Shu was training in the basement. He tried his best to get control of Spriggan, but he noticed there was a lot more power and gimmicks that he needed to get used to. After a few hours, her mom opened the door carrying a sleepy Aichi in her arms. "Shu, it is time for dinner," she informed him.

"Okay," Shu responded before launching again. Aichi scratched his eyes and saw Spriggan spinning completely out of control.

"Sorry, Shu…" Aichi apologized sadly. He was worried he did something wrong since Shu was having so much trouble controlling it. Shu picked up Spriggan and smiled.

"I'll get the hang of it soon. How about you give it a name? You haven't picked one yet," Shu said while brushing Aichi's head.

"You should name it, Shu!" Aichi responded happily as they went to the apartment.

"Hm… how about Legend Spriggan?" Shu suggested while holding up the Beyblade. Aichi smiled and nodded. When they got back to the apartment, Shu put a hand on Aichi's forehead. It was almost back to normal.

Aichi sat with Legend Spriggan while Shu and their mom brought over the dishes. He was worried that Spriggan wouldn't ever listen to Shu. After dinner, Shu and their mom were packing their things. Aichi was lying in bed since he was still sick.

Aichi was fiddling with the old Spriggan while watching them pack. "Aichi, there is going to be a celebration party with the club tomorrow. Do you want to go if you feel better?" Shu asked him. Aichi nodded with a smile.

The next day, Aichi was feeling about 80%. His fever was completely gone. Their mom offered to drive them over since Aichi was still a bit sick. On the way there, Shu saw Valt running in the distance. "Mom, can I get off? I'm going to head over there with Valt," Shu said. His mom stopped the car and Shu brushed Aichi's head. "I'll be there soon," he said before leaving the car. Aichi watched longingly, but he knew that this was the last day he had before they went to America.

When they reached the school, they noticed Valt's mom getting out of their car as well. "Chiharu, it has been a while. I see Toko and Nika are getting a lot taller," she greeted while helping Aichi out.

"Shu's mom!" Toko and Nika exclaimed.

"It has! How are you?" Chiharu asked her. She pulled out a basket from the trunk that was full of Bey bread.

"I am great. Thank you for being there for my sons," Shu's mom said happily. Chiharu handed the basket to the twins who carried it inside. Shu's mom took Aichi's hand and they walked inside together as well.

They set up a table for the party. Soon, the team came running in. All of them were so tired from the run that they collapsed on the ground. Aichi sat beside Shu worriedly. "Shu… are you okay?" He asked him. Shu was taking deep breaths and nodded.

"There is Bey beard for everyone!" Toko and Nika announced.

"Wow! I got first dibs!" Valt shouted before getting up and running to the table. Everyone else followed excitedly except Aichi and Shu who watched. In the evening, near the ending of the party, Ken walked to Shu and Aichi.

"Shu, are you going to tell them?" Ken asked him. Shu nodded before stepping forward.

"I have something to say to everyone," Shu said. Everyone turned to him and waited for him to talk. "I was invited to a professional team in America and Aichi is going with me."

"That's great, Shu! It's not a surprise you would be the first to be scouted," Daina said. Everyone looked conflicted with the news. Of course they were happy for him, but they won't see Shu and Aichi for a while.

They enjoyed the rest of the party and everyone saw them off the next day. "You sure this is what you want?" Valt asked him worriedly. Shu looked conflicted at first, but then he turned to Aichi who was with his mom checking to make sure he had everything he needed. It was then, he knew this had to be done.

"Yeah… It's not just for Aichi, I want to get stronger too," Shu answered while looking back at everyone.

"Show everyone what you got Shu!" Valt shouted. He was in tears seeing off his best friend, but he held up his fist for a fist bump before he left.

"Sure thing," Shu responded before accepting the fist bump. The rest of the club also joined in as well.

"Shu, Aichi, your flight is taking off in an hour. You two should get through security and be ready near the terminal," Shu's mom said while helping Aichi put on his backpack. Shu walked over to them and smiled. "Take care of each other over there. Give me a call when you get there and after Aichi's treatment," she said while brushing both of their heads.

"We will, mom," Shu responded before holding onto Aichi's hand.

"Bye, mom," Aichi said. She gave each of them a kiss on the forehead before letting them go to the security area.

"Shu! Next time we meet it will be in Worlds!" Valt shouted in tears as Shu and Aichi went into security. Shu gave him a thumbs up before walking off with Aichi. Shu helped Aichi take off his jacket and backpack and put it on the assembly line to get scanned. They got through easily and put back on their things.

