Chapter 1: Wanderers
"He killed them… he killed them all" Naruto whispered, as his right hand shook in the absolute rage he felt.
The blonde haired man, a man with short spiked hair with tan skin and whisker marks around his cheeks, glared at his opponent. As his orange jacket billowed out in the wind. His usual white cloak was torn, gone with the wind and nowhere to be seen. As his equally orange pants and white shirt were nearly ripped to shreds.
His opponent, a monster if nothing else. A humanoid looking figure with pale skin, white hair, and black marking all around his body. He also possessed strange, rippled eyes of golds and reds, across within palms, forehead and eye sockets. Of a similar design to his fallen friend…
Sasuke, he didn't stand a chance, none of them did.
They attacked during the Chunin exams, right at the climax of it all. And they attacked with an unwarranted prejudice, killing all they saw. They did have a chance, not when fighting in the village.
Sasuke had been taken down, nearly taking out the largest of the duo. However, it seemed they had another trick up their sleeves, merging together to become even more powerful.
And within his weakened state, his dark haired friend never stood a chance, they all didn't.
Within this new form he had killed them, using devastating attacks that e passed a widespread area, uncaring of the surrounding inhabitants before him.
He'd tried to stop him, but even that proved to be impossible, especially with all the people around, he had never been able to go all out.
Luckily, or unluckily in his case, there were no more people around.
No! That wasn't it, there wasn't anybody around, at all. And judging with his enhanced sensory abilities… there was nobody else on the entire planet.
They'd all died, perishing by the intense worldly changes that their battle had produced.
That was right. It wasn't the otsutsuki that had killed them… it was him.
If he had just been willing to stop the parasites, if he had just defeated them a little earlier… all life on the planet wouldn't be dead.
But even still… This god had to die! Even if it cost him his very soul itself.
"Kurama, let's do this!" He called out.
As the inner voice of his demon responded, "Naruto, let's do this, for them!"
And with that statement, his body lit up in an ethereal fire. It was all encompassing, as he had just allowed kurama to activate his Kyuubi chakra mode. As the Kyuubi's avatar soon appeared.
The otsutsuki stood atop a large golem, one made of both rock and lava. As the large monster swiped down.
However, it was too slow, as the kyuubi dodged to the side, the fox using its many tails to attach onto the golem's arm, as it tried to use its body weight to try and knock it down.
But it was to no avail, as the large construct pressed it's full body weight to the ground.
The large fox aimed its snout, as a large coalition of red and blue energy appeared, forming a large purple orb, they soon fired upon their shared enemy.
The golem tried to block it with his hand, and it was partially successful. But it soon found that the entire hand he had used was demolished in an instant.
The otsutsuki tsked, as he forced his contract to rebuild itself. "All your monkey friends, why don't you give up and die like the swine you are!" He roared, as he aimed his hand towards the fox-like construct, firing one of the stored jutsu with his rinnegan.
Naruto acted fast, using one of his shadow clones to help sustain his battling construct as he launched himself from Kurama's head.
Fire descended upon him and Kurama, the blaze being so large that it was larger than any of Madara's Katon jutsu he had seen him use, as it glowed within a white blazing heat.
He acted quick, as his eyes gained their usual cross-like slits… but without the orange pigmentation around his eyes.
It had been some time since he'd activated this form, not even bothering to use it against toneri out of fear of the unknown chaos he could inflict.
But this time he didn't have to worry about the backlash. This god had to pay, and he used the only way he knew how… with a tremendous beat down.
Forming his usual truth-seeking orbs, something he had been able to reproduce with a mix of all the bijuu's chakra, as well as his yin and Yang release.
He spread the black orb's substance wide, encompassing all he could to shield his friend, the orbs' decimating any and all techniques they touched.
The otsutsuki's eyes widened, having never seen a technique like this before. But as the orb contracted upon itself, he saw that the blonde Uzumaki was nowhere to be seen.
Turning his head and reacting just in time, he saw the golden haired Hokage, a large spiral sphere within his palm. Reaching his arm out just in time to absorb the technique, he noticed the smirk upon his opponent's face, as the Naruto he had seen before him burst into smoke.
