It was a bright summers morning in Trinity South Carolina, the scorching sun was already high in the sky and there were no clouds in sight to give cover from the tremendous heat.
Lucas Buck drove happily down the long rough stretch of road with the windows down, taking in the pure country air that he was accustomed to. The heat was already unbearable for most people, his girls included; however, he and his boys were always untouched by it, making this long drive a breeze for them.
'Are we there yet?' Gail Jr moaned irritated, hating being cooped up in her Fathers car and pulling at her vest which was itching her skin. At least the top came down on her Mothers car, this metal prison gave her no break from the burning hell she's had to endure these past few months.
'Quit mopin', you're such a baby' Luke scolded, sitting tall for his Father to show how much bigger he was. 'Are we nearly there?' he asked excitedly, struggling to hold in his giddiness.
Lucas rolled his eyes and didn't bother entertaining the question, it had been the fifteenth time this question had been asked and he was beginning to get annoyed by his children's impatience.
'Serves you right for draggin' us out of bed and pilin' us all in the car without warnin', like an impromptu adventure. It ain't their fault you set them off early' Caleb said in his siblings defence, knowing how excited they always got when their routine is changed unexpectedly.
'Impromtu?' Lucas asked sarcastically, surprised by Caleb's vocabulary.
Caleb just shrugged smugly, enjoying showing off his intelligence.
Lucas laughed and shook his head. 'It's shame your Momma can't hear you, she'd be very impressed with the positive influence your first year of High School has had on you'
'Speakin' of the devil, what'd you slip her to knock her out like that?' Caleb signalled behind him.
Lucas feigned offence at the accusation then glanced in the rearview mirror and smiled at Gail passed out in the backseat leaning on Gail Jr's shoulder, with their youngest children on either side of her holding her hands.
'She's really tired' Luke said concerned, not used to his Mother sleeping through their noisiness and stroked her hand lovingly.
'See Son, she's just tired' Lucas said to Caleb with a smirk, laughing when his eldest just shook his head in disbelief at their naivety.
'Are we there ye-' Gail Jr started, then squealed excitedly when she spotted the familiar sign up ahead.
Luke turned his attention to his Sister, then began to bounce excitedly when they past the sign.
'Yeah, just tired I'm sure' Caleb said disapprovingly when Gail didn't even stir at the racket in the backseat.
Lucas felt Caleb's disapproving stare and disregarded it, this was his time off and he wasn't going to let anything spoil his good mood. He continued to drive down the long deserted road and smiled when they reached his desired destination, getting out quickly and letting his youngest children out of the car to enable them to work off their excitement at his surprise.
Caleb sat back in the front passenger seat for a moment, taking in his surroundings and smiled devilishly to himself at the thought of his last time here.
Lucas opened the front passenger door and knelt down to Caleb's level. 'Told you it'd be worth the early dart' he smirked, sensing his Son's cool composure changing to excitement and signalled for him to go join his siblings, happy for Caleb to drop the pressures he usually put on himself to act older and enjoy his youth while he could.
Caleb rushed out of the car excitedly, then felt an uncomfortable tugging in his mind and turned back to his Father. 'Is she gonna be alright?' he asked seriously, suspecting Gail wasn't going to react as well as the children did to this surprise.
'Ain't none of your concern Son, let go of your inhibitions and leave the adultin' to me' Lucas ordered, smiling when Caleb obeyed and caught up to his siblings. 'Now, what am I gonna do with you?' he sighed, moving to where Gail lay sleeping peacefully and lifted her gently out of the car.
Gail felt something soft brush against the inside of her thigh and stirred slightly, the warm sun tried to penetrate her eyelids but she closed them tight to keep it out, not ready wake up just yet and having the most wonderful dream. When she felt sharp teeth pierce the skin on the side of her neck, she opened her eyes and laughed as Lucas licked the wound tenderly. 'If this is how your annual leave starts, I don't think I ever want it to end' she smiled, stretching slightly in an attempt to wake herself up and partially opened her eyes, trying to focus due to the brightness of the room.
'Have you opened the curtain's already? I thought you'd prefer a little more time in the dark before having to tend to our responsibilities' she said with a hint of disappointment in her tone, feeling an intense arousal already and wanting to play in their bedroom for a little longer before seeing to their children.
'We ain't goin' anywhere Love, you just lie back and clear your mind' Lucas whispered, licking his lips as he lifted up her chemise to give him access to her sweet spot, then began devouring her slowly.
Gail let out a low moan as his tongue pushed inside of her and he began playing. This wasn't fair, he knew exactly how to make her unravel effortlessly and she was powerless to stop him, not that she would ever want to. Lucas must've sensed her thoughts as she felt his confident smile, then he began delving deeper. She entangled her hand in his thick caramel blonde hair and pulled him closer, calling out when an intense bolt of pleasure surged through her.
Lucas continued to make her unravel, showing how much he wanted to make her happy, then stopped before her orgasm hit and climbed on top of her.
Gail moaned disappointedly, then smiled when he forced her legs open wider with his knees and pushed his hard manhood inside of her.
