Miraculous Ultra Adventures: Ladybug, Chat Noir, and Ultraman Tiga

Disclaimer: I do not own Ultraman Tiga or Miraculous. Ultraman Tiga belongs to Tsubaraya and Miraculous to Zagtoons.

kamenrider13489: Glad you liked it, and don't worry, I will think of something for Chloe to give her a good arc.

VSX-2018: This Daigo is similar, but distinct from the original Daigo Madoka. More will be revealed down the road about him. All that I can say is that Tiga pursued his enemy from the multiverse into the World of Miraculous.

Chapter 2: Reactions

"Good morning Paris, this is Nadja Chamack. Don't be bemused for this Monday's top story from the weekend!"

Marinette Dupain-Cheng looked up as she was walking to school. She and many other Parisians watched as Nadja featured footage of the mysterious silver being Tikki called Ultraman standing in front of her and Chat.

People around Marinette gasped and muttered as the multi-colored Ultraman proceeded to blast the Magician of Misfortune and absolutely beat the ice cream out of Glaciator. The Parisians then cheered as he sliced Ladybug and Chat out of the ice just before breaking Glaciator's arm and demolishing his face.

'He did all that with just minimal effort,' Marinette thought, feeling a bit jealous.

"On Saturday afternoon," Nadja spoke, "this unknown new hero of living steel arrived to help Chat Noir and Ladybug thwart a double attack by Hawkmoth's Akumas. Eyewitnesses said that this being showed capabilities of super strength, beam attacks, and flight, all of which served to give the heroes a major advantage over their enemies.

Marinette watched herself throw Ultraman her magical matches, which he used to devastating effect to help Chat defeat Magician and totally destroy Glaciator without harming Andre. Just before the Miraculous Ladybug, the people watched in awe as Ultraman smashed the akumatized ice cream scoop, then destroy the akuma in rapid succession. The videos ended with his blasting off into the skies.

"It is unknown as to who this new hero is, and where he came from," Nadja continued, "but early speculation suggests that he's either an alien, or some new form of magical or Miraculous hero..."

People around Marinette exclaimed and chatted amongst themselves as she walked through them. She heard some of them exclaim that Ultraman is an alien due to his unusual appearance, while others retorted by saying that he would have to be a Miraculous hero to come to the help of Ladybug and Chat Noir.

Marinette then lifted up her purse a bit so that she could whisper to Tikki. "Hey Tikki, quick ask. Does Ultraman use a Miraculous?"

Tikki shook her head. "He does not need one," she answered, "he manifests himself through light by a different means from us kwami."

"How so, Tikki?" Marinette asked.

"Well," Tikki mused as she tried to remember, "there are two main methods I recall, both of which typically allowed the Ultramen to blend in and live amongst humanity." Tikki held up one paw. "One method was that they would assume the form of humans, which makes them difficult to distinguish with just regular eyes." Tikki then held up another paw. "Another and more symbiotic method was to merge with a willing human host, allowing both Ultra and human to share life essence or mana. It's less common, because while this made the Ultra and human both more mentally and physically powerful, it tied their lifespans together and made them both susceptible to each others' injuries."

Marinette was surprised. So the Ultramen could assume human form or merge with people. The second method sounded a lot like how she and Tikki bonded, but far more involved for the two parties. For whatever reason, she shuddered at the thought of Tikki dying if she herself died and vice versa, even though kwamis have differences from Ultras. "So..." Marinette went on, "do you think that this Ultraman is supposed to be out there assuming a disguise, or is there someone in Paris who has merged with him?"

"Well... it's been such a long time since we encountered the Ultramen," Tikki replied, "and given how bright his aura was, I'm not so sure about this particular individual."

Marinette sighed as she let her purse down to her side. "Countering and discovering Hawkmoth's identity is challenging enough... and now there's Ultraman."

Abandoned Airport Somewhere Outside Paris...

Daigo had his breakfast of French scrambled eggs in the hangar at an abandoned airport. After his Saturday encounter with the heroes Ladybug and Chat Noir, the Ultraman in human form had to lay low while scouting out a base of operations. Located outside the city limits, this small old airport was well out of sight and out of the way to the east, where he could rest, train, and store his gear and vehicles.

Daigo looked up from his eggs and coffee to see his two vehicles that he kept from his homeworld, both of which were enhanced versions of the vehicles his former host, Daigo Madoka had used... the GUTS Wing One - Night Variant, and the Sherlock Discreet. Both would be relics of an earlier era back home... but thanks to his comrades in the Space Garrison, they had been upgraded and serviced from their prototype forms into full-fledged Ride Mechas for battle. Speaking of which...

