As she was looking at the city of Water-7, Nami couldn't help but be worried about Usopp.
"Raynare should have come back here with him a while ago! She shouldn't have found him."
"Do you think he went to Franky House to get our money?" Lucy asked.
"That's completely stupid." Johnny retorted. "Even if the Franky Family stole 200 million berries from us, we still have 800 million left! Why would Usopp-aniki take so much risk, when we have more than enough to afford a new boat?"
Remembering Usopp's words, after being lynched by the Franky Family, Nami retorted.
"It's not about the money! In fact, Usopp must surely be ashamed of himself! He was ashamed of having been too weak to protect the money we had entrusted to him."
Gritting her teeth, Nami declared.
"He is fighting for his honour! But unfortunately, this can lead to his downfall."
Not knowing what to say, the other pirates on the boat remained silent, unlike one person who laughed.
"Indeed! You are right."
Startled, the pirates turned to see men climbing the stern of the boat, to find themselves on the Merry. Quickly, Nami and Menma recognized the uniforms these people were wearing.
" Franky Family. "
Quickly, about twenty men found themselves on the boat, while pointing their weapons towards the pirates.
"Hihihihi! You're surprised to see us, aren't you?"
"It is true that anyone would have been happy to steal 200 million berries! And since you are pirates, nothing obliges us to return this money to you."
"However, it seems that you still have a lot of money with you."
"And since your companions aren't here, we'll gladly take it from you! So be reasonable and give what we ask of you! We'll avoid unnecessary slaughter."
"Are they...Are they really them?" Someone asked.
"It's Monkey D. Luffy! He's wanted for 100 million berries."
"And there's also Roronoa and Zip-man! Damn it! We're done for."
" We already had a hard time getting rid of Longnose and the beetle! And now there's an entire group of pirates who have come to slaughter us."
"Wait." Zambe begged. "I'm sure we can talk! Yes, let's talk and...FIRE!"
Immediately five cannonballs were fired towards the pirates. But already, Zoro ran in their direction.
" KARASUMA !"
Using his sabers, he wielded them to cut through the cannonballs with incredible ease.
" GARI ! "
And the second he put his swords back in their scabbards, each of the balls was separated in two. Unbalanced, they deviated from their trajectory and exploded without hitting any target.
"He… He sliced through steel cannonballs?"
"DAMN IT! Do it again! He must have just been lucky."
Immediately, five more cannonballs were fired. Letting out a weary sigh, Wiper aimed his bazooka at the projectiles.
" BURN BAZOOKA ! "
Screaming in fear, the Franky Family saw blue flames engulfing the cannonballs, before coming towards them. Throwing themselves aside, they saw the attack brush past them, while pulverizing the cannons.
Hearing numerous explosions, the men remained on the ground and waited a few moments for the explosion to calm down. Finally, when Wiper stopped attacking, they carefully stood up. In place of the cannons, only a few pieces of metal remained, which had half melted from the heat.
"He… He blew our cannons to pieces."
"DAMN IT! THESE GUYS ARE NOT HUMAN!"
"Initiate defense protocol." Zambe ordered.
Immediately, someone ran to a lever and pulled it. Mechanisms were heard through the walls of the building. Then, many trapdoors opened in the wall and ceiling. Crossbows, machine guns, cannons...the pirates found themselves the target of various weapons, which were ready to pulverize them.
"KILL THEM!" Zambe ordered.
Immediately, numerous detonations were heard and a rain of projectiles fell towards the pirates.
"Ridiculous!" Raynare growled, spreading two pairs of wings.
Flapping her wings at full speed, she created powerful gusts of wind, which struck the projectiles and managed to stop them. Stunned, the Franky Family then saw the projectiles fly in their direction. Running to avoid finding themselves in their path, they cried out in fear, while the cannonballs exploded around them, hitting the ground.
"AHHHHHHHHH! HELP!"
" WE ARE GONNA DIE ! "
"It's not over yet." Zambe retorted.
This time, a huge trapdoor opened on the back wall and released a huge spear which was thrown towards the pirates.
"This time you won't be able to stop it."
"Wanna bet? ZIPPER-MAN !"
