Waking up to the sound of her alarm going off first thing Monday morning, Penelope Garcia-Morgan rolled onto her back as she reached over and hit the stop button. Opening her eyes, she glanced over at her very handsome husband, Derek Morgan, still sleeping beside her. They had been married for ten years, had two amazing kids together, and Penelope felt like the luckiest woman alive. She would never trade the life or the family they shared for anything.

" Derek... It's time to wake up." She purrs into his ear as she nibbles and gently sucks on the tip of his earlobe as she smirks slightly knowing it would get him up. She gasps as she quickly felt him moving and had her on her back once again.

Derek captured her lips with his as he kisses her more passionately and deeply as he pressed his body down against hers as he continued to kiss her hard and groans softly against her lips before letting go." What did I tell you about waking me up like that?"

Whatever, you know that you love the way I wake you up," Penelope answered with a smirk as she leaned up and kissed him passionately and deeply, causing her to groan against his lips as she broke their kiss. "Now, I need a shower, and you need to make breakfast for the kids so they can get ready for school."

Derek huffed out as he nodded his head."I'm on it." He said as he got up and out of bed and grabbed a shirt, pulling it over his head before walking out of their room, heading towards the girls' room to wake them up for school.

Penelope couldn't help but smile widely as she watched him walk out of their room. She then turned toward the closet and began searching for a dress to wear to work today. After browsing through her options, Penelope finally settled on a light blue dress with polka dots.

Walking into their bathroom and closing the door behind her, Penelope pulled back the shower curtain and turned on the knob of the shower head. While she waited for the water to warm up, which only took about five minutes, Penelope took this time to quickly brush her hair. Once she was done and had set her brush down, Penelope got undressed and stepped into the shower as soon as the warm water hit her body.

Twenty minutes later after she dried off and got dressed Penelope walked back into their room to grab her things. As she grabbed her work phone along with her personal phone, she heard a ding coming from her personal phone. Looking down she noticed she got a text from an unknown number. Without even opening the message, she quickly deleted it before joining her family for breakfast.

Stepping out of the elevator, Penelope turned her attention to her husband. "I am going to go get some coffee and I will meet you and the rest of the team at the bullpen," she said as she kissed him quickly before heading towards the break room.

As Derek watched her walk away from him, he couldn't shake the feeling something wasn't right with her. She barely said anything during breakfast earlier and while dropping the kids off at school and driving to work, Penelope was quiet. This only meant one thing; something must have happened and she's not telling him. But he already had a feeling he might already know what it was.

As Derek approached the break room, he spotted Penelope sitting on one of the couches. With both hands, he gently placed them on her shoulders."Hey, is everything okay?" he asked with concern and worry in his voice.

Penelope sighed deeply as she set her coffee mug down before turning to face him. "I got a text this morning from an unknown number," she whispered.

" What? Penelope, why didn't you say anything?"

" Because I didn't even read it, I just deleted the text. Besides I refuse to let one text message ruin my day." Penelope said as she leans up and kisses him gently on his lips." You shouldn't either." She said as she playfully poked him in his chest.

Derek grabbed her hand."Hey," he said seriously, "the next time you get a text from an unknown number, you need to let me know."

Penelope nodded her head slightly. "Of course," she said, turning around and grabbing her coffee mug.

You don't think the text came from him, do you? Derek asked, unable to help but wonder if his ex had tried to reach out to her again. He'd done it once before, just before their wedding day, ten years ago.

Penelope shook her head as she took a sip of her coffee."No, I don't." She said. "Besides, I blocked his number for a reason."Just a few days before Penelope and Derek got married, Penelope received a text message from her ex-boyfriend begging her to take him back. When Penelope refused to, he started to send her threatening text messages. So she had his number blocked from her phone and hasn't heard from him since.

" Let's just hope that's not him, because I would hate for him to get hurt." Derek said with a smirk even though he was serious. If Penelope's ex was the one who started texting her after these years, Derek Morgan will have no problem with hurting him. Derek will do anything to protect his baby girl.

Penelope smiles as she leans up and kisses him deeply and passionately. "I love you, Derek Morgan."

Derek smirked against her lips as he placed both hands against her face before he kissed her more deeply. He gently sucked on her bottom lip. "I love you too, Penelope Garcia-Morgan," he said as he took her hand and they both walked out of the break room to meet up with the rest of the team.