"Shu, there are stadiums over there," Aichi pointed out when they reached the waiting area. Shu turned and saw them. There were kids battling each other there.

"Wow! It's Shu Kurenai, one of the spin emperors!" The kids ran over to them looking excited. They really wanted to battle him. Shu decided to battle and used Legend Spriggan for the first time. Aichi was surprised to see that he was able to control it so well after two days.

"Shu, I'm glad to see Spriggan is listening to you now," Aichi said happily. Shu smiled and took his hand.

"It's all thanks to you. Now let's get to the terminal before we're late," Shu responded before taking him over. They soon boarded the plane. They found their seats in the economy class which were right beside each other. Aichi had the window seat and looked amazed at the view of the runway.

"It's going to look cooler once we take off," Shu said with a smile after seeing how happy Aichi looked. He helped Aichi put on his seatbelt before doing his own. When they began moving, he watched as Aichi almost stood out of his seat to look outside the window.

After a while into the flight, Aichi was polishing the old Spriggan looking deep in his own thoughts. "Get some sleep, you're still recovering from being sick," Shu said. He didn't seem to hear him which made him sigh. "Give me that… go to sleep, okay?" He said before snatching Spriggan from his hands.

Aichi looked up and pouted a little. "Okay…" he responded before looking over at Shu worried that he was angry. After a little while, Aichi fully fell asleep leaning on the plane wall. Shu covered him in a blanket to make sure he was warm.

He then pulled out Legend Spriggan and his launcher. The keychain was attached to the launcher Aichi had given him at Zac's party. He clenched Legend Spriggan and closed his eyes. He remembered the deal that was set from Theodore.

"You will fight for the Raging Bulls, but you must win against your adversaries and the other bladers of the team. If you are unable to maintain your top position, you will leave your brother here and go through special training in Mexico."

Shu opened his eyes again after feeling something touch his arm. It was Aichi and he was leaning on him. He smiled and moved him to a more comfortable position. "I need to win… If I had to leave you behind…" he thought.

It took 10 hours to reach their destination and Theodore and his assistant were there to greet them. "Welcome to America, Shu Kurenai and Aichi Sendou," he greeted with open arms. He gestured to his assistant to help them with their suitcases. Shu and Theodore shook hands and Aichi looked up, holding Shu's free hand. "Please come this way."

They followed Theodore to a limousine. "I was anticipating your arrival. I completed the preparations to separate the two souls," he explained while looking at Aichi who was fiddling around. They soon reached a tall building and they got out of the limo.

"Welcome to the Raging Bull's headquarters!" Theodore said before guiding them inside. The building was huge and fancy which amazed Aichi. There were people there who took their things to their new rooms.

"Aichi, can you switch places?" Shu asked him. Aichi nodded before closing his eyes and swapping places.

"Mr. Sendou, I am glad you are well," Theodore said while holding his hand out.

"Just call me, Aichi," Aichi responded before accepting his handshake.

"Please come this way," Theodore said before guiding them to an elevator. They went to the bottom floor of the building where the lab area was. Inside, they saw a body that looked like the younger Aichi lying on a metal table.

Aichi walked up to the body and examined it. "What do you think of the vessel we made?" Theodore asked him.

"It looks fine," Aichi responded. "Let's try transferring the little one's soul right now. Is your team prepared or is it too short notice?" He asked him.

"We are well prepared whenever you feel ready. We just need a moment to prepare," Theodore answered respectfully. Aichi nodded before turning to Shu.

"I hope you aren't sacrificing too much by doing this for the little one," Aichi said while putting his hand on his shoulder. Shu shook his head. He was still a little surprised with the aura that was around him while talking to Theodore. "You're a really good brother, Shu. I think it will be best if you head to your room and start unpacking," he said with a smile.

"I should be here to make sure you two are alright," Shu responded.

Aichi shook his head. "No, we'll be okay. I'll make sure the little one is fine," he said confidently. He ushered him out when Theodore called him over. Shu stuck around a little longer since it looked like Aichi didn't want him to watch for some reason. Aichi was laid on another table and probes attached onto his head linking himself with the artificial body. There were also vital monitors attached to his body.

"Let us begin!" The machine started running and Aichi cried out a bit as some of his powers were transferred to the other body. "Heart beat is rising, but remains in the safe zone." Shu watched from outside worriedly as the procedure continued.

