The sun and heat had been consuming Tree Hill for two weeks now.

A heat wave that still seemed to not be ending even though it was September now.

The Scott family found themselves at their pool. School was let out early. Because of the heat.

The family had been eating some sort of take out since it was too hot to cook.

Lucas laid out the snacks they had picked out to enjoy by the water.

Paul and Carter were playing water sports in the pool.

Once she was finished covering Dawn in sunscreen.

She let her go from her arms. (Stay away from the deep end.) Brooke advised.
