Claire walked into the woods, far from the cabin, and the town. She made sure that she wasn't followed this time. Claire was now in her nineth month as an Indoraptor transforming. She didn't know what to do. She was scared out of her mind. The only person she could think of that could help was Henry Wu, but she didn't trust him at all, considering what he did in the past. But, there was no other way. So, Claire had to live with this now.

Soon, Claire was deep in the woods, when she heard a cry. She turned her head to see a familiar Velociraptor.

"Blue," said Claire.

Blue walked up to Claire, and sniffed her. Claire was trying to stay as still as she could. Blue then stepped back, and the two stared at each other. The moon was now starting to take over the sky. Blue sat down, and looked at Claire, as the latter held her breath, until the sun was fully gone.

And then, a pain was felt in her stomach. She screamed out in pain, and she fell onto her hands and knees. Claire then looked down at her hands, and saw her nails break apart to reveal massive claws, and one of her fingers retracting on each hand. Her thumbs became a bit more vestigal. Her arms then got longer and thicker, with her skin becoming scaly and black!

Claire then felt her mouth feel on fire. Her teeth started to become sharper, conical and serrated. She opened her eyes, and they were now a bright red, and her pupils were slanted. Claire's neck extended, and became an S-shaped theropod neck. Claire's body then grew wider, and muscular, ripping her shirt a bit. Claire's boots suddenly burst open, as her feet grew larger. Her big toes retracted into her feet, as her second toe moved up her heel, and the middle toe's nail grew into a sickle claw, with her outer toes also gaining claws, smaller, but still deadly.

Claire's legs got beefier, and ripped out of the seams, and made her faster, and more athletic. Claire's hair then turned black, and became more stiff and pointed, turning into quills.

Claire then felt something growing from her spine, and turned to see a long tail start to grow out, making almost half the total length of Claire's new body. A yellow streak was seen running from the base of the neck to her tail. Claire's head then stretched out, as her ears changed into a pair of small holes on the back of her head, and her face became more like a Tyrannosaurus', and her mind slowly slipped.

The Indoraptor then ripped the shirt off, and roared. It then looked around, and spotted Blue.

"Claire?" asked Blue.

Claire stepped back, and said, "Y... You know who I am?"

"You're the mate of my alpha," said Blue.

"Well, I don't feel very at home in this body."

"What did you do?"

"I've killed animals, and eaten them, and just killed people for fun. It... it traumatized me so much."

"Does this happen every night?"

"No, only the full moon. Like a Were-Wolf."

"A what?"

"Oh, right, you haven't seen movies. Just never mind that. Well, why did you follow us?"

"Because we're family. And, I wanted to keep tabs on you."

"Hey, hey," said Blue, "I'm here. Come, let's go into the night."

"What?"

"Let's hunt as a pair."

"Why?"

"We're both raptors, and well, we could be a pack in the night."

"I'm just, a bit, uncomfortable. When the smells come, the instincts take over."

"Alright, I won't force you. But never know, something primal might take over, and you make me your bitch," smirked Blue teasingly.

Claire then threw some dirt at Blue, and said, "Let's just get going."

Soon, the two headed into the woods, and were making raptor calls to each other. And then, they came to a herd of deer. There were all sorts of deer, prime for the picking.

"Okay," said Blue, "I'll go around, and then break a few individuals from the-"

Claire wasn't listening, and she was crouching, ready to pounce.

"Claire!" snapped Blue quietly.

Claire shook her head, and blinked, saying, "Sorry. The smells kicked in my instincts."

"Okay, how about this? We each separate a single individual and then take them down. Okay, can you do that?"

"Yeah," said Claire, "I've taken down cows, moose, and so many deer as well."

"Alright," said Blue, "Just, don't let the blood lust get in the way of thinking."

Claire looked at the deer, and this time, she was actually in control. However, her stomach was telling her to eat. So, Blue went to the edge, and got ready. They would drive the deer down a small ravine, where they could easily get one each.

After a few minutes, Blue burst out into the open, and screeched, making the herd run and scatter. The Velociraptor ran at top speed, and the Indoraptor popped out, and herded the deer into the ravine, where they had to start to get closer together. There were a few struggling to keep up with the rest. Claire then jumped onto a buck, and quickly broke the neck. Blue then jumped up, and her killing claws ripped some flesh off her victim, and then the deer fell to the ground, where Blue used her foot to slice the wind pipe.

Claire then picked up her prize, and walked next to Blue. The two then ate their fill, and took off with a race. Claire had never felt free. She was in full control, and now, one with nature, and she was at peace.

Next morning, Claire awoke to see Blue sleeping next to her, and there were some bones close by, and a little nest.

Claire then carefully got up, and left Blue. Blue lifted her head up, and made a little chirp, before heading back to sleep.

Claire wondered a bit, and found Owen about to head off to find her, only to surprise him.

"Wow," he said, "Not often that you come back."

"Well," said Claire, "I had some help."

"From who?"

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you."
