Sigh, this so called afterlife is quite bad as well. I mean, I'm forced to watch my last moments in a repetitive cycle. Talk to friends on my phone, eat a banana, throw it, go to sleep, wake up due to dehydration, slip on the banana, crash my skull into the corner of a table, die from slowly and painfully bleeding out.

I even get phantom pains from seeing the injury.

Well, I think I should make a plan.

From what I remember, 「V??oid Fiend』had a thing called 『V??oid Co??rruption】, which was basically a transformation.

At 100% corruption, you would transform into a pitch black being, basically the Void but in a human form.

The 「V??oid Fiend』also had 2 skills, well, 4 if you count the Corrupted version as a different one.

Drown is a long range slow moving beam that deals 300% damage. Corrupted Drown was, as well, a long range slow moving beam, but it deals 2000% damage.

Flood was a plasma projectile, best described as a plasma bomb. Long range, could be charged. At no charging, it deals 600% damage, but when charged, it deals 1100% damage and an explosive effect.

Corrupted Flood needs no charging, deals 1100% damage, and a bigger radius of explosion.

Well, considering I don't have enough 『V??oid Co??rruption】, I only have 68% right now, I can't use the Corrupted skills. This means I can't actually make use of the Explosion from Flood. Well, I can, but I'd need a bit of charging.

Maybe I can charge without the enemies noticing? Maybe hide it so they won't know, use it on the ground to propulse myself in the air, so I can rain down Drown on them from the sky. No, that wouldn't work. I would probably die from fall damage and the Flood explosion damage.

You do take damage from the Flood explosion.

Well, I could propulse myself and the enemies, just not in the air. Maybe I could release it on the ground, so it would propulse us in different directions, where I could rain Drown on them.

"How much you reckon we can sell this specimen for, boss?"

"I reckon about 1 million yen. Maybe even more, who knows?" the one that I assumed was the boss spoke in a greedy tone.

Too bad for them that I had other plans. I started charging my Flood in secret, but they noticed a glowing light in my hands.

"Hey boss, what's that light on the specimens hand?" one of them asked.

Too bad. I threw it at the ground, which threw all of us into different directions. I was thrown in the Northern direction, one in the Southern direction, and one in the Eastern direction.

The one from the Eastern direction immediately rushed at me without saying another word, while I checked the cooldown of Flood. Maybe I could go with my first plan, but on a smaller scale.

If I could be thrown in the trees, I could be safe to rain down Drown. 4 more seconds of cooldown.

I noticed the one from the Eastern direction coming towards me, so I raised my hand to use Drown. Apparently, Drown was much stronger than originally thought. It was strong enough to pierce through the man's chest, which obviously must've hurt like hell, if the scream of agony was anything to go by.

The guy from the Southern direction took advantage of me being in a bad spot, as he took off running towards me with a pocket knife.

He had actually gotten close. I was too busy looking at my Flood's cooldown, that I had not seen him. Too bad for him that I had gotten 100% 『V??oid Co??rruption】.

He would've killed me if I had gotten it even 1 second late. Well, the transformation gives you 100 durability, so you can tell that the knife he used bent out of proportions.

I wanted to use Corrupted Flood to distance myself from him, but one look at my HP was enough to make me reconsider.

HP : 70/200

I would've probably died had I used Corrupted Flood there. Good thing I checked my HP.

Well, I decided to see how much stronger Corrupted Drown was to the normal Drown.

Oh boy. It was like the Sun and Moon; both very similar, but oh so different.

I melted through the poor man's head faster than a 1000 degree celcius butter knife sliced though butter.

In just a few milliseconds, I had erased this man's head from existence, never to be seen again.

Since I was now out of danger, I decided to look at the notifications which I had ignored throughout the massacre.

Corruption Mastery has leveled up by 1!

Hm. Quite interesting. Gacha Tokens would be to roll the Gacha, if I haven't turned brain dead.

Class Tokens are to get a class, of course. 1000 yen is, well, yen, of course.

What are the "EXP Orbs"?

The EXP Orbs give EXP according to the tier of the Orb. The one you got will give a third of an EXP bar.

There are 8 tiers.

Very small

Small

Small-Medium

Medium

Medium-Big

Big

Big-Huge

Huge.

I have said what the Very Small ones do. The small ones give half of an EXP bar, Small-Medium is 75% of an EXP bar, Medium is an entire level, Medium-Big is 1.5 levels, Big is 2 levels, Big-Huge is 3 levels, and the Huge one is 5 levels.

These will be the only way to level up when you get a big numbers such as 1000, since they require a ton of EXP.

Ah, that's nice to know. Then, I will keep them until I get to that level.

"Skills" I said, wanting to check my skills, of course.

Gamer's Mind (Max Level) (Active) :

Allows the user to stay calm in all situations.

Allows the user to be unable to suffer mental attacks.

Gamer's Body (Max Level) (Active) :

The user will have a full STA, HP, MN, and VC after waking up from an 8 hour nap/sleep.

『V??oid Co??rruption】(Level 1) (Not Active) :

The user will undergo a transformation when the VC bar is full. The transformation gives an upgrade to all Void-Related skills and gives a bonus of 100 DUR when active. The user will also be able to phase through reality, due to him being a creature that doesn't abide by the rules of the world.

Flood (Level 1) :

Fire off a Plasma bomb. Can be charged.

When it's not charged, it will be a 600% damage bomb that doesn't actually explode. At max charge, it will deal 1100% damage and gives off a big explosion.

Corrupted Flood (Level 1) :

Fire off a stronger Flood that doesn't need to be charged and gives off a bigger explosion.

Drown (Level 1) :

Fire off a slow moving long range plasma beam. Deals 300% damage, and is a tick dealer. Deals 13 ticks per second.

Corrupted Drown (Level 1) :

Same as Drown, but deals 2000% damage and does 17 ticks per second.

Corruption Mastery (Level 2) (Active) :

Control your corruption! Allows you to stay in the Corrupted Form for longer, and allows you to choose when to transform (Level 50 Requirement).

Huh. I did not know Drown was this overpowered. Well, good to know.

Time to use my Gacha Token. Harper, how do I use it?

Just think of opening the Token with a key.
