The Name of a Monster

How long had he been wandering. He didn't know or care, he just continued forward ignoring the cries and pleas to return. Why did they want him? He didn't deserve to be there, he had tarnished their love. Didn't they know that? Why would they want him back? To punish him further? No, they were too good. And he wasn't good enough for them. Attila felt his stomach growl and twist in on itself; He hadn't eaten in two days. He didn't deserve to eat. He caused death he caused pain and misery so he shouldn't eat.

He didn't deserve love, warmth all the kindness his brothers and family had shown them. He only deserved to die alone before he hurt anyone else….

Carol had taken off in her car and began to search for April. Unfortunately she had lost her in the storm she was worried about what had suddenly gotten into her daughter. She eventually found her way to Central park where she saw what looked like a Fox Girl standing outside the gates watching something.

"What in the world?" she asked parking quietly and getting in close as she spoke.

"Mikey? It is Mikey!" she shouted texting before running off faster than Carol could hope for. She recognized the name April had said it and she followed the girl in.

Krysta couldn't believe it he was there right there wandering around Central park. He was close to the lake but she didn't care. She rushed forward happy and relieved to see him. "MIKEY!" she called he turned to her and gasped his eyes wide as lightning struck revealing her coming towards him.

"STAY BACK!" he screeched holding his hands out as his violet eyes had dulled even further. Krysta could see that he had gone pale in the time he had disappeared like the saturation had been sucked out of his color. He held his hands out backing away as Krysta had tried to get closer but stopped. He let out a broken breathe as the rain poured down.

"I'm the reason, this happened to you….the reason your family is dead! The reason you and so many others lost their humanity! And have been through Hell since! It's all because of me! I've put my family through hell! I ruined my Father's life! I was created to kill! I'm a monster!"

"No Michel-"

"I DON'T DESERVE THAT NAME!" he screamed sobs breaking through his throat. Was he crying? She couldn't tell in the pouring rain, "I'm bad and I'll always be bad! I only deserve the name of a Monster….Attila…."

"Attila…" Krysta muttered the gears turning in her head. "But that means he named you for-"

"Attila the Hun," Said a new voice. They turned to see Baron Draxum looking down on them Mikey whimpered going to scurry away but the entire Northern path was blocked by thorny vines. All of them purple meaning Draxum had created them. "A Terrifying and fearsome human: His goal was to destroy an entire Empire. And while he didn't succeed entirely he did decimate it. Humans of all identities gender and age fell to his blood lust!" he declared as Mikey who had gone rigid trembling in place as Krysta glared growling at Draxum. "It was believed he had the stare of a Demon. He was known amongst your former kind as the Scourge of God!"

"I know who Attila the Hun is!" Krysta growled. "And unfortunately for you: Michelangelo is nothing like that!"

"That's the problem! I've seen other Mutants more willing than him. He's the one with Bleeding Heart but thanks to the Foot Clan I have a solution. The Dark Armor will swallow his weak soul and Heart and then he will truly be able to fulfill his destiny!"

Mikey gasped he shook his head at the thought of being forced to wear that horrible mystic armor. In that moment the rain had stopped and tears as he shook his head silently begging against it began to pool at the corner of his eyes. Draxum glared and summoned two thick vines to strike Michelangelo he winced and closed his eyes. Instead he saw Krysta having jumped between them and both had struck her hard on both shoulders she let out a cry of pain as his eyes widened in horror.

Krysta sucked in a breath before glaring back up at Draxum. "I've felt worse…." She growled before jumping up with a punch at Draxum which he guarded expertly however she twisted her body around and landed a kick in the side of the face stunning him long enough for her to ram him in the stomach and sent a flurry of Punches knocking him back however more vines came and whipped at her. She jumped up and ran and climbed all around them before freezing her fists and going in for another punch which he only ended up blocking with his large weapon gauntlet and pushed her back. she skid on her knees before getting back up again trying to charge energy in her legs, only for ice to pool around her.

"Macho Fury Gespatcho-" she was punched in the gut by Draxum's smaller hand she fell to her knees coughing hitting her body against the ice as pain blossomed in her ribs and legs.

