Toshinori's Choice

Chapter twenty-five: Into the work studies, raging on

The heroes and police were having an easy time rushing through the Shie Hassaikai hideout, what opposition they came across being thug level members and one former sidekick level pro hero who had followed Endeavor into villainy. "These guys don't stand a chance," Rock Lock sneered, "They really ought to just stop and yield to us, make the inevitable happen quicker and more easily."

"Don't go getting too cocky, Rock Lock," Fat Gum said, "We can be tripped up if we aren't careful."

Mirko was about to ask Fat Gum what he meant by that, but stopped short when a bunch of Shie Hassaikai thugs suddenly pored into the area, and their numbers proved to be enough to overwhelm the heroes before even reaching them. Fat Gum was about to call for everyone to hold the line, but stopped short when some of the thugs were suddenly swamped by a rush of blue flames. The flames died down, and the heroes and police saw it as Dabi, the leader of the other major villainous faction that the heroes had to deal with right now, was standing right there.

Dabi was accompanied by Spinner, Rappa, Gentle, Mr. Compress, and Twice who was conjuring some clones already. "You heroes and your police friends may not like it, but our respective sides both wanna see the Shie Hassaikai taken down before Endeavor gets too uppity," Dabi said, "There's more trouble ahead, my guys and I will hold these minions of Endeavor here so you all can rush on ahead."

"You do realize you and your fellows are all under arrest, right?" Aizawa asked.

"Yeah yeah yeah, you can try doing that AFTER you rescue the little girl that Chronostasis and Mimic managed to take back," Rappa replied, doing the 'blah blah blah' gesture with his right hand in a clear show of being annoyed, "Believe it or not, but saving young children taken by jerks is more important than arresting a few villains!"

The underground hero was surprised to find himself agreeing with Rappa, at least to an extent. Yes arresting villains was important, but Rappa had a point on how, if it came down to it, Aizawa would choose saving Eri over taking down and bringing in a villain any day of the week. The other heroes and police ran by, thanking Dabi and his fellows for holding the line for them.

As the heroes and police continued, they stopped when they came across a staircase. "Let's take this staircase," Sir Nighteye said, "It'll help lead us to Eri. I saw it in the vision I had thanks to using Foresight."

"It's odd that we've come across virtually no resistance," Aizawa said, "And the one bit of notable trouble we did find, Dabi and his fellows showed up to take care of it for us while letting us go on ahead."

"Villains though they are, at least they're helping us here," Sir Nighteye remarked, "And as for us encountering so little trouble, I'd say that the top names of the Shie Hassaiaki are otherwise too occupied to stop us." The heroes and their police allies proceeded to go on ahead, aiming to stop the Shie Hassaikai and save Eri from their clutches, no matter the cost.

After they proceeded down further, they encountered more thugs of the Shie Hassaikai, but there was enough of a numbers advantage on the heroes' side for the heroes to spare a few of their own to send on ahead to proceed further. "Mirko!" Sir Nighteye called out, catching the attention of the Rabbit Hero, "Take Mirio and the two girls working under Ryukyu on ahead! The others here and I will buy you time to make progress!"

"Got it, Nighteye!" Mirko said before gesturing for Mirio, Kinoko, and Reiko to follow after her, proceeding further towards the goal of rescuing Eri from the villains who had taken her.

Chronostasis and Mimic were out of luck, and they had to flee with Eri back to where Endeavor and some of his fellows waited. The two of them were able to find a journal in which the late Kai Chisaki wrote down the first five steps to making the quirk destroying bullets, and noted how the written steps were enough to make the imperfect version which only temporarily negated a target's quirk. But the journal went on to say that 'steps six through fifteen' which made the imperfect doses perfect and capable of permanently killing a target's quirk factor were only written down in Chisaki's mind.

The knowledge of making quirk destroying drugs perfect and capable of rendering someone permanently quirkless was taken to the grave with Chisaki.

Sure, they could produce the imperfect version to temporarily negate a target's quirk, but once initial panic from that wore off and the heroes mounted a game plan, things would get significantly tougher for Chronostasis and Mimic. And that meant that things would get tougher for the rest of their group, which included the new boss Endeavor. No doubt he wouldn't be please to hear it that he was losing a significant chunk of what power, influence, and resources he had access to. Mimic scowled in a bitter manner. "We're going to have to experiment around on our own until we figure things out."

