Unfortunately, Harry's idea to use snakes to find the big snake was not as successful as he hoped it to be. Sure, they had found some new passages he could open with parseltongue and move through the castle as quickly as possible without being a ghost but the sudden and only in the night appearing magical ice that attacked his snakes was unsettling. IT felt like the castle wanted to defend itself against the snakes or even the king of snakes. With the magical ice decreasing the temperature rapidly in the corridor it appears. Only to vanish like clockwork if the time for classes gets close leaving behind some water and heating up castle walls. Harry had no idea how he should deal with this anomaly. All his poking led him to believe that this time the castle wards only tried to do what they were supposed to do. Defend the inhabitants. One night he was investigating the second floor when he heard some muffled screams for help. Carefully, Harry made his way to the source of the screams only to see one of the Weasley twins with a foot enclosed in the magical ice. The other one looked like he had wanted to blast it away only for his arm to get caught in ice too.
"He should be near, maybe he can help," One said to the other, looking at a piece of Parchment before mumbling something to the Parchment and pocketing it away.
"I hope so Fred. I really do. With his popping in and out you could say he is apparating inside of Hogwarts," the other said.
Harry was intrigued, whatever they used it sounded helpful. Getting his invisibility cloak off and folding it inside one of his robe pockets he took the last steps to come into view.
"Well if it isn't the terror twins of mischief caught in the ice."
Looking into two relieved-looking faces Harry had to hold his chuckle in as he laid his hand on the eyes and began some soothing strokes. It did not take long for the ice to slowly melt.
Both of the Weasley twins sighed relaxing. They looked at Harry and bowed elegantly.
"Thank you…."
"... Oh Master of Ravens."
Harry chuckled. "I found out the Ice attacks all those that want to harm students You did not plan a prank didn't you" He asked with a smirk.
Both of the twins looked at him with faux anger. "We…"
"...Pranks?" They pointed at themselves and then at each other.
"No. wouldn't do something like that."
Harry gave them a raised brow.
"Are all of you Weasley so good at lying" He meant good-naturedly. While he raised some wards with the swish of his wand. "And please, stop the Twin-speak or I will let you stay on the ice next time"
The Twins looked before one of them nodded. "Easy there Harry, no not all of us Weasley are pranksters. You know not every one of us good ol chaps. Our two oldest Brothers are out of Hogwarts. One is a curse breaker and the other a dragon handler. Perce is in his sixth year and as you know a prefect. Us two as you called it the terror twins of mischief. Little Ronnikins and now the last of us seven the fiery Ginevra"
Harry nodded. "Yeah, those in Hogwarts I knew. Ginevra though I only saw at the sorting. Is she more reclusive or shy than you lot?"
The twins looked at each other. Both frowned for a bit. "Usually not no, but she is the first girl in seven generations of Weasleys so she maybe is a bit shy for the moment. At home, she was very much spot on to fire back at us."
Harry let that sink in before he looked at the twins. "Well, what are you doing here and what was that parchment you had in your hand?"
The twins looked at each other before they looked at Harry. "Ahh Harry old chap. Look at the time." The other picked up before he let something drop "See you later"
The Darkness that engulfed Harry, let him expand his Staff to full length before he bumped it on the ground. The Shockwave of magic cleared the whole floor of the black dust but the twins were long gone. Harry sighed sensing around before he summoned some snakes.
"Focus the investigations on this corridor, but stay out of sight as much as possible. I want to know why the ice here is thicker."
Harry put some blood on each of the summoned snakes before he started incanting the long and hissed chant. He hoped that the warming charm he used a mix of blood and parselmagic to make the snake invisible to other eyes and hopefully more resistant to the magical ice.
"Report back to me as soon as someone does something suspicious" he hissed at the snakes before he also vanished into the dark corridors.