Walking towards the spear, Bruno summoned his puppet. Running towards the projectile, it hit it several times, creating a multitude of zippers. And when the spear was about to touch Bruno, the weapon fell to the ground, separated into ten pieces.
Once again, the Franky Family was stunned to see this happen.
"OYE! What's going on?"
"It happens that we have to flee."
"Quick! We have to run to the back door."
However, they had to stop, seeing Sanji and Gin blocking their path.
" That ? "
"You declared war on us." Sanji stated.
"Then face the consequences of your actions." Advised Gin.
Then, the duo hit as many guys as possible who were thrown into the air.
"Quick! We have to escape through the windows."
However, numerous attacks targeted them, preventing them from fleeing.
Hatterne use PSYBEAM.
Eevee use SHADOW BALL.
Hitting several people, the attacks created explosions, which forced the survivors to flee. Unfortunately, they ran towards Boufallant, while Velvet was standing on his back.
"I think it's time to kill you." She stated, letting her arm transform.
" A demon ? "
In response, Boufallant rushed at them, while Velvet attacked them as soon as they were within range.
" MOMMY ! "
Quickly, with more than half of his comrades already on the ground, Zambe declared.
"I advise you not to harm us! Do you have any idea who we are?"
At this moment, Luffy stared at him before walking towards him.
"I...I'm serious, Mugiwara." Zambe assured. "I advise you not to attack us. And you know why? Because we have your friends hostage."
"Huh?" Luffy wondered, stopping.
Starting to smile, Zambe affirmed.
"Before Longnose came here, a team was sent to your ship to steal the rest of your money! And as I speak to you, it's obvious that they must have already defeated your companions! We can contact them at any time! So if you don't want them to kill your friends, I don't recommend attacking us."
At that moment, a den-den mushi was heard. Rummaging through his clothes, Zambe grabbed it, before showing it to Luffy.
"See that? That's what lets me contact them! I'm sure they're calling to say they've captured your companions."
At this moment, a laugh was heard. Unable to contain herself, Raynare declared.
"You're so ridiculous."
"What?" Zambe wondered.
"I advise you to pick up quickly." Gin affirmed.
"This might be your last chance to talk to your guys before they get killed." Zoro assured.
"Wh… What are you talking about?" Zambe asked. "If you're here, that means the weakest people on your crew are on your ship! So..."
" Hey ! "
Going silent, Zambe saw Luffy looking at him with annoyance, as he stated.
"There is no one who is weak among my crew members."
" That... ? "
Hearing his den-den mushi continue to ring, Zambe finally activates it, in order to prove that the pirates were wrong.
"Hello? Did you capture the pirates?"
The only response he could hear was cries of terror.
" HELP ! "
"ANIKI! COME AND SAVE US!"
" MOM! "
"What...?" Zambe was surprised, hearing his comrades scream.
Trying to flee, several members of the Franky Family were hit by gusts of wind, which threw them high into the sky.
"AHHHHHHHH!"
" It was not expected. "
Being the one who flew them into the sky, Vivi declared.
"It really wasn't the time to get upset."
Targeting her in her back, a man aimed his gun at the back of her head.
"You're going to pay for it."
" AXE DIAL ! "
Being disembowelled, the man spat blood before collapsing to the ground. Seeing this, Johnny then turned around and used his saber to block another opponent's sword.
"Damn it! You don't stand a chance against us." One of his attackers roared. "There are a lot more of us."
In response, Johnny kicked him in the abdomen to make him step back. Losing his balance, the man could do nothing when Yosaku ran towards him before disemboweling him with his sword.
"ARRRRRGGGGGGGHHHH!" He shouted, before collapsing to the ground.
" Tsssss! To think that we were like them, before we met Luffy-aniki. " Yosaku affirmed.
"It's almost sickening to realize that we would have stayed like this if we hadn't gotten on that boat." Johnny stated.
A blazing inferno was felt and several men ran, while flames spread over them.
"AHHHHHH! It's burning!"
" WATER ! WATER ! WATER ! "
Stepping back as they saw their companions begin to burn, other people stared at Menma who was in front of Azelma and Shun-Day to protect them from the slightest attack.