"Yeah, although we at least have a start," Chronostasis said, remarking about how he and Mimic were still bringing with them both the old journal that they found AND Eri, whose blood was going to be needed to make more doses of quirk destroying drug hopefully. But the process will be very slow, not only because they now have to figure things out as Chisaki had greedily withheld all relevant info in case of betrayal, but Chisaki's quirk had helped to speed things up by gathering more of Eri's blood than what should be possible naturally.

Mimic and Chronostasis were about to get away, but stopped short when they heard a woman's voice call out, "Hold up right there, ya pricks! We'll be taking that little girl back now!" Turning around to look, Chronostasis and Mimic saw it as they were confronted by Mirko, who was followed by Mirio, Kinoko, and Reiko. The Rabbit Hero pounded a fist into her hand. "Unless you jerks want your respective faces pounded into a viscous red paste," Mirko began, "You both will yield and hand the girl over right this instant!"

Growling with frustration, Chronostasis said, "You wanna try and take the girl from us, heroes? Then come and get her!" Right away, Mirko and Mirio, being the upfront fighters of the group, rushed in at Chronostasis and Mimic, but Chronostasis had his clock hand-like hairs grow out wild and rush at the heroes to try and hit them. Mirko was keen at dodging and Mirio simply let the clock hand-like hair fly through him, his Permeation quirk allowing him to avoid everything. Reiko and Kinoko both hung back to use their quirks at a distance, and if a clock hand-like hair came at them they simply ran out of the way.

"Can one of you try ripping off their masks?" Kinoko asked, "It'll make it easier for my quirk to disable them!"

"Rip off ugly masks," Mirko said as she danced around the hairs of Chronostasis, "Got it!" Mirio got the idea as well and was about to rip off Chronostasis's mask, but a wall of floor shot up and cut him off, out of surprise rather than actually being something that can physically stop him. Mirio hopped back and that's when he saw the entire location was being manipulated.

Mimic's head then poked out from a portion of wall. "Ah ha ha!" Mimic laughed, "My quirk lets me merge with objects to manipulate them as I see fit! Granted I have to take a dose of Trigger to strengthen it enough to let me merge with objects bigger than a fridge, but now that I have full control of this battlefield I shall-"

*BONK*

Mimic was cut off when he was pelted with a rain of various objects, one of which hit him in the head hard enough to make him lose focus and fall out of the wall. With Mimic taken out of the wall and his focus sapped, he as well as Chronostasis were both vulnerable. This allowed Mirio and easy time to get to Chronostasis, only stopping when Mirko had to hop back to avoid getting hit. "You okay, Mirko?" Mirio called out.

"It'll take more than this to get me down!" Mirko called back, "Just focus on ripping their masks off!"

Mimic was able to recover just in time to see Kinoko trying to run up to him. Suddenly, Mimic pulled a gun out, making Kinoko take pause. "I'm warning you, little lady," Mimic snarled, "One more step-"

"Like I will let you!" Mirio said, rushing at Mimic with a speed greater than what Mimic could have anticipated.

Great speed... but not great enough to keep Mimic from taking aim at Eri. "Then you'd rather see the girl over there die!" Mimic screamed, "If we can't have her, then no-one can!" Eri, seeing the gun aimed at her, hunched up and cried out of fright, prompting Mirio to rush over to her and cover her with his own body, consequences to himself be damned.

"You will never harm Eri!" Mirio yelled at Mimic as he rushed to cover her, having to keep himself solid to prevent anything from flying through him to potentially hit Eri. Turning to face Mimic, Mirio called out, "So good lu-"

*KERSHUNK*

"GAAHH!"

Mirio was cut off when, due to needing to keep himself solid to prevent Eri from getting hurt, he took a throwing knife from Mimic that struck him right in the left eye. The blonde buff boy screamed in pain as the throwing knife managed to pull the ruined eye out from the eye socket, making Mirio scream in pain more as he stumbled away. The girls cried out in freaked out tones upon seeing Mirio hurt, although Mirko had more shouted in pissed off annoyance at the villains. "Ah ha ha ha!" Mimic laughed in a taunting tone, "This is what you heroes get for trying to stand up to your betters! Ah ha ha ha!"

"You bastards!" Kinoko yelled, "How dare you do that to Mirio-senp-"

*BANG*

Kinoko was cut off when Mimic aimed his gun at her and fired. Kinoko was hit, but not with a regular bullet. Reiko was about to complain, but Mimic cut her off by shooting her with the same gun. "That quirk of yours is an annoying nuisance, ghosty girl!" Mimic snapped, "So it goes bye-bye as well!"