"Your little ice powers don't allow you to pull off a move like, that. For obvious reasons," Draxum mocked her as if she was too stupid to know that. "You've been imitating Lou Jitsu's cheesy movies. But that's all you are." He said backhanding her off to the side. Draxum started moving in on her. She got to her feet and looked at Mikey who was still standing there eyes wide in horror.

"Mikey run now!" she shouted.

"He's not brave enough," Draxum replied simply. Krysta charged again making a spear around her arm as she went to stab him however he crushed her spear with his own before using his large gauntlet to swipe at her and she was sent flying back with several rolls as she hit a nearby bathroom hard she lay there limp as Mikey screamed in horror. Three of Draxum's claws had cut her arm and face. One slash over her eye while two had ended up on her left arm. Blood was immediately staining her beautiful white fur as she laid there motionless. "KRYSTA, KRYSTA!" Mikey shouted his voice cracking as he rushed over to her only for Draxum to grab him in his vines. "No Krysta! Krysta!" he shouted as vines covered his mouth his hand still out stretched to her.

"STOP!" a voice suddenly said Mikey and Draxum looked over the former recognized the woman as Carol in a green rain jacket with the hood down. She was glaring at Draxum who merely smirked.

"Oh how cute and what's the puny human going to do to stop me-"

Psssssstttt!

"RAAAUUUUGGGGGGHHHHH! WHAT IS THIS HORRID CONCOCTION!?" Draxum roared in pain from the spray that Carol had suddenly sprayed into his eyes. Causing him to drop Mikey who raced over to Krysta and was immediately followed by Carol both helped Krysta to her feet. Mikey grabbed her hand as Carol grabbed his.

"This way hurry!" Carol shouted leading them along as Draxum pulled off his Gauntlet and helmet in an attempt to wipe the Mace out of his eyes. The minute he had washed it out with the nearby lake water he turned and snarled seeing the small car take off summoning the discarded armor back to him he immediately raced after them on vines.

Carol had to quickly wrap Krysta's arm and head in bandages before rushing away in the car. Krysta was soon coming too as she sat up and looked around seeing Mikey beside, her trembling. "Krysta!" he choked out.

"I'm okay Mikey…" she groaned and noticed what she was in. "Uh oh."

"It's gonna be okay you two." Carol assured back to them.

"You're not concerned about this whole situation?" Krysta asked flipping her open hands towards herself.

"Honey, I'm more worried about the plant-Goat man hybrid that-Is currently coming after us!" Carol half screamed.

Krysta looked out the window and gasped Draxum was chasing after them. Using his vines as legs to quickly catch up, Mikey had curled up into a ball trying not to go into his shell as Carol swore and began speeding away faster.

"Well it was a short rain shower so I suppose we should be grateful for that." Donnie muttered.

"The Tanks finally here let's just find somewhere else to look." Raph grumbled when they suddenly saw Carol's car rushing towards them.

"Is that Carol's car, and Draxum!?" Leo gasped in shock. They watch the two rush by.

"Why is Draxum going after Carol?" Raph asked suspiciously as Donnie scanned the car with his goggles.

"Because Mikey and Krysta are inside!" he gasped in alarm. "Everybody into the tank!" he shouted as he began rushing towards it. Raph and Leo hot on his heels.

As soon as they were in Raph hit the gas and raced off after Draxum. Donnie was immediately calling up Splinter and April. Once he finished he radioed Shelldon.

"Shelldon we've got a Code Red! Repeat Code Read lock onto the Tank and rendezvous with us!" Donnie instructed.

"On it!" Shelldon called back determinedly, as they got in range of Draxum who had grabbed onto Carol's car. Donnie readied the Bowling ball Canon.

"Eateth, Bowling balls!" Donnie shouted launching them. Draxum was hit in the back by one while dodging and blocking the rest as Carol had to crash stop the car as it tumbled around once before stopping right side up.

Draxum had jumped on top of the Tank and began banging at the wind shield when they heard Splinter cry out.

"HOT SOOOOUUUUUUPP!" he shouted slamming into Draxum with a punch and knocking him back off the tank and right into the ground.

"Eat lasers Goat Butt!" shouted Shelldon as he and several Rhumba droids having shaped themselves into small flat fighter jet like droids all of home were spraying Draxum with a shower of lasers. "Booyakasha!" Shelldon shouted spinning out of the way of his vines as he swatted at them and even sending a furry of bricks to almost hit the whole group Shelldon getting barley grazed.

