Earth, a planet unlike any other the diamonds had come across in their conquest of the galaxy. Not only was it a planet with it's own inhabitants known as "humans" but apparently it was able to create two gems unlike any that had ever been created before. Gems made entirely of gem rock and being "males" instead of females.

Appearance/Body: Shard is a silicon-based life form made of super-hard and durable green/blue diamond-like crystals. He appears like a muscular humanoid while also sports four crystal shards on his back and has a sharp head.

Clothing: A green shirt with no sleeves, black overcoat, and black pants.

Powers: crystallokinesis, crystal levitation, body alteration, size alteration, weapon manifestation, regeneration, arm extension, crystal shard projectiles, crystal shard growth, crystalline constructs, crystallization, energy refraction, enhanced strength, enhanced jumping, enhanced acrobatics, enhanced reflexes, space survivability, time ray immunity, acid immunity, and heat/fire resistance.