Mirko, and Mirio with his one good eye, saw that Kinoko and Reiko were now both on the floor writhing in pain, as if their whole bodies were on fire. "The fuck did you fuckers do to those girls?!" Mirko snapped.

"Mimic..." Chronostasis began, sounding a bit annoyed, "...Had shot them with two of the very few remaining quirk destroying bullets that we have left. The drug is now coursing through their systems, destroying their quirk factors on such a level that after the magic is worked, both of them will be rendered permanently quirkless."

"You fiends!" Mirio shouted, "You would take a person's quirk away forever?!"

"And I'll do the same to you, muscle boy!" Mimic shouted as he took aim at Mirio.

"Mimic, that's the last shot!" Chronostasis scowled, "At least be careful!"

Mimic, too enraged by how the heroes had screwed with the Shie Hassaikai, took aim and fired at Mirio. But there was a little bit of bad news for him; Mirio still had enough focus to be able to use his quirk. Activating Permeation, Mirio allowed the quirk destroying bullet to fly right through him harmlessly, never giving that bullet a chance to stick into him and destroy his quirk factor. "Ah ha ha!" Mirio laughed through the pain as he taunted the villains, "Nice try! But it looks to me that you had gone and wasted your last-"

"AHHHHH!"

Mirio was cut off when he as well as everyone else heard Eri cry out in pain, making those not on the floor turn to look to see Eri writhing in pain as she clutched the side of her arm as if she were shot there. Everyone also saw it as Eri's horn on her head began to shrink down, eventually shrinking away and leaving her forehead totally smooth. The little girl then fell onto the floor as she writhed in pain a bit, as if her whole form were on fire. Although it was bad news for Mimic and Chronostasis that Mirio still had enough focus to use his quirk to avoid harm, it was bad news for Mirio that he forgot that Eri was behind him.

As such, Eri got hit by the last quirk destroying bullet.

"Eri!" Mirio called out, "Are you okay?"

"At least I hit someone with the last bullet," Mimic said, "And serves you heroes right for-"

"You idiot!" Chronostasis screamed at Mimic, cutting him off, "You hit the girl whose blood we needed to make more doses of the quirk destroying drug with the last quirk destroying bullet! The drug is now coursing through her system, destroying her quirk factor! Her blood is now useless to make more product! You had just taken all of our efforts to get the girl back from the heroes and rendered them all for nothing!"

Mimic chocked back a curse as he realized that Chronostasis had a point; Eri, due to being shot with the last quirk destroying bullet, was now useless for making more doses of even the imperfect quirk destroying drug. And that truly was the LAST dose; with the source now rendered moot, there was now no more chance of ever making more. The Shie Hassaikai's ability to control the Japanese populace through fear of taking their quirks away had just been rendered moot; they had just lost a LOT of their bargaining power.

Endeavor was NOT going to be happy about this at all.

Mimic tossed the now empty gun away as he and Chronostasis now had to focus on fighting Mirko and a half-blinded Mirio. When the fighting resumed, Mirio proved that even losing one eye and still being in pain from that wasn't enough to keep him down, and he still proved impossible to hit for Chronostasis and Mimic. Mirko was a little bit easier as Mimic was able to get in some solid blows on the Rabbit Hero, but only because she was focused on avoiding the clock hand-like hairs of Chronostasis. When Mirio was able to get in and land a solid blow across Chronostasis's face, partly knocking his mask off, Mimic yelled out, "Not another move, hero!"

Mirio turned to look with his one good eye and saw, to his horror, that Mimic was grabbing Reiko by her hair and holding her up as he had one of his throwing knives over her throat, primed to cut it open. "You and Mirko best surrender to us right this instant!" Mimic yelled, "Or the girl here will-"

*BANG*

Mimic was cut off, the throwing knife flying harmlessly away from his grasp, when he was shot by a powerful sniper shot that knocked him into his real form, before his head took another shot, resulting in Mimic's death. "Mimic!" Chronostasis cried out upon seeing his colleague shot and killed, "Who in blazes had-"

"KERSHUNK*

Chronostasis was cut off when a regular knife was stabbed into the side of his throat before the blade sliced out through the front, resulting in his throat being gouged out. Chronostasis was then dropped by the person who held him before killing him. To the surprise of Mirio and Mirko, it had been Toga who stabbed and killed Chronostasis. Similarly, Nagant came walking into view, her right arm transforming from a sniper rifle back to a regular arm. "Status report," Nagant said, making it clear she wanted to be told what happened.

