Chucky closed his eyes as he began to countdown "Ten…nine…eight…" Mackenzie attempted to close the door to lock it, but Chucky put his blade in between the door and the wall "seven…six" Mackenzie began to run. "...five…four…three…"He and Bluey ran to the front door, only to find the rear end of a car blocking it "READY OR NOT, HERE I COME!" he yelled "You did not think I would make it too easy, did you?!" Chucky laughed as he slowly approached them. "A bit disappointing that you'd make this too easy" "Chucky, come on…you don't need to do this!" Mackenzie yelled at him as he got in a defensive stance in front of Bluey. Chucky nodded "Of course I don't need to, but I certainly want to!" Mackenzie grabbed Bluey's hand and started to move away from Chucky. Chucky sighed "You know, if you leave her alone, you don't have to get hurt". Mackenzie frowned and shook his head "You heard what I told you last night, even if I die, you won't live long enough to hurt her!" Bluey gripped his hand and began to run past Chucky, jabbed towards her, but only managed to hit the air. "Good, very good" Chucky said as he followed after the couple.
As they managed to hide in a closet, they did their best to quietly catch their breath. Mackenzie's hands were trembling as he held the outward swinging door shut in case Chucky had managed to find where they were hiding. He found it a bit hard to stop panting as he knew Chucky could be anywhere in the house. Bluey put her hand over his, he would turn to look her in the eyes, she would then give him a warm smile. "It's okay to be scared" she whispered. He smiled back at her, having calmed down a bit "I don't care what he says, I won't leave you. Especially around him" he whispered back. "Bluey" Chucky called out to her in a singsong tone "I just want to help, you know…make you be a little less blue and maybe a bit more red…like the moon last night, it was so beautiful" he could be heard opening doors slowly as he wandered around the home. While his footsteps weren't too loud, Bluey and Mackenzie could tell how close he was when he wasn't opening doors.
Chucky had began to grow slightly irritated with there being so many doors, when he would then think of an idea to lure his prey out "Hey Bluey! I've been watching you! Seems like you start acting all weird when you're around fresh blood" Bluey's eyes widened as she heard him. Chucky laughed "If you come out you can have some. After all Mackenzie and I both have plenty!" Mackenzie turned around to see Bluey breathing faster "Bluey?" he asked. Bluey moved back from Mackenzie "He's…he's just trying to get me…" she told herself. After a few more minutes of silence Chucky smirked. Bluey struggled but had managed to suppress her violent urges, this was something that she had to get through if she didn't want to endanger herself any further. She let out a deep breath, calming herself down "I'm okay" she told Mackenzie. Mackenzie smiled at her then nodded. "A closet? Isn't it a bit cramped in there?" Chucky asked, his shadow visible on the floor outside where the two were at. With all her might, Bluey would twist the door knob and whisper to Mackenzie "On the count of three, ram the door with all your might" Mackenzie nodded, ready to do what Bluey asked of him as she stuck her fingers up "One…two…" Chucky moved closer to the door, preparing to open it until the door quickly swung outward, hitting him in the face and sending him backwards onto his back.
