It didn't matter how fast Ollie tried getting into the Emergency Room, because she would still feel herself coming far too late. The deal had been sealed the very instant Risu accepted those small, inconsequential snacks from Ollie. Unbeknownst to the latter, they were laden with a lethal poison intended to kill whoever ingested it within no latter than an hour. Kureiji Ollie's senpai, Ayunda Risu, had just eaten these toxic treats at her kouhai's request, and just as soon was she lying on her death bed, barely able to keep herself conscious. At that same instant, the hyperactive zombie was now feeling as if everything would be better off if she was left dead.

Ollie was running as fast as she could, not even caring if one of her legs would fall off because of it. She shot her body though the building like a bullet, down the slickly clean hallways scented with a hospital's sterile aroma, getting more and more anxious as all around her remained silent aside from herself. She knew in which room Risu was in, stopping in her tracks only once to find this out, and she felt the room's door pull itself away from her even when she was just a dozen steps left to seeing Risu. The door was already open, and Ollie's panic was only matured once she saw Risu lying in the bed with a light-blue hospital gown on. The squirrel's eyes shined with life once more as she saw the zombie slowly approach her before kneeling down towards her at the side of the bed.

"Ah, Ollie! It's you! So good to see you!"

"Risu! Oh my god! I'm so sorry!"

"Oh, don't worry about it. You didn't know what you were doing."

"I could've! I could've known where I got them! I could've known that things like these are out there! I could've prevented this!"

"No, you couldn't. I'm just as much of a fool as you are for eating them. Besides, you didn't mean to do anything wrong."

"But I don't want to lose you! Not like this! I can't lose you like this!"

"Ollie, I know it's hard to believe that this was even possible, but it's proven itself to be possible since it just happened. Wouldn't that be easier for you to accept?"

"Well, it's easier than- it's easier than losing you! Why is this even happening!? Oh god, why!?"

"It could've just happened. I just told you, didn't I?"

"Y-yes, you did..."

"It's going to be okay."

Ollie then resigned herself to simply crying with her eyes tightly sealed, reaching out her hand to hold onto Risu's. They both gripped onto each other with no intent on letting go. The final few minutes they shared together were the longest in both of their respective lives. Ollie got Risu to mutter out a few more words before the end, and the latter made sure to say as much as possible with the little time she has left. Finally, thanks to Ollie being by her side, Risu committed her last bit of consciousness just keeping that big, warm smile on her face, managing to get it to stay even after it was over.

Risu was now dead because of Ollie's Nuts.
