Harry always noticed how he did strange things. If he was hungry, he could make food duplicate before summoning it through the door. It may defeat the laws of physics, but so be it.
When he was five, his aunt and uncle noticed, screaming, "Freak." as they shoved them out of the cupboard, before searching for food.
Harry, unamused and assuming these strange things were under his control, pushed the Dursleys into the cupboard, before locking the door, trapping them in there for three days. The length of his punishment before.
Dudley, knowing Harry caused this, like he caused his behind to have welts for days, after he encouraged someone to find a better friend than Harry, said nothing.
Harry, calm as ever, made a pizza turn into two. "Want a piece, brat?" Dudley shook his head. The last thing Harry offered him made him sick. Dudley decided not to eat for these three days.
After the Dursleys time out, Vernon yelled at Harry, "Out! Don't come home until bedtime. You're dangerous!" This being fine by Harry, led to Harry being his loner self at school. School wasn't great itself, his teachers didn't like him. Many thought he was a criminal.
Dudley claimed Harry beat him up, when his teachers asked him why he couldn't sit. The teacher took that as an explanation. Harry got average marks, but he was accused of cheating when he studied and got an A. That is how he turned the teacher's skin blue. "Again." Petunia gasped.
She took her husband to the side. "Lilly's magic was never that strong." Vernon was shocked Petunia was willingly talking about her sister, reluctantly brought up the question, "Is it on purpose?" Petunia pursed her lips, "I think so." "What do we do?" "What can we do? He needs us to live." "We keep him outside as much as possible."
When Harry was eight, he was assigned more chores than anyone he knew. Harry did his gardening. Just for Dudley having no chores, he killed the roses. "Hi." He said to the snake. He jumped when it answered back, "Hi."
Petunia ran out when Harry screamed. Harry never screamed. Not when the man bowed to him or when he was trapped on the school roof for a week. Apparently Petunia wasn't the only one concerned about her freak going missing. "What's wrong, boy?" Harry just shook his head. Petunia sighed and went inside. She would usually punish the boy, but learnt it ends up in injury to her and Vernon. And sometimes her son. Thankfully, not all the time.
When a letter arrived, Vernon, not caring that Harry was a wizard anymore, as long as he goes away, let Harry read his letter. "I'm a wizard." "Unfortunately." Petunia muttered. "You'll accept that invitation boy. Not an request." "How do I pay for it?" Vernon turning purple as a grape, forced the words out, "I'll pay for it." There was no way that freak was staying here. He could cause problems at will. "Remember the rules boy, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and outside."
Petunia frowned, what could they do? Her nephew caused problems when things went well, but if he felt he was being treated unfairly, incidents increased. Punishments didn't work, and often made him more aggressive. She wasn't willing to have a house fire again. Or to be stuck to the ceiling. Or Vernon get a demotion again. How the freak managed that, she never knew.