Despite getting thrown by the force of the two dogs, Chucky managed to keep a tight grip on the blade. The two then bolted towards the stairs a s Chucky rose to his feet, now angered by the sudden pain he felt in his face "That…hurt!" he growled as he began to pursue them faster. "This place isn't very big, and I can just keep at this all day. Just as Chucky turned a corner, Mackenzie would tackle him to the floor and try to reach for the blade "Stop…being…crazy!" he yelled as Chucky had managed to barely keep it out of his reach "Give…me…Bluey!" he said as he managed to use his legs and throw Mackenzie off of him "You are really starting to annoy me border collie!" Mackenzie smirked as he stood up "Good, you can leave anytime!" Chucky laughed as he looked around. "You two are very easy" he said "Bluey! If you leave then you will only come back home to find a dead Mackenzie! You would have nobody to blame but yourself then"
"Down here you little yellow creep!" Bluey yelled from down the stairs. "Bluey no!" Mackenzie yelled before Chucky would shove him against a wall. Almost instantly, Mackenzie would repay the favor and shove Chucky down the stairs, causing him to let go of Lila's blade as the momentum would send it elsewhere. Once Chucky managed to stop himself he felt pain in his lip and saw some blood, he then turned "After I get rid of her, you will be next, you could have just left but now I am angry" Mackenzie however followed after him "No knife this time!" Mackenzie yelled before Chucky quickly recovered and went toward Bluey, "That's not a knife" he said while pulling out the old kitchen knife "This is a knife!" he finished saying as he pointed it to her "This one has more significance to be anyway" he said with a smirk. "And why would that be Chucky?" Bluey asked as she walked away. "Glad you asked" he said as he held the knife in front of his face. "I was going to tell you anyway, this is the very same knife that my dad used to kill himself with all those years ago!" Bluey became unsettled as Chucky approached her. "It just feels right you know. It was used because of you…now it will be used on you"
Bluey continued to back away "Chucky…I can;t take back what happened all those years ago, i would if I could . but there are other ways to settle this" Chucky growled "I DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANY OTHER WAYS BLUEY, I JUST WANT TO AVENGE MY FATHER AND TO AVENGE BINGO" Mackenzie looked at him confused "What does Bingo have to do with this?" Chucky laughed "I will put it to you like this, I felt the same way about Bingo that you do about Bluey" Mackenzie raised an eyebrow "How could you possibly process those kinds of emotions when you were only five?" Chucky shrugged "The same way you could when you were only seven!" He turned around to see that Bluey had quickly vanished then he smirked "So now you decide to make it fun?" he looked around before walking around and hearing a door close "I will find you" Mackenzie panicked before he would follow where Chucky went. Chucky opened the door and smiled before he would charge into the room "FOUND YOU!" Mackenzie sprinted as fast as he could. Once he entered the room he felt his heart skip a beat once he saw Chucky's kitchen knife plunged into something blue. "Bluey?!" Chucky growled as he pulled his knife out and tossed it on the ground in front of Mackenzie. Before him was a blanket that was almost the exact same color as Bluey's fur, except now it was leaking cotton. Bluey had managed to position it to where it looked like her if someone was not paying close attention, which Chucky had not been doing "Clever girl" Chucky said as he walked out thee room.
Mackenzie would punch Chucky, and make him fall to the ground, Chucky would quickly turn and glare at him. "You did not think i would make it too easy, did you?" Mackenzie said, throwing Chucky's previous statement back at him. Chucky got up and smirked "Fine, once I have your corpse, luring Bluey out will be much easier-" He was interrupted by another punch from Mackenzie, this time to the face. Had it not been from the door earlier, Chucky would shrug it off but he was still a bit sore and yelled in pain before his anger would quickly grow "I'LL MAKE YOU SUFFER!" he said as he began to try to stab the border collie. Mackenzie would throw another punch to Chucky's gut before sprinting back towards the backyard door. Chucky began to chase him until he heard Bluey whistle behind him "Hey Chuck, I am over here!" Chucky grinned, stopped chasing Mackenzie then turned his attention back to Bluey, who quickly backed away into her playroom.
