Ash was unable to sleep, Ash sat up from the bed and released Raichu and Lucario out of there pokeballs.
Both appeared in a flash of light
"What's up Ash, i thought you would be with your girlfriend." Raichu said via telepathy
"Stupid" Lucario hit him on the and pointed out that Brock and Misty were still there "Can't you see they are still here, he can't do that with them still here."
"Humans are weird" both said laughing
"And i thought you had my back Lucario." Ash said sulking
"Should i tell Sylveon how you feel" Ash said smirking
"Don't be like that Ash, you know we have your back, and you wouldn't do that to your best bud will you?" Raichu said some desperation entering his mental voice
"You know, i wouldn't do that." Ash replied laughing
Raichu sighed in relief
"So, are you still awake?" Lucario asked
"I am just thinking." Ash said
"Thinking what?" Lucario asked
"So far, all the battle weren't that hard or that challenging, heck not even once one of our teammate has yet to be defeated, not like i want them to, but still, did i..." Ash trailered off
"You did what?" Raichu questioned
"Did i train you guys too hard?" Ash asked feeling like he got too hard on them
"NO IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT AT All!!!" both cryied in indigation
"Yes it was our choice to train as hard as possible." Lucario said
"Yes, if anything it's the fault of those uncompitant trainers." Raichu said
"Thank you guys you are the best!" Ash said and hugged the both of them

"Begin" The referee called out
"Go, Clefable!" Melissa let out her fairy type
"Gengar, I choose you!" Ash let out his albino Gengar
"Clefable, Psychic!"
"Nasty plot to negate it!"
Clefable captured Gengar in a psychic hold, Gengar covered himself in dark type aura the negate the ESP.
"Toxic spikes!"
"Calm mind!"
"Metronome!"
"Toxic jab!"
After using status move, Clefable used Metronome that turned into Mega drain and the albino came closer. the grass move didn't do much to the poison ghost and punch Clefable into his jaw, and got seviarly poison
"Life dew!"
"Sludge bomb!"
Clefable healed himself with the healing move, and Gengar launched and a powered up Sludge bomb at the fairy type. The super effective was enough to knock him out the Fairy Pokémon
Wordlessly she recalled her fainted pokemon
"Tyranitar, Go!" Melissa smirked
Tyranitar is a large, bipedal, dinosaurian Pokémon with a green, armor-like hide covering its body. It has two pairs of pointed teeth: one in the upper jaw and one in the lower. Several spikes of varying size protrude from the back of its head, neck, and shoulders. Both sides of its chest, the center of its back, and its knees have two triangular holes. There is a gray, diamond-shaped patch of scales covering its belly, and a smaller one on its back. It has three claws on its feet and hands. A ring of spikes surrounds the tip of its tail.
The pseudo-legandary landed on the battlefield as a sand strom started and got poisoned.
"Tyranitar, Dark pulse!"
"Gengar, Giga drain!"
Tyranitar launched a beam made of horrible aura imbued with dark thoughts at Gengar. Gengar narrowly dodged the dark move and absorbed the life energy from the pseudo-legendary. Tyranitar took the chance and chomp down on Gengar's head and shook him around.
"For the first time Red's pokemon got knocked out folks!" the announcer declared, even more exciting the crowd.
Melissa grined
Ash grined as well, "great job Gengar, Dragonair, I choose you!"
"Tyranitar, Avalanche!"
"Dragonair, Dragon dance to dodge it and Rain dance!"
Dragonair used the boosting move and dodged the ice burgess in high speed and then used Rain dance making it rain ending and sand strom. At this point Tyranitar the poison damege was not that dameging, still painful.
"Tyranitar, Ice beam!"
"Dragonair, Extreme jet!"
Tyranitar used Ice beam but Dragonair seemingly teleported behind the pseudo-legendary, and attack the rock type from all sides with rapid low powered Aqua tails.
"Tyranitar, Ice punch!"
Dragonair tried to Dodge the move mid attack but was unable to and was flinged into the air.
"Dragonair, agility!X3"
After that every move that Tyranitar made was effortlessly dodged
"Tyranitar, Outrage!"
"Dragonair, match it!"
Both used outrage, when Tyranitar punches Dragonair, Dragonair attacks him with two tail slaps. because of his speed Dragonair came on top. once the Pseudo-legendary fainted, Dragonair started glowing and turned into Dragonite.