Quickly turning around, the otsutsuki witnesses a blackened, small rasengan pulsing with darkened energy.
He'd tried to absorb the technique, but he found himself unable to do so. It wasn't that he was slow enough to not be able to reach it in time, no, it was as if his rinnegan's abilities were unable to do so.
"I-impossible!" He exclaimed in shock, unable to comprehend what was happening .
The black orb struck into his abdomen, and it was easily the most painful thing the god had ever experienced. It felt as if every single atom within his body was being destroyed, like his very souls was being struck down.
He hated it.
And like a bullet, the parasitic god was sent shooting off like a bullet.
The orbs explosion was large, reaching a size larger than any rasenshuriken that had come before it.
And it was at that moment the otsutsuki's chakra construct had slowed, slowing just enough so that Kurama could strike upon it with its many tails as he leapt up.
As they winded themselves across its face, coiling around it. If the beast had been living, then it likely would have suffocated to death.
Sadly, the golem did nothing of the sort, and as such, it required a more destructive touch.
Kurama widened its maw, as blue and red energy coalesced together. Another orb forming at its snout, this one growing larger and larger than ever before.
The tailed beast bomb was so large that it had reached a size similar to the one Kurama had used to counter the one from the combined attacks of the two through seven tailed beasts during the Fourth Great Ninja War.
But instead of launching the orb, Kurama did something different.
He swallowed it.
Even as the golem was punching upon his form, the fox held its grip on the monster.
And as he swallowed the dense orb of chakra, his chest and body expanded.
As the fox then opened its mouth, a spray of white-hot energy and plasma left its jaw as his opponent was struck. The powerful spitfire reached it in a near instant, the golem being hit at point-blank as it was completely destroyed.
Unfortunately, it seemed Kurama and the shadow clone had used too much of the chakra it had been given, as the construct soon dissipated.
But the fox was content with this outcome, as it had done its job, defeating the otsutsuki's own construct and preventing it from attacking Naruto.
All this exchange happened within seconds.
The smoke cleared around Naruto, as the blonde was met with a sight he expected, never dropping his guard for a single second.
Momoshiki otsutsuki still stood, even with the combined attack of a rasenshuriken and a truth-seeking orb, he still hadn't been taken out.
But it was then that he collapsed to the ground, his knees being unable to hold him.
"Impossible, impossible, impossible, Impossible!" Momoshiki roared, slamming his fist upon the ground each time he spoke. The very action paining him as it hurt his body to even breathe, moving was much harder.
The Otsutsuki was heavily damaged, with several cuts and burns across his skin and abdomen.
"Vermin like you should never be able to stand up to us!" The white god said as his fist tightened. "Even if you kill all of your kind, you still stand against me!" He raged, as his rinnegan glared into the blonde Hokage's cold cerulean eyes.
It was as if the blonde was looking down at him! He shouldn't be doing that, he shouldn't be losing. He had killed all of this man's kind, soured his spirit. His soul had been broken, or it should have been.
But even still this monkey had fought him, defying all logic, as he laid his hands upon him, damaging his godly figure.
Naruto silently looked down upon the angry otsutsuki, as a rasengan formed within his hands.
"My Name is Naruto Uzumaki," he started.
He remembered all his friends: Shikamaru, Gaara, Choji, Kiba, Shizune, Ino, Lee, Tenten, even Shino and so much more.
"I was given the title of the seventh Hokage of the now destroyed Konohagakure no Sato…"
He remembered his family: Hinata, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, Iruka, Konohamaru, Tsunade, Ayame…
"I defeated Pein, I saved the world and I sealed Kaguya, all with the help of my friends."
He remembered his children: Boruto and little Himawari.
"I was only able to do these things, get this far because of the people around me… people you killed."
With each name he remembered, his rasengan grew, reaching the size nearly comparable to a tailed beast bomb.
Naruto glared down upon him, "You are nothing but a parasite, feasting upon the life of all worlds, you have no right to live," he told the god. "Prepare to die," he said, as he aimed his rasengan towards momoshiki.
"I refuse!" Momoshiki roared, as he shot up. "I refuse to die! Refuse to be killed by a lowly human like you!" He spat, using the rinnegan within his palm to form one last attack with the remaining chakra he had.