"Shelldon!" Donnie shouted from within the tank.

Meanwhile April had rushed over to the car as Carol kicked her door open. She groaned getting out rushing to the back to see Mikey whimpering as April helped him and Krysta out. "Are you guys okay?!" April asked.

"I'm fine, just extremely confused; When did I step into a sci-fi Fantasy anime!?" Carol gasped gesturing to the fight between Splinter and Shelldon plus drones.

"I'll explain everything later I promise! We just gotta get into that tank!" April said pointing to the Turtle tank Carol nodded as Krysta held on to Mikey following them as snuck around to the back.

"NO!" Draxum shouted as he saw the group of four pass him. He charged for Mikey but Splinter landed his own Macho Fury Gazpacho kick on him sending him sprawling across the ground as they entered and the Tank quickly closed. Draxum turned to Splinter with furious eyes as the rain began to fall again lighting crashing through out the battle field as Splinter jumped with a round house kick which Draxum dodged out of the way of. He then jumped with a kick that Splinter back out of the way from before grabbing him with his tail and slamming him into the ground before spinning like a ball and slamming into Draxum's back making him slam back into the road.

Draxum however quickly rolled around and swung his large battle Gauntlet at Splinter who managed to roll over it and went to spin with a Tail whip only to gasp in pain as he clutched his chest and fell to the ground as Draxum punched back towards the Tank.

"His Ribs!" Raph cried remembering how when Mikey kicked him the other night. Mikey gasped in horror as his brothers screamed out for their father. However before Draxum could land a killing blow Tiger Claw appeared, grabbing his Gauntlet hand and pushing back against him. Forcing Draxum to jump away and slam his vines down. Tiger Claw grabbed them and whipped them back scathing Draxum on his own attack as the Goat Yokai jumped away and the two circled each other snarling. Leo immediately noticed Tiger Claw wasn't in his Night Watcher outfit instead he had a ripped sleeve jean vest with buttons and darker jeans with a belt. Clearly he wouldn't have time to change. The Slider also noticed stripes on his elbow's similar to Raph's.

April and Donnie managed to help Splinter into the Tank as the two grappled. Tiger Claw had clawed at his face but it wasn't doing much behind the mask. But this may have been a distraction as he immediately slammed his face with an open palm the minute he saw the Tank door close again.

Draxum had landed a punch that Tiger Claw had grabbed and spun around throwing him before following up with a couple of powerful kicks before striking at his Elbows with an open palm move. Making Draxum stumble back but the Yokai flipped and slammed down hitting the Tiger with a shockwave that he wasn't able to defend against. And before he could react Draxum was on top of him. Vines wrapping around his arms legs and body while he gripped both Tiger Claw's jaws and began to pull them apart.

"Power Punch Jutsu!" Raph shouted the three unable to watch anymore had jumped out of the tank with Raph landing a blow on Draxum causing him to let go and stop his deadly attack on Tiger Claw. Donnie and Leo had tried their combination attack again; Leo striking with an Odachi Bomb and sending Draxum towards Donnie who had his spiral down attack ready.

"Fliambi Sandwich!" He shouted hitting Draxum in both the back and the back of his head sending him up in the air as Leo jumped up swallowing him in a portal but as he did vines rushed out and grabbed onto a nearby building pulling him out quickly just before it closed before grabbing Tiger Claw who was charging at him along Donnie and Leo and slamming them repeatedly into the ground. Raph went to attack however Draxum grabbed him by the neck and began to squeeze tightly cutting off his ability to breath.

"RAPH!" Leo screamed as he struggled before being slammed into the ground again.

"NO!" Mikey screamed rushing out of the tank.

"Orange!" Splinter shouted racing after him holding him back, Mikey wanted to pull him off but remembered he had heard Splinter….they had all gotten hurt because of him…..because of him….because of him….

Mikey fell to his knees and began wailing loudly with shriek like sobs as his markings began to glow. It had been a Cold November day with a freezing rain that threatened ice and thunder. However in that moment everything had warmed up. Like that of a hot summer's night as an intense burst of magic energy rushed out hitting Draxum hard making him let go of the Turtles and Tiger Claw.

"RAPH!" Leo and Donnie screamed as they rushed over to the Snapper who was now sputtering and coughing. Splinter wasn't far behind.