Once he was inside, Bluey would trip him, sending him into some of Bluey and Bingo's old toys. "Just how many times have I fallen today?" he thought. He struggled to get up due to the various toys that were scattered on the floor, some were almost piercing him, some were rolling and making it harder to get up "What the hell is this?!" he asked as he slowly struggled. Bluey giggled at the struggling dog "Clearly you've never had a daddy robot!" Chucky looked at her "Clearly I've never caused a father to resort to suicide either" Bluey sighed as she quickly moved to the other side of the room, avoiding her toys since she was used to doing so as a child and watching Chucky try to approach her with his knife. She managed to get to the side of a bookshelf and began to tilt it in his direction. His would quickly stretch out his arms and brace for impact before he would catch it and smile at her "Nice try, but it will take more than that to-" Mackenzie used Chilli's hockey stick to pull both of Chucky's legs backwards, causing him to fall forwards, hit his head on the bookshelf, and for the bookshelf to collapse on him. "I was not done with you!" Mackenzie yelled at Chucky. He would run over to Bluey and pull her away before Chucky would recover "I don't think he will stay down for long-" "Oh of course I won't, this doesn't even hurt!" Chucky said from under a mountain of books. Mackenzie quickly ran with Bluey upstairs "Wait, we can go to the backyard and escape!" Bluey said, mackenzie shook his head "Not yet, I have a plan that will hopefully bring an end to all of this"
The two entered Bandit's study while Bluey looked at him concerned "You don't mean you are going to kill him, do you?" Mackenzie smiled at her "You are so thoughtful, even of people who are trying to kill you, but don't worry I don't want to kill him anyway" Bluey smiled at him while he looked around Bandit's study "This place is giving more ideas, but let's see how things turn out" Chucky knocked on the door with his knife "Bluey? Mackenzie? You two aren't enjoying each other's bodies in there are you? I'd hate to interrupt!" he said with a sarcastic tone. Mackenzie smirked "Why don't you come see and find out?" Chucky scoffed "No, you open the door, I have had enough surprises for one day" Bluey laughed "You can not kill me if you don't come in" Chucky laughed "And you can't do anything important unless you come out" Mackenzie sighed "Tell you what Chucky, I'll let you in, but you need to deal with me first" after a few seconds of silence, Chucky laughed again "Alright, the last thing you will hear will be Bluey begging you to save her!" Mackenzie growled at the thought. Bluey grabbed his hand and looked at him "He won't get you" Mackenzie nodded then opened the door. Almost instantly, Chucky tried to stab Mackenzie once the door opened, he grab Chucky's arm and pull him forward, making Chucky lose his balance once again, however Chucky would manage to get a cut on Mackenzie's arm. Mackenzie winced from the pain. Chucky growled as he moved closer to Maackenzie before Bluey would ram into him with Bandit's yoga ball, causing him to hit the wall behind him. "Come on Chucky, this is a waste of time, and you aren't very good at this" Mackenzie said as he and Bluey backed away towards the door. Chucky punched the ground as he let out a loud yell. "JUST DIE ALREADY!" he yelled as he quickly got up
Bluey and Mackenzie would run back downstairs, and head towards the backyard. Chucky, having already fallen down the stairs once would be careful in chasing them down and sprinting after them. Chucky saw Bluey, who looked at him fearfully "HAVING FUN BLUEY?!" he was focused only on Bluey and the knife that he wanted to plunge into her chest, at this point he was focused on stabbing her multiple times. Due to his tunnel vision, he hadn't focused on the fact that Bluey wasn't trying to run, or that he did not see Mackenziee anymore. If he did, he would've seen a small plastic car, too small for Bluey to fit into anymore being pushed by Mackenzie. With enough effort, mackenzie would manage to run into Chucky long before he could reach Bluey, the shape of the fake vehicle and the speed of which it traveled was enough to send Chucky flying in the air and cause him to let go of his knife. He would plummet back to the ground with enough force to cause something in his body to make a loud cracking sound, he would lay there for a few solid seconds as the pain traveled through his body. "Ooh, that does not sound good at all" Bluey said, a bit concerned. "Oh don't worry about me" Chucky said as he slowly sat up "What I'm going to do to you is much worse when-" his eyes widened when he realized his knife was under Mackenzie's foot. "No…more…knives" Mackenzie said. Chucky laughed at them "How is it this troublesome just to kill two dogs? Just two?!"
He stood up and held his ribs for a few seconds before he yelled again and sprinted towards Bluey "I'LL BEAT YOU TO DEATH!" Bluey flinched before Mackenzie would step in the way and grab Chucky away from Bluey "I said…I won't let you hurt her!" Chucky would punch Macenzie in his chest "I WILL START WITH YOU! I WILL GET REVENGE FOR YOU PUSHING ME DOWN THE STAIRS!" Mackenzie rolled his eyes "Could have been avoided if you did NOT try killing Bluey" Lucky threw another punch at him, but Macenzie would manage to dodge it. "Bluey, there's no way to avoid a fight with him now" Mackenzie said to Bluey who nodded. The two would trade a few blows, Mackenzie would aim for Chucky's chest, while Chucky would aim for Mackenzie's head and neck, anything that would bring him to an advantage. While they were fighting, Bluey would manage to grab Chucky's knife and sneak around the two. "Why? Why do you have so much energy?!" Chucky asked, he was panting and trying to deliver a serious blow, while Mackenzie had done more blocking and was trying to wear him down "Clearly, you have not been around us border collies, we have crazy energy sometimes!" he said as he shoved the younger dog backwards, almost knocking him to the ground. Chucky spit out some blood and growled "Oh, I am really going to enjoy killing you!"