Days later Study Hall
Harry sat at one of the solo tables today. First of all, he had to read some letters and second, he needed to reply to some others. The first letter he opened was one he knew in an instant, the red Lipstick on the envelope hiding a charm to identify his magic. None other than his 'Aunt' would do something like this. Opening the letter and beginning to read he had to sigh
"My lovely Harry,
I hope you still follow my order to make some friends. That you try to build up the Longbottoms confidence, is all good but you also need to spread out some.
We are still looking into your godmother's illness, but this magical hospital is very secure. I can't risk my operatives looking into it more quickly than possible at the moment. Back to the topic of making friends and allies. One day you will have to claim your seats in the Wizengamot and enter the political field. Without allies, you will never get something done in this corrupted circle of old and pompous asses.
Now what do I hear about a Bassilisk? Do you plan to save this little scaly thing too? I really would like some new clothes made out of snakeskin though. So if you are looking for a good present for your lovely aunt you maybe want to look into getting me something nice. You know I like leather the most. This leads me to your homework till the end of the year. I want you to begin reading the Books "Passion in Chains", "The Art of Pain" and "Blood Business". I want you proficient in the described techniques before you get back into my services. Speaking about services, I get the same reports from Miss Delacour as you do and I have to say I did not know that it would be so effective to grant Miss Granger more access to her parents. She is developing nicely, I approve. Don't let yourself get bitten by a stupid snake you know that my sweet Lilith and I call dips on that.
Stay safe"
Ending with another Lipstick imprint he sighed. It was true that he started to cultivate friendships with Neville and the others. Mostly he clicked with Sayuri though. Neville was losing the stutter and the Potions study sessions here in the Study hall helped him slowly develop some confidence. His proficiency in Herbology was helping him leisurely understand the interaction between the ingredients that he shared with the group. the two Hufflepuffs in Harry's group with Susan and Hannah were a good addition. Hannah was sharing Neville's enthusiasm with plants so they had something to talk about. Susan and Sayuri were mostly talking about dueling. A shared interest, both of them had, combining charms and defense against the dark arts with a bit of transfiguration.
Harry looked at them from the distance before he opened the next letter. This one was Hermione's script. But much more elegant and cursive than before.
"Dear Master,
please be careful in your dealings with the king of snakes. I still try to get a grasp on what you did after you helped me. I first wanted to scream and shout at you. Claw your eyes out with my fingers, but now I have to acknowledge that I entered a new world. A world that has different views than Britain. Even here in Beuxbatons, it is different. Fleur is still tutoring me in what she thinks should be the proper behavior of a house-owned servant. My knees even stopped hurting after curtsy so often. My ballet and fencing lessons are progressing slowly if you would ask Fleur. That I can beat Gabby with my rapier is not enough for her. She drills both of us hard. After I asked her why, she told me that Veela often get into trouble because of their beauty and skills. Regarding me, she only said, that she promised you to look after me so she trains me accordingly. This training recently means that I have to spar against her, the reigning school champion, with forfeits on the line. After I asked her what the humiliation and extra work of washing her sweaty uniform or the foot rubs would positively do for my training she only chuckled looked at me and said. "You don't like doing it right? So you will do your best to improve as fast as possible and now take a good whiff of my breast protector before you let it slip into the water".
I don't know what to say, Master. She stopped controlling our letters because she said she trusted me to write the truth and address you accordingly without her breathing down my neck. So maybe it relates to my necklace but I feel that as long as you master won't give me the leave to do so I can't drop the title. I digress though. Those punishments are strange, At first I didn't know that Veela could do something that would lead to a human being not liking them but the sweat in our fencing uniforms is not a good smell. After the third time, I get the feeling my body adjusts to it though.
Again, Master, I don't know what is happening to me but I feel myself changing. I am still studious but I am not the same Know-It-All. I even have some friends here. Thank you again, Master.
