie "That's fine, but just know that you can't keep Bluey safe from me all the time" Mackenzie scowled at Chucky and grabbed him "You lay a hand on her and I will hurt you" Chucky brought the blade to Makenzie's arm "I have the knife here, and-" Mackenzie used his free hand to smack the knife out of Chucky's hand. Chucky seemed unphased "I'll just be blunt then, break up with Bluey, and I swear I won't hurt her" Mackenzie dropped the smaller yellow dog "I'll just tell her what you're doing" Chucky laughed "If you do, then I'll just go back to my original plans, what would you do then? Kill me? You'd be arrested. Tell the police I threatened her? You don't have any kind of evidence" Mackenzie snarled "I'm afraid you're out of options my Bluey-scented friend, if you tell anyone what we discussed here, I'll come after her with everything I have" Mackenzie clenched his fist "Why are you doing this? Is this still about your dad and Bingo after all these years?" Chucky nodded "That's exactly why. You see I've just been wondering about ways to cause Bluey a painful death, but once I got a hold of your…scent I came up with an even better idea" Mackenzie raised an eyebrow "Would that involve not being an annoying petty bitch?" Chucky laughed, "I like you!" once he stopped laughing he made a serious face "You're going to break things off with her, tell her you only lasted so long because you just wanted some tail from her, then leave her heartbroken"
Mackenzie grabbed the knife that he smacked out of Chucky's hand and handed it back to him "Please…I can't hurt Bluey…you're a horrid dog" Chucky grabbed the knife from Mackenzie's hand "I don't think you understand, there's no bargaining with me, I have nothing to lose. Even if I end up in prison, I'd go far enough to kill you, show your corpse to Bluey, and maybe kill her afterwards" he leaned forward and whispered in Mackenzie's ear "And if you hang around her too much, I'll get the idea that you told her what's we're talking about" he looked at Chucky "Fucking psycho! I could just-" "Hide her? You're right, but there's too many people that she cares about, it would be a shame if someone else ended up getting hurt because of her…or worse" he laughed as he began to walk away. Mackenzie's eyes widened, he felt completely helpless against the 17 year old labrador retriever, Chucky seemed to plan for every possible outcome. "Do you swear that you won't lay a finger on her?" Mackenzie asked. Chucky turned around and smiled "Only if you carry out your end of the deal. Mackenzie clenched his fist "If you hurt her…I'll do everything I can to make you pay" Chucky shrugged "Fine by me, I said I have nothing to lose anyway, by the way bring her outside when you tell her, so I can hear everything" Chucky went back into his own backyard and positioned himself against the wall so Bluey wouldn't be able to see him. Mackenzie began to cry, he had no other options and this was a problem that seemingly had no good outcomes.
Mackenzie would go back inside and wash the blood off his arm, he cursed himself for not staying inside the house and by every second he felt his anger growing stronger "Damn!" He wiped his tears "She may very well hate me for this, but this is a no win situation!" Mackenzie sat on the couch and waited for Bluey to get out of the shower. He knew Chucky would give him a very small time limit to be around Bluey, and Chucky was listening nearby. Mackenzie would walk back outside and wait for Bluey to inevitably join him.
"Kenzie!" Bluey would quickly approach him from behind and hug him "You're a bit smelly, but the shower's all yours now!" she said while giggling. Mackenzie's tail would wag, but he forced it to stop, then he would turn around and carefully push Bluey off of him "Stop it" he said. "Stop being so affectionate" he turned away from her. Bluey was a bit confused but she figured that he was probably a little groggy. "Oh, sorry…You're right, it is kinda early in the day…" Mackenzie sighed "That is not what I meant." Bluey raised an eyebrow "Huh?" she asked even more curious about what he meant. "It's more than that- I just don't feel that way about you anymore" he almost felt physically sick to his stomach uttering lies to her. Bluey's smile had grown smaller "W-what do you mean by that?" He quickly turned to her with an annoyed look on his face "It's over between you and me!" Bluey nearly froze upon hearing those words. Mackenzie would walk away from Bluey's home as she stood in place, trying to process what he just said. Chucky on the other hand had a satisfied smile on his face "Well played, I'm glad I don't have to hurt her now" he thought as he slowly and quietly crawled towards his home. Mackenzie would start to run towards his home, the only thing obstructing his vision was his tears.