It took about 30 minutes, but the procedure was completed successfully. Aichi was completely exhausted and was wheeled off. The little one was breathing, but fast asleep and was also wheeled off following Aichi. "Shu Kurenai, come with me," Theodore said.

Shu followed him to a different room. "I believe you remember our agreement. I do hope to examine that Beyblade that that boy made for you," he said while looking down at Shu.

Shu took out Legend Spriggan and hesitantly handed it to him. "This Beyblade really is a gem. It is perfect in every way. Since the moment I met him, I knew your brother would be an important ally," he commented after analyzing Spriggan with his own eyes. "I will return this to you when a thorough analysis is complete. For now, I am sure you want to see how your brother is doing," he explained before having someone take Shu to where Aichi was resting.

He was taken to the top floor. The room was nice and the lighting was amazing too. Both of them were sleeping in the room. Aichi's luggage was placed on the side of the room still packed up. "The young one doesn't seem to be doing too well…" a nurse whispered quietly so that Shu wouldn't worry.

Shu sat down on a chair beside the younger one who was under close monitoring. After a day, the older Aichi woke up and got out of bed. Shu slept at the younger's bedside, worried that he'll wake up surprised and scared. Aichi walked over to get some support from the table. He looked down at the younger Aichi and knew he wasn't doing well.

"Blaster Blade, help me give more of the power to him," Aichi said.

"Yes, my Vanguard," Blaster Blade responded. Aichi held the hand of the younger and transferred more of his power to him. Shu woke up after hearing some grunting and saw what Aichi was doing.

"He should be okay now," Aichi said while taking a breath. He brushed the little one's head while leaning on the wall.

"Let me help you," Shu said while giving him a shoulder back to his bed.

"Sorry, Shu. Did I wake you up?" Aichi asked him.

"No. I was worried about him," Shu answered while looking over to the little one. Aichi smiled and nodded.

After a week, the little one woke up. He saw the older Aichi talking to some nurses outside. "Mr. Sendou, how are you feeling today?" They asked him.

"I'm fine. The little one hasn't woken up yet and that worries me more," Aichi answered. When the nurse looked over, she looked surprised. Aichi turned to see what happened and saw that the young one was awake. "You're awake, that's a relief," he said before they all went to his bedside.

The little one felt really strange. They helped him sit up and checked on his vitals. The boy looked around worriedly. "Are you wondering where Shu is? I'll take you to him after you get checked up," Aichi said with a smile. The little one nodded and let the nurses do everything.

"You did great," the nurses said happily after they finished. Aichi lifted the boy up into his arms. "Mr. Sendou, we can get a wheelchair for him. You haven't fully recovered either," the nurses exclaimed.

"No, I'm fine," Aichi responded happily before walking off. The nurse followed along pushing the IV stand. He took the boy one floor down where the training rooms were. Inside, they saw the Raging Bulls team doing scrimmage matches against each other. The little one's eyes lit up after seeing Shu launch and easily win his match.

"Shu!" The little one called with a raspy voice. Shu turned and saw Aichi carrying the younger one.

"Shu, your next battle is about to begin," the trainer said.

"Can I take a small break?" Shu asked the trainer. The trainer was about to respond, but Theodore walked into the room.

"You must want to be with him now that he's awake. Let everyone take a short break," Theodore said.

"Thank you," Aichi said with a smile before squatting down so that they were the same height. Shu ran over to them and brushed the young one's head.

"Shu," the little one said with a smile.

"How are you feeling?" Shu asked him.

"Great!" The little one answered happily before leaning in to give Shu a hug. He was worried that the procedure wouldn't work, so he was so happy to see that they separated as planned. Aichi smiled as Shu hugged him back and brushed his head.

"Mr. Sendou, we would like to double check your condition before you leave. We want to make sure that the procedure we did won't create long term health issues," Theodore said. Aichi nodded as a nurse walked by with a wheelchair. Shu helped Aichi on the chair since he wouldn't let him go.

"I'll leave you two to catch up," Aichi said before leaving with Theodore.

"Shu, we should continue with the battles now," one of the Raging Bull bladers said to him. Shu nodded before moving away from Aichi.

"Sorry, Aichi. Do you want to watch while I train?" Shu asked him. Aichi nodded happily as a nurse wheeled him closer. Shu got into position. He was using the launch he used against Lui in the semi-finals. Aichi stayed to watch the rest of the training session. He was used to this since Shu always trained alone when they were back at home.