Your loving Servant,
Hermione. "
Harry vanished the letter too before he let a smile creep on his face. It looked like Hermione was enjoying her time in France. He would have to address those other things with Fleur though. He had only asked her to look after her and build up Hermione's knowledge to fit into her role and bring up what was lying deep within her a bit. That she was progressing this quickly was unexpected but not unwelcome. He took out a quill and penned his response letters before he joined the others later for some practical drills in transfiguration. He was slowly understanding these other ways of doing magic. Even the Asian way that most Britains would misinterpret as wandless magic. Their loss.
Nighttime around the Ravenclaw Tower
Harry had trained a bit too long with Sayuri. They now included more stuff in their sparring. Using Bo against the sword was not the only thing. She taught him some basic forms for swords or two daggers. After that, they practiced calligraphy to write some basic runes or even practiced hand seals. It was slow progress for both of them but it would give them an ace or two up their sleeves against the conservative British magicians. Harry had slowly felt that the magic in his body was flowing more freely with each day. Sharing it with Sayuri led them both to the understanding that training in different ways to manipulate the magic was helping the body harmonize with it. Harry had stayed back after Sayuri left for the common room to clean up the mess they made and wait for the report of his snakes. Just as he was about to finish up and leave the empty classroom they used a little grass snake came into the room.
"Speaker, we found some suspicious thing happening a corridor below. Some elder students harassing a blonde Hatchling."
Harry did not even need to ask whereas he looked into the mind of the snake before rushing off. Expanding his Staff he used a hissed Chant to break the charms on the door looking at two sixth-year Ravenclaws that looked at a cowering blonde. Both sixth years turned at the door that crashed into the wall only to be met by the blunt force of Harry's Staff spinning into their faces. Harry came to a halt in front of the cowering girl looking at her.
"You are Luna right?"
She sobbed and nodded before the angry voice of one of the sixth years let Harry's head snap in his direction. "She is a bloody Loon, Who do you think that you are that you burst into our business?"
Harry's face switched to an angry snarl. "I give you one chance to get out of here before I will use your faces for target practice. To harass a first-year as her senior is just so wrong! Why can't you just leave her alone or even better be there for her?"
The answers of both sixth years were no words to mediate but curses in the direction of the first and second year. Luna was sobbing as Harry used his twirling staff to slap the magic away. The two sixth-years looked flabbergasted for a moment before they just threw more curses at him. Harry wanted to dodge and hit them so badly but he had Luna to protect. He slowly let his magic flow and built a small ward around Luna to prepare for his counterattack. But he never needed to do that. A yell was coming from the door.
"BY MERLIN WANDS DOWN !" At the door standing was Professor Flitwick and an exhausted Sayuri. Harry slapped the last curse away, making sure the Professor had his wand out before he got to Luna and slowly got on one knee beside her.
"You okay there Luna?" Getting only small sobs but a nod. He had to turn and explain his side of the story. The two sixth years got detention and Harry lost some points for breaking curfew and earning the doubled amount back for helping Luna. Sayuri was staying back as Flitwick took the sixth years away after making sure nobody was hurt. The two second years spoke a little bit with their junior making sure that she was okay, and could come to them with her problems let a beautiful and honest smile come to the face of one Luna Lovegood.
After the encounter with Luna Harry made sure that someone from his group was always around her. It did not take long for the castle to spread the news about the nightly encounter. Most of the usual troublemakers stayed away because of that. Those who first wanted to experience firsthand how it would feel to get slapped in the face with the Dragonbone-enhanced Staff tried their luck. But after a week everything cooled down. First of all, Harry had trouble following Luna but after some conversations, he had an understanding of the creatures she used to communicate certain things she could see with her natural sight. Harry found out that Luna had some kind of magical sight. She could see the magic of a person, she described it like she was able to tell if someone was genuine even though lies were easy for her to detect. She hid this skill behind those creatures, as she was not able to be silent about it. Harry was thinking that this must be something like a true seer had when they did a prophecy. Luna could remember what she told others. Her mother taught her this method before she passed away to channel her powers but not alarm others. Luna had told him that the family on her mother's side always had strong seers, but all of them could tell who would be a danger to them. Luna later told him that she feared that she would slip up if she talked normally most of the time so she was fine with hiding behind her Loony character. Harry felt something break inside of him as she told him that she had no other way. Her father owned a small magazine nothing really big and since her mother died she feared that he could not deal with the loss.