Some time later Bluey was sitting with some of her friends "Mackenzie broke up with you?!" Chloe asked Bluey with complete shock in her voice. Bluey nodded silently "So what in the world happened?" Coco asked "I have no idea." Bluey responded. "Don't be sad. He didn't mean it. He was in a bad mood, that's all. Cheer up" Judo said, trying to make her feel better. "She's right, after all you two are a couple whose love formed when you were just kids" Coco said. "Here's a thought" Winnie said getting the attention of the other girls "It's possible Mackenzie was forcing himself to say that to you for your own sake." "What do you mean?" Judo asked. "Well, he cares for her. He probably wanted Bluey to have less stress…so he broke up with her to help…nevermind that's…pretty dumb" Winnie sighed. "Don't worry Bluey, Mackenzie truly loves you. You know that. He'd never wanna hurt you" Chloe said trying to reassure her. Bluey gave her alight smile and nodded "Thanks, Chloe"
Mackenzie was laying on his bed, staring up at the ceiling when his mother walked in the room "Would you like some steak dear?" Mackenzie shook his head "No thanks mum, I'm not very hungry" she looked at him with a curious look "You stayed out all night then you took a shower and came to bed, what were you up to?" He looked at her and gave her a nervous smile "I was practicing cricket, I have a bet with Snickers that I could beat Rusty at the game, but I'm not too confident about that" his mother rolled her eyes "Well…don't make bets if you aren't sure about them….or don't make any bets at all" she said as she walked away. Ten minutes would pass before he heard his parents talking to someone, the he heard knocking on his door.
He got out the bed and opened the door then gasped when he saw Bluey standing there. Bluey then entered his room and shut the door, Mackenzie leaned against the wall "Why did you come by?" he asked in a callous tone. Bluey kept her hand on the knob and faced the door "About earlier today, I'm sorry" she then turned and looked at Mackenzie with a smile on her face "I guess, I was kind of in my own world, so i must not have noticed you were in a bad mood." "that wasn't it at all" Mackenzie replied. "Huh?" Bluey said as she looked at him "I did it for myself, I just wanted to get some tail" "W-what do you mean?" Bluey asked. Mackenzie groaned "I meant what I said, I did it for myself. Besides I don't want to be with you anymore" Bluey could feel her heart breaking "But…why?" Mackenzie turned and looked at her "Bluey, you scare me. After last night I was worried about my safety, what if you killed me in my sleep?" Bluey's eyes began to water "You know I wouldn't! I love you!" Mackenzie growled at her "YOU LOVED BINGO TOO AND LOOK WHAT YOU DID TO HER!" Bluey gasped as her tears went down her cheeks. Mackenzie sighed "I….I need to go" Mackenzie said then began to walk away from Bluey. Bluey dropped to her knees "Why…" she quickly grabbed his tail "If this is about me being stressed, you should know you make me happy" she laughed softly. He pulled his tail away from her "You're not getting it. I want our relationship to be over with!" She stood up, and kept her eyes glued to the floor, still trying to keep her smile "But Kenzie…How can you expect me to believe that? After all, we both fell for each other in Calypso's class. We've been in love since we were children" Mackenzie punched the wall behind him "I'm so sick and tired of hearing that story! Just because all of that happened in the past, doesn't mean I have to be with you now! I don't-" as he turned his head to look at her, he grew silent as he looked into her eyes, despite the fact that she was still smiling, he could see the deep pain he was causing her. "Is there another girl you like? Kenzie could this be because…you like her more than me?" Mackenzie looked tot he floor "That's ridiculous…" "You're right, I'm sorry Kenzie…I'm sorry that you had to deal with me for so long." her voice was breaking as she spoke. She sniffled as she walked out of his room and closed the door. Mackenzie reached for her, he genuinely believed this was his only option to keep her safe. "Bluey…I'm sorry…" he closed his eyes as he tried to hold back his tears. Having heard the whole thing, Mackenzie's mother was in tears as well, she had sympathy for Bluey.
Bluey wandered aimlessly down a sidewalk for several minutes until she came across a rather large and lonely boulder, she walked behind it and sat down where nobody would see her, then she would begin to cry. "Mum…Aunt Trixie…I'm sorry, I won't be able to bring Kenzie home with me to visit anymore" she continued to cry, the only other time she felt this low was when she had lost her little sister.
