From The Future To 1942

Harriet Jasmine Potter also known as Phoenix which was a nickname that her godfather, Sirius Black had given her which only a trusted few knew of the nickname. It had been a while since she had entered the British Magical World. As soon as she had entered; she felt some sort of spell being casted but she had never heard of it or this person was probably miscasting a spell.
1942 in England...
"Is she dead?" A male voice questioned.
"No, I think she's just unconscious." Another male voice said.
"How did she get here?" A female voice said.
"Is she a spy or an ally?" A Commanding voice said.
Harriet started opening her eyes and noticed three men and a woman looking down at her.
"Who are you?" A Commanding voice asked.
"Last I checked, My name was Phoenix Jasmine Potter unless someone kidnapped me and secretly forced me to marry them." Harriet said going by her nickname.
The three men and the woman looked horrified by her answer.
"Ma'am, we did no such thing." A male answered.
"Okay, because if you did; I am sure my godfather who is like an overprotective father to me would kick your asses." Phoenix said.
"I assume someone may have that before?" Another male questioned.
"Yes, and he paid dearly for it because my godfather brought of his lawyers down on his ass." Phoenix said.
"Ma'am, you have a British accent mixed with an American accent." The Commanding voice said.
"That's because I was born and raised in Britain but I secretly spent summers with my godfather in America. However, may I ask who you all are?" Phoenix said her fully opened.
"I am Howard Stark and this is Colonel Phillips, Captain Steve Rogers, and Agent Peggy Carter." The male said.
They watched as Phoenix's eyes went wide for a moment then she fainted from shock.
"She fainted?" Steve said shocked.
"Yes, but it was only by mention of Howard's, Steve's, and your name, Peggy?" Phillips said.
"Papà, non gli piacerà." Phoenix said coming around.
"She speaks Italian?" Peggy questioned.
Phoenix realized that she had spoken in which she and her godfather/father did sometimes when they were talking with each other.
"How come you speak Italian, Phoenix?" Howard asked curiously.
"My Godfather who is like a father to me is an Italian-American and sometimes we speak Italian to have private conversations between us." Phoenix answered.
"Well that comes in handy." Phillips said.
"It does and in the line of work that I do; learning all foreign languages is required." Phoenix said.
"And just what is that, Ma'am?" Steve asked curiously.
Phoenix smiled and said, "Like Agent Carter; I work for the government but I personally answer to the Queen Mum herself because she asked me to."
Peggy Carter was shocked and then said, "You couldn't be MI6's top Agent, could you?"
Phillips, Howard, and Steve looked at Peggy confused for a moment or two.
Phoenix smiled and looked at Peggy and said, "The one and only."
Phillips, Howard, and Steve were shocked to hear this; while Peggy had to ask, "How does your godfather feel about you doing something so dangerous?"
"To be honest, he didn't like it at first but then he got over it when I promised him that I would let him know that I was okay. I actually gave my godfather a code name that only he knew so if my letters were ever intercepted no one would know who I was writing to." Phoenix answered.
"Moments ago when you spoke Italian; what did you say?" Phillips asked.
"I said, Dad wasn't going to like this. You see my godfather is like an overprotective father and he is still not comfortable with the fact that I do dangerous things in my line of work but he can longer complain about it because he does dangerous things now as well." Phoenix said.
"May I ask what you're wearing?" Peggy asked.
"My clothes." Phoenix said sarcastically.
Steve blushed at that.
"I think what Peggy means is the style of your clothes because woman don't exactly wear that style of clothing." Howard said.
Phoenix blinked for a moment and then looked at what she was wearing. She sighed and said with smile, "He always wants to make sure I am safe; although, I didn't exactly expect him to design this. Now, I kind of understand why some of my clothes felt strange."
Steve blinked and said, "Your godfather, messed with your clothes?"
"Well, he's technically an engineer/inventor and CEO of his family's company. I just didn't realize that he would go such lengths to keep me safe." Phoenix said.
