Chara leads the way down the dark hallway, holding her hand in his. She hadn't started questioning why she could touch the ghost boy yet, but she was happy to not be alone. Even more, because her glasses had broken on the impact with the ground, without Chara's guiding hand, she would be lost, alone, and blind. He guided her hand to a stick hidden in the grass and helped her pick it up.

"Here, it's not much for right now, but it's a better weapon than nothing." He said, guiding her further toward the blurry light at the end of the hall.

"A weapon?" She turned to look at him, confused. "What do I need a weapon for?"

"To get rid of any monsters in our way, silly."

"Monsters?!" She stopped walking, scared of the unknown lurking through the door.

"Let's sit down, and I'll tell you a story."

She nodded her head and sat down with him while he held her hand and began to tell her the story of this place.

"Long ago, two races ruled over the Earth: monsters and humans. They lived peacefully for a while until one day a war broke out between them. The monsters and humans fought and there were many casualties on both sides until the human wizards forced them back to Mt. Ebbot and sealed them underground with a powerful spell." He sat back and nodded his head. "So that's why you need a weapon because monsters hate humans."

"But I'm not a powerful wizard. How is a little stick gonna help?"

"Don't worry. I'll protect you."

"Oh! Okay, Chara." She giggled and took his hand.

He used his other hand to fix the bandage on her cheek and then joined hands, clenched the stick, and led her forward. Through the door and into a large open room, a small yellow flower popped from the ground and began to smile at her, unable to see the demon who held her hand.

"Howdy! I'm Flowey, Flowey the Flower!" The flower winked and stuck its tongue out. "Hmmm.. you're new to the Underground, aren'tcha? Golly, you must be so confused! Someone's gotta teach you how things work around here! Welp! I guess little old me will have to do... Ready?! Here we go-"
