Author Note: Hello, here is a short story about my favorite ship. It's a shame that there isn't more about these two, but I said to myself, "If no one else will do it, then I'll just do it myself". I'm not a native speaker, and I'm taking the risk of not getting a beta reader for this one. So, feel free to give me review/advice on whatever is good or bad.
A Happy Married Life
Somewhere in the Japanese countryside, the sun was rising. Sunlight streamed through a window of a modest but well-built brick house, illuminating a now bright bedroom. The distinctive sound of rustling sheets could be heard from a double bed. A man with disheveled ebony hair yawned, waking up from his peaceful slumber. His eyes opened, only to be met by two magnificent amber orbs next to him, belonging to his beautiful silver-haired wife. Mélusine.
He just smiled, enjoying these precious daily moments. It had been a good time now that they were both married, and he never got tired of seeing her beautiful smiling face every day.
"Did you sleep well, Ritsu?" the silver-haired beauty asked her husband, tilting her head in a cute little way. Her lustrous hair fell to the other side of her face as she moved.
"With you by my side? Always." He cupped her left cheek affectionately.
She let out a soft purr, delighted to feel the warmth of his hand. Her eyes were sparkling with emotion as she returned the gesture in kind. Both captivated by each other.
"You've always had a way with words, haven't you?"
She carefully moved her face closer to his, until only a few inches separated them.
"Mél..." Ritsuka whispered tenderly under his breath as they closed the distance between them. The newlyweds got lost in their own private moment as their lips moved in harmony against each other.
She straddled him without breaking their kiss for even a single second. The engaged couple, in the throes of passion, were obviously in the mood for even more. The distinct sounds of wet kisses and the creaking of the bed filled the room, as neither of them could keep their hands off of their lover. Kissing, caressing and rubbing their bodies together, they suddenly broke their kiss, out of breath.
"Mél..."
"Ritsu..."
The lovers just stared at each other, knowing exactly what their partner desired. They positioned themselves, their bodies at a perfect angle, wanting even more than just kissing.
"Are you ready?" Mélusine asked him, her blushing face flashing a dazzling smile.
Ritsuka reached out to her face, pulling her in a gentle kiss.
"Whatever you are."
They both giggled quietly, preparing themselves to go even further in their lovemaking. However, just as their bodies were about to become one, distant screams could be heard. The two lovers had a wry smile on their faces, and with that, their time of pleasure came to an end.
"I guess we'll have to put that off until next time," the silver-haired woman admitted, somewhat reluctantly.
"So it seems." Her husband scratched the back of his head with a slight sigh.
The two of them were ready to get off of each other, but not before they shared one last kiss.
As the silver head rose from their bed, Ritsuka couldn't help but admire her. Her nightgown barely covered her entire body, stopping only mid-thighs. Even though they had been together for several years, he still couldn't get over her ethereal beauty, nor would he ever want to.
"Are you coming?"
Ritsuka blinked as her wife pulled him out of his thoughts.
"Y-yeah! Let me just a moment."
Mélusine grinned playfully. She knew him only too well and was aware of his ogling. It always delighted her to feel her husband staring at her and her alone.
As she walked out of their room, the black-haired man sighed contentedly and collected his thoughts for a moment.
Such a peaceful life. No more fighting, no more death, no more worries. It's hard to believe it was almost the end of the world two years ago. All of that time at Chaldea seemed so far away now. So much had happened since then.
Finally, Ritsuka got out of the bed and went to where his wife had gone. When he reached his destination and saw this breathtaking sight, he realized that he couldn't have been more right. Yes, a lot had happened.
Mélusine was carrying their precious child in her arms. Love, tenderness, and serenity in her kind eyes. The lovely scene was glowing by the sunlight. An authentic heavenly scenery.
When his beloved heard a noise, she turned around and saw her husband leaning against the threshold of the door.
"Mélodie seems asleep again," her wife informed him as she gently rocked their baby.
"I see."
"Do you want to hold her?"
He smiled as he was making his way toward her.
Mélodie. Their daughter. She was four months old. A rare crossbreed between a human and a dragon. Except for a tail and her unnaturally shaped iris, no other draconic traits have shown up yet. She has beautiful blue eyes and silky silver hair. An angel, truly.
Mélusine, from her side, fell into a deep thought as she smilingly watched her husband with their child. For her, these last few years had been the paradise that she had always longed to live in. No more Alien-God, no more Chaldea, no more worries about everything. Ritsuka didn't have to risk his life anymore, although she would never let anything happen to him anyway.
Yes. Their lives had gone through a lot in the last two years, but to tell it all would be a story for another time.
Author Note: I hope you enjoyed it. If so, maybe I will continue with some short stories of their daily life, whether it's about their new life or in the past in Chaldea. It likely won't be in chronological order, though.
See you.