Peggy smiled and said, "Even though, he's your godfather; he must think of you as a daughter and you probably think of him like a dad."
Phoenix nodded and said, "Especially, after what he went through what he did."
"If you don't mind me asking, Phoenix? What exactly did your godfather go through?" Howard asked curiously.
"Well, my godfather that my deceased father chose had to endure prison time for something that he didn't do. While the godfather that I considered my father now; had to endure being captured by terrorists for three months. During that time he had to endure being operated to get shrapnel out that was close to his heart in a cave and being waterboarded as what was keeping him alive at the time was a magnet hooked to a car battery. Considering, he was a civilian. " Phoenix said
Peggy gasped in shock.
Howard, Steve, and Phillips were completely shocked.
"To me, that is heroic because he never gave up and he was intelligent enough to keep what he was doing to keep himself and let his captors know what he was up to." Phoenix said with a smile.
Meanwhile, back in the future...
Tony began to worry because his goddaughter had went to London and hadn't contacted him. He knew that she would be okay but he couldn't help but worry; even though he knew still had to continue with the Expo.
"Tony, are you okay?" Pepper asked.
"I'm just worried about Nix, Pepper." Tony said.
Pepper blinked for a moment then smiled and said, "Tony, you're acting like a father."
Tony looked at Pepper in shock and said, "You're right, Pepper. I am actually acting like her father. Heck, I would even let take the Stark name as well as keep the Potter name as well. So smote be!"
Suddenly a flash of light happened and Pepper was terrified for Tony because his arc reactor glowed bright blue that was in his chest.
Back in 1942 England...
Phoenix was sitting there still answering the questions that Howard, Peggy, Steve, and Phillips was asking when her necklace started glowing that her godfather had made her and only she could hear Tony's voice:
"You're right, Pepper. I am actually acting like her father. Heck, I would even let take the Stark name as well as keep the Potter name as well. So smote be!"
Howard, Steve, and Peggy along with Phillips watched as a unique blue light engulfed Phoenix for about thirty minutes.
"What the hell just happened, Howard?" Phillips questioned.
"I don't know, but it seems that the light that has engulfed Phoenix is somehow protecting her or it's doing something on its own." Howard said.
"Will she be okay?" Steve asked curiously.
"I don't know, Steve." Howard said.
"Howard, do we know where this light came from?" Peggy asked.
"No, but I do have a wild theory." Howard said.
"Tell us, what that theory is, Howard!" Phillips demanded.
"Well in theory, it's possible that Phoenix and her godfather that lives in America share a very strong bond as if they were really father and daughter." Howard suggested.
Suddenly, they heard Phoenix say, "I accept what my godfather wishes. So smote it be!" while she was still in the blue light.
The blue light died down but when it did; Steve, Howard, Phillips, and Peggy were shocked by the highlights that now appeared in Phoenix's dark brown almost black hair. The highlights almost resembled flames of fire. Her eyes were now a mixture of emerald green and Amber brown. Those were only a few minor changes that they had noticed.
"Um...Phoenix?" Steve said.
Phoenix looked at Steve and said, "Yes?"
"Your clothes seemed to have changed a bit." Steve stated.
Phoenix looked down to see what Steve was saying and she was completely stunned because it had been a design that she had been working on that mimicked her godfather 's now turned father 's suit but in cloth form instead of the metal form of his suit. Then she said, "I hadn't exactly expected that."
"What do you mean?" Peggy asked.
"Well, I designed this and it based off something that my father had designed but I had planned to keep working on it unless dad found the design." Phoenix said.
"But how did it get here?" Howard asked curiously.
Before Phoenix could answer several men entered the room. Immediately, Phoenix recognized one of them.
"Who are you?" Phillips asked.
"My name is Albus Dumbledore and I detected magi..." Dumbledore didn't finish his sentence as a fist connected to his jaw.