"Who is this child?"
"She looks like…a phoenix."
Behind them, applause was heard. Having appeared at the start of the fight, Loke was sitting on the boat's railing, while he stared at Menma defeating several people.
"As a mentor, I must admit to being proud of my student's progress."
Seeing him, a few people turned towards him.
" Who are you ? "
But before Loke could introduce himself, a whip wrapped around one of them, immobilizing him. Then, a foot hit him in the face.
" LUCY KICK ! "
Losing a tooth, the man fell to the ground, while Lucy unfurled her whip.
"Franky Family...you're going to regret what you did to Usopp."
However, finding her less dangerous than the others, a man rushed towards her to capture her. Hearing his footsteps, Lucy took a step to the side to dodge his charge. Then she closed her fist.
"Time to try something! LUCY PUNCH! "
The man in front of her wore the traditional Franky Family armor. Yet, aiming for protection, Lucy closed her fist before punching the man's abdomen. Immediately, the impact of the punch cracked the armor, before shattering it into pieces.
Stunned, the man spat out saliva, feeling the fist touch his stomach, before collapsing to the ground. Having seen this, Johnny and Yosaku couldn't help but be shocked.
" Sister-Lucy ? "
"How did you manage that?"
In response, Lucy showed a proud smile as she affirmed.
"It was Chopper who gave me this idea."
" Huh ? "
For his part, Loke began to applaud her.
"Lucy-san! You are so amazing! Thank you for giving me the privilege of becoming your slave."
At that moment, one of their adversaries rushed towards Lucy's spirit before raising a saber above him.
" DIE ! "
However, as he brought down his weapon, the bounty hunter became completely immobilized. Having simply raised his hand, Loke had trapped the blade of the saber between two of his fingers. And although his opponent used all his power to unblock his are, he was unable to match the power of Loke, who seemed angry.

Seeing the man's body flying through the skies, before crashing against the surface of the ocean, Nami turned her gaze to the den-den mushi in her hand. Having stolen it from one of the Franky Family men, she had activated it and before heard Zambe's voice.
"Hey! Are you Franky?" She asked.
" Wh... What? " Zambe wondered. " Who are you? "
"Luffy! Are you there?" Nami asked.
" Yes. " Luffy's voice assured.
"Here, we've already defeated those losers! So..."
Showing a look filled with rage, thinking back to Usopp's state, the redhead roared.
"KICK THEIR ASSES!"
" AYE ! "
Still holding his den-den mushi, not knowing what to say, Zambe saw Luffy start to crack his knuckles, while affirming.
"We will resume our fight."
"Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Calm down guys! Why destroy this place? To get your money back? Unfortunately, the money isn't here anymore."
Seeing Luffy staring at him, Zambe assured.
"I swear it's the truth! Aniki left with your money so she could spend it! So, even if you destroy this place, it won't change anything! You won't get it back..."
Before he could finish his sentence, Luffy's fist hit him in the face and caused him to crash several meters away. Seeing this, Sanji affirmed.
"That will teach him to bawl."
"It's not for the money that we're going to destroy this place." Wiper assured.
"You have declared war on pirates." Raynare assured.
"And you beat up one of ours." Gin continued.
"Honestly, did you really think you could escape this situation unscathed?" Velvet wanted to know.
" Unfortunately, it's too late for you. " Zoro stated.
Finally, staring at the last enemies still standing, Luffy affirmed.
"When we destroy that place, there will be nothing left of you.
" No ... Nothing ? "
Groaning at this, Kiev retorted.
"Stop bragging! Will there be nothing left of you? That's the motto of the Franky Family! There's no way we're going to let ourselves be ridiculed by a small group of pirates."
Then, knowing that escape was impossible, he ordered.
"Prepare the remains of the cannons! Aim them with your revolvers! Slice them with your sabers! KILL THEM!"
Resigning themselve to resume the fight, his companions shouted to motivate themselves, before attacking the pirates with the weapons they had left. However, even with this new motivation the outcome of the fight was quickly declared the moment a first explosion was seen outside the building.
Then, a second was heard. And finally, the entire building exploded. The Franky House had just been destroyed.