"You are making quite the waves on the news out there, Daigo... Ultraman Tiga." Daigo turned to see his would-be mechanic and mission controller. Despite his elderly appearance, the stocky bearded and mustached former Japanese racer was as healthy and strong as ever. "I would have thought you'd play it cool."

"I was helping two heroes who were just teenagers, Hideki Go," Daigo told him, "whoever this Hawkmoth is wanted their jewels badly enough to terrorize the park."

Hideki Go aka Ultraman Jack sat down on a chair across from Daigo with his own scrambled eggs with bacon on top. After taking a bite, he gave Daigo a look. "You know that Ultraman is largely unknown in this world... so don't be surprised when more and more people take fascination with you."

"They are fascinated with Ultraman Tiga," Daigo referred to his Ultra self in third person as he ate, "they would not be looking for me as Daigo."

"True, but you apparently tried to shoot these magical dark butterflies with your gun before they possessed their victims," Go reminded with a point of his fork. "You may not be Daigo Madoka, but you still need to protect your own identity. It won't do you any good if this Hawkmoth character figures you out first."

"Not if I figure him out first," Daigo simply answered back. He then looked up at his GUTS Wing. "You fixed it."

"Yeah," Go grunted, "it was in quite good condition considering the weather and extreme flying you put it through. Had to replace some circuitry just to be safe after that lightning strike." He then patted the younger Ultra on the shoulder, "you may be one of the strongest Ultras out there, but please treat your Ride Mechas with care. Those upgrades are not cheap or easy to make."

Daigo just sipped his coffee. "They just need to last enough for the mission."

Another old voice chuckled and laughed. "It's always the mission, isn't it Daigo?" Another older man in a vest and scarf joined them with his own steaming plate. He hummed as he took a bite of the eggs and bacon he made for the group. "I know French isn't exactly my forte, but I hope you enjoy it."

"It is good, Moroboshi," Daigo replied, "you are among the better cooks of the Ultra Brothers."

"Why thanks again," Dan Moroboshi/Ultraseven said. He then pointed to Hideki Go, "and I hope you appreciate Go's work on those old GUTS mechas. The least you can do to thank him is to take good care of those rides. They are rather quite serviceable for good value and performance."

"I do appreciate Go-sensei's work, Moroboshi-sensei, but am not materialistic," Daigo clarified.

"Not saying that you are," Dan chuckled.

"But at least value your rides enough to not ding them up bad," Go shook his head, "I put a lot of effort into those things, and you can't always fly or run around as Tiga."

Daigo nodded. The younger Ultraman then looked at the TV that Go had set up. The number one news anchor in Paris, Nadja Chamack was talking about his Saturday battle and giving her take on Tiga.

"Looks like someone made a movie of you, Daigo," Go laughed, "I mean, look at how seamlessly they stitched the videos together!"

"It's the Ladyblogger, Alya Cesaire," Daigo said, "she puts together videos and images of Chat Noir and Ladybug fighting."

"Quite an entrance and exit you made there," Dan remarked, "you even left those two wondering."

"While it is not clear who this stranger was or where he came from, it is thanks to this flying silver hero that Chat Noir qnd Ladybug's Saturday outting did not turn into their last one," Nadja finished, "and that's all for the morning, stay tuned!"

Dan and Go looked at Daigo. "So you learned anything more about Ladybug and Chat Noir?" Dan asked.

Daigo nodded. "They have these masks that use a glamor to conceal their identities through perception diffusion," he explained, "but I am able to see through them to know that they are two ordinary teenagers. Chat Noir's real name is Adrien, a model with his family's fashion business. Ladybug is a girl named Marinette, an aspiring fashion designer whose parents own a bakery."

"Hmm..." Go nodded with an impressed expression, "good work you are doing there, Daigo."

"Now, I do not have any further information on the girl," Daigo continued, "but after doing my research on Adrien Agreste, I did find out that he goes to Francoise Dupont High School, and he lives on a highly regulated schedule set forth by his father. Now, neither he nor Marinette are aware of each other being heroes, so they both transform separately. I would have approached the both of them for assistance in determining if this Hawkmoth may be the dark presence that I detected, but then Hawkmoth used his Akumas to attack the park."