"Raphael, are you alright?" Splinter asked inspecting his son as he nodded taking in large gasps as Mikey continued to cry more heat waves barraged the area. Draxum was being held in place by them as he struggled to his feet. Then a fierce roar happened they turned to see Tiger Claw on all fours rushing at Draxum with his stripes glowing a bright silver. He tackled Draxum into a Roll then grabbing his arms with another powerful roar he threw Draxum with energy bursting out from around him but faded quickly as Draxum screamed being sent flying and clearing several Sky Scrapers as he screamed.

Splinter was stunned he glanced over at the mutant panting glaring at the part of the cloud cover Draxum had vanished beyond as the rain got warmer. "Tiger Claw just who are you?" Splinter thought to himself as Raph got to his feet.

"I'm okay," he muttered as Donnie scanned him over.

"You're sure?" Leo asked as Raph nodded. It was then they focused on Mikey crying they rushed over surrounding their brother. "Hey, Miguel its okay we're gonna take you home! He won't get you-" Mikey struggled away.

"STOP! Stop defending me, stop loving me! I hurt you! I hurt Klunk! I hurt Splinter and that almost got him killed! I almost got all of you killed!" Mikey sobbed tears falling from his eyes full force now. "I haven't done anything to deserve love once in my life! I can't do anything right! I didn't even come out right because of the stupid ADHD!"

Leo stared in shock unsure of what to say or do. So had Splinter who looked incredibly shameful in that moment, however a voice soon spoke up. "You're not supposed to earn love!" Tiger Claw roared.

Mikey flinched a little but stopped crying. "Love isn't something that's finite." Tiger Claw continued more quietly. "A Parent is supposed to love a child unconditionally!"

"He's right!" Raph added. "Leo told me about what you said to him. Draxum doesn't even like you! But we love you!"

"So does Klunk! She's been completely miserable since you left! And we know you love her more than anything!" Donnie added.

"Mikey!" shouted a familiar voice running through the ran completely soaked catching up and jumping into Mikey's chest was Klunk nuzzling him.

"Mikey….please come home! Kl-I Miss you! I love you! Please come home!" Klunk begged to their shock she had started speaking full sentences suddenly. "Please Mikey, Please come home!"

Mikey just stared at her the thunder going above them in shock as Tiger Claw came closer. He pulled out a small cup with gold cracks on it and handed it to Mikey. "What's this?" Mikey asked.

"It's a cup but it had been broken and repaired with Kintsugi. It's a Japanese art form. That believes that embracing flaws and imperfections and working on them can make something more beautiful than before. It's a reminder to never give up. My father said the body heals faster than the mind and soul but it scars. But those two can be hole again. If given the chance. But the person has to take that chance too." Mikey stared at the cup. "What happened the other night; was an accident. You weren't in control. Draxum's the one to blame for it not you!" Mikey began to cry again but the wails were much weaker than before he was exhausted they all were….Eventually Mikey had passed out and retracted into his shell.

"Ow!" Krysta hissed as Donnie zapped the scratch on her eye closed with a small laser.

"Yes this is necessary." Donnie replied as he finished. He then gave her a purple eye patch.

"Is this the only color you have?" She asked.

"Yes," Donnie replied flatly slightly insulted she was turned off by his favorite color. Leo wasn't paying attention much to what was going on. He was holding Mikey still in his shell in his lap. It had been sealed up something only Box turtles could do. He was looking forward to going home and sleeping the past three days off like a bad hang over. Klunk was on top of the shell asleep she hadn't left trying to sooth Mikey by purring.

"He needs a therapist." He suddenly heard Carol say to April, Tiger Claw and Splinter. Leo leaned left in his seat a little to hear more. "From what I've gleaned I've already picked up on some of the issues he has. Childhood Trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress disorder, low Self-Esteem and Anxiety," she continued to talk but Leo didn't take the rest of it in. He just stared in shock at Mikey, the basic information of Mental Damage swirled in his head. Almost no one could fix that. It was the kind of pain no injuries that didn't just go away.

"He'll need your power…"

What power? He couldn't hope to fix that! He wasn't a wizard he wasn't something that could-

"Leo?" Raph asked the Slider turned to his older brother. He could see bruises start to form on Raph's neck from Draxum. Another problem that he couldn't just will away; "You okay?"