Harry penned a letter to Andromeda later that day and hoped she would come up with a way to help Luna somehow.
He would not lie to say having someone like her would be deadly useful but somehow he was not willing to deal Luna a bad hand of options. He would honestly try to help her and would go from there.
When he was not spending time with his friends he was sitting over the tome about parselbased healing magic. Luckily and with the help of the Index he found even more books relating to the topic. Even a possible way to shield his eyes properly from the big snake. It was mentioned that a breeder of Basiliks should always apply the charm to be saved from the gaze so Harry could only hope it worked as well as the other he already had found.
Besides learning and preparing for the clash with the snake while still cursing that his snakes could find the culprit, he enjoyed how the study hall helped everyone improve with the spellwork. Some would say he was the reason for this because he was a good instructor.
He just explained how the Protego charm would work and demonstrated it with the help of Stinging hexes thrown at him by Susan. That he was able to block them all and even redirect some was something his peers had gaped at. Harry just doesn't understand their behavior they should see him duel with Sayuri. They used their weapons, wands, and even some simple magical manipulations to dodge. That was something Harry would say you could gape at. How Sayuri danced with her weapons was truly something beautiful. Like a deadly Ballerina, she twisted and turned. Sometimes Harry merely could dodge the curses she used with the wand in one of her hands before she was inside his guard to dodge the blade next.
Something he noticed beginning was that he saw the girl differently this year. He noticed her body and his. Possibly the reason why he had to read those smutty books the Queen had recommended.
Not talking about the miraculous ways the puberty hit young magicals Harry was just coming out of the shower after a very fulfilling Quidditch game. It was a close thing for the whole game till he got the snitch against Gryffindor. The new brooms had evened the playing field. So much so, that all the teams were mostly on even ground in one position. But some players had just more talent than the opponent. Gryffindor was such an example. Their Chaser Line and Beaters were nearly perfect. Captain and Keeper Wood was possibly one of the best Keepers Hogwarts had seen for a long time. But the now fair competition had forced the other teams to adapt and adjust their training. Exactly what they did and now the Games at Hogwarts were sought out not only by scouts but also by parents and Quidditch Fans around Great Britain. The matches now were just a bit slower than on the professional scale but overall very fun to watch. The Ravenclaw team was just about to leave for their common room when Professor Flitwick stopped them.
"First congratulations on this hard-fought victory. 350 - 330. Just the right time to catch the Snitch Mister Potter. Unfortunately, there was another attack and the headmaster requested your presence in the hospital wing. I think I won't have to implore my logical students, that Mister Potter is not under suspicion to be the culprit" He looked at the rest of the team who nodded with a facial expression that said something like "We can think rationally Professor"
Harry locked his broom up before he followed his Head of House. As the small Professor made sure they were alone he opened up a bit more about the incident after casting a moving silencing ward. "The victim this time is a first-year Gryffindor who was late to the match. The Headmaster is hoping you can heal him so he can tell us more."
Harry nodded and followed him to the hospital wing. Here a concerned-looking Headmaster and Deputy Headmistress waited on Harry. "Thank you for coming as quickly. I asked the ghosts and Portraits to report back to me. I feared risking lives when the elves would join in. I can't say why but the ancient magic is preventing the ghosts and portraits from directly telling me what they see. I hope you can give us some insights Mister Potter. I am currently really thinking about sending the students home till we do a full sweep of the castle again."
Looked at Colin while he listened Harry was troubled. The same residue as with Miss Norris. He began to whisper his chant, he could feel that this would be much more taxing than healing Miss Norris. The two teachers and matron looked at him while he did so.