"And do you suppose...?" Dan was about to ask, but Daigo shook his head slightly.

"I don't know, Dan-sensei," Daigo admitted, "Paris is saturated with all sorts of auras and energies... and for whatever reason, events between my coming into this world and waking up in Iceland seem to be vague."

"Vague?" Dan questioned.

Daigo shook his head. "Yes... it is strange, but I... I cannot seem to remember what it was exactly."

Both older Ultra veterans looked to Daigo. "You can't remember?" Go asked.

"Not exactly," Daigo glanced over to his GUTS Wing 1, "but I do know is that whatever dark presence created Cyber Melba is still somewhere out there with the cyborg, and we need to find them fast."

Dan seemed to be concerned for Daigo. "Daigo... this amnesia you seem to have. Are you sure that you are okay?" He leaned forward. "Are you sure of who you are and what to do?"

Daigo simply finished the last of his meal, and pushed his plate and mug away. "I'll be doing another perimeter scan... make sure no one comes near here." Putting on his helmet and blaster, Daigo walked out of the hangar.

The two Ultra Brothers saw the young Ultra walk out, then turned back to each other. "What happened to him, Dan?" Go asked.

"I don't know... between the time we lost contact from him starting his investigation into this world, and him waking up in Iceland," Dan sighed, "it really is a mystery." He then poured himself some coffee. "He seems to act and move as he normally would as Tiga, but he's got a lot of holes in his memory."

Hideki Go shook his head. "Great... he's an amnesiac. At least he seems to remember details of his past life and can still fight." He brushed his index finger and thumb through his beard. "Something is off though." It was frustrating when not even the Ultra senses could help him or Dan.

Francoise Dupont High School

Marinette reached the school as the other kids crowded in. "Mari-girl!" Alya Cesaire and her boyfriend Nino waved to her.

"Alya," Marinette smiled, happy to see her best friend.

"Hey Marinette, can you believe what happened on Saturday!?" Alya had an excited shine in her eyes with a grin on her face. "A new hero just came to help Ladybug and Chat Noir save the day!"

"Oh! Yeah he did!" Marinette blurted out, "he really did help!" Mentally, she hit herself for doing that, as she was thinking in Ladybug mode recalling that day. "I-It was really something!"

Fortunately, neither Alya nor Nino noticed Marinette's nervousness. "Yeah... that guy really went to town on those two Akumas," Nino remarked, "I still wonder if that was a new Miraculous hero or something."

"I-I think not..." Marinette stuttered, "I mean... if he was... I'm sure Ladybug and Chat Noir would have noticed!" Marinette winced, she had been so deep in thought about Ultraman, that she almost forgot to think about keeping her secret identity. She took a deep breath while telling herself to calm down. "Look, Nino, if Ladybug and Chat Noir knew anything about him, they would have said something. It looked like they were as surprised as the rest of us."

Nino mused over this, but then noticed from Marinette's words. "Wait, you were at the Place Des Voges? What were you doing there?"

"Place Des Voges?" Alya questioned, "that's where the fight took place." She looked at Marinette again, "so you really did see the whole thing."

"Um... yeah, I did," Marinette said sheepishly, "it was really something."

"Hey Marinette."

"Meep!" Marinette was startled by a smooth male voice behind her. She spun around to see Adrien's bright grinning face. "Oh Adrien!"

"Yep," the Agreste model gave the shy Dupain-Cheng another flash of his pearly white teeth, "that Saturday was pretty interesting, wasn't it?"

"Oh, yeah it was," Marinette said without thinking.

"Oh! You two were at the park together?" Alya was surprised, but it was only three seconds before she put on her infamous 'shipping face'. She grabbed Marinette and pulled her aside. "You've got to tell me the details!" She pulled Marinette towards the side while leaving Nino with Adrien.

"You got her started, and now she'll never let Marinette go," Nino laughed.

Adrien suddenly felt like a doofus. "Oops," was all he could manage.

Abandoned Airport

As Daigo walked the fence perimeter marking the abandoned small airport, he had time to think to himself. It still bothered him that he could not remember the gap of time from when he first came to this Earth and how he ended up in a remote part of Iceland before he had been attacked by monsters, one of which was Cyber Melba, whom he gave chase to before losing it over the Atlantic. When he tried hard to remember, it all felt like a thick fog that he could not penetrate with his Ultra perception.

