Sinking to the floor tears rolling down my checks as the feeling of defeat settled in. I heard Ash scream down the hall, yelling at Rue stop tell him where she was taking him. She's taking you back to the Rebellion you idiot. Bella appeared infront of me, looking rather disappointed. "Go after him." She insisted, steepling her hands. I shook my head, knowing nothing good would come of it. "You love him and you know it." She continued to try and convince me, taking her chance while Reese was evidently away on vacation. Maybe she got beaten out of me, Sawyer would love that. "No Bella, he's my brother in law." I shook my head, still declining her pleas. "Come on, even Reese agrees with me!" Reese appeared, nodding in agreement. "I guess I might have some feelings for him." I admitted, looking back down. "If you let Ash go now, you might never see him again." Reese put up a compelling argument, causing me to get up and run out the door. If I have any chance at rekindling our friendship, I better act know. I ran out of the castle onto the landing pad where I assumed their ship would be. I saw Ash getting into the ship, looking slightly bewildered by Rue's behavior, but still getting into the ship willingly. "You chose her." I whispered, feeling the split in my heart grow. The ship door shut, leaving me alone, again. "Rebel!" Sawyer called out to me, his tone still angry. I guess I should've been scared, sad, mad, but I wasn't, all I could do was laugh. It was a nice vacation while Ash was here, but no vacation could save me from the nightmare that was my ever so lonely life.