Dragonite is a draconic, bipedal reptilian Pokémon with light orange skin. It has large, grayish-green eyes and a round snout with small nostrils. A pair of long, thin antennae sprout from the top of its head with a small horn set between them. Its striated underbelly is cream-colored and extends from its neck to the tip of its long, tapering tail. It has thick arms and legs ending in three claws each. The leg joints are well defined, while its arms have a smooth, rounded appearance. Dragonite's wings are small relative to its body with teal wing membranes.
Dragonite flew towards Ash and hugged him.
"Great job, and i am happy for you as well Dragonite. now return." Ash said
"Tyranitar, return!"
Tyranitar's image turned gray on the score board along with Clefable
"Kabutops, I choose you!"
"Venusaur, Go!"
Both pokemon appeared on the battlefield
"Venusaur, Leech seed!"
"Cut!"
Venusaur launched a life energy saping seed at Kabutops, Kabutops cut the small seed perfectly in two.
"End this quick Frenzy plant!" Melissa Smirked
"Dig and used Swords dance stay under till i say so!" Ash smirked back
Just as the thorny roots emerged Kabutops dug underground, Ash noted that the Venusaur has even less control on the roots then his own, cause his own Venusaur can some what control the root underground now, but her Venusaur's roots were just attacking the air uselessly, and there were just four roots. Soon the roots retreated and Venusaur was ready to move.
"Earthquake now!"
"Ice bullet, directly up!"
Just as Venusaur was about to stomp his four paw on the ground, Kabutops came from underneath Venusaur like a bullet, made of ice, the did a bit of damege but not enough to knock out
"Okay I've had enough of this ends here, Venusaur, MEGA EVOLVE!!!" Mellissa growled out. Ash had just noticed the mega stone on Venusaur's flower and the key stone necklace she wore
"What is it seems thet Mellissa had just MEGA EVOLVED HER VENUSAUR!!!" The announcer exclaimed needlessly
In the stands
"Mega evolution what's that?" Misty asked
"Mega Evolutions are temporary battle forms of various Pokémon. These Pokémon need to have a special hold item in order to activate known as a Mega Stone. When a Pokémon's Mega Stone is activated alongside a trainer's Key Stone, the Pokémon will Mega Evolve into a stronger form. This changes type and abilities of a Pokémon. In the games, it lasts for as long as Pokémon are in battle and you can oonly have 1 Mega Evolved Pokémon in your team at a time. Mega evolution was first founded in Kalos, where Serena." Oak explained
on the battlefield
Ash pulled out his pokedex
Mega Venusaur In order to support its flower, which has grown larger due to Mega Evolution, its back and legs have become stronger.
All mega evolved pokemon has the same ability depending on the species, All mega Venusaur has ability Thick fat
"Damn Kabutops-"
"tops!" Kabutops shook her head
"Venusaur, Petal dance!"
"There's no other way, Protect!"
The mega pokemon launched thousands of pink petals at Kabutops, Kabutops unable get way in time raised a protective barrier, the petals harmlessly bounced away from the barrier.
Ash knew it won't last for long
"Substitute!"
Just as Venusaur used Petal dance a second time Kabutops replaced herself with a substitute of herself. the substitute lounged forward and Venusaur aimed his petals solely on the substitute that gave Kabutops the chance to use Leech life from behind.
The super effective move did some damege, but unfortunately not enough, the mega pokemon turned around confused yet with a Power whip ready. caught off-guard Kabutops was captured in Venusaur's vine, Venusaur slammed Kabutops on the ground repeatedly.
"Kabutops is unable to battle, Mega Venusaur is the winner!" the referee declared
Kabutops imege went gray
"Kabutops returns, you did a great job." Ash kissed the poke ball
"Pidgeot, I choose you!" Ash let out his gracefull bird
"Pidgeot, he took out Kabutops, becareful!" Ash suggested
"Geot!" Pidgeot replied
"Venusaur, Sludge bomb!"
"Pidgeot, Aerokinesis defence style!"
Pidgeot covered himself in a invisible bubble of air, Venusaur launched the Sludge bomb and it connected but most of the attack was deflected, with only a small annount hit her.
"Pidgeot, Rain dance!"
"Synthesis!"