'Why is it so hard to remember?' Daigo wanted to understand. However seeing how futile his thinking game was, he decided to move on. Daigo continued to scan the area with his helmet's sensor, which fed information to his visor HUD. His black and white suit allowed him to blend in with some of the buildings around the airport. His GUTS suit was a special modification of the type used by the former Global Unlimited Task Squad back on Neo Frontier Earth, and allowed him to be less conspicuous, especially in dense areas and at night. Where GUTS could work in the open back home, Daigo/Tiga was a nomad and an alien, and had to be more discerning in his operations, especially to worlds unfamiliar to Ultramen and the Space Garrison.

Daigo checked his PDI for the remote sensors he had laid around the airport the Saturday evening and Sunday morning before. Everything was functioning, and would alert him, Dan, and Go if any intruders tread into the area. It was the middle of nowhere, but the Space Garrison agents would take no chances with their safety on an alien world. Seeing that the perimeter was good, Daigo decided to browse the Ladyblog again for further information on Ladybug and Chat Noir.

Daigo looked into all the relevant information that Alya Cesaire had posted on the jewels that powered the two heroes. Disappointingly, it was not much, but Daigo could guess that there were a lot of secrets that Ladybug and Chat kept besides their secret identities. However, there was one piece of knowledge that concerned him... he clicked on the article concerning 'wish-making powers'. He read through it, and it was revealed from an interview with Ladybug that her earrings and Chat's ring if ever combined, had the ability to make powerful wishes. These wishes had the potential to re-balance the fabric of reality in the universe, and Hawkmoth was sending these Akuma out for the purpose of threatening Paris to draw out the two. If he captured the jewels, he could make a wish.

Daigo made notes on his PDI. He would have to discuss this with Dan and Go. This Hawkmoth had the potential to become a multi-dimensional terrorist if he got his hands on the jewels. He would also have to find ways to contact the two heroes before they were captured.

Then, one of the sensors on the north side of the compound went off. Getting the alert signal on his HUD, Daigo put his PDI away and drew his GUTS Hyper as he walked some 400 yards north. Laser sight synched with his HUD reticle, Daigo trained the gun at a ready position as he ran towards the sensor. He needed to be sure that it was not someone who had gotten lost or had followed him.

Daigo did a high somersault over the fence and landed next to the treeline. "Dan-sensei," Daigo radioed, "we've got a potential intruder in our northern quadrant, I'm investigating."

"Roger that, be careful, Daigo," Dan replied. Daigo did a silent walk through the woods with his gun drawn. He took care to avoid the curtains of sunlight in spots to maximize his suit's blending in with the shade. As he drew closer towards the sensor, he then got a glimpse of the intruder. Daigo lowered his gun as he saw and sensed that this was not a human intruder. Daigo holstered the blaster as he walked over to the stray horse. He saw that it was a juvenile.

"You got lost, little one," Daigo remarked as he stood in front of the horse, who just stared back at him in return. "You triggered one of our proximity sensors." He glanced down at the sensor he had planted. "Should buy and set up cameras when I can." He then knelt down a bit and saw that the mare had a tag. Daigo knew that this horse wandered off. "Naughty little one, you ran away from your owner and got lost..."

Suddenly, there was a low growl that Daigo's sharp hearing picked up. He didn't need to turn as he knew that it was behind him. Daigo gave an intent gaze into the mare's eyes as he held it by the nuzzle. "Run away," he said firmly as he turned it around and smacked it hard.

No sooner had Daigo sent the mare running did a vicious large wolf jump out of the brushes. He managed to catch it mere inches from its face as it pushed him to the ground and snapped viciously. The wolf barked as it tried to bite the young man's face. However, Daigo just punched the animal in the side of the face and kicked it off of him. The Ultra in human disguise did a fast backflip into a fighting stance as he faced down the wolf.

The wolf, angry that his easy meal was gone, focused its animalistic rage on this human-looking challenger. It lunged again, but Daigo sidestepped, grabbed it in midair, and flung it against a tree. The wolf hit it hard and fell to the ground. Knowing that it was beaten at last, the wolf gave a whimper towards Daigo, and ran off.

"Marie!" The voice of a little girl sounded nearby. Daigo quickly took cover in the brush. Looking out from the bushes, he saw that a little girl and her father were with the mare he had saved earlier. The little girl hugged the mare in happiness. "Silly little, Marie, we were looking all over for you!" Daigo knew that he had saved not only the little horse, but also a family from nearly running into the vicious wolf.