"Astonishing" Madam Pomfrey told them as her diagnostic spells showed how Harry seemingly put one part after another out of the magical stasis. "Such a control in one so young and that this branch of magic would be able to do something like that."
Colin blinked his eyes as Harry finished before the raven-haired boy quickly pulled out his cloak in a twirling motion to disappear. Flitwick smirked before the Headmaster looked at the first-year student. "Mister Creevey? How are you feeling my boy?"
The bespoken looked up. "Headmaster Sir? Where is this big snake? Did my camera get the picture good?" he rambled before Pomfrey took charge dosed the boy with a calming draught and advised the Headmaster to give her some room. The three professors were standing before the hospital wing.
"Mister Potter?" Flitwick asked to get no answer. The Headmaster and his Deputy looked around.
"I think Mister Potter bolted on us. Fifty Points to Ravenclaw for helping a student in need I would say. But this confirms Mister Potter's suspicion. Mister Creevey was lucky. Minerva, I am afraid I have to ask you to prepare the school for emergency procedures." Dumbledore looked at his Deputy with a sorrowful look. He felt like a failure all his resources could not help him deal with the mystery named Chamber of Secrets not fifty years ago and not this time. Before the Deputy could do so a flaming script appeared before them.
"Give me three weeks, I have a clue how to solve this mess once and for all but for that you have to make sure our culprit doesn't know that I am on the trail of this snake whisperer. HP"
"Albus?" Minerva looked at the Headmaster who had an even more troubled expression than before.
Turning to his charms master. "Filius you wanted to open up a dueling circuit right? I have Lockhard in my ears for weeks now I will let our DADA colleague try his luck before you can pick up the slack when this mess is cleared up. The Half Goblin gave him a nod. "Minerva, I want the students to only move in groups for the time. The castle ghosts should provide some cover. Have them accompanied by teachers and a ghost."
Both Professors were leaving to make the arrangements Dumbledore sighed before he spook in the now dark nothingness of the corridor. "I hope you know what you doing Harry. I really do." Before he disappeared in a pop of air.
Moments before, the Abandoned Room around the Hospital wing
A snake quickly found him after he left the infirmary.
"Speaker, we found the entrance and a person who is also a speaker, but this hatchling tasted strange."
Harry wasted no time and looked into the mind of the snake who provided him with the pictures and emotions.
"Good Job. I can see what you mean by tasting strange she looked more like a puppet on strings. I will deal with that. Give your brothers and sisters the order to retreat and stick to general reconnaissance. I don't want any of you hurt."
The snake nodded before Harry rushed by the Professor and listened in shortly giving them a message before he was quick to use shortcuts down to the second floor. The door to the girl's bathroom closed without showing a person. Harry could feel where the person was going though. Sneaking off away from the bathroom, Harry waited a minute before he entered it himself. Looking with his magic he quickly found the snake engraved on one of the basins.
"Open" he hissed at it before he watched as the whole construct sunk into the ground. Sliding down the pipe was funny. The shredded skin of a Basilisk was something completely different. Not like the normal cast-off skin of a snake that would be mostly transparent, the skin was still a dark nearly black-green. Harry had a feeling, that this skin would still be able to serve as clothing maybe was even better to use. He would have to get back to this later. Making his way through the different doors he looked at the great chamber he was standing in. Looking at the great stone face with an open mouth he had enough time to cast his protection spell before he was looking at the biggest Basilisk that ever lived. Letting his Wings spread out and Scales cover his arms he expanded his Staff.
"Why are you harming schoolchildren you great snake?" Harry hissed before he took to the sky internally sighing that he could look at those yellow eyes and not instantly die. The drain he could feel to uphold it was not to be joked about though.