"I curse you, Naruto Uzumaki!" The god invoked, "I curse the day you were born and the day you die! For as long as you live your strength will be gone, your reason to live will always be revoked! Your remaining days will be filled with nothing but torment!" He called out, as the rasengan he had absorbed earlier formed within his own palm.
But this spiraling sphere was larger, reaching a size similar to that of Naruto's own, as its pigmentation was of a darkened red.
"I Momoshiki Otsutsuki curse you! To the end of your days!" The god invoked, but Naruto was unfazed.
Their rasengan struck, as each of their arms burned from the glow, their skin melting for the sheer amount of pressure.
… As a final explosion struck the Ninja world.
XXX
"...Senpai... Emiya-Senpai..." she called out, awakening her sleeping upperclassmen.
Said upperclassman was a 17-year-old male with red, spiky hair and golden eyes. He was dressed in a raggedy-old blue boiler suit that he used to keep his normal clothes clean while he was working on one of his "projects".
He must have fallen asleep with while working on it... again.
As he began to rise, the sight he was greeted with was of a familiar face.
A young girl, about 16 years of age, with long purple hair and eyes, stood in front of him. She was dressed in their academy's female uniform. While the left side of her hair was tied up by a bright red ribbon, her other side was left to flow freely, framing the right side of her face completely.
"Ahhh," he groaned, "Good-morning Sakura." Shirou Emiya greeted.
Sakura adjusted her hair as she pulled a loose strand over her ear. "Good-morning, Senpai." She greeted back.
"Uhh..." he questioned.
Sakura, understanding the message, answered, "There's still some time left, but it is unusual for you to oversleep." She told him.
"Yeah, I fell asleep while fixing this guy over here." He gestured to the broken piece of machinery he'd been working on. "Sorry," Shirou apologized.
"Don't be; I'd be happier if you would oversleep from time to time," she told him. "It would make it worthwhile for me to take care of you."
Shirou smiled at his lowerclassmen, as he quickly got up from his sitting position. "All right, let's get ready for breakfast." He told her, as he patted the dust off of his clothes., but his purple haired companion only shook her head.
"It's too late for us to cook anything, and besides you're too dirty." Sakura told him. "Why don't we just head to Ichiraku's, I'm sure Fujimura-sensei will meet us there" She suggested.
"Good idea," the red haired boy conceded at her gaze, before he paid attention to what he was wearing. "Yeah, Fuji-nee will knock me through the roof if she sees me like this." He laughed,
XXX
"So the idiot overslept, tinkering on his work again, huh?" A blonde-haired man laughed. "Yeah, that sounds like our Shirou," smiled looking towards the red-haired boy.
The boy in question shrieked under his gaze, "It doesn't happen that often, does it?" He asked sheepishly.
The chef smirked, "Not too often, but you always end up here somehow, if I didn't know any better, I'd think you enjoyed my company too much."
Shirou blushed a little, embarrassed at the fact that his words were true, for some reason or another, they always ended up meeting at this restaurant for breakfast, it was actually where he's learned to cook for himself.
He scratched his cheek, squirming in his seat, "Well it's not that but…" he trailed off.
Sakura rebuffed his claim, "Nonsense, we both like coming here Naruto-San," the purple haired girl told him with a smile.
"I'm glad to hear it," Naruto told her, matching her expression. Before a slightly frustrated sigh left his mouth.
"But I thought I told you already, you don't have to refer to me so formally," he reminded. "You can even call me big brother if you'd like," he teased.
The purple haired girl blushed slightly, but she nodded. "O-okay, N-Naruto-nii."
Naruto clapped his hands with a smile, "Great, now here are your orders," he told them, as he placed their food upon the counter.
"Hello~!" Another voice sounded throughout the small stand, as a short brown haired woman burst through the flaps of the restaurant.
"Hello, Taiga-san," Naruto greeted with a nod, acknowledging the woman's presence. Although it wasn't hard to notice, given how loud her entrance was.
"Hey Naruto," she greeted back offhandedly, as the chef put down her usual order on the counter of the stand.