The other wizards were shocked that this mysterious woman had just punched Albus Dumbledore. Newt Scamander was there and he was shocked.
Howard, Steve, Phillips, and Peggy were stunned by Phoenix's reaction towards the man that she had just punched.
"Miss, why did you punch Albus Dumbledore?" One wizard asked curiously.
Phoenix looked at him and recognized him as Charlus Potter and said, "Well, he reminded me of someone who betrayed my family. "
"Oh?" Charlus said, "My name is Charlus Potter and may I ask your name, miss?"
Phoenix looked at him and said, "My name is Phoenix Potter. I live New York with my godfather who recently took the role of being my father. Before that we lived in Malibu, California. Before you ask, Mr. Potter there's a possibility that we're distantly related."
"How did you know that I was going to ask that?" Charlus questioned.
"A wild guess or merely powers of observation. I usually pulled that on my godfather but I call him Dad. So, he likes to joke that I read too many Sherlock Holmes stories." Phoenix shrugged.
Peggy and Howard laughed at that.
Dumbledore cleared his throat and said, "I'm afraid we'll have to..." Before Albus Dumbledore could finish his sentence again; a fist connected to his jaw again.
"Miss, will you please stop doing that?" Another male wizard said.
"You touch Howard Stark, Captain Steve, Agent Peggy Carter, and Colonel Phillips; and I'll make sure that the Queen herself knows just idiotic the British Magical Community had become when it comes to their allies!" Phoenix warned.
"You're a squib, we aren't afraid of you!" Another male wizard said.
"No, sir! I'm the Queen's Witch and I work in MI6 which his British Intelligence!" Phoenix stated, "And I take offense that you would automatically assume that I'm a squib. It just goes show that you're an idiot. "
Peggy's eyes went wide at hearing that. She had heard rumors that there was a woman known as the 'Queen's Witch'.
The wizards were shocked to hear that this woman who is possibly distantly related to Charlus Potter was working for the Queen of England herself and MI6.
Charlus Potter looked at Phoenix and said, "I know that you said that you are the 'Queen's Witch ' but working with British Intel as well?"
"Let's just say that I live a dangerous life and it's an adventure in itself." Phoenix said in sarcastically amused tone.
"Miss, you have a strong fist which isn't very ladylike." Dumbledore said.
Phoenix looked at Dumbledore and said, "Being a goddaughter of an American Billionaire and CEO of a great company has it dangers; my godfather along with his girlfriend insisted that I learn self defense. Which means that I could easily make sure that you couldn't have any children of your own. You will not touch these people unless you want a boxed jaw and a broken nose, sir."
Charlus couldn't shake this feeling that this young woman hated Albus Dumbledore for some reason.
"Before you all barged in here, we were still interrogating Miss Potter to find out if she was an ally or enemy." Phillips said suddenly.
"Then we will ask the questions." Albus said.
Phoenix glared at Dumbledore.
"I don't think Phoenix likes you, Albus." Another wizard said.
Phillips, Howard, Steve, and Peggy even were aware that Phoenix didn't like this guy, Albus Dumbledore when she had punched him the first time as well as the second time.
"Phoenix?" Charlus said.
Phoenix looked at Charlus and said, "Yes?"
"Since your last name is Potte..." Phoenix cut Charlus off by saying, "Mr. Potter, before you and the others barged in; magic accepted my godfather's wish to become my father in which I now also hold the last name of my godfather as well. Which I will not reveal at this time because chaos would insue, may be."
"What do you mean, Phoenix?" Steve questioned.
Phoenix laughed and said, "I'm sure that Mr. Howard Stark has probably figure it out by the clothes that I was wearing that I wasn't from here."
Howard blinked because Phoenix had just called him smart in front of everyone.
Everyone looked at Howard to confirm what Phoenix had said.
"Well, her style of clothing is different from ours; plus, I have feeling that Phoenix doesn't realize that she in an ally base camp or she would have said so." Howard said, "With that being said, it's possible that she was in a mission and one of our guys brought here."