"RIP… TEAR… KILL!" even to Harry that hissing was more like a mad ramble. Riddle would have done something to this magnificent beast. He could only hope that he would survive the coming battle. He had planned to reason with the snake as he did with every magical beast. Damn, he really should have thought about bringing some backup. Overriding his scent with that of the Basilisk using a spell he dodged the first attack, by flying to the side.
Each time he had to look into those yellow eyes his charm was strained. He would have to deal with these eyes first. Looking at the Water Harry flew through the air as he made some hand seals concentrating on his magic, Imagine what he wanted it to do adding to the seals his fingers made. Slowly water tentacles took hold of the big snake. Only for the big predator to begin thrashing against those binds. Harry quickly flew at its head striking out with his staff. Activating the cutting runes he only managed to attack one eye that splatted blood around.
Ignoring the Angry hisses he dodged a tail swipe that crushed the stone of some pillars. For a snake, this big it was still as quick as the smaller ones. Using the dark green blood he began to chant in the Language the Vampires were so fond of. Incanting the blood-tracing javelins, he used them to attack the snake. Seemingly sensing that it curled itself up letting its skin deflect the magic. Harry had to doge the whipping tail again.
Harry had hoped to reduce the potency of the gaze by destroying one of the eyes but the drain on his reserves was still too high for his liking. He would have to conserve his magical reserves as much as possible. A wild dance of dodges and near misses began and Harry was appreciative of his drake-like features and endurance. turning to avoid a fatal bite he punched it straight into the already injured eye.
"Come to your senses dammit!"
The strength of his in this form hit the snake like a big boulder of rock and it reeled to the side. At first, the hisses were just sounds but then Harry could hear something. "H..Help… See… For yourself…"
Attacking a century-old snake with Legilemency was not on his battle plans but felt the pleading tone in the hissing before he dived into the mind. He was drawn into a memory.
He was looking down at a sixteen-year-old wizard with charming looks that his wand pointed at the snake.
"You will serve me. I am the Heir of Slytherin!" CRUCIO"
Harry could feel the faint traces of the pain in the memory as it looked like he answered.
"I won't harm those my master wanted me to protect."
"You will. Bow to me CRUCIO!"
Harry had to draw back out finally understanding what the snake wanted to tell him. It was broken, the magic of Riddle had twisted this once majestic guardian into nothing more than a rabid attack god. For a short second the real Basilisk seemed to be in control as it bowed its head to Harry. Before it shook again.
"KILL KILL KILL!"
The angry hissing was indication enough before it lashed out again. Harry summersault backward to dodge before he had to roll out of the way. Unknowingly he had maneuvered himself into a corner of the wide hall. Harry noticed his situation a second later as his dodge was met by a stone wall.
"Damn, Shit. Really should have brought some help here"
As he finished that sentence in the opposite direction bright flames announced the arrival of a Phoenix. In his claws, he had the sorting hat. The Snake turned to the new arrival and hissed angrily at it giving Harry enough time to reposition himself.
"Thanks for the support Fawkes" He yelled while flying to the middle of the room as the bird flew at his side, dropping the sorting hat on his head.
"I see you keep yourself busy Mister Potter" was the voice of the hat, as Harry was flying up a bit.
"You could say so Hat. Not that I don't mind talking with you but" He pulled his wings in to go into a free fall turning around his axis before opening them again to brake his descent. Looking at the tail swipe he dodged "I am a bit busy at the moment. A certain idiot twisted the mind of this beautiful creature and I intend to end its suffering." As he ended the sentence he could feel something impacting his head. Fyling to the ground quickly to hide behind a stature he pulled a sword out of the sorting hat.
"Godric would be proud that someone won't just assume and think before he judges his best friend. You may need it your enchantments won't be able to pierce the hide. This sword will be though" The Hat told him, As Harry looked at the blade with a flick of the wrist it transformed into the familiar appearance of an eastern katana. Harry chuckled internally apologising to the founder of Gryffindor house but he had trained with this form much more than the European one. Looking at Fawkes evading the big snake masterfully while trying to strike at its eyes was a glorious sight. Harry calmed himself down. Dropping some of his blood on the legendary blade he coloured it black with a short chant. Focussing on his magic he put it to good use while breathing in a certain pattern. He could feel it stretching out from his head to his toes. What he was about to do was something Sayuri and he had trained for a while now. Putting the sword back in his scabbard holding it in his left hand he slowly made his way to the snake.