The woman muttered a quick thanks and promptly dig into her meal. Not even bothering for a second to acknowledge her two students, as she devoured her meal like a ravenous tiger feasting upon a gazelle. As such, she at her meal so quickly that she finished much faster than either Sakura or Shirou had thought possible, even faster than themselves.
Hadn't they arrived sooner?
Taiga Fujimura licked her plate, eating the last bits of rice from her meal, leaning back in her chair as she savored the taste.
"As always, your meal was fantastic," the brown haired woman said with a content sigh. Before she turned to her red haired student, "if only Shirou could get so good," she teased.
"Oh really, just so you can mooch off me even more?" Shirou shot back, as his teacher huffed.
Naruto laughed at their exchange, but he also waved them off. "Oh, don't worry, shirou is getting better and better every day, he's already a good chef, so I don't doubt he'll reach my level soon enough," he stated, as he went into the back.
But as he left he told them something offhandedly, "And besides, I didn't get into cooking until a little while ago, before then in was always pretty bad with all this," he stated offhandedly, as he left the trio.
Sakura and Shirou's eyes widened, and even Taiga seemed surprised at the comment, but not for what you'd expect.
Naruto never talked about his past.
No matter how many times they'd asked him about it, he'd always shut his mouth or dodged the question entirely. As far as they knew, the man had showed up randomly a couple of years ago, opening up his restaurant, a small ramen stand that sold a number of other Japanese cuisines.
The man was always friendly, engaging with them in their lives, and all in all, helping the two students whenever they'd needed it.
Naruto Uzumaki was always a kind person. He was so easy to talk to, you wanted to be friends with him. It was as if something about him made it so you needed to tell him about your problems, and the man would solve them for you.
But the man never talked about himself. And whenever they'd tried to converse with him about it as well, but eventually they'd all given up on the pursuit.
It was just then that Naruto came out of the back, bringing a fresh new tray of food with him as he did so.
He noticed their faces almost immediately.
"Okay… what's wrong?" Naruto questioned, still having his usual chipper smile on his face.
Sakura tried to answer for them, "Well, it's just… Er—"
Shirou interrupted her, being as blunt as ever, "You never talk about your past," he stated.
Naruto frowned a little, remembering what he said, but he quickly tried to hide it back with his usual smile.
"Oh, well, it's just there's not really much to talk about," he tried to explain, using his usual excuse to try and dodge the question. It was then that he placed the food he had brought out once again on the counter top, not meeting any of them in the eyes.
"But it's just—" Sakura tried to say.
"You never want to talk about it, EVER," Shirou finished bluntly.
Naruto frowned a little, remembering what he had just said, but he quickly tried to hide it back with his usual smile.
Naruto finished placing down the new meals in front of the kids, taking their dirtied dishes as he did so.
"Well there's not much to say," he told them once again, placing the stacked dishes upon his hip. "I only started getting into cooking a few years ago, and before then I was pretty hopeless at it." He told them, heading to the back to place the dishes within the sink.
What he told them wasn't a lie.
He had only gotten into cooking not too long ago, using some of the recipes the Ichiraku's gave him long ago as a way to remember them. Before then it was usually Hinata who had done the cooking.
But that was before…
He cut himself from that line of thinking, as he went back to his longtime customers.
Clapping his hands together he reminded them of something, "As much as I'd love to speak on this matter I think it's safe to say you folks better head to school, you don't want to be late after all," Naruto told them, reminding them of the time.
And as he showed them a clock upon his wall the three's eyes widened, as they all began scarfing down each of their meals until nothing was left, hastily putting down some money as they did so.
Naruto chuckled, it was usually like this given that they normally ran out of time. And the three were school nuts, well, Shirou and Sakura were, so they showed up early and left late to school.
Naruto then went to check the front of the shop, looking upon the residual dust trail that Shirou and Taiga left running down the streets.
It was only then, when they were far enough that he called out to someone, "Alright, Rin, you can come out now," he said, as the loud sounds of cans rattling could be heard from a nearby alley.
Out stepped a girl, one with teal blue eyes and dark hair tied in twin tails. She wore the same attire as Sakura, that being the standard Homurahara school uniform.
