It was 25 years ago. As Gold Roger sailed the seas as the King of the Pirates, green light appeared all over the world, and they continued to appear to this day. He meets new friends, goes on adventures, and decides that he doesn't like a certain government and how it runs things.

Due to a Accident Izuku is forced into surviving in a new land with very different rules and should he survive become a different type of hero.

Of course, due to the loss of footage, the world was mislead to believe that Hercule Satan was the one to vanquish the being in the place of All Might's absence.