Bluey had managed to reach the tree in her backyard without being noticed by Chucky, she would then begin to cut on the ropes that held her old swing up. "Please don't be mad at me Bingo, but I need to help him!" she thought. Once she finished cutting one of the ropes, the swing would slam into the side of the tree, drawing Chucky's attention. Mackenzie would take the opportunity to grab Chucky and throw him into the trampoline. Chucky would jump out and try running to Bluey, but Mackenzie would catch up to Chucky, he was not moving as fast as he had been earlier and Mackenzie would cause him to stumble over Chilli's fish pond. He would avoid falling into the pond but he couldn't catch his balance before running into a plastic flamingo and landing face first into Bluey's inflatable pool. Bluey would finish cutting the second rope on the swing while Chucky weakly pushed himself up. "Chucky, is it even worth this much trouble and pain?" Mackenzie asked. Chucky gasped for air as he begun to stand up "You don't understand it, I had to grow up without dad. Mum was always at work to make up for the change in income, Lucky was busy with his friends, nobody was there to help me when I was being bullied! Nobody was there to see my accomplishments and achievements! NOBODY WAS THERE TO CHEER ME ON! AND THE MURDERER NEVER GOT PUNISHED FOR HER OWN ACTIONS!" Chucky yelled as his anger had granted him more adrenaline. "Chucky, i'm sorry for the way your life went, but you can't hold me responsible for everything bad that happened!" Bluey said as she dropped the knife at the tree trunk. "I CAN AND WILL, YOU DIE TODAY BLUEY!"
Chucky made one more mad dash towards Bluey before he felt the plastic car from earlier at his back again, this time he was stuck to the roof of it until it stopped moving, Mackenzie would suddenly pull it back, the momentum would send Chucky flying into the tree in front of him. Before he could get up Mackenzie would grab the kitchen knife and toss it into Lucky's yard "No!" Chucky said as he watched. "Chucky, consider what I told you last night" Mackenzie said as Bluey began walking towards the door "I'm only doing this because you can still turn your life around" Chucky grabbed onto Bluey's leg and bit her. Bluey gasped trying to get away "S-stop that!" Chucky shook his head, making the bite hurt more. Bluey growled and brought turned then slammed the remains of the swing onto Chucky's head, causing it to break into two and forcing Chucky to let go. Bluey moved away "Chucky, if you keep going at this rate you will die!" Bluey told him out of concern. "As long as you suffer, I'll be fine!" he said as he reached for something. Mackenzie's eyes widened as Chucky pulled out Lila's blade "Where did you find that?" he asked. Chucky smiled and lunged at Bluey, knocking her down and holding the knife above her "Tell Bingo that Chucky and Lila have avenged her!" Chucky raised the blade and got ready to lower it into the scared blue heeler "I WIN" he said as he tried to plunge it into Bluey's chest. Mackenzie jumped towards the two while Bluey closed her eyes. She opened them a few seconds later only to see another arm grabbing onto Chucky's "Let me go!" Chucky yelled. Bluey turned her head to see Lucky, who was pulling Chucky off Bluey. Mackenzie quickly grabbed Bluey and pulled her into a tight hug, he was trying not to stop trembling.