"Naruto, how do you always know where I'm at?" The girl huffed, crossing her arms as she did so.
Naruto chuckled, "Well, Rin, considering you're out here nearly everyday it isn't hard to guess if you'll be here or not," he told her.
Rin stomped her foot, "Yeah well, you could at least try to not notice," she told him, but Naruto only patted her head, still laughing as he did so.
"And you could try to come inside every once in a while," he told her, as the girl blushed at the affection in his voice and gesture. "Honestly, you should just go inside, hiding from that boy you like won't do you any good," Naruto said, as Rin's face resembled a tomato with her redness.
But that embarrassment soon turned into frustration, "Like Shirou? As if I could ever like an idiot like that!" She huffed.
"Yeah, Yeah," Naruto waved her off, but with the girl's glare he did relent on the teasing about her supposed crush, the girl really was a tsundere wasn't she?
"So, are you going to get something to eat or just stand out here?" Naruto asked, referencing the fact that they both were still standing outside his restaurant.
And as Rin was going to speak, something else answered for her.
Rumble.
Rin's Tohsaka's stomach sounded so loudly that it nearly resembled an earthquake.
Naruto smirked at this, as Rin felt like she wanted to die. As such, the tsundere's face was once again lit within a royal red hue.
"Hey! You shouldn't— I— stop it!" She cried, noticing her companion's teasing smirk hadn't lessened one bit.
All Rin could do was hold her head low, not being able to meet the blonde's gaze. "Yeah, I'm hungry, I didn't have breakfast this morning, okay," she admitted in defeat.
As something was nearly shoved in her face.
Rin's eyes widened in surprise as she looked up, seeing Naruto handing her a brown package.
"I assumed you were going to be hungry, that's why I wrapped something for you to eat on your way to school," he told her with a smile.
Tentatively taking the package, Rin looked into the blonde haired man's eyes, as her light teal eyes met his caring cerulean ones, she couldn't help but match his smile.
It was strange, it was like it was contagious.
"Great! Now school is gonna start soon, why don't you head on to class before you're too late," Naruto reminded, as Rin nodded, remembering the time.
She didn't want people to think of her as anything but the perfect student, after all.
But as she walked off, she remembered something as she stopped in her tracks. "Hey Naruto?" Rin called out, gaining the still smiling blonde's attention as he was trying to head back into his restaurant.
Naruto raised an eyebrow, "Rin, what is it?" He asked in confusion.
The girl nervously clutched onto the back of her wrist, as well as covering the red markings that covered it. Shrouding the command seals she had received not too long ago as she squirmed on her feet.
Naruto saw them, but decided not to comment on it as the girl thought about her next sentence.
"Will you…" she paused, "Will you try to keep yourself safe?" Rin finished, "Just for the next few weeks," she added slightly worriedly.
Naruto gained a small smile, "Oh? Does that mean you actually care about an old man like me?" He teased.
Rin spun around, meeting his eyes as she bawled her fists at her side, "Naruto, I'm serious," she glared, before she realized his words and with a faint dusting on her cheeks she continued. "It's just with all the gas leaks all around, I want you to be a lot safer from now on," she tried to explain, using the excuse the media put up to try and dissuade the blonde from going out.
But at Naruto's serious gaze she wilted, once again squirming in her place as she looked down. "If you got injured, it would be hard to track down Shirou and—" Rin rambled, but stopped her words as a firm hand was placed upon her head.
"It's fine that you're worried about me," Naruto stated, as Rin looked up to see a smile that was brighter than the sun. "Honestly, it makes me happy that you do," he told her, even if the worries were ultimately useless.
"I-I—" Rin stuttered, as she heated up, it was as if she was gazing at the sun itself.
But she quickly changed her tune, smacking the hand that was placed upon her head as she stormed off.
"It's not that I like you or anything," she huffed, walking away from the blonde.
Naruto chuckled, that was oh so Rin, as he remembered just how he'd met the girl.
XXX
"You know, when stalking someone you should be a bit more sneaky," he commented, masquerading that he was going to take the black haired girl's plates once Sakura and Shirou had finally left the restaurant.