Mirko smirked in tired amusement as she rubbed the sore shoulder she had after taking a hit there. "Heh, it's kinda funny, Nagant. You're a villain now, but you used to be a hero. And you're showing some heroic qualities right now. Not sure if the same can be said of that flaming sack of shit Endeavor, however."

Nagant merely rolled her eyes. "Just tell me how everyone's doing."

Mirio, as he caught some of his breath, said, "Eri and the two hero student girls here were all hit with quirk destroying bullets. The villains claim it will will destroy their quirk factors permanently, rendering them all quirkless. I lost an eye as you can plainly see, Mirko's roughed up somewhat badly but she looks like she can ultimately just walk it off, and the two villain we were fighting are both dead. But you and your partner here ought to be familiar with that last part."

"Eri and the two girls were shot with quirk destroying bullets?" Nagant said, looking surprised. Scowling, the sniper said, "Shit. That isn't good, that isn't good at all." Looking around to see Toga helping Reiko and Kinoko back to their feet, Nagant said, "Hey Toga! We need to get everyone out of here! Things are too dangerous for the girls who had been-"

"Wow, you look like a super skinny version of that girl at UA who's, like, super fat!" Toga said to Kinoko, "How come you're so skinny?"

"Wait," Kinoko said, "Are you talking about that Uraraka girl in Class 1-A? I mean I saw her before and she really is very obese, and she and I do have similarly colored hair in similar styles. As for why I'm thin, I-"

"We can talk about this stuff later," Nagant cut in, "For now, we need to get you all out of here! Two of you are banged up with one having lost an eye, and three of you had been rendered quirkless!"

Reiko, with a troubled expression on her face, remarked, "Now... now that you mention it, I'm unable to feel my quirk inside of me anymore."

"Same... same goes for me," Kinoko remarked, both her and Reiko looking worried about what the future had in store for them. Eri also felt a sort of emptiness inside of her, but she wasn't quite sure what to make of it yet. Regardless, the three quirkless girls and two banged up heroes (one technically a hero student) followed Toga and Nagant out of there and through a cellar door leading up to an alleyway, leaving the dead bodies of Chronostasis and Mimic behind.

...

In the alleyway, Nagant and Toga did a quick headcount once Mirko, Mirio, Kinoko, Reiko, and Eri were all out of there. "Alright ladies and one buff blonde boy," Nagant said, "Although things didn't end as what I'm sure Dabi would have exactly wanted, the threat of the quirk destroying drug has been rendered moot for good, and Eri has been rescued from the grasp of the Shie Hassaikai. Toga and I are going to have to trust you to take things from here."

"What... what about the girls shot with those evil bullets that took their quirks forever?" Mirko asked, panting a bit with pain and exhaustion.

Nagant rolled her eyes. "I'll have to check first, but I'm, like, ninety-one point six percent sure that we still have some-"

"Hold it right there!"

Nagant was cut off when she and the others heard a female voice call out. They turned to look and saw it that a group of former sidekick level pro heroes who had worked for Endeavor when he was a hero were at the far end of the alleyway, walking right for them. The group, led by Burnin, had all followed Endeavor into villainy due to how they were unable to find any other means of providing for themselves. The group also outnumbered Nagant and the others two to one; even IF Kinoko and Reiko hadn't been rendered quirkless, it was still Burnin's side of fourteen to Nagant's side of seven (Eri was part of Nagant's side's count).

"Well now, you guys seem tuckered out," Burnin sneered confidently, "Methinks that taking you all will be an easy task, even if the lads here and I might take a hit or two because you guys are clearly planning on being stubborn as fuck."

Nagant gave Burnin's group an unamused look. "Now isn't the time, Burnin."

"Yeah, we'll have plenty of time to talk after you and all of your buddies here turn yourselves over," Mirko went on.

Scoffing, one of the male sidekicks said, "Society wouldn't hear us out, wouldn't give us a chance, when Endeavor lost his position. Why should we listen to folks who wouldn't give us a chance, wouldn't hear anything from us, because they automatically assumed the worst of us?"