Phoenix seemed confused at first.
"But that doesn't exactly explain the magic that was preformed because we thought hat it was coming from Grinwald's army of witches and wizards." A wizard said.
Phoenix blinked for a moment to it register at what the wizard had just said then fainted with a loud thud.
"Damn! The poor girl faints again! This makes what the second time she's fainted?!" Phillips said.
"Sir, I think she fainted at hearing the name Grinwald." Steve said.
"But why did she faint at the mention of his name?" A scrawny looking wizard asked.
"Now, that's a good question, Newt. I am also curious about her neckl..." Dumbledore trailed off as he got punched a third time causing to go backwards.
"Don't touch my necklace, you old goat!" Phoenix said opening her eyes immediately, "You damn asshole!"
Back in the Future...
Tony and Pepper had continued on with the Expo. However, Pepper took pictures for Phoenix so she could see what she had missed.
Tony sighed and was complete mess worrying about Phoenix but he knew that goddaughter now turned daughter would want to continue on until she returned from wherever she was.
"Tony?" Pepper said.
"Yeah, Pep?" Tony said.
"Do you remember when Phoenix explained the Magical World to us?" Pepper asked.
Tony nodded.
"You recalled when she told us about what happened in her third year at Hogwarts?" Pepper said.
"Yeah, she had used a time turner with that Hermione girl to save Sirius Black who was completely innocent. Why?" Tony said.
"Well, I also recall Phoenix telling us that with the luck that she has that trouble always seems to find her or something always seems to happen to her somehow?" Pepper said.
"I recall her saying that as well, Pep." Tony stated.
"Well, what if...and I am just taking a wild guess here, Tony. But what if as soon as Phoenix into the Magical World of Britain that something happened." Pepper suggested.
Tony looked at Pepper and said, "Pepper, are you suggesting that someone from there did something to Nix?"
"Maybe but I'm not sure, Tony." Pepper said.
"Well, I wonder if we can find out from the Magical Community here in USA; or do you think that they would get in touch with us?" Tony said.
"I don't know, Tony." Pepper said.
"Well, I guess we can only hope, Pep." Tony said.
"Also, Tony when you said that you said that Phoenix could keep the Potter name and you would even let her share the Stark name followed by the words 'So smote it be'; there was a flash from your arch reactor." Pepper said.
Tony blinked at hearing that and said, "I wonder?"
Suddenly, Jarvis spoke, "Sir, there appears to be a man by the name of Bill Weaseley with his wife here and he says that it's urgent that he speaks with you."
Both Pepper and Tony looked at each other for a moment then Tony said, "Let him come in, Jarvis but keep an eye on him."
"Yes, sir."
Pepper and Tony sat down on the sofa and waited for this Bill Weaseley.
Moments later, a redheaded man with a blonde haired woman came into the living room or as Phoenix had called it 'the parlor' and said, "Mr. Stark, my name is Bill Weaseley and this is my wife, Fleur Weaseley and we are friends of Harriet."
"Pleasure to meet you, I suppose but what brings you here?" Tony asked curiously.
"Both Fleur and I work for the Wizarding Bank known as Gringotts." Bill said.
Tony and Pepper nodded understanding.
"Well, apparently Harriet was emancipated at age fourteen in the eyes of Lady Magic herself because she was forced to participate in the Tri-Wizard Tournament. However, she was fifteen; we assumed that she returned to the Dursleys. But she went somewhere else in London. " Bill stated.
Tony chuckled as he began to realize something.
"Mr. Stark, what is funny?" Fleur asked curiously.
"Just so you know, Harriet goes by Phoenix or Nix now. Since she didn't exactly want anyone to know where she was she was pulling a stealthy situation on all of you for sometime." Tony said.
"What do you mean, sir?" Bill questioned.
Pepper laughed.