Seeing the others evacuating the bodies of their enemies out of the Going Merry, Nami still held the den-den mushi in her hand, while Luffy affirmed.
" Usopp is with us and Chopper is healing him. "
Breathing a sigh of relief, Nami declared.
"This idiot... I'm reassured but at the same time I still want to kill him because of his stupidity."
" On the other hand, the money is no longer there. " Luffy admitted. " The leader of these guys left with it and they don't know where he is. "
Hearing this, a vein of rage appeared on Nami's forehead. Still, trying to calm herself down, she groaned.
"It ... It doesn't matter! You got Usopp back, that's the most important thing! If we are unable to find our lost money, I will settle for the 800 million we have left."
" Nami...by the way, I've made a decision about our boat. "
Immediately, the pirates around Nami stopped and turned their faces towards her.
Looking at the ocean in the distance, while holding Zambe's den-den mushi in his hand, Luffy remained silent for a few seconds, while his comrades were behind him. Finally, he declared.
"We will leave Merry at Water-7 and continue our adventure with a new boat."
A few hours later
" HAHAHAHA! " Franky sneered, grabbing Usopp's money. "Thank you again for your money."
" NOOOOOO! " Usopp shouted, trying in vain to run towards him. "Give our money back! It's to make up for Merry."
However, despite running towards Franky, Usopp was unable to get closer to him. On the contrary, Franky disappearing in the distance. Then, when he found himself alone, Usopp finally stopped.
"Our...Our money."
Suddenly, hearing a strange noise behind him, Usopp turned around to see Merry. However, the boat no longer had anything to do with the one Usopp knew. Completely dilapidated and destroyed, the boat resembled a ghost ship, while it appeared to be on the verge of completely collapsing.
" Merry ? "
"This is all your fault, Usopp."
Appearing in front of him, Luffy stared at Usopp angrily, as did the rest of the crew.
"If Merry is destroyed...IT'S YOUR FAULT!"
Suddenly, Usopp opened his eyes and stood up, letting out a cry of fear.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
being in front of him, Chopper shouted in turn and took a step back. Stepping on a vial, Chopper felt his foot roll over the object and lost his balance. Falling on his back, he caused a noise that echoed throughout the boat.
"Chopper?" Usopp was surprised.
Looking around, Usopp saw that he was in the Merry's kitchen. Having been placed on the ground, Usopp had been resting there ever since Luffy and the others had brought him here. Also being in the room, Heracross slept while bandages surrounded his body.
" Heracross ... "
Standing up, Chopper declared.
"Usopp! Glad to see you awake."
Not knowing what to say, Usopp finally realized that he had just had a nightmare. Yet he knew that part of his nightmare was true: he was responsible for the loss of a large part of the crew's money.
"Chopper!" Sanji shouted, entering the kitchen. " Are you okay ? "
Having heard the noise caused by Chopper's fall, Sanji saw the reindeer in front of Usopp, who had just woken up.
"Usopp." The cook rejoiced.
Then he turned towards the outside of the kitchen.
"Luffy! Usopp woke up."
Immediately, the sniper heard shouts of joy coming from the boat. Then the crew began to gather in the ship's galley.
"USOPP!" Luffy rejoiced.
" USOPP-ANIKI ! "
"I was so scared for you."
"You fool! You deserve me to kick your ass for even having the idea to fight the Franky Family."
"She's right Usopp! This is completely stupid."
"But the most important thing is that you are okay."
Hearing them speak, Usopp remained still. He didn't understand. He had failed in his obligations by being unable to protect the money entrusted to him. And yet, none of his friends seemed to blame him. Instead, they were more worried about his condition.
Finally, unable to contain himself, the sniper began to sob.
"Guys...I'm sorry! You can't know how I want to."
"It doesn't matter." Luffy said. "We have 800 million berries left."
"Don't talk like it really doesn't matter." Nami roared.
Then, sighing, she stared at Usopp, while declaring.
"If you want to be forgiven, you must give us your share of all our future treasures, over a period of ten years! And you will be forgiven."
Continuing to speak, Usopp assured.