After an hour or two it would begin to rain and Bluey would walk past a pub where she heard a few dogs talk amongst themselves, one of them happened to be drunk "H-hey look at her, she's cute" one of them said. One of them walked to Bluey then stopped "Your face looks so sad, you've been crying" Bluey looked up at the dog "Huh?" He smiled at her "You should go into the pub so you can drink your problems away" "Are you sure she's even 18 dude?" another dog asked. "Hold on" Bluey interrupted "Wait. Are you trying to tell me that if I drink then I can forget my problems with my boyfriend?" she asked. "Well if you're really having problems with your boyfriend then maybe you and him can share a few drinks and talk things out, eh?" The drunk dog smirked at Bluey "I…could be your boyfriend" Bluey ignored the drunk dog and looked at the others "Kenzie's not going to say that he loves me just because I suddenly decided to get a few drinks with him" "Oh yes! I'd say if you have a few drinks with him and your mood improves, your boyfriend will surely tell you he loves you, that's how all boys are!" Bluey wasn't in the mood to deal with these dogs any longer and just wanted to go home "YOU'RE WRONG! MY KENZIE ISN'T LIKE THAT! YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT HIM! AND IF YOU REALLY BELIEVE THAT STUFF, THEN YOU MUST BE STUPID! I DON'T WANT ANY OF YOUR SILLY ALCOHOL!"
The two sober dogs scoffed and walked away inside the pub, the drunk dog however grabbed Bluey's arm and prevented her from walking away "Hold it!" he said. "You don't think you can walk away after talking to my mates like that" Bluey was frightened "But I-" The drunk dog burped as he began pulling Bluey closer "Hold still you mouthy brat! Don't resist!" he chuckled at her "You won't forget your little Kenzie? Then I'll show you something that will help- in a nice dark alley!" Bluey had an idea of the dog's horrible intentions. The drunk dog began to forcibly lower Bluey's hand towards his crotch "You're going to get it!" Bluey tried with all her might to pull away "No!" she yelled. Someone would tackle the drunk from behind, causing him the slip on the ground that was wet from the rain, hit his head on the side of the pub and pass out. Bluey saw Mackenzie who was standing where the drunk dog stood, soon an officer approached the two but they didnt have to worry "Bluey? Mackenzie? What happened?" Jack asked while he managed to walk over to them dressed in a police uniform. Mackenzie sighed "This creep wanted to do unspeakable things to her" Jack groaned and put handcuffs on the unconscious dog. "You did good protecting your girlfriend" Mackenzie shook his head "Oh…we're not…together" Jack's eyes widened "W-WHAT?!" Bluey and Mackenzie looked away from each other and Mackenzie would begin to walk away "I didn't even know you were here Bluey, I may not love you anymore but you don't deserve for some creep to hurt you…farewell" Bluey quickly stood up "No, wait!" Mackenzie stopped walking "Kenzie- You were lying when you said you don't love me anymore right? After all you did come to my rescue" Mackenzie clenched his fist "Those are two different matters." Her eyes began to water again "Then please Kenzie… Please tell me. What's the reason you don't like me anymore?" Jack stood behind Bluey, still unable to believe what he was hearing. Mackenzie gritted his teeth "I don't like girls who are weak, farewell" he began to walk away again "Kenzie!" she reached towards him. "I'm sorry…Bluey" he said as he ignored her and continued to walk "Hey Bluey, I'll get you home safe so you don;t need to worry about any more creeps bothering you" Jack said. Bluey stood silently as she watched Mackenzie walk away "Bluey?" Jack tried getting her attention. "I understand Mackenzie, I just wish that you'd be honest with me, or that you would've told me from the start…" Bluey thought as she wiped her tears away.
Hours later as the rain continued to pour, Jack would arrive at Mackenzie's house, where he would find the border collie standing in the rain "What happened between you and Bluey?" Mackenzie shook his head "Don't worry about it" Jack sighed "Mackenzie…come on" Mackenzie glared at him "I…was just using Bluey" Jack raised an eyebrow "What do you mean?" Mackenzie smirked at Jack "I just wanted to get with her for her body…it was a long wait but it was worth it" Mackenzie's tail twitched. Jack groaned then quickly punched Mackenzie in his face, knocking him into a puddle "Jack-" Mackenzie said. "No! I don't know what's going on with you or why you think I have not known you long enough to tell when you're lying, but I will find out the truth eventually" Jack walked away.
Mackenzie thought of Bluey as he laid on his back in a puddle formed by rain. He allowed the rain to drench his body as a poor attempt to hide his tears, he could've gone inside his home, but he didn't want his own parents to see him either. He was in pain, not from Jack punching him, but from the fact that he hurt Bluey, and he hated every moment of it
Finally finished with this chapter! I apologize if you wanted that moment to be detailed, but I decided to make it boring and basic simply because it's something they've never experienced before now, and I didnt want it to distract from the plot. Also 95% of this chapter is heavily inspired by an episode of an old 90s anime, even the chapter title and a majority of the dialogue
Lucky has an effective strike against Bluey, and it is devastating to the poor blue heeler, where will things go from here? You'll just have to keep reading to find out!