"Let's get her home now," the father urged his daughter as he put mini-reins on the mare. The little girl happily accepted the reins as they led her pet horse away. Daigo continued to watch until they were out of sight.

"Daigo, everything alright?" Dan came in on his helmet radio.

"False alarm," Daigo replied, "just a baby horse that wandered nearby. I'm coming back now."

"Thank you, Daigo. Just get back here safe."

With that, Daigo walked back to the Ultras' airport hideout. He gave one more glance where the girl and her father had taken the mare. "We will keep this world safe... just like we have others."

Francoise Dupont High School

"Dude, that is totally wacky!" Nino exclaimed, "that silver guy just destroyed Glaciator in one hit!?"

"That's exactly what happened," Adrien told his friend, "he took the matches Ladybug had and shot the Akuma with them, then he got this bright aura to him, and punched a hole through it while safely getting Mr. Andre out! And that wasn't all..." Adrien shivered a bit at what he recalled, "he not only smashed the ice cream scoop the Akuma was in, but then went to crush the butterfly itself."

"Totally rad," Nino exclaimed, "and nobody knows what to call him? He didn't say his name?"

Adrien shook his head. "He was just silent." He then looked up in the sky. "I wonder if he can speak French, or English for that matter..."

Nino then smiled and gave Adrien a playful pat on the shoulder. "Hey," the capped resident DJ suggested, "maybe you should come up with the name. I imagine that with your stardom, whatever you come up with will catch on pretty quick, eh?"

The Agreste heir chuckled nervously while rubbing his head. "Well I don't know-"

"Come on," Nino urged, "what's the harm in that? I mean, Chat Noir and Ladybug gave their names, we should at least have one to call this new hero by!"

Adrien rubbed his chin as he hummed. He then remembered what Plagg told him about the new hero. He smirked as he gave Nino his answer. "Ultraman."

"Ultraman?" Nino questioned as he pushed up his glasses, "that sounds like the name of some American or Japanese superhero. I thought I might have heard that somewhere."

"You did?" Adrien wondered.

"I think so... just give me time to think..." Nino said.

Meanwhile, Marinette was having a similar conversation with Alya. "So you were out dating with Adrien at Place Des Voges when that silver hero showed up to help Ladybug and Chat Noir!?" She was shaking Marinette excitedly, "why didn't you tell me sooner!? I want details!"

"S-stop s-shaking me!" Marinette begged until the Martinique girl stopped to let her friend breathe. "It wasn't a date, we were just... hanging out as friends," Marinette panickily defended, "and I was just as stunned as everybody else when that hero showed up."

"But you were there!" Alya squealed, "so what was he like up close!?"

Marinette gave her best friend a deadpan look. "You didn't see the videos?"

"Of course I did," Alya said, "but I like to hear it first hand from you!"

Marinette sighed. Her friend was the Ladyblogger and a huge superhero geek. Of course she would want to hear about new heroes. "If you insist... the silver hero as you saw in the videos was powerful enough to take on both the Magician and Glaciator without trouble. He even freed us- I mean Ladybug and Chat with those beams of his."

"Right, and Akuma attacks are supposed to be difficult to counter without a Miraculous," Ayla pointed out, "so how did he do it!?"

Marinette fingered one of her bangs. "I don't know... but whatever power he has, it was more than enough for him to help Chat Noir defeat the Magician, and destroy Glaciator without harming Mr. Andre."

Alya smiled. "Well for what it is worth, I still have Ladybug's back as a friend," she said, unaware of how reassuring that was for Marinette. It was then that the Ladyblogger realized, "you know, we've all been calling him the silver hero for a while already, and I think we need a name for him..."

Marinette was thinking back to her conversation when she muttered, "Ultraman."

That made Alya perk up. "Ultraman?"

"Oh! Eep!" Marinette was startled. "Sorry, I was talking to myself..."

Alya processed the name for a few seconds, and then snapped her fingers. "You know, that sounds like a great name, simple and powerful! Reminds me of some old Japanese cartoon I might have watched when I was younger. Ultraman!"

"O-okay..." Marinette blushed, realizing how she got Alya started with the name that Tikki revealed to her.

"Then it's official," Alya said as she pulled out her phone notes, "let's call this hero... Ultraman!"

'And here we go...' Marinette thought nervously.

Hawkmoth's Lair

Gabriel Agreste looked down at the capsule containing the comatose body of his wife, Emily. She was still as peaceful as she slept, unaware of her husband's evil mischief across Paris. Gabriel brushed a yearning had across the glass.