Tony smiled and said, "Phoenix was visiting me, Pepper, and Happy at my London flat; but while she was there I had her catch up on required non Magical schooling incase she didn't want a job in the Magical World. However, after your Second Magical War though; Her Majesty, the Queen of England did in fact ask Phoenix to become her Witch personally considering Phoenix informed her of what was going on in the Magical part of her kingdom."
"You mean that 'Arriet informed the Queen of England about Lord Voldemort?!" Fleur said in surprise.
"Yes, she did." Tony said.
"That's also when she asked us for our opinion on her working for the Queen directly and we told her that it was her decision; but Tony supplied her with her technology for the job." Pepper stated.
"But magic and muggle technology don't work well with each other." Bill said.
"Well, Phoenix and I fixed that problem." Tony said.
So they continued talking for while.
Back in 1942 England...
The wizards looked to see that the young woman known as Phoenix had come around apparently and she definitely mad at Dumbledore for some reason to hit the same jaw three times already.
"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE, YOU STUPID OLD MAN?! IF YOU DARE TOUCH ME OR ANYTHING OF MINE; YOU'LL REGRET IT! THEY DON'T CALL ME, FIREY PHOENIX FOR NOTHING!" Phoenix yelled at Dumbledore.
Everyone was completely stunned as they watched flames swirl around Phoenix.
Newt was simply amazed at Phoenix's magic because it was like flames roiling off her. The color of her magic was the colors of a Phoenix along with a with mixture of blues, golds, and reds.
"Wow." was all Steve could say when he saw the colors appearing before his eyes.
Howard, Phillips, and Peggy had to agree with Steve on that. Then they looked at the wizards who were in awe as well.
Albus looked at the young woman and had never seen magic act like that considering that there was muggle technology around but her magic wasn't affecting it at all. He wondered how this was possible.
"Amazing!" Charlus said as the magic rolled off of Phoenix.
"This isn't possible?" Another wizard looking at Phoenix.
Suddenly, Howard asked, "Phoenix, does magic usually appear like it does around you?"
Phoenix looked at Howard with a smile and said, "Dad asked me the same thing once. I told him that I hadn't really thought about but it could be just my magic that does it. Why do you ask, Mr. Stark?"
"Call me curious, I guess. I suppose you call your godfather, Dad now but how did he handle the fact that you had magic?" Howard asked curiously.
Steve, Phillips, and Peggy as well as the wizards wanted to know as well considering that Phoenix's father probably didn't have magic.
Phoenix chuckled as she recalled Tony's reaction to her doing magic and then answered, "He simply said that magic was science that non magicals didn't understand yet bit he also said that there were some similarities between some of the magical classes and non Magical classes."
"What do you mean, Miss Phoenix?" Newt asked curiously.
"Well, potions for example is like a version of non Magical cooking as well as chemistry and physics." Phoenix stated.
"That's preposterous!" A wizard said.
Phoenix just shook her head.
They continued talking about the similarities and differences about magic and non magic classes for a while or least until Phillips demanded that the wizards leave or become allies in fighting against Hitler.
Time Skip
Germany 1942...
Steve was literally upset that he was merely being used as a publicity stunt for the war bonds. He had enlisted to fight in the war and he definitely wanted to go after those who killed the doctor that gave him the gift of the super soldier serum.
However, when he heard about his best friend, James 'Bucky' Barnes and his company; he immediately wanted to go rescue them; but Phillips wouldn't hear of it.
Phoenix and Peggy had heard the entire conversation between Captain Rogers and Colonel Phillips. They both knew how determined Steve was going to be in order to rescue those men especially Sargent Barnes because he was like a brother to Steve.
[Author's Note: This is my first try at Harry Potter and Avengers Crossover involving a female Harry Potter and Captain Steve Rogers aka Captain America. Please let me know how you like it and possibly let me know what you like to happen next. Also let me know if I started this story out okay or do I need to fix this first chapter before continuing. ]