Spriggan was incredibly powerful and Aichi was so happy to see that. After a few hours of non-stop training, the team was dismissed for the day. Aichi had fallen asleep after watching for a few hours and the nurse watched over him at all times.

"He is still exhausted from the procedure, but he really wanted to see you as soon as possible," the nurse said. Shu pushed the wheelchair back to Aichi's room. His room looked more like a hospital room more than anything. The nurse helped Aichi onto the bed. She decided to leave the two alone after helping Aichi get comfortable.

"Shu…" the little one muttered in his sleep. Shu smiled and brushed his head while he slept. Soon the older Aichi returned and saw the two.

"You should wash up, I'll watch the little one while you're gone," Aichi said with a smile. Shu nodded and got up. When he did, the little one's peaceful expression turned into a distressed one.

"Shu…" he whimpered. Shu sat back down and did the same motion as before which made the little one smile in his sleep. Shu and Aichi turned to each other and started laughing quietly.

"I guess he wants to be with you right now. I'll be leaving now since the little one is well," Aichi said.

"Thank you for staying here for so long, Aichi. I will do everything I can to protect him…" Shu responded before they turned to the young boy.

Aichi nodded. "I know he'll be in good hands… I will be off now. You'll still have a connection with Blaster Blade, so let him know if you need me to come back," Aichi said before turning to the door. After half an hour, the little one woke up and saw Shu beside him. Shu had a towel over his shoulders and his hair was still wet after washing up.

"Aichi, how are you feeling?" Shu asked him after noticing he woke up.

"A bit tired…" Aichi answered. "Shu, can you stay with me?" He asked him. Shu smiled and dried his hair with the towel a bit more before laying down beside him.

"Do you miss home?" Shu asked him.

Aichi shook his head and looked up with a smile. "No, you're here with me," he answered. Shu nodded and hugged him to sleep.

The next day, Shu woke up early in the morning. He gently got out of bed for early morning training. Aichi woke up a little after noticing Shu wasn't beside him anymore. "I'm going to train," Shu informed him.

Aichi nodded drowsily before falling back asleep. Shu changed into his running clothes and walked down to the training room. He used the training machines there hours before his teammates woke up and came downstairs. "Shu, who was that kid yesterday?" One of his teammates asked him casually before using the treadmill beside him.

"He's my brother," Shu answered.

During the lunch break, Shu headed back to the top floor to Aichi and found him sitting up on his bed with food on the bed table. "Shu! How was training?" Aichi asked him happily while waving at him weakly to come.

There were enough portions of food for two people, so Shu knew that Aichi was waiting for him. "It went well. You shouldn't have waited for me," Shu responded before sitting on the other side of Aichi's bed.

"It's not the food that you cook… so I at least want to eat it with you," Aichi said with a pout. Shu laughed before looking at the food.

"Should we start eating then?" Shu asked him before taking one of the sandwiches into hand. Aichi had some porridge to eat and Shu noticed how weak his grip was on the spoon. He quickly ate his food before taking the spoon from Aichi's hands. "Let me help," he said before holding out a spoon full to Aichi.

"Thank you, Shu," Aichi thanked happily. The nurses outside squealed at the cuteness. Shu fed Aichi the rest of the food before heading out for training again. The nurses needed to run some tests to make sure he is still stable.

Later in the day, Aichi entered the training area with a nurse wheeling him in on a wheelchair. He was wheeled to Shu who was at the lat pulldown machine. Shu looked serious, so he didn't want to disturb him. He just sat to the side cleaning the old Spriggan while Shu was training. "Is this your Beyblade?" The nurse asked Aichi with a smile. She noticed that the energy layer was completely split in half.

Aichi shook his head. "It's Shu's old Beyblade, he said I can have it," he answered happily. She smiled knowing that it must mean a lot to him.

"Time for scrimmage matches!" The head coach announced. Shu got up from the machine and patted Aichi's head before walking past him.

"Shall we move upstairs?" The nurse asked Aichi. Aichi nodded before being wheeled out to take an elevator up to the upper floor since he couldn't take the stairs. When they left the elevator, Aichi saw a familiar face.

"Mom!" Aichi called.

"Ms. Kurenai, I'll leave Aichi to you," the nurse said before leaving the two alone. They had some catching up to do.