'Don't worry Love, we ain't even close to finished yet' Lucas whispered in her ear seductively, unable to stay down any longer as his own desire became unbearable and he needed to be inside of her.
Gail stared deep into his eyes, enjoying the uncomfortable sensation of his first entry before her body got used to his length and dragged her nails down his back when he began to thrust intently. It was strange, something felt off and she could usually hear her noisy children at least faintly; however, his deep effective thrusts were clouding her mind and all she could focus on was their joint desire for each other.
Lucas smiled at her unguarded thoughts, happy that her desire for him still matched his desire for her and when they got to a certain point their cravings for each other overtook everything else around them. An intensive surge of pleasure hit him and he moaned loudly into her neck, loving how easily she succumbed to him. He enjoyed punishing her when she was bad, gaining strong satisfaction at the unusual ways he could break her; however, taking her like this was also a joy and he often craved her undivided acceptance.
Gail sensed his thought and kissed him passionately. After the stunt she pulled the previous month with his murder enquiry and the prolonged punishment she had endured for weeks after, this was a welcome change and she had no problem giving in to him completely when he was so attentive to her needs.
A car door slamming caught her attention for a moment, then Lucas pounded into her harder and her attention was back solely on him. Lucas nipped at her neck playfully and let out another loud moan as their climax began to rise together, then dug his teeth into her shoulder when she called out his name and they came violently together.
Gail smiled with her eyes closed when he collapsed satisfied onto her chest and she tried to take in a deep breath to calm her heartrate, content just laying here with him still inside of her. Suddenly, a loud squeal caught her ears and she regained her senses, causing her eyes to shoot open and notice the unfamiliar surroundings which certainly wasn't her bedroom. 'Lucas Darling' she said sweetly, her eyes glaring at the discoloured ceiling above her.
'Yes Dear' Lucas responded smoothly, comfortable on her chest listening to her breath.
'Get the hell off of me now' Gail ordered through gritted teeth, trying to keep a hold of her darkness before she could review how seriously he had screwed her.
Lucas sensed her realisation and let out a long sigh, pulling out of her knowing there was no point wasting any effort protesting.
Gail pushed him off of her and jumped out of the bed which wasn't hers, then stared around the unfamiliar room confused. When she heard several voices now and felt a familiar sense of deja vu, she closed her eyes in exasperation then walked over to the window. As she opened her eyes to confirm what she had expected, her darkness flew to the surface and she turned back towards her Husband with venom in her eyes.
'Now Love-' Lucas started calmly, pulling on his pants.
'How did I get here?! You certainly can't fly and our children lack the ability to remain silent for more than 30 seconds' Gail interrupted angrily, not allowing him to handle her like he did his townspeople.
Lucas feigned offence over the dig at their children and he took a step towards her.
'How!' she demanded, willing him to get within grabbing distance of her right now.
Lucas sensed her ready to allow her darkness to take control and he held his hands up in mock surrender. 'Now Love, I'm more than happy to have this showdown with you, but I'm sure you'll agree this ain't the place with our friends off loadin' everythin' outside' he said smugly, knowing she wouldn't make a public scene.
Gail inhaled deeply to calm herself, regaining some of her composure and tried to think logically about her current situation. 'The herbal tea you brought me when I was struggling to dispel my feeling of unease after midnight...are you kidding me?!' she asked in disbelief, realising something was wrong last night and cursing herself for being so trusting of him.
Lucas just shrugged, feeling no remorse for his actions. Remorse was beneath him, Gail knew that when she accepted him years ago and he wouldn't apologise for doing what he had to do to ensure his family got here without incident.
'So you drugged me and kidnapped me, for what?!' she snapped, not believing he had stooped to this level.
'Our annual vacation Love, it's gonna be great' Lucas smiled devilishly, closing the distance between them while her head was still reeling and forcing his lips on hers.
Gail tried to push him off of her but he overpowered her effortlessly. Suddenly the door crashed open and their youngest children barged into the room, sensing their Mother was finally awake and ran to her excitedly.
Gail forced a smile for her happy children when Lucas let her go and she took them into her arms lovingly.
'I caught a frog Momma, come see!' Luke exclaimed, taking her hand and trying to drag her out to show her.
'Come Momma, come see!' Gail Jr repeated jumping up and down, taking her Mothers hand and mirroring her Brothers excitement.
Gail could not contain her laughter at their attempt to drag her when she was still only wearing her chemise, as if that was at all appropriate in their current surroundings.
'Alright now, you hellions get out and give your Momma chance to make herself presentable. I don't need the rabble out there seein' what only I should see' Lucas stepped in, taking Gail's hand and pulling her to his side dominantly.
For once Gail was happy for his authority and smiled at her children, reassuring them that she would come out as soon as she was dressed, then looked up at Lucas when they left. 'Next time, some warning of our so called vacation would be preferable' she scolded.
'And where would the fun be in that Darlin'?' Lucas responded mischievously, sensing she was unable to hold onto her anger when she saw how happy their children were and dragged her back to bed quickly to have some fun before his children stole her from him.