Mirio and Mirko saw that the Endeavor sidekicks were in the lot in life that they had because it was what had been dealt to them without any say on their part. If society had seen them as themselves rather than as followers of Endeavor, if society had allowed the sidekicks to prove themselves, then things might not have turned out so terribly. But because society had automatically assumed the worst, had designated Endeavor's sidekicks as villainous followers of the now villainous Endeavor because they had worked for him, society had pushed the sidekicks into becoming what they were saying they were going to become. A self-fulfilling prophesy, in a way.

The sidekicks were getting closer to Nagant, Mirio, Mirko, and the others, but the advancing of the sidekicks was cut off when a young boy's voice called out, "Solshot!" Suddenly, spheres of flames, each sphere the size of basketballs, came raining down on the sidekicks of Endeavor.

"These flames," another male sidekick said, "They're the fires of Hellflame! But how in blazes-"

That sidekick was cut off when a young boy wearing a blue cloak with a high collar rushed him suddenly, striking him hard in the face with a fist cloaked in Hellflame fire. "Solblow!" the boy shouted as he took out that sidekick. The other sidekicks of Endeavor tried to surround the boy, but he dropped and put his hands on the ground, making the ground beneath everyone's feet surge and roll, tripping everyone up. Mirko and Mirio tried to go in to fight the sidekicks, but Nagant and Toga held them back, both villainous ladies smirking in amusement.

Gently shaking her head, Nagant said, "You guys are tired and hurt, let Felgrand there have some fun."

Mirko looked over to the now identified Felgrand, saw what he looked like in real life when he wasn't transformed. Within due time, Felgrand had beaten all of the sidekicks aside from Burnin, who he was grabbing by her throat with just one hand. "He... he took out over a dozen quirked persons all trained to be pro hero level," Mirko said, "And he took them out so easily..." Gulping nervously, Mirko said, "...So that's the Asui girl's little brother."

Over where he had Burnin by her throat, Samidare looked up at her, a darkly amused look in his eyes as he looked at her with a minimal amount of mercy. "Is this really the best that those who followed Endeavor down the path of villainy can do?" Samidare asked, "Makes me think that beating up the man himself will be child's play for my sister and I." Burnin, despite being an adult whereas Samidare is a ten-year-old kid, was too beaten and too scared to do more than grasp in vain at the forearm of Samidare with the hand grasping her throat.

Giving the surprisingly terrified Burnin a knowing look, Samidare said, "You're going to be doing something for me, Burnin! You're going to be allowed to go scampering back to your master Endeavor, but when you get to him you'll be telling him a few things for me!" His gaze narrowing a bit, Samidare went on, "You will tell him that when my sister and I get the revenge we want to get on him, for each day that passes until then the punishment we will give him will be worse, and worse, and WORSE. You will tell him that if he wants as much mercy as possible from us, then his only option is for him to surrender to us immediately." Samidare tightened his grasp that he had on Burnin's throat a bit more, his gaze narrowed slightly more.

"...You will tell him that my sister and I WILL be getting the revenge we want to get on him, that we WILL get to him no matter what. He won't be able to hide from us forever, as much as his cowardice-driven sense of survival may convince him otherwise." He then let go of Burnin's throat, let her stumble back. "...You have your task," Samidare snarled at Burnin, "Now go. Your fellows here who lay defeated will be turned over to the authorities, let that serve as a warning for what will happen if you fail to give my messages to Endeavor for me."

Burnin scrambled to get away before she ran off, getting away from capture. "Hey kid, why did you let one of Endeavor's minions go?" Mirko asked.

Hearing Mirko speak up, Samidare turned to look in her direction, saw Mirko and everyone else. "Well someone has to warn Endeavor against hiding for too long," said the young boy, "Endeavor has to come out of hiding eventually so my sister and I can kick his butt."

"We... we still could have captured her," Reiko spoke up, making Samidare turn to look at her, "We shouldn't have let any villains go."

"Oh, so you think you know better than me, don't you?" Samidare asked Reiko. Giving her a dangerous look, Samidare went on, "...Reiko Yanagi."

Everyone was surprised to see that Samidare knew Reiko's name, and before any of them could object, Samidare rushed the group and grabbed Reiko by her throat, grasping her similar to how he had grasped Burnin moments ago. "You think I would hear the word of a girl who participated in the sabotage against my older sister to make her fail an important exam?" Samidare asked, his eyes widening as bit to show a flare of annoyed anger.

"Wh-what are you talking about, kid?" Mirio asked, "Yanagi's classmate Monoma had said-"

"-Lies to cover the sorry rear ends of himself and his conspirators!" Samidare interrupted, "I got the truth! I know full well that Neito Monoma and some of his fellows are the TRUE guilty party behind that foul sabotage!"