"Aichi, I'm so glad you are okay! How are you feeling?" She asked him while hugging him tightly. She was so worried about him even with all the calls from Shu assuring her Aichi was fine. She pulled away from Aichi and examined him closely.

"I can't walk yet… and I'm still a little weak…" Aichi said while touching his legs lightly. Shu's mom smiled worriedly before holding her hands out.

"I remember doing this with Shu when he was a baby," she said with a smile. Aichi nodded before getting up from the wheelchair. He was really wobbly and his legs gave in really quickly. She supported Aichi well and he was able to take a few steps. "One step at a time," she encouraged him gently while walking into the room.

When Aichi and his mom entered the room, it caught Shu's attention immediately. Shu's mom slowly helped Aichi to the bench where he sat down while she went outside to push the empty wheelchair. Once everything was settled, she sat down beside him. The two whispered at each other and chuckled. Aichi even pulled out the old Spriggan to show her.

He also showed the little charm of Spriggan that he was holding on to in his pocket. Shu's mom pulled out a beaded bracelet. "I bought this for you. It brings good health and I also brought one for Shu too for good fortune," she said before helping Aichi wear the bracelet. She also looped the charm to Aichi's bracelet so that he wouldn't lose it.

"Thank you, mom," Aichi thanked her happily while looking at the bracelet amazed.

When it was Shu's break, he walked over to them looking embarrassed. "Mom… why did you come all the way here?" He asked her. He heard everything she whispered to Aichi and it was very distracting.

"I wanted to see if you were making new friends here and Aichi with my own eyes," she answered while brushing Aichi's head. Aichi held out Shu's bracelet childishly.

"Thank you," Shu said before holding his arm out so that Aichi could put it on him. Aichi looked really happy and waved his charm happily. Shu took out his launcher and waved it to him too. The charm of Blaster Blade dangled there.

"I hope that it doesn't get in your way," Aichi said shyly.

"Of course it doesn't," Shu responded while brushing his head. "Mom, how long will you be staying?" He asked before sitting beside Aichi.

"I will be in America for a little while. I will be a four hour drive away from you two, but I will visit you two when I have time," she answered while using an arm to hug Aichi which made him smile.

"Don't work yourself too hard, mom," Shu said worriedly. He soon had to return to training. In the middle of training, Aichi fell asleep. Shu's mom carried Aichi up, signalling to Shu that she is going to bring Aichi back to his room first.

The nurse walked in to push the wheelchair back upstairs. The nurse took Shu's mom to Aichi's room. After putting down Aichi on his bed and tucking him in, she walked around the room, looking around. There were two double sized hospital beds. The other bed was neatly made up like no one was sleeping in it. "Does Shu stay in a different room?" She asked the nurse who was checking on Aichi. She didn't see any of Shu's stuff in the room, so she was a bit confused.

"Shu's room is the room on the left, but he tends to sleep in this room with Aichi," the nurse answered with a smile. She remembered seeing the two and squealed internally from the cuteness.

"I should have expected that," Shu's mom responded with a giggle.

"The bed was for Mr. Sendou. He returned home yesterday, so it is vacant right now," the nurse explained to her. Shu's mom walked back to Aichi's bedside and brushed his head.

"If it isn't much of a bother, I want to stay with my boys for the night," she requested.

"Of course! We changed the bedding earlier this morning, so feel free to use the bed over there. I'll ask someone to bring your luggage here," the nurse said before leaving the room in a hurry.

"Thank you," Shu's mom thanked her. She pulled the blanket a little further up to cover Aichi's neck. She looked sad since she knew it would take a lot of work for Aichi to be able to walk around and be able to do stuff on his own again.

Soon some security guards came in with her luggage and left it in the room. The nurse also came in with something for her to eat since it was getting late. "You didn't need to trouble yourselves with making me a meal. I was just going to find something else to eat on the streets," she said.

"No, we insist. You came all this way, so the least we can do is offer some hospitality," the nurse responded with a smile. The meal was placed on the table to the left of Aichi's bed.

After an hour, the team finished their training session. Shu showered first before heading over to Aichi's room. "Shu, how was training?" Aichi asked him happily when he walked inside. Their mom was feeding him porridge and there was a meal packed up on the side.

"It was good," Shu answered with a smile before walking to the table to eat.

"Aichi, we prepared a bath for you. We'll help you bathe right now," a nurse informed Aichi once he finished eating. He looked shy in response and looked down.