"Oh, Emily... I should have gotten the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculous sooner if it had not been for this... Ultraman Tiga," he muttered the name of his new enemy from another Earth. It was what his new partner in crime named the interloper. Gabriel had learned that Tiga was actually a giant of light whose power could rival the Miraculous, and has defeated numerous enemies back in the dimension called the World of Neo Frontier. If two of his Akumas could not even defeat Tiga... Hawkmoth needed new powers, tactics, and strategies to counter him... which his new partner was offering.

"I see that you finished with your business upstairs." Gabriel turned to the sound of the voice of his new ally, the man calling himself Noboru Watanabe. Noboru had a vibe to him that was as dark as his attire. "If I could give business recommendations... you would be surprised at how well dark and edgy would sell.

"What is it that you want now?" Gabriel narrowed his eyes.

Noboru smugly uncrossed his arms. "To help you get your wife back, of course," he answered, "you know as well as I do that if Tiga should join forces with the Miraculous heroes, you would not have any hope of victory."

"And you should know that I can find my way with any foe," Gabriel bit back, still not sure about what Noboru offered.

"Not this one... at least not without some back up," Noboru replied as he walked to the other side of Emily's capsule. "You see, I travelled the multiverse in search of a new home for my kind after Ultraman Tiga defeated us back on Neo Frontier Earth, and during that time, we found several more meddlers of his type, and many more who... disagree with their interference in getting what we all wish."

Noboru then put a hand on the capsule. "If Ultraman Tiga were to find out who you were and what you were... your quest would have ended before you could even begin. You need my help because Tiga is a common enemy."

Gabriel grunted as he glanced away. He hated to involve this newcomer, especially since he seemed to have mysteries and secrets of his own. Still, the pragmatist in him said that he needed all the help he could get against this new warrior of light. "And... what assurance do I have to trust that you will not run off with the Miraculous?"

Noboru grinned as he stood back up. "May I offer you an incentive as my word?"

Gabriel hated that smirk, but nonetheless decided. "Show me."

"Take my hand..." Noboru said, "and hang on tight."

Gabriel glared at Noboru, but nonetheless went over and took his hand. The two men glowed in a fiery flash, and Gabriel suddenly felt a rush.

When the flash faded, Gabriel found himself somewhere else. He looked around and saw giant tanks filled with blue glowing liquid. Gabriel let go of Noboru's hand as he looked up at one giant tank from a walkway the both of them were on. In it was a giant creature he estimated was at least 50 to 60 meters. "A giant monster?" Gabriel saw that it looked like a giant humanoid crab.

"That one we call Reicubas," Noboru revealed, "one of the most vicious monsters and successful genetically engineered bioweapons from Neo Frontier World. It actually defeated Tiga's successor back there, and would have won if not for his human friends tricking it."

Gabriel saw just how fierce Reicubas looked with its large, sharp claws and menacing red eyes. He then looked at several other tanks and saw giant monsters of every other type and shape in them.

"So? What do you think?" Noboru asked, "impressive specimens, are they not?"

"Impressive?" Gabriel muttered as he looked up at a particularly gruesome looking creature that looked like a rodent with termite claws and teeth. "These are the creatures of nightmares."

"M-master..." Nooroo peaked out from his hiding place in his wielder's coat, "I-I do not like this." Nooroo through his empathy sensed an intense malevolent darkness to this place and the monsters that Gabriel was browsing. However, his words fell on deaf ears.

"My point exactly," Noboru cheered like he was doing a sales pitch, "with these monsters, you can generate fear and negative emotions on a scale unheard of in all of Paris. My allies and I have scoured the multiverse for the most powerful monsters and weapons to go up against Ultraman Tiga and the Ultra Garrison!"

Noboru gave a wave to the lines of monsters in their breeding tanks. "We offer their services to you, both as a means to destroy Tiga and to defeat your own native enemies, Gabriel Agreste."

"We?" Gabriel asked. He then saw from behind Noboru a group of shadowy individuals that walked forward towards them. There were thirteen of them of different species. It did not take long for the Agreste patriarch to realize that they were all aliens.

Nooroo shivered in his pocket. If he had the will and strength to do so, he would just tell Gabriel to back offf and get away from these alien people. He sensed many of their bad intentions, so much so that it was suffocating.