Shifting in her stance a bit, Nagant said, "Yeah, our intel got us the truth. Some of the students in UA's Class 1-B had participated in sabotage against UA's Class 1-A, which includes Dabi's target Shoto Todoroki, to make all of Class 1-A fail the provisional license exams, which as a result keeps Todoroki and his classmates out of the field and significantly harder for Dabi to get access to."

Tightening his grasp on Reiko's throat, Samidare went on, "I don't think someone who'd resort to sabotaging her fellow hero students ought to have any say in what is done with a villain! You and your peers, out of pure petty jealousy, had sabotaged my older sister and her peers to make them fail! That mark of failure is a black spot that they will all carry from here on out! An undeserved mar that you and yours had placed on them because of your obsessive need to one up them in the one-sided rivalry that you guys had started!"

"I-I-In Reiko's defense," Kinoko stammered, clearly nervous, "It was our classmate Monoma who started that rivalry and got some of the others worked up!"

Turning his gaze to Kinoko, Samidare said, "But Reiko Yanagi here had allowed herself to get caught up in that very hysteria. She could have chosen to keep her wits about her and stay out of things. She could have done the same as you." Samidare's glare at Kinoko narrowed just a bit. "...Kinoko Komori."

"You... you know their names," Mirio said; he was figuring that the villains found out about Class 1-B sabotaging Class 1-A because it made the media. But specific names were never released; Mirio had looked into it personally and confirmed that specific names had never gotten out. So how was it that Samidare, who is Felgrand, got the names of specific students in Class 1-B?

Chuckling darkly, his chuckling similar to that of a certain Digimon who wears a cloak similar to his own, Samidare said, "Oh, of course I know their names, Mirio Togata. I know yours as well, and I also know you had not only flashed your wiener at my big sister like a lewd, naughty, dirty pervert, you had also went on to beat up my older sister and all of her classmates." Samidare's glare at Mirio acquired a dangerous hint. "I ought to beat you up really good for what you had done, but I'll let things slide for the time being as you've clearly taken some damage."

"Wait a minute," Mirko said, "Buff blonde boy, you flashed your wiener at Eraserhead's students?"

"It was an accident when I was sparring with them," Mirio said, "I was wearing a UA gym uniform and it couldn't change with me when I used my Permeation quirk, so it just fell off." Looking to Samidare, Mirio said, "What I'd like to know is how he found out."

"What I'd like to know is if you had at least attempted to make a proper show of apology to my older sister for flashing your wiener at her and her classmates," Samidare replied, "I really don't like perverts acting naughty towards either of my sisters. I have half a mind to track down the grape-haired pervert who was acting lewd towards my big sister on her first day at UA so I can beat him up."

Nodding once, Mirio said, "I'll... I'll make a proper show of apologizing to your sister and her peers after things here are settled. Just... just please let Yanagi down."

Samidare turned his gaze back to Reiko, who he still had by her throat. "First, I'd like to ask her why exactly she played along with her classmate Neito Monoma to sabotage my older sister and her peers to make them fail."

"Mo.. Monoma got it that I have romantic feelings for a boy in Class 1-A," Reiko began, "Monoma told me that if I helped with beating Class 1-A, then it'd be easier for me to get my crush to like me as I would have beaten him."

"Ah, a 'best him to bed him' kind of deal," Samidare said, "Yes, I got the general idea, it's how my mom got my dad to give her a chance, but in their case she had regularly beaten him in video games when they were students." After looking up at Reiko's expression for a few moments in silence, Samidare let her go, making her fall on her butt.

Mirko attempted to reason with Samidare, try to convince him to find his little sister and come in with her to hero custody who will take care of them. But the young aspy boy wouldn't hear any words of reason from the Rabbit Hero. Instead, he as well as Toga and Nagant took off, allowing Mirko and her group to catch their breaths and capture the knocked out Endeavor sidekicks that Samidare left for them.

END, CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE

Author's notes;

This chapter wraps up a lot of the Shie Hassaikai shenanigans, clearing things very quickly because the Eight Bullets aren't there to help Chronostasis and Mimic who both end up killed. But Mirio loses an eye, and Eri plus Reiko and Kinoko are rendered quirkless. Some Shie Hassaiaki thugs and Endeavor sidekicks are captured, but the heroes (as well as some police allies) had taken a terrible beating. Things here will continue in the next chapter.
