CHAPTER 21

The night was a bit turbulent, lightning and thunder made the sky roar. Thunderous rain fell from the sky, looking like a waterspout. Nathan slept and once again his thoughts consumed him in those horrible nightmares. Every night was the same, he needed to know how his teammates were doing.

Meanwhile, Philip, once again tried to sleep peacefully in his bed, but tiredness won and when he really fell asleep, that feeling came along with it...

... The car was going at high speed, the men holding on to not fall out of the jeep, the bumps that caused more pain in their injuries. It was very dark, and with a sudden brake, Captain Nathan stopped the car.

... He stopped the car, everyone watching without knowing what to do, many of these forks normally led to their place of origin, that is, they could return to their captivity unintentionally. In the distance I heard a voice singing, it was the song Dani Boy, I looked in the darkness and saw nothing, I just listened, I rubbed my eyes and saw there, in the background, in one of the lanes at the fork, it was her, the young woman... - Captain, are you seeing or hearing anyone?

Wynn and Frankison, looked at each other and talked in a corner of the ward, asked them to follow him to the office, getting there he asked:

- Are you Sergeant Jack Thorton of Hope Valle?

- Yes, sir, but I can't remember much of things, to be honest I just remember that I'm riding in that city, but I can't remember where it is.

- Yeah, I'm her cousin. As a matter of fact, an older brother, since her family isn't that great, Dad is married to her father's sister. My mother is called Elizabeth and his wife Jack is called Elizabeth Thatcher Thorton. And you will be leaving for home tomorrow afternoon. And once you return, you will be decorated as war heroes, and all of your lives will return to normal.

Everyone looked at each other, memory loss could be bad and never come back. JACK WAS OUT OF MEMORY, ONLY SHE WOULD KNOW ABOUT THIS FACT IN THE CITY, THE MOUNTIE'S HIGH LEVELS DIDN'T WANT THE NEWS TO SPREAD, THAT TESTS WERE CARRIED OUT ON JACK, AND HE LOST HIS AFFECTIVE MEMORIES OF THE PAST, BUT REMEMBERED THAT HE WAS POSTED IN HOPE VALLE, HE IS NOT A DANGER TO ANYONE AND BECAUSE HE IS A GOOD POLICE OFFICER AND A WAR HERO, EVEN THE FACT OF LACK OF MEMORY, EVERYONE WOULD AVOID THE DISCLOSURE OF THE NEWS SO AS NOT TO RUMBLE HIS CAREER. ME AND YOUR COUSIN WILL BE HERE, ALWAYS FOR YOU, MY LITTLE ONE THINGS, HE DOESN'T REMEMBER YOU, BUT HE WAS DETACHED IN CAPTIVITY, WHERE HE WAS VERY HURT DUE TO THE AGGRESSIONS, BECAUSE HE AND FOUR SOLDIERS ONE OF HIM HIS TEAM CAPTAIN WERE TORTURED FOR DAYS AND TO THIS CAPTAIN ONCE , HE WAS CATCHED A LOT, WAS UNCONSCIOUS FOR DAYS, AND A LOT OF FEVER, HE WAS THROWN TIED NEXT TO THE CAPTAIN. ALL OF THEM PASSED LIKE THAT ON THE FLOOR OF THE CELL, BREAD AND WATER AND TIED UP AND AGGRESSIONS ALMOST EVERY DAY, IN SEARCH OF INFORMATION. ON THIS DAY, HE VERY BAD, HE TALKED ALL NIGHT TO A YOUNG GIRL WHO WAS IN A VALLEY PICKING WHITE AND LILAX ASTERS, HE WAS ON TOP OF A BLACK HORSE, AND THIS YOUNG GIRL SINGED THE SONG DANI BOY, THIS YOUNG GIRL CARED FOR HIM ALL NIGHT, HIS WOUNDS AND SHE HAD THE MOST LOVELY LOOK AND THE MOST CAPTIVATING SMILE HE HAS EVER SEEN. THIS SAME YOUNG MAN, HELPED HIM WITH THE OTHER SOLDIERS ON THE ESCAPE ROUTE, WHEN AT A FORK, SHE SINGED AND WAVED IN A PASSING LANE, THE ONLY CORRECT TRACK TO BRING HIM HE HAD A WOUND ON HIS FACE, WE DON'T KNOW HOW IT WILL BE, BUT HE MUST REMAIN WITH A BANDAGE FOR AT LEAST THIRTY DAYS, HE SHOULD SEE THE DOCTOR IN THE CITY FOR AN EVALUATION. I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND HIM, WHEN HE GETS THERE NEXT WEEK, BUT I'LL TELL YOU SOMETHING, HE WAS TALKING ABOUT YOU WITH SO MUCH LOVE, AS SOON AS HE GOT HERE AND I SHOWED HIM YOUR PHOTO HE SOON REALIZED IT WAS THE YOUNG WOMAN WHO HELPED HIM EVERY DAY, HE'S CRAZY TO MEET HIS WIFE. LEFT HERE YESTERDAY AND EVERYONE HE MEETS AT THE BASE, HE COULD ONLY TALK ABOUT HIS BEAUTIFUL WIFE AND THAT HIS HEART WAS GLAD WITH HAPPINESS TO GO FIND HER. THE MAY BE OUT OF MEMORY, BUT BETH, HE STILL LOVES YOU SO THE DECISIONS FOR YOU BOTH LOVE .