"I give you my twelve fellow travellers," Noboru said. He then faced the Miraculous villain. "Gabriel Agreste, in return for our giving you these giant creatures, I offer you a seat at the table... that we can all work together to make all our wishes come true! Let us make a glorious new world together, as the Fourteen Kings!"

Nooroo could not speak up, but he silently begged his master to not go through with this deal, but the overwhelming presence of Noboru's malevolence was overpowering. Against his best hopes and as he had feared, Gabriel just smiled confidently and said, "very well."

Francoise Dupont High School

"Wait a minute, Nino," Alya was talking with her boyfriend, "did you say Ultraman?"

"I did, and so did you Alya," Nino realized as they got their lunch, "and you said that it was Mari-girl who suggested it?"

"Yeah," Alya remarked as she looked over to Marinette and Adrien, who both seemed to be shy and apart even when sitting at the same table.

"Strange... the both of them came up with the same name," Nino noticed, "and yet they were telling each other that they knew nothing about him..." He adjusted his cap. "You think it might be coincidence?"

Alya glanced over her shoulder as she got some pasta. "I don't know... but they both seem to know something about this Ultraman," she whispered, "I would think that maybe the Miraculous heroes said something, but the videos showed that they seemed to be as surprised as everybody else." There was something more than either Adrien or Marinette let on, but she could not pin-point it to her frustration.

As Alya and Nino went over to Adrien and Marinette, the two each seemed to be in deep thought, occasionally stealing glances at one another. "So," Alya smirked as she sat down, "you two want to tell me anything about your new friend, Ultraman?"

"Wha-?" Adrien was drawn out of his reverie.

"Ah! Alya?" Marinette was startled.

"Nino and I couldn't help but notice that you both called him Ultraman," Alya told them, "I guess you both think more alike than you thought.

The two crushing teens blinked, but then looked to each other quizzically. "Hey Marinette," Adrien asked, "did you... also call the silver hero, Ultraman?" It was then that his mind flashed back to when Marinette muttered Ultraman's name back at the park.

"Uh..." Marinette was stumped as Adrien, Alya, and Nino were looking at her. Her shy side began to panic as she fear of letting her Ladybug secrets slip. 'H-how did Adrien-' She tried to think of something quick. "Um... I overheard it from Ladybug?" Marinette gave a shrug with a nervous smile.

Adrien felt his head ache for a moment. Marinette's explanation sounded plausible, but something else seemed to be missing. Something in the foggy back of his head told him that Marinette had her secrets.

Alya gave her friend a curious look. "Ladybug told you?"

"I mean... she did, not really," Marinette stumbled over her words, "I mean- lucky guess?" Marinette seemed a bit panicky.

Adrien then decided to intervene, "hey Alya, I think we can chalk it up to coincidence. I mean hey, I guess Marinette and I think alike!" He put on a light, disarming chuckle.

Alya and Nino both stared at Adrien questioningly, but they both seemed to accept the explanation. The four friends sat together and ate. It was then that Nino said, "you know, I recall hearing about an old show in Japan that had a similar name and premise. It's really weird that silver hero Ultraman looks like one of them."

Adrien looked at his BFF. "A show? You mean?"

"Yeah dude," Nino replied after biting his sandwich, "somehow that guy looks like one of those tokusatsu or toku kind of guys."

"Toku?" Adrien perked up, "isn't what they call those Super Sentai or Power Rangers shows in Japan and America where they dress up in all those costumes with the special effects?"

Alya snapped her fingers, "that sounds like it! That Ultraman guy resembles the Power Rangers, only with more metal!"

Marinette sheepishly raised her hand. "I may not be a superhero expert," she chimed in, "but from the looks of that Ultraman, I doubt that he was just wearing a costume. He certainly looked real enough to be some sort of alien."

"And he could be a Miraculous hero who happens to look like an alien," Alya raised the possibility, "I mean, he could be anything at this point." She then gave her boyfriend a smile. "Though I might look into Ultraman's probable toku connection... what do you say, Nino?" Nino blushed a bit, but he nodded happily.

Adrien the gave another glance towards Marinette, who just looked away shyly from him. Adrien sighed. Though they had started dating, it was still a much slower burn than he had hoped for, and he had seen Marinette be kind and courageous whenever she was not stumbling over herself in front of him. He also still had not forgotten how she called the new hero Ultraman, when Plagg called him the same thing. Marinette had some secrets that was keeping her apart from him, and Adrien deep down knew there was more than met the eye with her.