The restaurant was small, so he had to get creative with the placement of dining spaces. So he'd placed some small tables outside the restaurant, remembering seeing something similar done in the original Ichiraku's.
He'd noticed, through the flaps of the curtains, this girl had been hastily looking towards the two guests every few minutes or so, it had been so obvious that he couldn't notice she was eying the two.
She even wore the stereotypical brown trench coat and sunglasses, using a newspaper to hide her face. Seriously, who did that?
"I-I have no idea what you're talking about," Rin told
him, stuttering a little in surprise at the fact that she had been caught.
"Yeah, sure you don't," Naruto told her sarcastically, not believing her lie for a second.
Rin's mind was in overdrive trying to come up with an excuse. "Well, I— Y-You—" her mind finally settled on something.
Switching to her usually good-girl personality, the one she always used during school hours.
Contorting her face into a blank expression, she told him calmly. "Sir, I'm afraid I don't know what you mean."
Her voice was clear, her face was cute, as she acted like the standard school idol she was.
Yes, it would only be a matter of time for this adult to be in the palm of her hands, like all the other adults before him.
Naruto eye smiled, "Yeah, I'm not buying that for a second."
Rin held her head low, how could her best technique be defeated so quickly?
Naruto chuckled at the girl's antics, but he didn't let her little bout of depression last too long.
Clapping his hands together, he asked the girl. "So, did you enjoy it?"
"Wh-what?" She asked, not understanding what he meant.
"Did you enjoy your food while you were here?" Naruto elaborated. "What did you think I was talking about?" He asked.
"N-nothing," she said, a red blush forming across her face. Deciding to change the subject, she answered his question. "Oh, yeah, your food was really good."
Better than good, in fact, it was probably the best thing she'd ever eaten, not that she'd paid attention to it.
"Oh really, well, that's great!" Naruto smiled, happy that his food was being complemented. "I'm glad you could enjoy your meal while you were stalking those two," he teased.
"St-stalking?!" Rin repeated in shock, there was that word again.
She wasn't stalking Sakura or Shirou, she'd just so happened to see the two together, a lot. She couldn't help but get curious about the two, so she'd followed them to this small restaurant, being ever so careful to hide herself, so the two wouldn't spot her.
But it wasn't stalking! Rin Tohsaka never stalked anyone, and that was a fact.
She didn't!
Naruto nodded, she was totally stalking them. "Yeah, and your technique was totally off. You stand out way too much, and the trench coat and sunglasses don't work at all," he told her.
Hinata had informed him on proper stalking techniques, how she'd known them he didn't know. But his late wife seemed like she'd been fairly knowledgeable on the subject, strange?
"For the last time, I wasn't stalking them!" She shouted in indignation, not having liked her attire being ridiculed.
"Yeah, sure you weren't," Naruto told her.
She totally was, it was obvious. He could always spot a stalker from a mile away, couldn't he?
Rin clutched at her head, shouting in frustration as she did so, angry at the fact this adult didn't believe her.
Naruto noticed something, "you know, you're fairly pretty," he said from out of nowhere, observing her face as he held onto his chin.
Rin's face lit up in a bright red blush, "W-what?!" She stuttered out, being embarrassed at the man's proximity. She could even feel his hot breath across her smooth neck.
Why was this man so close? And besides, what kind of moron just outright said that?!
"Yeah," Naruto nodded, "your face almost reminds me of little Sakura-chan's," he said offhandedly, noticing the two's similar facial structures.
But to Rin that statement shook her in place, could this man—
"Nah, probably just my imagination," Naruto said as he waved that notion off.
He leaned on the table, even as the dirty dishes rattled against the furniture.
"So, do you have a little crush on Shirou?" Naruto teased, as the girl's face was covered even redder than before. "Yeah I understand that, I was your age once, I had crushes too," well, a crush. "Never considered stalking, but what floats your boat, I guess," he commented, as he looked at the girl once again.
Red.
That could be the only thing to describe the girl's face. He didn't even know a girl could get so embarrassed.
The last time he'd ever seen a girl overheat that much was that time he accidentally scared Hinata when he hung himself on the ceiling. That day was strange, he didn't mean to scare the girl so bad that she'd passed out.
But it all worked out, didn't it?