"Let me help him do it," Shu said as he finished eating. Aichi's face brightened and looked at him relieved. "Let's go," he said. Aichi nodded before their mom and the nurse helped him onto the wheelchair.

Shu went inside first and were taught what to do. When they were ready, they pushed Aichi inside and helped him take off his clothes. They then pushed him to a platform that rose after clicking a button then helped in himself the bathtub. Shu gently moved some of the water to Aichi's hair to get it wet. "Shu, are you really happy here?" Aichi asked him.

"Yeah. Not much has changed," Shu answered while using his hands to ruffle his hair. He took some shampoo and rubbed it into his head.

"Do you miss Valt, Daina and everyone else in the BeyClub?" Aichi asked him. Shu stopped moving his hand for a moment before continuing.

"Of course, I do. But it would have happened soon anyway. I'm sure they will search for their own professional teams soon," Shu explained to him with a smile. Aichi nodded and shut his eyes as bubbles got close to his eyes.

Shu was really efficient with helping Aichi wash up and they actually finished before their mom finished washing up. "Careful," Shu said while Aichi slipped a little while getting up with Shu holding onto him. Shu ended up carrying him out worried that he would slip and hurt himself.

"Thank you, Shu," Aichi thanked him with a smile while Shu placed him on a seat to the side. He helped Aichi dry himself and wear his clothes before wheeling him out.

By the time, their mom finished and walked inside the room, Shu was blow drying Aichi's hair. Aichi looked like he was dozing off while his hair was being blow dried. "Aichi, there is a match coming up. I won't be here the day after tomorrow," Shu informed him after turning off the blow dryer and brushed his hair with a comb. Aichi suddenly woke up and turned to him worriedly. He wanted to go with him to the stadium.

"Okay…" Aichi answered him sadly while Shu placed the brush on the nightstand. Shu smiled and helped him lay down on the bed.

"You can go watch Shu in person when you feel better," their mom said while Shu laid beside him. She walked over and tucked them both in.

"Good night, mom," they said.

"Good night, Aichi… Shu…" she responded before closing the lights. Aichi leaned closer to Shu before closing his eyes to sleep.

The next morning, Shu woke up early like usual, except he noticed their mom wasn't in bed. Aichi was still fast asleep with his head touching Shu's neck. He gently got out of bed and gently tucked Aichi back in. "Shu, I thought you'd wake up early. I made breakfast for you this morning," their mom whispered while at the door with a tray of Teishoku for him. She also had something for Aichi too, but it was in a thermos so that it stayed warm.

"Good morning, mom. Thank you for the meal," Shu thanked her before taking the tray off her hands. Aichi was still sleeping soundly, so they didn't bother waking him up since he was still recovering.

After eating, Shu changed and went downstairs to train. Their mother left after feeding Aichi his breakfast and taking him downstairs. Now Aichi was reading a book while sitting beside Shu who was training. There was a nurse with him at all times. "Aichi, do you understand this material?" She asked him curiously. She saw that the book was a textbook that was far too advanced for someone his age.

Aichi nodded his head before flipping the page. The textbook laid on his lap comfortably. When the scrimmage matches were about to begin, Theodore walked inside the room. Aichi looked up from his textbook as he saw a shadow cast down onto the pages. "Aichi, there are some tests that we would like to run on you. It won't be scary, I promise. Even Shu can come with us," Theodore said. Aichi nervously turned to Shu who gave him a nod.

"Okay…" Aichi responded shyly. Theodore smiled and pushed the wheelchair himself.

"Thank you for cooperating with us," he said before pushing Aichi out of the room. The entire time, Aichi looked at Shu, who was beside him worriedly. He was taken to the basement where the labs were.

"Where are we going…?" Aichi asked him worriedly as they traversed through the hallways.

They soon reached a small room with a device of some kind. Some scientists helped Aichi onto a bed before a helmet was placed on his head and strapped in. "What is happening…?" Aichi asked them, sounding scared.

"There is nothing to be afraid of. Just close your eyes and relax yourself," the scientist reassured him. He wasn't able to relax until he felt a hand touch his.

"It will be okay. I'm here," Shu said while brushing Aichi's hand to sooth him. Aichi relaxed and closed his eyes. He could hear the machine start up before he suddenly blanked out.

The next thing he knew, he was back inside his room in his bed. He had no idea what happened, but Shu was sleeping beside him, hugging him. Aichi shuffled a little and nuzzled his neck. The small movement almost woke Shu up, but he fell back asleep. He knew Shu needed as much rest as he could since his first professional match was coming up.