Lucky threw Chucky away from Bluey "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Chucky yelled at his brother. "I can ask you the same!" Lucky responded as he managed to wrestle the blade away. "I'm trying to avenge dad! Remember dad? The dog you clearly don't love?!" Lucky slapped his brother "SHUT UP!" Lucky surprised the other three dogs with his outburst. Lucky had tears in his eyes as he looked at his little brother "I am SO tired of you acting like I didn't love dad, of course I loved him!" Chucky groaned "Then why don't you help me?" Lucky sighed "Because it is not what he would want you idiot!" Judo walked in alongside Lila, who was wearing a green prison jumpsuit "Lila? W-what's she doing here?" Chucky asked. Lila smiled nervously at everyone else "It's a temporary release and I'm here because of your brother" Chucky looked at Lucky confused "What?" Lucky nodded "Look, as your older brother, I had to save you from yourself" "What do you mean?" Chucky asked. Lucky sighed "Come on mate, I couldn't let you kill someone. We have both already lost enough for one lifetime" Chucky growled until he saw his brother crying "I lost dad, mum lost dad, you lost dad, mum and I wouldn't be able to take it if we lost you as well, we love you!" Lila nodded "I…wanted Bluey to die too, but I started having doubts when…a friend had to stab his best friend" she sighed "Then we got into an argument and it ended with me killing him" her hands were trembling as she remembered the unfortunate events that led to the deaths of both Jaspers. Chucky looked surprised "Then why did you give me your knife? Wasn't all of this your way of telling me to kill Bluey?!" Lila's eyes widened "NO! I knew I was screwed and going to get arrested so I gave you the knife to get rid of or have something to remember me by!" she sighed "I…I'm sick of all the deaths, I don't even know where the knife came from to begin with!" Bluey looked at her confused "How did you get it?" Lila shrugged "It was mailed to me with no return sender. But Chucky, Lucky told me you were about to cross a line you wouldn't be able to come back from, as someone else who cares about you I agreed to talk to you"
Chucky looked at Lucky who nodded "I have to admit something I'm not proud of" he sighed "For the first year after dad died, I also felt some form of hate towards Bluey" Bluey was shocked and saddened to hear this "Then why did you stay around her?" Judo asked, confused. "I told you, I was also responsible, and I hated myself more than I hated her. It took a while, but I knew it was wrong to stay mad about it, after all she lost someone precious to her too" Lucky said. "Bingo was my best friend, and I still miss her every single day, but we have to move forward in our lives Chuck" Lila said to Chucky. "Please…please don't make mum feel any more heartache…don't make me go through the same pain that Bluey's been strong enough to face" Lucky said as he stood up. Chucky began to tear up "But…everything I've been through…" Lucky nodded "I know I haven't been the best brother, I never tried seeing if things bothered or worried you, and I never asked for you opinion, but I promise that if you find it in your heart to forgive Bluey, and forgive me, things will get better" Chucky began to sob "How do I know you're not lying?" "I told you yesterday-" Mackenzie said, still holding Bluey close to him "-You're a very smart guy, you just need to change and things will become more positive" Lucky nodded "He's right, dad would want that for you" Chucky looked at him "You mean, dad was willing to kill you, and you can still defend him?" Lucky nodded "He loved me enough to not kill me, I'm still sad over how things ended, but we can't go back turn back the hands of time" Chucky looked at Bluey "I know killing you wouldn't have fixed anything…wouldn't have brought Bingo or dad back…" "Chucky?" Bluey said before he could finish "I really am sorry Chucky, I'm so sorry your dad is gone" Chucky began to cry harder "I'm sorry….I tried so hard…and caused Mackenzie to break up with you…" Bluey moved away from Mackenzie and gave Chucky a hug as he bawled his eyes out and hugged her back.
Once Chucky had managed to calm down he tossed Lila's blade into a waste bin "But…what do I do now?" Mackenzie chuckled "See Chucky? This is why I tried convincing you last night, you need to find your own path" Chucky shook his head "How?" Lila walked next to him and placed a kiss on his cheek "One thing you could do, is wait for me? I shouldn't take much longer" Chucky blushed lightly and nodded. Lila and Judo began to walk away "Alright, let's get you back so you can keep working on your good behavior" Judo told the smaller dog. "Why did you care?" Chucky asked Mackenzie "I did everything I thought of to hurt Bluey, so why?" Mackenzie smiled "Because you're not a bad dog, you just need to heal from your pain, and stop causing pain to others, you'll find a reason to live" he looked where Judo and Lila were walking "Alongside having someone to love" he said before he nuzzled Bluey. Lucky had stared at the ground in silence getting Chucky's attention "What's wrong bro? Aren't you happy?" Lucky looked