Before the rain started Mega Venusaur healed himself,
"Venusaur, Leaf strom!"
"Pidgeot, Astral Brave bird!"
Venusaur launched a Leaf strom at Pidgeot, Pidgeot cover her self in a cone of air and rocketed towards mega Venusaur through the strom of leaves. Every now and then a leaf would nick her getting pass her defence. eventually she rammed the mega's forehead. the cone of air negated the recoil for Pidgeot but the damege it did to Venusaur was almost enough to knock him out. almost
"Hurricane, now!"
Pidgeot took the chance and the close range to attack the mega with a powerful hurricane, Venusaur flailed and did everything he could but alas, healing moves may heal you but it saps your stamina. Venusaur returned to his normal self and fainted.
"Venusaur is unable, Pidgeot is the winner!" the referee declared
Venusaur's imege went gray
"Milotic, Go!"
"Pidgeot great job now return." that astral Brave bird really took alot out of her and just after that a hurricane. "Raichu, I choose you! let go buddy!" Ash exclaimed in joy at finally having a challenge
"Yeah i'll kick their butts!" Raichu exclaimed in similar joy
"Raichu, Nasty plot!"
"Milotic, Coil!"
Both used the boosting moves
"Hypnosis!"
"Negate it, Electric terrain!"
Milotic tried to put Raichu to sleep, but just before the move hit Raichu used Electric terrain. Any pokemon in Electric terrain is unable to sleep and boosts electric moves.
"Milotic, Aqua tail!"
"Meet it with, Magnetic tail!"
Raichu's turned metallic then black and sparks came off him. he met his tail with Milotic's water covered one electrifying her.
"Milotic, Dragon pulse!"
"Dodge it, and you know what to do"
Raichu easily dodged the dragon move, and used Thunder, a large streak of lightning that scroched the battlefield.
"Milotic is unable to battle, Raichu is the winner!" the referee declared
"That was kind of disappointing." Raichu floated back to Ash's side
"Still you did good" Ash smiled and rubbed his head
"Ofcourse i did, who do you think i am!" Raichu snapped playfully
She recalled her water type and send out her Golem and the rain stopped.
"Well then let go, LUCARIO, I CHOOSE YOU"
"Golem, Earthquake!"
"Jump up, Power up punch!"
Golem stomped her feet on the ground, just as the earthquake accured Lucario jumped and jumped high using and momentum, Lucario punched the Golem, Cracking her rocky armour. and the Golem flinched in pain.
"End this, Close combat!"
Lucario not giving her a moment to breath, Lucario pelted him with a barrage of punches and kicks. Breaking most of her armour.
"Golem is unable to battle, Lucario is the winner!" The referee declared
"And with a epic battle Red moves on to semi finals!" The announcer declared.
Ash step down to shake hands with his opponent.
"Thank you for the great battle." Ash thanked, Lucario and Raichu following him
"Oh it was my pleasure." she replied in a sultry tone, not knowing everyone can hear them.
"You mind 'helping' me with some of my problems?" She asked grabbing his hand and pressing it to her chest.
"Umm... I want to strategize for my next battle." Ash ran off blushing, his two pokemon following him.
"Aww~ he's so cute." she said to herself and then she remembered everyone can hear her, she ran the same way as Ash blushing.
Time skip
Ash and Serena had maneged to get away from the group, and now Ash was sitting against a tree with Serena between his arms, her back to his chest, and Serena was ranting.
"Who does she think she was to talk you to like that-" she was cut off you Ash's lips capturing her's
"Don't worry i belong to you and only you." He whispered in her ear
She blushed brightly not expecting that.
"W-well you're right about that and, DON'T YOU FORGET IT." she said the last part a bit loudly.
"ASH, SERENA ARE YOU THERE." Misty's voice came some way back, Hearing her both jumped away from each other.
"Oh Misty, what are you doing here?" Ash said in fake calmness in actuality he was annoyed
"The lunch is ready, what were you doing?" Misty asked
"Oh Ash was teaching about, type match ups and when to use it." Serena replied in a same tone as Ash in a similar mood, this is not a lie, Ash hed indeed taught her about type match ups and when to use them, but on the same day she arrived, means yesterday night.
Misty move forward Ash and Serena following her but even the promise of food didn't fixed his mood, it was after when ate as much as humanly possible, that he feel happy.
