Biography:

Hank Heshaw could have qualified for a Pioneer of the Stars had his life not taken a dark turn because of an accident. He, his fiancee and his two best friends manned experimental ship Excalibur into a research test past Earth's atmosphere. As they returned to Earth, the ship was bombarded with cosmic rays from a storm; the experience granted them all fantastic powers, but unlike another quartet, they were deadly gifts from nature.

One of Henshaw's friends was turned into a rocky behemoth constantly in pain. Another was transformed into an irradiated being on the verge of bursting. His beloved Terri began fading from existence. All three died, and Hank himself shifted into a bioelectric presence downloading himself into machinery. He blamed Superman, who tried to save Excalibur from crashing.

Henshaw was believed dead for years, but returned after Superman was thought to be slain by the alien Doomsday. He contacted Superman's Kryptonian gestation matrix, learned all of Kal-El's secrets and traits, and forged himself a duplicate body modelled after Kal-El's. Passing himself for a revived Superman, the Cyborg fooled mankind and tried to supplant it by a new reign of living computers, starting with Coast City, Green Lantern's hometown. This in turn drove Hal Jordan insane, into the genocidal Parallax.

Thwarted, the Cyborg came back over and over to plague Clark Kent, finally joining the Sinestro Corps. By now he had degenerated into even more of a nihilist, growing tired of his life. He was annihilated once more, but not enough for his taste, a small piece of him drifting off into open space.

Class Skills:

Avenger: A

A Class Skill of the Avenger class, representing the state of an Avenger as one that gathers people's hatreds and grudges onto oneself. It is easier for one to accumulate hatred and resentment. The rate of mana generation becomes higher when receiving damage.

He is consumed by hatred and grudges towards man. Happiness angers him as he won't ever feel the love and friendship he once enjoyed. He targets symbols of hope and enjoys crushing them. If left alone he might sulk in silence for a time, but he will scheme again eventually.

Mana Replenishment: A

One's magical energy endlessly surges until their revenge is accomplished. Recovers a minuscule amount of magical energy every turn.

Avenger supplies himself with mana by syphoning it from the environment and terraforming it into a metallic landscape. The procedure is akin to living industrializing generating fuel for him on a steady basis. It ties in with his hatred and contempt for human life; were not because the Alien God's goals are also anathema for him he would join its cause and aid to destroy human history.

Oblivion Correction: A

Another Class Skill of the Avenger class. People are creatures that forget many things, but an Avenger never forgets. The critical effect of Avengers who attack from beyond one's memory is strengthened.

Data banks of Avenger's past enterprises and how the Kryptonian interfered with each are kept, then replayed obsessively. The Servant will not let go of this irrational hatred, even when soothed by the Master.

Personal Skills:

Scientific Genius: A

While he lacks both Territory Creation and Item Creation, Henshaw is a genius scientist with several doctorates, and has not forgotten any of his academic knowledge. In addition, he gathered technological data from cultures across the universe, including Krypton and Apokolips. He has vast theorical education on manned space flight, engineering, aerodynamics, radiation, telecommunications, robotics and physics.

Kryptonian Physiology: A+

As he gained his abilities from Kal-El's birth matrix, Avenger shares most of his unique physical traits. He is near invulnerable, super strong, and faster than a speeding bullet. His only real weakness, other than his death wish and mental instability, is magic, since he has edited Superman's vulnerability to Kryptonite, and when under red sunlight radiation he can replace his physical powers with robotic equivalents. He doesn't need to breathe. He has superior hearing, telescopic and microscopic eyesight, and X-ray vision. Bullets, even those shot by other Heroic Spirits, won't even cause minimal damage, and he can easily tank through most explosive Noble Phantasms totally unscathed.

However, unlike Superman, Avenger is vulnerable to magnetism. This is a weakness that can be exploited.

Flight: A

Avenger can fly at extremely high speeds, surpassing that of a combat jet, and he is also extremely maneuverable.

Technomorphing: A

Avenger is a 'technomorph'. Unlike simple technopaths, who can physically manipulate technology with their minds, Henshaw can extend his consciousness into any machine, and absorb them to gain extra body mass. It was through his technomorphic abilities that Avenger gained Kryptonian powers similar to those of Superman, while editing out most of his weaknesses, such as his vulnerability to kryptonite. He could even commandeer complex alien technology, including Green Lantern power rings, control and assimilate the energy fueling them, as well as their batteries.

The Qwardian Power Ring he once possessed has been lost as its extra energy was too much for the Throne of Heroes to channel into a manageable Anti Heroic Spirit.

Noble Phantasm:

Engine City: A

Anti-City, Anti-Army.

Avenger's Reality Marble. The maximum expression of a completely deranged mind, the same one that once tried to turn Coast City and Metropolis into cites populated by nothing but robots and machines under his sway.

The Reality Marble alters the landscape around Avenger, moved by his desperate need for a place where he can belong. Whoever is trapped inside will be slowly turned into a machine, gradually losing their free will as metal pieces graft onto them, expanding across their skin and replacing their inner organs with machinery pieces. Just breathing its air, full of toxic fumes from tall chimneys, is poisonous for anyone but Avenger himself.

If the Reality Marble isn't destroyed before completion, it will transform its victims into mindless drones to be controlled by Avenger. Avenger himself, not his Master, will take over the Command Seals of any Servants he has assimilated.

Summon:

"Kneel and pay tribute! I am Avenger! Never a Servant! Ours is an alliance of need and nothing else, human filth!"

Start of Battle:

"I'll write Superman's legacy — and it'll be written in blood!"

"Love is the cruel trick of life. Its bond is broken by death and unable to be fixed like my new body. By eliminating organic life, I eliminate the suffering that goes with it."

"There is no perfection to be found in this world. The only perfection is absolute nothingness. A universe void of… of even a void."

Attack:

"The flesh is weak!"

"I'll break your bones!"

"I'll snap your spine!"

"You offend me!"

Damage:

"Insufficient damage!"

"Clever creature!"

Victory:

"I am alive and well!"

"What do you think I am!?"

"You failed to destroy me! But I forgive you!"

"The only way to see a man's true soul is to see him in defeat! To see him beaten by his betters!"

Defeat:

"I cannot self terminate..."

"Thanks."

"I had forgotten... This most human feeling."

"I feel warm, so warm."

Defeat by Noble Phantasm:

"I believe I see her…"

Noble Phantasm Activation:

"And so, Engine City roars to life!"

Extra Dialogue:

"You... You remind me of... No! Stay away!" (When you have Rider Human Torch).

"The mindless clone! He shall make for a priceless tool! A recruit for the Superman Revenge Squad!" (When you have Berserker Bizarro).

"I mistook you for him at first. But that mistake won't be repeated! You are only a cheap ruffian. You aren't even worthy of yielding his colors, FOOL!" (When you have Berserker Ultraman).

"Excalibur? Someone out there must be laughing at this." (When you have Saber Artoria Pendragon).

"Luthor! Where is Superman? He should be here by now! You must be involved in his absence! Bring him to me!" (When you have Caster Lex Luthor).

Birthday: "You dare bother me with cheap sentimentalism? Don't talk to me about that again!"

Event: "Start formulating your battle plans, child. We're about to stage an invasion."

Holy Grail: "Do you think that meager cup can exterminate me? I have my doubts but it's worth an attempt."