Stopping himself from those thoughts, the girl's brain had finally rebooted.
"I-Idiot!!!!!" She shouted, that single word being the only thing that came to the forefront of her mind.
Naruto chuckled.
XXX
It had been a year or so since that day, and ever since then he had seen the girl come around here, usually when she was spying on Sakura and Shirou, or just coming over just to talk to him.
Honestly, he liked the girl, she was fun enough, and she helped brighten his mood while she was around.
He only wished she could be a bit more honest with herself… oh how little he knew.
Heading back inside, he noticed the dirtied dishes that lay within the sink, dishes he'd placed within the sink before he'd interacted with the dark haired girl.
He saw the mirror in front of him as well.
It had been about five years since that dreaded day, and ever since then his face hadn't changed much. Although to be fair, his face hadn't changed much since he was in his mid-twenties.
Kurama said something about Uzumaki vitality or something, and at the time he hadn't really paid attention to it too much.
But apparently Mito Uzumaki, Kurama's first Jinchuriki, had been much the same. Not really aging until her sixties, but it was at that point Kurama's chakra had won out.
Having had the Kyuubi seal within her when she was fully mature, not as a child like him or his mother. The woman's body hadn't adapted to its chakra enough, and as such, she'd aged much faster once her uzumaki vitality ran out.
Kushina, his mother and Kurama's first jinchuriki, was much the same. Or she would have been, had she not died prematurely.
In all likelihood, if he didn't die in battle or something like that, with his Uzumaki vitality, he would likely survive for 150 years or so.
Not something he disliked, but also not something he liked either.
But if it was up to him, he'd rather have died with…
Pushing those thoughts away, he went about his business once again.
XXX
Hours later.
"Alright little girl, I'm sorry to tell you this, but your execution must be carried out, master ordered so," a man said, as he closed in on her.
The man's companion, a tall old man with a wispy beard who wore a large black hat and coat. "Yeah, shame too, she would have given me a hefty sum of money within the trade." The other Commented.
"Quiet, Columbus, we have a job to do," the first male, a dull-looking man with spiky white hair and blue eyes, said. As his long dark coat he wore billowed in the wind, a color that contrasted against his large purple tie.
The tall man, Columbus, frowned. "Yeah, yeah, Sanson, always with the executions on your mind, never anything else." He told his companion.
It was then that both of their eyes turned towards their target, as they closed in on her in the dead-end of an alley.
The girl, a young child, around the age of 8, with long teal hair, golden eyes, an oversized white and gold kimono, and the cutest pearly white hairs atop her head.
And currently, her eyes looked at the two men.
She couldn't give up, not now, not until she found him. She knew he was out there, somewhere.
They were destined to meet after all.
She knew that.
She wouldn't allow these two men to stop her from meeting him. And as her golden eyes lit up like a bright flame, she resolved herself…
She'd kill these men for interfering with her love.

Things hadn't turned out like she had planned. She had managed to kill one of her enemies, he had been incredibly weak, so much so that it hadn't taken her much time to dispose of him.
But the other one had been far more difficult, and even in her madness, she realized she couldn't fight him… or she would die.
Something she couldn't allow, she needed to find her destined one, she knew he was close, all of her instincts told her as such.
Her kimono was torn, hair disheveled, as bruises littered across her skin, as sweat dripped down her brow. It seemed she hadn't made it out as unscathed as she had hoped, but she wouldn't let that slow her down.
She ran through the streets of Fuyuki, the only thought permeating her mind was that she needed to escape.
She thought she lost that man, until…
"It seems we underestimated you, that won't happen again," Sanson told her, as he stepped out of a nearby alleyway. His partner, Columbus, having been slain because of their ignorance.
He now possessed a large sword, something that he had gained during their fight. And to contrast her own appearance, he didn't appear to be damaged whatsoever.
Her golden eyes widened as she saw him, she hadn't even sensed him being there at all.
The Assassin class servant pointed his sword at her, "it's time for your execution," he told her
As the white haired man crossed the distance between them, in nearly an instant, the girl's golden eyes widened, not expecting him to move so fast, or perhaps she was moving too slow?