"Hey, you deranged beast. Come and face your death" He hissed in the more regal variant of parseltongue. The Basilisk was not impressed as it ignored Fawkes and slithered to Harry who looked like his concentration was on a high. The sorting hat looked from far away as he could see the young student let his right leg just slightly move forward. His right hand was on the hilt of the eastern variant of Godrics blade, while the left was just under the round guard of the blade. The Snake was picking up speed as it prepared to swallow the young Potter as a whole. It was in the blink of an eye and the hat would swear he heard a soft breeze as the snake and Harry struck at the same time. The Basilisk in a straight line while seemed to glide to the side while unsheating the Blade. The black blade cut into the open mouth of the snake before Harry used a short jump to land on the head of the hurting snake.
"Sorry." he turned the sword, holding it with both hands, and plunged it into the head of the snake. The thrashing stopped quickly after that. Fawkes was screeching a bit and flying in his direction. Pulling the sword out of the head he witnessed the blood and venom drawn into the now black blade before it looked as pristine before. Not having much time for celebration he wanted to flick the remaining remains off before sheathing it again he could feel the adrenaline leave him. Shortly after a strong pain was in his left arm. Looking at it he groaned. "Did you really… get me" Harry chuckled humoresly as Fawkes landed on the shoulder of his injured arm.
"Hey, Buddy. I have to deal with this yes." He began pointing his wand at the wound where the snake must have grazed him as he looked at the bleeding arm. Feeling the exhaustion creeping up, he maybe should not have used the blood curse on the blade but he had to make sure that the Basilisk would die. While he chanted in pained hisses at the would isolate the venom he did not even notice as a tear fell out of his eye of Fawkes and straight into the wound on his arm. He only broke his chant as he could see the sizzling and the shreds of skin reforming on his arm. He was really lucky that the snake must have scrapped over his scale armor before it pierced it and ripped at the skin. Getting on one knee out of exhaustion he looked at Fawkes. "Thanks, for everything." Getting a screech from the bird that picked up the sorting hat.
"Be careful you ruddy bird. Mister Potter, good technique at the end. I think Godrics Blade chose well. If you want to listen to my advice will it away as long as you don't need it. You won't have the attention that sword would gain you" Shortly after Bird and Hat flamed away. Leaving behind a panting Harry the boy looked at the new scar on his arm. All that was left were scratch-like markings.
"Lordey!" he shouted only for his Head elf to appear seconds later.
"Master, what can Lordey do…" The Elf looked around seeing the dead gigantic snake and his kneeling master. "Master, what…"
He stopped as Harry raised his one hand that still had the sheathed sword in his hand before willing it away. "Lordey can you and some of the others salvage the parts of this beautiful beast? Put it in stasis but be careful with its venom you may have to wear gloves and stuff to not injure yourselves. And yeah just outside of this chamber is shedded skin that too please."
The elf nodded slowly still coming the grasp what could have happened here. Snapping his fingers he began with his work. Looking back at his master that was slowly getting up on his two feet. Going to the entrance door he began scratching some runes in the stone around it.
"Thank you Lordey. I think I will go and rest now." Looking at his outfit he had some remains of snake and blood on it, sniffed himself. Lordey snapped his fingers cleaning him up. "Thanks, and yeah a shower would be dreamy. Give me a report when you are finished right?" Leaning on his staff Harry slowly made his way out of the chamber waving to the still head-elf that had more questions than answers before the trustful companion began with its work, summoning some of the other elves and instructing them to be careful they began to salvage this big beast.