When Shu woke up, he looked down to see that Aichi was sleeping with his head leaning against him. He gently released Aichi like he usually did in the morning, but this time Aichi looked up like he was awake the entire time.

"Aichi, you're awake," Shu said, sounding relieved. He brushed Aichi's head.

"Good morning, Shu… I thought the match was a little later…" Aichi said while turning to look at the time. Shu woke up even earlier than usual.

"I wanted to get some more training in before tonight," Shu told him as he got out of bed. "Nevermind me, how are you feeling? Are you tired?" He asked him.

"No, I'm wide awake!" Aichi answered him happily. "Good luck today, Shu. I know you'll win!" he said. Shu smiled and nodded. Aichi pulled himself up from the bed and watched Shu leave the room and come back changed.

"I'm going downstairs," Shu told him. Aichi did look at him longingly like he wanted to go too. "Do you want to come?" He asked him. Aichi nodded enthusiastically.

"Okay. I'll take you to brush your teeth," Shu said before helping Aichi into his wheelchair. Shu helped him wash his face and brush his teeth before pushing him downstairs. While Shu was training, he saw Aichi trying to get up from his wheelchair shakily. He held onto the arm which made his arms shake as well. "Be careful, Aichi," Shu said between his breaths.

"I will," Aichi responded while focusing, but his legs soon gave way and his arms couldn't support him. Shu ran over once he saw Aichi start to fall over, but he wasn't able to make it before he hit his head on the ground. Aichi began tearing up as Shu pulled him up.

"I told you to be careful," Shu said while brushing Aichi's head. He lifted Aichi up into his arms and placed him back on the chair. "Are you okay? How much does it hurt?" Shu asked him while soothing the area where Aichi's head made contact with the ground.

Aichi shook his head worrying that he would have to leave Shu's side or make him stop his training. Shu pulled away from Aichi and brushed his cheek. "Stay put, okay? When I come back from the tournament, I'll help you with walking," he said. Aichi nodded with still teary eyes. "Okay, do you want to help me clean Spriggan right now?" He asked him while reaching into his belt pocket and handing Legend Spriggan and a cleaning cloth to Aichi.

Aichi nodded before taking the items into hand. Shu smiled and ruffled his hair before going back to training. Aichi gently wiped Spriggan, he definitely noticed some wear on the Beyblade. That showed just how much training Shu did to master using it so quickly.

After running a bit on the treadmill, Shu walked to the stadiums, taking the elevator so that Aichi could come too. "I'm practicing a new launch," Shu said to him. Aichi was excited as Shu got into position. It was a left handed launch and Shu's arm was all the way to the right side.

When Shu launched, Spriggan landed unstably for a second, but corrected itself like Blaster Blade used to do. Then it started moving strangely which amazed Aichi. The tip was grinding on the ground to make the movement possible. "Wow!" Aichi exclaimed, amazed.

Shu smiled. "There's still a lot of work to do, but what do you think?" He asked Aichi. The moment he looked over, he already knew the answer and Aichi couldn't even put his amazement into words.

Shu practiced for a few more minutes before a teammate walked inside. "Shu, you're up even earlier than usual," the boy commented after seeing Shu practicing his launching. He was now working on his usual Crux Boost Launch. The boy looked over and saw Aichi sitting there. "Oh! Your brother is here early today," he said. Aichi was very shy and he would usually be sticking behind Shu at this moment, but he couldn't while still unable to walk.

"Hello…" Aichi greeted him quietly.

"He's shy," Shu said while walking to Aichi's side.

"Oh, don't worry! I came by to get you since we're going to leave soon," the boy said.

"Got it. I'll take Aichi back to his room first," Shu said while brushing Aichi's head with his hand. He wheeled Aichi back upstairs and helped him back onto the bed. Shu was packing his backpack since he was probably going to be gone all day.

"Good luck, Shu," Aichi said once Shu was done. Shu nodded and put his forehead against his head with his hand on Aichi's head.

"I'll make sure to win. Listen to the nurses and stay put while I'm gone," Shu said before moving away from Aichi.

Aichi was a little confused why Shu seemed nervous since he usually didn't have too much visible stress. He just thought that his fall must have worried Shu more than he thought. "I will," Aichi said. Shu ruffled Aichi's hair one more time before leaving.
