Toad saw the pipe rattling and immediately thought to turn the red valve. Bloopie saw this and reacted by stretching a tentacle into another pipe, which came out of the yellow valve.
"Ack!" Toad yelped out as he narrowly dodged the tentacle.
Bloopie brought his tentacle back and tried to turn the water back on. Which worked and began filling the trench again. Toad then ran over to the blue valve where the water was coming from and turned it. The water stopped and began draining. Bloopie reacted by stretching another tentacle out. Toad realized what was happening when he saw the pipe with the red valve shaking and he quickly turned the red valve, which returned a blast of water back to Bloopie, hurting him.
"Haha! How's that taste!?" Toad mocked.
Bloopie growled and lifted himself up. He sprayed ink down into the trench, which hit Toad in the face.
"Gross!" Toad yelped out. He struggled to try and get the ink off his face, which allowed enough time for Bloopie to stretch a tentacle out and hit him. Toad was thrown back and hit the wall hard. He fell into the water which luckily cleaned his face, and he stood back up. Bloopie stretched more tentacles into the pipes. This time, two pipes began shaking, which confused Toad, and he didn't know which one to turn first. He saw one pipe not spewing any water, but the other one did. He waited too long, and two tentacles came out of the two pipes. He dodged the first one but got hit by the other. He was thrown onto the ground, but he stood back up and fixed himself. Again, two pipes began shaking as Bloopie stretched two tentacles into them again. This time, Toad tried turning the valve to the pipe that was spewing water. This wasn't the correct answer, and a tentacle came out of the pipe, which he was luckily able to dodge. He then tried to think of a new idea, when he looked up and saw something. The pipes were gray with their respective color-coded valves, but in the middle of the pipes was paint that marked all three of the pipes. The red valved pipe had purple paint, the blue valved pipe had green paint, and the yellow valved pipe had orange paint. He then looked down at the valves near him and saw that some of the valves were glowing yellow light before disappearing which he never realized as he was always in a rush. If he turned two of the valves with the combining color, and with the help of the yellow light, he could easily turn the water back. He grinned and readied himself for Bloopie's next attack.
"Honey! Please come back up here quickly!" Mrs. Hoskins shouted to her husband. Mr. Hoskins flew back up where his wife and Gyumba were.
"Mr. Hoskins! The sink!" Gyumba shouted.
Mr. Hoskins turned to look at the sink, which was spraying water out. He flew to the cabinet underneath but saw no water escaping from the pipe underneath it, and he immediately knew the problem was coming from downstairs.
"Call Ed and tell him to meet us here asap Mary! The rats must have bit into the pipes or something!" He shouted to which Mrs. Hoskins nodded and flew over to the phone. He and Gyumba then ran downstairs, but as Gyumba ran down the stairs, a thought flashed into his head, and he began silently panicking.
Uh oh…
Bloopie stretched two more tentacles out and two pipes began to shake. The pipe with purple paint began to shake, so he turned the red valve. Bloopie yelped and then continued trying to stretch a tentacle into the pipe. Toad looked up and saw that only the pipe with the purple paint was still shaking, so he turned the blue valve, which had a glowing light above it. His assumptions were correct. Another blast of water hit Bloopie, and from the looks of it, one more burst of water would be enough to bring him down.
Bloopie growled and inked Toad again, which stung his eyes, and blinded him.
"Ack! Again!?" Toad yelped out.
Toad tried looking up and saw that the green valve was shaking. So he tried running to the yellow valve and turning it. Bloopie stretched out another tentacle, and Toad ran over to another valve and tried turning it. Unfortunately, he had turned the red valve, which wasn't correct. He couldn't dodge the tentacle and got struck. He got his face cleaned off, but as he stood back up, Bloopie inked his face again.
"Ack!" Toad shouted again in pain. He looked up and saw the orange pipe shaking so he ran and turned the red valve. He then ran and tried to turn the yellow valve, but got misdirected and turned the blue valve. Again Bloopie's tentacle stretched out of the pipe and struck Toad again.
"Huyahaha!" Terrence was watching the entire thing, and he cackled as Bloopie struck him again. Once again, as Toad stood back up, Bloopie inked him again. Toad grumbled angrily. Clearly, Bloopie will not stop inking him now that he is getting close to finishing him. Toad then thought of something else. He took a deep breath and calmed himself down. Bloopie stretched his tentacles into the pipe again, and the pipe with the green paint began shaking. Toad calmly turned the blue valve. Bloopie then tried stretching his tentacle again. Toad's vision slightly cleared up and he was able to see the glowing light again and he calmly followed it to the yellow valve and proceeded to turn it.
All the pipes began to shake violently, and Bloopie panicked, trying to twist his tentacles and stretch them into all the pipes. Toad cleaned his face and saw the scene. He then noticed the last valve was the red one, and quickly ran to turn it.
A large jet stream of water blasted out and struck Bloopie, finally knocking the Blooper unconscious.
"Grrr! No!" Terrence angrily stomped his feet and jumped onto the pipes where Bloopie was.
"Thiis isn't ovah fungus! Oy'm gawnna finish the jawb and myke shoah yah-" Before Terrence could finish however, the green pipe burst. Then the purple one. His eyes bulged in horror as he tried to get off, but he slipped and caught his foot in another pipe. All of the pipes began shaking, and water could be heard from the opening where he and Bloopie were.
"Aw cryumbs…" Terrence meekly squeaked out.
The pipes finally collapsed, and a large water stream blasted out, launching Terrence and Bloopie into the sky, out of the hole Big Bertha was blasted out!
"AIYEEEEEEEE………" Terrence squealed out as he flew into the air, never to be seen by the gang ever again.
Toad looked up and shocked, but then turned his attention to the Sky Crystal which floated slowly into the trench. He suddenly felt himself floating out, as if the Crystal itself was carrying him safely out of the trench. He grabbed the crystal and a grin stretched across his face.
"I… I did it! I did it! WOOHOO! How does that feel Terrence!?" Toad shouted out at the hole aimlessly.
"I am the Superstar!" He cheered.