Nevertheless, he seemed to begin to cross the distance between them. Jumping high into the hair as he began to strike down upon the young girl.
Severing her head completely, as it fell off of her shoulders… or it would have, had somebody else not interfered.
Because the white haired Assassin class servant had struck nothing but air.
He realized this too, as he turned to his side, seeing just what had happened.
"You know, I don't particularly condone the executions of children, especially when they happen right in front of me," a voice spoke, as the servant saw a figure next to him.
Blond hair, blue eyes, whiskered cheeks, his peculiar appearance caused his white haired eyebrow to raise.
Just who was this man?
As the blond removed himself from his crouching position, the Assassin realized exactly what had happened.
For, in this man's arms, was the intact figure of the berserker class servant he had been hunting.
Fast.
Just how fast would this person have to be in order to cross the distance between them and retrieve the girl before he could react?
Was he a servant? No, at least he didn't think so, he didn't sense a spirit core coming off of this man, nor any mana to begin with. This man couldn't be a servant, nor a magus, so just who was he.
He voiced this question. "Oh, and just who are you?" Assassin asked.
And surprisingly, the man answered. "Just a simple ramen shop owner, who doesn't like kids being hurt," the blonde told him, motioning to the small ramen stand they were outside off, as he sent a glare towards the servant.
A glare that could send shivers down any person's spine.
This servant was no different.
As the sheer amount of pressure he felt almost made his knees buckle in place, as a bead of sweat ran down his forehead.
"I see," Assassin stated, thinking about the situation, as he shouldered his larger blade. "Then I will be off, it seems that this execution has been postponed," he told him.
This was the best course of action, he didn't know a thing about this male's abilities, nor his motivations. But judging by this display, he wasn't in the best position should things come down to a fight.
The child Berserker would be a small loss, but not anything major… he just wished he didn't have to tell his master about his failure.
Leaping into the air, he used the building rooftops as a quick escape, hoping the blonde man wouldn't follow.
As the Assassin class servant left, Naruto watching his retreating figure, he kept his full focus on him.
Debating whether to go after him, he decided checking on the girl's health would be the better course of action.
And as he looked down, he saw the girl's golden eyes bleary stare up at him.
Warm.
That was all she felt, as she was wrapped in this male's arms.
She felt safe, she felt content, and she felt… happy. Yes, she felt happy.
As this man looked down at her, she knew, this man was the one who she was searching for, there was no doubt.
It seemed her body knew this as well, as she felt an immense wave of exhaustion overtake her.
She could barely make out his words.
But she saw the kindness and worry within this man's blue eyes.
Her heart skipped a beat, and it was decided… she would stay with this man forever.
Naruto wasn't thinking along the same lines, as he checked over this girl for injuries. Luckily, nothing the man had done seemed to have any lasting damage.
Should she take this girl to a hospital? Maybe, but there was no guarantee that that man wouldn't come after her.
Did she have any parents to get back to? Maybe, but he didn't know exactly where to even take her.
Plus… she seemed to be gripping on to him, very hard. The young girl had quite the grip, and even in her unconscious state, he could tell she wouldn't let go.
It was also getting late, he had just been closing up his shop before he had saw this altercation take place.
Sighing, he resolved himself to his solution. Bringing them both inside his ramen stand, would settle this in the morning, hopefully the girl would wake up in the morning… or at least let go of him then.
End Chapter.
An: Another story that popped into my head, cause why not?
This will be a bit of a longer one, not Phantom of the Underworld long, but long enough that it will probably exceed Dark storms in length.
This story is mostly about an older Naruto, coming across many of the child servants within fate, as well as some of the others. So it may be pretty lighthearted, with some darker tones that have been a standard within my stories.
As for the pairing? Well, I think Shirou/Sakura is a given, but if he then that it's up for debate.
Naruto will probably get a harem, because… reasons.
I may include Rin with Naruto, everybody loves a tsundere. But aside from that, who else?
Medusa?
Medea?
Raikou?
Artoria?
So many servants, so many options. Fate is a series I've grown to love, and the characters more so.
I don't have any real big plans for this story, I know how it will end, know how it'll begin, and some parts in between but not all of them, so please suggest somethings if you get any ideas.
