Fiona was walking down the street after coming back from clothes shopping in one of the few stores in Empire City that accommodated mobians. She walked past an alleyway when she heard a voice she had hoped to never hear again.
"Hiya Babe!"
"Scourge?!" shouted Fiona in shock as she turned to see her Ex-boyfriend with a grin on his face.
"Relax Babe. I'm willing to forgive you as long as you come back with me." said Scourge with his hands raised cautiously.
Her fear then turned to anger.
"You left me for dead Scourge." she stated.
"There was nothing that I could've done. Look I even stole somethin' for ya to make it up to you." Said Scourge as he pulled out a diamond.
Fiona looked at it for a second. Scourge would do this for her when she used to meet with him in secret during her days as a Freedom Fighter.
"You turned me against my friends." She said quietly.
"Oh, so you're pinning the blame on me now? I only suggested things you did all the rest." Scourge said with a frown.
Fiona looked down in shame. Before Scourge put a hand on her shoulder.
"It's alright Babe, people like you and me don't need any friends." Scourge said with a smile.
"It was never going to work out between us." Fiona said as she pushed him away.
"So that's how it is. Fine, be that way. You and me had a good thing goin' you got to be with the coolest guy in the Multiverse, but now? Now you've got nothing." Said Scourge as he walked away.
At the apartment
As Fiona entered the apartment, she saw Shirou was sitting down and watching the news, she then began to remove her clothes, she started with her leather crop-top, then she took off her gloves, then her pants and then finally she removed her boots. She then walked up to Shirou and kissed him.
"What are you doing?" asked Shirou.
"I love you. I want to be with you." said Fiona.
"What? No, I can't!" said Shirou.
"Relax, I just turned 17, I'll be 18 in a year and besides mobians have different age limits. If you're worried about taking my virginity, I already lost that to Scourge." she explained to put him at ease although she said the last detail with a thrown.
"Anyways I know you want me. After all you let me sleep with you that night." said Fiona.
Shirou went quiet.
Fiona then looked down in shame.
"I'm pathetic, aren't I? Sonic isn't an option anymore, Tails is too young for my tastes and he lost interest in me. Then I fall in love with an overlander in his 30s because he saved my life when I was at my lowest." She said.
"No, it's not that. There's something I have to tell you. I'm not from this era, I come from a time before the Xorda attack on Earth in the 21st century. I was in a state of suspended animation for tens of thousands of years until I was discovered by Team Dark. I still haven't gotten used to the fact that I have essentially outlived all my loved ones." Shirou explained.
"Oh …" Fiona responded quietly.
In a world where gods and monsters exist it wasn't that hard to believe.
"Just give me a year to think about it." said Shirou.
"Okay." Fiona said silently.
She then went to the closet to put away her clothes. In her closet was several of her old outfits. She saw her old jacket and t-shirt, her black and orange track suit, her white and orange zip-up leotard and her yellow boots along with her pair of orange and white boots. She then looked at the new outfit she bought, it was a crop-top with a similar color to her leotard and a pair of orange shorts.
"I guess I'll try those out later." said Fiona.
Meanwhile in the Great Forest
Bunnie walked through the forest alone. After what Fiona did she tended to her Uncle's wounds and left. She couldn't stay any longer. If Eggman found out that she had been there he would probably assume that she was the one who destroyed the refinery and punish her Uncle for sheltering her.
Then a hopeful smile grew on her face as New Mobotropolis came into view. Then she saw a flying object approaching in the distance. When it came into view, Bunnie was horrified to see that it was Mecha Sally. A dozen thoughts raced through her head. Was New Mobotropolis being attacked? Did Eggman takeover New Mobotropolis while she was gone?
She was then surprised when Sally embraced her in a hug and began to cry.
"Bunnie you're back!" Sally exclaimed.
"Sally-girl?" asked Bunnie as she also began to cry.
"It's okay Bunnie, the others helped free me. I heard that you ran away to stay with your Uncle. What happened?" asked Sally.
"After ah lost mah roboticized arm and legs ah felt helpless after losin' Sugar-t'wan. Ah needed time to cope. Ah almost considered gettin' legionized so ah wouldn't be helpless no more. But decided ah would work out to get mah strength back instead." said Bunnie sadly before her face darkened as she went on.
"Then Fiona showed up and bombed da place. She almost killed Uncle Beauregard. Ah had to leave." She finished with tears streaming from her eyes.
"Oh, Bunnie." Sally said quietly.
"It seems that even though Fiona seems to have reformed she's still hurting people." thought Sally bitterly.
Somewhere nearby
The robot that had once been Auto-Fiona was crying underneath a tree. Shard landed nearby and went to comfort her.
"Don't worry everything's going to be okay." said Shard.
"No nothing's okay! Tails doesn't love me anymore!" she shouted.
"I really should've warned you that things might've gotten complicated because of Tails having a bad experience with the real Fiona Fox." explained Shard with a grimace.
The robot Fox's eyes then turned an angry red.
"I'm going to kill her." said Auto-Fiona as she got up to leave.
"What?! No, stop before you do something you regret!" Shard shouted but the mechanical fox ignored him and activated her turbine and flew off.
Ending Short: In Another Time, Another Place
Skye, Manik and Sonia had been kidnapped and were now in a cell.
"I'm scared." said Skye in a quiet voice with tears in his eyes.
"Don't worry my dad will get us out of here in no time." said Manik.
"There's someone here." said Sonia.
"Who could it be?" asked Skye.
"Ooh, I bet it's my dad!" said Manik.
However instead they were greeted by a person they didn't recognize. A Fox woman who wore a black crop-top and belted skinny pants underneath a black jacket. She began to pick the lock when Skye spoke up.
"W-who are you?" he asked.
"I'm here to save you. That's all you need to know for now." said the older fox.
As she finally opened the cell Manik rushed ahead to greet her.
"Hi, I'm Manik!" said Manik excitedly.
"I'm Sonia." said Sonia cautiously.
The woman then looked over to Skye.
"And what's your name little guy." said the woman.
"S-Skye Prower." he said.
"Come on let's get out of here." said the woman with a sweet smile as she ruffled his hair with her gloved hands.
As they all went together towards the exit they walked past the limp body of their kidnapper.
"Who are you?" Skye asked again.
"My name's Fiona. I used to be a friend of your Dad's and I did a lot of things I'm not proud of. But I'm trying to make up for the wrong I've done." she said.
As they finally got outside they heard a yell.
"Get away from them, Fiona!"
Skye turned and saw his Dad and Manik's Dad looking at Fiona angrily. Fiona backed away with her hands raised and spoke.
"It's okay I was just getting them out of there for you. I wasn't going to hurt them. I'm sorry about the things I did back then I was young and stupid." said Fiona.
"Look at you now. Tails, you grew into a handsome man and Sonic, you're the King of Mobius. And you started families. I'm really happy for you. You deserve long happy lives without me." she said sadly as she prepared to leave.
"Wait, don't go." said Sonic.
Fiona turned to face him.
"Come stay with my family for a while." said Sonic.