"Oh yeah!" Leo said chuckling. "I'll tell you what I am ready to sleep for six years; Minimum!" He laughed before turning away. "Yeahhhh…" the face man was faltering…

Everyone had returned to the lair for safety but no one was going to their homes tonight. Not even Carol Donnie had managed to set up a few guest beds in the living room even for Tiger Claw once that was done he had retreated to his bedroom after he and Raph carefully placed Mikey in his hammock wrapped up in a blanket Donnie got for him. The two had gone to bed. Leo was just focusing on drinking his tea. Of course Tiger Claw had some criticism he had to share, didn't expect his father to be a target though.

"You realize that was incredibly stupid! What were you thinking taking him with you?! And how the hell did you not know that the Foot Clan were after your son?!" Tiger Claw growled at him as Splinter was sitting with his own tea shutting him out. "And it's not like you were any help comforting him either." Tiger Claw spat.

Leo took slight offense to that. Sure he didn't comfort Mikey but neither did he. But at least he lead the charge on Draxum that had to count for something right? His father finally spoke up turning on the large cat mutant with a glare.

"I don't have to listen to you! I don't even have to acknowledge you!" Splinter snapped getting right in Tiger Claw's face. "I have lived a life much longer than yours! You're like what twenty!? You!" he began roughly tapping his finger against Tiger Claw's chest with each word. "Are a little tiny baby too me!" he hissed.

"I COULD EAT YOU OLD MAN!" Tiger Claw shouted getting right in Splinter's face their foreheads pressed up against each other, before Carol got between them.

"Enough neither of you are helping the situation right now." She snapped making them sit down and back off from one another. "What we need to do is figure out how to get through this." she added a bit softer. Leo put the cup down that alerted everyone to his presence. He left quietly maybe Splinter called out to him maybe he didn't he didn't really care. The Tea wasn't helping he found himself in Mikey's room after a few minutes. He was still in his shell not moving. Klunk had slid off. Carefully avoiding her he sat on the hammock and pulled the shell onto his lap.

"Hey buddy we really missed you." Leo muttered absent-mindedly rubbing his shell. He sighed. "You're in a lot of pain aren't you?" he asked sadly before scoffing at himself. "Ya know, Ghost lady said my power could save you. And your mental health being pummeled to gooey paste proved that was a lie." He said spitefully to himself. I can't fix it….I can't portal or will it away….But I want too…" he said frowning as he felt tears began to prick his eyes. He tried to stop them but couldn't. The frustration and sadness he felt was piling up now. Not to mention he hadn't slept. His vision blurred as he continued. "I am…..Worthless to you." He sucked in a sob burying his face in his hands. "Damn it stop crying why won't it stop?!" he hissed at himself as he just continued to sob. He barely heard footsteps enter the room, whoever it was sat down beside him and put a hand on his shoulder.

"You have a lot of love for your family, don't you?" Carol asked. Leo just nodded hugging her as he sobbed some more.

"I don't want him to be in so much pain!" Leo admitted.

"It's gonna be alright I've been trained to deal with things like this. It'll take some time and hard work but he will heal." Carol promised.

"Leo?" asked a weak voice. They looked over. Mikey was sitting on the other end of his hammock. He was looking right at Leo. "Don't cry," he begged as he hugged Leo. "Please don't cry, please….you've done a lot for me! I promise!"

"Oh sweet peas," Carol muttered pulling them in both for a hug.

"We're not peas!" Mikey corrected as Leo couldn't help but laugh.

"It's an expression," he explained a sob mixed with a laugh. They hugged her tightly sniffling. At this point everyone was asleep completely out except for Splinter who sat at the base of his door. He could pretend to act like he had blocked Tiger Claw out but he hadn't he shed tears of his own as he descended into quiet sobs. The Truth was Tiger Claw was right about everything….

We should get some lighter chapters after this. And we should get one more funny one before the final arc which will go heavy on the angst again. But Yeah I think this story is 85% done! I'm splitting Seasons 1 and 2 between two books. I do want to try and add and restore some episode ideas with the limited information I have like with Gourd Almighty.

Also wave goodbye to Hulk-Speak Klunk Folks you'll never see her again after this! Klunk is speaking full sentences now!
