This is my first chapter of my own version of Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel.

The Chipmunks, Alvin, Simon and Theodore, are rocking out on stage for a charity benefit.

The Chipmunks: I said girl, you really got me now

You got me so I don't know what I'm doin'

Yeah, you really got me now

You got me so I can't sleep at night

Girl, you really got me now

You got me so I don't know what I'm doin'

Oh yeah, you really got me now

You got me so I can't sleep at night

You really got me, ooh

You really got me, yeah

You really got me

Alvin was in the middle of his solo, but his guitar string breaks.

"Nuts!" Alvin scowled.

Alvin bounds off backstage to get a replacement guitar.

"Gimme the Black Beauty." Alvin called.

Alvin starts to go return to the stage, when a familiar voice stops him.

"Alvin, take it easy out there. You gotta share the spotlight." Dave warned.

"You got it, Dave!" Alvin understood.

Alvin heads off the return to the stage, but Dave steps on his guitar reel.

"Uh, Dave?" Alvin asked.

"I'm serious, Alvin! This is a charity benefit." Dave warned. "It's not all about you."

"Sorry, Dave, I can't hear you over the thousands of fans screaming my name!" Alvin said.

Alvin pulls the cord to his guitar and bounds back to the stage.

"I'm back, Paris!" Alvin yelled.

Alvin hurls his tiny guitar high in the air and over the railing.

"A little help, boys?" Alvin asked.

Simon and Theodore toss Alvin in the air and catches his guitar and swings by the cable. Dave sighs. Swinging, Alvin becomes huge on the stadium video screen. He swings high onto the scaffolding, show-boating like mad.

"Alvin, will you please get down form there?" Dave asked.

"I can't hear you!" Alvin yelled.

"Alvin, I'm not kidding!" Dave warned.

Alvin accidentally pulls out a plug, sending sparks flying and causing a giant cardboard cutout of himself to come loose.

"Dave, look out!" Alvin yelled.

The huge Alvin display board swings down and plows right into him, sending him flying across the stage, and lands in a shatter of sparks.

The next day, Dave is at the hospital, covered in bandages, while the doctor put the needle into Dave's arm.

"This should help with the pain." The doctor said.

"I wanna talk to my boys." Dave said.

"I just gave you a sedative that will take effect in about one minute, so let them come in." The doctor said.

"Dave! Dave, you're alive!" The chipmunks exclaimed happily.

"Hey, guys." Dave said.

"It was an accident, I swear." Alvin said.

"Are you okay?" Theodore asked.

"I'm really sorry, Dave." Alvin apologized.

"I'll be fine. I'm just gonna be stuck here for a while until I get out." Dave explained. "And until then, I've made arrangements for my Aunt Jackie to come stay with you."

"Who's Aunt Jackie?" Alvin asked.

"The one who sends us those metal buckets of yummy popcorn for Christmas." Theodore said.

"Oh, Popcorn Jackie." Alvin realized.

"You don't have much time, monsieur Seville." The doctor said.

"Listen, guys. I want you to go home and live a normal childhood." Dave said, groggily. "I've even made arrangements for you to go to school."

"School?" The chipmunks asked.

"Yes, school." Dave said. "Simon, tell Rex I'm putting him in charge."

"You are?" Simon asked, surprised.

"I'm... counting on... you." Dave said, before he went to sleep.

"Dave, please don't die." Theodore said, sadly.

"He's just sleeping." The doctor said. "He's had a sedative."

"Oh, a sedative." Theodore realized.

A woman came into the room.

"Excuse me. I'm here to escort the chipmunks home." she said.

"We're not leaving Dave!" Alvin snapped. "I'm putting my paw down on t-"

The doctor then put a syringe on Alvin's butt, which made him to put to sleep.

"I hope for your sake he stays asleep for the entire flight." The doctor whispered.

"Maybe we should give him another shot, just to be sure." Simon suggested.

"The sooner we get to Aunt Jackie, the better." Theodore said.

Another chapter is coming up, so stay tuned.