at him then smiled "Oh yeah, I am glad that I have finally gotten through to you" Chucky then raised an eyebrow "So wha has gotten you distracted?" Lucky shrugged "What Lila said, that someone mailed her those knives and that there was no return address" Mackenzie thought about it "That is very odd, and what that implies is almost scary" Lucky looked at him a bit concerned "Someone knows where Lila lives, and they gave her those…but why?" Chucky shrugged "I am feeling pretty tired today, I got body slammed into a wall, had a bookcase dropped on me, and got thrown by a car twice" Lucky looked at Bluey confused "A car? He doesnt mean the one that was blocking your door does he?" Bluey giggled "No he means pedley" she pointed at the old plastic car that was not missing a wheel. "I moved the truck from in front of your home, I'll help clean up your home" Lucky said. Bluey shook her head "No need, we will cover it from here" Lucky raised an eyebrow "You sure? This is technically my mess too" Bluey nodded "You need to spend time with your brother, have some nice bonding time" she then looked at Mackenzie "Me and him will get everything done just fine" mackenzie smiled and nodded "Yeah, you enjoy your brother's company" Lucky smiled "Yeah, righto" Lucky said as he began to walk towards his yard "Lucky wait!" Chucky said. Lucky turned towards him "A little help? I've done me hammy" Lucky laughed and went to Chucky "We're both dad's sons huh?" The two would walk back to their yard together "Oh also…take a shower, don't need mum worrying about all this blood on ya" Chucky nodded "Yeah, yeah"
"Today has been pretty wild" Mackenzie said as he began to walk back inside the house. Bluey followed then looked around the house "Sheesh, looks like a tornado passed through this place" Mackenzie laughed at the sight "Well…I had to do whatever I could to stop him" he sighed as he thought about everything "It's scary you know" Bluey raised and eyebrow "What is?" she asked. His hand shook a bit "I told him that I'd kill him before he could kill you, I was so willing to do anything. I think even if he had killed you, i would've killed him" Bluey pulled him into a kiss "Let's just be glad it didn't come to that" Mackenzie nodded "I was just so scared of losing you, I didn't give his life much thought" She shook her head "You tried to persuade him to let it go, seems to me that you gave it quite a bit of thought" Mackenzie smiled then picked Bluey up and quickly placed Bluey on the couch and proceeded to walk to the kitchen "Where are you going?" she asked. "To get some popcorn, I feel like a movie after all of that" Bluey smiled and rolled her eyes. She then noticed something out the corner of her eye, once she turned she saw Chucky, now free of his own blood, who was standing at the window with a huge grin and the kitchen knife from before in his hand. "Hi Bluey" he said as he stared at her. Bluey looked a bit nervous as she walked over to the window "Chucky? I-is everything okay?" Chucky shook his head "I got rid of Lucky, now you're next!" Bluey gasped "W-what?!" Chucky quickly burst into laughter "Sorry, sorry, I'm messing with you" Bluey let out a sigh of relief "Then, can I help you?" Chucky shook his head again "I just wanted to apologize again" he sighed "I know I was being immature and unfair to you, I just hope that we can be friends" Bluey smiled "Of course we can! If Lucky's ever over, then you're welcome to join him! And who knows, you might be able to make some friends" Chucky smiled "Thanks, Bluey" he said as he walked back to his home.
"Thank goodness that was a joke, I don't know what to do if he wanted another fight" Mackenzie said carrying a bowl of popcorn over to the couch. "Aww, did the widdle puppy get hurt?" Bluey teased. He rolled his eyes "It did not hurt, besides it was easy, like jumping from one sheep to another" Bluey looked at him a bit confused but shrugged "That's not really comparable, but either way, we don't jump on sheep Mackenzie" Mackenzie raised an eyebrow "Really?" Bluey had turned the tv on, the news channel was on first "HAIR STYLISTS CONFUSED AS SHAVED-OFF RED HEELER FUR GOES MISSING" Bluey flipped through the channels until they caught a movie. It would end up being pointless as the two would just chat with each other while eating their popcorn, and eventually they'd start to clean the inside of the house together.
With that we end another chapter, I hope you all enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed typing it up. I basically had Chucky fight the entire Heeler house itself! Who would've guessed that Bluey and Mackenzie would use various things around the house to beat Chucky down? I will admit having the entire chapter take place in a single location did create an interesting challenge. It was going to end differently (No, not Chucky dying, I never wanted him to die) but I decided to save the plot point for later. Anyways, I appreciate your attention and hope that you continue reading!
Instead of a preview, I will give a not-so-helpful hint about who will have a major role forafuture chapter: This character has only appeared in two episodes, according to their wiki page.