"AYE! I'll pay you back for everything I've made you lose! I promise."
Then, wiping his eyes, Usopp looked at Luffy.
"By the way, were the carpenters able to make all the observations they needed? Were they able to give us a price to be able to completely repair our boat?"
However, as he spoke hopefully, Usopp was surprised to see his friends remain silent.
"Who does he have? We still have 800 million berries, don't we? With all that money, we have plenty of money to fix Merry and strengthen him! I'm even sure we can make him more strong with cannons."
"Usopp!" Luffy stopped him. "Regarding our boat, I have made a decision."
" Huh ? "
"I have decided that we will continue our journey...with another boat."
Usopp remained still. Opening and closing his eyes several times, he seemed to have difficulty understanding what Luffy had just said to him.
" Huh ? "
"I'm sorry I had to make this decision while you weren't here but...we decided to leave Merry here."
" But...What are you talking about? What the hell are you saying? I...I thought we came here to fix Merry! So why do you want to get rid of it? Why? Is it because of a money problem?"
"Tssss! Don't talk nonsense." Raynare growled. "With 800 million, we can afford a whole armada of ships."
Staring at Usopp, the fallen angel questioned him.
"Why do you think we decided to have another boat?"
"I...I don't understand."
"Usopp...we spoke with Kaku." Lucy told him. "And for him, Merry is beyond repair."
Hearing this, Usopp widened his eyes.
"Merry is…?"
"The damage our boat suffered to bring us here was much too violent." Bruno declared. "As we thought when we arrived here, Merry has been far too weakened by our journey to be repaired."
"But at least with our money we can buy a new boat." Luffy assured.
Grabbing the catalog offered by Iceberg, he assured.
"The most expensive boat that Ice-ossan can build for us costs 254 million berries! This boat could be five times bigger than Merry and have more cannon! With this kind of boat, we can continue our journey."
"OUT OF THE QUESTION!" Usopp roared.
Getting back to his feet, while staring at Luffy angrily, the sniper retorted.
"I don't want another boat! It's with Merry that I want to travel and become a hero of the oceans! I... I know perfectly well that it's repairable! So don't say anything ."
Grabbing Luffy's collar, he roared.
"How did you get fooled by the nonsense of these liars? These carpenters don't know what they're saying."
"Don't talk nonsense." Luffy retorted. "I don't see why Ice-ossan and the others would lie to us."
"Merry can't be irreparable." Usopp assured. "Merry is… It's…"
Suddenly, a loud shock was heard. Surprising everyone, Velvet had just hit the kitchen floor with her demonic arm, pulverizing part of the floor. Then, reaching out her hand to Usopp, she grabbed hold of his hair, before tossing him down the hole she had just screamed.
"AHHHH!" Usopp shouted, before falling into the hold.
Then groaning in pain, the sniper stood up, before seeing another hole in the hold, where Kaku had removed the planks, to see the state of the keel.
"This is where the carpenter finished his inspection." The demonic woman declared, joining him. "And we asked him not to put the planks back, so Luffy would understand why the boat was beyond repair."
Remaining still at first, Usopp eventually positioned his head above the hole in the floor. immediately, his eyes widened when he saw the state of the keel.
"It's damaged." Velvet stated. "You say you love your boat? Know that you are making it suffer by forcing it to continue a journey it can no longer accomplish."
Continuing to stare at the keel, Usopp clenched his fists, as tears began to stream down his faces.
"Merry...no! It's impossible!"
Suddenly, uttering a cry of rage, he got to his feet before running out of the hold.
"Usopp?" Nami was surprised, seeing him leave the boat.
"I'm going to the shipyard." Usopp affirmed. "There's gotta be something I can do! There's gotta be something I can do to fix Merry."
Quickly, he left the boat, before running towards Water-7. Seeing him do this, Choopper wanted to stop him.
"Stop, Usopp! You're hurt."
However, Zoro positioned himself in front of him.
"I think it's best to leave him alone! When he comes back, let's hope he's calmed down enough to understand reality."
But as the pirates watched Usopp run into the distance, no one saw that an apple was once again floating above them, while the laughter of a shinigami could be heard.
