"Senna, what are you waiting for? Let's go."
I pushed Senna forward. She continued staring and didn't budge.
"Come on Senna! You're being ridiculous! We've got to move NOW!"
"Hush," Senna said.
"Uh... RUDE!"
"Seriously SHUT UP! I think I hear something..."
Really? She was playing the 'I hear something' card? There are so many creatures in the Amazon. There are somethings everywhere!
But then I heard it.
A rustling noise.
Soft but noticeable. Noticeable enough for Senna to leap out into the bushes and tackle whatever was back there.
A strange boy's face popped up. Senna was on top of him, trying to tackle him.
"Senna. Come down," I said, "I think I know this young man."
Senna dropped off of the boy's back. The boy swished his hair over to the left side and started to speak.
"Zafrina, Senna. I come in peace. I was here on the night of the Volturi battle, for the supposed vampire child."
"Who are you?" I asked.
"Benjamin."
